Hawk was not too comfortable with the fact that Starfleet has taken an interest in Falconian history since his people having been very private and recluse for many centuries. Hawk was the first and only member of his people to leave their cloaked world to interact with other species in the hope that one day they could again live in peace with all worlds. Their weapon and cloaking technologies were far advanced from that of Starfleet which is why Hawk must never reveal it or the location of his world, which is but a fraction of the Falconian people scattered about the galaxy. Hawk’s people, not unlike the Borg, would incorporate all new and captured technologies into their own for defense purposes only. Hawk hoped that someday soon the Federation and Falconian people would join together in peace.
Hawk beamed over to the Vesuvius with the rest of his crew mates. He had but one thing on his mind at this point and it was to see the Captain of this fine ship ASAP. Hawk hurried to the briefing room hoping to speak with Commodore Sonak before things got started.
“Captain Sonak!” Hawk yelled from across the room.
Sonak turned to see Hawk flying to her position in the room.
“Yes Commander, what is so urgent that you must raise your voice across the room,” Sonak inquired with a raised eyebrow.
“Sorry Sir but I must know how Duk ah… I mean Admiral Nova… is Sir?” Hawk said with a bit of excitement in his voice.
“I assure you Commander that Admiral Nova is quiet well and safety on his way home,” Sonak said with a comforting voice.
“Thank you Captain Sonak, I feel much more relieved now. I did not have the chance to check the last communications about his situation,” Hawk said as he extended his hand to Sonak.
“Please Commander have a seat. The briefing is about to begin,” Sonak instructed.
Hawk seated himself next to Commander Aarons for the briefing. As he listened to Commander Byrne’s story Hawk became quiet uncomfortable with so much knowledge of his people known to outsiders.
Hawk had been preparing a Falconian history brief of his own and was not looking forward to it. It seemed like an intrusion of privacy to Hawk. It still took him a long time to fully trust any human and now he was surrounded with a flock of new faces.

Kedzie hadn't come with the first group of officers to the Vesuvius, she had a few things to deal with from the last mission before she could join the majority of the other senior staff that went over to the Vesuvius.
Kedzie walked quickly out of her office when she finished the last something she was working on, knowing she had one stop to take before she would go to the Vesuvius. She stopped outside of Liz's quarters, and rang the bell of the quarters softly enough that were Liz actually sleeping it wouldn't wake her, but insistent enough that hopefully if Liz were awake she would answer it.
Kedzie wasn't completely sure if Liz was still restricted from duty, no one had bothered to let her know, but if that were the case than it would probably be good for someone to be there to talk with Liz. Or be ready to leave Liz alone, should that be what the doctor truly wanted.
Kedzie rang the bell to Liz's quarters one more time, then thought about turning to go, since Liz hadn't answered she was probably in a 'do not disturb' mood, and wouldn't want to talk to anyone, let alone an overly cheery counselor. Still, Kedzie waited ten more seconds, on the off chance Liz might answer.

Trish leaned against the wall with a padd out casually taking notes as they explained the mission. She wondered if she could help Ked out with Liz, figuring that she wouldn't have much to do. ~Then again, no mission goes like it is planned. I'm sure I will have something to do. Besides from what I read, we need to have physicals again. There is also the store room, which probably needs some help.~ Trish thought, and then brought herself back to the mission debrief trying to pay attention.
On the Majesty, Liz had decided to finally get up, and got something to eat from the replicator even though she didn't feel like eating. She heard the door chime, and sighed. Sitting down to eat she wondered if she should answer that.
"Enter," she said between bites and noticed Kedzie came in. Liz finished her meal quickly, and left the plate where it was. Liz noticed her quarters were a mess, but she didn't really care.

Sonak was pleased to find that the Majesty crew was beaming over so swiftly, and even more pleased to find them interacting with her own crew. She noticed her counselor was chatting with a to her unfamiliar Trill wearing a science uniform but bearing no rank insignia that she could see.
She patiently ensured the Falconian officer when he enquired after the section admiral then suggested he take a seat. The Vulcan commanding officer tired easily these days and she was glad when Nick finally motioned, rather furiously, that she should sit down. A motion that was supported by both Hedin and Andrews, as it seemed. At almost seven months pregnant, remaining on her feet for too long was starting to grow tough.
So, she sat down, with Captain Cornette taking the first officer's seat which was galantly vacated by Martens. Sonak did notice that the Majesty's counselor and chief medical officer were still missing, but another teal-clad woman was appearing in their stead it seemed. From the look on Logan's face, Sonak could tell he was eager to share his findings with the rest of the crew, and that of the Majesty, but she also sensed Hawk wanted to speak.
Deciding that it was likely best for Hawk to start, she motioned for him to begin, while telling Logan to wait with his findings until Hawk had said what he needed or wanted to say. She did have a feeling it wasn't going to be good. "Commander Hawk, I have the feeling you wish to share something with us," she spoke, gazing directly at the Falconian who now looked less than pleased whereas earlier he had seemed happily excited.

Hawk felt quite uncomfortable talking to so many unfamiliar human faces about Falconian secrets or at the very least their violent past with humans/humanoids. He knew that although he still held many reservations about humans in general, they could in fact help his people find others of his kind and also help improve their quality of healthcare. Something the Falconians lacked was Starfleet’s medical knowledge and other advancements in the sciences. They were however very advanced in the weapon and defense departments.
Hawk moved to the front to begin his part of the briefing. He asked that all those present respect the privacy of his people during this mission and remember all the pain they had suffered.
Hawk began his briefing statement:
“According to the Falconian historians, the ancient story that was passed down from generation to generation started out on a little piece of real estate called, “Atlantis”. The Falconian version of Atlantis:
Atlantis continent – first civilization – all lived in peace – land rich and fertile – food plentiful – no want for anything. Along with Falconians, Atlantis also boasted other forms of ‘mythical’ beings such as centaurs. At this time in their history, Falconians still possessed wings and the power of flight. Many other species also were in different forms of man/animal development. All species lived in peace on Atlantis and life was good.
When the Great Disaster came, the only people to escape were the Falconians, who flew to Canary Islands. Upon the influx of Europeans to the nearby areas of Morocco, the Falconians migrated to what is now known as present day Easter Island. Here they existed in peace and anonymity from the world for several centuries. How those ancestors left Earth is still unknown. However, at some point, Hawk’s ancestors took to the stars, finding an inhabitable world and naming it Falconia. Some Falconians consider the tales of their time on Atlantis and Earth as purely fiction since no written record exists expect for the tails told by the Falconian Historians.”
Hawk returned to his seat and turned over the floor to Commander Byrne.

Trey opened his eyes and ears to the beeping of his chronometer this had been the second time in had gone off, he passed is hand over his face then grabbed the clock from his side table [11:30]
“WOW it’s that late” he said as he rolled him self out of bed and placed the clock back onto the side desk and the made his way to the sonic shower. Moments later he made his way out in uniform squared and crisp, he took a quite glance at the mirror passed his hand through his hair then headed for the bridge. The lift doors slid open and the sovereign class bridge appeared in front of his eyes, he nodded to the few crewmen then made his way to the briefing room. The door hissed open young trey walked in only to find him self interrupting logans speech, all heads and eyes turned towards him. He gave a very big smile, a small nod and took a seat. As Logan continued his speech maverick took this time to look round the table, there were many new faces and he was egger to get to know the names and people behind them.

"Thank you, Commander Hawk, for your presentation, and, yes, that also follows some of the speculation about the origins that I have been researching. On te PADDs in front of all of you shows a piece of information that I deeply investigated based on a story that I read when I was a child. Following the source of the infomation, I came upon a few references to a rumored book said to have inside it, the source of all known language on the planet Earth." Turning to the viewscreen behind him, Byrne called up an image, that almost caused Hawk to fall out his chair. "This is what the book is theorized to look like. As you can see from the cover, there are great amounts of reference to an avian-like race, that migrated and divided after a great cataclysm. Sounding more familiar, Commander Hawk? Refering to some of the text reported to be inside the book, some of what the Commander, may or may not, be completely accurate. " "According to parts of the text deciphered, in my opinion, shows that this avain-like race was actually may have had more of a role in creating modern civilization, then Hawk would like to admit. And that it was because of thre destruction of Atlantis, that this race fled the island and created a staging area on Easter Island and eventually fled the planet and isolated themselves due to the disaster on their former planet. Not wanting to be reminded of the failure that created the human race. But like I said, conjecture." "Commander Hawk, I am posing this misson, for one reason. I believe that humans and Falconians hold a greater link to each other than either of us know. But I need your permission to follow this cource of action. And if you concede, I may be relying on you to fill in some of the blanks I am missing to establish the wereabouts of the Book of the Birds and possibly finding more of your race and setting the record straight. Now mind you, this is theory, no guarantees." "Commodore, with your permission, I would like to finish up the diagnostics in Engineering and get us on the road. Per say." Gazing around the room, Byrne just saw the stunned looks on the faces of the command staff. With that, Byrne excused himself, mentioning that he would be available for touring the ship for those who would like to become more familiar with it's operating systems. <Hawk / Fox>

OOC: While waiting on clarification of facts from Hawk, I missed putting this post ahead of Byrne's by 30 minutes. So, read this as coming before his post. Thanks.
Kay was astonished by Hawk’s forthrightness concerning his people’s origins. Out of all who knew him, she, without exaggeration, knew him best. However, the facts spilling from him now were all new to her. A twinge of disappointment and hurt sprouted as she wondered why he never shared this information with her. Just as quickly, she realized she had never asked. But, to find out now, in front of all these strangers, seemed wrong.
As he concluded his briefing and turned to sit down, Kay saw the slight tremor in his hand as he reached for his chair. The gravity of what he’d just done hung like an albatross from his neck. Kay chastised herself for her self-pity as she watched him ease himself into his chair. He had never meant to reveal this to anyone. Hawk sat with head down for several minutes, the briefing continuing on around him, until he looked up to see Kay studying him. She looked as though she was seeing him for the very first time. She nodded slightly and gave him a small, reassuring smile.
As Commander Byrne rose to begin his portion of the briefing, Kay burst forth with a question. “Can someone please explain to me why we are in search of Hawk’s ancestral roots? I mean, other than satisfying our intense curiosity, what can we gain by possibly exposing his people to danger and the risk of total annihilation?”
“Are you suggesting that we are seeking them out only to cause them harm?” the Vulcan Commodore asked, with a subtle hint of being perturbed.
“Not at all, Commodore, but I have to ask since the Falconians have, obviously, no desire to be found. Furthermore, talking about it is causing my Chief of Operations to feel as if he’s betraying his people.”
Hawk interjected quietly. “My people have, as I’ve just revealed to you, a strong tie to the people of Earth. I have been taught from my youth to distrust everyone but Falconians. I was the first to ever leave our cloaked world. My travels and eventual acceptance into Starfleet, have taught me that others can be trusted.” His eyes met with Kay’s briefly before he continued, his voice growing stronger and more confident. “Despite my reservations here, I am more than curious to discover my people’s true origins. If it is true that Falconians existed on Earth and we can find evidence of that link here in the Beta Quadrant, then perhaps my people can come out of hiding, interact with other species and share technologies. It could be a new beginning for my people – and perhaps lead to an alliance with the Federation.”

Nik was still in awe, the ship was magnificent, it was a dream come true to be able to see the Vesuvius let alone actually be able to walk within her, to interact with her crew. He found himself fitting in very well with the crew. He had orientated himself with the ship before they had even arrived, he knew the majority of the ship off by heart. He was no engineer but could easily appreciate the details and the intricacy of what made the Vesuvius tick.
Briefing Room
The briefing was in full swing, he could see that Hawk was a little uncomforable, but he didnt really let it show. Nik had always admired that about Hawk.
Looking around the room and the table, he wasnt sure how to handle all the new faces. He knew it might take a while to adjust and to get to know the people. But he would go out of his way as usual to try and make the integration of the two ships. After all to work as a team and reach their objective, it was essential they get to know each other.

Kedzie was invited into Liz's quarters, and noticed instantly what a mess they were in. That was not a good sign, but Kedzie didn't let that she thought it so show. “Hi, how are you?” Kedzie asked exuberantly.
Liz had barely gotten the answer to that question out when Kedzie asked another question. “Are you going to be going over to the Vesuvius?” Kedzie didn't personally see the point in going over there, since the mission was unlikely to need a counselor, or, rather, two counselors, since the Vesuvius presumably had one of their own. Still, Kedzie had planned to go, unless something very important came up on the Majesty.
Looking at Liz picking at her food though, and Kedzie worried that something important had come up. Still, she waited for an answer to her second question before saying anything further. Kedzie wondered what time it was, and was fairly sure that she was going to miss the mission briefing. Kedzie frowned suddenly, she hadn't meant to do that at all, she just hoped Captain Cornette would forgive her. Then she quickly smoothed the frown from her face, and looked up at Liz.

Liz wanted to tell her to go away, but knew that wasn't a good idea. ~They will never let me go back to duty if I do that. She is also only trying to help me, and I know I need it.~ Liz thought. Before she could answer the first question Ked asked a second. ~Inquisitive tonight, that can't be good for me.~ Liz looked up from her plate, and looke over at the counsellor finding she was almost smiling at Liz.
"No, I'm not going. I am still not allowed to be on duty yet. Thanks to Trish that is," Liz said looking back down at her plate pushing it away from her.
"What is it you want Ked?"
(Ked)
"Well, things are still looking bad here. Let me guess, you want me to talk about how I am feeling and such. Well, I'm feeling horrible. I feel I am completely alone in the universe, and that no one cares," Liz said glaring at the counsellor.
(Ked)
"What brought this on? It came when I found out I have no family left."

Sonak gazed after Byrne as he excused himself, then directed her gaze towards Captain Cornette, who seemed very protective of the Falconian officer. "Trust me captain, if anyone would want to harm Commander Hawk's people, they would have to deal with me first. And anyone so much as lifting arms at his people, from either of our crews, will be severely punished."
Just then her navigation's chief entered the room, apologizing for being late. "Please sit ensign Maverick," she interrupted her speech to acknowledge Trey's entrance, "and read the PADD." She slid a PADD towards him across the table, then gazed back at Cornette, her eyes flashing anger at the insinuation of them meaning the Falconians harm.
She dearly hoped her statement would settle down the Majesty's commanding officer. "And I would indeed like to see your people warming up towards dealings with the Federation," she continued, making eye-contact with Hawk, "it is not right that you are the only member of your people dealing with us. And I would very much appreciate your assistance in convincing them. Were I not of the opinion that we may succeed, we would not be searching for them."
Sonak paused briefly. "And we only found them by sheer accident. If your technology was not used on Admiral Nova, we would not have gone looking to translate it, and thus we would not have come across various sources of information which we shall be quite happy to share with you."
The Vulcan gazed around the room, at both crews. "If there are no more questions, then I suggest we proceed with the tours and get started on the first clue in the book. Commanders Byrne and Fox are already working on them. Captain Cornette, the assistance of your chiefs of science and engineering is very welcome."
Then she frowned. "I do seem to be missing two of your crew. Where are your counselor and chief medical officer?"

Jamey was being very nonvocal during this meeting simply because he was so new to the crew and for the time being was only there in the interim. His thoughts were becoming more and more unsettled as each word came across the table. Seeing that he hadn't seen a Falconian before today, he didn't know if his Batazed abilities would be able to read this race of people. However, seeing that they were humanoid as at least a bit of the information gained here today suggested, the race wasn't that far from humans. At any rate, he did pick up that Hawk was indeed hiding something, information it seemed.
The fact that a Star feet officer was not telling the whole truth didn't bother Jamey at this point. So, Jamey Directed a question toward his new CO, Sonak,
Knowing that she wanted to be called Doctor, Jamey still felt that her rank would be the most appropriate here, "Commodore, as my position demands, I must voice that I have issue with this mission. The potential of violating General Order 13 seems to be evident. I do not see how we could avoid that order of not compromising the integrity of the Falconians territorial space, planetary system or government if we head down the road we are choosing. It concerns me to say the least." Jamey wanted more assurance that this mission wouldn't turn out to be leading a race to slauter as he knew that even still today some species were waiting for the Falconians to be found; and he could only guess why but he knew intentions didn't seem good.
<TAG Sonak and those still left in the meeting>
Turning to the CO of the Majesty, Jamey said, "Commander Cornette, I would like to meet with your CNS and confer with her if that is at all possible."

OFF: Kay you'll just have to retro-post. ON: With the two absentees now accounted for and everyone having said what they cared to say on the record, a dispersal began as everyone left the briefing room. Aarons: "Commander, if you would." Hawk held back. "I'm not a fool nor am I blind so please don't treat me as such. You're not happy about this mission, are you?" Hawk: "Is it that obvious?" Aarons: "Right now, as far as Starfleet goes, you're one of a kind as much as B4 or that Worf guy. But too many times rare things have become lost all in the name of exploration and eager idealistic young men like our Mr. Byrne forgets that after rare comes extinction." Hawk: "My people were poised upon that fate ages ago when news spread of bird-like people. It was like the Borg finding a new piece of technology. That's when it was that their final destination became cloaked." Aarons: "And the way I see it, like the Romulans; the Klingons; or Suliban; if they went to the trouble of putting up a cloak, it's because they didn't want to be found in the first place." Hawk: "What are you saying?" Aarons: "I may have to drive the Majesty wherever this mission takes us, but I sure as Hell don't have to let her computers remember how to get there." Hawk: "You know if the Commodore heard you talking like this, you'd be walking the Vesuvius' plank right now." <Hawk> OFF: BTW, Gaz, what is General Order 13? No official Star Trek source seems to mention it.

“To see how you're doing,” Kedzie replied to Liz's question about why Kedzie was here. Kedzie wasn't sure how to reply to the nickname she seemed to have acquired at some point, but she wasn't full sure she liked it very much. Oh well.
“Well, things are still looking bad here. Let me guess, you want me to talk about how I am feeling and such. Well, I'm feeling horrible. I feel I am completely alone in the universe, and that no one cares,” Liz said, and Kedzie could feel the hostility emanating from the doctor.
“I...I am sorry,” Kedzie managed, feeling woefully incapable of handling the current situation, but knowing that there wasn't really anyone else around to do it. Fortunately, or perhaps not so, she was saved from having to reply immediately by Liz's next comments.
“I'm so sorry,” Kedzie replied, a sudden sympathy-thought flashing through her head of her sister not being around anymore, a thought she didn't want to deal with, so she submerged it. “I just stopped by to let you know that if you did want anyone to talk to, I'm here.” The genuineness of Kedzie's last comment was put into doubt though by the beep of the comm system.
Kedzie glanced warily at it, as if daring it to speak. Regretfully it did so. Kedzie understood in theory that it was a lovely device that allowed increased communication, but it seemed to interrupt things far too often. =/\=Captain Cornette to Shikako=/\=
=/\=Yes captain?=/\= Kedzie replied.
=/\=Are you going to coming over to the Vesuvius?=/\= Cornette asked. Maybe it was misinterpretation, but an impatient sometime today seemed to be heavily implied.
=/\=Yes sir.=/\= Kedzie said, and glanced at Liz, wondering if Kedzie should make some sort of explanation. =/\=I...I'll be right over. I apologize greatly for my lateness.=/\= Kedzie glanced one more time at Liz right after the channel closed. “I kind of have to..” Kedzie said, trailing off.
She received some kind of nod from Liz and Kedzie nodded back, and left, still feeling uneasy about leaving. But she was needed, and she had probably shown enough unintentional disrespect to the mission by now. On her own hurrying through the corridors, Kedzie winced. She hadn't meant at all to imply that this mission wasn't important, or even that her presence wasn't necessary. Kedzie let out a soft sigh as she stepped on the transporter pad, but she wasn't quite sure what she could have done instead of what she had.
Kedzie rematerialized on the Vesuvius and she quickly found her way to the emptying briefing room. Kedzie found Captain Cornette and was quickly briefed at least somewhat on what she had missed, and handed a PADD. Kedzie figured she then owed an apology to the Captain of the Vesuvius for not being here.
Kedzie glanced around the room, looking for the Commodore, and recognized two people she knew not from the Majesty: Reman Jared and Jamey Gaz. She couldn't really talk to either of them just now though, as she found the red-clad Commodore of the Vesuvius.
“Commodore?” Kedzie said softly, going up to the Vulcan. “I regret that I wasn't here when I should have been,” Kedzie said, wondering how Commodore Sonak would respond.

Liz watched her go feeling more lost than ever. "If only I was on duty. I hope Trishta can handle it." She put her head in her hands, and almost found herself going to chase Ked down. Instead she got up and put on her dress uniform.
Liz walked down the corridor and into Ked's office and sat down on the couch. She pulled out her phaser and set it to kill. Liz put it under her chin and started to cry. "I have nothing to live for. Today is a good day to die."
Liz aimed and found her hand trembling. She almost dropped the phaser as it went off hitting her in her arm instead of in her neck like she planed. She cursed.
Suddenly the computer's klaxon went off.
Trish stepped forward when she heard about the Chief Medical Officer mentioned. "I am the CMO until ours can take her place again," Trish said quickly hoping no one minded her speaking up.
A bit later, Trish was sitting at a table in the mess hall waiting for Jamey to show. She pulled out a padd and began to read as she sipped her hot drink.

"I dont like it! Theirs something at play here that doesnt seem right, I just wish that I could my finger on it. Y'Know maybe I do read to many of those conspiracy theories, maybe it is all innocent and will work out just fine - but what if it doesnt?"
Nik paused for a moment, trying to think of something else but he couldn't. He paced around his quarters, well they werent his. His quarters were set out the way he liked them, all his stuff was where he had assinged them.
"Computer, Suspend Log Entry. I need a coffee" with that final statement to the computer he made his way to the mess hall. He hoped to find someone to share a coffee with, he was thinking to himself that he needed to extend his circle of freinds to beyond the Captain, and the rest of the majesty crew. It was moments like this that Nik realised even though he was quite and extrovert, or gave that appearance. He was actaully quite alone in the universe, partly mainly due to his own doing!
And it was about time that changed.....

"I am the CMO until ours can take her place again," Trish said quickly hoping no one minded her speaking up.
Sonak didn't particularly like the way that was brought into the public and briefly wondered why exactly the CMO wasn't taking her place. She made a mental note to approach the captain after the meeting and enquire after the CMO. If the CMO was ill, then she would offer her assistance.
Then she was approached by a civillian Bajoran, whom she recognized from the personnel files as the Majesty's counselor.
“Commodore?” Kedzie said softly, going up to the Vulcan. “I regret that I wasn't here when I should have been,” Kedzie said, wondering how Commodore Sonak would respond.
Assuming that the Bajoran had been attending to her other duties, Sonak almost smiled at the young woman. "That is quite all right counselor," she answered, "perhaps you can have a talk with my counselor." She beckoned Jamey over. "Commander Gaz has been newly assigned to my vessel as counselor, perhaps you two could catch up on things together." She paused, looking straight at Kedzie. "You were not, by any chance, with your chief medical officer? Her unannounced absence worries me."
(kedzie/jamey)
Before Kedzie could respond, Sonak turned to see Cornette walk out the briefingroom, together with Hawk. "Please excuse me counselors, we shall have to finish this conversation later." As fast as her current condition allowed her to, she hurried after the retreating pair. "Captain, commander, a word please?"
She was nearly panting for breath as she finally caught up with the two Majesty officers. "Captain, is your doctor ill? Is there anything I can do to assist if needed?" She then gazed at Hawk. "I noticed your discomfort during the meeting, I feel I must apologize for throwing you into the deep like that. I assure you that was never my intention. My crew was very excited when they discovered possible leads to more of your people. I really do hope they may be looking forward to meeting one of their own, and would consider further relations with the Federation."
She paused for a moment. "If they do not wish any relations, any records made during this mission will be marked as top classified, until they themselves come forward and make the first step. Will that be satisfactory to you commander?"
(cornette/hawk)
"Please, would you join me on the bridge? I really do need to sit down." This time she did smile. "I really wonder why I allowed myself to go through this a third time, were it not that Jatan and I really wanted another child. Fortunately, there are only two more months to go."
(Cornette)
She nodded towards Fox. "Commander Fox, why do you not beam over to the Majesty and seek out Commander Greenwood? He is your counterpart on the Majesty."
(Fox)
She sat down in the command chair, smiling as Nick made way for Captain Cornette. He was always the gentleman, but she could see something was troubling him. "Penny for your thoughts commander," she piped in, "something is eating you..."

As everyone was catching up and touring the ship, Byrne had this nagging feeling that maybe something in the meeting may have been taken wrong. Excusing himself from the current tour, he requested the location of Commander Hawk. =^=" Computer, inform me when Commander Hawk is isolated from the rest of the senior staff, Byrne out"=^=. Heading for the fore part of the ship, Byrne kept scratching is head on the dilemna of the finding the relics he really wanted or if the command staff was going to be overprotective of Hawk and quash the mission. 'Just wish I had enough time in on this ship to convince the senior staff about my real motives,' Byrne thought. No sooner than thinking this he rounded a corner and almost leveled Commander Cornette. Apologizing like crazy, Byrne helped the Commander pick up the supplies she was carrying. "Commander, I think we got off on the wrong foot in the morning briefing in the readyroom. I want it for the record, that I personally have no desire to search for Commander Hawk's race or fellow people. I am after artifacts and a connection to possible his, ours and many other races that may also have been involved with Atlantis. Also, i am going to inquire to Commodore Sonak, that any possible reference material found relating to the location of any Falconian people, be relayed to the Majesty and filtered back to everyone else, once Commander Hawk deems it non-threatening to his race. I believe the Commodore will concede to this request. Are we understood, Commander?" With that said, Byrne detoured to the Main Bridge to relay this conversation to Commodore Sonak.

"Commander Fox, why do you not beam over to the Majesty and seek out Commander Greenwood? He is your counterpart on the Majesty."
Fox looked at Sonak nodded "Aye Ma'am. I'll be on the Majesty then." he turned around and walked away from his station. His place was immediately taken by another science officer.
Fox walked to the turbo lift, after he had entered he ordered it to go to the transporter room. Not much later he arrived there. He looked at the transporter chief. "I want to go to the Majesty." he said, the chief nodded "ok, Commander." he replied as Fox stepped on the platform.
He nodded toward the chief. A blue glow appeared around him and not much later he stood on the platform aboard the Majesty. The chief there looked at him. "I'm here for Commander Greenwood. He didn't beam to the Vesuvius did he?" The chief shook his head and Fox walked out of the transporter room.
"Computer, where is Commander Greenwood." Fox asked.
"Commander Greenwood is currently in the mess hall." came the reply. With that Fox went to the mess hall. As he entered it he looked around, seeing only a few people there, but only one wore a teal uniform. Fox walked to him "Commander Greenwood?" he asked.
Nik looked up "Yes?" he said. "I'm Commander Fox." Fox replied "Can i join your table?" Nik nodded and Fox sat down.

Trey read through the data padd commodore Sonak slid to him. After the briefing was done most of the crew of both ship left, he then mad his way to the con where he had a short talk with his replacement and headed for the turbo lift
“deck4” trey leaned onto the lift’s wall and watched the door slid shut, he once again looked at the info on the data padd as he recapped what was said at the briefing a few moments later the lifts doors slid open and the young officer’s legs began moving. He had only walked a meters when a voice pulled his attention away from the padd it was LT. JG. Tsalea
“Heading to the library?” the female Vulcan asked
“Now what makes you think that am on my way to the library.” Trey retorted
“Well that’s the only time I get to see you and it’s the only time you come this way is when you need to use the library.
“Now that not true” trey answered
“oh… so tell me when was the last time you JUST came down to deck 4”
Trey open his mouth to answer but there was nothing “okay okay you win… so are you going to help me or what”
“as you wish kyosuke” the name sent a shiver down his spine he turned to answer but she just walked pass him

"Prefect!" the voice shot out from across the command center. Nanus as they called him, his full name was Accipiter Nanus, hobbled out from his alcove. He was quite the stress case, sometimes the Command staff wondered if the old bird would spontaniously molt over something.
It sure seemed like he would today. The feathers on Nanus' neck were all ruffled and his brow furrowed up making him look like a scared hatchling.
"What is it Nanus," Prefect asked, he scratched his bald head with his fingers. He tapped a talon on the deckplate in impatience as the smaller man hobbled over.
"You need to see this Prefect," he walked over to a control panel and pulled up some data in a holographic display. Nanus was a sensor analist so the data must have been pretty interesting for him to pull the garbled mess onto the projector.
"What is it Nanus. I can't make heads nor tails of that mess and you know it," he scolded. A couple younger officers off on the sides of the command deck chuckled to themselves. Nanus huffed and punched a few more buttons.
"You command types are never patient are you," he lamented.
Suddenly when it seemed the data would be undeciferable it coalessed into a coherent mass. I was a star chart representing the quadrant around them. On the screen it showed the borders of the Klingon and Romulan empires and off on the edge Federation space. Centered in the screen was their homeworld and surrounding systems. Two blips in the display started beeping.
"This is what I need to show you," Nanus said pointing to the blinking dots.
"They're dots Nanus," Prefect said flatly.
Nanus frowned and zoomed the display in closer. It showed more information about the two blips, sensor telemetry and the like.
"It's two ships sir," Nanus said shakily.
"This is nothing new. We have ships flying around us all the time. Noone knows we're here. What's so special about these two?"
"Well these were picked up on leaving Federation space a day ago. Their direction is taking them towards Falconia sir."
Aegypius sat up in his seat.
"Are you sure?" he asked.
"Yes sir. I had a cloaked scout get close enough to do some scans. The two ships are Human ships named Vesuvius and Majesty," Nanus looked nervous as he stuttered to a stop.
"What is it Nanus," Prefect asked. Nanus fidgeted with his hands.
"There's a Falconian on board one of them."
Aegypius sat back stunned. He turned to the consol on his left and punched in a couple commands then turned back to Nanus.
"Thank you Nanus. I will pass your findings on to the council. You've done a great service to all Falconians."
Nanus smiled and darted off to his sensor alcove. Aegypius pulled up the comm menu and called the council.
After some time of explaning the President of the ruling council spoke up.
"Prefect, we the council give you the authority to do what you must. Falconia is in your hands."
"Thank you sir," Aegypius bowed and ruffled his feathers. The comm signal ended and reverted back to the view of space he'd grown so fond of.
"Accipiter send word to the fleet. Prepare for mobilization."
He stood up from his chair and walked to his office. He needed to think. Why would the humans be coming to Falconia. He needed to find out.

Nick sighed when Sonak asked him what was bothering him.
"It's just our guests down below. I've been thinking about them lately," he said softly. ~thats not the half of it~ he thought to himself.
"Quite understandable commander. I am sure everything will work out just fine."
"I'm sure ma'am. I'm going to go check the lower divisions to check their readiness." He smiled and walked into the turbolift. He however had no intention of doing such activity.
"Brig," he commanded the computer. He removed his combadge and ordered the computer to beam it to his quarters.
The doors opened and he walked into the brig. he nodded for the guard to stand outside.
"So, what do we do now?" He asked looking at Kate.
"We wait."

<Talking with Commander Aarons>
“I thank you Commander on behalf of my people for your kind offer to protect their location and I am sure Captain Cornette would agree, however it must be by her order and not you’re my friend. I would not put your life or career on the line for such an act,” Hawk said with great pride in his friend as he placed his hand on Michaels shoulder.
“I just wanted you to know that there are others who support your rights and me more than most,” Aarons replied.
“I understand and if there is, in fact, a “Book of Birds” it would have been written by the 2nd Flock; ah I mean Tribe as you understand it. Within the Falconian people there are 11 flocks/tribes, 9 of which inhabit my home world. Two tribes were lost many centuries ago when we were forced to flee Earth. The 1st Flock/tribe, which were the primary ruling class and the 2nd Flock/Tribe, which were the Scholars and Physicians. Mine is the 3rd flock/tribe, which are the protectors and seekers of the Falconians. My people have suffered greatly from the loss and have relied on my flock/tribe to guide and protect them. My father sits on the High Perch; ah I mean throne as you might understand it and leads our people with the aid of the Counsel of 9, elders of each tribe,” Hawk told this in a whisper to Aarons.
“I will not breath a word of this Hawk, you can count on me, but why do you allow this to continue?” Michael inquired.
“Yes why indeed, I am torn between wanting advanced medical knowledge from Starfleet and finding my lost people verse taking a chance of total extermination if this information should fall into the wrong hands. Well, at the very least another long term war with running and hiding again for my people,” Hawk said with more emotion than Michael had ever seen from him.
“I just do not want to see you or your fine people harmed in any way,” Aarons concluded as they peered eye to eye and nodded, in understanding, as Hawk turn to rejoin Captain Cornette.
<Talking with Commodore Sonak>
“Yes Commodore that will be fine, however my Father and the Counsel of 9 would have to decide on any future relations with the Federation,” Hawk replied.
Sonak could tell Hawk was still not put at ease with her statement.
“I thank you Commodore for your concern for me and my people, but I fear that there are many others who also would be excited to know about my people. There are so many hunters in this galaxy that would pay or give anything to again hunt my people down and slaughter them, so please excuse me if I am a bit on edge over this mission,” Hawk snapped a bit as Captain Cornette reached out and gently squeezed his arm. This was a reminder of her support and for him not to show too much open emotion.
Hawk turned and looked at Kaylana, knowing what she meant with the squeeze and she could see the hurt in his eyes, which he seemed to hide from most other people.
Sonak believed that this could only benefit his people and seemed a bit surprised at Hawk’s response but then she did not know the Falconian race all that well yet.
“Captain, request permission to return to our ship,” Hawk said with a weak voice.
“Granted; Will you be in your quarters Mr. Hawk?” Kay inquired.
“No Sir… I am going home for a while,” Hawk replied as he slowly walked away.
Kay knew what he meant as she had been there some time back.
