After leaving the Commander's office Giga headed towards science lab2 before he went to the bridge he needed to load the probes into the launchers and then fire them from the bridge.
Once the probes were safely in the launchers Giga headed to the bridge and arrived just as the Hepta was dropping out of warp.
He manned the science station.
"Requesting permission to launch probe 1" Giga said to Commander Edwards.
"Granted Cadet." He said. Giga decided to bring up the sensor images he had already got and put on the main screen so every could see.
It was stunning, even an android could see that.
"Launching probe 1." Giga said.
A minute passed.
"Probe 1 has been succesfully launched and activated. We are already picking up sensor data." Giga said.
"Launching Probe 2." Giga said again.
Agian. The probe launch was succesful and data was being recieved.
"Launching the third and final probe." He said.
"Probe launch..." Giga started.
"Commander, We have a problem!" Giga said.
"Report Cadet!"
"The probe has been intercepted by something. An unknown object."
"We have lost contact with the probe." He finished.
"Yellow Alert" Commander Edwards said.

Off: Hey everyone. A thousand apologies for my long absence, but due to migraine, I have only been able to access my computer for the absolute minimum of time and after that I was so far behind with my life and other obligations that I've only now caught up. But I'm back now.
James had been monitoring the probes progress from his Ops station and when it suddenly disappeared, he had rerouted all available power to Engineering and Tactical. He had also immediately kicked in all auxiliary sensors to maximise sensor coverage. When the yellow alert came, he bolted upright and started scanning the entire area for signs of other ships or anomalies, thereby overriding Science. From the data he received, he gathered that Tactical was doing the same and he linked the two consoles to maximise cooperation between them.
"Sensors show nothing yet Commander," James said. "There's no sign of the probe and........wait.......lost contact with Probe 2 too." Commander Edwards walked over towards Tactical to take a look at the data himself and from the Ready Room, Captain One and Commander Penfold entered the Bridge. Penfold quickly took his place at the nearest Science station. "Report" One said, calmly observing the buzz of the officers who were trying to re-establish contact with the probes. Commander Edwards turned to him. "We've launched two probes Captain and we've lost contact with them exactly three minutes after they were launched. Sensors show nothing yet, but Ops, Tactical and Science are on it. Engineering is modifying the bandwith so we can scan along all frequencies."
In the mean time, James had contacted Engineering.
=^=O'Connor to Engineering=^=
=^=O'Dell here, go ahead Commander=^=
=Cadet, what's your progress on modifying the sensors?=^=
<TAG: O'Dell>
=^=Keep me posted, O'Connor out.=^=
James turned to Cadet giga. "Cadet, you said you detected a sensor ghost on the Bridge. Do you detect anything now? Anything that could be connected to our losing the probe?"
<TAG: Giga>
"Captain," Commander Chan interrupted Commander Edwards. "Sir, we're getting a faint signal. I'm not sure what it is yet....."
James turned to his console. "Confirmed Captain, it's definately mechanic. It could be our probe or another ship."

Giga was puzzled. Where had the probe gone? Being emotionless he felt no due concern however he was curious as to what had happened.
"Sensors before and after the probes were launched show no sensor ghost onboard the Hepta however when probe 3 was intercepted a brief sensor image flickered and then went completely - as if it were never really there. The sensor data showing this dissapeared as quickly as it came." Giga replied.

The main sensors were set up to gather information on the solar phenomenon in progress, and meantime Lydia had managed to gather enough power from various redundant sources to get the auxilliary sensor systems running to almost the same capacity. She was now in the process of setting the backup systems using what little data Giga could gather on the sensor ghost. Unfortunately it hadn't appeared for long enough to get a lot of information, but Lydia thought it likely that Giga had gathered more information than most could in the time. Ah, the advantages of being artificial.
With the help on several of the engineering staff, the cadet finally got the auxilliary sensor systems running and began scans, first of the ship then of the surrounding area. Just then Commander Stephens called her over to perform a few tasks, part of the actual training. It would be some time before the scans were complete so Lydia locked out the auxilliary sensor systems and set about the assigned jobs.
This was more like the Trill's expectations of the training mission. Sensor ghosts and disappearing probes had not been in the brochure. After realigning the port antimatter injector systems and taking a look at the force field generators in shuttlebay 2, Lydia returned to engineering to find the scans complete. She unlocked the system to retrieve some disturbing results. There were three anomolies on board, and a massive something, moving slowly near where the probes had disappeared.
With the approval of her instructor, Lyds headed for the bridge to talk to Captain ONE. Nervously she waited for the turbolift to reach its destination. It seemed to take forever but finally the doors parted to reveal the bridge. Taking a deep breath, the cadet stepped out and strode with somewhat acted confidence down towards the centre.
"Captain ONE," Lydia adressed the man seated between Commanders Edwards and Johnson.
"Ms Odell?"
"I have a rather unsettling report sir."
"In my ready room cadet. Mr Edwards." The captain led the way, followed by Cadet Odell and Commander Edwards. "Mr O'Connor, you have the bridge."
Once in the ready room, Captain ONE sat and gestured for the Trill to continue.
"Scans have been completed sir, I have found three sensor 'ghosts' on the ship, and something very large near to where we lost the probes. I cannot elaborate yet, but we do have some degree of tracking ability."

"In my ready room cadet. Mr Edwards." The captain led the way, followed by Cadet Odell and Commander Edwards. "Mr O'Connor, you have the bridge." "Aye Captain." James stood up an took a seat next to Commander Johnson in the Captain's Chair. A young Ensign took his Ops station. "Maintain all perimeter scans and report all anomalies" he said to no-one in particular, but he got confirmations anyway.
There was not much they could do except running scans at the moment. With a little luck, Cadet O'Dell's report would enable them to take action. James hated waiting when there were strange things about. By his very nature, he was not a very patient man and this waiting for sensor ghosts got on his nerves.
Cadet Giga was having the time of his life analysing all the available data. It occurred to James that it was kind of strange to attribute emotions to an android, but he could have sworn that a faint smile played on the Cadet's lips when he was reading through the endless stream of data on his screen.
"Any luck Mr Giga?" Cadet Giga looked up from what he was reading. "Not yet sir, but this stuff is facinating." He looked very eager to explain what was so fascinating, so Commander Johnson offered him an opportunity. "What's so fascinating?" Giga looked happier than a puppy getting a cookie. "Well Commander, it says here that between us and the anomaly, there are exactly 5 milion, threehundred and fortythousand particles of space dust which are affected by the star. They are whirling at an exact frequency of 200 miles an hour and the stream seems to be split in two. One half is pulled into the will-be-supernova at an exact speed of 175 miles an hour with a rotating frequency of nearly a thousand miles an hour, while the other half of the particles is drawn to the spot where our probe disappeared and they seem to be shifting in and out of fase at a frequency of 40.000 shifts a minute. Also," but James interrupted him at this point. "That's interesting indeed. Fase-shifting particles. Mr Giga, could you try to conceive a theory about what the hell is going on out there?"
The android looked at him quizzically. "Hell sir?" "It's a figure of speech Cadet." "Could you elaborate on that sir?" James looked at him and couldn't help but smile. Cadet Giga's reactions were so similar to the stories he had heard about Commander Data. This would be an interesting trip indeed. "The theory Mr Giga, we'll discuss figures of speech later."<TAG: Giga>The doors to the ready room slid open and the Captain and Commander Edwards re-entered the Bridge. James took his Ops station again. "So far nothing new to report Captain. Cadet Giga is working out a theory, but so far nothing significant has happened." <TAG: Everyone>

As the captain and TJ re-entered the Bridge, followed by Cadet Odell, the ensign at the Operations console gave a little whistle.
"Well! I'll be a monkey's uncle!" the ensign exclaimed.
"What is it?" asked Captain ONE.
This signal coming in alongside the standard radio signals from the star..." He shook his head, perplexed at what he was seeing. Considering the diagnostics that had been run, this shouldn't be happening.
"This just can't be!" he theorized.
"What can't be, ensign?" asked TJ, now intrigued.
"There's this signal coming in astride the standard radio signals, like I said. But when I try to analyze it, the reading comes back as "empty/void of information".
"'Tis right ye are, ensign. That can't be," TJ agreed as he moved beside the ensign at the Ops console, examining the readings.
"You see, sir, there it is. It shouldn't be there ... but there it is!"
"An' 'tis another thing I'm noticin'," TJ added. "Though 'tis true th' extra signal has no information accordin' t' sensors, there's a slight pulsating pattern t' it."
TJ's gaze returned to the ensign. "Th' instruments record no information on th' signal, yet th' amount o' feed-in denies it. Somewhere in this, there is information coming in."

Xin-Ling did not like it. Currently sitting at the Tactical console, it was her responsibility to be on the alert for anything that might suggest hostile action, and to respond instantly to the captain's orders, should he require her to take offensive action.
She was not concerned whether or not she could respond quickly; that was of no consequence. Those who had seen her in action before, particularly in hand-to-hand combat, knew she could easily take the crown of speed from a jaguar.
With the unknown signal riding the radio output from the dying star, the disappearance of the probes Cadet Giga had sent out, and the disturbing news of sensor ghosts that at least one officer thought might not be ghosts at all, her sense of caution was coming to the surface, and she started considering possible moves to make on her console, should the captain leave that decision open to her.
Add to that the large object that could possibly be a hostile alien vessel, and you had the ingredients for an extremely volatile situation.
Silently, the petite Asian warrior frowned, ready to respond to the captain's order, whatever it might be.

James turned around. "Commander, we might be able to modify our deflector dish to send a concentrated static feed-back loop into the anomalie. This would probably isolate the frequencies on which we're receiving information, leaving the sensors free to deal with it without having to filter out all the background noise." Commander Edwards looked at the Captain. The Captain looked back at him. "It might be word a shot Captain," Edwards said glancing at the sensor consoles. "Very well Commander, make it so. Keep me posted of all progress." James nodded. "Aye Captain. I'll be in Engineering." He quickly instructed his replacement to call him if anything happened and went to Engineering.
The turbolift was annoyingly slow, or so it seemed to James. He was not very patient, especially not when equipment kept him waiting in a potentially dangerous situation. "Blast! They should invent turbolifts that go at least thrice as fast!" The doors slid open and making a mental note to himself to contact Omicron about the turbo-turbolifts, he entered Engineering. Commander Stephans was working on some schematics in her office, so James quickly popped his head in and said, "Jessica, I'm gonna borrow your Cadet for a few hours to modify the deflector dish." The only answer he got was a distracted "mmm mmm" so he quickly turned around again and started looking for Cadet O'Dell.
After a few minutes he had found her, studying schematics on a console near the warp core. "Aaah Cadet O'Dell, just the one I was looking for. Care for a challenge?" Lydia looked up, unsure what to think, but curious and eager to learn. "Always sir." "Good. We're going to modify the delfector dish to create a static beam that we will shoot into the anomaly. Once it reaches the anomaly, it will create a static field, isolating the datafrequencies, so our sensors can better analyse them. It's a procedure that's not often done, so it will be a great learning case."
<TAG: O'Dell>
Together they walked over to the "pooltable," the main data and testing console in Engineering and they started working.

Hell, monkeys and their uncles? Giga was getting more and more confused by 'figures of speech'.
Commander O'Connor has aksed Giga to conceive a theory as to what was going on out there. In all honesty there were thousands of ideas. Some decent and some laughable, if Giga were able to laugh.
The paticles could be tesseracting through space and time or it could be less interesting and merely be the formation of a micro wormhole.
He accessed the last fragment of sensor data before the probe dissapeared and zoomed in on the right hand corner where his enhanced vision picked up on a small vessel.
"Odd." He said out loud.
Before he could analyse this further and electrical discharge came through the console and knocked Giga halfway accross the Bridge, severing his head in the process.
Someone yelled and Giga could here movement all around him, however he himslef could not move.
"Cadet?! Are you alright?!" Someone asked.
"Yes. I am fine. None of my circuits appeared to have been shorted out by the discharge however I appear to be missing my body." Giga replied.
Someone sniggered.
"Could someone pick me up please?" Giga asked.
His head was picked up and put onto the science console.
"I believe someone didnt want me to analyse this data further. If I were organic then I would be dead now." He stated.
"What is going on here?!" Giga heard Commander Edwards say.
The small crowd of officers parted from around Giga's head and Giga looked at the Commander.
"Ah Commander. Could you please get an engineer up here. I could do with some help." He said.
Edwards tried to hide a smile. "Cours' Cadet. Ill be happy to oblige."

It was all TJ could do to keep from laughing. Obviously, Giga was not really "hurt", but he was in definite need of repair.
"Commander Edwards t' Enginerin'," he said as he tapped his comm badge.
– /\ – Engineering here, Commander. – /\ –
"'Tis a wee bit o' trouble we're havin' up here on th' Bridge. Can ye be sendin' us up an engineer? High priority."
– /\ – Specifics please, Mr. Edwards. – /\ –
TJ took an instant to look at the damaged cadet, head set on the console and body yet on the floor. The situation seemed so – cartoony!
"Cadet Giga is seemin' t' have trouble with his agent takin' ten percent off th' top! Can we be gettin' someone up here with some connectin' experience?"
There was a sigh from the other end of the communication. Obviously she was exasperated by the Irishman's attempt at humor. Perhaps it would have been funny if she was up on the Bridge and could see whatever it was TJ was joking about, but she had no idea.
– /\ – Very well, sir, I'll get someone up there as soon as I can. – /\ –

Giga didnt understand what was so amusing. He hadnt performed a 'joke'. At least he didnt think that he had.
Commander Edwards moved Giga's body over to his head and looked down at the android.
"How's it going Cadet?" He asked, trying to keep a straight face.
"I have suffered no permanent damage if that is what you are reffering to." Giga said. "However if you are reffering to our strange sensor ghosts then all is not well."
<TAG Commander Edwards>
The engineering officer walked in and glanced over where Giga's head was. She did a double take and then slowly walked over.
"I take it this is the problem Commander?" She said, a hint of a laugh in her voice.
"Yep! Sure is! Can you please get our Science Cadet back on his feet?!" Commander Edwards said, trying to sound authoritative in such a ridiculous situation.
"I'll get right on it Commander." The Engineer replied.

Jordan heard and felt the tremors from the explosion and tapped her combadge.
Jordan: =Mackler to Edwards= Is everythin' ok? I heard an explosion.
TJ: Everything's fine. Cadet Giga just got his head disengaged from the rest of his body. There's nothing to worry about. Commander Stevens is fixing him right up.
Jordan's eyebrows furrowed in confusion. Why would the head of Engineering be needed for an injury? Then she remembered who Cadet Giga was and smiled.
Jordan: Good to hear. If ya need me, ya know where I work. Mackler out.

After running a few simulations, Commander O'Connor and Cadet Odell began making the neccessary modifications to the deflector array. Most of it could be done from the central engineering console, but there were some changes that needed to be made to the graviton polarity generators two decks up, then in the main deflector control room, just behind the dish itself.
Systems modifications complete, they headed off to complete the physical modifications. The work to the graviton polarity generators was a simple job to increase power flow, and one that Lydia was more than capable of, so she stepped off the turbolift after two decks, arranging to meet the commander in the deflector control room.
By the time Lydia reached the rendezvous, Commander O'Connor had done most of the work. Just one or two finishing touches, and the dish was ready. Lydia took one console and transferred sensor control, while James initialised the static beam from another.
"Beam engaged, isolating frequencies. It's working!" the operations officer exclaimed.
"Scanning...sir, they've adapted. I barely got half a second of data before they changed the data frequencies."
"I'll isolate the frequencies again, hold on....it's not working, they're blocking our beam."
"There goes that option," Lydia said, taking a step back from the console.
"What did you manage to get on sensors?" O'Connor asked.
"Not much sir, but it appears their warp systems have a Federation signature, or at least something very similar." Lydia answered.
"So it's a Starfleet vessel out there?" the commander asked in disbelief.
"Unlikely," replied Odell, "the hull is constructed of alloys not in use in Starfleet." Either way, Lydia could not deny that there was a vessel out there, and it almost certainly had a Federation warp engine.
She decided it was about time to catch up with the re-asssembled Giga and discuss progress, and so arranged a little meeting.
Half an hour later, the two cadets, Chief Engineer Stephens and Commanders Penfold and O'Connor stood around the warp core. Lyds explained what had just been discovered in the deflector room, before handing over to Giga for an update on his progress.

Giga "I have suffered no permanent damage if that is what you are refering to." Giga said. "However if you are reffering to our strange sensor ghosts then all is not well." "Ah, th' ghosts is it again, me lad?" TJ's face tensed as he wondered if perhaps the sensor ghost might have something to do with the strange signal coming through the Operations console.
In space, you usually had to assume and prepare for the worst, while hoping for the best. One of the first lessons he had learned at the Academy.
Begorrah! he thought as he looked over at ONE, who seemed mentally preoccupied at the moment. An' just what might th' connection be between th' two?

Down in Engineering, Cadet Odell briefed the Science, Engineering and Ops staff on the strange alien/Federation combo vessel she had detected while isolating the frequencies. It was a detailed briefing worthy of an Academy lecture and the staff gradually became more concerned. Cadet Giga was luckily reassembled, but his reports on the situation wasn't reassuring at all. There had been an explosion, which could indicate an accident or a side-effect of the anomaly, but it could also be an attack from the strange vessel. This was was something they had all been thinking about, but it was worse when someone said it out loud.
What was even more disturbing was Captain One's behaviour. The explosion had seemed to leave him quite undisturbed. There was no worried shout of "Report!" and even more surprising was the fact that he completely ignored the fact that his Science Cadet had just been blown to pieces right before his eyes. James and Penfold had been shocked when they found out what had happened to Cadet Giga and Lydia had immediately asked for permission to go see how he was doing. She had been very worried too, but Captain One hadn't made a single comment, not one word of reassurance, not a single reaction on the explosion, just a vacant staring at the viewscreen.
Suddenly, the engines kicked in and te staff could feel the ship moving again. Commander Stephans went to the nearest Engineering console to see what was happening and Penfold accessed the sensors from another console, while James tapped his combadge.
=^=O'Connor to Bridge. What is happening? Why are we moving?=^=
Before James could receive an answer, Penfold interrupted him. James, we're heading straight into the anomaly.

Down in Engineering, Giga gave hsi report on the sensor ghosts and the electrical discharge. He was still experiencing some motor difficulties because of the accident but he predicted that they would subside in a few hours.
He finished giving his speach when the ship lurched forwards.
"I will return to the bridge" He said when he heard what was happining.
He left Engineering and proceeded to the Bridge. When he arrived he manned his console with a few glances from those around him. His decapatation must have caused quite a stir amongst the crew.
He was attempting to pinpoint where they were heading when the sensors flashed.
"Captain!" He called. "We are being probed. I believe someone is attempting to lock on a transporter signal!"
Captain ONE looked at Giga then at Commander Edwards.
Edwards took control.
"Sheilds up, maximum power!" He said.
The Officer at tactical informed them that the sheilds were down. She couldn't get them working.
Commander Edwards turned to Giga. "Give me a full spec analysis on those..." He didn't finish. Or if he did Giga did not hear him because the familiar sound of a transporter whirled around him.
Giga was no longer on the Hepta...

The turbolift doors opened just in time for Lydia to see Giga disappear in a whir of blue.
"What happened?" shouted TJ. The crew was stunned at what was going on, a cadet had been apparently attacked and then kidnapped, and all the while they were drawing closer to a dangerous anomaly and a rapidly collapsing star. And all the while the captain maintained an oddly uncharacteristic silence.
"Sir, without our shields radiation from the star will reach hazardous levels within one minute," reported Commander Chan.
"Options," said Commander Edwards.
"A simulated breach in antimatter containment would force an automatic warp core shutdown, engines would be offline for half an hour while the system resets," suggested Penfold from the science console.
"Very good Mr Penfold, go ahead. What I really need is a way to stop that ship out there from going anywhere, we must presume Giga is on board."
Silence befell the bridge as the crew of experienced Starfleet officers and rookie cadets racked their brains for some way to stop a ship they couldn't even see.
"Resonator probes," Lydia finally said.
"Cadet?"
"Resonator probes, if we fired one along the same trajectory as the previous probes it should disappear into the anomaly as well. Once it reaches its destination the probe will emit harmonic vibrations that should shatter the other ship's dilithium crystals."
"Rendering their warp engines totally useless, good thinking. Penfold, have Commander Stephans shut down our core as per your plan, then help Cadet Odell prepare a resonator probe." As the first officer dished out assignments, the stunned silence was quickly replaced with a more regular hive of activity, with the aim of finding and rescuing their missing cadet.

The transport stopped and Giga surveyed his suroundings.
He went to tap his commbadge but discovered that it had been removed during transport. His captors were not foolish.
It was dark. Only emergency lighting appeared to be online. Giga activated his night vision and analysed a nearby wall.
He had no idea what it was made out of. It appeared to be a cross between many types of metal.
"Cadet Giga, I presume." A voice came from the dark.
Giga turned to the direction from where the voice came.
"Of course, you won't answer. Learn more about your oponent before he can learn about you. Only just in Starfleet and already the Federation has printed its loathsome footprint on you." The voice sighed. "You could be so much more."
Giga began recording the voice's speach. He would later run a voiceprint analysis on this and cross-reference with the database on the Hepta, it was unlikely that something would crop up but it was an option to persue.
"Come Cadet, do you not wish to learn about your captor?!" The voice was slightly raised. Giga detected annoyance and increasing stress levels.
"Calm yourself." Another voice came from the dark. "We can not let him gain the advantage."
This voice was female definately. Although Giga could not decide on the other voice, there seemed to be no obvious signs of the first voice's gender.
He immediately ran a search in his datababks to find genderless species the federation had encountered and engaged in hostilities that were not resolved.
"Lights." The female voice said.
So the ship was not on emergency power. It was simply low lighting. He ran another serach in his databanks to find any species that preffered the dark that had engaged in unresolved hostilities with the Federation.
"Giga, Giga. Such an emotionless name. Why would you give yourself a name that means so little. Something that suggests a part, a cluge in something bigger. If only you understood Giga. You are that something bigger. You aren't a cluge, be that something bigger."
If Giga had emotion he would of been rolling his eyes at that point.
The searches were complete. He found four genderless species that had had unresolved hostilities with the Federation. However three of which were extinct due to a system wide explosion of the Heroditus system 3 years ago. That only left the Capulitari, the Federation lost contact with them ten years ago.
The main 'dark preffering species' were the Remans however Giga had scanned the people in front of him and neither had Reman physiology at all. It was unlikely that any other crew members were Reman but Giga did not dispand the option.
The only other 'dark preffering species' was that of the insectoid and Reptilian Xindi. However the Federation had had little contact with the Xindi since the days of the NX class starship. However they did fit in with the puzzle.
This was becoming a bigger mystery. Possibly many species joining up against the Federation?
"You may be emotionless Cadet but your confusion is obvious." The female voice said.
Giga looked directly at her. She was definately not human, however she did not mach Xindi or Capulitari physiology. Yet another species.
"We are the restors." The genderless voice said.
"We want to restore the Universe to its original beauty. Restore planets to their original form, without pollution, without Starships."
Giga suddenly understood.
"You're trying to rid the stars of Starships?" He asked.
"So he does talk. Yes we are and you my friend are going to head up the revolution. You my friend, along with us. Are the future..."

There was a silence.
"Well! Come Giga! Come and See your Ship!" The female said. The genderless one seemed to have dissapeared.
Giga walked over to the Female. Perhaps going along with this was the only option.
"I will give you a tour of the Ship my friend." She said.
They left the room and entered a dimly lit corrider which Giga immediately recognized as Klingon in origin.
"So you slavage abandoned ships and create new ones to destroy others. This makes no sense." Giga said.
"We do salvage other ships to create new ones and yes we do destroy other starships but as soon as we have rid the stars of all ships then we will destry our vessels and return to our own homworlds." She replied.
They continued walking for a while and passed hrough many other different types of ships.
"And now for the best part of the ship - the main bridge." She said smiling.
The doors hissed open and Giga walked onto a bridge of Starfleet Design - in the corner the registration plaque had engraved...
"U.S.S. Enterprise NCC 1701-D. This is impossible" He said. "Starfleet romved all traces of the Enterprise D from Viridian III, you have made a replica."
"It is true, the bridge itself is a replica made from stolen Starfleet tech but the plaque is that of the orginal. It encourages us to remember what we are destroying." She said, a wicked smile playing her lips.
She pasued.
"This! Is the Pax Revelation!" She said.
Giga cocked his head slightly. "Ironic he said. Pax his old Earth for Peace and Revelation is a book in the Earth religious text the Bible. You wish to bring peace by destroying the universe?" He asked.
"We wish to bring peace by destroying the old and ushering in the new Giga." She said.
The Bridge doors opened and six crew members entered. 2 Klingons, 1 Cardassian and 3 Reptillian Xindi.
"These are my senior staff." She said. She turned to the six and smiled.
"Meet your new Captain." She said smiling to them.
Giga looked puzzled.
"At 0700 tomorrow, you Giga, will be apart of this ship. The interface proceedure will comence and you will be one with this ship." She said.
"I will not allow this." Giga said.
"Oh trust me..." One of the Klingons growled. "Once we have shown you the power you will have you will want to allow it..."
Giga immediately began devising plans using this new information to his advantage. He had to get a message to the Hepta...

Cadet Giga had just vanished before the eyes of the shocked Bridge personnel. It took TJ but seconds to recover sufficiently to respond.
First turning to the Operations console, he said, "I want th' current location or path o' travel of all vessels that were in proximity to this location within th' last 15 minutes."
Flicking a switch on the arm of the chair, he continued, "Commander Edwards t' Transporter Room Three. I want you ready to lock on an' energize th' moment I send you th' appropriate coordinants."
"Faith, an' if th' Breen were not successful in this, whoever took me cadet is goin' t' suffer as did they!
"Commander Chan, prepare t' fire on me mark. Intentions o' th' alien ship are now clear."
TJ's jaw tensed, and his normally-twinkling eyes were stormy.

Xin-Ling's face could not often be read. As open as was TJ's countenance, she was even more closed-faced. Yet, a glimmer of disapproval escaped, as did a slight shaking of her head from side to side.
"It not a good idea to be so swift to combat – not yet," she thought.
To her manner of thinking, there was still some possibility there had been no hostile action. Still, if she was in error, then it was best to be prepared.
The Asian Warrior made ready to fire, should it become necessary.

James was still in Engineering when the Operations officer on the Bridge informed him of the situation. A loud "BLAST!" disrupted the relative silence of the working officers. They looked up in alarm at O'Connr's angry exclamation. He turned to the others, the expression on his face varying between anger about the kidnapping and anxiety about the Cadet's safety. "Cadet Giga has been transported to the enemy vessel," he explained. "I'm needed on the Bridge." He turned round and left Engineering.
Angry thoughts flashed through O'Connor's mind on his way to the Bridge. What the hell had gone wrong? How could this have happened? Were the shields malfunctioning? James could have sworn an oath that they had been up. This would mean that the enemy had a technology to penetrate the shields. Or had there been some kind of weakness in the shields? A temporary flaw in configuration? It didn't make any sense.
=^=Cadet Odell, run a level one diagnostic on all shields. I need you to find out how Cadet Giga could be transported away while we had our shields up as part of the yellow alert status. We're in a red alert situation now and I need those shields operating at maximum capacity=^=
James finally reached the Bridge. He entered and looked around at the usual chaos of frantically working officers during red alert. He nodded a short hello to Commander Edwards and relieved the Ops officer, who went to another station nearby to resume his duties. Captain One hadn't spoken one word to him. It was as if he didn't even notice James coming in. He just kept staring at the viewscreen with a rather vacant expression. On second thought, not only didn't he notice James come in, it was as if he didn't notice anything at all. Commander Edwards was giving orders and taking status reports, but the Captain never looked up. James turned to Commander Edwards. "Commander, wouldn't it be wise to have Counselor Johnson or Doctor Mackler check on the Captain?"

Giga had spent most of the night running scenarios to determine how he would escape. In everyone single scenario he did not excape with the Hepta exploding or too many lives being lost.
He wasn't worth that many lives.
The doors hissed open and the female entered the room he had been 'kept' in.
"Come Giga. It is time." She said.
Giga could get no more out of her. They arrived on the bridge and Giga was forced into the centre chair by the Klingons. He could of resisted but he was intrigued to find out what was goin to happen.
The back of his cranium was opened and four cables were forced in. Next 8 implants were atached to each of his arms followed by four on each of his legs.
"Giga, now you become one with our vessel." The female said.
There was a loid bang and a blinding light. An electical impulse ran through Giga, not unlike the discharge on the Hepta that had severed his head.
This continued for over 2hours. Eventually the procedure finished.
Giga was smoking slightly, 45minutes earlier he had lost conciousness and now he slowly awoke.
He felt odd.
He felt like had was bigger.
Like he had something attached to him.
"How do you feel, Master." The female said. Giga noticed the change in her tone and the use of master.
"I am fine." He replied bluntly.
"Do you not feel different?" She asked.
"Yes." He said.
"Try moving the ship Master." She said.
Giga nodded slightly. Now he understood. They had joined him to the Pax Revelation, it was technically impossible yet it had happened.
He thought Red Alert.
The Sirens sounded and the lights flashed.
"Excellent!" The female cried. "Now decloak and attack the Starfleet vessel!"
Giga nodded and simply though 'decloak' and 'attack Hepta'. It happened instantly.
The ship decloaked and swooped round beneath the Hepta. A line of phaser fire cut through the ships hull like fire through ice. Giga's knowledge of the sheild frequencies allowed him to break through them, although he was puzzled why they hadn't changed the frequency.
The ship swung about again and Giga thought about launching torpedoes and it happened.
The Hepta hung limp in space.
The screen flickered on as Giga thought it and Commander Edward's face appeared on it.
The bridge looked a mess. There were small fires throughout and the emergency lights were on.
"Cadet, You are alright!" The Commander said. Looking relieved.
"What are you doing?" The female hissed. Giga spun round and galred at her.
*=* Warning. Main Bridge Decompressing. Warning. Main Bridge Decompressing. =*=
"Ok, Ok I trust you Master. Continue please." She said nervously.
The Bridge remained compressed and Giga turned back to face Commander Edwards.
"Cadet, What is goin on?" He asked. "Why is that woman calling you master? Cadet Report!"
"I am now the Restor Vessel the Pax Revelation. Do not attempt to follow us, or I will destroy you." Giga said.
The screen flickered and the picture went out.
"We go to Earth." Giga said.
The ship cloaked and set of at Warp8 for Earth.
The female smiled. "You accessed my logs and saw what I wnated to achieve."
Giga nodded. "But now it is my mission."
"Of course master. Of course." She said, practically bowing.
Giga sat down in the centre chair. He was hopeful that Commander Edwards had got his secret message hidden in his blinking. It was used by the Navy in Old Earth but Giga was positive that someone watching the message would get it.
The blinks roughly translated as:
Taken hostage. Restors=Destroy Starships. They want to destry Earth and the Fedreation. Heading for Earht now. Sorry for explosions.
The next stage in the plan was simple. Find out why the female wnated him to join with the ship and how they did it.

The Hepta was still running scans. So far, everything they had tried proved utterly useless. The ship they picked up was annoyingly real, but the sensors didn't pick up anyother signature than the fain Federation signature they had already picked up a few hours ago. It was like a ghost ship and it very much reminded James of the old Terran legend of the Flying Dutchman.
James reported his findings at intervals to Commander Edwards and so did the rest of the Bridge crew. Edwards always responded courteously, assimilated the information and gave out orders accordingly, but one could sense that he was worried. The tension was visible in his face and it emanated from his every move. He was worried for good reason though, for not only were they in a dangerous situation with an unknown enemy alien vessel which had just kidnapped a Cadet hanging off their port bough, but in addition, the Captain had now started humming softly to himself. Other than staring at the viewscreen with an annoyingly vacant expression and the soft humming that got on everybody's neves within minutes, he didn't give a single sign of life. James had directly addressed hi several times, as had Commanders Chan and Edwards, but Captain One ignored them completely. After about a dozen times, James had given up reporting to the Captain and instead had focussed all his attention on his XO. Earlier, he had suggested that the ship's shrink should check him out, but now, James was rather convinced that the only thing that could be done was relieve the Captain of his command for the time being and admit him to the psychiatric ward of the nearest Starbase.
Suddenly, it seemed that the Captain started to regain his senses. He turned to the Helm officer and said in a peculiar distracted voice, "Helm, I think it's time we had a closer look. What do you think?" The Helm officer looked up, looking very confused. "Captain?" Captain One eyed him eerily. "Yes, yes Ensign, I know you are just as anxious to see that ship from up close as I am. Come on, go ahead, set a course and engage" Everyone had looked up when the Captain stared speaking, but a feeling of horror slowly took possession of the Bridge crew. Commander Edwards intervened. "Belay that Ensign, we will stay where we are. Captain, I really don't think........" Captain One turned on him, a hint of rage in his otherwise still expressionless face. "Stay out of it Commander. I am Captain and I say we go in closer. Helm......"
At that very moment, the whole debate became an academic one. Commander Chan suddenly yelled "Brace for impact!!!" She had hardly finished speaking when the ship suddenly rocked violently and sirence started blaring from al directions. Commander Chan was violently thrown over her console and she landed in front of the Captain's chair, where she lay immovable. Commander Edwards was thrown off his feet but quickly recovered. James suddenly found himself on the lap of a beautiful young Ensign, something he would have enjoyed immensely had the circumstances been different. Luckily, she was so shocked by the sudden impact that she didn't object in the least. James quickly staggered to his feet and yelled "Report!" while he surveyed the Bridge. Commander Edwards had already taken Tactical and yelled, "returning fire, all pahsers, preparing photon torpedoes full spread." Commander Chan still lay on the floor, unconscious or worse.
=^=O'Connor to Sickbay, medical emergency on the Bridge. I need a medic over here NOW!=^=
He quickly took his seat and started running emergency diagnostics on all systems, while the damage reports were coming in.
=^=Engineering to Bridge. Hull breach on decks 4, 5, 6 and decks 10 and 12. Emergency forcefields in place and holding. What the hell is going on up there?=^=
Just then, a second impact rocked the ship. Several Bridge consoles exploded, sending screaming crewmembers flying through the air. James ignored the question from the Hepta's Chief Engineer and summoned additional medical teams to the Bridge.
=^=Sickbay to Bridge, casualty reports coming in from all over the ship. So far no fatals=^=
The turbolift doors slid open and Doctor Mackler and Counselor Johnson entered the Bridge, both carrying emergency medical kits.
<TAG: Barbara Johnson, Jordan Mackler>
It was over as suddenly as it had begun. The ship stopped rocking and Commander Edwards bellowed, "Will somebody PLEASE shut off the damn noise!" The sirenes stopped as the viewscreen came to life and Cadet Giga's image appeared.
<TAG: Edwards>
The Doctor and Counselor carried the wounded off the Bridge. It seemed it was over for now. James turned to his console. "Commander, warp engines are off line and we only have 50% impulse power. Life support is holding, but the shields are almost gone.
<TAG: Edwards>
James tapped his combadge.
=^=Engineering, report=^=
<TAG: Lydia Odell>
The fires on the Bridge were extinguished, but the Captain was still sitting motionless in his chair, completely erect, staring at the viewscreen, softly humming to himself
