Cyle looked over at the Asian woman next to him, she was clenching and unclenching her fists continuously. He knew she wanted to fight, and looking at the determination in her eyes, he also knew she and the captin had been together for many travels.
" What ever you choose to do, i'll be beside you"

Roz saw the look in Xin-Ling's eyes and smiled inside. She was going to give some Amazons a run for their money.
Roz: Xin-Ling, we can't out match them this way, we're too outnumbered. However, there may be a way to get TJ back safely. We need to go through an Amazon challenge.
<tag: Xin-Ling>
Roz then ran around the back of the large group of Amazons and pulled out her sais. Her eyes were green, starting to border on yellow, and she cheered when she saw Draco disappear with the blade. That should buy us a bit of time,[/color] she thought. An Amazon turned around and spotted her, giving a yell of outrage and surprise. She charged Roz, who turned the blades backwards in her hands and knocked the Amazon unconscious quickly. A few more charged her and she battled them off, killing none but subduing them all. She could see the Amazon queen glaring down at her and Roz thought, Don't push your luck.
Roz: I don't want to kill any warriors your majesty but I will kill if I have no choice.

Cyle looked on as Roz faught with the Amazons. He cheered internally, then stopped when he saw a lone Amazon coming from Behind Roz. He jumped up and tackled her, knocking her sword from her hands.
"what kind of coward are you?" Cyle called out to the Amazon as he held her down, a knee in her throat. Letting up on the pressure alittle, He listened as she struggled to breath
"Release me Male, so i may end your life" Cyle rolled his eyes, and backhanded her, knocking her out. He stood up and grabbed her sword. Standing behind Roz, he looked at her. "well, your the boss, what do we do now?"
<Roz>
Cyle nodded , as if Roz were his own Amazonian queen. Cyle kinda understood how royal type people thought. Even if this Amazon hated men, Cyle hoped she would see Roz was in charge of him, thus creating a Queen like profile towards Roz.

It was done, the repairs to the Hepta had finally been completed and they were now under way. Hopefully they would find the amazon's home planet quickly. Paikea knew that if the other rescue teams found the planet. They would already be engaging them in battle.
Paikea tried his hardest to find the ion trail left by the shuttles and the amazon's ship, and luckily he found it quickly. The Hepta would arrive in a matter of minutes.
"Commander O'Connor, can we go down to the planet to help out the resuce teams?" Paikea asked.
"Yes you can cadet, along with the remaining securtiy officers," O'Connor said.
A couple of minutes later
"We are approaching the planet," the helmsman reported.
"Well cadet go meet the security officers and once your ready beam down and help them," Commander O'Connor said. Paikea quickly secured his station and left the bridge. He was not a security person, but he felt that he must do something.
"Cadet are you hear to help us out?" the Lt. asked as he was prepping his weapons.
"Yes sir," Paikea said as he started preparing his phaser and and his hand to hand combat weapons.
"Commander O'Connor we are ready," Paikea reported as he stood on the transporter padd," Paikea said.
"Okay, Cadet you have a go," O'Connor said and the next minute Paikea and the security team were down on the planet. Paikea quickly saw Commander Chan who was awaiting for something to happen.
"Commander, the Hepta has arrived and we are you backup," Paikea said as the other security personal took their positions.
"What do you want us to do?"

”I am not familiar with ‘Amazon challenge’, Roz,” whispered the petite officer, “but if it mean saving Captain Edwards, I am for it. Briefly, what is ‘Amazon challenge’?” After a two or three sentence explanation, Xin-Ling was ready to move out to face the Amazons.
Turning to the Marine cadets with them, she said, “Gentlemen, prepare for action.”
“Whatever you choose to do, I'll be beside you.” Xin-Ling could see the same determination she first saw in Captain Edwards when they had been captives on the Breen vessel years ago; she liked Cyle’s response, and countered, “Good. We will need you.” The next instant, just before she was going to enter the field of battle, Roz moved out with her sais.
Xin-Ling was not going to let her fight alone. However, before she could move to action, another voice was heard.... "Commander, the Hepta has arrived and we are your backup," Paikea said as the other security personal took their positions.
"What do you want us to do?" ”Roz is leader on this team. She is planning on Amazon challenge. For now, we subdue Amazons but do not take their lives, if possible. Follow lead of Roz.
“Let’s go!” she said to all there.
Xin-Ling knew that with adversaries such as these, who had been trained almost from the cradle in the arts of war, every advantage must be pressed. She noted there was just sufficient space for a running entry, and so backed up slightly and, running to gain velocity, catapulted into the air with a forward flip and landed, feet spread wide, just at the edge of the battle arena. Nearby Amazons noted her entry, but as she carried no visible weapons, they did not give her much attention, considering her little more than a minor annoyance.
What could a tiny, unarmed girl from the men’s world do against any of their magnificently trained fighters?
Still, what happened next made their blood run cold, and for the briefest of instants, the fighting ground to a halt in response, for out of this “tiny, unarmed girl” issued forth a terrifying sound, the war-cry of Xin-Ling – the same cry that sounded in the Breen vessel; the same cry that split the air at the holographic battle with Diana the Terrible. Yet this time, there was added to it an additional element of rage. Shivers ran down many a spine as the battle-cry of the petite Asian Warrior sounded.
The battling had stopped only for an instant, then resumed with ferocity. To the side, Roz felled another Amazon warrior, while another came at a run toward Xin-Ling, uttering her own cry of rage.
Leaning only slightly back, her feet planted in a parallel with the Amazon’s advance, Xin-Ling’s arms were at the ready, her right hand near its shoulder, and the left extended, elbow slightly bent, towards her approaching enemy. Both hands were open, fingers slightly curved, ready to strike at the window of opportunity. Her face was expressionless, unreadable by friend and foe alike, as she stood as still as a statue.
The advancing Amazon was nearly upon her now, drawing back her mace to end the Asian’s life, but as she swung it with an irresistible force, Xin-Ling’s head and torso went far back, while at the same she turned to her right, and her foot, with speed that could not be seen, came crashing onto the Amazon’s patella, and the shock of the breakage brought the tall warrior woman to her side, clutching her knee in pain.
To the west of the fallen Amazon, one of the enemy saw her fallen sister, and came at the Asian Warrior with drawn sword.
Xin-Ling turned to face this new opponent, her hands at her sides. Suddenly, with incredible swiftness, her right hand went up, and from her hand came the sound of a whoosh!, and the Amazon fell, face forward, to the ground as Xin-Ling’s dart buried itself deeply into her leg.
Seeing one of the enemy approaching Roz silently from behind as she was engaged in conflict with another Amazon, Xin-Ling turned her attention to the surreptitiously approaching warrior. She had to reach her before the woman could strike Roz from behind, and so ran towards them.
But yet another Amazon leapt in Xin-Ling’s pathway with drawn sword, prepared to cut down the Asian in the midst of her run.
“You fight with the males?” the Amazon said contemptuously. “Then die with them!”
“Not today!” Xin-Ling answered as she deftly twirled under the swinging blade, barely stopping her forward advancement, then applied a back kick to the Amazon’s waist from behind, sending her sprawling in the dirt.
The creeping Themiscryan was getting sooo close to Roz, and was raising her knife to strike from behind at the instant Xin-Ling had yet fifteen feet to go. Quickly, still running, she pulled out her nunchuka and flung it so that the loose club struck the knife hand of the attacker, and she dropped the blade. Turning swiftly discover the source that had injured her hand and forced her to drop her knife, the Amazon now faced the Asian Warrior, who had come to a stop, now with left hand extended toward the Amazon, and the nunchuka in her left, the unheld club secured, ready for use, under her right arm.
Again, like a statue, Xin-Ling watched her opponent, waiting on her to make the first move. Tag... Roz and all Starfleet cadets

“Let’s go!” she said to all there. Paikea understood his orders and did has he was told. As soon as the Amazons saw him they ran to meet him in battle. It didn't really surprise him, but he was ready. Before they could get any closer Paikea stunned them and they fell to the ground knocked out. It would of worked if there wasn't so many of them, so soon enough Paikea was fighting hand to hand.
Paikea was so greatful that he knew martail arts or he would of been killed in a matter of seconds.
"You shall die, male, how dare you come to our sacred ground," a angry amazon said. Paikea smiled and kicked the women down, before she could do anything else. As he took care of that Amazon, Paikea didn't notice that another one was behind him and before he could do anything she stabbed him with his knife. The pain was unbearable, but Paikea kept on fighting and hit the women in the midsection and then kicked her hard so that she flew a couple of feet away from him.
Paikea quickly put his hand on his stomach and sure enough there was blood there. Paikea winced in pain as he moved, but he was here for a purpose and it was not done yet.
Paikea then saw the Captain lying on an altar of some sort and he was going to go help him, but Paikea heard a cry from one of the security officers. The security officer had fallen dead, a sword stuck in his stomach.
"NOOOOOOOOOOO," Paikea screamed as he hurried to help his fellow crewmate. The Amazon just laughed and attacked Paikea. Paikea became enraged and fought unfarily and quickly. The Amazon was quickly beaten and Paikea went to the others forgetting all about the Captain.

Joan and her teacher realize they have been boarded, and she wonders if the crew has caught up with her yet. She hopes no one realizes she is here, and wonders what will happen if and when they do. They both rush to where the action is taking place, and sure enough the crew is here fighting the Amazons, then she notices the captain laying on a table. She didn't expect this. She grabs for a weapon, and finds nothing in her grasp. Instead she goes to protect the captain, and realizes he notices she is there. She ignores him for the time being, and then finds a way to get him out, without the Amazons guessing what happened. She notices the Amazons fighting the crew are losing this battle.
"Go help our sisters, as they need you, and I will guard him from them." She says, and they all go down to get rid of the unwanted visitors. She watches the scene making sure she isn't needed in this battle.
Riz finds they have caught up with the Amazon ship, and the captain, and monitors her station just in case they have a battle.
Lt. Johnson just nods in answer to Anderson's question, and then makes sure to monitor her half of the station, ordering Anderson to monitor the other half, telling her that things could get complicated with a battle.

Roz heard something behind her and saw Xin-Ling fell an Amazon that had been coming up behind her. She only had time to smile before joining back in the fight. There was a whoosh in the air and a mace came flying past Roz's head. She ducked easily but felt her eyes go yellow and she dispatched of the Amazon with a kick to the gut then bringing her leg around and kicking her in the back, sending her sprawling to the ground. Roz was slowly making her way towards TJ and the queen when she heard a yell behind her and saw a crewman go down from a stabwound. She was suddenly hit from behind and she fell onto the grass. She heard a voice snarl.
Amazon: Artemis will be pleased to see you tortured in Tartarus.
At those words and at seeing another crewman go down from a wound, something inside Roz's mind snapped. Her eyes went white and blond streaks appeared in her hair. She waited as she heard the axe start to swing down, grabbing her sais, then she rolled onto her back and kicked herself onto her feet. The axe came harmlessly down into the grass and Roz drove a sai up into the woman's ribcage, piercing her heart and whispered in her ear.
Roz: Artemis should be ashamed of the likes of you.
She then pulled out the sai and the woman bled out. The other Amazons not yet engaged in battle stared at her then a few charged and she didn't want to but they had crossed her line and now that she was in her top level, there would be no coming out of it until the fighting stopped. She killed those that attacked her with speed that they couldn't match. She kept making her way to the mound where TJ was being held and she had almost reached it when she heard a whizz and caught the blade thrown in protection of the queen. Roz made it to the mound and managed to keep herself from killing anymore. She forced herself back down to her lower levels, her eyes settling on green and she looked at the queen.
Roz: There is an easier way to settle this than having both our sides go at it like animals and suffer innumerable casualties.
Andromache: There is no way you can win. You are outnumbered.
Roz: I know the Amazons aren't bloodthirsty to the point where they would kill fellow sisters that are just as skilled as your warriors your majesty. I ask for just one thing, an Amazon challenge. You choose the opponents and the tests.

Cyle stood back as Roz fought with an intensity of, well an angry woman. Cyle shook his head and left to engage himself with battle. He saw Paikea being surrounded, and rushed over to help him.
William got to him first, apparently with some kind of medical emergency pack. "William, take care of him, I'll protect you
<William, Paikea>
OFF: in this part, i included numbers for each amazon, surrounded by ( ), so you know which is which
Cyle stood in front of Paikea and William, his sword pointed down to wards the ground, as 5 Amazons circled around to his front. Cyle looked at the faces of each woman in front of him, and charged forward a few feet.
Two Amazons(1, 2) met his charge, both swinging high, Cyle ducked and swung his sword at an Amazon(3) behind the other two. The Amazon(3) blocked, and was dealt a kick to the stomach. Cyle turned around and blocked an axe blade from one of the first Amazons(2). The other Amazons (4, 5) ran forward, one Amazon(4) knocked Cyle to the ground with a kick to the chest, while the other (5) swung down at his head with her axe.
Cyle rolled away, and flipped himself up to his feet. The 5 Amazons now stood in front of him again, one holding her side. Cyle looked around for a moment, then rushed forward again. Ducking a swing from one (5) he swung at her leg, slicing her calf muscle. She cried out in pain and fell to the ground. Another Amazon(3) swung wildly with her mace, and Cyle side stepped, stabbing her in the side. She fell on top of the other Amazon(5) and lay dead.
The remaining three Amazons (1,2,4) rushed forward, The closest Amazon(2) raised her sword up and swung down, Cyle blocked and sliced her stomach, killing her. The one on the left (1) swung sideways at Cyle, cutting his arm, he then kicked at her, and smashed her head with the hilt of his sword, killing her. The remaining Amazon(4) took her chance and punched at Cyle, hitting him in his jaw, stunning him for the moment.
Cyle lay on the ground as the Amazon raised up her axe, and brought it down, attempting to smash Cyle's skull. Cyle quickly pulled up his sword, and stabbed her in the stomach. Cyle moved away as she fell, and stood up to find 3 more Amazons running at him and the other two.
"Paikea, can you fight?
<tag Paikea>
"William, i need you to stay out of this one, we may need some more healing of yours

Nor did she have to wait long. Slowly, deliberately, the tall warrior released an ax from its sheath at her back, carrying it in her uninjured hand. Slowly, she reduced the distance between herself and the small wildfire that stood motionless before her.
The Amazon warrior’s hand holding the battle-ax near the end of its handle, she spun the head in a circular motion as she approached. Saying never a word, Xin-Ling responded by deftly flashing the nunchuka around her head and shoulders, around her back, alternately switching the club she held from the one on the right side of the chain connection to the one on the left, and back again. Her moves were flawless, and you could hardly see the path the nunchuka took as it orbited around her body like electrons around a nucleus.
Suddenly, Xin-Ling stopped again, ever facing her opponent, the club secured again under her arm. Her intentions were unreadable.
“You have choice,” Xin-Ling warned the taller woman. “You can back away, I hurt you no further. You keep coming, you be on ground soon. What you choose?”
“I choose your death, agent of Hades!” responded the furious woman. And she swung at the Asian Warrior.
As she swung, however, Xin-Ling dropped to one knee, and, as a result, the ax swung harmlessly over her head. As it did, the loose club sailed forward, striking the Amazon in her rib cage, forcing her to drop her weapon.
The movements of the petite Asian warrior were naught but a blur, impossible to follow with the eye. One instant she was ready to attack, the next, she had already struck. Back on her feet, the Asian moved in, hip to upper thigh with the Amazon, grasped her sleeves, placed her leg around the back of the larger woman’s knee, and forced her backward, which sent her off-balance, falling over Xin-Ling’s leg placement. The next instant, the Amazon was looking up at Xin-Ling from the ground.
She did not look long, however, since the petite warrior dropped to one knee beside her, driving her fist into the Amazon’s solar plexus, then followed with a karate chop across the woman’s throat above the larynx. The warrior on the ground struggled for breath a few times, then passed out.
Xin-Ling knew she would be unconscious for at least half an hour, and so stood, looking for her next opponent.
She did not have long to wait. Cyrene, who had taunted Captain Edwards while he was locked up in Warbird’s brig, faced off against the tiny Asian.
Now Cyrene was skilled with the sword, among her many other martial talents, and well-respected by her sisters. Many men had ended their lives at the blade of her sword, or under her mace, or trampled under hooves of the horse she rode, and Cyrene was determined this time she would add more blood as she faced the formidable Asian.
Once again, the same war-cry escaped Xin-Ling’s lips, and she ran with top speed toward the dangerous Amazon. Six feet before contact, Xin-Ling kicked, and flying feet first towards her opponent, sent her sprawling backward, her sword left behind.
Suddenly, from behind, she heard the whistling of an airborne missile, then felt a sharp shaft pierce into her back. Slowly, she fell to her knees, then prone on the ground.

TJ was bound on the altar, but by twisting a bit, he could actually see much of what was happening.
Forgetting for the moment his own plight, he yearned for the safe outcome for his crew and for his friends. He could hear Paikea's scream of protest, and knew that someone would not see the Hepta again. Tears filled his eyes for the casualties that Hepta would suffer tonight.
He could hear the noise of battle, and see most of the fray, except that which was toward the side of the altar on which his head was resting. He saw Roz fighting, then heard Xin-Ling's battle cry. Two magnificent warriors there to rescue him. Others there to assist in the rescue. Hope stirred a little, despite the overwhelming numbers against the rescue party.
Then he saw something else. Something that shocked him, and caused a flood of conflicting emotions. He was confused, and didn't know whether to give in to the fury that rose now, or to the conflicting sorrow that met and wrestled with it.
He saw Joan McCormick, not in Starfleet uniform, but wearing a garment very much like those of the Themiscryans, though it was a non-military issue, more similar to the ancient Greek chiton. He saw her conversing with Andromache, who seemingly was now friendly with her.
Could it be true? Had this woman turned her back on Starfleet, and on the Federation? Did she now espouse the cause of the enemy? Words – ugly words – rose in TJ's mind as he tried to shake them off, unwilling to believe what he clearly saw. Words like "traitor", "treachery", and "treason". If he was only wrong! If he was only misunderstanding!
Still, there she was... with the enemy. Tears at the death of loyalty fell down to his temples, making their way into his hair as he lay defenseless on the sacrificial altar.

Paikea tried to ignore the pain that he was feeling, but it was just to much. Paikea fell to the ground unable to move. He then quickly saw five Amazons circle in around in him. He knew that this was it, he was going to die. At least its in battle Paikea thought. Then out of nowhere William appeared next to him.
"William get out of here, get away from these women," Paikea yelled to no avail. William just got out his medkit and started to heal the backwound. Automatically Paikea felt a bit better, but he knew that he couldn't go against these women. Luckily for both of the Cyle made the scene. He stood in front of them and was poised to fight.
"William, take care of him, I'll protect you" Paikea didn't like Cyle's chances. Yes he had been an [word deleted] to him when they met, but he had become a member of their crew and he felt obligated to help him. Paikea tried to stand, but William stopped him tellimg him that he was no use to anyone dead.
"I guess your right," Paikea said sitting back down, but not before he took the sword he had been fighting with just in case anyone came in from behind them. Paikea quickly realized why Cyle was a marine cadet. he kicked the amazons butts. They fell dead their bodies sliced into pieces or heads destroyed with the blunt force of the sword.
"You die," Paikea quickly heard from behind him. It was two Amazon women coming for them. William quickly stood up and went on the attack, but he couldn't deal with both of the. So Paikea stood up, feeling less pain and went on the attack.
"Face me you Amazon," Paikea said angrily branishing his sword so it shined in the air. The women just sneered and said.
"My Goddess Artemis, will guide my sword." Paikea having studied the Amazon's knew that Artemis was thier patron goddess, but he also knew that Artemis was an enemy of Posiden.
"Posiden will drown your spirit and you will die under my sword," Paikea said in response, which did its attended effect. The women became enraged and attacked. Paikea was ready for this and quickly jumped foward and kicked her in her chest which caused her to fly at least ten feet away. She got up slowly and attacked again swinging her sword. Paikea blocked her attacks with his sword at every angle, but it was time to finish it. So Paikea quickly hit her with his elbow which stunned her for a second and went behind her body and pierced his sword into her body.
"Say hello to Hades." Paikea said as he took the sword out of her body and quickly made his way to help William, but he had already taken care of that Amazon.
"Paikea, can you fight? Paikea smiled realizing that he was too busy fighting with the other's to see them fight.
"Yeah I can," Paikea said as he quickly went to Cyle's side. Both of them surveyed the area and saw a platoon of Amazons heading their way.
"Do you want to?" Paikea asked smiling. It was a stupid question, already knowing the answer.
"Lets go, I get the five on the right and you get the 5 on the left," Cyle said. Paikea agreed and met his five in battle.
OFF: Just like Cyle I'll be using the () to tell who I'm fighting with.
These women were fresh and that was not lookin good for Paikea, but that really didn't matter.
"Only you against us, male," Amazon (1) said laughing, whcih caused the remaining women to laugh as well.
"Yeah well it takes cowards to go against anyone in battle five to one," Paikea said hoping that he tapped into their warrior pride.
"Agreed, you will face us each separtley," Amazon (3) said, showin that she wanted to go first. She quickly made a battle cry and came towards Paikea, which he wasn't expecting. She caught him with her sword on his thigh, which burned like crasy.
"At least you bleed the same blood that we bleed," Amazon (3) said. Paikea was ready for the next attack and quickly blocked it again and again. After a few goes with Amazon (3), Paikea fell down to the ground. The Amazon very quickly was hovering over him. Paikea didn't know if he could jump in his current position, but he decided that he had to give it a chance. So in position he quickly kicked the Amazon(3) in the stomach which sent her a couple of feet in the air and he jumped from the ground to kick her once again. His kick found its mark and he heard Amazon's (3) neck snap in half. Paikea landed on his feet while the dead Amazon landed dead.
This caused two Amazon's to come forward at him. Paikea realized that they looked exactly like (3), they were triplets. So (2), and (5) rushed at him, but this time Paikea was prepared and he gave out a battle cry that stopped everyone in the camp for a second to see where it was coming from. That second was enough to get the upper hand, as Paikea did a front flip onto the (2) where he got her head in the middle of his feet. He quickly twisted them and broke her neck. At the same time, Paikea took his sword, and threw it into the (5). (5) fell to the ground dead joining her sister on the ground.
Paikea took his sword out of the (5) and was ready for the other two. By now Paikea was covered in blood, dark read blood. Which was making his uniform very heavy. So he quickly chuncked off his vest and once again was ready to battle.
(1) came at Paikea quick and fast. She quickly got his sword out of his hands. Which made Paikea weaponless, but that didn't matter he would continue to fight on. As (1) continued her attack Paikea escaped them, narrowly at best. He then found his chance. In the few minutes that they had been battleling, Paikea picked up her fighting form. He could tellt hat (1), dropped her hands to get levarge every time she was going to attack. So Paikea waited for it and then kicked the sword high up in the air. This caught her off guard and Paikea attacked with all his martail arts training. He quickly broke her right leg, and then her collar bone. As the sword came down, Paikea took it and threw it at the unsuspecting (4). She just looked at him and fell to the ground dead. At that very moment, Paikea took (1) neck and broke it.
Paikea had been ordered not to kill any of the Amazons, but he found the order to be absurd in this situation. He had just killed five of them, not because he wanted to, but because if he didn't they would kill him.
Paikea picked up his sword and joined Cyle in the fight.
"Aren't you done already?" Paikea asked jokingly.
"No, you got the easy ones," Cyle said as he killed the last remaining Amazon. They both stood there, covered in blood. Some of it was theres, but most of it was the people they had just killed. The horrors of war, Paikea thought as Cyle and himself headed towards the Captain.
They were about five meters away from the Captain when they were stopped by three Amazons. Paikea nodded at Cyle and he rushed in foward attacking. Paikea jumped over them all and headed towards the Captain.
"Captain Edwards," Paikea said," just wait a moment I'll try to get you free."
"Oh no you don't," an Amazon said over to his right. Paikea picked up his sword and fought the women. In a matter of seconds Cyle and Paikea were surrounded.
"So what are we going to do now?" Paikea asked.

"Oh no you don't, not as long as I am here, and I wouldn't plan on escaping any time soon either. Amazons needed over here!" Joan says as Paikea goes toward the captain, then he gets a sword as soon as he sees her. She laughs, pulling a sword out as well. He comes at her with the sword raised, and she deflects his shot. Suddenly her new friends surround both cadets.
"So, what do you plan to do now, cadets?" She says glad to have the upper hand.
Riz scans, and finds a few weaknesses in the Amazon ship's shields. She reports what she finds, and hopes it helps to return her captain to them.
Lt. Johnson hears the report, and wonders what they might do. Suddenly she things about how they might need power for phasers and the such.
"Cadet, report." She says wondering what might be happening on the cadets end.

Katie watched earlier as Paikea and several bridge crew members volunteered to head up the rescue mission. Katie wanted to volunteer, but since she didn't have any fighting experience she decided to stay at her station.
After the Hepta finished it's check on the damaged Klingon ship they followed the warp trail of the rescue teams shuttle crafts. The Hepta didn't travel very long before the trail ended at a large blue planet.
=^=Cadet Paikea to Hepta=^=
=^=Hepta here=^=
=^=Ma'am we need more people on this end and I mean now, send some help,=^=
=^=Understood=^=
Paikea hoped that reinforcement came quickly or they were not going to survive.
Several more guards came to the bridge to ask for volunteers and this time Katie stood up and went with them down to the planet. During the quick briefing in the transporter room Katie was given a phaser and a phaser rifle. The weapons were set on stun, but the ranking Marine officer suggested they be reset to kill.
The second team beamed down to the planets surface in close proximity to the sacrificial alter. Katie's heart was beating a million miles an hour as she saw the other members of the away team start running towards the amazons. Katie looked down at the ground, gained her courage and began to follow the away team.
Once the team got into range they set up a firing line, three standing officers, and three officers firing from their knees.
The Marine officer counted down, "3, 2, 1, Fire!"
Katie's training took over as she and the other officers opened fire at the backs of the amazon warriors. Several amazons were vaporized instantly, others began to run towards Katie and her rescue team.
"Fire at will." The Marine officer ordered.
All six officers began firing but suddenly realized the amazons wore some sort of adaptive personal shielding devices. Katie pulled out her phaser and began firing at the approaching amazons. The phaser had no effect.
In the distance Katie noticed Paikea and Cyle had helped out the Captain and were starting to chase the amazons.
"Spread out." Yelled the Marine officer.
Katie began running to try and get around the on coming amazons but it was no use, Katie was cut off by a single amazon. Katie petite size was amplified by the large physique of the amazon woman. Katie knew she was no match for the trained warrior and began to slowly backpedal. The amazon began to charge, Katie braced herself for the impact as she swung her phaser rifle wildly towards the amazon.
The rifle shatterned into pieces upon impact. The amazon woman fell to the ground but quickly rose to her feet.
In the distance Katie could hear Paikea yelling out to her. Katie tried several times to move around the amazon, but all her efforts were matched. Katie could still head Paikea yelling to her as he ran as fast as he could with a sword in hand. Making one last move Katie tried to fake left and head off to the right, the amazon woman was ready for the move and grabbed Katie by her jacker with her left hand and thrusted a knife into Katie's abdomen.
The amazon woman brought Katie closer to her face and whispered into her ear before tossing Katie onto the ground. Just as Katie was out of reach of the amazon a large blade penetrated the amazon woman's torso. She struggled for a second before falling to her knees. Paikea twisted the blade to make sure the woman wasn't going to get up. Paikea then rushed over to check on Katie.

It was evident that the probability of their survival was slim to none. It didn't matter that both Cyle and Paikea had just beaten a platoon of Amazon's. Paikea was good at fighting, but he wasn't a god. They were going to loose this fight, but if they did they would go in a blaze of glory. It sounded pretty ironic to Paikea's ears, if he was a Klingon he would cherish the prospect of death in battle, but he was not and he was very mortally afraid. It didn't show on the outside, but inside his body was telling him to run for cover and save his own life. This of course would never happen, he wouldn't leave his crew mates to die. "Lets do this," Paikea motioned to Cyle and now William who had picked up a sword waiting to fight. <Tag Cyle, William>"Fire" Paikea wasn't sure if he had heard correctly but the next second the orange glow of plasma beams could be seen vaporizing many of the Amazon women. Paikea quickly looked around and saw a squad of security officers and who he could tell was Katie. They once again fired onto the group of women, but this time their technology adapted to the blast and half of the women left charged the security team. "Spread out" The order was given for everyone to take offensive positions, but to be honest Paikea really didn't know what that meant. He just fought like his gut told him and didn't use strategies. He also feared for Katie, he knew that she was a tough cookie, but she was nothing compared to these women. They could and would kill you in an instant. Paikea and Cyle quickly made their way towards the Captain and tried to help him. Paikea could only break his feet shackles before an amazon stopped him. Luckily for him Cyle took over as Paikea desperatley tried to get to Katie's side, but found that task impossible at the moment. Another Amazon stood between him and her. Paikea took his sword and went back into battle. Much to Paikea's dismay this one was much better than the other he had encountered. She was fierce, strong, and determined. Worse of all Paikea's head wasn't in it. As he was fighting her he was yelling at Katie to get away from the Amazon that was closly making her way towards her. "You shall die man, for everthing you have done to my sisters," the women said. "Look just shut up and fight," Paikea said angry that this was all they thought about. Paikea's sword once again clanked against her's in the heat of battle. Paikea couldn't see any way that he could beat this women. He could tell that if he didn't finish this quickly he would see Katie die on this battlefield today. That thought refortified Paikea and he was determined to beat this women. That thought also cost him, because at that very moment her sword met up with his body. The cold steel burned his stomach. Luckily for Paikea it only brushed up on his body. Paikea decided to make the swords a none issue as he threw it to the floor. The Amazon accepted the challenge and shoved her sword to the ground. The hand to hand combat was one that could rival any competetion that Paikea had ever been in. Paikea was at a disadvantage since he was already hurt, but he could see that it didn't matter. The Amazon had also been hurt recently. They were evenly matched and Paikea couldn't do anything to get things in his favor. The opening came when she slipped on some spilled blood. Paikea quickly saw this and side kicked her in the torso and then followed with a low kick to her left thigh, which caused her to fall to the floor. Paikea quickly tried to attack again with kick to the face, but she blocked it and hit him with a flurry of punches and kicks. Paikea recovered quickly, but the attack continues which luckily for him he was able to block. Paikea looked around and saw his way out. A few meters away from where they were fighing Paikea saw a stack of spears pointed outward instead of up. They must have fallen to that position during the battle. "You know what you have been the best fight I have ever had," Paikea said. "What are you talking about?" the amazon said. "Oh its just that your queen has just fallen in battle," Paikea said pointing in a random direction. Those last words had the wished affect. She looked away for a second and Paikea acted. He kicked her in the abdomen with all his might and she flew forward into the spears. She gave out a icy scream of defeat which momentarily froze everyone into submission. Paikea was the only one that did not freeze up, he had something to do and that was save Katie. But to Paikea's horror he saw the Amazon thrust a knife into Katie's abdomen. Paikea screamed in anger and worry as he saw Katie's stomach gush dark red blood. Paikea was already running towards her but he just couln't get there fast enough. Once he got there he quickly took his sword and rushed into the women's torso. The women's face was one of disbelief. How could this worthless man have beaten me in battle? It didn't matter because the next moment she was dead. Paikea qucikly went to Katie's side and checked her injury. It was a serious wound and it kept on gushing blood. "Why didn't you run away?" Paikea asked as he quickly took the knife out of her stomach. This action brought a shrill scream out of Katie, but she still responded. "What and let you guys have all the fun," Katie said coughing up blood. "Yeah you should of let us do all this Katie," Paikea said as he quickly did some first aid to her wound. Paikea could admit that Katie was very special to him, more special than any other girl he had ever met. He was franticallly looking for her combadge, but saw that it was nowhere in sight. Paikea quickly quickly picked up the combadge of the dead security officer next to them. =^=Paikea to Hepta=^= =^=Hepta here=^= =^=Tranpsport the person on this combadge directly to sickbay=^= =^=Acknowledged=^= In a second Katie's bloodied body disappeared. Paikea quickly stood up, but fell again. Paikea's hand quickly went to his stomach as he felt the blood. Paikea fell forward not knowing if he was going to die on this battlefield. Off: I'm I dead. Someone please save me, please.

Roz saw a familiar face among the Amazons and gasped. It was Joan McCormick. Roz felt the pure rage within her blaze again but she forced it down. Joan smiled smugly at the position that the cadets and Roz had been put in. After Paikea sparred for a moment with Joan and lost the sword he had been holding, Roz managed to keep control of her voice as she spoke.
Roz: Commander McCormick.
Joan: Roz.
Roz wanted to hurt her beyond anything imaginable but knew that TJ's and the cadets' and the rest of the rescue team's safety came first. She glared at Joan but didn't say another word.
Roz: Your majesty, there is no point in continuing this battle. Artemis has drunk enough blood for now.
She anxiously awaited the queen's answer but Joan answered first.
Joan: You have a lot of nerve holding weapons in the presence of the Amazon queen.
Roz turned the sais in her hands so the blades were resting against the insides of her arms. She kept her hands loose so she wouldn't cut herself and also so she could flip them around to fight and protect herself if needed. She heard the arrow come whizzing towards her and she didn't move in time so it grazed her arm. She hissed but didn't show any other signs of pain, not because she wanted to be tough so the queen would see her as an equal to her Amazons but because Roz's old instincts from when she was being "hunted" by her father were coming back to her. She thought to herself, Jason's going to be in for one heck of a surprise when she gets home, if she does that is. I might just kill her where she stands but she seems to have gotten in with the queen so I'll wait. Paikea went off to help Katie and an Amazon raised her arm to strike him but Roz moved fast enough to grab her arm and keep the blow from falling.
Roz: Let him pass and that is not a suggestion.
The Amazon wrenched her arm out of Roz's grasp and glared at her. Roz moved back to where she had been standing before, in front of the queen. She looked at her, her gaze not wavering, and waited for an answer.

OFF: i got your back there P-dog, well kinda
on:
"Lets do this," Paikea motioned to Cyle and now William who had picked up a sword waiting to fight. Cyle nodded in response, and started at the Amazons.
"Fire" Cyle looked around and saw a squad of security officers and who he could tell was Katie. They once again fired onto the group of women, but this time their technology adapted to the blast and half of the women left charged the security team.
"Spread out" Cyle heard one of the officers call out. and he watched as the Amazons left the three of them alone, to engage with the newcomers.
Paikea and Cyle quickly made their way to wards the Captain and tried to help him. Paikea could only break his feet shackles before an amazon stopped him. Luckily for him Cyle took over, and then stood over the captains body, holding hand out to him. Cyle saw in the captains eyes, that something was wrong, and Cyle stepped to side, to see the Amazon queen in front of him, brandishing a well crafted broad sword.
<Andromache>
"I will fight you till i die, woman" Cyle said stubbornly, and he raised his sword up. " Come and get some"
<Andromache>
Cyle had barely enough time to see the Captain running to the aid of who Cyle thought was Paikea, and then he was attacked by the Amazon queen.
OFF: i hope this doesn't change alot for anyone, just kinda came to mind some time

Joan notices the attention, and does what is needed for the time, feeling offended that someone would dare talk to her queen that way. She sees Cyle try to take on the queen and chuckles. There is no way he will be able to take on the great Andromache, so why does he want to try? She thinks smiling, and keeping an eye on Roz, just in case she tries anything funny. She sees the captain, and wonders how he got loose.
She continues to keep her position wondering what might come next.
Lt. Johnson finds her cadet disappeared when she turned her back, and isn't happy this wasn't discussed with her first. She takes over the station wondering when her student is coming back, and then hears the communication about a cadet, wondering if it is her cadet that is hurt. She puts it aside directing the call to sickbay, and continues to work like there is no tomorrow.
Riz keeps to herself, looking at her displays, being very pleased with the work, and how it has come along. She thinks the CEO, if we ever get her back, might be very pleased instead of like when they first met. She continues to look for ways to be helpful, and wonders if the ships are going to go to war over the captain.

OFF: Sorry I let this get beyond me... Let me see if I can “wrap up” some of the loose threads. ON: It seemed to Andromache, as she held her sword down at her side, a reasonable enough request. There was honor in what this misguided woman suggested, but Amazons are born to the battle, and her sisters were having ... fun.
“I will give what you ask consideration. If I feel merciful, I will grant it. For now, however...”
Out of the corner of her eye Andromache saw a man attempting to sneak up to the altar, approaching a bit behind her and to the right side. His eyes darted between the bound Irishman on the altar and the tall Amazon queen. His gaze at her was not without fear.
And the fear was well-placed. Nearly as fast as you could think, the War Queen moved, and her sword flung into action, burying itself deep into the navigation cadet who was attempting to loose the captain.
“... I have things to attend to,” Andromache completed her sentence, as if nothing had happened.
She then turned her attention to Joan, who had approached her from Roz’s right side. It did not take a debate to persuade Andromache to comply. She wanted to join in the slaughter. This was Amazon sport. Sadly, some of the enemy’s women had to die as well, but that couldn’t be helped. They had been duped into serving men, and, after their deaths, the Themiscryans would offer sacrifices for them to appease Artemis on their behalf. They were, after all, sisters as well. Misguided, but sisters nonetheless.
Andromache fought valiantly, and many fell under her broadsword that evening. As she later glanced back to the altar, she saw two Starfleet crewmen [Cyle and Paikea] make their way towards the altar and the Irishman bound upon it. She, within five passes with her sword, ended the life of her opponent, who fell to the ground beside a petite Asian Starfleet officer in a yellow-gold tunic with a small arrow in her back.
A groan escaped from the small Asian as she fought slowly, laboriously, back to consciousness. Andromache would have ended the life of the fallen warrior there, but instead decided to let her suffer as she proceeded on to the altar. ”Fight valiantly, then, male, and do not bore me with talk!” she scowled.
A smile curled the lips of the War Queen. She knew she could take him. Evenly matched they were, and this would be a glorious battle today.

Off: No one has saved me, lol. Well thanks it gave me a great idea for this time. There he was, running around the beach. Sand and water running through his feet, it was warm water that soothed the soul. The sky was barren from any white clouds and it reflected the beautiful sea under it. "Pai, come to lunch," a women in the distance yelled. Pai screamed back. "Yes mama." Pai ran to wards the sound of his mother. His beautiful, loving mother. Pai quickly recognized where they were, it was a beautiful secluded dune overseeing the beach. Only people from their village used it, so it was as pure as the day it was made. "What do you want to eat, Pai?" Mama asked her son as she checked her picnic basket. "I don't know mama, how about some groatcake with squill syrup," Pai said knowing that his mother would have his favorite dish. She quickly started looking for the food that Pai has just asked for. "Teleport." "What was that?" Paikea asked looking around the beach. "What was what Pai?" Mama asked. "That word," Pai said still looking for a person on the beach that could have said that. "Which one?" Mama asked. "Teleport," Paikea said. "Teleport, Pai your hearing things," Mama said laughing, "Eureka here we are." Mama said as she passed the groatcake to Pai. "50 cc of Inaprovaline." There it was again, that voice. Pai stood up in fear. "You did hear that right?" Pai asked his mother. "Hear what Pai?" Mama asked. "That voice, that voice mama," Paikea said," he said 50 cc of Inaprovaline." "Inaprovaline, Pai are you feeling well?" Mama asked as her palm came across Paikea's forehead, to feel if he was burning a fever. "No mama, I'm feeling well," Paikea said backing up from his mother. "I don't think so Pai," Mama said as she stood up, packing everything up. "Let's go Pai, lets go home." In Sickbay"He's flat-lining," the doctor said as he quickly checked Paikea's vitals. The sickbay was extremely full, but the critical injuries were taking first priority. Paikea's body was there bleeding out. The doctor was able to stop the bleeding, but that had caused the rest of Paikea's body to go into shock. "Doctor he won't make it," the nurse told the doctor that was helping him out. "Get me 10 cc of Tricordrazine," the doctor said with a frantic expression on his face. "Doctor that much tricordrazine can kill him," the nurse said. "I know, but it might be the only thing that will re-jump his heart," the doctor said. The nurse handed him the hypospray with hesitation, but once he got it he quickly applied it to Paikea's now cold body. "Beep, Beep, Beep," the monitor said signaling that Paikea was no longer flat-lineing. The doctor checked over Paikea's vitals again and patched him up. Paikea had survived his injury, but he was still in critical care.

"Fight valiantly, then, male, and do not bore me with talk!” she scowled.
"what is with you Amazons and your words? oy"
Cyle was actually having fun, he never imagined himself fighting to the death with an Amazonian Queen. " ready, or not, here i come.
" save your words male"
Cyle ran forward, his sword pointed down to the ground, he brought his sword up in a front slice. The queen stepped to the side and used his momentum against him, hitting his sword with a moderate amount of force, causing him to lose balance for a slight moment.
Cyle turned quickly and blocked an oncoming side swing. The Queen and he continued to battle for minutes at time, but Cyle was getting tired, he was not used to fighting this much, and it showed. his movement slowed, and reactions slowed, and his sword got heavier.
For the first time, Cyle was scared he might not make it, but he kept fighting, he would die with honor, if he died tonight

OFF: I'm going to assume that your post, Paikea involving sickbay was about the Hepta's sickbay in which case, there is an EMH and it is of the male gender but with a situation such as yours, Jordan would take charge.
ON: Jordan got down to the planet and saw the carnage from the battle.
Jordan: Ramoth's egg.
She first made her way to Katie, who had been stabbed and transported her immediately to sickbay. She told Draco to fly around the battle and alert her to any wounded he could find, whether they be Amazon or members of Starfleet. She didn't care whether the Amazons were their enemies or not, they didn't deserve to die if they could live. She told him, And be careful. I nearly lost ya once, I don't want that to happen again.[/i] Draco chirped and he flew off. Her mind was running on high speed and her instincts began to take over. She transported some Amazons up to sickbay, telling the officers that were still onboard what she had done and that they were to be watched and strapped down. Draco's thoughts suddenly came to her as he told her that he had found Xin-Ling and that she had been wounded. Jordan got to her feet and maneuvered her way towards Xin-Ling, using Draco to tell her where to turn. When she discovered that she had to enter the middle of the fray to get to Xin-Ling, her heart sank a bit but she pulled out her phaser and stepped into the battle. She avoided many Amazons, who were fortunately, otherwise occupied with other officers. She had almost reached Xin-Ling when she saw a tall woman standing near Xin-Ling. Jordan looked at Xin-Ling and saw an arrow protruding from her left shoulder and she waited for the woman to leave. Fortunately, she didn't have to wait long but before Jordan could reach Xin-Ling, an Amazon approached her. Jordan pointed her phaser and fired, but the Amazon moved fast enough that the fire hit another in the back and she crumpled on the ground, greatly stunned. Jordan saw the phaser as pointless and dropped it. She stood to her full height and found she was at eye level with the Amazon. Jordan put her hands up and the two women started circling around one another. The Amazon fortunately had no weapons in her hands which put them on semi-equal ground, as Jordan hadn't had much fighting experience. Jordan attacked first, aiming a kick at the woman's solar plexus. The woman grabbed Jordan's leg and twisted. Jordan jumped and spun with the force to prevent her ankle from snapping and landed on the ground on her back. She quickly got back on her feet and they started circling again. The Amazon then attacked, aiming a punch but Jordan dodged it and grabbed the woman's arm. She then slammed her elbow into the woman's face, the force breaking her nose. She then let go of the woman's arm and kicked her in the gut. The Amazon flew back a few feet before falling onto the ground on her back. When she stood up, blood was pouring out of her nose and mouth. A change seemed to come over the Amazon and she charged Jordan faster than Jordan could respond. She punched Jordan in the gut then brought her knee up, catching Jordan under the chin. Jordan flew up into the air and came down on her back, the wind being knocked out of her. Jordan tasted blood and put a hand to her lip. She pulled it away and saw blood on her fingers. She then licked her lower lip and found a split in it. She slowly got to her feet and made her hands into fists again, ready to keep fighting, though hoping that it wouldn't take too long as Xin-Ling was still on the ground with the arrow in her back. The Amazon started laughing and Jordan became confused though she didn't move or say anything. Draco suddenly told her that there was an Amazon pointing an arrow at her back, ready to fire. Jordan's expression didn't change but she felt a bolt of fear. Draco told her to wait for his signal and then duck and roll to her right, where her discarded phaser was lying on the ground. The Amazon suddenly stopped laughing and glared at Jordan.
Amazon: Die messenger of Hades.
Draco chirped and Jordan dropped and rolled to her right. The Amazon that had been pointing the arrow at Jordan's back fired and missed Jordan, catching the other Amazon in the gut. The woman fell dead to the ground and Jordan grabbed her phaser, pointed and fired at the bow carrying Amazon, killing her. Jordan then moved over to Xin-Ling and had her transported up to sickbay with the warning about the arrow in her back. She then saw a form on the ground that looked familiar and ran over to it. It was Paikea and he had grevious wounds on his legs and body. She needed to work on him immediately. She hit her combadge.
Jordan:=Mackler to sickbay= Two to beam directly to sickbay.
They disappeared from the battle and reappeared in sickbay. She immediately started giving orders, ignoring her own pain and bleeding lip.
Jordan:50 cc of Inaprovaline.
She scanned his body and found that his heart was starting to fail. She cursed mentally and pulled her hair back out of her face.
Jordan:He's flat-lining.
She looked around for a moment and saw that sickbay was extremely full, but the critical injuries were taking first priority. Paikea's body was there bleeding out. Jordan worked furiously to stop the bleeding and finally managed it but his body started to go into shock.
Nurse: Doctor, he won't make it.
Jordan knew that much already if she didn't get his heart going again.
Jordan: Get me 10 cc of Tricordrazine.
The nurse stared at her for a minute.
Nurse: Doctor that much tricordrazine can kill him.
Jordan: I know, but it might be the only thing that will re-jump his heart.
The nurse handed her the hypospray with hesitation, but Jordan immediately applied it to Paikea's quickly cooling body.
She scanned his body and found he had a heartbeat. He was no longer dead but he was still far from well and he would be weak for a long while when he did wake up. Jordan sighed and smiled. She then went back down to the planet to see who else she could save.
