He finally gotten word that finding and secureing the Gaurding of forever was not the highest level of importance. Until Commander Wolf appeared everybody assumed there was only one now there were 2. He been pushing star fleet hard on locating and securing the 2nd guarding every since wolf reported she jumped into because of a klingon attack. What worried him was what if some of the klingons had come through and went back again. It appeared star fleet shared the same concern so much so they were going to send help a crew that had experience on time travel.
Finshing up his report he signaled the bridge for a course change it would take them a couple of hours to reach the last know location of Commander wolf landing party. He would have to have a staff meeting shortly but first he needed to contact the other ship that would be asssisting them. He had never met Admiral Reckus nor the crew of the Vesuvius. When he checked there mission longs some were classified beyound his level. Still any help would be welcomed with so many unkowns it was time to see if any damage had been done.
Sitting back he opened a priority 1 channel to Admiral Reckus a few moments later she came on screen " Admiral I'm colonel wolf you should be getting orders to report to my location shortly if in fact right now. We have a problem one that I dont feel comfortable discussing on a open channel no matter how secure somebody tells me. What I will tell you is that I have a new officer aboard name Commander Wolf from the U.S.S Challenger. He hoped he had given her enough information as to why he needed her assistance. I look forward to working with you Admiral and will meet you enroute. I will hold of on any staff meetings until you arrive to get your input Admiral may the wind be at your back wolf out"<Tag Reckus>
A few minutes later he called for his first officer as usual Mr. Park was quick to respond and he entere the ready room and took a seat. " Mr. Park for the moment the issues with Mr. Seth are on the back burner. This does not mean they are forgotten Star fleet has just place more importance on our current mission. It would seem star fleet shares my concerns about how Commander wolf came to us. Since at the time it was only know about one guarding of forever not two even more of the fact she was force into it by klingons less friendly then ours today. Our job is to locate the site and secure and to figure out if anybody else has come through and return. The time line is now a issue every moment could bring a change. The Crew of the U.S.S Vesuvius will be joining us on this mission they seemed to have some experience this matter. Until they arrive we will do long range scans and confirm our findings with the admiral science department. They have few more resources then us becasue of there class of ship"
" Assemble a small away team and prep a shuttle after the admiral arrives with her crew we will send a mix crew to explore the region. We will settle on who's in charge after they arrive make sure you include Commander Wolf on the away team"
" Also make sure all protocals are followed when the admiral arrives. She's a flag officer and I expect our crew to give her the respect due her rank thats all. Have Mr. Seth report to me when he's done with his shift we have a few things to talk about" <Tag Park>

Having just returned to starbase for some well deserved shoreleave, Sonak caught the incoming message just before she was about to leave her readyroom, and spend some time with her family.
" Admiral I'm colonel wolf you should be getting orders to report to my location shortly if in fact right now. I will hold of on any staff meetings until you arrive to get your input Admiral may the wind be at your back wolf out"
The Vulcan admiral gazed at the screen, her face utterly impassive. She had heard the name Challenger before. In fact, she had read reports from another vessel, picking up people who had originally served on Challenger* and were now passangers aboard that vessel, until they could return to base.
"Orders are indeed coming in Colonel Wolf," she replied, as her eyes fell on the incoming message on a secondary monitor. They were quickly decrypted and analysed by her quick mind. "We shall be setting course immediately. Our ETA is eight hours." This time, her features mellowed a little. "Keep the bloodwine warm colonel, we shall have a toast to a successful mission. Vesuvius out."
Sighing, the Vulcan tapped a series of commands into her terminal. "All hands this is the captain. Shoreleave has been canceled. We are to report to the last known location of USS Nevada, and assist them in their mission. Upon arrival, senior staff will transport to Nevada for staff briefing. Commander Parsons, report to my readyroom immediately. Doctor Kennedy, prep sickbay, Ensign Rixxen, make sure you run staff drills. We need you and the marines to work togeter as much as possible."

*Taking a little liberty here, am referring to Saryn being aboard Victory, but that isn't officially reported by Wong just yet. I'm just applying a little fluidic timeline here. Also, while I have tagged now, I am not usually in the habit of tagging people, especially not mid post. I expect my posts to be read by those needing to participate in the mission. Just as you all expect me to read yours in return.[/color]

Commander Jon Park was walking back to his mother's Quarters with his father, Lt6.Commander Michael Park. He was hoping he was not going to have to attend a Court Marshal for his Father.
He was just getting back with his father when his combadge went off. =/\= "Commander park please report to my ready room." Jon just looked at his Father and stopped at the junction and his Father nodded to him and he went right to the nearest turbolift. "Bridge." The lift went up as he reached deck 1 he wondered what was going to happen now. Was Commander Wolf going to Intel? Was his Father going to have a trial?? He stepped out and was handed a Padd right away. He read it fast and saw a few things he liked and some he didn't like , But it would have to wait till later.
Entering the Colonel's Ready room he stood and waited to be invited to sit, that happened a moment later. Then Runningwolf started. "Assemble a small away team and prep a shuttle after the admiral arrives with her crew we will send a mix crew to explore the region. We will settle on who's in charge after they arrive make sure you include Commander Wolf on the away team".
Park listened and understood why Commander Wolf would be so important on this away mission. But Park had a question. "Sir i know Commander Wolf will be vital for this mission, However i don't know if she is up to speed on current Starfleet Security procedures."
<Tag Runningwolf.>
Jon listened and saw the incite he had. "I will get her up to speed and I would recommend that Commander Thomas remain for the time being as Second in command of Security so she has someone to assist her if it's needed." Jon knew this was a gamble the heads of departments chose who was under them, But he would hope his pull as former head of security and other then Doctor Grey was the only other member of the crew who was here since Captain Nack.
<Tag Runningwolf>
Jon was not ready to hear they were going to be joined by a Starfleet Admiral but then Runningwolf said. "Also make sure all protocols are followed when the admiral arrives. She's a flag officer and I expect our crew to give her the respect due her rank thats all. Have Mr. Seth report to me when he's done with his shift we have a few things to talk about"
"Aye sir, Dress uniform's???" Jon asked but he already knew the answer. He hated the dress uniforms but he would wear it when needed. "As for Seth sir i will relay the message and i would like to act as his council should that need become a reality, As first officer and former head of Security i feel it was in some way my fault."
<Tag Runningwolf>
Jon went out after specking to his CO and he was ready to get things done. He headed to his Chair and tapped his console. He saw that a shuttle was being prep but it was for something else. He put in a request for a type 11 Shuttle. Right away he saw he request filled and started to get it prepped. Then he had the other stuff to do, Jon tapped his combadge =/\= "Park to Commander Wolf, I hope your feeling better but i would like to see you in my Office at 1400 this afternoon."
<Tag Wolf>
Jon then knew what was next. =/\= Park to Lt.Helcaan. Seth i Need to see you right away, But the Colonel would like to speck to you at the end of your shift." Jon didn't want to give to much away but he knew he had to follow the Chain of Command and this was a FO's Issue first.

The CMO rubbed both hands over her face, soothing the tiredness away. Well, almost. Fingering her eyes closed, she moaned with a wariness she hadn't felt in a long time. Medical supplies and equipment still littered her office floor. All had been accounted for but it was up to her and three of her Physicians Assistants to put it away. Narcotics was always a pain to deal with after securing supplies from Starbase Assailant.
"Dr. Grey?" Dr. Lisa Story, her assistant, asked, getting her attention. "Inventory is finished. We are missing two vials of Morpazine. As long as we don't have to put someone to sleep we can do without. I've filed the proper paperwork with the quartermaster. He'll probably send them out with the next shuttle."
"Very good, Lisa. I feel like I've been up for 2 weeks straight." Dr. Lucy Grey placed her palms above her hips and stretched backward, releasing some of the tension sneaking up her back. "How about we shut it down for the night?"
Lisa let out a tired laugh. "It's almost 2300 hours. I'm off to bed. Goodnight, Dr. Grey. Sleep well." Lisa waggled her fingers in goodbye and spun on her heels leaving the CMO's office.
Lucy sat heavily down in her chair hoping she could get up and be in her own quarters before she fell asleep.

Several showers and a shore leave after Parsons and the senior staff of the Vesuvius were rescued from an away mission on a primitive planet, the XO made his way to the bridge. He walked onto the bridge as Admiral Sonak stood listening to an incoming message.
Commander Parsons listened to the incoming message from Colonel Wolf and wondered what this mission had in store for the ship and crew. Adam was not familiar with the Challenger and was interested to call the ship's specs up from his station.
"Commander Parsons, report to my readyroom immediately."
As the Admiral made the announcement, Parsons was walked into her view, she examined him for a moment, unsure how long he had been standing there. "I believe I caught most of the transmission and am anxious to here the details of our mission," the XO offered.

Looking at his first officer he agreed while Commander wolf would be taking over the department she still had to play catch up. Having somebody assit her was not a bad idea but he didn't want anybody butting heads " Agreed Mr. Park as long as he's clear that she's head of the department he's to help her get past the learning curve. Also talk to Commander Wolf and make sure she understands this isn't a question of her ability to run the department just to assist her on new equipment and they way we do things"
He could tell his fist officer was not happy about a dress uniform " I think this time around we will skip the dress uniform for now. She will be coming aboard with her staff to get a briefing and suggest a course of action. My concern is I have never worked with this admiral while I have mission command she's still a admiral and I will have to deal with that if it becomes a issue. As soon as they arrive set up a briefing make sure the senior staff is present. I don't know whats in store for us but I'm concerned. I know we have records of Commander Wolf time but I would like her to give a briefing on what we should expect after all she lived it" <Tag Park>
He watched as this first officer left he was still a little unsure what to expect of the crew of Vesuvius and its Commanding officer but he would deal with it when it came. He noticed he had a message from star fleet concerning his doctor he read it and smiled tapping his combadge " Doctor Grey report to my ready room on the double''
A few minutes later he heard a chime and Doctor Grey entered " Ah Doctor Grey it would seem we have a problem with one of our officers they seem to be out of uniform. I was thinking of putting them on report what do you think"<Tag Grey>
He could tell she wasn't to happy about being summoned for something that didn't concern her. " Well since it concerns your staff I thought I would let you handle it instead. Lt Commander Grey you are hear by being informed you are out of uniform. I order you" he stood from his desk with a little box and walked over to her " As I was saying I order to correct you uniform at once Doctor" he handed her the box and watched as she opened it contained 3 pips "Doctor Grey you are permoted to the rank of Commander effective now with all the responsablities and priveliges that go with it Congrats Doctor. Sorry for the drama but its the first time I have gotten to permote somebody and you deserve the permotion" <Tag Grey>

After making sure everything in Engineering was squared away, Dunowin entered the lift and made his way toward deck 1. He had been on board for a few days now and decided that he finally needed to actually "meet" the XO. He was thrust into work as soon as he had arrived and never really gotten the chance. He now walked up to the XOs office and waited as the chime sounded the arrival of someone wishing to enter.

"Understood sir all stations and systems will be ready when the Admiral arrives," Jon started to rise and walk to the dorr and added just before it opened. "Should she want to inpect the ship anyway."
Jon walked out and headed right to his office after specking to a few officers on the bridge. "Park to Commander Thomas, Please come into my office." He entered his office on deck 2 and waited just as he knew Commander Thomas was there a few mintues later. "ah come in Aryan, I just need to clear a few things up that so there is no confusion. Since Commander Wolf is going to be the new CTSO you will remain as Second so she has someone to fall back on as i train her up to speed."
Commander Thomas nodded and then asked. "Do you know if i will remain in secuirty after she is fully up to speed?" Jon looked at Thomas, "I don't know Commander if you want i can inquire if she still want you on her team." Thomas just nodded. "Your dismissed Commander."
Jon thought a few moments and said to himself "I hope he is ok passed up for promotion 3 times now." Jon thought he would make a log entry.
"First officer's log, Stardate 951003.88. I am wondering if the pass over of Commander Thomas to CTSO for the third time may become his last, I will be looking in the fleet to see if there is a ship or station looking for a officer of his ability. Should a transfer have to be done. As for Commander Wolf the new CTSO I would hope that she can understand this is not a hit on her skills i am sure she will do fine once she is up to speed on starfleet security polices of the current day." Jon thought a few more moments. "I think that when she is up to speed she will be a great officer i have been looking at her service record, She will be a perfect officer. End Log."
Jon tapped his combadge. =/\= Park to Commander Wolf, Can you come to office." Jon waited for a reply instead his door chimed. "Enter." There stood there new Officer. "Oh Ensign Dunowin, Come in. What can i do for you."
<Tag Dunowin>
Jon listen to his new officer, "I will be down to inspect your department as soon as i have a chance to speck to CTSO." Jon was still waiting for Commander Wolf. Finially she arrived and he had her enter and sit. "Commander Wolf i was specking to Colonal Runningwolf and he wanted me to just touch base and let you know that Commander Aryan Thomas will remain as second in command of the secuirty team to assist you until you are ready to creat your own team."
<Tag Wolf>
"Well since thats taken care of i have a Padd of things to have you train on, However we have a Admiral coming onboard. We have a shuttle training at 1400 after she comes in, I hope that i can make the transtion from your time to well your new time easier."

"Doctor Grey report to my ready room on the double''
On the double? Lucyβs head came up. Quickly bending over, she unlocked the drawer in the desk, quickly stashed the meds she hadnβt finished counting inside and headed for the turbolift, calling out her destination to the doctor on duty.
A few minutes later she pressed the Colonelβs chime. "Ah Doctor Grey it would seem we have a problem with one of our officers they seem to be out of uniform. I was thinking of putting them on report what do you think"
βBy all means, sir. But what exactly would this have to do with me? Iβm a doctor, not a bridge officer.β Lucy shifted slightly, hoping he wouldnβt notice her nervousness. Maybe she had forgotten to put on her Starfleet-issued undies and he knew that somehow.
"Well since it concerns your staff I thought I would let you handle it instead. Lt Commander Grey you are hear by being informed you are out of uniform.
I knew it. He knows I wore the blue comfortable ones instead of the gray.
βI order you" he stood from his desk with a little box and walked over to her "As I was saying I order to correct you uniform at once Doctor" he handed her the box and watched as she opened it contained 3 pips "Doctor Grey you are promoted to the rank of Commander effective now with all the responsibilities and privileges that go with it Congrats Doctor. Sorry for the drama but its the first time I have gotten to promote somebody and you deserve the promotion"
Dr. Greyβs face had turned red, then was flushed with pleasure. βThank you, sir. Iβll correct my uniform at once, sir.β By now she was smiling so broadly she thought her face would break. βThank you again, sir. I wonβt let you or the ship down, sir. Itβs a privilege to serve under your command.β
After the usual parting pleasantries, Doctor/Commander Lucy Grey exited the ready room and on a cloud of air made her way back to her office, polishing the new line of pips on the way.

Sonak nodded in response to her first officer. "So am I Adam, so am I. They would not call us in on our expertise alone, if they did not badly have need of us. Senior staff shall accompany me to the Nevada, and we shall hear what they have to say. At that point, we can determine whether Temporal Affairs need to be informed, or whether we can deal with it ourselves."
~several hours later~
"Helm, drop out of warp and come alongside the Nevada. Drop cloak once we are in position." Sonak could see that even though her ship was larger than a Nova class, the Akira still seemed to outsize them. She smiled slightly, since she knew that her small ship packed a few surprises that the Nevada likely did not.
The small Somma class vessel - only 20 decks high - shimmered into existance. "Colonel Wolf, are you ready to receive us?" she called once communications were established.
~even later~
Dressed up in her dress uniform, making her look a little uncomfortable but still even more Vulcan than before, Sonak glanced back at her first officer, chief medical officer and chief of security. They too were looking none too happy at wearing their dress uniforms, but alas, protocol was protocol. "Energise," she ordered her transporter chief, and soon the four officers rematerialised in Nevada's transporter room.
"Colonel Wolf, I am Rear Admiral Sonak Reckus. May I present my first officer, Commander Adam Parsons; my chief of security, Ensign Marandra Rixxen and my chief medical officer, Doctor Kerry-Ann Kennedy."

Parsons listened intently as Admiral Sonak relayed the basic outline of their mission in her readyroom. "Hmmm...," Adam responded after she was done, almost in disapproval.
"Commander," Sonak queried.
"Oh it's nothing Admiral, I just hate time travel ... so much that can go wrong, so many unknowns and variables. I know the crew will give their very best, and we do have some experience in this area." said the XO, trying to sound a little more upbeat.
~several hours later~
The Vesuvius was soon at its rendezvous coordinates with the Nevada. The Executive Officer had made his way to the bridge upon notice of their nearing their destination. Adam had been making his customary rounds on the ship, checking in with department heads. He entered the bridge in time to hear the Admiral ask, "Colonel Wolf, are you ready to receive us?"
~even later~
Adam hated his dress uniform almost as much as time travel, and temporal mechanics, but there he stood in it, along with the Admiral and the Security and Medical chiefs. All looked a little annoyed but snappy. Parsons had to admit he liked the current dress uniforms more than those that made even the male officers appear as if they were wearing woman's dress.
Soon the four officers were on board the Nevada, Parsons was introduced to Colonel Wolf along with the others. Adam extended his hand to the Colonel, "Good to see you again, Colonel Wolf. You've come a long way since our time together on the El Sal, Sir." Adam remembered fondly his days as Chief Tactical and Security Officer on board the Prometheus Class ship, USS El Salvador. At the time, Running Wolf served as Commander of the Marine detachment on the ship and the two occasionally had joint training exercises.

He heard the ship senors and alarms go off as a ship decloaked along side of them, His crew were responding to action stations they were expecting to meet another federation ship not a one decloaking.
Tapping his Combadge "Mr. Park report to the bridge all hand stand ready" Looking at the image of the decloaking ship and receiving her hail he realized it was a federation ship more to the point it was the U.S.S Vesuvius he was still a little shocked that they had a cloak.
" All hands stand down from action station senior staff report to my ready room. Mr. Dunowin after the meeting please see me. I have a feel questions on federation cloaking technology"
Looking back at the view screen he admired the lines on the Somma class Vesuvius and to have a cloak on top of it what a kicker he though still the Nevada was no push over she was small but she carried enough fire power to match most ships.
Open a com channel to the Vesuvius " Your welcome to come aboard Admiral I will greet you shortly. I must apologize in advance for not having the proper customs for a officer of your rank but you caught us dealing with some Orions who beamed aboard and were hidden until just few hours ago. I will explain futher when you beam aboard as our current mission began with the events from our last mission wolf out"
Turning to Mr. Park " Okay there here assemble the staff in the breifing room, I will greet the admiral in person. Oh one other thing Mr. Park a side note if you will figure out how the cloak went undetected until that last possible moment there ship is bigger and it has a cloak something tells me there more. I just like to know who we are working with and what there abilities are" <Tag Park>
He made his way to the transporter room he really didn't know what to expect. When the transporter finished he realized he had made a bad call about the dress uniform. He was sure how well that would go over. He had placed more energy on securing the ship and dealing with mission details.
" Admiral Reckus I'm Colonel Wolf I must apologize again for my crews attire, we have been busy with mission details and I gave the order to focus on that. If you wish us to change I will give the order or if you wish to have your staff change quarters will be arranged right away. I'm sorry for this lack of protocal Admiral but I'm hoping after the mission briefing you will understand if not I accept full responsablitie it was my order "
He saw a face he hadn't seen in a long time " Commander Parsons its good to see you again my holodeck is always open for some good old hand to hand combat."
some time later
He was happy that they all were able to fit in the confrence room the Nevada was built for one thing and confrences was not one of them. " Admiral please take my seat this is my first officer Commander Park, My chief Medical officer newly permoted Commander Grey, Operations officer Lt halacaan , Chief engineer Dunowin and my Tatical officer and the reason for the this Mission Commander Wolf from the NX Challenger"
He waited for everybody to do formalities " Admiral as of now this briefing is classified at the highest level very few outside this room know about. I had to get information released for this briefing because it concerns how to put this a door way into the past present and future. It would seem the federations understanding on the guarding of forever has changed its very location is a closely guarded secert and access to it as well. It would appear that there is more then one and that klingons from Commander Wolf time know about" <Tag anybody>
He waited to see the response that was coming and the questions that he didn't even have answers too yet.

"Park to Lt.Helcaan. Seth i Need to see you right away, But the Colonel would like to speck to you at the end of your shift."
Seth had been assisting with the minor mending job in the maintenance tube adjacent to engineering. The Orions had done some damage to the area, and the plasma generators' effectiveness had been skewed somewhat by the rapid fluctuations that had been required to flush the green-skinned ones out.
"Are you satisfied with the work, Lieutenant?" Seth asked Dunowin, indicating the maintenance shaft and understanding that the CEO had already been promoted. Once Dunowin had answered and the two had talked briefly, Seth did eventually tap his commbadge to return the commcall to Park. He briefly wondered if Park would bring him up on his slight lack of punctuality.
"Commander Park, acknowledged sir. I'll be there in short order." <tag Park for a small back post?>
Back on the bridge once Park had had his talk with him, Seth was running all the standard checks on the Ops console. He knew the procedure very well by now. Handing the console off to Hasak he headed to Mission Ops stations, checking over them too. It was all standard practice. Next he checked the personnel roster for the Ops department, making sure it all checked out. The Wezean's dusty brown eyes scanned the page line by line. Routine...
Soon after the USS Vesuvius decloaked, as shown by the Nevada's forward viewscreen, Seth's shift officially ended. He eyed the Colonel and the first officer as the two of them made plans to receive the Vesuvius's senior staff. What Seth heard was fine by him, the Colonel would greet the arrivals personally and then a briefing would be held with both staff. What wasn't fine was that this would upset his orders to report to Runningwolf at the end of his shift.
It would just have to be done after the briefing; just as the whole assignment came first over 'it'. Admittedly Seth had heard little of any of this new assignment, only that he knew it involved a 'Guardian of Forever'... The very same type of artefact found by the original USS Enterprise - he had read enough on it to know that. It was torture, pure and simple. Seth had all but prepared himself for a preliminary hearing, and once he had explained it all to the Colonel, then he would've been set to go. But no longer... The hearing would be delayed, at least that is what he thought.
Sitting silently through the briefing, Seth merely waited for it to reach its conclusion. He gestured to the Vesuvius's commanding officer and executive in recognition of their status, and also gave polite acknowledgment to their other senior staff members.
"...It would appear that there is more then one and that klingons from Commander Wolf's time know about it"
The one summing statement from the Colonel certainly helped to clarify things for Seth as to the nature of this task. If only he could apply himself to it then he might have something meaningful to contribute.
"Is there any reason to believe that the Klingons could've found a way back?" he eventually questioned the table, "If, as with Commander Wolf, they came through a oneway portal then they could be somewhere in this time. Would it not be better to leave this matter to the Klingon authorities, they are at least on the Federation's side in this century." If Seth was marginally blunt in his query then it was not wholly by accident.

Jon waited for Seth to arrived and he did shortly after the comm call, Jon stood since he was sitting in the command chair. "Lt. Parker you have the bridge i will be in the observation lounge." The young helm officer turned and just tapped more controls. Seth and Jon entered the office. "Seth i have spoken to Colonel Runningwolf, since we have this mission we are putting their incident with the crewman on hold. However i want you to know should you need any help legal or otherwise, i want you to know i am here for you if you need it."

Jon walked out and saw Colonel runningwolf on the bridge. his combadge went off as he watched the Somma class declock. "Mr. Park report to the bridge all hand stand ready" Jon stepped from the upper deck. "I am here Colonal." Jon stood next to him looking at the ship as she stood next to the Akira Class ship in space.
"Okay there here assemble the staff in the briefing room, I will greet the admiral in person. Oh one other thing Mr. Park a side note if you will figure out how the cloak went undetected until that last possible moment there ship is bigger and it has a cloak something tells me there more. I just like to know who we are working with and what there abilities are" Jon looked shocked by that. "Sir shouldn't i come with you, no disrespect meant however the senior staff should be with you when an Admiral comes aboard."
<Tag Runningwolf>
Jon listened and understood "Aye sir i will have all staff at the briefing room before you and the admiral arrive." Park walked to the next console and ran a scan of the Somma Class starship. Jon tapped his combadge, =/\= "Park to Grey,Dunowin and Helacaan. Report to the Briefing room in 15 minutes for a mission briefing with an admiral. Park out."
Jon smiled and headed into the briefing room, Jon moved to the replicator. "Computer 3 pitchers of Water 10 degrees C, Also 9 Glasses." Jon was about to order the next part when the first of his senior staff entered the briefing room. "Ah hello before the Admiral and the Colonel do you have a report for me."

"Good work, Now we wait." Jon watched as the rest of the senior staff arrived and the the Admiral and crew of the Somma Class ship the Vesuvius-A "Admiral on deck." Jon called and stood at attain.

Jon sat after the admiral did and was next to his CO, "Admiral as of now this briefing is classified at the highest level very few outside this room know about. I had to get information released for this briefing because it concerns how to put this a door way into the past present and future. It would seem the federations understanding on the guarding of forever has changed its very location is a closely guarded secret and access to it as well. It would appear that there is more then one and that Klingon's from Commander Wolf time know about"
Jon looked at his CO "Sir do you mean Klingon's from Commander Wolf's or should i say the NX Era have come to this time?" Jon didn't want to know what that could mean for the Federation as well as the rest of the Members of the Alpha Quadrant.

Dr. Lucy Grey read the padd in her hand as the turbolift made its way up and over to the bridge. She felt a pride in her department that was earned. They had used their own initiative to acquire supplies then organize them. While the CMO always knew of their capabilities, she was pleasantly surprised to learn they were also innovative in their duties. Dr. Story had engaged the engineering department to repair two of the sickbay's biobeds. Something that would have caused the on-duty physician to normally ask the CMO's permission.
Grinning, Lucy stepped off the 'lift.
"Commander Park, I have the medical report ready. We are prepared for our next mission." Lucy smiled, adding, "As long as it isn't too far off-base."
"Good work, Now we wait." Jon watched as the rest of the senior staff arrived and the the Admiral and crew of the Somma Class ship the Vesuvius-A "Admiral on deck." Jon called and stood at attain.
<Tag Admiral Reckus>
Lucy crossed her legs, poured a small glass of the available water and leaned back into her chair as she waited for the subject of their mission to begin.
When talk started, Lucy thought it was to be an ordinary exploratory trip. But as the talk continued around the table, she felt herself tighten up. There was a 2nd Guardian of Forever and not only did Cmdr. Wolf come through it, it was suggested by Mr. Helacaan that Klingons did, too. THAT would mean they would be walking into a battle they might not exactly win. Well, they WOULD win, it would just be much harder to do then normal. Besides, as Seth also pointed out, the Klingons were on the side of Starfleet now.
Dr. Grey leaned forward in her chair, setting the water carefully on the polished wood of the table.
"Sir, it seems reasonable that the Klingons would have seen Mr. Wolf leap through the portal and would follow her. But wouldn't they have showed up here, also?"
<TAG: Parsons>
"I can have sedatives made up in case we need them, but I agree that we should contact the Klingon Ambassador about this."

Sharon was slowly getting the feel of things, most of the time she spent in her new spacious quarters going over padds of information, much had changed from one timeline into another, that plus alot of time had passed. She learned the chain of command, she learned in this timeline that the klingons and romulans were now allies to the federation, she had just started on the part about the Enterprise when her new commbadge chirped.
=/\= "Park to Commander Wolf, I hope your feeling better but i would like to see you in my Office at 1400 this afternoon."
=/\= "I will, be there Commander." Sharon said.
Sharon went back to reading about how Captain Picard had brought about peace with the Romulans, stopped a klingon civil war as well. She got up and got a drink from the replicator and sat back down, an hour later her commbadge chirped again.
=/\= Park to Commander Wolf, Can you come to office." Jon waited for a reply instead his door chimed. "Enter." There stood there new Officer. "Oh Ensign Dunowin, Come in. What can i do for you."
=/\= "On my way Commander." Sharon said.
Sharon left her quarters and headed to the first officers office, she took the lift up and got off on the right deck, she headed to his office and rang the chime and heard come.
"Commander Wolf reporting as ordered sir." Sharon said.
"I have spoken to Ayan, and I agree." Sharon said.
"Well since thats taken care of i have a Padd of things to have you train on, However we have a Admiral coming onboard. We have a shuttle training at 1400 after she comes in, I hope that i can make the transtion from your time to well your new time easier."
"I'm already starting to adjust, yes it is a bit much to adjust to but I pick up on things pretty quickly." Sharon said.
Sharon saw Seth come in and gave him a smile. "How are you doing today Seth?"
<Seth>
They left the office and headed to the meeting with the Colonel and the Admiral, Sharon had to get used to all the brass now it was daunting to say the least.

Sonak was pleasantly surprised by the detail of military protocol, yet all the same, as a medical doctor, she could care less for it at some instances. One such instance was now, where time was of the essence. She inclined her head politely before taking her seat at the table in the briefingroom, observing the exchange between First Officer and Chief Medical Officer.
As far as she could tell, not everyone was present yet, least of all the woman around whom it all seemed to revolve. She knew about Commander Wolf, of course. She knew that some crewmembers of NX Challenger had disappeared from their own time, never to be heard of again, and also knew that one of her friends from that time had been rescued by USS Victory. Though that part, it seemed was not general knowledge. Yet, she had heard about it, through the grapevine.
"Admiral as of now this briefing is classified at the highest level very few outside this room know about. I had to get information released for this briefing because it concerns how to put this a door way into the past present and future. It would seem the federations understanding on the guarding of forever has changed its very location is a closely guarded secret and access to it as well. It would appear that there is more then one and that Klingon's from Commander Wolf time know about"
The Vulcan cast the Nevada's first officer a sharp look; who was he to presume what was classified, and what not? "I shall be the judge of what is classified and what not," she told him acidly, "were we not called in as experts on time travel? In correspondence with your commanding officer, I shall decide how much your crewmembers will need to be told, in order for this mission to be a success. As for the Guardian of Forever, I have knowledge in its location, I have been there before. If we need to travel with it, we do need permission of the Temporal Agency, though of course we can just simply take our chances."
She paused, reaching for one of the pitchers of water, tipping a fair amount into a glass, then sipped from it. "Since apparently time is of the essence, and gaining permission could take months, I propose we take our chances." Sonak glanced at Running Wolf, before checking with her own senior staff. "Any objections?"

Listening to Admiral Reckus he was agreeing with her about permission, there orders were to locate and report. That didn't sit well with him, for the simple fact that the Klingon from the past were not friendly with the federation it was to big of a gamble to sit and wait. He did breath a relief that the admiral was accepting of his lack of protocol. He may not have had his crew in dress uniforms but that would be the only protocol he ignored when it came to there guest.
" I agree with the admiral we will have to take the risk and find out what has happened since wolf entered our time line. As for getting in touch witht he Klingon empire I don't think thats a wise choice. The less who know about whats going on the better our chances or of repairing any damage to the time line. I hope I'm correct in that assessment Admiral thats why your crew is here your past experience is what we are calling on."
" People we can think this all we want but lets be blunt my past experiences have taught me something when it comes to power changes in leader ship. While I may not have alot of dealings with Klingon's I have with Romans the federation has been known to nudge the workings of governments less friendly to us. On this basis some things are constant it takes alot of work to change a political thinking. With that being said it would be a wasted effort for the Klingon's from the past to try and change that today."
pausing for a moment looking around the room. " It would be a better plan and easier plan to come through to our time line and grab technology and history books and take it back with them. There time line would be more ideal for the end goal. With a simple history book and some advance technology you could change the balance of power to what ever goal you have planned. Klingon's from that time line would not pass up the chance to make sure they become the absolute power and wipe anybody out who could become a threat to there power."
" Admiral I have the location for this other Guarding, but I get the feeling its not a new Guarding. Some tells me it can be in many places at he same time. I don't understand the time space thing as well as I would like to. Also I have my own expertise and pulled the file of Commander Wolf mission. I think it would be best for us to head to that location and find out what might be happening. At least this way if we have to go through to correct anything we will not have to worry about getting through any red tape. I would also suggest admiral that we send down shuttle after reading Commanders Wolfs report on the events transport technology would still be blocked today. A mixed away team would be my suggestion between out two ships of course Admiral the final call will be yours"
Looking around the room " I don't know what we will find or if we will be lucky and wont need to act but if we do remember the prime directive. If we have to fix the time line will follow the advice of the experts. Also the admiral was right about what the rest of the crew will be told as well "

Having not been in the first officer's office very often before, Seth was in part apprehensive about the coming experience. He knew he shouldn't be, having served on the Nevada for a lengthy time now.
"How are you doing today Seth?"
He peered up from under the furrowed eyebrows briefly, having not talked much to the ship's CTSO in the short time she'd been aboard.
"Quite well, thank you." The eyebrows raised slightly as he then returned the question. Seth ran a mini-debate in his head; while meeting with Wolf was not the objective here, she did seem to want to be friendly to him - entirely expected and acceptable, of course. He made a mental note to talk with her later after the meeting. <tag Wolf later after briefing is dealt with>
The office was sparsely decorated, but it did allow for enough styled furniture and other curiosities to impart on it enough personality, just so that, from Seth's perspective, he could get a rough gauge for its occupant's preference. That occupant stood before him now, holding a PADD and treating with him in such a way that he meant to be friendly, but also to display himself as the first officer of a starship.
"Seth i have spoken to Colonel Runningwolf, since we have this mission we are putting their incident with the crewman on hold. However i want you to know should you need any help legal or otherwise, i want you to know i am here for you if you need it."
".. Thank you, sir. That does mean a lot to me." Seth was sure he sounded totally unconvincing but he was telling the truth. This crew were literally a family, and those kind of familial relationships were ones he did not take lightly. Still, it frustrated him no end that all this was put in hold, he would just have to fight through it. In fact, there was a saying among the Wezeans that seemed particularly applicable right now: To rush to something is to miss it altogether.
Seth's question did not fall on death ears, by far the opposite in fact, but it soon emerged that perhaps he had been mistaken. A misunderstanding of the Colonel's words... Had the Klingons indeed come through. Was this simply an error on Seth's part, or had he anticipated something, deduced part of the truth of it that would set them on their way?
Tension flared almost immediately. The Vulcan Admiral, impassive at first and allowing the Colonel to speak, soon spoke her mind. Seth found in his limited experience with Vulcans that they would often do that if they heard something disagreeable, something contradictory to logic or whatever rigorous method of thought they attempted to pursue as the defining guideline of their existence.
Mindlessly the COO tapped the edge of the table, idly directing his vision across it, unblinking to one of the Vesuvius staff members sat on the other side. Perhaps, thought Seth, that officer would grow uncomfortable. However, there was a truth here, and that was that Seth stared through them, into the wall and then out the other side into space.
<tag Vesuvius crewmember - OOC: need not be dialogue>
Seth felt a twitch below his right eye as the sound of the Vulcan permeated his skull. It was slightly irritating and becoming more as the briefing wore on. If he could have displayed his emotion at this point, it would almost be an exhibit of relief that the Colonel had taken over the reins of vocalisation once more. After suggesting a course of action they could take, and the Vesuvius crew for the time being departed, the Colonel once more looked at all the Nevada crew.
" I don't know what we will find or if we will be lucky and wont need to act but if we do remember the prime directive. If we have to fix the time line will follow the advice of the experts. Also the admiral was right about what the rest of the crew will be told as well "
"Let us hope we don't have to be too careful around our own," Seth muttered audibly. Once more he was at something approaching ease, now that he was among familiar people that were the staff of the Nevada.
<tag Nevada staff - OOC: plus Vesuvius staff if anything to add prior to this of course>

Looking around the room seemed that everybody said what was needed. " Very well since now we need to find out if anybody else came through after Commander Wolf. Then I suggest that we get moving." Picking up a data pad he walked over Reckus and handed her the information. " Admiral course heading along with the latest intell and senor readings from a long range problem at warp 5 we should be there in 3 hours. I didn't want to draw to much attention to us. After all to federation ships going in the same direction at warp 9 might draw that"
He watch the admiral party leave for there ship turning to his crew " Lets get to work Commander Park work with Commander Parsons on the away team. Make sure you have a shuttle big enough to handle the extra crew" <Tag Park>
A few hours later they arrived at the planet it was strange it seemed almost like he had seen it before. Opening a channel to Vesuvius " Admiral is me or does the planet make you feel like you have seen it before someplace any way I suggest our away teams get ready and shuttle down still reading some enegery interference."
OCC Okay peolpe time to have fun the away team needs to get sucked in to the NX time line have fun.

"Lets get to work Commander Park work with Commander Parsons on the away team. Make sure you have a shuttle big enough to handle the extra crew"
Jon stood and turned to the Colonal "Aye sir i had a type 9 being preped but i while change it to the new Runabout class we just got in. I belive it's a long range shuttle with capins and a full weapons systems."
Jon went to his station after leaving and contacted the shuuttle bay. "Cheif i need the USS Arura preped insted of the type 9 i requested before, I need this done ASAP." The Cheif replied "Right away sir." Jon was scanning a report when he saw a few members of the others ships crew including the First officer. "Commander Parsons may we talk?"

Jon motioned to enter the Turbolift. "Deck 2 section 3 beta." The turbolift took him right outside his office, Jon walked to his door and opened it. "Please enter commander." Jon went to the other side of his desk and turned to the replicator. "Would you like a drimk commander?"
<Tag Parsons>
Jon sat down and tapped some controls and the screen behind him flashed, "This is the USS Arura she is a new kinda shuttle we have it is a long range ship that can but outfitted for what we need it to do." Jon showed Parsons the other pics of the inside as well as the deck layout. "Who did you want to bring with us, I will be bringing Commander Wolf and Secuirty Team Beta command by Lt.Commander Jennifer Draco." Jon handed him the beta team roster and service record on a Padd.

After the introductions, Parsons sat with Sonak at the Nevada's conference table as the Nevada's first officer began the briefing, "Admiral as of now this briefing is classified at the highest level very few outside this room know about. I had to get information released for this briefing because it concerns how to put this a door way into the past present and future. It would seem the federations understanding on the guarding of forever has changed its very location is a closely guarded secret and access to it as well. It would appear that there is more then one and that Klingon's from Commander Wolf time know about"
Adam had worked with Sonak long enough to know that she was perturbed by the tact taken by the Nevada's first officer. "I shall be the judge of what is classified and what not," the Admiral said coldly. "[W]ere we not called in as experts on time travel? In correspondence with your commanding officer, I shall decide how much your crewmembers will need to be told, in order for this mission to be a success. As for the Guardian of Forever, I have knowledge in its location, I have been there before. If we need to travel with it, we do need permission of the Temporal Agency, though of course we can just simply take our chances."
Parsons knew the two crews were not getting off on the right foot, but he also knew better than to interrupt the Admiral to smooth things over. He would have to let things play out, and make suggestions for how to deal with the Nevada's first officer and crew later in private, and very delicately.
The Admiral spoke again, "Since apparently time is of the essence, and gaining permission could take months, I propose we take our chances." Sonak glanced at Running Wolf, before looking at her own senior staff. "Any objections?"
The Vesuvius XO didn't like the old saying, "It's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission," but in this case the Admiral may have been right. Adam also knew that command trusted the Admiral's judgment, so chose to voice no objection to her proposed course of action at this time. Parsons couldn't help but think that he would have, had Sonak been proposing such a thing when he first became her first officer.
No objections were forthcoming, and Colonel Running Wolf spoke up in agreement with the Admiral. Adam certainly agreed with what the Colonel said about the Klingons from the earlier timeline.
Parsons returned to the Vesuvius with the Admiral and made his way to the bridge. He walked over to the CONN and tapped in a set of coordinates. "Prepare to proceed to these coordinates at Warp 5."
"Aye, Sir," the ensign manning the CONN said without looking up.
* * *
Shortly after the two Federation ships reached the planet, that was their destination, Parsons beamed over to the Nevada with a small compliment of officers that would serve as the Vesuvius' part of the awayteam.
The Nevada's first officer appeared to be scanning a report when Adam saw him in a corridor, "Commander Parsons may we talk?"
"Certainly, Commander Park," Parsons replied.
Jon motioned to enter the Turbolift, and Adam did so. "Deck 2 section 3 beta." The turbolift took the two men to another cooridor on another deck. Park walked to a door and opened it. "Please enter commander." Parsons did complied again and Commander Park followed and sat down at a desk. "Would you like a drink commander?"
"Water, cold," Adam replied.
Park then showed Adam a shuttle design, "This is the USS Arura she is a new kinda shuttle we have it is a long range ship that can but outfitted for what we need it to do." Park showed Parsons the other pics of the inside as well as the deck layout. "Who did you want to bring with us, I will be bringing Commander Wolf and Security Team Beta command by Lt.Commander Jennifer Draco." Jon handed him the beta team roster and service record on a Padd.
"Excellent, I was planning on bringing a three man security team led by our CTSO Ensign Maranda Rixen and I thought I would bring along one of our medical officers as well. To tell you the truth, I am not sure what to expect. This sounds like a recon mission to me. Do you have any suggestions for additional personnel?"

Jon thought a few moment's " I would think that would be enough. But we have room for 2 more personal, I would suggest our medical officer's or at least medics."
<Tag Parsons>
After they finished talking Jon stood "I will see you at 1400 Commander." Jon went to the door and he stood there as the first officer from the other ship left.
1400 hours Shuttle bay 2
Jon stood by the door to the long range shuttle and waited for the crew from the other ship. Jon watched as the rest of the away team was milling about. "Commander Wolf did we get the scans from the planet?"
<Tag wolf>
Park waited as Wolf told him everything he needed. "Thats great we will land 200 yards from the guardian or what every it is." Jon saw the rest of the away team and said "Great we are all here, Lets head out. Commander Wolf take the Conn."
<Tag Wolf>
Jon moved to the center chair, since this was the long range ship it was set up like a starship bridge. There was the ops and helm right in front of the center chair. The left side was the engineering console. Behind the Center chair was the Security station. To the right side was the science station. There was two doors just to the left and right side of the security station that lead to the hall and there was a set of rooms as well as the Main engineering section.
Jon open the shuttle bay doors and commander wolf pushed the ship into space, Jon watched as the ship pitched and went into the atmosphere and landed near the spot he picked. Jon took out the gear and headed to the door, "OK everyone lets be careful." Jon went out and looked around the planet was odd looking there was something off he just couldn't place it.
Jon went up to the huge brick looking object when it spoke. " You have come to repair the past......" Jon looked as the planet spun and spun. Jon looked around all the crew was on the ground and they were knocked out. Jon sat up and hit his combadge =/\= Park to Nevada." There was no response. "=/\= Park to any starfleet personal please respond." The reply from the space was from a ship he didn't expect from this era.

Kerry-Anne sat quietly at the briefing not sure how to think of the Nevada crew, the Nevada crewmember across from her seemed to stare straight through her in a way that made her not uncomfortable but slightly annoyed.
She winked at him and mocked blowing a kiss indicating she had been stared at long enough.. the lieutenant my have outranked her but her Bajoran temper never took much stock in such things.
She had not much to add to the discourse being a medical doctor and having no experience with the guardian of forever her thoughts she decided would remain with herself.
Not that her thoughts had anything to do with the mission rather she remembered the horrid βcampingβ trip during which she had a dreadful time.. or the fact she had a tonne of paperwork to do back in her sickbay.. or regretting she didnβt find the time to visit Tedak in-between the missions,. She made a mental not to send a message after the briefing.
Her attention again brought to the room when Sonak and the other Vesuvius crew arose.. she did the same and followed them out.

Back post...:
At last Seth's eyes focussed on the intervening object, the one that was only physically blocking his line of sight to the bulkhead and the space beyond. The woman, a Bajoran, that the object resolved itself into made a blowing kiss to him; it took him off guard a little and he felt a little confused, that was until he realised the Bajoran was mocking him. A frown quickly developed on his face, before dissolving quickly as his attention was again split between several people at once - as they all spoke, vying for attention.
There was tension between these crews. Seth, while he would usually classify himself as an outside observer, felt very much a part of the Nevada side of things.
And now the present...:
After Colonel Runningwolf concluded the debriefing with some words to the Nevada crew alone, the Akira class ship's staff departed the briefing room, following in the wake of the briefing-leaving trailblazers that were the Vesuvius's crew. Seth got the impression from them that they were a tightly run ship. And no matter what they may have thought of the Nevada crew - whatever that might have been - Seth knew that the crew of the Somma class ship would have their fair share of character faults.
As the Wezean operations officer entered the central area of the bridge, the last of the Vesuvius staff were just boarding the main turbolift. The Bajoran woman who, in Seth's opinion, seemed to have some attitude was the last to board, and as the doors came closing shut to block her face from view, something made Seth speak her way, "Good luck," he said simply, his face neutral. He didn't know what had made him blurt that out, nor the reason or meaning behind it. Suddenly he got the compulsion to rub at his back and neck, feeling as if his spine and ribs were tightening him up; he'd have to see the Doctor about that.
<tag Kennedy?>
As the Nevada's bridge crew got on with their tasks, Seth made a very slightly meandering beeline for the Colonel, just now lowering himself into the command chair. "Colonel," he addressed Runningwolf and handed him a PADD, "Duty roster for the Ops department, you wanted it for your personal review," he made the excuse and then spoke his mind, "Sir, I... hope, we can avoid any of the tension that has existed between us behind us for this mission. I would very much like to prove myself to you, so you have my word that I will conduct my duty to the highest standard while I await the... the preliminary court proceedings."
<tag Runningwolf>
Hours passed by, the Nevada and Vesuvius traversing the impossible gap between stars to the location of the artefact known as 'The Guardian of Forever'. The vessels shot into the system, instantaneously triangulating their position with the local stellar matter and accompanying planetoids. The target world was before them.
At the Ops station on the Nevada's bridge, Seth made his scans. He waited for Park and company to reach the turbolift that would take them to the shuttlebay, then made his report, "The planet is not inhabited. The artefact is located at seventy two mark four nine degrees by thirty one mark eight zero. There's nothing in the vicinity." Park and company left the bridge.
Seth likewise excused himself from the bridge, first asking if the Colonel needed anything done (tag Colonel Runningwolf) then making for the sickbay. Entering he found Doctor Grey studying a group of specimens.
"Doctor, hello," the Ops chief greeted. "Tell me, do you have anything for a painful back, spine, neck, anything like that?"
<tag Dr. Grey>
Seth was led to the vicinity of a biobed, elaborating on the trouble he'd been having as he walked. "I felt it on the bridge. It feels almost like my whole spine is seizing up... It's limiting I can tell you." Then something changed, and very suddenly with a speed that spooked Seth, he frowned and looked at the Doctor. "It's not the first time.. I think..."
