The meeting between the two crews did not seem to go off as well as he liked. He knew the first officers would work out the details of the away teams as he took his seat he waited for Admiral Reckus to reply to his message something was odd about the planet. It was like he had seen it before in almost every detail something was nagging him about it.
" Mr Park you are cleared to launch when ready I want a open com channel to both ships. Please becareful I have no desire to break in another first officer that goest for you as well Mr. Parsons we have a hole work out to complete when you return. I believe I still owe you one from teh last time"
as he took his seat Mr. Seth handed him a pad with the duty roster and he listened to what he had to say. " Mr. Seth" he chuckled a little " The day you find a star ship with out some type of tentsion let me know because chances are you are dead. I have the up most faith in you and your abilities and trust you to perform if I didn't you wouldn't be on my bridge. As for your personal matter at the end of this mission and only then will we talk about it. Until then you are still my chief of operations and I want the best and that means you. So put the matter on the back burner trust me its not going anywhere right now"
Looking back at the view screen he hope his gut was wrong that this would be a easy mission. Then again if it was he wouldn't have needed the crew Vesuvius he still didn't know how to gage Admiral Reckus but only time would tell.

Dr. Grey pushed herself back from the conference table with the palms of her hands. Her idea of calling in the Klingon ambassadors was negated without a second thought. She wasn't pleased but found it didn't bother her much. Shrugging, Lucy nodded to the other officers as they all left the room.
Glancing at the Admiral and Colonel in turn, she said, calmly, "I still think it's a good idea to call in the Klingons. If the NX era crew came through, it will get pretty dicey. But I understand that if they did come in, then return, we might be under the Klingon influence right now."
The CMO didn't wait for a reply. They had said what needed to be said and rank won out in all disagreements.
In preparation to what might or might not happen, Lucy shut herself into a research lab. Within two hours, she emerged to accept the standard reports then shut herself back into the room.
::later::
"Doctor, hello," the Ops chief greeted. "Tell me, do you have anything for a painful back, spine, neck, anything like that?"
Dr. Grey's head snapped up at the unexpected greeting. She smiled with a cheerful recognition. "Sure," she said. Setting the microscope aside, Lucy picked up a tricorder. "What happened? Anything specific?"
Seth was led to the vicinity of a biobed, elaborating on the trouble he'd been having as he walked. "I felt it on the bridge. It feels almost like my whole spine is seizing up... It's limiting I can tell you." Seth frowned and looked at the doctor. "It's not the first time.. I think..."
"Mmmm...." Tapping at the tricorder, Lucy sent the resulting images into the main medical computer where it begin filtering through the database searching for a diagnoses. "Not getting anything back here, Seth," she said. "I'll give you 2cc morphenolog. Just an analgesic, nothing heavy-duty. But I want to do a complete workup as soon as we have time." Lucy sighed. "We need to get to the shuttle bay for our little away mission. I suspect we'll be back here in just a few hours. But if you feel any more pain, let me know. I'm prepared." Lucy pointed at the medikit she would be wearing.

Seth glanced down at the medikit pack, nodding appreciatively at the Doctor. "Thank you," he said to her. Seth couldn't understand where the ache in his back had come from, it had just burst into existence on the bridge, not long after he'd come out of the staff meeting.
"I suppose we should go then," he said, rubbing at his neck where the hypospray had been pressed to it, where it had injected the morphenolog into his bloodstream. His neck was already feeling better elsewhere, but it was a reaffirmation of the best of both worlds problem - one ache gone, another comes up. Seth had never been very good at dealing with hyposprays.
"Shall we go?" The COO asked the Doctor. They headed for the shuttlebay, arriving to find a slightly-larger-than-normal shuttlecraft, more of a 'Runabout', all prepped and ready for departure. Many of the away team members were already present, milling around beside the shuttle's hatch, readying themselves.
Seth knew that someone with extensive experience and insight with sensory equipment would be needed for this, in other words, his presence was required. And as, in reference to the constituents of the rest of the away team, Seth could fully understand the need for security officers carrying weapons on an operation like this... he could not help but think that there were a great many of them and not too many of other ship's departments. Except a few medics. Perhaps the Nevada and Vesuvius command officers thought they were dropping into a warzone... Seth pondered.
"Commander Park," Seth said upon approach to the Nevada XO, who was just now boarding the craft. "Did you think you could get away without taking me?" He joked. They took their seats, Seth being surprised to see the layout of the shuttle's main cabin.
The USS Arura lowered itself with ease on to the planet's barren surface. It was tinged with a strong red, but also counteracted in no small way by a dull grey, interspersed among the reddened ground.
"I would say this world is probably high on iron content." Seth made the stupid observation as he got out of his seat, heading for the main hatch. Commander Parsons, first officer of the Vesuvius was before him, stepping out on to the surface ahead of Seth, whom then came up alongside the Commander.
"That way," he confirmed with a glance at the tricorder. A quick look at Parsons informed the Vesuvius man that Seth was talking to him. The Guardian of Forever was behind an outjutting of rock, still out of sight from the away team's perspective.

OFF: bear in mind that my post will NOT have the away team go to the past......but BOTH ships. Meaning the ENTIRE crews will disappear from the 24th century and will appear in the 22nd. We'll apear in the year 2158, not too long after Wolf went from her time.
ON: " Admiral is it me or does the planet make you feel like you have seen it before someplace any way I suggest our away teams get ready and shuttle down still reading some enegery interference."
"I have not yet been to the Guardian of Forever," the Vulcan replied calmly, not surprised by the captain's agitation. "However the closer we get to the guardian, the stronger the distortion waves become. They are, after all temporal ripples."
She waited for Wolf to respond, but when he didn't, she called the briefing to an end and returned to her own ship. Parsons would be going with the away team, as would Rixxen and Kennedy. She would remain behind with the rest of the senior staff, awaiting the return of the teams, together with the remainder of Nevada's senior staff.
The Vulcan looked up when Harper took his seat next to her; the man looked nervous and she couldn't blame him. She wasn't exactly happy with the situation either. Suddenly, the time distortions seemed to be increasing and she felt the whole ship shudder. "Stabilise inertia dampeners!" she called out, "shut down the warpcore!"
It seemed to take forever until the shaking stopped, but by the time it did the bridge was filled with smoke and the main viewscreen was offline. "Medical to the bridge!" she ordered, as she knelt beside Harper's prone form. The man had been thrown from his seat and had headlong crashed into the station before him. "Report!" she ordered.
"Damage to engines," operations reported, "communications are online, shields are online, weapons offline. Cloak online but damaged. Maintenance crews are on their way for repairs."
"Contact Nevada," Sonak ordered, while going past fallen crewmembers to check on them before medical would arrive.
The main viewscreen flickered online again. "Where are we?"
The operations officer looked stricken, fear in her eyes as she looked up. "I don't know, the stars are all out of alingment. I'm extrapolating our course now, and going from there. My best guess, however is that we're no longer in our own time." She paled as data came in. "According to my data, we're in the 22nd century ma'am...but I'm not sure when...exactly. My best estimate is late 2150s, but I don't know when."
Sinking back in her seat, Sonak waited for Wolf to appear on the screen. "Colonel Wolf, report. What are your sensors telling you? We have sustained damage to our engines and weapons. Cloak is still operational."

She stood in sickbay with a rather distasteful look on her face, not only was shore-leave cut short but now the main console in sickbay seemed to be having a breakdown. Whenever she went to access a medical file something completely different and often frivolous popped up.
“No I don’t want to see a list of purple beverages.. open medical file for Crewman Charles West.”
Again the computer brought up a file about something off topic and Kerry-Anne slammed a fist down onto it. About to turn around she suddenly found herself off balance as the ship rocked with some degree of violence.
Her head hit the side of the console and she let out yelp of pain. After a minute the ship seemed to regain stability and she grabbed the console and lifted herself up. Feeling something run down her check she raised her hand to her head and felt what she didn’t need to see. Blood moving her hand up she felt the cut on her forehead about a centimetre above her left eye.
About to grab something to stop the bleeding a call came in the bridge for medical teams. Looking around sickbay many people had rushed off to other calls for medical attention. Letting out a growl of annoyance she grabbed a medical it and ran for the closest turbolift.
She stepped onto the bridge and knelt beside the body of a man who seemed to be breathing normally but was otherwise knocked out cold. Running a medical tricorder over him it became clear he was suffering from a sever concussion. Looking up at one of the two nurses who had followed her she said. “Get him to sickbay.. have one of the junior doctors treat him.”
His injuries while no doubt painful not worth the triage time of a senior doctor she went about scanning the rest of the bridge crew, they being notoruise for ignoring injury to continue work.
Making it to the Admiral who paced around talking to varuise people and looking at varuise scans kerry-Anne frowned as she said. “Stand still admiral.” Rather more harshly than intended the headache now gripping her added to her already foul mood made her less than pleasant.
The scans of the Admiral being satisfactory she moved along ignoring comments about herself and her own injuries until finally she flashed a look of anger at a young ensign. ‘Who is the doctor here?.. go to medical school for four years then come tell me about my health.. sit still and be silent.’
Running her tricorder over his body she eyed him annoyingly. ‘You have a broken rib.. get yourself to sickbay Now… your work can wait.”
Overhearing the conversations on the bridge she figured out that they were no longer in their own time. Rather than being fearful of the situation it only added to her already sizable foul disposition.

The meeting went about what she expected the Admiral seemed to be a nice person but tough. They were going back to where the Guardian now is and see if time has been changed and the possibility of the klingons from the past being here in the future.
She left the meeting slightly confused but time would tell if things were truly different, to her time was only different it was the future, and pretty much all of it was the same but different technology wise. She was lost in thought at her station when Commander Park called her to join the away team. She left the bridge and stopped by her quaerters grabbing her personnal hand phaser and tricorder that she learned quickly. She headed to the shuttlebay and met the Commander
"Commander Wolf did we get the scans from the planet?"
"Yes, theres no life down there and the ripples in time are there but not as strong as according to starfleet records of the USS Enterprise Ncc 1701." Sharon said.
"Thats great we will land 200 yards from the guardian or what every it is." Jon saw the rest of the away team and said "Great we are all here, Lets head out. Commander Wolf take the Conn."
Sharon took a seat and scanned the board quicly and found where to place her fingers, her long nails gently tapped the commands as the shuttle was pressurized and they left the ship, she was surprised how easily it handled. She landed the shuttle 200 yards from the guardian. She shut down the systems and they left the shuttle.
When Commander Park got close he asked a question, that was when everything changed, noone was answering his commbadge. Sharon took readings but they were inconclusive. "Commander I have taken readings and I cannot tell if the ships are still up there or not, theres to much interference." Sharon said.

It seemed like all at once every senor and alarm was going off as they felt the distortions hit each stronger then the next.
Tapping his com badge "Mr Dunowin shut down the engines now, I dont care how you do it but shut them down before we loose them"
The ship seemed to keep shaking like it was going to come apart, looking around he saw the concerned looks on his staff " Hold it together people we will make it through" and as quickly as it began it was over. Looking around the bridge " I need damage reports get our senors back on line and figure out where we are at"
He noticed the look on Ms. Parker face when she informed him the starts were out of drift. Which meant only one thing they were not in there time line. " I need a star date people and check on the Vesuvius see what damage they took"
As if on que he heard the admiral coming across the message was alittle garbled. " Admiral if you can hear me we are still assesing the damage it would seem we have some communication damage. The only thing we can confirm is we are not in our time line, if possible I ask if you can conseal us in your cloak. Until we figure out the damage and where and when we are"
Looking around Tapping his combadge "Doctor Grey I'll need to know how many injuired we have as soon as you can"
" Dunowin let me know the damage to the ship and quick repair time, Lets hope the admiral can assist us by cloaking us along with them"
" Also sombody get me a status on the away team we need to know if there here with us where ever that is." His gut told him they were in the past but with the malfunctions he could confirm it yet

The Guardian's voice was unexpectedly deep, slow and dramatic too. It gave off a general aura of reverence, as if it demanded respect. Unfortunately Seth did not have the chance to challenge it as everything started to speed up. Despite his unfamiliarity with this world, it was very obvious that the world was rotating at a much greater speed.
Days and nights came, the dark following the dirty orange light, until Seth eventually realised that there was something not right... they were moving backwards. His mouth opened to report the fact to the two first officers, but by this stage everyone was collapsing. It wasn't long until Seth blacked out, too.
The dozen Starfleet officers fell still, withered in a time warp of primordial rage. The intent of the Guardian might've been clear, its final plans however, its underlying reasons for propelling the away team back through the ages, would remain clouded.
An unknown length of time later...
=/\= Park to Nevada." There was no response. "=/\= Park to any starfleet personal please respond."
Seth rubbed at his neck at the place where the hypospray had been injected. He'd just got up, a short time after Commander Park presumably. A few others were awake, over fifty percent, but most were still too groggy to even consider the fact that their comrades remained unconscious. Seth went around, starting to wake people. Simultaneously, he listened to the exchange between Commanders Park and Wolf. The CTSO was speaking...
"Commander I have taken readings and I cannot tell if the ships are still up there or not, theres to much interference."
Seth heard Park begin a carefully considered response (tag Park), just as he himself was standing over Commander Parsons. The Vesuvius XO had been missed thus far by those who had already awoken. "Commander," Seth said, gently shaking the man's shoulder. Slowly, he regained consciousness.
<tag Parsons>
After they'd exchanged quick words, reaffirming the situation for themselves, Helacaan and Parsons headed over to Park. To the Nevada COO's shock, he heard a voice responding to Park's communication. It wasn't anyone they knew either. His eyes widening rapidly, Seth pulled the tricorder from his 'holster'.
"I'm going to run a voice check, this tricorder has a database expansion fitted. I have access to most of the Federation library, at least, the information that's pertinent to away missions. I just hope..." Seth, quite unusually, kept on nattering as he accessed the information. The voice on the end was still speaking to Park, but now Seth knew the identity of that voice. It was as he suspected. The voice was that of a Starfleet ship's CO, assumed to be long passed in terms of the twenty-fourth century, just as with his vessel itself... The away team had gone to the past.
"Sir," Seth said to Park, speaking low as to avoid interrupting him, "If you'll allow me to return to the shuttle, we have some equipment there which may allow us to confirm the distance to that ship you have contact with. I could do with a helping hand from somebody, as well, sir."
<tag Park>
Of course, it was only the start. Since the failed attempt at communication, the away team hadn't even started thinking about where the Nevada and Vesuvius were yet... Seth tilted his head in thought... there was good reason to believe they were still in the future.
<tag Nevada - Vesuvius... OOC: I know you are in the past with us by the way>

After attending the briefing where Dunowin had felt completely out of place being such a newbie aboard the Nevada, he had made his way down to engineering and began working on the report that the Colonel had asked for about Starfleet cloaking devices. Just as he was finishing up, when sensors and equipment began buzzing and humming as if they were all going off at once. The ship started to shake violently.
"Mr Dunowin shut down the engines now, I don't care how you do it but shut them down before we loose them"
His first thought was to eject the warp core but he quickly dismissed it not wanting to leave the ship without one. He immediately began transferring all power away from the engines as he called orders to his crew.
"Korran. Start realigning all engine power chips so that the power feeds through to the shields. Since we aren't gonna use engines for now might as well make the power useful elsewhere."
With Korran handling the chips, Dunowin headed for the door. "I'll be on the bridge, Korran. You're in charge down here."
Dunowin felt the engines go cold before he reached the turbo lift. 30 seconds later, he was exiting onto the bridge and headed for the Engineering station provided there.
"Engines are down, sir." he announced. When the Colonel looked his way with a questioning glance, he simply replied, "Thought it would make things easier if I were here, sir. I can return to Engineering if you wish."
OOC: Hope this gets me back in the loop. Let me know if I need to change anything.

Sorry. Lengthy backpost...
Ensign Shakaar Braylin stood impatiently at the main hatch of the ISS Dallan. The rattletrap freighter had been the only one that had been on its' way from Starbase 512 where he had been dropped by the USS Cheyenne to Starbase 47, where his first assignment as Science Officer aboard the USS Vesuvius was to begin.
However, the Dallan's warp drive had suffered a malfunction en route, and Shakaar had been enlisted to help out. It had taken almost two days to work the kinks out of the engines and coax warp speed out of them. Now he was late. Fortunately it didn't seem to matter as the Vesuvius had been schedule for shore leave once it got back to base.
The main hatch finally opened and the young Bajoran ensign walked down the main gangway and entered Starbase 47. He had been in bases like this most of his life, and Starbase 47 seemed little different. It was nice to be off the Dallan though.
There was a lieutenant commander standing in front of a large console. Probably the dock master, Shakaar thought to himself as he walked over. "Excuse me sir" he said, and the commander looked up. Shakaar handed over his orders. "My name is Ensign Shakaar Braylin and I have been assigned to the USS Vesuvius. I have been told that the ship is here as the crew is on shore leave. Can you give me directions please?"
The commander took Shakaars orders and gave them a cursory look, but seemed slightly puzzled. "Shore leave? I don't think so. I seem to recall that the ship had been ordered out on a mission." The officer entered some commands into his console. "Sorry ensign, the Vesuvius has been given mission orders and is in the process of leaving starbase. If you hurry you might be able to catch it. She's at Dock 195."
Shakaar's stomach sank. It could be months before his ship was back, seeing as he didn't know the nature of the mission. "Which way?" he demanded. The Commander gave some fast directions and Shakaar started running through the Starbase.
Shakaar lost his way twice in the immense starbase as he hurried, trying to catch up to his ship. He finally arrived at Dock 195, only to find the main hatch closed. He hurried up to a crewman who was standing nearby, manning a primary airlock console. "Has the Vesuvius left yet?" he said breathlessly.
The crewman looked up from his readout. "Yes, sir. She pulled out about 10 minutes ago. You still might be able to beam aboard, if you hurry."
Shakaar smacked his fist into his hand in frustration. "Which way to the nearest transport station?" he said loudly. The crewman gave directions, Shakaar gathered up his gear and started running again. This time he only got lost once as he ran. After several minutes, he arrived at the transport station and burst in, startling the lieutenant manning it.
"My name is Ensign Shakaar and I've been assigned to the Vesuvius, but she's left without me. Can you beam me aboard?" he nearly yelled.
The lieutenant checked started entering commands, then shook his head. "Sorry, the Vesuvius just entered warp. She's out of range."
Shakaar nearly collapsed. He had been doing a lot of running in the last few minutes for nothing. There was still one thing he could try. Shakaar found a comm monitor and called up to Starbase 47 Traffic Control. A Bajoran answered. "Commander Kell. Can I help you ensign?"
"I hope so sir" Shakaar replied. "My name is Shakaar Braylin and I've been assigned to the USS Vesuvius as Chief Science Officer. The freighter that I was in to get here broke down enroute and I'm late. I've been running for the last 20 minutes trying to get aboard, but she's out of range of the transporter. Can I get a shuttle to transfer me to the Vesuvius?"
Commander Kell looked doubtful. "Sorry ensign, the Vesuvius has been assigned a high priority mission. I doubt that I could arrange..." The commander stopped and a look of recognition crossed his face. "What did you say your name was?"
Shakaar braced himself. His family name might come in handy again. "Ensign Shakaar Braylin."
"Are you related to Shakaar Edon? Former First Minister of Bajor?" the commander said excitedly.
Shakaar smiled. "I'm his grandson."
Commander Kell seemed delighted. "My father fought with Shakaar Edon against the Cardassians. He spoke of your grandfather with respect. There was great sadness when your grandfather died." Kell looked thougtful for a moment, then leaned toward the screen and whispered "Report to Dock 170, Ensign. I'll see what I can do."
Shakaar nodded eagerly, closed the connection and started to gather his gear back up.
-Several hours later aboard the USS Rhine, Starfleet shuttlecraft-
"Do you think that you could go a little faster?" Shakaar asked.
The Bajoran lieutenant flying the shuttle looked back. "We're already beyond proscribed Starfleet speeds, ensign." He smiled slightly. "However, we're a long way from Starfleet right now." The lieutenant turned back to the controls and tapped a few buttons. In response, the light tracks outside the main screen lengthened. The lieutenant continued to examine the readouts. "Getting something on long range sensors. It's the Vesuvius. Odd, the USS Nevada is there as well." The Bajoran shrugged. "Guess it doesn't matter. Here we go. I hope their comm officer is gullible." The lieutenant opened a channel. "USS Vesuvius, this is the USS Rhine. I've been ordered to carry out a personel transfer to your ship."
"Rhine, this is Vesuvius. How did you get this location?" an angry voice replied.
The pilot grimaced and closed his eyes. "Vesuvius, this is an official personel transfer from Starbase 47 to your ship. I received your location from Starbase 47 command. If you don't want your new Chief Science Officer, that's fine with me. Just give me your name so I can pass it on when he and I get back to Starbase." The Bajoran glanced at Shakaar, with a look that said pray to the Prophets. Shakaar complied.
There was silence across the comm for a few moments, then the voice said "All right, we'll beam him aboard. Once we have him, get back to Starbase."
"With pleasure Vesuvius. Rhine out." The lieutenant closed the channel and turned to Shakaar. "Well we did it. A pleasure to assist the grandson of Shakaar Edon, Ensign."
"Thank you lieutenant" Shakaar replied. The Bajoran suddenly felt the grasp of the transporter beam and the interior of the shuttle dissolved, to be replaced by the main transport room of the Vesuvius. Shakaar pulled out his orders and presented them to the lieutenant manning the transporter console. "Ensign Shakaar reporting for duty."
OOC Well, at least I'm aboard. I'll start posting something useful as soon as I finish the mission logs.

Seth had left sickbay as quickly as he could. Of course. Did anyone linger in sickbay of their own accord? Lucy asked herself. She didn't bother to answer. But she also knew that Seth (or Jon Park for that matter) would have stayed around to chat if there had been time.
Dr. Grey was suddenly flung against the desk. Her thigh hit just below the hip creating a sensation of numbing pain. Squeezing her eyes shut, she instantly started rubbing the sore spot and endured the ache until it passed. She glanced around the office quickly, spotting two padds that had unfortunately been too near the edge of the desk.
"Elron," Lucy called, "I want injury reports on the double."
"Reports coming in now, doctor!" Elron Devon, RN, called back.
"Doctor Grey I'll need to know how many injured we have as soon as you can," flowed over her comm badge.
Lucy tapped her badge in return, "Aye, aye, sir. I'll have that in 10 minutes."
Racing into the main exam room, the CMO stopped in time to avoid running into two aides as they rushed around preparing for casualties. A nurse pointed at the medical computer sitting to her left. Two quick steps brought Lucy to a scrolling screen of a deck by deck listing.
Downloading the data onto a padd, she left sickbay to her competent staff and headed for the bridge. I should have been with the away team, she thought.
::bridge::
The bridge doors swooshed open to a tense calm. Dr. Grey stepped to the right, stopping next to Dunowin. "What happened?"
<TAG: Dunowin>
"Sorry, ensign, but I don't believe in time warps. Or going back in time. Or even forward for that matter."
<TAG: Dunowin>
"I'll take your word for that."
Lifting her chin, Lucy moved into the command pit, taking a seat in the counselor's chair. "Casualties are light, sir. Mostly bumps and bruises. What's going on?"
<TAG: Runningwolf>
"Are we certain, sir?"
<TAG: Runningwolf>
At the sound of the turbolift doors opening, Lucy glanced backward. A Bajoran ensign stepped onto the bridge.

Commander Park took the command console and Parsons stood nearby. Commander Wolf took the Conn as ordered and Ensign Rixen took the tactical station. Dr. Kennedy had opted to stay aboard the Vesuvius and a medic was assigned to take her place. The medic sat with a couple of security officers from the Vesuvius on some benches in a compartment behind the command area.
Once the awayteam had safely reached the planet's surface, Park exited the shuttle followed by the rest of the team.
Commander Park approached a huge brick looking object and a voice seemed to project from the brick. It seemed to be asking if the team had come to repair the past, or was it telling them they had. That was the last thought Parsons had before waking groggy and feeling as if he had been hit by a large object. He could see the forms of the rest of the crew on the ground. Then Adam could make out what appeared to be a fuzzy silhouette of Commander Park sitting up. Park tried the comm, but received no immediate response.
Adam propped himself up on his elbows and squinted to look around. He saw Commander Wolf rise to her feet.
Lieutenant Seth Helacaan, the Nevada's Chief of Operations was the next on his feet. He started moving around waking the members of the team still on the ground. Adam sat up and rubbed his face before standing. Commander Wolf also indicated that she could not reach either of the orbiting ships. "Keep trying to raise them, Commander," Parsons said to Wolf. Then he added, "what the hell just happened," directing this second comment to no one in particular.
"I have a theory," Adam was surprised at Lieutenant Helacaan's response. "Go ahead, Lieutenant," Commander Parsons responded.

Suddenly there was a response from the comm, but it was an unknown voice.
"I'm going to run a voice check, this tricorder has a database expansion fitted. I have access to most of the Federation library, at least, the information that's pertinent to away missions. I just hope..." Helacaan reported.
"Sir, if you'll allow me to return to the shuttle, we have some equipment there which may allow us to confirm the distance to that ship you have contact with. I could do with a helping hand from somebody, as well, sir." Without waiting for Park to respond Parsons said, "See to it, Lieutenant."

This was certainly strange. First they were transported in what appeared to be the past, and then a new ensign materialises in her transporter room. "Report to the bridge ensign," she ordered sharply, before turning to the image of Wolf on the main screen.
"We do not have a fully operational cloaking device," she informed the marine commanding officer, "however there is something we could try..." She paused, looking over her shoulder at Harper. "Prepare for MVA," she ordered, "report to Mercury." Her eyes settled on the chief medical officer, who was kneeling beside one of the injured. Briefly, she considered ordering her to Discordia, but she was needed here. "Commander O'Malley," she called, tapping her combadge, "we are engaging MVA. Report to Discordia to take command."
"Yes ma'am!" the assistant chief engineer replied enthusiastically.
"How is he?" the Vulcan asked, looking at the doctor again, "is he stable to transport to sickbay?" There was so much going on, she didn't really know where to start. Her eyes moved back to the screen. "Colonel, what is the status of the shuttlecraft? Where are they, I cannot find them on our sensors. However, it could very well be our sensors were damaged in our transition."
Sonak felt the tell-tale shudder of the ship breaking apart into three modules. "Discordia, Mercury, move aflank of Nevada and extend our cloaking field around the vessel. We will attempt to engage Minerva's cloak as soon as we can." It was fortunate that the saucer module of the Vesuvius wasn't too large, and could possibly pass for an NX class module.
"Doctor, how well-versed are you with holo-technology?" she finally asked, "Colonel Wolf, can your CMO transport to my vessel? I need her expertise overhere. If we are to remain undetected, my module needs to be converted to an NX class vessel, using external holographic processors. Your CMO and your CEO, if you please."

Looking up as his chief engineer enter the bridge to break the news he knew was coming.
"Very well Mr. Dunowin remain on the bridge get your teams working on the engines as soon as possible. Also see if you can firm the Vesuvius findings as well. Our star charts confirm we are in the past at present. Senors can be fooled I would like to give the Admiral a little more solid proof by supporting her findings."
He mind was split right now he had a ship to worry about and away team. Where were they when doctor Grey sat down and gave him the first peace of good news for a change.
" Thats good to hear Doc injuries are light as for where we are it would be more like when we are. By all accounts we are in the past in a time line where the Federation was just about at its begining. I'll have more when Dunowin can confirm"
As Doctor Grey sat there He heard the admiral come back on the line. This time Dunowin had worked his magic and the communication was good " What ever you can do Admiral would be helpful. I would suggest letting the Nevada handle Senor readings and such to make up for the power drain on your end. Do you need any medical assistance we suffered only minor injuries I can spare my doctor to assist yours if needed." pausing for a moment
"No Admiral I have not heard from the away team. To be honest I was hoping you might have heard something. Everything went of line at once. We just got communications up and running, what ever sent here did a number on our warp engines"
" Mr. Dunowin as soon as you can get all major systems back on line. Also kill our transponder for now I don't need anybody reading. There are a few races that could pick it up in this time line. Also I know I'm stacking alot on your plate but see about getting shields up and possible extending them around the Vesuvius just in case. There going to be burning alot of power trying to cloak us and I don't want to leave them hanging in the wind in case something happens."
Looking back at the view screen " Well Admiral I don't understand exactly what happened but somebody or something wanted us hear. By all accounts I'm guessing we are hear for a reason and hopefuly it will become clear shortly."

"What happened?" Dunowin looked up from his station to the CMO standing next to him.
"I just arrived myself, Ma'am." he replied. "But from what I've been told so far, it appears as if we've traveled back in time."
"Sorry, ensign, but I don't believe in time warps. Or going back in time. Or even forward for that matter."
"I would normally agree with that, Ma'am. Hell. All I've ever done is read about it at the Academy. But from all our sensor readings, it appears as if we have gone back in time, Doctor."
"I'll take your word for that."
Dunowin turned back to his readouts as she moved away toward the CO. He was concentrating so hard on the task at hand, that at first, he didn't hear the Colonel call him.
"Mr.
"Aye, sir." he answered as he turned back to his console and punched a few controls. "Transponder is now offline, sir." He than tapped his commbadge.
=^=Korran. I'm on my way back down. I want the warp engine isolinear chips reworked so that the warp engine is back online. Have it done by the time I get there.=^=
=^=Yes, sir.=^= came the reply.
He than turned back to the center seat. "Permission to leave the bridge, sir?" he asked.
<Tag Colonel>
As he entered the turbo lift, he could be heard giving orders. "Computer. Alert Beta shift to report to Engineering right away."
Less than a minute later, he entered Engineering to find most of Beta shift already there.
"Wow. That was quick." he said with a grin.
"Most of us headed down here as soon as the ship started shaking, sir." said a young female ensign.
"Good call. Now listen up people. We have apparently traveled back in time. No questions yet." he quickly added as some of his staff started to mumble. "What I need is some brain storming. The Vesuvius is going to attempt to take a hold of us in her cloaking device. This is going to take alot of their power so the Colonel wants us to find a way to extend our shields around the other ship. So start racking those brains people."

"Go ahead, Lieutenant.."
"The Guardian has sent us back in time, many, many years I would suspect," Seth replied to Parsons. "I don't know exactly how far, of course," he stared in wonder up at the orangeish atmosphere above and all around him. "Or should I say.. how long."
Alone on the planet of the Guardian of Forever, aware of their location in space but not exactly that of time, the away team went about trying to rectify the predicament they found themselves in. They were so insignificant on the large scale, and unbeknownst to them their respective motherships were in orbit... Just as they had been, but again unbeknowingly, two centuries in the past.
The odd thought that came to Seth then was that it was a quick return to the past for Sharon Wolf. And from the looks of his tricorder readings - the database records therewithin - she was back in the exact time from whence she had come.
"The voice you are hearing, Commander," Seth spoke to Park, referring to the voice on the other end of the communicator, "Is that of a Starfleet commander from two centuries ago. We are now, at my best guess, in the mid to late 22nd century. Wolf's time." He shot a look at the Nevada's new CTSO.
<tag Park>
"I'll need a length of time longer to deduce the identity of that ship, however. The Captain commanded numerous vessels over the course of their career.... There are three, perhaps four, possibilities." In the mean time.... Seth thought, he had a subspace transmitter detection unit to deploy.
"See to it, Lieutenant." Parsons nodded his way, taking responsibility for both crews' duties what with Commander Park still engaged in the communication attempts.
"Yes, sir," Seth replied. He looked around briefly, eyes settling on one person in particular. "Commander Wolf, I have a plan to find the distance to that ship out there, it's our best hope right now if there are no other Starfleet ships in the immediate volume. Would you care to help me with the transmitter unit?"
<tag Wolf>
The two headed back to the Runabout-styled shuttlecraft. "So," Seth started, not having forgotten the pledge made with himself to talk with Sharon Wolf, "What decade of the twenty-second century are you from?"
They reached the shuttle, pulling the equipment from it in short order, nearly accidentally breaking several of the components on the planet's uncushioned surface in the process. Slowly, they began the process of setting it up. Conversation was mainly short and hard to come by. However, it facilitated the work nicely.
"Let us try this out then," Seth said... This was an area of expertise for him; the setting-up of comm units - a necessary part of ground communications on his troubled home-colony - was almost second nature. This was mildly different of course but the underlying principles remained unchanged. He initiated the transmitter device, the subspace-drive relays instantaneously charging up and firing a pulse through that interdimensional layer up into the heavens. The ray would reflect off its target - the unseen Starfleet ship - and a return signal would register on the transmitter unit approximately ten minutes later. The process would be faster for a starship-sized version of course, but the tangible space required to facilitate near-instant subspace communication needed a conventional-mode vessel, one of at least fifty metres length. So in other words, the bodged transceiver was absolutely necessary.
"What are the Klingons like this from this time?" Seth asked Wolf. The question had just occurred to him, he'd been thinking back to the staff meeting on the Nevada. So far away now... Or so he thought.

" Permission Granted Mr. Dunowin make sure you share your findings and ideas with the Vesuvius as well. Might cut down on repair times for both ships at least lets hope it might"
Looking back at the view screen he wasn't happy having to rely on the Vesuvius for help right now but there was little choice. Besides in trueth she was the perfect ship for helping with the cloak it gave them something they needed the ablitiy to hide. Looking around "Okay people we are here and we can be safe in assuming here is in the past. So lets start working on long range scans and see what else is around. I don't want to run into anything that might upset the time line. Also see if anybody can find the away team we need to know if there here with us or stuck in our future"
" Admiral when ever you ready to cloak please do so, the longer we are visisble the more chances we take of changing the time line. My ship will run long range scans for other ships in the area to make up for your powere drain hiding us and feed it to your computers"

The blood form her head injury now dripped off of her cheek and onto her uniform. She mumbled a rather salty and filthy Bajoran curse under her breath as she noticed the stain now on her tunic.
Looking around she thrust a dermal regenerator into the hand of a young ensign and said. “If you please.”
He was nervous as he ran it over the wound and he gazed at her face hard in case he hurt her. After a few moment he was satisfied the wound was closed and he handed back the device.
Giving a nod and a small smile she said. “thank you ensign.”
Turning at the Admirals question on the condition of the injured man who’s head had hit the wall she replied. “He is about to be transported Admiral.. he will be fine.”
The Admiral then went back to talking to Colonel Wolf and Kerry-Anne continued to scan the bridge crew. After a few minutes the Admiral again questioned her.
“Holo-technology? I can repair the emergency Medical Hologram or program surgical training routines but I wouldn’t say I was expertly skilled Admiral.’
Hearing the request for the Nevada CMO and CEO to beam over to help with the plan Sonak had formulated Kerry-Anne again sighed slightly. She tapped a comm. Panel and said. “Doctor Kennedy to Doctor Grey.. We have need of your skills on the Vesuvius.. please transport over I will meet you in our transporter room. Oh and bring your Chief Engineer.. the Admiral has something tricky in mind we could use all the skill we can get.. kennedy out.”
<Tag Dr. Grey and Nevada CEO>
Walking off of the bridge Kennedy went to greet the Doctor and the Engineer in the transporter room.

It had been an extremely confusing time for the Bajoran Ensign. He was the Chief Science Officer of the USS Vesuvius, and had barely caught up to the ship before it had started on a new mission, the nature of which was completely unknown to him. The lieutenant who had beamed him off of the Rhine had informed him that he had just missed a meeting which might have shed some light on what was going on. Ensign Shakaar couldn't do anything about that, so he shrugged and decided to find his new quarters and stow his gear. Once that was done, he would report to...Shakaar checked his orders...Admiral Sonak Reckus. His stomach tightened. He had never spoken to an admiral before. A Vulcan. Even better. Shakaar shook his head, arrived at his quarters and dumped his gear.
Shakaar took a fast look around his room. Very standard. Not wanting to keep the Admiral waiting, he left and found the nearest turbolift. It was empty when it arrived. As it ascended to the bridge, the floor started shaking violently and Shakaar was thrown down. He tumbled around the inside of the turbolift like a six sided die in a cup. The shaking ceased as quickly as it had started and Shakaar stood, uninjured, and got the lift moving again.
Once he arrived on the bridge, he found a scene of chaos. There were a number of injured on the deck. The Admiral was stalking around the bridge, peering at various readouts as the bridge crew tried to get the ship back under control. Gritting his teeth, just wanting to get it over with, Shakaar marched over to the Admiral. "Excuse me sir." Admiral Reckus looked up from the tactical readout at him. "Ensign Shakaar Braylin, Chief Science Officer, reporting for duty. What are my orders?"
<Admiral Reckus>
"Yes sir."
Shakaar turned to carry out the Admiral's orders.

Sharon was sorta dizzy from the time distortion, now thy were in her time period. She shook her head to clear it.
"Commander Park, we need to be very careful now, klingons of this period are not friendly and tend to fire first ask questions later." Sharon stated.
<Park>
She nodded to Seth and they headed back to the runabout that was about a kilometer south of their present position, they headed to the runabout and entered Seth asked her a question.
"What are the Klingons like this from this time?" Seth asked.
"They are dangerous and will shoot first and ask questions later Lieutenant. I wish I could answer your decade question but with the time distortion it has made me a bit dizzy." Sharon said falling into the seat.

Looking over at Doctor Grey he nodded his head when he heard the request for assistance.
" Go ahead Doc give them a hand we got lucky they took the brunt of it, we got lucky and were tucked in on the other side of them when things went crazy. Grabb Mr. Dunowin and see what you help them"
Looking back at the long range scans he almost missed something. It would have caused him to much concern in his own time line but here it was out of place. Studying it some more he realized it was a failed cloak. Who ever was trying to use didn't seem to know exactly what they were doing.
Looking back at the view Screen and hailing Admiral " Admiral long range scans just detected a massive power out put to a cloak. The cloaking signal we picked up is out of place by quite a lot. Who ever it is doesn't seem to know how to balance there power flow and its bleeding off making it show up on our scans. I'm transmitting a course to you now, when your able to get under way I suggest we find out whats going on here."
" I also still haven't gotten any new information on the away team. It might be possible there still stuck in the future but thats a guess until more proof can be found. I also have had our transponder switched off to prevent being picked up by anybody. I'm not sure how your cloak works so please let me know what else we will need to do to make this happen"

Looking over at Doctor Grey Colonel Runningwolf nodded his head when he heard the request for assistance.
"Go ahead Doc give them a hand we got lucky they took the brunt of it, we got lucky and were tucked in on the other side of them when things went crazy. Grabb Mr. Dunowin and see what you help them"
Placing her hands on the arms of the chair, Dr. Grey gave herself a push upward. "Sure thing, sir." She tapped her comm badge and said into it as she moved toward the turbolift doors, "Grey to Kennedy. On my way. Grey out."
Inside the 'lift, Lucy hit her comm badge once again. "Dr. Grey to Dunowin. Lt, we've been tagged to join the crew of the Vesuvius. Seems they can use our assistance."
<TAG: Dunowin>
"I'll meet you in the transporter room, lieutenant. Grey out."
Lucy made a quick run through sickbay and her office. She issued orders to her staff regarding keeping up on things in her absence while assuring them that she had full confidence in them. Nurse Elron handed her a second trauma kit which she dismissed. "They have a sickbay over there, I think. Let's give them the benefit of the doubt, shall we?"
Looking a little foolish, Elron Devin grinned. "Of course. Don't know what I was thinking, there."
The CMO giggled. "If we didn't make mistakes, we'd never learn anything, nurse."
::30 minutes later::
The Nevada's transporter pad's pale blue light faded to the sight of an identical pad. Out of the corner of her eye, Lucy saw Lt. Dunowin scoping out the room. She imagined he was trying to figure out where the engine room was. Just as she was imagining where sickbay would be.
<TAG: Kennedy>
"Call me Lucy. This is Lt(jg) Dunowin, CEO. Just let us know where you need us."

The blue transporter beam brought Grey and Dunowin onto the transporter padd. Kennedy stepped forward a neutral look on her face the foul mood that encircled her would not allow a smile to form on her lips.
Grey introduced the two and asked to be called Lucy, Kennedy gave a nod and said. “Kerry-Anne nice to meet you both wish it were under less stressful circumstances though.. fortunately we didn’t suffer any bad injuries only bumps and bruises and a few broken bones.. but the fact this ship has three sickbays to manage will be the death of me.. The Admiral is on the bridge she has something in mind to do with Holo-technology but I am no expert hence the reason you’re here.. but I will let her explain.. follow me.”
<Tag both>
Taking the lead as the three walked out of the transporter room Kennedy let out a sigh as she saw one of her nurses walking towards her with a padd. Never a good sign for Kennedy these days.
“Doctor Kennedy.. the diagnostic program in main sickbay is offline.. and engineering is too busy to get anybody down to look at it.”
With a heavy sigh Kerry-Anne took the padd from the nurse and replied. “I will talk to the Engineers but until then you will just have to use tricorders and do the best you can.”
The nurse nodded and walked away . Kerry-Anne turned to her guests and said. “I applogise in advance for this.” She then tapped her comm.. badge.
‘Kennedy to Engineering.” The reply came from a middle aged man who sounded as stressed as kennedy did.
“Yes Doctor we know about your problem but I don’t have anybody to spare at the moment maybe in an hour.”
With a low growl Kennedy raised her voice and replied. “NO you get someone to look at it now!.. or I am going to come down there and make your life very very unpleasant.. Trust me when I say you don’t want come down there!”
His reply more timid than the last time. “Okay doctor, I will go myself.”
With a nicer tone of voice Kennedy replied. “Thank you Andrew.. very much appreciated… Kennedy out.” The comm. Chanel closed and under her breath Kennedy muttered. “Idiot.’
The three made it to the bridge and Kennedy looed to Admiral Reckus and said. “Admiral.. Doctor Grey and lieutenant Dunowin.. I left the explanation of your plan for you to give.”

Dunowin left Korran in charge and made his way to the transporter room when the CMO called. A few moments later, they were in the transporter room of the other ship. There was a Lt there awaiting there arrival and after introductions were made, they headed for the bridge. Just as they entered the corridor, the Vesuvius officer was approached by another and they spoke briefly. Dunowin couldn't help but to over hear and was just about to offer his services when Lt. Kennedy "settled" the situation.
"Remind me not to get on her bad side." he jokingly whispered to Dr. Grey.
They continued making their way to the bridge and was introduced to the Admiral upon arriving. Dunowin was secretly hoping that his nervousness did not show. Sure, there had been admirals at the graduation ceremony, but he didn't speak to any of them and certainly hadn't been this close to one.
"An honor to meet you, Ma'am." he said during introductions. He than stood silently by and waited to hear what she had in mind.

Jon heard what seth said and replied. "We need to mask our lifesigns and we need to recalibrate our systems so we don't breck the temproal prime directive. Seth try and see if we can locate any other temproal signitures."
