John and Jordan looked at the Captain paitently, "sir?" jordan said. John decied to take action, if this got him disaplind so be it, it was for the better of the ship.

He grabbed a container from near by and scooped some of the goo inside it, he headed into the captains ready room to the jefferys tube to engernieering. The jefferys tube was coverd in the goo, but john took the risk it kept burning small holes in his uniform, and the container was starting to burn, "argh" john shouted as it touched his skin, "that hurt" he paused "alot" he then he said laughing he reached engerneering in one piece.

"Hey Kiara, can you take a look at this, comms down by the way"

Lt. Williams just came on for his shift in Engineering, and saw the mess of things.

"Hey, Ensign Polu, why is this such a mess? Get team Alpha on engines, Beta on turbolifts and transporters, and Charlie on communications. Move, and I mean now ensign," he said and noticed the cadet.

"Cadet, are taking on too much. We are here to help each other. Distribute the work so it will get done faster. Stay with me until the Cheif returns. You will be learning with me today. We have teams to do certain things in engineering, Alpha takes care of engineers, Beta takes care of transporters, and Charlie takes care of communications. There are other sub teams under them, but we don't bother with the sub teams, that is the job of the teams. We watch over each team making sure we keep busy ourselves. We also roll up our sleeves an get our hands dirty too. Sometimes members of the team disappear, and we help the team with their project. We are going to be working on communications with team Charlie. Come on, and I will show you how to repair them," he said and started to walk in the direction team Charlie was.

The bridge had been a busy place for a little while, and Lt. Commander Joshua Jenkins was sure things would get worse if they didn't do something about it.

"Helm, manuver around that ship, and make sure they don't enter our warp path. Security, I want you to run whatever scans you can. Find out what they have for weapons, shield, and what type of ship it is. Ops, keep hailing them. We need to reach them," He said and walked to the front of the bridge prefering to stand for now.

A minute later they had a face on the screen.

"What is it you want!" the man screamed at Josh.

"We want you to back off, and not cross into our warp path. That is what we want. We don't like it when ships try to cripple their ships using our ship to do so. State your intentions if you have any," he said being bold for the first time in his life.

"We are here to meet another vessel for a trade. It doesn't concern you human," the man said, and was clear of the screen.

"Helm continue on your course to the planet. We have a mission to complete. Security, I want to know the threats of this space, and I want it in the next ten seconds," he said and noticed the ambassador.

"Oh, amabassador, I didn't see you there. Welcome to the bridge. Is there anything we can do for you?" He said hoping to help her if need be.

OOC: Just getting this back on track. We've been at this a little too long, imho. I'm not sure where everyone else is, but I have added two NPC's for now, making 4.

I have Alex covering medical, Sheeta is working with ops (if needed) and navigation, Lt. Williams is covering Engineering, and Lt. Commander Josh Jenkins is who everyone will report to until we get our regular officers back. We can consider him fifth or sixth in command if need be. Lets get a posting!

David was relieved to know that the Denebolan ship was not going to cause a problem. He was also happy to return to his regular duties. As he returned his attention to the different power requests he noticed that the turbolifts on decks five through ten were dead. He immediately sent a short power spike in that direction to see if it was a matter of power or a matter of mechanics that had led to that systems failure. It immediately returned to full power and its operation system began requesting a diagnostic.

"Commander, the turbolift system has been restored to full power; however, the core is requesting a diagnostic be performed," he said plainly.

He continued to survey the computer systems and he was thrilled to see that the power spikes were no longer affecting any environmental systems.

"and environmental systems have returned to normal."

JJ had thought it was sorted out, and then the report came in. He couldn't believe it was pirates here in space of all places.

"Raise shields, arm weapons, but don't fire unless fired upon. I want to see their full intentions before we act upon anything, but we need to be prepared," he said, standing in the center of the bridge.




Alex had been busy, but she wasn't worried, this was normal for the time being.

"Gary, how are things going? I hope you don't feel too overwhelmed with all that is happening here. Our job is never done," she said, and smiled sweetly before wandering over to the next patient.

Chris sat in the Helms chair waiting for the captian to tell him what to do in this situation as chris turned the ship into a turn to make it so we could attack the attackig ships.

Chris said as he took the ship out of the turn and into a direct path with the Attacking ship. Chris saw that they were hailing the Hepta.

"Captain they are hailing us, there Forward phaser banks are also charging to full charge. Should we dismiss the hail and attack.

Captain it is standard Arcturan policy to hail fire before you fire. Never the less I recommend opening a channel. if David send a type 9 attack algorithm threw the Arcturan pirates communication array possibly hopefuly crippling or disabling, there ship or at least l minimizing blood shed and making the a less threatening target.

Josh listened to all the suggestions.

"Good ideas, but something has been missed. The best way to defeat your opponet in this case, is to learn who it is exactly you are fighting first. With that, respond to the hail by opening it," he ordered, and was shocked to see who was on the opposite side.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't my old buddy JJ. Good, now I know how to kill you and yours after I steal my prize," the pirate leader said and laughted evilly.

"Okay, cut that channel," he said suprised to see his old mentor sitting in the pirate leader's position. Josh didn't let that stop him though, and the surprise didn't last long.

"Now we know who it is, so kill their communications arrays. We want to send a warning, and Cadet Darmek that was a good suggestion. If they fire on us after that then make sure they don't have any shields no matter how many times of firing it takes. If they persist after that destroy the ship. I don't like saying to do that, but if it is a kill or be killed situation, then we do the killing. It doesn't make it right, it just makes it necessary," he said sitting back in the captain's seat.

He didn't like the situation, and wished it had been someone he didn't know. He heard the reports, and hoped they would back off, unfortunately they didn't.

"Helm, evasive manuvers, use the Conotona pattern beta six one seven," he said remembering his mentor hadn't heard of this one, a manuver his younger brother, who was still at the academy, had come up with. Many in the federation had learned it by now, and he hoped his old mentat hadn't learned it by now. Not many of the ships were actually using it even though they knew it.

David sat up on his console and started paying as much attention as he possibly could to the sudden increase of power requests. Even the computer system seemed to be having trouble. The system was still weak and David had a bad feeling about the lack of repairs. He made sure that every request made by the weapons systems and shields were the first to recieve attention.

Suddenly a warning appeared on his screen.

"Sir, we have GOT to get some techs to the system core, whatever has been affecting us for the last few hours is not relenting and I have several requests for diagnostic checks and maintenence," David said forcefully, "Otherwise, we are going to be in serious trouble and soon."

Chris had no idea what this manuever was but he inputed it into the computer and the ship began to follow his orders until they just stopped and the console went dead as well as the rest of the bridge. The bridge's emergency lights went on. Chris tried to bring up the system again.

"Captain the Ships power supply has been drained we are operating with 2% power enough to power my console and engineerings console. We have tech crews on there way to the system core."

Chris looked back at the captain with a concerned look on his face that now they are sitting ducks with no shields, engines or weapons.

"Some of my gagets will stun an others will like net that you can't get of an then of course there also some that will blind them for short time.

[glow=red,2,300]As everyone left the armory a huge tunnel like thing was sticking out the ship. Troops were coming down with bigger, and proberly better weapons than them.

every one began fireing, "By heck this is fun" john shouted, another cadet replied by saying "isn't it just"[/glow]

David turned about just in time to see several "pirates" come charging onto the bridge from the direction of the main hatch. He quickly tapped his comm badge.

"Security to the Bridge!" he shouted as the raiders opened fire.

David jumped up and rushed one unsuspecting humanoid invader, hitting him low in the stomach and turning to use him as a shield against his two partners that were still blasting away. He felt something hot rip across his ribs and his new best friend was viciously battering his back, but he kept pushing. The other two attackers, no longer in David's field of vision, were still firing. The humanoid had stopped thrashing and David assumed that he'd been shot to death by his friends. However, David, with the now lifeless body ontop of him, was still pushing his way up the ramp that lead toward the door from which the pirates had entered.

Eventually, David threw the body ontop of the other two. He ran full on into them and forced them off of the bridge and into several other that were looking to follow the invasion force.

"Computer seal the bridge!" he shouted.

He heard a chirp of acknowledgment before he lost consciousness.

it took around 10 mins for him to bypass the door, during this time the raiders had took over engineering, "were in sir" imediatly a battle insude johns team had lost a man with in a few seconds. john fired at who looked to be the leader. He fell and the raiders disapeard, a few minutes later the tunnel had re tracted and the ship had gone.

As the pirates rushed the bridge chris stood and turned on the shields to maximum and began a routine check of the ship.

"Captain there is intruders in half the ship."

They fought off the invaders from the bridge. Chris turned to the captain.

"Sir half the intruders have beamed off the ship or have been taken into custody."

As chris clicked around on the helm board. He noticed that the Chief of Security said that the left a package in engineering.

"Sir, they need you down in Engineering. and it's urgent."

Josh was a little upset about the power outtage, but didn't say anything. He heard there were crews sent to fix it, and thought things were getting out of hand.

Without having to say a word or give orders, the cadets worked to get ready for the company coming. He pulled out a phaser getting ready in case they tried to take the bridge.

When they did try, he went to stun one of them, and found a cadet quickly took care of it. Once the bridge was secure from them, the cadet fainted. =^=Bridge to Medical, you are needed on the bridge!=^= He shouted into the commlink. Alex acknowledged, and he moved over to the fainted cadet, suddenly some security came on the deck.

The doctor's cadet came up and helped to get the cadet off the bridge for treatment.

The good news finally came. "Good, I will head down to engineering then, cadet you are with me." He said first to Cadet Pemberton, then to one of the security cadets.

They made their way down quickly, and when he entered Engineering he found the biggest surprise there. It was their leader of all people, and he was borg!

"Well, it looks like we have a prisoner that needs excorting down to the brig. Well done, people, cadet make sure the team arrives like now, and get him down there. I will have the head of security down there to interrogate him," he said and moved away shaking his head at his old mentat. He sighed and returned to the bridge.

"Cadet, I want you to go down to the brig and interrogate the prisoner. Do what you must to get information from him. I want to know why he is here, and what his plans are. Make sure you find out what he intended to still from us as well," he said to Cadets Roberts and McKnight. They nodded and left.

"Ramsey, tell engineering they have an hour tops to get this ship back in good working order. Pemberton, try to get us out of here and towards that planet as soon as you have power to do so," he ordered sitting back down in the captain's chair.


Alex got things ready for the cadet, and ordered her cadet up to the bridge to retrieve the person.

Gary returned, and she let him handle the cadets wounds, healing him as needed.



Williams didn't like the news when it came. "Okay, cadet, you heard the report, we have an hour to get this ship in good working order. I am placing you as the acting CEO for now. What do you suggest ma'am?"

David sat up wearily and winced sharply as pain laced its way along his rib cage. He looked down and saw that his uniform was seared and his red flesh was still showing. Apparently, he'd been hit by phaser fire but luckily for him it seemed to have only grazed him. However, it was enough to cause him trouble as he pulled himself up to his feet.

The medical cadet gave him a hypo spray that did help with the pain and quick treatment of his wound made it much easier to bare. The commander's orders brought him back to the present and he tapped his comm badge.

"Engineering, I hope you've started to make some headway with repairs ... if you require additional help, I would be happy to attend you," David said briskly, still fingering his injury.

Chris sits back down into the helm chair waiting for the ship to get back under way. In 10 minutes he got the ship[s engines back up to power but shields, weapons, and long distance comm is still out. Chris swore under his breath. He pressed a button on the the Helm board to get the ship up to 1.5 warp enough speed till the ship is back under way.

Chris taped his comm =^= Captain we have 1.5 Warp. But the Shields, Weapons, and long distance comm is out.=^= Chris heard the comm switch on from the captain. =^=Good Cadet continue to update me ever 20 minutes.=^=

Chris check how long it would take them to get to the planet the captain wanted them to and it was 12 hours on current warp. and Chris being the only Nav cadet had to stay here.

He reached deck 8 and began to look around for her. He saw a few bodys only one was starfleet. It was Jordan, he imedettly checked her pulse, she was alive he was really relived.[/glow]

Chris turned to teh Captain. "Captain most weapons are back online and I have full control of the system and the rest of the ship should be coming back online now that we have 39% power and 4.5 warp now." Chris said.

Without an answer from Engineering, David hobbled his way back to his console and began looking over the scan results.

"Sir, the Arcturan ships are pursuing us and are charging their weapons," David said, "They are gaining and will have us in optimum range in less than five minutes. Also, the systems core is no longer running red ... I advise caution; however, I've put all excess power into the shields."

"Oh, amabassador, I didn't see you there. Welcome to the bridge. Is there anything we can do for you?" He said hoping to help her if need be.

“Actually I wanted to see if I could do anything,” Adislo replied softly. “The ship seems to be falling apart, and I don't have any engineering experience, but I do know enough to know that's not generally a good thing.” Adislo smiled slightly at him, hoping there would be something she would be able to do to help.

Before she had a chance, pirates started storming the bridge. “Do you have an extra phaser?” Adislo asked the nearest Starfleet personnel. They handed it over without a word, and Adislo took it. “Thanks,” she replied, already checking that it was set on stun before aiming it at a pirate. She only took out one more after that before they were all gone. “What was that about?” she asked the man next to her that had taken control of the bridge.
