The USS Victory left Cardassian space, headed for Bajor. The Captain had already made her way back to her ready-room, preparing to write a long briefing for the Admiral. In the meantime, she had figured everyone could use a little shore leave, and Bajor was nearby.
Mr. Shelby walked up the bar. "So - how's engineering holding up?"
The new arrival to the ship expressed his concerns. "It's going to be a week before it can be cleaned up. That probe wreaked havoc on our internal sensors."
"Well, Lieutenant, I don't want to cut into your shoreleave... but if you really want to, you can stay aboard until it's fixed. The Captain would probably enjoy having someone aboard that she can bounce ship improvements off of." The new Chief Engineer agreed. It would be a great time to get to know the ship as well.
"I expect you to come down to the surface when you are finished! Now, what will it be?" Nack ordered the Lieutenant a drink from the bartender, using his replicator rations to do so.
Commander made a clean getaway when his snail-juice was finished, and made it to the bridge. Shore-leave was welcome, especially on Bajor. They were going to be visiting one of the cave systems known for its natural spring baths. It sounded very relaxing, and Nack hoped to get some of his paper work done while enjoying Oo-mox.
On the bridge, a vision of Bajor getting larger graced the view-screen.
"Commander, we are entering orbit around Bajor. Should I notify the crew?"
"Indeed."
Hailing frequencies were opened, and the crew was addressed.
OOC: Beam down at will and start relaxing! I'll be down on the surface in a day or two to join you.

Tiberian had done with seemingly minimal sleep the previous night, having played poker with the remainder of the junior staff until the wee hours of the morning, and having consumed a fair amount of celebratory whisky in that period. Oddly he didn't feel to rough, and sat in only his underwear as he ate his breakfast and watched the Federation News broadcast. Increasing tensions between the Klingons and the Tholians seemed to dominate the headlines, with a growing number of incidents in the region of the Betreka Nebula. Tiberian mused momentarily on his dissappointment that he was so far away from the front during this period, then focusing instead on his new promotion. one more step, he thought to himself, and I'll have outdone my dad. Come to that I'll have done practically everyone in the family. This consoled his somewhat as he showered and dressed in a crisply laundered uniform. He took special care to replicate himself new rank insignia, and placed his old Captain's bars away with his other unused insignia. As he hurried one last cup of coffee, he heard an announcement over the intercom that shoreleave had been arranged on Bajor. This was the first time since he had left the academy that Tiberian had stepped foot on a planet (at least whilst not disguised as a Cardassian) and he planned to revel in it. As he strapped his usual odds and ends to himself, he saw the Vic drop out of warp, and Bajor loom into view. As he gauged that Bajor would soon be in transporter range, he proceeded out of his quarters and down to cargo bay one, where he guessed his marines would be doing morning PT. He was half right, as all the marines were indeed there, but more than half of them were out of uniform, and they were all lazing about, engaging in idle chatter. Upon Tiberian's entry, Martinez called out. "Officer on deck, ten hut" The marines came sharply to attention in three ranks, as Tiberian moved about them looking. Finally he addressed Martinez, who was wearing a pair of Bermuda shorts and a Hawaiian shirt. "Explanation Sergeant Major" Tiberian said crisply, more out of duty than because he was particularly bothered. "Well you see sir" Martinez began, seeing as how we're going planetside, me and some of the boys didn't think it really mattered what we wore, sir" Tiberian sighed and shook his head. "Well unfortunately it does, Sergeant Major" he turned to address the marines "Just because we are on leave doesn't mean we have to let our guard down. All of you not in uniform and kit will re-dress before proceeding to the surface. Those who had the good sense to wear uniform, you can go now. Dismissed" The company dismissed, some moaning as they pulled of varying amounts of clothing. Martinez stopped in front of Tiberian, giving hims a pleading look. Tiberian sighed. "Maybe in a few days Jose. Let the men know, ok" Martinez saluted as Tiberian left and headed for the transporter room. He entered finding Tallows leaning over his console, nursing either his hangover, or monetary loss from the night before. "One to beam to the surface" Tiberian called, just loud enough to make Tallows wince. The transporter took him, and moments later he was on the Bajoran surface.

Scene: Cmdr Matthew Quarters “James woke up at the words of the computer. "The time is 07.00. Your designated wake up time." He slowly raised himself up from the bed, and sighed. His sleep wasn't as restful as it had been when he first arrived to the station. “He stood, thinking of his daily plan, suddenly reminded of the fact that he had nothing to do except Start His Shore leave Down on Bajor. “That immediately led to the knowledge That he had to get moving He shook his head and entered his bathroom to freshen up. He took a sonic shower to clear the cobwebs in his head. And made extra sure his uniform fitted him to perfection. He looked at his reflection in the mirror, and nearly the thought "What is the point" floated through his head. Not having the patience, nor the will to go through his own morning ritual, he left his quarters to see if he couldn't find something, some sort of breakfast, in the Officer Mass . . Scene: Officer Mass “James smelled at the plate the waiter had just set on his table, and his mouth twitched. "I should have stayed with my old ritual." he mumbled, as he stabbed at the food on the plate with his fork. A traditional, English breakfast. Something different. “Now he began to remember why he hated eating hot food in the morning. While he was slowly letting the eggs find their appropriate place in his stomach he was observing the visitors, traders, and Starfleet personnel walking around . Thanking the waiter, he walked towards the Main bridge. Work was calling Matthew had complained many times to him about the paperwork, and Matthew was not looking forward to undergo the avalanche. He'd always been a man more of action... Scene: Main Bridge Doro, the science officer on duty turned to face the new arrival on the bridge. "I heard you already started your Shore leave on leave Sir." he added. Matthew walked towards OPS, and gave the bajoran a small smile. "Yes. I will be but first I had to clear up some paperwork on My Desk and check in any new personal coming on board " “Matthew nodded to Chapman, who was supervising the position of CIC.
[Transporter Room -A ]
“Transporter chief turned to his computer terminal and put the coordinates in are you ready to transport down commander ‘
“Cmdr Matthew ; yes and remember you don’t know where I am unless there a real bad Emergency “ Transporter Tech : right sir “

<In his Quarters>
Yahnie went ahead and went to his quarters. He saw that he had a communicate from his brother Steve Youngblood. Steve is a bit older than he is and the last he was on Deep Space 9 on vacation and Steve had told him there was trouble there and had to save Dr. Julian Bashir life during a conformation. Dr. Bashir was so grateful towards Steve he thought he would give him something he would like and share with his friends and family. Dr. Bashir had given Steve a program and told him that this wasn’t any program. Yahnie thought to himself that he can’t wait to try out this program. Yahnie got ready and went to Ten Forward to have a few drinks and to relax.
<Ten-Forward>
Lieutenant Youngblood was in Ten Forward and it was close to him going off duty. Yahnie saw the Captain talking to someone and thought he would go over to her and see if he could leave because it was close to being off duty. He went over to the Captain and said “excuse me Captain, May I have a word with you” The Captain nodded and walked over to where he could speak to her. Captain Cir'Kem If I may be excused, it’s time for me to get off duty and I need some R&R by myself if you don’t need me for the rest of the evening. I understand we will be going to Bajor if it is ok with you I have a holodeck program I would like to use while we are at Bajor. If it is ok with you I would like to stay aboard the ship.
<Tag Captain Cir’Kem>
<Holodeck2>
The program was called Entitled Bashir 62 , all his brother had to say was to try the program and you would know right off what I mean.Yahnie had some holodeck time saved up so he went to holodeck 2 to see what this program was about. Yahnie loaded the program in the holodeck 2 and the computer said “Enter when Ready.”

Planetside was just as Nack remembered it. The lush green forests continued on past the hills. Where a strip-mine had once ravaged the land, a lake was present, offering life-giving water for an abundance of animals and plants.
The cave systems were left over from the occupation; exploratory caverns looking for ores of different types. Converted from the life-sucking chambers they once were, they were now a system of luxurious baths.
"It's amazing what they have done to erase the pain of the occupation, Commander." the Ferengi said to Commander Matthew, making a point to say "Commander" at the conclusion of the sentence. Captain Wong approached on Nack's right, in awe of the fountains of spring water falling down a natural wall of rock.
"Mr. Wong - where's your sense of fun?" Tiberian looked confused. "Your uniform! This isn't a formal shore leave!" Everyone chuckled a bit. "Go change into something more comfortable!" Nack turned around and saw a few marines behind him smile. Apparently, they were amused by the Commander's decision as well.
"Where's Mr. Youngblood? I was sure I saw him getting dressed in traditional Bajor attire?" Nobody knew. Perhaps he beamed down to a different location. No matter, there was not much to worry about on Bajor, and cartography had mapped out a suitable location for the crew to stay within. Mr. Youngblood perhaps enjoyed city life more.
"Well - I don't know about you two, but I need to join the rest of these marines here and get into one of these spas."
Taking off his robe, Nack revealed that he was wearing a Starfleet issued swim shorts. Everyone tried not to stare, but it was hard to look away. The Ferengi, though strong for his race, was frail looking. With the large head attached to the top of the short, skinny body, it was a miracle the Ferengi made it through Starfleet training. Not many had seen a Ferengi without some sort of uniform. Nack didn't even noticed the spectacle he created.
Relaxing in a pool of warm water, an attendant came to Nack's aide.
"Maybe start on the top of the lobe and work your way down."

Tiberian was standing with the other senior officers, admiring a rock formation, when Commander Nack joined them. "Mr. Wong - where's your sense of fun?" Tiberian looked confused. "Your uniform! This isn't a formal shore leave!" Everyone chuckled a bit. "Go change into something more comfortable!" Tiberian saluted and did an about face, missing the smiles on his marines faces by a fraction of a second. He walked a short way away from the group, and tapped his comm badge. "Wong to Victory. One to beam back on board" The transporter beam engulfed him, and moments later he was stood before Chief Tallows again, who was smiling inanely at him. As he opened his mouth to speak, Tiberian stepped down off the pad and raised finger. "Please bear in mind, that I am a Major, and you are a Lieutenant Mr Tallows" Tallows must have obviously thought better about what he was going to say, as he simply let Tiberian go with a smile. Making his way quickly back to his quarters, he removed his uniform before opening his drawers to see what he had to choose from. He removed a black T-shirt, which read "Marines do it under heavy fire" in white bold letters, and lay it on his bed. He then removed matching camouflage combat trousers and shirt, a sudden smile coming over his face. This was probably the only time for a while when his men would get the chance to do some real land based exercises; ones that would not be interrupted by a holodeck short circuit. Once the crew had had a few days leave he would inform his marines of the opportunity, sure that at least a few of them would accept it. He might invite Mr Youngblood and some of his security staff as well, as well as Commander Nack, if he thought he could cope. The XO had formerly been a CMO, or so it said in his record which Tiberian had perused in good measure. Putting him through his paces might be fun. Tiberian mused on this as he dressed, finally securing the belt from his uniform around his waist. The belt held most of the standard accessories a marine always carried, including a tricorder, standard side phaser, a marine issue 12 inch knife, and his stun baton. Nack would probably remonstrate him for this, but he felt safe knowing he would never be short of equipment, should the worst happen. Even in the buckle of his belt was concealed a 1and1/2 inch knife, designed to be released at the touch of a concealed catch. Tiberian then turned to his wardrobe, opening it and retrieving his footlocker from inside. From this he removed a black beret, adorned by a golden cap badge, showing an eagle, globe and anchor. He set this at an appropriate angle on his head, and then added a pair of black sunglasses to his features. Finally he withdrew a silver cigar tube from his personal effects, and placed it in his left breast pocket, the cigar inside unsmoked. It was a bad habit an instructor on Earth had once taught him for during a fight, but Tiberian had kept true to it, and always had a cigar with him if he wanted to act tough. Anyway, the tobacco had been scanned and modified to remove any carcinogens. He stood, and decided to pack a travel bag so he didn't have to come back to the ship any time soon. He grabbed his shoulder bag, and neatly folded into it few full changes of all types of clothing, a stormproof overcoat, a flak jacket, a small med kit and water canteen, and finally a few books, just in case. Satisfied, Tiberian stood and made his way to the transporter room, beaming back to the surface. He must have drawn some odd looks from both the men and women alike, but Tiberian wasn't particularly bothered. Pulling up a small stem of long grass, Tiberian put it into the right corner of his mouth and began to chew, as he had seen 20th century marines do in some of the films he had watched. Entering the cave system, he walked to where marines and the XO were relaxing in the pool, with an attendant massaging Nack's ears. "I hope you cleaned behind your ears, sir" Tiberian joked as he set his bag down.

Lieutenant Youngblood entered holodeck 2 and to his amazement he saw a nightclub scene. Yahnie went to an empty table up to the front and he saw the entertainer that he with his parents in 1962. It was Vic Fontaine. Vic was singing a song called you’re nobody till somebody loves you
You're nobody till somebody loves you You're nobody till somebody cares You may be king You may posses the world and its gold But gold wont bring you happiness when you're growing old The world still is the same You'll never change it As sure as the stars shine above You're nobody till somebody loves you So find yourself somebody to love You're nobody till somebody loves you You're nobody till somebody cares You may be a king You may posses the all world and its gold But gold wont bring you happiness when you're getting old The world still is the same You'll never change it As sure as the stars shine above You're nobody, nobody till somebody loves you So find yourself somebody You got to get yourself somebody because you're nobody till somebody loves you You're nobody to somebody cares You may be a king You may posses big fat world and its gold But gold wont bring you happiness when you're going old The world's always the same, you'll never change it, change it As sure as the stars shine above You're nobody, nobody till somebody loves you So find yourself somebody, somebody to love
About the middle of the song a waitress came up to Yahnie and asked him what he wanted to drink. Yahnie thought to himself that if he was going to have R&R. He would like to spend it here. Yahnie ordered a screwdriver and was finishing listening to Vic’s song. His brother was right that this program was amazing. Vic walked over to Yahnie after he finished his song and tohis amazment Vic had realized he wasn’t aborard Deep Space 9. Yahnie spoked to Vic and Hi to him and Vic had some question’s for him. Yahnie listen to Vic as he spoke. “What’s your name Vic said?” My name is Yahnie Youngblood I am a Luietenant aboard the USS Victory. When my brother Steve was aboard deep space 9 he ended up saving Dr. Julian Bashir’s life. When he realized what Steve had done he was so grateful. He ended up telling Vic he was on another ship and not deep space 9. Yahnie thought to himself that he needs to share this progran with his other crew members. “Vic, Do you mind if I invite a couple of co-workers of mine? =/\= Lt. Youngblood to Capt. Cir'Kem =/\= would you like to join me on holodeck 2. You will be amazed. =/\= Youngblood to Major Wong would you come to holodeck2 you won’t regret it. Off:

The relaxing rub turned into a hurtful pinch. The pinch quickly turned into a throbbing pain as the Ferengi found himself under water.
Fighting to get up, he found his arms useless. The relaxing heat of the bath had loosened his muscles, which were clearly being overpowered by two... no four... hands. When he had finally given up, the hands let go. He lay limp in the pool, until a set of hands reached in and pulled him out.
Commander Matthew made an attempt to give mouth to mouth resuscitation, but Nack spit up water indicating he was breathing as the marine's mouth moved forward.
In a different situation, a squad of marines running half naked after spa personnel would be funny. The clear attack on the Victory's first officer, however, was not humorous.
Nack thanked Commander Matthew. "Can you please contact the Captain." Nack stood up, drying himself off. "I want to catch up with Tiberian. I can identify the person giving me the bath. I suspect he may want my help."
Commander Matthew indicated he would, but also insisted on coming with the rest.
Back on the ship, Mr. Shelby had finished repairing the damaged subsystems. Rather proud of his achievement, he hit is combadge, hoping to get into contact with Commander Nack. There was no reply. Instead of trying again, Jebadia Shelby went to the transporter room. He would beam down, enjoy the spas, and tell the Commander in person.

Tiberian had walked into a further part of the cave network, where a seating area had been provided, and a bar was in operation. Sitting himself down with a few marines, Tiberian ordered a round of soothing fruit juices. Some of the marines shifted momentarily in their seats, obviously having expected an alcoholic drink. Tiberian couldn't help but smile. "No booze, no fighting, no disciplinary action" Tiberian made it blatantly obvious why they were sticking with soft drinks. The drinks arrived and they settled down to enjoy them, the soft splashing of the water and the quiet chatter providing a most calming background noise. As Tiberian slowly sipped his drink, taking in the atmosphere, he suddenly heard a shout, a splash, and a cacophony of raised voices. Dropping his drink to the floor with a smash, Tiberian ran back through the passage he had previously walked through to the bath where he and the marines had left Nack. The marines behind him seemed to go infinitely slower: whilst he was wearing military issue boots, most of them were barefoot, not to mention half naked. Tiberian arrived to see two people holding the XO under the water, as he visibly struggled to get to the surface. Tiberian instinctively reached for his phaser, suddenly finding it to not be there. He then remembered he had left it at the table with his bag, having removed it to calibrate. Not even sparing the time to curse his stupidity, Tiberian ran to close range, pulling out his close quarters weapon. Had he been overly furious and sadistic, his knofe would now be in his hand, but he instead withdrew his stun baton, which he flicked out to be 16 inches from tip to tip. A press of a button, and the end crackled with blue electricity. Swinging it in a tradition stick fighting move, Tiberian fended the attackers away, making constant lunges to stun them with the charged end. But something strange was happening. Tiberian had been at the top of his class for hand-to-hand combat, with the baton and knife being some of the best in his repetoire, but these two male assailants parried and countered like true professionals, even using fighting styles that were normally taught only to military personnel. After a few moments of fighting one man ran, leaving the other to place a solind knee in Tiberian's stomach as he immobilised his baton arm. Going to the floor, winded, Tiberian made a half hearted final lunge, actually catching the second assailant on the thigh, delivering him a searing kiss with the tip of his baton. The charge was not enough to fully render him unconscious, but did manage to cause a temporary incapacitating numbing sensation. The man stumbled, and th first attacker ran back to help him out of the cave system. As he regained his feet, Tiberian contemplated giving chase, but then he saw Nack's lifeless body underwater. Pulling him from the pool, and throwing him to the floor with little to no ceremony, Tiberian knelt beside him, just as Commander Matthew arrived and made an attempt at CPR. Nack promptly spat up a good deal of water, preventing the Commander from giving him the kiss of life. Knowing that the XO was alive, and not caring about anything beyond that at the moment, Tiberian ran after the attackers. The marines who had followed him were close behind now, and looking at the two Commanders. "Marines, to me!" Tiberian yelled as he gave chase. Arriving outside, Tiberian saw two dots in the distance running past the tree line of a nearby forest. Coming up behind him, the marines arrived, one carrying his bag and phaser, followed shortly after by Commander Nack. Tiberian withdrew his tricorder, and began to scan after the two lifesigns, but a great deal of interference met his scans, offering the barest of rough indications. Folding up his tricorder, Tiberian took his bag and phaser before turning to address the XO. "Kelbonite deposits up and down the mountain are preventing scanning sir, so we can't transport or track them that way. If we want them, we'll have to do it on foot" He turned to Martinez, who had redonned his Hawaiian shirt and shorts. "Fall the men in Sergeant Major, shore leave is over. Get them up to the ship, and in uniform" He gestured to his outfit "I want combat fatigues for the recon detatchment, plus full pack and kit, phaser rifles, and any and all specialist gear they need. We're going after those men. Rest of the infantry can patrol the area, gather evidence, and set up an operational command post here. Get it done Sergeant Major" As Martinez ran about shouting orders, Tiberian turned to Nack. "Sir, if you want I can secure you gear and kit if you want to come with us. If not you can always stay here and direct the operation, sir"
<TAG Commander Nack>
"Yes Sir" Tiberian came to attention, in agreement with the XO's decision. Suddenly his comm badge activated. "Youngblood to Major Wong would you come to holodeck 2 you won’t regret it" If Tiberian could say anything about Youngblood, his comical timing was impecable. He touched his comm badge. "Major Wong to Lieutenant Youngblood. You're timing is on the money Lieutenant. I'm afraid R&R will have to wait. The XO's been attacked, and I need you and crack dozen or so security officers down here to help out"

Out of breath, Nack caught up with Tiberian, who was at an impasse, trying to decide which way to go. Their sensors weren't working through the rock - but perhaps the ship's sensors were stronger? "Commander Nack to Lieutenant Shelby"
<tag Shelby>
Can you access the sensors- since our ops officer is down here - and find our location
<tag Shelby>
"Great - now, what I need you to do, is see if there are 3... no 4." Nack scratched his head, trying to remember. The whole incident was fuzzy.
<tag Shelby>
"Mr. .. er.. Commander Matthew, can you beam back up and give him a hand?"
<tag Commander Matthew>
"Let the Captain know what's going on while you're up there. Maybe she will know why we are being attacked. I am too new here to have enemies! And tell Yahnie that we need some security forces down here."
Commander Matthew made a few comments into his comm-badge, and he dematerialized.
Tiberian wasn't about to wait for a sensor reading, and Nack sensed it. "How about splitting your group in half. I'll take one group one direction, you take yours in the other. When we get sensor readings, we can rejoin.
Wong seemed reluctant to give up half of his marines, but the idea was sound, and he had no basis for refusal. The teams were split rather quickly, leading Nack to believe that there must have been some sort of preparation for this kind of situation.

After granting shore leave to the crew, Nika decided that she should catch up on some overdue sleep. Then she had to catch up on some overdue paperwork. By the time she had finished that particular headache, she decided that she could seriously use a little shoreleave of her own.
At about that point Nika received an invitation from Lieutenant Youngblood to join him on one of the holodecks. She was contemplating the invitation—and trying to decide what Yahnie could want—when she received a far more urgent communiqué. It appeared that Nack had been nearly drowned, as Commander Matthew informed Nika, which was a far-from-pleasant turn of events. What remained to be seen, according to Matthew, was the who and the why of it.
Nika didn't have any clues on that front, save that perhaps sentiment on Bajor was strong enough that the simple fact that the Victory had come from Cardassia was enough to provoke violence. But that didn't seem right, from what little Nika had heard of events this had the taste of planning. If there was danger on the surface, Nika's duty lay in staying aboard the Victory, even when she felt she could do more, faster, from the surface itself.
So far shipside scans had proven ineffective, and Nika didn't feel that they should involve the Bajoran government right now. Which didn't leave a ton, although Nika did set up a scan around the mountains, to see if anyone left. It may or may not help, but Nika didn't see any point to overlooking the obvious.
“Lieutenant Youngblood,” Nika said, as the officer joined them on the bridge, “You can either join them with additional security personnel or you can coordinate from here and keep me posted.”
Nika didn't hear Youngblood's response right away, being struck instead by the sudden question of what was the motive for anyone to attack Commander Nack, and the sudden fear that it might be well-planned and aimed, not towards people, but toward the ship. Nika tried to dismiss the thought as overly paranoid and irrational. “Commander Matthew, can you review sensor logs for this area since we've arrived and see if you can't recreate what happened?” she asked.

Tiberian set about organising the distribution of the recon section between himself and Commander Nack, whilst the remainder of the marines were designated to remain behind and be taken charge of by Lieutenant Youngblood once he arrived. The twenty man marine recon section were the first to beam back down, all dressed in camouflage combat clothing, and each carrying both weapons and kit. Martinez approached Tiberian, wearing his own pack and weapons, whilst carrying an extra set in each hand. Tiberian, already dressed in his gear accepted the pack and phaser rifle with a word of thanks, before inspecting the second set of kit in Martinez's hands. "There was a bit of a problem with the fatigues" Martinez began to explain "Commander Nack is just shy of five feet, and the minimum height for the corps is..." "Just over five feet" Tiberian finished his sentence for him "So the uniform the quartermaster gave you..." "Is just a bit too long, in practically every department" it was Martinez's turn to finish Tiberian's sentence. "Come with me" Tiberian sighed and lead Martinez over to Nack. Had this been in no way connected to an attempt on the XO's life, Tiberian would probably have found this funny. He came to attention next to Nack and saluted. "I've got uniform and kit for you sir" Tiberian explained as he dumped a T-shirt, camouflage shirt and pants, socks, boots, a fifty pound backpack, kit belt, kevlar flak jacket and phaser rifle into the XO's arms, visibly seeing him strain somewhat under the weight "I should warn you that given your" he coughed "vertical situation sir, you may have to roll back some of the cuffs and ankles, sir" He pressed on before the XO could respond "I'm giving you Sergeant Major Martinez and his detatchment sir, and I shall take the other. If we spread out in a typical alpha search pattern, we'll cover more ground, whilst missing less. Once we catch up with them, we can stun them and bring them back to the Vic for questioning. I should warn you sir, that when I fought two of the attackers, they seemed to be professionals, possibly ex-military. I just thought I should warn you. If you would like to get changed, I'll brief the men, sir" Walking away from Nack, Tiberian muttered to Martinez. "Keep him alive Jose. If anything happens to him, I'm the one that has to face a court martial" Martinez smiled, and Tiberian continued as they apporached the men "Alright lads, listen up. We're going in in two detatchments, one under me, and the other under Commander Nack. Segeant Major Martinez and his detatchment will accompany Commander Nack, whilst Gunnery Sergeant Hightower and his section will accompany me. Be advised, we should consider these people to be trained, armed, and highly dangerous. We are unsure of numbers, weapons, or possible support, so keep cool, keep smart, keep safe. Dismissed" The marines borke off into their respective detatchments, with Gunnery Sergeant Hightower and his men approaching TIberian. Hightower was a black man, about six feet and fairly stocky, what you would expect for a man in his early forties. His hair was cut in traditional marine style, and he, along with the others had worn marine berets. He approached Tiberian and saluted, just as Tiberian finished sealing his flak jacket and hoisting his backpack on. "We're ready when you are Major" Hightower addressed him. "Thanks Gunny. It looks like rain" Tiberian's response came after a quick glance at the sky "Ponchoes men!" he called out, and all the marines began pulling their waterproof ponchoes over their heads as the black and grey storm clouds gathered overhead. Tiberian saw Nack approach, the misfitted uniform adding a small comic element to his appearance. TIberian called to him as his men fell in. "Keep in contact sir, and make sure the marines stick close to you" This was more for Nack's safety than for the marines needing orders. As Tiberian saw the first group of normally uniformed marines beam down to establish a base camp and perimeter, Tiberian lifted his rifle and proceeded into the woods, following the trail the two men had left. Just then, the first drops of rain began to fall.

Lt. Youngblood was in holodeck 2 when Major Wong called him to come down on planet Bajor. Vic had finished his song when the call came through. Yahnie went up to Vic and spoke to him. “I’m sorry Vic duty calls. As soon as time allows me I will be back.
=/\= Lt. Youngblood to Security Alpha Team meet me in transporter room 3 =/\= Yahnie headed to the transporter when he got a call from the Captain. “Lieutenant Youngblood,” Nika said, as the officer joined them on the bridge, “You can either join them with additional security personnel or you can coordinate from here and keep me posted.” “Ma’am I have a team ready to transport down and I plan to go down and help. I will keep you posted.” “If we need additional security beam down Beta team, they are on stand by. =/\= Youngblood out =/\=
<Tag Nikaila Cir'Kem>
=/\= Yahnie went to transporter room 3 and with 4 additional security officers. They all stepped on the transporter pad, Yahnie said to the transporter chief to lock on to Major Wong and energize.
Yahnie and his security detail beamed down to where Major Wong was located. Yahnie went to the Major and said “I have Alpha Team here and if we need more I have Beta team waiting for deployment. The Captain will give the order if needed. So Major can you update me and fill me in as to what has happened here.”

Still a little wet from the spa, Nack's skin was sticking to the marine fatigues that Captain Wong insisted he wear. He settled for rolling up the pant legs, and cut the arms off the shirt.
Nack's team was reaching what seemed like the end of the cavern, when a loud boom was heard.
"Everyone down!" the Lieutenant in front yelled. Nack immediately hit the floor, with another couple of marines diving on top of him, in an apparent attempt to protect him. When the dust cleared, Nack was allowed back up.
"I appreciate that, you two, but that was not necessary. I am capable of taking care of myself." The conversation was short lived, when they were clearly being fired on again. Tiberian's team, from behind, fired back this time.

Tiberian and his team had been trailing a short distance behind and to the right of Nack's section for almost twenty minutes by now. Having chosen to keep his men in a staggered line to minimise the effect of an ambush or booby trap, Tiberian was somewhere towards the head of the formation, with only one scout a short way ahead. Suddenly the scout stopped. Tiberian raised his fist, and then pushed his flattened palm downwards, gesturing to his men to stop and crouch. Proceeding to his scout in the crouched position, Tiberian levelled his phaser rifle, unsure what to expect. As he came up behind him, the scout indicated the ground to the left of him, where a small silver metallic device had been pressed and disguised by the base of a nearby tree. Tiberian and the scout moved forward to investigate it, noticing a constant red light on its surface. Withdrawing his tricorder carefully, Tiberian scanned the object, being careful not to interrupt the beam which was obviously being projected from the device. The device was revealed to be an anti-personnel explosive, seemingly similar to a Starfleet issue claymore, with metal balls embedded into the explosive core. Favouring to avoid it rather than conduct a risky controlled detonation, Tiberian gestured to his men to continue around to the left. As they proceeded cautiously on, a sudden flash and explosion occured ahead, leaving a plume of dark smoke billowing into the sky. A two second scan from his tricorder told Tiberian that it was in the vicinity of Nack's team, and levelling his rifle, he set of at the head of the column, leading them in a mad dash therough the woods and towards the site of the explosion. They had arrived in less than a minute, and were splitting up into moving fire teams, using the trees as shelter. Nack's team had seemingly walked through a cavern, and were pinned down in the rocks at it's entrance. A variety of fire was streaming at them, and now they had arrived, at Tiberian's team as well. "Suppression Fire!" Tiberian called out to his men, all of whom moved about in either cover or a crouched position, firing compression bursts into the undergrowth. As he fired two bursts, Tiberian called out to Hightower's fire team. "Gunny, Blue squad sweep forward, push them into Red and Green squads firing line" Hightower moved his men forward, sweeping round to the left flank of where the majority of the fire was coming from. This was actually difficult to gauge, given that the enemy fire kept relocating itself so rapidly that positions and numbers couldn't be determined. The variety of weapons that were being used also aroused suspicion, with Tiberian being able to identify Klingon, Romulan, Bajoran, and even what looked like Jem'Hadar weapons fire. His musings and random fire was interrupted by a communication from Hightower. "They've got us pinned down" he shouted "Two men hit, we can't move to see how badly because of the fire. There's a lot of them Major, we can't even determine weapons or numbers" "Hang tight Gunny" Tiberian replied as he fired of more phaser bursts "I'll get relief to you asap" His desire to call in Green team to assist Blue was suddenly overriden by a mechanical wirring that could be heard over the phaser fire, and from the current general direction of the enemy. He allowed the wirring to continue as his mind worked to remember where he had heard it before. A fraction of a second after the wirring stopped, it came to him in a moment of horrid realisation. "DECK!" He screamed, throwing himself, on top of the two nearest marines, sending all three of them face down in the mud behind a set of trees. All the other marines took similar action in the next second, throwing themselves behind trees and rocks, and with two marines leaping once again on top of Nack. Then the rapid and unceasing scream of automatic fire ripped through the treeline, tearing the leaves and bark from the trees, and sending it to the ground in showers of charred matter and sparks. A rapidly moving continuous burst of phaser pulses screeched overhead, as all the marines kept their heads down for cover. After nearly a full minute, Tiberian rolled onto his back, still staying as low to the floor as possible. He withdrew a photon grenade from his combat vest, and prepped it for a maximum yield detonation. Before he hit the switch though, a thought struck him. He had one fire team still out there, possibly close to where he would throw the grenade. He touched his communicator. "Wong to Hightower. Gunny I need you to send up a projectile flare so I can gauge your location" He chanced his arm (or more to the point his head) and rolled onto his belly, sticking his head slightly over a felled log to see the sky. A flare went up, almost twenty metres from the source of the automatic fire. Smiling, TIberina called out: "PG!" The abbreviation for the photon grenade would be known only to his marines, giving them and not the enemy a chance to cover themselves. Pressing the detonator switch, Tiberian held onto it for a moment. "One, two" He counted the first two of the three second detonation delay, and then flung the grenade towards the enemy. "Fire in the hole!" The grenade detonated with great force, tearing upa great deal of earth and wood, and silencing the automatic fire. Tiberian and the marines waited a few seconds after the detonation before emerging to stand and move slowly towards the enemy location. Hightower came on the communicator. "They've withdrawn sir, pretty fast too. I'm at their last location, no casualties, and no left equipment" Tiberian cursed, these people were far to professional and knowledgable for his liking. "Come on home Gunny. Bring in your wounded, the XO can care for them" The Gunny replied swiftly and then departed to care for his men. Tiberian called out. "OK boys, we'll set up camp here for the time being. Form up a little way into the cavern entrance for shut eye and rations. Red and Green teams, I want four two man roaming patrols, maximum treeline penetration of 15 metres, call in anything suspicious. The rest of you, fall out" He walked to the mouth of the cavern with the rest of his men, coming to attention and saluting Nack, who was trying to extracate himself from the two marines. "Sir, we've got wounded coming in. I could do with a doc, sir"

Sitting in the camp, Nack took care of some of the wounded. How quickly he reverted to his medical training when the opportunity presented itself. How quickly he sought to help, instead of bark orders. How quickly he missed working in the triage camps back... well - on Bajor. Back in time, yes, but not back in space.
"Marine Captain Wong," Nack saluted the lesser officer. Any differences he had with him were put aside in front of the other crew. "I believe we need to contact the Bajoran authorities here. This is probably a matter they will want to hear about."
Wong acknowledged - and nodded in Mr. Youngblood's direction. "Ah - yes, Mr. Youngblood. I didn't see that you decided to join us." As Nack walked over to the Lieutenant, he limped a little.
"An old knee injury." In reference to the limp. "It'll be OK. I want you to alert the authorities. They will no doubt want to send a security detail. Will you be willing to coordinate with them? Mr. Wong has things taken care of down here, I think, so see if you can't get them to stay out of the way. It might be hard - but I'm sure you are more than capable."
<Youngblood>
"Good - now that I have that taken care of- "
=/\= First Officer to Captain Cir'Kem =/\=
<Cir'Kem>
=/\= Long story, Captain. Can you send down a medical officer. I am fully capable, yes... actually did I tell you about the ti =/\=
Yahnie was still standing next to the First Officer, giving him a funny look.
=/\= ahh... where was I... oh, we could use a medical officer down here. I could use the extra help =/\=
<Isis>
=/\= And tell Matthew that we need sensor readings down here. We had no idea we ran into the end of a corridor down here, and were almost ambushed. Tell him he can come down here, or stay on-board. Just do something to boost the sensor input levels.=/\=
<Matthew>
=/\= Well, Captain, see if Mr. Shelby can modify the power grid to boost the power to the sensors. I remember him saying something about doing that when we were trying to see who ... er... what.. =/\= Nack tried not to look at Tiberian during the correction, =/\= ..sabotaged the holodeck. =/\=
<Shelby>
=/\= Thanks Captain. Nack out. =/\=
Nack spun around and turned to Tiberian. Half cocky, he said "And that's how you take charge."
Evening was looming, and the makeshift camp had already produced some fine replicated food, from which Nack was enjoying. Nack had a few worries, and he expressed them out loud to the Marine Captain while eating.
"I am worried. With all the different phaser types shot at us, it seems like we are dealing with some makeshift group or faction of some sort. I really don't know who, or why, though. Maybe the Bajoran authorities will help us out on this one after all. I would really like for you to try to use their help."
Tiberian looked offended.
"Now hold on - I'm not questioning your abilities. Sometimes I feel we need to step back and do some information gathering. This is one of those times. Plus, we are on Bajor - I don't want to create another possible diplomatic incident."
The last comment slipped out. It was a pure mistake, which reminded Tiberian of the way he was viewed by the Commander. Nack didn't apologize, it would do no good. The damage was done, and both just wished to forget it as the conversation grew awkwardly silent toward nightfall.OOC: I hope I clarified everyone's responsibilities now that this mini-mission has started picking up speed.

Nika was sitting tensely in her chair, mostly because it prevented her from pacing. =/\= First Officer to Captain Cir'Kem =/\=
=/\=Nika here. What's the situation down there?=/\=
=/\= Long story, Captain. Can you send down a medical officer. I am fully capable, yes... actually did I tell you about the ti...ahh... where was I... oh, we could use a medical officer down here. I could use the extra help =/\=
=/\=Understood. Medical officer, yes, confirmed. And I'll see what can be done about sensor output.=/\= Nika could have added in addition to what we're doing now, but she didn't need to be snippy, and it wouldn't have helped if she had said that.
They were supposed to get, or have already, a new Chief Medical Officer, but if she had come aboard it must not have been very long ago. After all, the CMO hadn't yet reported in. Nika asked whether or not the shuttle had arrived, and was informed that it was in the process of docking. =/\=Captain Cir'Kem to CMO. You don't have to bother coming up to the bridge just now, in fact your presence would be appreciated on the surface. There's been a slight...altercation, and a doctor seems to be necessary.=/\=
<Tag Isis>
Nika then rose from her chair, and walked over to the science console. She'd continue monitoring things on the surface, but there was no one else to effectively handle the science station at the moment. Nika's first position on the Victory had been in science, and she thought there was a possibility she could help with the sensors. Before she started anything, though, she advised Shelby and Matthew of the need to get the sensors working properly. She also expressed to Matthew Nack's request to get sensor readings going. Nika added, though, that if he could do equally from both locations she would prefer he stay on the Victory.
<Tag Matthew>
The she started her own efforts, as regarded the sensors.

Tiberian saluted quickly and turned away from Nack, proceeding to go and sit with his marines. He was beginning to remember why he didn't like the XO; and a dark wish was starting to form in his head that he had taken a wrong turning in the pool room, and had arrived just that fraction of a second too late to save Nack. He smiled as he shook this thought from his head, and sat down near Martinez and his usual section, some of whom had been accompanying Nack. Accepting the cup of coffee offered, he said. "Any of you jump on the XO earlier?" A few raised their hands "Someone give them something stronger to drink" A laugh went around, as a hip flask was produced as if from nowhere and passed round the group. When it reached Tiberian, he emptied a small quantity into his coffee and swirled it until the amber liquid was evenly distributed. A long draft of this warmed his insides and calmed him down. "Where's Belly?" Tiberian asked, as he craned his neck to look around the makeshift camp. The name Belly was not real, but the callsign of a corporal by the name of Orlando Johannsen. Six feet seven inches, and roughly fourteen stone, Johannsen was the largest man in the outfit, both in height and weight. His compatriots had chosen his callsign when he joined the unit, just as all the other enlisted men had done on their first assignments. Belly was unsurprisingly unoffended by the jibe; a calm and placid nature, coupled with a good sense of humour overriding the aura of his size. "Belly!" Gunny Hightower called out, summoning the hulk of a man from a further corner of the cavern. The corporal approached, saluted, and was seated a little way away from Tiberian. "Do me a favour Belly" Tiberian addressed him casually "You stay with the XO's unit, and if anything goes down, you be the one to protect him" A devilish grin came over Belly's face, quickly followed by the other marines, as they were all fairly certain on both their opinion of the XO, as well as what they could and would get away with. Tiberian finished his coffee, handing back the cup, and rising to his feet. He called out. "Night's coming in. I want everyone to get some shut eye, but be ready to move in case anything happens. Boots on, packs and weapons as close as. No fires, and I want all the gear packed and stowed in ten. Let's do it by the numbers people" Tiberian stalked off to the mouth of the cavern, followed closely by Martinez, whilst the other marines packed and stored their gear ready for the night. Tiberian looked out into the acres of woodland, as the rain slowly progressed from a light misting rain into a torrential downpour. The four two man squads were still patrolling in the vicinity of the treeline, and had been doing so for nearly an hour. He thought hard, trying to remember the most senior man in the patrols. "Wong to Corporal T'lar" he said "Corporal T'lar here, sir" came the reply "Alright corporal, listen up. You and your boys are in their for the next couple of hours. Pull back to a maximum treeline penetration of 10 metres, and call it in in about four hours time for relief. Soon as it gets dark use your night vision goggles, no flash lights, I don't want to give away our position. You see anything suspicious, shoot first ask questions later. Wong out" He closed the channel. "Jose" he turned his attention to Martinez "You lead the next watch patrol. Keep it tight, and put an extra two men sat just outside the cavern entrance, rifles and NVG's only. No lights" Most of his worry over not allowing fires and lights stemmed from the belief that the enemy would have anticipated them to move on from the cavern, and would thus prevent them from seeing them. Without workable tricorders or visual contact, the enemy probably would stay away for the night. As Tiberian walked back in to the cavern, he saw that the men had stowed gear and were bedding down for the night. He also saw that Youngblood and his team had returned more swiftly than he had expected, bringing a dozen or so Bajoran militia. He approached the officer in charge and saluted. "Major Wong, Federation Marine Corps" "Captain Dhaget, Bajoran militia assigned to this province" he returned Wong's salute. "Glad you're with us Captain. I'll let you liase with Lieutenant Youngblood here, seeing as how he's the one that fetched you. We're hanging fire on the pursuit until morning, so you and your men can rest for the night. I'd offer you food and drink, but the travel replicator has been packed up for the evening. Unless you want ravel rations?" The Captain politely declined, and given that he knew what combat rations were like, Tiberian didn't hold it against him "I'll brief you fully in the morning, but until then I leave you in Mr Youngblood's capable hands"
<TAG Lieutenant Youngblood>
He saluted both Dhaget and Youngblood and turned to see to his own pack and bedding. He lay down next to Nack, who was surrounded by a group of six or so marines, and pulled his poncho around him as he spread his blanket on the floor to lay on. He used his pack as a hard pillow, and clutched onto his phaser rifle like a teddy bear. He turned to face Nack. "Sorry about the cold and dark sir, but it's for tactical reasons. Anyway" He made himself comfortable, whilst checking the rifle he cuddled was on safety "You're in the Federation Marine Corps now" he rolled over on his other side to face the wall. "Lights out!" he called, and at that moment the few portable lamps cut out, plunging the cave into darkness, and the marines into sleep.

“Could this be a personal attack cmdr Nack the Ferengi or where they trying to kill the first officer of a federation starship”
Nika had been assuming worst-case scenario, which would be that whoever was attacking Nack was doing so because he was the first officer of a Federation ship. But Nika supposed that didn't have to be the case, and she felt very bad for not having seen that before. “Thank you, Commander, for pointing that out.”
"Captain one of my jobs as The ship 2nd officer is to Bring up theses Questions ’ I would advise that Cmdr Nack return back to the ship for his on safety until we find out just what going on They may try to kill him again.
Nika didn't think Nack would take too kindly to that suggestion. That wouldn't bother Nika, if that was the only obstacle, she could simply order him to return to the ship. Come to think of it, Nika didn't know why she hadn't heard back anything recently from the away team. So long as Commander Matthew's sensor scans could be confirmed, there didn't seem to be any point in having a searching party out, when Nack's attackers had already disappeared into the city.
=/\=Nika to Nack.=/\= There was a slight pause, before Nika thought she heard a bleary reply, so she continued. =/\=Do you see any advantage to remaining on the surface? I believe it might be best to return to the ship for now, as the track of your attackers has already been lost.=/\=

Nack awoke in the camp, from his deep sleep, and gave a bleary reply to the communique.
=/\= Commander Nack here, Captain. What do you need? =/\=
Asking for an update, one that Nack had forgotten to give before nightfall, Captain Cir'Kem was curious as to the progress and condition of the planet-side crew members. She asked Nack if he thought it would be better for him to return to the ship, but Nack politely refused- for two reasons, of which he would later justify while looking back. Reason one, Nack did not fully trust leaving Marine Captain Wong in charge of the away mission. Reason two, and probably the more important reason, is that Nack had a feeling he knew who his attacker was. He kept the speculation to himself, however, as to not alarm the Captain and her crew.
=/\= We'll be fine. We could really use a medic down here. If our new chief doctor doesn't arrive soon, send us someone else. =/\=
Apparently, from what the Captain was saying, Lt. Shelby was also having problems of his own. He was currently in a race to quarantine the holodeck anomalies that were cascading throughout the system. Every time one system would be quarantined, a new system would get overloaded. Nika told Nack all of this to let him know that they had their own problems to work on, and Mr. Shelby would get to the power grid amplification as soon as possible.
=/\= Sounds good, Captain. Nack out. =/\=
Nack turned over to go back to sleep, when one of the Bajorans yelled out from the edge of camp. Someone was approaching, and from the sound of fist to fist fighting, it didn't sound friendly. Captain Wong and Lieutenant Youngblood jumped out of bed almost as quickly as Nack had, and were already making their way to the front.
"Don't Fire a shot!," Nack yelled. "They don't have phasers."
The two looked at their Commander in disbelief. How could he know that?
Nack, of course, knew from the lack for firepower, that his guess had most likely been correct. He did know who was doing this, and he walked to where he could hear the suspects squirming from the restraints the Bajorans had attached to them.

Nika had prodded Nack, to see if he would be willing to return to the ship. She had actually intended to ask if it would not be better if everyone returned to the ship, but she may not have made that clear enough. Either way, Nack refused, for no reasons Nika could see.
And he kept asking for a medic, but Nika didn't know where the new CMO had gotten to. Oh well, if and when the CMO arrived Nika could send her down in addition to the medic. =/\=Cir'Kem to sickbay, please send someone down to the surface ASAP.=/\=
=/\=Yes sir.=/\=
Nika nodded at the acknowledgment. =/\=It could be that they'll need more than one medic, but I don't know.=/\=
=/\=Understood. I'll send down a nurse, but send more if he needs help.=/\=
=/\=Excellent=/\= Nika replied.
<Tag Nack>
Nika didn't honestly see why Nack and the other officers wouldn't come back up to the ship, but then she didn't know all that much about the situation. However, given the fact that she had asked for an update of status and hadn't really learned anything new from Nack's reply, she wasn't sure what more she could be doing to encourage a response. Apart from going down there herself, and she put enough value on gathering information first-hand for the idea to be tempting. But she knew she couldn't. Even if she didn't necessarily agree with that Starfleet regulation so much, she could still follow it. For now.
Nika glanced around the bridge, trying to see if there was anyone she could send down instead of herself, but everyone who was still on the bridge was vitally needed. “See if you can use the scanners to monitor everyone's life signs,” Nika ordered Commander Matthew. If she couldn't be on the surface she'd do her best from the Victory.

At the sound of noise, Tiberian was up with a start. He was on his feet, rifle aimed and ready in seconds of the noise, with Youngblood beside him behaving in much the same fashion. As they raced for the entrance, Nack called out behind them. "Don't Fire a shot! They don't have phasers." Youngblood turned back to look at Nack for a moment, and Tiberian nearly crashed into him as one foot raced for the door, whilst the other grounded him to turn on Nack. "Stun setting only" Tiberian countermanded, just to be on the safe side as he hurried onto the entrance. Surprisingly, Nack had been right. Both of the men being held were completely unarmed, and currently being restrained by three Bajoran militiamen. "Lights up" Tiberian called back into the cavern, causing half a dozen portable lamps to be activated, bathing the cavern in light. Both of the intruders were Bajorans, young men not older than their late teens or early twenties. He gestured to the Bajorans to wrestle their countrymen back into the cavern, and gestured to the two marines outside the cavern to remain on watch. Checking his chronometer, Tiberian saw the time to be nearly 04:00, and so touched his comm badge. "Wong to Martinez. OK Sergeant Major bring your boys in, we've had some visitors, and you'll probably be more use here anyways" "Coming in now sir" came Martinez's reply "I don't suppose you'll put on some hot coffee and towels for us by the time we get back" he added. "Should I fetch you your slippers as well" Tiberian answered in a mocking tone. Jose laughed and siged off, leaving Tiberian a few minutes to check the prisoners over before the remainder of the marines arrived. By now the Bajorans had handed over the two intruders two Belly and another burly marine, both of whom were handling the scrawny youths with ease. "Check 'em over Gunny" Tiberian gestured from Hightower to the prisoners with his rifle. Hightower slung his rifle and withdrew his tricorder, approaching the pair and conducting a quick scan. "Run of the mill home grown Bajorans" Hightower concluded, folding up his tricorder. One of the Bajorans growled at this and spat in Hightower's face. Before anyone else could react, Tiberian had advanced nearly five paces in one second, and, with a firm right cross, planted the Bajoran on his back. As Belly heaved him to his feet, and with blood trickling from the corner of his mouth, the Bajoran hissed. "Get off my world" Tiberian slung his rifle now, and withdrew his stun baton, flicking it out to its full 16 inch length. "You sneaked into a Federation Marine camp, assaulted a Federation Marine Senior NCO, probably are involved in attempting to murder a Starfleet Commander, and you are trying to threaten me!" As Tiberian began to advance menacingly, his marines following suit, he suddenly found heard a loud voice. "THAT WILL DO MAJOR" It was Nack, who was now, quite successfully, shoving roughly past Tiberian. Tiberian was more than a full foot taller than the XO, and so looked down on the Ferengi, whose eyes at his chest level were forced to turn upwards "I know this planet, you do not. I will conduct the interview, you will secure the cavern entrance" Tiberian knew a rebuke and an order when he heard one, and so with a snap to attention and a swift about face, he turned with some of his men to the entrance to await the return of Martinez and his section. Meanwhile, Nack, Youngblood, the Bahoran militia and a handful of marines began interrogating the prisoners.

Well Captain Dhaget we must make our selves comfortable and get some rest we may have our hands full in the morning. Yahnie found a comfortable spot and lay down on the ground. As soon as Yahnie lay down he fell asleep. Moments later sounds of a fist fight woke Lieutenant Youngblood and jumped up as soon as he heard the fight. Lt. Youngblood and Major Wong drew their phasers. As soon as they did Commander Nack yelled out to hold our fire. Yahnie and Major Wong looked at him with a puzzled look on their face. Yahnie had his phaser already set to stun as they race to the entrance of the cavern as they got there Yahnie was surprised that the Commander was right. Yahnie and his security team were right behind him and saw that the Bajoran militia had caught two young Bajorans that can’t be more than 20 years old. Yahnie had sent the other two security officers Reed and Malloy to the entrance of the cavern. Reed and Malloy went to the entrance with the other marines. The Lt. went over with his Commander and stood by him as he started the interrogation of the prisoners. “Ok now,” as the Commander started the interrogation. He spoke to both Bajoran’s. Answer the question that Major Wong said to you.” “You sneaked into a Federation Marine camp, assaulted a Federation Marine Senior NCO, and probably involved in attempting to murder a Starfleet Commander.”
