Aboard the USS Hanson Stardate 91.0105
Drew couldn’t remember the last time he had seen the mess hall so packed with bodies. There must have been representatives here from most species in the Federation, all of them gathered around the small three infants in the centre of the room.
The proud parents were beaming happily as each guest in turn approached to look at the young ones, offering kind words and gifts. Finally it came to Drew’s turn to approach the table, he looked down happily at the babies, and then smiled at there mother and father - S’reena and Michael Hope.
“They are beautiful, you must be very proud,” Drew said, shaking Michael’s hand, and offering S’reena the gifts he had brought for her youngest children.
“We are sir, we are,” Michael said happily, “and we are very pleased that you agreed to be godfather to young Kyala, it means a lot to us.”
“My please Michael,” Drew said, “and I think you can forgo the ‘sir’, just this once.”
“Thank you sir,” Michael said, laughing, and then blushing as he realized his omission.
Drew laughed with him, and then gently pulled S’reena away, he could tell his First Officer wanted to be with her family, but Drew had just arrived back from a meeting with Command, and needed to talk.
“How soon are we going to be departing?” S’reena asked after Drew had finished briefing her, they had both expected a little more time before the Hanson would be leaving spacedock again, but it seemed that wasn’t going to be the case.
“As soon as we are ready,” Drew answered, “Command has already arranged for us to be fully re-supplied.”
“Guess I better find out one of my old uniforms,” S’reena said with a laugh, over the last few months of her pregnancy she had been wearing a specially modified uniform.
“Bridge to Admiral Drew,” came Lieutenant Richards voice over the comm system, interrupting the command duos talk, “we have a Cadet requesting permission to come aboard.”
“Understood Lieutenant,” Drew said, touching his badge, “I’ll go meet them.”
“Mind if I come with you?” S’reena asked, “it’s always good to meet the Cadets when they first come aboard.”
“By all means,” Drew said, leading the way out of the mess hall.
The walk to the airlock only took a few minutes, and soon enough Drew and S’reena were stood outside awaiting the arrival of the Cadet.
A few minutes later, a young woman with an human appearance walked out of the airlock, and onto the Hanson, she wore the uniform of a Security Cadet.
“Cadet Tinyl Nurem, reporting for duty,” she said briskly standing to attention. Now she was closer, Drew could see some evidence of Betazoid heritage in her features.
“Cadet, welcome aboard,” Drew said, “I am Rear Admiral Drew, and this is my First Officer Commander Hope.”
“We will show you to your quarters,” S’reena said, stepping forward to greet Nurem, “and then if you wish, you may join us in the mess hall, we are holding a celebration for the birth of my children.”
<tag S’reena and Nurem>
OCC: Welcome to the Hanson Tinyl, my apologises for the slightly late start. Please feel free to carry on from this point, if you like you can go to your quarters and unpack your things, or join Drew and S’reena in the mess hall, the choice is yours. S’reena will also be posting to help you settle onto the Hanson. Any questions then please feel free to ask either of us.

S'reena led the young woman to her quarters. "If you are lucky you will have these quarters to yourself," she smiled as she keyed in the access code, "unless another female cadet reports in, then you will most likely be sharing." She motioned for the cadet to step in and take a look around. "You will have to give a voice command to the computer so it knows that you have access to these quarters," she instructed, as she also instructed the computer to accept a voice command verification.
"I will leave you here for now, but I do hope to see you in the mess hall soon," S'reena continued, "unless you insist on taking a tour around the ship now, and getting to know your station right away. I fear that the assistant instructor is rather disabled right now, and we are still awaiting the arrival of a new instructor. However if you have questions, feel free to ask me about them. I have trained a few security cadets on our previous mission, I am quite certain I shall be able to answer any questions you have."

Tinyl nodded to the two officers who had met her at the airlock. "Thank you Sir, .. Ma'am" she said turning first to the Rear Admiral and then to the Commander. "I think I would like to settle in my quarters first." she said before the Commander led her through the ship to her quarters.
Tinyl had been left at her quarters, and had been given voice authorization by the computer so she could get in without a passkey. She sat quietly on the couch, for now she was alone, but she knew that if others arrived she'd be sharing this space. For now she enjoyed the quiet.
She didn't sit long but unpacked quickly and set up her sleeping area the way she wanted. She didn't have a lot of personal effects so all she had to do was unpack her uniforms.
Once that was finished she left her quarters, turning to look back into them before stepping away, the door closing behind her.
Once the door closed she turned and walked to the nearest turbolift and entered. "Bridge" was all she said after those doors closed, the lift rising slowly to its destination.
Her first glance of the bridge came when the doors of the lift opened and she stepped off.<tag Paul and S'reena and thank you for the welcome>

(OOC: Here I'm taking a cue from Cadet Nurem and assuming Drew and Hope are on the Bridge already)
Noah guided himself his chair down the corridors of the Hanson, by means of the control PADD that was normally stowed in the side pocket. He didn't like having to have the chair do the work, but it hurt his arms too much.
He wheeled himself over to the turbolift, and fortunately the crewman also waiting there graciously allowed him to enter first. "Deck 7," the crewmember requested.
"Bridge," Bates ordered. He chose to sit quietly in the back of the turbolift, as crewmembers got on and off, not talking to them, until he arrived on the Bridge alone.
He wheeled up to them. "Admiral, Commander, I regret to inform you that I will not be joining you on this training mission. I'm resigning."
Both officers looked at each other, then back to Bates. "For what reason?" Drew asked.
"I'm retiring. As you experienced yourself, Admiral, I aged considerably on the last mission. And for me, the effects didn't reverse as well as they did for you. I've grown tired," he said, sighing, then turned to Commander Hope. "S'reena, I'm sorry that I won't be around to help you care for little Jayvee. But I hope you will allow me to remain his godfather."

Once the call to Board the Hanson came out it took Brelev very little time to board the vessel and settle in. Her bags where mostly still packed, and not much unpacking needed to be done once on board the Intrepid vessel. She plunked them on her bed, insured her voice was recognised fore entry, and then headed for the Bridge.
It was silly really that she even had quarters, but it was Federtion policy that each officer be given one. She wouldn't use them very often, maybe as a place to read without being interpted, or look over the latest news. On her last ship she'd asked the Captain if she could turn her bed into a Garden, but the Hanson already had an excellent hydroponics bay so that seemed inpractigle and probably against regulations.
The Bridge was relativly quiet. the ship was not underway so most of the people there where checking out their stations, or taking a tour. Brelev made her way directly to the Science consol and tried a few test scans to get the feel of it. She would check out the labrotories that night, this ship was a science officer's dreams. She was lucky on her last posts to have one lab, this vessel had more then enough.
So far there was only one cadet on board, Cadet Nurem who was studying in tactical, idealy more would be arriving soon. S'reena was looking fresh in a regular Uniform, although Brelev had never seen her pregnant she geussed it was a sight. A belly with one shild was grand, but with three...
Her thoughts where interupted when another crewmember arrived on the Bridge. She recougnised him as Commander Bates, from Engineering. She rarely saw anyone in a weelchair anymore, and was partly tempted to ask why his condition was not cureable, but held back with concerns of sounding insensitive.
"...I regret to inform you that I will not be joining you on this training mission. I'm resigning." She overheard Commander Bates tell the Admiral. How unfortunate, he seems like a very very capable officer and instructer... "I'm retiring." he continued Well I do supose he seems rather old
she could not help but listening in, it was what she did she loved to analyize people, she knew it wasn't right by most species, but did it anyway. This aging thing the Commander and Admiral had gone through, how very fasinating. She would have to ask the Admiral about it, maybe check out the logs from the last few missions...

Drew looked sadly up at his CEO; it was true that Noah had suffered more than most of the crew from the temporal anomaly they had encountered. Although the two men were of the same age, it seemed Drew had recovered from the incident much more quickly than Noah had.
“I am going to be sorry to see you go Commander,” Drew said, rising from his chair to shake Noah’s hand, “it has been a pleasure to serve with you.”
“Thank you sir, the pleasure has been mine,” Noah replied, taking Drew’s offered hand.
Noticing that S’reena wanted to have a few words of her own with Noah, Drew left the two alone, and walked over to greet Cadet Nurem and Commander Brelev, who had both just entered the bridge.
“Welcome to the nerve centre of the Hanson,” he said warmly, “glad to see you both found your way here ok.”
“It was no trouble,” Brelev answered, “Once you get down to it, every ship is the same, just the décor a bit different.”
“Indeed,” Drew laughed, “tell me, have you two meet before?”
From the looks on Tinyl’s and Brelev’s faces, he could tell the answer was no, again Drew smiled at the two.
“Cadet Tinyl Nurem meet Commander Brelev,” he said, “the Commander is our new Science Instructor, and Cadet Nurem here is going to be a Security Cadet.”
“Now that is done,” Drew continued, “would you like me to show you both to your stations?”
<tag Nurem and Brelev – Brelev I know in your post you already found your station, but it gives us something to talk about lol>

Tinyl looked around the bridge and stepped aside as a Starfleet officer in a what appeared to be a wheelchair exited the turbolift and approached the two senior officers. She kept her distance respectfully while they spoke but could pick up the emotions well enough.
While she waited she observed the rest on the bridge as well as her own station. This was going to be her home during training and she might as well use every minute she had to learn her way around even if only by visual observation for now. Soon enough she'd be at her station and actually showing what she'd learned already.
The three officers soon seperated, Rear Admiral Drew walked to where she and another crewmate stood, a Cmdr. Brelev, the Chief of Science or so she thought from the tunic color and rank insignia.
“Welcome to the nerve centre of the Hanson,” he said warmly, “glad to see you both found your way here ok.”
She waited while the Commander spoke, than replied. "Thank you Sir."
He continued. “Tell me, have you two meet before?”
Tinyl glanced at the Commander and smiled slightly but shook her head negative. Once he saw they had not, “Cadet Tinyl Nurem meet Commander Brelev,” he said, “the Commander is our new Science Instructor, and Cadet Nurem here is going to be a Security Cadet.” he said before finishing. “would you like me to show you both to your stations?”
She smiled again. "Nice to meet you ... Sir." she spoke to the Commander. She was never sure what to call the superior officers who were women, some prefered the time honored 'Sir', while others prefered 'Ma'am', so she was stepping out on a limb with her response.
Tinyl turned back to the Rear Admiral. "Yes Sir, I would like to see my station, Please."

"That would be wonderful Admiral." Brelev replied, letting the Admiral show her around the Bridge. She's been on an Intrepid vessel before as a cadet but that had been ages ago. All the ship's she had served on where smaller. That was good in that it gave her an oppertunity to get to know the whole crew and even work the Bridge station at a yonger age, but bad in that those ships lacked the nobility of the larger vessels.
"Here we are Commander, go ahead, sit down and get a feel for it." The Admiral gestured to the seat and Brelev sat down. "I could spend days sitting here, whoever designed these seats had an eye for comfort."
"Lucky you, Tactical has to stand for their shift." Tinyl laughed, then seemed to think that comment was innapropriate "I'm sorry."
Brelev smiled. "Don't be, Instructers are to be respected and listened to, but you should not be afraid of us. I think the Federation keeps you guys standing to keep you on your toes, we don't want lazy security officers."
Brelev pried herself from her chair and followed the Admiral to the tactical station. "I'd permit you to take a seat and try it out, but as you said, there is no seat." The corner'sof the Admiral's mouth seemed to almost tug outwards.
"No sleeping on the job for me then, I geuss I'll be in charge of keeping the Commander awake." Tinyl seemed to be relaxing a bit, that was good.
"I wouldn't worry about me." Brelev commented, she did not feel like getting into another long conversation about Denobulan sleeping hbits so she left it at that.
(O.O.C If anything I wrote in about your characters bothers you please let me know. I try to keep any comments by any other character simple and none assuming bt sometimes I get a little excited. I post lie this to keep things moving and lengthen out my posts, but it can be risky with crewmembers I don't have a feel for yet.)

ooc: Noah's in a regular wheelchair, not a hoverchair ;D He uses musclepower to get in motion, rather than anti-gravity ;D
S'reena stepped away with Bates, and looked down on him with sadness in her eyes. "I know we've never really been friends," she began, then fell silent and just leaned in to give him a fierce hug. "I am going to miss our arguments," she confessed, "and of course you can still be godfather to Jayvee." She gave him a mock-menacing look. "Don't you dare stop doing that mister, or we shall make you regret it."
The Romulan stepped away from the older man. "Enjoy your retirement commander," she finished, giving him a very military salute, "and come back to visit us at some time. The Hanson will most certainly miss your expertise in engineering." Finally unable to speak any further to Bates, she turned her back on him - though not meant with any disrespect - and walked back to Drew.
"How is Miss Nurem settling in admiral?" she querried, "and have any other cadets reported in so far? How about instructors?" She cast a sad smile on her CO. "Has Angel prodded you for a physical yet?"

The call for all instructors to report had been given out approximately thirty minutes ago and Jason was just only arriving. He hadn't met to be late, but he had to attend to some personal matters elsewhere. This of course was no excuse, but family was very important to him.
As he stepped onto the sleek corridors of the Hanson, Jason remembered his time served on Voyager, the most famous Intrepid class ship out there. Jason had the great privilege of serving under Captain Chakotay, but he felt as if his life needed to go in another direction. Jason felt good about his decision and knew that this would be a job he would never tire of.
Since he had served on a ship exactly like the one he was serving on, there was no way that he could get lost. He quickly found his quarters, unpacked, and changed uniform. He would need to report into the Captain of the ship a Rear Admiral Paul Drew. The man was a legend and Jason was very pleased to learn that he would be serving under him.
As he walked onto the bridge he was met with one of the strangest scenes he had ever seen. For starters there was a Commander on a wheelchair something that was never used anymore and another women saluting him. Jason didn't know what was going on, but he just waited until everything was said and done.
"How is Miss Nurem settling in admiral?" she querried, "and have any other cadets reported in so far? How about instructors?" She cast a sad smile on her CO. "Has Angel prodded you for a physical yet?"
Jason found his way into the conversation and introduced himself to his new CO and FO.
"Hello RA Drew, Commander Hope, I am Commander Reynolds the new operations instructor," Jason said realizing that Commander Hope was exactly like his brother had described her.

(OFF: Sorry about the wheelchair oversight, I fixed it in my previous post)
The tour of the bridge by the Admiral short but worthwhile and it left her feeling as if she was indeed part of the ship and the crew, which had yet to appear. She was still the only cadet to have arrived yet. Tinyl was slowly beginning to feel comfortable among the higher ranking officers which surrounded her and laughed slightly as Commander Brelev teased her. "I don't mind standing, means I stay awake and alert."
She smiled as she ran her hand over the console which she would be manning and glanced up at Commander Hope as she approached and queried. "How is Miss Nurem settling in admiral?"
Just as the Commander asked that they were joined by yet another instructor. She nodded as he approached and joined their ever growing group.

S'reena's attention was abrubtly taken away from Drew as she heard a familiar name, and even a somewhat familiar voice. Now that she saw the face belonging to the voice, she tried to remember where she'd seen it before. "Reynolds you say?" she asked, "you aren't by any chance related to a Matthew Reynolds are you?"
<Jason>
"Ah, I see," S'reena continued, "I do hope he had nothing but good tales to tell about this dear old lady had he?" With that she was referring to the Hanson, and she could see the young man understood that too. "She's a good ship, and though badly beaten up in the past, she still fulfills her tasks quite dutifully." She patted a nearby console, almost lovingly.
Then she noticed the cadet standing close by. "You'll grow attached to the ship you serve on after a while," she explained, "personally, I wouldn't trade this old lady for anything else.

"Reynolds you say?" she asked, "you aren't by any chance related to a Matthew Reynolds are you?"
"Yes I am his older brother and he has spoken very highly of the instructors here," Jason said. One thing that his brother couldn't stop talking about was his training mission.

With that she was referring to the Hanson, and she could see the young man understood that too. "She's a good ship, and though badly beaten up in the past, she still fulfills her tasks quite dutifully." She patted a nearby console, almost lovingly. Jason noticed how the women in front of him spoke of the ship, it was if the ship was a person who she loved very much. Jason of course knew the feeling and only hoped that he would get to love the Hanson just like she does.
Jason noticed that there was now a cadet next to them and he gladly introduced himself to her.
"Hello cadet I'm Commander Reynolds, the operations instructor," Jason said offering his hand.

Jason Farsir was called to duty on the USS Hanson. When aboard he had where his quarters were. He had found his quarters and put down his belongings. He went to the replicator and ordered a pasta dish.
After eating he decided he better head to the bridge. He got to the turbolift, standing there in the turbolift he tugged on his uniform for a few seconds, a bad habit he was trying to stop. "Please state destination," the computer said "Bridge," he replied. As he entered the bridge he saw one other cadet there, the others were just instructers. He noticed that one of them had said that they were the operations instructor. Though he did not see who had said it he thought it best to report to them.
He waited politly for thier converstaion with the other cadet to end. All three turned thier head to see who was thier. "Cadet Jason Farsir reporting to duty for operations sir,"

"Sir, I'm already growing attached to her. She seems like a wonderful ship." She listened as the others spoke and could feel the emotion they had for this vessel. That was enough for her to know that the Hanson was a good ship. Her hands resting lightly on her console.
"Hello cadet I'm Commander Reynolds, the operations instructor," Commander Reynolds said offering his hand to Tinyl as she turned at his arrival. She took his hand lightly in hers. "Nice to meet you Sir." She smiled slightly as she looked at the instructors who ringed around her and her station.
In the back of her mind she was wondering where the rest of the cadets were when the turbolift opened and revealed ... a cadet. what a relief, I'm not alone anymore she thought to herself as he approached and spoke.
"Cadet Jason Farsir reporting to duty for operations sir,"

OOC: I am backposting here, and this starts before anyone gets to the bridge yet. Unless I misread the beginning of this thread?
IC: Angel had been busy from the moment she stepped aboard the ship. One of the first places she had been was the bridge. None of the senior staff had been there at the time, and she decided that was the time to set up her little surprise.
She retreated down to her office in sickbay to catch up on some of the paperwork keeping an eye on one of the crew. She stopped on her way to her office to meet the other doctor on the ship as well as the rest of her crew. She saw a few nurses, and decided to make sure exactly who was under her when she went to her office. First things first though, so she went to find the other doctor.
"Hello, Doctor Hope, I am Commander Angel Paris, the new doc. I just wanted to say hello." She said noticing the other doctor in sickbay.
(Hope)
"Thanks, doc, well I have some work to catch up on. I will be in my office if I am needed, or if you need me." She said hoping to keep a better eye on that officer, so she scooted to her office, and sat down behind the desk finding a lot of padds on her desk. She sighed and picked up the first one.
She was using her computer on her desk to keep an eye on that officer, and when he was headed for the bridge, she jumped up quickly and headed that way. She found that she had made it there before he did, and she waited for him to arrive. She decided to report in while waiting, and walked over to the Commander. She stood at attention and smiled. She tried to hide that look of mischief, but she felt that she had failed to do so.
"Reporting in for duty, commander." She said as the captain arrived on the scene.
She watched the captain sit down in his chair, and then jump quickly back to his feet. She tried not to laugh, and managed to supress it somehow. She noticed that the commander was looking at him strangely, and that he was checking his seat. She knew he would find the live wire just beneath his seat, which she had replicated herself. She had connected it to his console, and just hoped that it didn't look like anything that she would do.

Brelev was making a preliminary practice scan when a flurry of motion caught her eye. Captain, or rather Admiral Drew had just sat down in the captain's chair when he jumped up, startled, and tried to regain his dignity.
A few of the officer's let out a few giggles, the cadet's seemed speachless, but Brelev was most interested in Doctor Paris. She'd had a conversation with the young human earlier and Angel had mentioned an affinity for practical jokes. Angel's face gave nothing away, but a skilled prankster would no better then to look guilty. Slyly Brelev grabbed her tricorder and ran a quick scan of the captain's chair from the science consol. An electric shock seemed to be the culprut, how very cruel.
"Are you alright Captain, Perhaps Commander Bate's will be willing to have a look at your chair before he leaves us?" Brelev asked, feigning ignorance.

Michael smiled. "You must have one heck of a short term memory doctor," he chuckled, "we've met several hours ago in the admiral's quarters, when you and Commander Brelev first reported in for duty." He shook his head in mock-dismay as she walked away, and continued to oversee the stocking of supplies. Every mission he'd been part of had resulted in wounded on either side, and generally his wife or the commanding officer were at least among the mildly injured.
~bridge~
S'reena nodded towards the new arrival. "Welcome aboard Cadet Farsir," she said, "I see you've met your instructor. If the stories of his brother are anywhere near truth, Commander Reynolds is an excellent teacher."
She had barely finished speaking when Doctor Paris appeared before them, smartly reporting in for duty. There was something about her posture that alerted S'reena, and only when Drew tried to sit down but jumped up as if something had bitten him, did she know that something had indeed been amiss.
The Romulan didn't smile, as she didn't think this prank was very funny. A concerned look crossed her face as she turned to Drew. "Admiral, are you all right?" she whispered at him, while at the same time Brelev uttered the same quiestion. Yet the next lines of the science instructor alerted S'reena even more, and she shot a warning glance from the Denobulan to the Human woman. "Readyroom, now," she ordered the two, as she cast an apollogetic glance at her commanding officer. "Admiral please excuse us, we'll be right back." She nodded towards Reynolds. "Please have engineering check that chair over and have them report anything they find. If the admiral could've been in danger something must be done immediately."
She herded the two female officers into the readyroom, an angry look crossing her face. "What were you thinking!" she yelled at them, as they stood at perfect attention, "he's an old man, you could've seriously injured him!" She glanced from Paris to Brelev. "I take it you were aware of his seat being wired commander? I'll let you two off with a warning this time, but next such a prank will be noted on your records. Dismissed!"
Some minutes later, S'reena appeared back on the bridge, and she walked straight up to Drew. "I do hope they issued an apollogy," she told him, "that was a very bad prank to pull indeed!"
Next she turned to the cadets. "So, how do you like this ship so far? Have you two been given the grande tour yet?"

Seeing the admiral jump out oof the captains chair from his post Farsir was concered but decided to stay out of it when when he saw Commander Hope take the two woman into the readyroom. A few seconds later all three came out. Commander Hope had said something to the admiral he couldn't fully hear then she said to him and Nurem "So, how do you like this ship so far? Have you two been given the grande tour yet?"
"I haven't looked around very much," Jason replied "but I've been using the panels in the corridors to help me find my way so far. I'll get to know the ship good enough not to use them, I just don't know how long that'll be," he finished with a little chuckle.

Drew glared at the officers around the bridge as he jumped up from his chair with a jolt. He could see many struggling unsuccessfully to keep there amusement hidden, some he could even hear giggling.
“As you were,” he said sternly, trying to regain some of his dignity.
“Admiral, are you alright?” S’reena and Brelev asked together.
“I am fine thank you,” Drew said, straightening his uniform, “it seems my chair has discovered a mind of its own.”
Too busy sorting himself out, Drew didn’t notice whatever S’reena did, but the next thing the Admiral knew, S’reena had dragged Brelev and Dr. Paris into the ready room, with a very serious and angry look on her face.
While she was gone, Drew decided it might be best if he continued to stand in the centre of the bridge, rather than risk taking another seat. If they would booby trap the CO’s seat, who knows what they might do the First Officers?
Pacing the bridge, Drew began aware that most of the gathered Cadets were watching him closely, maybe expecting him to yell at any moment. However Drew had no intention of getting angry, no he would get even, maybe not right away, but he would revenge himself.
A few minutes later, Dr. Paris and Brelev walked out of the ready room, both looking a bit guilty, at the same time an Engineer entered the bridge, and with tricorder in hand scanned the centre chair.
“Seems somebody put a live wire in your chair sir,” the Engineer said, trying to repress a smile, “shall I get it out for you?”
“Please,” Drew said in a cold tone, “and have it sent to the Security office.”
“Understood sir,” the Engineer replied, quickly leaving the bridge.
Now the wire had been removed, Drew was free to once again sit in his chair, however every pair of eyes on the bridge were watching him, keen to see what might happen.
Luckily Drew was saved making the decision by the reappearance of S’reena who had clearly dealt with the situation, and was now attracting the attention of the Cadets.
“Commander, I’ll leave things in your capable hands,” Drew said, walking down towards the ready room, “ready the ship for departure, I want to be out of here within the hour.”
He heard S’reena call out “aye aye sir,” as the ready room doors closed behind him. Alone finally in the privacy of his office, Drew rubbed his sore behind, and after ordering a drink from the replicator, very carefully sat down in front of his desk, calling up the personal file of Dr. Paris on his computer screen…

Cadet Pride was late reporting on board the Hanson the meassage from his home world had been a shock. He wanted to do something but couldn't this was his life now he had cut all ties to home to join Starfleet his family didn't like the idea they had plans for him. There would be time to reflect on that later. Cadet pride stowed his gear and reported to the bridge. He wasn't looking forward to reporting in late. As Cadet pride entered the turbo lift to take him to the bridge he passed a senior officer in a wheel chair. It had been the first time he had ever seen one and did his best not to stare.
Cadet pride reported to the Bridge and saw the other cadets at there stations. His gut was telling him this was not going to go well for him. He saw the commander sitting in the center chair. Cadet pride gathered him self up shut down his emotions and reported to the commander.
Commander Cadet Pride reporting onboard as order as your helm officer.
Cader Pride waited while the commander sat there and staired at him. His thought betraying nothing. It was time to begin his new life and hopefuly a meaningful one.

Commander Graxen was sitting in his counselor office during the boarding of supplies and the new cadets. He didn't see on the roster that there would be any CNS nor CNO cadets. So, he took the time to review the psychological profile of the new cadets.
Rumors get around quick in the fleet ... and the rumor was that the CEO was retiring. Feeling sad that he only got to serve on one mission with him ... John headed for the bridge.
~bridge~
John entered the bridge to see the Admiral standing in front of his chair with an engineer removing what seemed to be some type of wire; others were trying to hold their composure. Being Bataziod ... he sensed a jovial mood from most on the bridge and it was directed toward the Admiral. He too began to smile and walked up to the Admiral. Under his breadth so no-one but the two could here, "Cadets starting early this mission?"
<drew>
Continuing in a normal tone, "are there any Cadets that I will be in-charge of this mission?"
<drew>
"Do you mind if I mind the helm this time out?" John asked. John really missed piloting and wanted every chance to keep his hours up.
<drew>
~~~~
Looking back, he saw Bates. Walking over John said, "I have heard that you are leaving us? ... is that correct?"
<bates>
"I'm sorry to hear that ... I was hoping to server with you longer; but is one mission is it ... then that is what I will take." John knew that Bates didn't like counselors ... but if he was indeed going to retire ... it was policy that each exiting officer hold an exit review from a counselor. John asked, "I know you dread the exit review from any counselor ... but I would love to offer my services for that review. I promise that it will much shorter than if you choose to have it from Star-fleet headquarters." That comment was accompanied with a mischievous smile.
Tinyl looked up as the Admiral stood up from the Center Seat, startled. She glanced around the bridge allowing her betazoid senses to do their work without others noticing. One thing she was good at was observing without appearing to do so. She frowned as others laughed at the Admirals misfortune and the appearant joke played on him. She shook her head as the three disappeared into the Ready Room and then returned a short time later, her attention once again on her station and the controls.
Upon the return to the bridge Commander Hope approached the cadets and asked. "So, how do you like this ship so far? Have you two been given the grande tour yet?"
Tinyl had seen her quarters, and the bridge but nothing else, there hadn't been time. "No Sir, I haven't seen much more of the ship other than my quarters and the bridge." she said as she turned to face those in the center of the bridge once more. "I'd like to see more of the ship though." she replied as she absently brushed imaginary wrinkles from her uniform.
(OOC: Alright, I'll do a couple more posts. But this needs to be done by Thursday, Friday at the latest)
Commander Graxen spotted Bates at the back of the Bridge, just watching for a bit before he departed. Walking over John said, "I have heard that you are leaving us? ... is that correct?"
Noah nodded. "Yes, it's true. I'm retiring. This last mission made me a bit old before my time, but I should still listen to what my body's telling me."
"I'm sorry to hear that ... I was hoping to server with you longer; but is one mission is it ... then that is what I will take. I know you dread the exit review from any counselor ... but I would love to offer my services for that review. I promise that it will much shorter than if you choose to have it from Star-fleet headquarters." That comment was accompanied with a mischievous smile. Noah smiled a bit himself. "A shortened version would be greatly appreciated. When do you want to do it?"
Noah smiled a bit himself. "A shortened version would be greatly appreciated. When do you want to do it?"
"How about now ... we can go to the conference area right here and do it ... you know its just Star-fleet wanting to know your condition upon leaving the fleet."
Noah and John went into the conference room and started the review ...
~~~ "Commander Graxen exit review report on Commander Noah Bates star-date 2392.0109 ... exit review not possible at headquarters due to the timely nature of his reason for retiring," John smiled at Noah while saying this. "Holovid recording not possible audio only."
John sat a recording device in front of Noah and started," Commander simple answers are all that are expected and we will start when your ready"
"I'm as ready as I will ever be," spouted Noah ... clearly hating this review already.
"OK then ... here we go ... State the reason your retiring from the fleet." John new this would get the Commander ... it was already known, "this is just for the record Commander."
"All right then ... just a few questions ... How would you discern your last posting as CEO of the Hanson?"
"How do you explain some of the run-ins you have had with Commander Hope?"
Pressing the pause button for a few moments because it was clear that Noah was getting upset, "Commander, it has been in your record and if I didn't ask the question someone a Star-fleet would have wanted you to return to answer it ... I had to ask. I will finish this up ... " Pressing the record button.
"Would you have stayed in Star-fleet if the event of the last mission hadn't got you to this bodily state?"
~~~
"well ... that wraps it up ... I will list you as psychologically fit and stable at time of leaving Star-fleet and that should influence any future dealings you have with Star-fleet ..." Looking at Noah with a hopeful eye, "especially if you should decide to return to the fleet ... "
Standing and shaking his hand John then gave a salute, "It has been an honor and a privilege to work with Commander ... have a fun time out there."
