The nearest star system that hasn't been canonly is O' Ryan's Planet. It's more or less in the same direction as Assailant. Is this where we are going? It's about 7 ly from Tammeron, at warp 9.9 that would take us approx. 20 hours.

I hate to be a bother, and I would do this if I could, but the Nevada board seems to be getting clutterd. We have 33 threads currently, including missions that occured before I arrived on board... that's over a year ago.

I prefer to keep all the past missions on the Nevada board as it makes them easier to find and read than if they get hidden away in the Mission Archives. As for the OOC threads, I get rid of them when they lose importance, most of the ones remaining still have some relevance I feel. But thats just my opinion...

Hi,
Personally, I'm a sentimental idiot. I have over 1,000 archived e-mails in only one of my accounts. Yesterday I deleted the text messages off of my phone: over 600. I never get rid of letters. So me? Keep the threads. Never know when they'll come in handy. Of course, I'd not fight it if they were deleted. That's just me.
Live long and propser, Qundar out.

A few things.
a) I am indeed on LOA for a few more days, and maybe a bit more after that, I'm not sure yet. b) Steve is on the ship. c) I need to sleep.

Okay, on the planet I want people grouped as below:
Group A: Harrias Jira, Hannah Stevenson, Frek Thelev, Jason Farsir
Group B: Steve, Alexis Loki, Lorre Melain, Cyle Johnson, David Ramsey
If Nick starts posting, you can join whichever team you want.

I take it this means that group B is leading the non-essential crew evacuation and the Captain stays behind with a skeleton crew until the last possible moment?

Outline after talking with Harrias
Lorre will go down to the planet asap and start to set up some sort of base camp and take everyone on the ship in the escape pods. Cyle & Nick will go down with Marines to sort out security ect.
Myself and Lex are going to head down to the shuttle bay to use the sensors on the runabout I bought with me to find out more about this planet. Then we will leave on it and for some reason crash on the planet near to Lorre and meet up with the rest of the crew.
Jira will order these two things before the mission briefing is over we will go and do our stuff and then Team A are left to try and sort out what's going on and then crash on the planet
;D

I take it they'll be using escape pods. Shuttles don't need to land on the planet, they could set course for a Federation planet.

am I the only one who's noticed how long our thread pages are, you need to pack a lunch just the scroll down to the bottom!
Here I thought they switched pages at a certain length, but I geuss it's by number of posts and our posts are very long (I get a page to a page and a half when I stick mine in word doc)

But as far as I know they can only be set for the entire board, not for each forum seperatly. So I guess we're stuck with the long threads. Unless we do every paragrapgh in a seperate post.

I have been considering ... since my character doesn't really appear until people start landing on the planet, what if his pod landed a bit shy of where it is supposed to? I mean, he and his podmates could land closer to the civilization on the planet and possibly be captured ... wouldn't that lead to a rescue or if anything a search?

On the planet the intention is that we integrate with the local civilisation, living and in the end, fighting alongside them... against each other
