"Keep practicing ensign," she ordered, "because once we enter the asteroid field, you and Captain Larok will be going out there in his fighter wing." She turned to face her helmsman and nodded to take the ship out of warp.
The starts slowed into almost a stand-still as the ship dropped from warp. "Disengage cloaking device at your disgression commander," she ordered.
The Vulcan watched the younger man work, quietly praising his swift responses to orders given. She knew he was struggling with the control of his emotions. Temporarily lost in her musings, she failed to notice the large 'boulder' that was coming at them. So far, she hadn't paid much attention to the sensation of passing through objects when cloaked, and she hadn't especially felt the need to do so now.
When she felt the ship decloak, she also heard Tovan's warning cry just as the proximity warnings went off. Looking up, she saw the boulder materialise in the bulkhead, but parts of it were breaking off and flying across the bridge. One struck her in the side as she ducked away, while another struck Thorad squarely on the head. The Andorian uttered a cry of agony and collapsed.
"Commander Halthor report to the bridge!" Sonak shouted, slapping the intercom into active mode, "Doctor D'Angelo, medical emergency on Minerva!" She glanced around. "Ensign An, Captain Larok, change of plans! Evacuate Minerva, decks two through to six. The entire deck!" She didn't wait for them to acknowledge the order, she just expected them to follow it.
"Commander Fox, head down to Logan's quarters and tell him to report to Discordia's conference room. Tovan, come to a full stop and report to Discordia. I will wait here until Halthor and D'Angelo arrive. Do not wait for me, I shall join you on Discordia as soon as they report. Go!"
She knew she might never report there, but she also knew she should. D'Angelo would tend to Thorad, would transfer him to her readyroom as internal transporters were damaged. And Halthor would do what he could to contain the damage. Sadly, she gazed at the asteroid that was wedged into the hull. It wasn't a large asteroid, but large enough to damage the primary module.

After proceeding with the checks a loud bang when against the hull of the ship, Commander Halthor looked in awe. Halthor didn't know the ship could get damaged in these kind of situations but indeed it could, so it was apparent that his help was needed on the bridge.

=/\=Understood, Commodore, Heading to the bridge now!=/\=
Halthor tapped his communicator after replying then made his way through engineering then into the turbolift. "Bridge" The Turbolift shot off with amazing speed, then stopped at the bridge level. Arriving he saw the crew was in distress and everyone was trying to get everything in order. The Commodore looking out the viewscreen, then saw Halthor approach.
"Im here, ready and able, Commodore, what would you have for me to do?"

Marco sped to the Minerva's bridge. The way was littered with debris, as bulkheads had large mineral deposits intruding to form awkward passageways that used to be wide hallways.
The turbolifts were down, and Marco found himself in the Jeffries Tubes, climbing to the bridge. Again, protruding asteroids filled the tube, making it nearly impossible for the Doctor to pass at one point. His fit figure, however, allowed him to slither through.
Finally breaking through the wall grate, that had been fused to the wall in some sort of exothermic reaction due to phase shifting, Marco found himself finally on the bridge. He stood and put his hands on his knees, bending over and heaving to catch his breath. The air quality in the tube was minimal. The Doctor opened his medical equipment and administered a hypospray to himself before he became asphyxiated from the lack of oxygen.
D'Angelo tended to the Andorian as soon as he was able to breathe normally. "I hate phase shifting." he said as he ran a biological diagnostic on Thorad. Of course, he did enjoy the benefits of transporters, which used similar technology... so the statement wasn't true. But the medical effects... the medical effects due to transporting, cloaking gone wrong, and so on, all were horrific.
"You are all lucky the boulders didn't materialize inside of yourselves, or fused with yourself!" He was serious. Of all the medical reports, all have been projectile impacts. None were multiphasic wounds.
"He'll be alright." Marco said to the Commodore. "I'm going to leave him here until he wakes up. I think moving him in this situation might be dangerous, considering the damage done on other decks." He administered a hypospray. "That'll stop any internal bleeding."
"What about yourself," Marco said to the Commodore. Doctors made horrible patients, and the Commodore - being a Doctor by training - was no exception. "I see your holding yourself funny. Did you need attention?"

Sonak had remained silent, watching D'Angelo work with distant fascination and admiration. Now, she nodded. "Part of the asteroid struck me, I have not yet assessed the damage, but as I am still able to stand, I assume it must be minor," she answered, gingerly removing her hand from her side to allow the CMO access to the injury. "If you wish me to sit down, please say so," she added.
Without moving too much, she turned to face the chief engineer. "Assess damage to Minerva and detach all modules manually as soon as An and Larok sound the all clear of Minerva," she ordered, then nodded towards Thorad's station. "Assign damage control teams to damaged sections, we need the asteroid removed. I assume the cloaking device has also been damaged upon impact?"
She listened as Halthor reported on the extend of the damage. "While the doctor keeps an eye on Thorad, I want you to evaluate the upgrades and correllate them to Tovan's navigational error. This accident should not have been possible with the new upgrades to our systems."
When D'Angelo gestured to her seat, she sat down without complaint and allowed him to treat the injury, listening to his murmurs. He still hadn't told her how serious it was. "Doctor, as soon as you are done with me, I need to get down to Discordia, before the modules are detached. We have no transporters, thus when the modules are attached before I can leave, I am trapped here with you until further notice."
She grimaced, forcing herself to smile. "I doubt you wish to be stuck with another doctor, who might even correct you here and there?" She was teasing, and by the twitching of Halthor's antennae she could she the Andorian was both surprised and understanding.

“Keep practicing ensign,” Recktus ordered, “because once we enter the asteroid field, you and Captain Larok will be going out there in his fighter wing.”
“Yes, ma’am,” responded An, “Computer resume prog…” The entire ship rattled while An’s teams fell to the holodeck floor. Red alert sounded, blazing the momentary silence of the holodeck. Sparks flew from the arch and the yellow gridded wall.
“What was that?” asked one of An’s crewmen, trying to hold back immediate panic. The smell of electrical fire crept into their nostrils. The holographic images phased and blinked. As An reached to tag his combadge, the Commodore came over the comlink. “Ensign An, Captain Larok, change of plans! Evacuate Minerva, decks two through to six. The entire deck!” ordered the Commodore. Are we under attack? Was someone waiting for us? An pushed the questions from his mind and replaced them with evacuation procedures.
“Aye, aye, ma’am, understood,” An answered back. An watched his two, six member teams stand in line, facing him, waiting their instructions and orders. Most of them older than he, and more experienced in Starfleet. He immediately picked out the first timers by seeing their frightened expressions.
“Computer, display Minerva schematic and highlight decks mentioned in alternating colors,” An charged. The side-view of the starboard side of Minerva appeared before An’s security teams, blinking faintly. Ensign An ordered his crewmen to specific parts of the ship, bringing special attention to sickbay, astrometrics, labs, phaser maintenance, cloak control, and hydroponics.
“I need Team Leader Aleph and Team Leader Beth to report to me when your decks are cleared,” An began, “I want tricorder sweeps and computer sweeps as safety precautions to ensure we have everyone. Team leaders are responsible for rechecking evacuated personnel. Any questions? Go.”
When the last of his security personnel left the holodeck, An fell to his knees and prayed, “O Lord, God of Abraham, I pray thee, send us good speed this day, and shew kindness unto thy servant. Amen.”

"While I have no interest in stranding myself with you, Commodore, I think it's best you stay. You have severe hemorrhaging under your ribcage. You can even see it without a tricorder."
The verdigris discoloring could clearly be seen through the rip marks in the uniform. The Commodore's protesting before and during the examination showed that she knew of her condition, and wished to downplay its seriousness. Vulcans were so stubborn. As a valued trait, though, so was Marco, and it countered the commanding officer's personae perfectly.
"One thing you cannot tell just by looking is that this is not your average run of the warp core hemorrhage." Marco fumbled through his bag of medical supplies, coming up empty handed from what he was searching for.
"I don't have a protein synthesizer for the muscular regenerator." He fumbled a bit more. "Here's the regenerator..., but I can't find the..." it had to be there somewhere.
"I cannot fix your wound without it. To fix the hemorrhaging, a simple subdermal tissue replicator will not work." He was preaching to the choir, however. Commodore Reckus knew medicine, and perhaps she knew it better than Marco as far as triage went. Still, he found the need to explain each situation as if she were the average patient.
"Are transporters online yet?" Doctor D'Angelo asked Commander Halthor, interrupting the start of obeying the Commodore's orders. "I need some equipment from main sickbay and..." he sighed. "Nevermind. I'll climb down there myself."
He mumbled as he made his way into the access tube. "DO NOT go anywhere, Commodore."
But if he knew her as well as he thought he did, she would most likely ignore him, in hopes she could take care of the business on the Discordia. After all, there were medical teams there, and the Discordia sickbay had the necessary equipment to remedy the internal bleeding. Only, Marco wouldn't be on the Discordia, leaving her to whatever Doctors happened to be there - assuming they were still alive.
"I'll be back as quickly as possible. Make sure our unconscious Andorian friend doesn't strain his neck if he were to wake up. He needs to keep cortical activity at a minimum until I can give him a few stimulants. I can't give them to him until he wakes up."
At the end of his sentence, Marco's head disappeared and he backed himself into the jeffries tube, and headed toward main sickbay.

Making the preparations at the Bridge, Halthor found himself focused on more tasks than needed. A crew running around needing assistance, and the ship in critical dismay. It was evident that something had to be done and quick, and if it wasnt that would mean the end of the crew themselves. Many of the crew members were getting impatient with duties and made there way to try focusing on more critical tasks. Halthor also was intrigued to find that the doctor of the ship was trying to get things done as well, with some questions aimed at Halthor.
[green]"Are transporters online yet?" Doctor D'Angelo asked Commander Halthor, interrupting the start of obeying the Commodore's orders. "I need some equipment from main sickbay and..." he sighed. "Nevermind. I'll climb down there myself."[/green] Clearly irritated, the Doctor noticed the flaws of engineering and that Halthor was not a one man crew in his operations. Engineering is a hard field to get into whenever something like this gets out of hand. With the ships internal operating systems shutting down one by one, Halthor needed to get to the problem and fast before it erupted.
The case as it was, a problematic ship with a giant asteroid in the hull, was not going to be easy dealing with, but with Halthor's training back on earth on engineering it would help him better understand the problem and fix it. Proceeding down the jeffries tube with the doctor, Halthor tapped into the wall mainframe and checked to see which areas were down on power and system relay. According to the reports, almost all decks were reading massive power failure and running on back up power. The asteroid must have mashed right into Engineering, how was he to pull this Massive heaping space rock out of the ship with only minimal power. But Halthor had an idea.
Continuing on his way through the jeffries tube, the walls and light fixtures within the tube were uneasy due to structural failure. One time Halthor even noticed a Light fixture out of its placing and hanging. So Halthor went to the wall panel and closed off that area and shielded it from interior explosion. Thinking about the new delay, the doctor and engineer had to make there way to there destinations and quick at that. After a few problems had been fixed in the tubes they each were able to make it to there stations but had to report on there findings.
With Halthor near Engineering, he noticed a few crewmembers lying on the ground and having massive contusions on there faces from explosions. The wall panels were leaking out gases and flame, so Halthor closed the area near engineering off, then called the doctor.
=/\=Commander Halthor, to Doctor D'Angelo, we are having problems near Engineering, we need assistance, bring medical team, ASAP=/\=
<tag D'Angelo>
After Halthor's message was recieved he made his way through the same jeffries tube and went along another route to engineering, making his way, next to the door of Engineering. Popping the Jeffries Tube top off, Halthor found himself in Engineering, walking next to the door, he tapped into the wall panel and activated the shields in this department. Then looking around he found the main panel for all power to and from the ship, accessing the display he found all entries of damage, and corrected power defiencies on many of the ships decks, but not all.

"Commander Fox, head down to Logan's quarters and tell him to report to Discordia's conference room. Fox acknowlegded Sonak's request and quickly walked to the nearest turbolift, only to find out it was inoperative. He turned around. In his hurry he hadn't noticed that several of the wall panels were blinking a bit, but he knew what this meant. This section was running on auxiliary power now. He sighed and walked to an access-panel and thought "Only way to get there now is through the tubes", opened the hatch and crawled inside. Several decks lower on the crew quarters deck he crawled out again and walked to Byrne's quarters. He pressed the control next to the door of the quarters and waited for a little while, but notthing happend. He pressed it again, with the same result. Then he knocked on the door, finally Byrne opened it. "What can i do for you Commander?" Byrne asked and Fox explained they had to go to Discordia's conference room. Byrne nodded in response and both men left to get to the room.

Looking through the ships logs, Halthor saw that all damage was due to the asteriod hitting the hull of the ship, and it was not the best of sites. A good half of decks were damaged, and were awaiting assistance, and the ship needed power. Engineering was quite a mess, and Halthor looked around to see only light fixtures broken on either side, and he focused most of his attention on the well being of the crew. Even if he was to be hurt, he would make sure the ship seperation went perfectly without fail.

Sonak didn't like it one bit; she was needed on Discordia to co-ordinate the test runs while Minerva was being repaired to the best of Halthor's ability. But it appeared she had no choice. If she was haemorrhaging, she shouldn't move even though her earlier movement had probably caused sufficient damage already. "But I need to..." she started, but she was cut off as D'Angelo walked away, muttering something under his breath.
She remained seated in the center chair, gazing at the part of the asteroid that was stuck in the bulkhead. Several decks damaged, and many wounded. ~Elron will be so pleased to hear we managed to damage the ship again~ she thought, frowning.
At least her family was safe on the other module, having been one of the first to get evacuated. She wondered how many people were still stuck on Minerva, unable to get evacuated for one reason or the other. The Vulcan winced as she moved to get more comfortable, her ribs were smarting. She had been unfortunate that her right side had been struck, but she'd been fortunate that the debris hadn't been that large and hadn't struck her harder. If it had, she'd be dead now, considering her physiology was different than that of a Human.
She winced again as she felt the ship shudder. =/\=Commodore, Sonak, beginning ship seperation, hold on to your seat=/\=
She gripped the armrests of her seat a little tighter in the hope she would stop trembling. "Hayes, tend to Thorad!" she snapped at one of the two juniors left on the bridge, "make sure he is secured until D'Angelo comes back."
The crewman nodded and knelt beside the Andorian, keeping his head immobilised until the shudders stopped. "His breathing's shallow," Hayes reported, "and he's bleeding."
With effort, Sonak rose from her seat, gritting her teeth as she inched over to where Thorad was lying unconscious on the deck. "Assist me," she told Hayes, as she started to remove her uniform jacket. Blushing deeply, Hayes helped her remove the jacket as ordered, but he didn't protest. Orders were, after all, orders.
"Rip it up," she then ordered, watching the crewman comply, again without comment. Holding out her hand, she took the strips of cloth from him, folding them, then pressing them against Thorad's head injury. "Head injuries tend to bleed a lot," she explained. "Hold this against his head, but keep it immobile. I will tend to the injury on his chest." Poor Thorad had been struck by two pieces of asteroid. The first had hit him straight on, the second was the one that had struck her first.
Hayes looked concerned. "But the doctor said you shouldn't move," he now protested, "how long do you think you can hold out? You're bleeding yourself, internally too the doc said."
"Until I pass out," she answered curtly,"there are no others left on the bridge to assist. Ensign Delany has to fly this ship now that Tovan has gone to Discordia. She cannot assist me, but you do have your hands free at the moment."
Sonak tapped her combadge, grimacing as she had to shift her position to do so. "bridge to D'Angelo. Do not take too long in getting back here," she ordered, "Thorad is deteriorating, and he is still bleeding. And..." She sighed, hating to report it, "your other patient has moved against standing orders. She will need further treatment with coagulants and sedatives."
She tapped her combadge again. "Minerva to Discordia, report!"

=/\= I'll send a team to engineering, Commander Halthor. Commodore Reckus and Thorad are my first priority. D'Angelo out. =/\=
He had already grabbed the items he needed from main sickbay, and was making his way back toward the bridge of the Minerva when his combadge emitted a voice saying separation was beginning. Marco braced the wall grates as the ship shook violently. The inertial dampers were malfunctioning, and it was a wild ride.
When the shaking ended, Marco continued to the bridge. He sincerely hoped that Commodore Reckus was still present. If she weren't, he would most likely end up being the second in command on the Minerva; not something he was interested in.
With a grunt, he pushed open the wall plate that had been replaced since the last time he entered the conduit on the bridge. He somersaulted out of the wall after accidentally finding himself sideways. Trying to get through the opening with the equipment was daunting, and the damage due to the asteroid made getting out harder than it was getting in.
"Is he stable?" Marco asked, seeing the blood around the Andorian's head. "I cauterized that earlier! Did he get hit again?" He used the cauterizer again.
"Here, you do this," he said to one of the junior officers on the bridge. "Move it back and forth evenly. You'll see the wound turn to a jelly-like substance, then solidify over. Tell me when it reaches a pinkish hue, or you may over-cauterize. I'm going to get my equipment set up."
He turned and grabbed the protein synthesizer. It immediately recognize the sub-dermal tissue regenerator sitting on the bridge.
"Commodore, could I bug you to stand?" The proud Vulcan tried to stand, but was a little weak. Doctor D'Angelo instinctively put a shoulder underneath her arm, and helped her up. "If we don't get the artery sutured in the standing position, it will regenerate shorter than is needed." He positioned her just right, propping her on the console behind the Captain's chair.
Programmed for Vulcan physiology, he begin to concentrate on where a hematoma had begun to form; a slight bulge from the Commodore's side. It was filled with blood, and was beginning to put pressure on her lungs.
"Sir, the wound is cauterized." the junior officer on the other side of the bridge stated.
"Ok. Hold on - I'll be there in a minute." Marco shouted over his shoulder.
"The arteries aren't in that bad of a condition," Marco mentioned. "you are actually just dealing with a rip in some veins, which is luckily. The pressure is significantly lower." It was quite obvious, though, as blood that returned to the heart in the veins took a lighter green coloring, and blood in a Vulcan artery had a darker, more putrid green. The hematoma, which was only bruising earlier, was of a lighter nature.
"There, we've patched things up internally- Now I can sit you back down." He let the Commodore sit. "I'm sure you know how to use this. Do you have the ability to move your arm back and forth? I'll let you do the sub-dermal tissue regeneration. I'll get back to Thorad."
He didn't have to explain to the Commodore Doctor-by-training how to use the device, which was a plus, and so he made his way quickly over to Thorad.
The cauterized site was bubbling slightly, indicative of holding the irradiating tool over the wound for longer than required. "Good job," Marco said. Technically, too much cauterizing would only cause scarring, and it was better to be safe than sorry.
"He's going to be alright. I've stabilized him now." He said back to the Commodore after a few minutes of using the medical equipment he brought from sickbay. "Do we have any other emergencies?"
Immediately when he said it, he snapped his fingers. "Engineering!"
=/\= Doctor D'Angelo to Alice =/\= He would have her mobilize a team over to main engineering.
=/\= Alice here, we are in engineering, what do you need? =/\=
=/\= Oh, do you need help? =/\= The woman was a god send.
=/\= Situation under control for now. I'll contact you if we need something. Alice out. =/\=
Thorad muscles flinched, causing the junior officer to tap Marco to gain his attention. "Is that normal?"
"That'll happen. He has had severe head trauma." he took a few tricorder readings. "He's showing no signs of seizer though. It is probably a byproduct of the deterioration of the sheath on the brain due to cauterizing."
The junior officer looked nervous. "Did I do something wrong?"
"Oh no no... you were just fine. It's an acceptable risk for the outcome we receive. We can always replace that later. For now, stray signals may be moving around his brain." The Andorian's antenna twitched, "like that."
He tended to Thorad the best he could as he waited for Commodore Reckus to announce she had completed her treatment.

After the collision, Tovan sat in stunned silence for a couple minutes. How could he have let something like this happen? It was his duty to be constantly checking the sensors, making sure that there were no obstacles in the way, especially during uncloaking procedures. Had his attention wandered in that crucial split second?
He was snapped out of his reverie by Sonak's orders. Quickly, he put aside his concerns for the moment and headed towards the turbolift, to begin the evacuation. Inside the turbolift, his thoughts again turned to those of guilt. Even if sensors hadn't picked up the asteroid, he should have noticed the holes and at least brought the ship to a full stop before uncloaking. His thoughts were interrupted yet again by a quick jolt as the turbolift crashed to a halt.
=/\= Tovan to engineering=/\= He called, but met with no response. Comm must be out as well in the section. More damage from the asteroid no doubt. How many had materialized in the hull? Could one do this much damage. He pried the doors open, and found himself in the corridor near the holodecks. He had to get to Discordia before the separation took place. A shudder told him he was too late.

Continuing the Configurations in Engineering, halthor had alot of work to do, especially since, it was apparent that many decks were flucuating on power and life support on all decks was just holding. Halthor had to make sure that the crew was absolutely safe and on top of that, he had some personnel near engineering who were hurt and needing assistance after the ship seperation. But low and behold after the ship was seperated the heaping rock went with the other part of the ship, and those areas would continue to flucuate in damage. Tending to his duties. On Discordia, the personnel were Logan, An, Lorak, and fox. All of which were trying to get the Discordia in shape, while D'Angelo, Sonak, Halthor and Tovan were all working relentlessly to try and fix out something.
Halthor maintaining his self being because of the current situation, went through mental images of what might happen to the ship if the rock were to break off at some point, or tear into tiny little pieces. If it did that, it might shread through other parts of the ship endangering many of the crew. So it was effective to try to simulate a action through the panel that was next to him. Halthor approached the engineering panel. "Computer display for me what would happen if we used the minerva to knock off the rock from the ship, and display the success rate of the actions" Low and behold it was 50 % success rate. Not good at all. Halthor went through his mind again to try and defulge another strategy, "Computer display for me, if we could engage shielding on all areas of the ship and around the rock, could we reverse speed, causing the rock to peel off the discordia, thus pushing all power to external and interior shielding." The success rate proved to be what he wanted a 80%
Touching his commbadge =/\=Commander Halthor to Commodore Sonak, I may have a solution, please respond. =/\= No message came through, he had to stay in engineering, and yet no personel was to be seen. There was only one thing left to do. Halthor touched the panel "Engineering computer, engage tango alpha sequence. All power, sustain for the time being until i get back" Halthor pressed the button on the console and continued on his way through the engineering jeffries tube, then on his way to the bridge. After a tedious walkthrough once again, he found himself on the bridge, with Commodore sonak in a restless state. "Commodore Sonak, you need medical assitance, as well as some rest, I need to bring up that we need to engage a ship pull of of the asteroid, with our shields in tact, as engineering continues. Will that be necessary, I checked through simulations and it came out with a suprising 80% success rate."

The Vulcan had tried to twist around to get at the injury, but hissed again in agony when she couldn't reach. Her right arm, she couldn't move far enough back to get at the injury properly and with her left, she couldn't reach it properly at all, not without twisting in all possible angles. And it was the twisting part she couldn't get done, considering the position of the injury, which was in close proximity to her heart. And, being a left-handed person, she couldn't get at an injury on her right.
She sighed in frustration, finally putting the instrument aside and leaned back in her seat. "Doctor?" she called, but D'Angelo didn't reply immediately. She could understand, he was busy saving poor Thorad's life.
Halthor returned to the bridge after an unknown length of time, during which Sonak drifted in and out of conscious, starting to become increasingly unaware of her surroundings. She was having a massive headache and her right side was in agony. Cold sweat was visible upon her brow.
"Commodore Sonak, you need medical assitance, as well as some rest, I need to bring up that we need to engage a ship pull of of the asteroid, with our shields in tact, as engineering continues. Will that be necessary, I checked through simulations and it came out with a suprising 80% success rate."
She breathed heavily, trying to get the pain under control. "Can it be done?" she asked, missing the success rate part in his report. At his nod, she attempted a nod of her own. "Do it," she managed, "and find An and Larok, they could use the fighters to assist."
The Vulcan passed out again, sliding out of her seat onto the deck with a soft 'thud'.
_________
Crewman Greta Schiff climbed through the turbolift shaft; the lift had failed to show up at the deck she called for it, after missing the evac call. She had forced open the doors together with her partner David Giesson. The two security officers soon encountered the turbolift on their way up, climbed around it with great effort, then climbed up top.
"We gotta check if someone's in here," Giesson whispered at his partner, looking at the white-faced woman. He knew she was dead-scared of heights and she needed all the encouragement she could get on getting to the bridge.
Greta nodded, holding on to the ladder for dear life. David returned the nod then opened the hatch to the top of the car. "Do you need assistance?" he called down, watching the Vulcan trapped in the car.

[green]She breathed heavily, trying to get the pain under control. "Can it be done?" she asked, missing the success rate part in his report. At his nod, she attempted a nod of her own. "Do it," she managed, "and find An and Larok, they could use the fighters to assist."[/green]
"Aye Commodore, ill get right too it, since im already on the bridge we can commence the ship pull out here, with the engineering terminal beside me." Halthor approached the terminal then tapping the display, "Disengage code tango, then give me access to the ship, access code roger theta" halthor replied. The ship then went out of red alert and to green status, "To all personnel, This is Commander Halthor, I will be beginning a ship wide pull out from the asteroid, please hold on to a wall or something with a hook, because if you dont you will indeed hurt yourself." After the reply had been made the Ship itself pushed off steadily from the asteroid with shields in tact.
"All main personnel aboard the discordia, status report please, from the display screen we can see a Asteroid on the horizon."
<Discordia personnel>
"Perfect, until further notice, D'Angelo our Chief Medical Officer is head of Command until our Commodore comes back from her status. She clearly is not in the state to perform her duties at this time, I would like all staff personnel to report to the briefing room for a status report and some words from our doctor. That is all" Commander Halthor replied over the intercom then sat back down looking over the display in engineering trying to maintain ship power and systems.
After fixing the ship for a bit from the pull out, halthor then proceeded to the briefing room in anticipation for the Doctor and the status report.

After being bounced back and forth after the impact of the asteroid, Byrne stopped thinking about tagging with Fox and focused on repairing the ship in leau of the separation measure. Shooting communications with D'Angelo on Sonak's status, Logan kept a level head and proceeded to fall back into his old position and used the Discordia's holo-systems to address the impact issue.
Doing so, he hoped to aid the new CEO in removing the rock from the hull and getting medical assistance to the CO. Running scenarios, he logged the info into his personal tricorder.
Watching the action on the heads-up display in the briefing room, Logan ran more scenarios for the removing the rock from the top part of the ship. Coming to the conclusion that using the personal shuttle as an impact leverage between the hull and prying the rock loose.

=/\= Belay those orders. =/\= Marco was not happy with the maneuver the new engineer had made, and made it well known throughout the ship with the canceling of the Andorian's orders.
He popped up from his position over Thorad so he could visibly see Commander Halthor and Commodore Reckus. "She is NOT incapacitated. She just needs to run the subdermal metabolizer over her side." He gave an angry look at Sonak while he was at it. If he was going to dish out nasty looks, he was going to dish them out to everyone that deserved one.
"If you needed assistance, I could have given it to you." Marco was already at the Commodore, turning on the device.
Leaving no room for interruption since Marco's communique to the crew to stay put, Marco continued on his tirade. He had calmed a bit, but now focused his verbiage toward Halthor.
"What sort of shenanigans are you trying to pull here? This isn't a training operation, this is a real ship, with a real crew!" The Commodore could be seen relaxing as the pain in her side -- quite literally, not figuratively -- eased up. Marco, the other pain in her side, continued speaking.
"I am the Doctor, and I decide when and if the Commodore is incapacitated." he spoke upward, =/\= Computer, transfer all security codes back to the Commodore =/\=
~/\~ Command codes are currently in control of Commodore Reckus ~/\~
=/\= Were they ever transfered? =/\=
~/\~ Negative ~/\~
Doctor D'Angelo slammed the tricorder shut he was using. "You relieved her of command without taking the computer codes! There is a reason you don't have access to this stuff."
For now, Marco was done complaining. He would bring it up again, in private, after this debocle... assuming again they made it out alive. "Just get the damned engines online and do your job, not mine"
He cleared his throat and lowered his tone before addressing the Commodore, "You should be all set now, Commodore. You are re-capacitated." He even managed to crack a smile.
When he finally finished speaking he stormed off. He was offended, angry, tired, hungry... this was teaming to be another eventful mission, and that deeply annoyed Marco. This time, there wasn't Alice to console him. She was in main engineering, and was needed there. He punched a console before dipping back into the jeffries tube. Thorad would be fine, he just needed to rest until his neural activity settled down. The junior officer on the bridge would contact him when that happened.

After his quick prayer on the holodeck, Ensign An set out to check on his security personal’s evacuating proceedings. As he stepped into the corridor, he bumped into Lieutenant Commander Tovan.
“Excuse me, sir. Why are we evacuating? Are we under attack? ____________
“To all personnel, This is Commander Halthor, I will be beginning a ship wide pull out from the asteroid, please hold on to a wall or something with a hook, because if you don’t you will indeed hurt yourself.”
An anchored himself with the security console of the tertiary bridge aboard the Discordia. How’s that for an asteroid sample, Commander Fox? An asked sarcastically to himself. The ship shuttered, whined and strained as the asteroid was being ripped from the bulkheads. An imagined chunks of the Vesuvius being torn away along with the asteroid.
Besides occasional sarcasm, a much more serious question flooded An’s mind. Why didn’t the computer detect the asteroid before disengaging the cloak? With all of our new upgrades, surely this impact ought to have been preventable. An looked forward to maneuverability practice with the fighters in the asteroid field and felt disappointed that it had to be cancelled. He missed sling shooting around asteroids, as he did in his recent academy days. He also wanted to externally view the Vesuvius from a distance. Starfleet beautifully designed the Vesuvius and An wanted to see it among the natural magnificence of an ancient asteroid field.
As the ship-wide tremors ceased, Commander Vander Halthor’s voice came into his ears. “All main personnel aboard the Discordia, status report please, from the display screen we can see a Asteroid on the horizon.” An sent his recently review security reports from his personnel, in addition to updated damage report.

After the ship had pulled out, and the crew were busy stabilizing from the events of the what recently happened Halthor, trying to focus on engineering, continued his steady analysis and careful work on putting energy to it was needed. The ship was not looking good after it had pulled out. But after the pull out, the energy could be put in exterior areas to where it could be regenerated, thus giving ship power back to one hundred percent capability. Once the Commander had called the report out to the doctor, knowing full well of his actions, it was evident that Doctor D'Angelo was not in the happiest of moods to be taking command, and knew that the commodore was going to be capable of handling the ship. Halthor needed to speak with the Doctor, and try to settle the relationship he had with other crew members, and loosing one, would not be the likeliest approach at trying to handle a situation.

Commander Halthor approached the Doctor "For the time being, im sorry for what has happened, and will continue to focus on the task at hand, this was inconsiderate of what i did to the Commodore not knowing of her status. I just thought she was not capable of doing what she needed to so I only thought what i needed to do what was necessary, If you are angry you have that right, and I will continue to do my job, as i do it" The Commander replied to the doctor as the Doctor walked out.

After the Commander had his words with the Doctor, Halthor made his way to the briefing room to collect all status reports. They were in order, then proceeded down to engineering in the effort to engage fighters for testing. But first, he also needed to get some help for tovan and those stuck in the lift.
=/\=Commander Halthor to Tovan, im getting some teams ready to get you out of there, just stay put, and dont move, I hope to get you out immediately=/\=
<Tag Tovan>
After the Commander replied, he headed to engineering to conduct the fighter simulation program before the actual test was put through.

~Minerva~ The Vulcan sat up a little straighter, feeling much better now that the doctor had tended to her injury. She had, impatiently, listened to the two officers squabbling about who should've been in command if she'd been unfit to command. "Knock it off," she snapped, motioning for D'Angelo to leave the bridge and tend to his duties. With Minerva in her current state, there were bound to be many wounded. "I will care for Thorad," she promised.
She listened as Halthor paged Tovan. "He is stuck in a turbolift?" she asked, raising both eyebrows, "how did he manage that?" She tapped her own combadge, allowing concern to carry into her voice. "Commander Tovan, now is not the time to play hide and seek. Report to the bridge as soon as Halthor's engineers get you out, understood?"
Sonak eased herself from her seat, waving off the Andorian chief engineer as he stepped up to support her. "I am all right, now," she told him, kneeling down beside Thorad. The Andorian operations chief was lying prone on the deck, though his eyes were now open. "I thought they had taught you how to duck in the academy," she asked, smiling down on her friend.
"Not enough," Thorad rasped, trying to sit up.
"Keep still," Sonak ordered, "doctor's orders. If you need to report on anything, or have any theories, you can report from your current lying down position. You are not to move, understood?"
Thorad's antennae twitched in annoyance, but he obeyed. "Yes ma'am," he whispered, closing his eyes briefly.
Sonak sat up, glancing up at Halthor. "Can we remove this rock from my bridge?" she asked, indicating the large part of the asteroid that was still embedded into the hull. Can we use the phase cloak to dislodge it?"
~Discordia~ Jatan repositioned his sleeping daughter against his shoulder, pacing Discordia's bridge as he waited for anyone to contact them. He hadn't seen Logan since everyone was evacuated from Minerva and he was aching to go back to his other children. The two twins had been evacuated along with the other children from the daycare center, but Jatan had been home with little Miriya at that time.
On the background, he heard the general chatter over the intercoms, softly muted by the blips and beeps that were commonly heard on a bridge. Jatan never liked being on Discordia, as to him it still felt the module was unlucky. The doctor had the distinct feeling that Discordia was actually jinxed, but his wife didn't believe in such superstitions.
"Jatan to Logan, come in!" he called again, "Jatan to Fox! Where are you?"
Then, the young security chief wandered onto the bridge. "Ah, Ensign An, do you know where everyone else is? Did my wife make it off Minerva? I can't get through to anyone, are communications down? What's going on? I was told to leave Minerva, but not why."

“Ah, Ensign An, do you know where everyone else is?” Jatan Reckus asked. “Did my wife make it off Minerva? I can't get through to anyone, are communications down? What's going on? I was told to leave Minerva, but not why.” Jatan seemed calm and anxious at the same time. He paced maybe to keep himself focused, keeping himself from soaring off the deep end of concern.
“No, sir, I’m sorry, I don’t know where everyone is neither,” An replied, surprised to see a baby on the bridge. “I was ordered to evacuate Minerva and report here to the Discordia. I received a transmission from Commander Halthor and sent my status report, but received no response. I think that we were hit by a small asteroid,” An said quietly enough to not disturb the sleeping baby girl. The ensign emphasized the word “small” to help ease the Commodore’s husband.
An stepped forward to shake his free hand. “In any event, it is good to meet you, Dr. Reckus,” he said, “I’m going to see if I can get our communications working on the bridge.”
As An turned around, he prayed silently for the Commodore and the rest of her crew.

Frustrated at the lack of communications between the modules, Logan headed for the command center of the Discordia, leaving Fox to his lab work. Upon arriving, he found Jatan nursing Miriya, his sort of god-daughter. Grabbing Jatan's right shoulder, he pressured his hand and told him of the impact of the asteroid on the Main Bridge and the status of his wife and assured him that D'Angelo had stabilized her until the rock could be removed.
Activating the Main Display unit, they could see the lifeless Minvera Module slowly rotating as the weight of the asteroid pulled it. Banging his fists on the console, Byrne yelled," All of this high-tech machinery and we can't miss a frakking asteroid in the middle of space? Being FO makes me feel powerless to do my job. That should be me picking out that rock!" Lowering his head and feeling a little jealous of the new CEO, and helpless to assist the CO.
=/\=Byrne to Fox, do you know what power we have and the status of our Reaction Control Systems? I have a dutiful husband and father here who wants his family intact. =/\=
Tapping into the Main Deflector array, Logan tried to send a sub-space message to Commander Halthor, stating that he could possibly use either the shuttle pods in the Discordia Module or even the landing feet to grab and pull the rock out without ripping away more of the hull. Kind of like a pair of old school pliers.

Shortly after Ensign An began working on the ship’s communications, Chief Engineer Commander Logan Byrne entered the bridge and approached Jatan. An heard while he worked that the asteroid’s impact had injured the Commodore. The ensign feared that the bridge crew may have been hurt or killed, but to hear that the Commodore received serious injuries still shocked him.
He remembered a similar feeling when he first heard his dad was injured during an accident at Utopia Planitia Fleet Yards on Mars in 2368. As Chief of Security, An wanted to be there to protect the Commodore. Maybe I could have detected the asteroid if I didn’t have to go to the holodeck, An thought, beginning to blame himself. At least D’Angelo is there taking care of her.
An looked up from his work as Byrne activated the main viewer. A darkened Minvera, slowly turning next too an irregularly-shaped asteroid. Debris reflected little light as it hung in space, gradually drifting away. With the force-fields up, An could see onto Minerva’s decks and the bridge. I could have been killed if I stayed on the bridge, An thought as he stared on.
Suddenly, the sound of fists hammering the console caught An’s attention before Byrne began yelling. “All of this high-tech machinery and we can't miss a frakking asteroid in the middle of space?” Byrne angrily asked nobody specifically, “being FO makes me feel powerless to do my job. That should be me picking out that rock!”
Byrne turned and headed toward the communications station. An moved over as his senior officer cut into his work, giving him room. Distracted by recent events, Bryne seemed to not even notice An was there. Quickly with experienced skill, the Chief Engineer tapped into the Main Deflector. Soon Bryne was able to send a message to Commander Halthor. So, that’s how you get communications running, An thought sarcastically to himself.

Marco returned a short time later. A few of the smaller boulders had been removed from the bridge, but the large ones still obtrusively remained.
That did not bother Marco, though. There were more important things to worry about. Thorad for instance.
doctor D'Angelo looked to where he left the Andorian lie. "Where did he go?!" he nervously cried out.
"I'm over here, Doc." Thorad said, almost regretfully.
"I thought I said to call me when he wakes up!" he said out loud. "You really shouldn't be sitting up. You need to increase the blood pressure in your head so that your neural activity is suppressed." The instructions might as well have fallen on deaf ears. Thorad remained seated on the floor, his back to the large bolder that had knocked him in the head in the first place.
"At least let me check you." he said, pulling out his tricorder. "Looks like you are healing faster than I thought." Good news, but still no excuse for not listening to Doctor's orders.
"In an hour, we'll see about getting you down to sickbay somehow. You'd really benefit from a bio bed. I'll be back to check up on you."
Marco headed toward the jeffries tube again, making his way back to main sickbay. Along the way he stubbed his toe on a small bolder that matched the color of the floor. "Yeow!" he said. "Get these stupid things out of here!" the Doctor said hot tempered as he disappeared into the access hatch again.

~Before on the Minerva~
[limegreen]Sonak sat up, glancing up at Halthor. "Can we remove this rock from my bridge?" she asked, indicating the large part of the asteroid that was still embedded into the hull. Can we use the phase cloak to dislodge it?"[/limegreen]
"Its likely we can, if we have enough power put into our cloaking systems but for now, we only have enough power to boost primary primary into shielding and if we take that off, we are defenseless leaving tiny asteroid pieces going through our hull. But there may be another way, by tapping into external power, i can use that extra reserve energy by redirecting it to the phase cloak thus causing the phase cloak to happen and we could technically dislodge that rock as you stated." vander replied
[yellow]<tag Sonak>[/yellow]
"Good we shall commence the phase cloak and see what happens" Vander motioned then put all external power to phase cloak and shielding.
[white]~After~[/white]
After the phase cloak was performed Vander was near the Engineering room getting the necessary tasks together in order to pull off a fighter test on the rock. Meanwhile recieving messages, the following came in on intercom.
[limegreen]Tapping into the Main Deflector array, Logan tried to send a sub-space message to Commander Halthor, stating that he could possibly use either the shuttle pods in the Discordia Module or even the landing feet to grab and pull the rock out without ripping away more of the hull. Kind of like a pair of old school pliers.[/limegreen]
"Great idea, we should definately see about doing something about that" Vander noted then waited for the response from Logan.
