"Debris!??" Nack had to ask, at least 3 times, before Commander Matthew interpreted the question correctly and answered. It wasn't Matthew's fault, really. He wasn't used to the nuances of Nack's command; didn't really know the style. Nack, being insensitive to other crew's emotions (quite strange for a XO, at that) wrote it off as incompetence, even though Commander Matthew was far from it.
"Where's the Romulan Warbird?"
Commander Matthew replied, "Traveling warp 4, right behind us."
Nack looked over at the controls. The console clocked the Victory at Warp 4 as well.
"Let me know if they start gaining on us."
As Nack gave the order, Captain Cir'Kem, the Romulan, and the new counselor walked onto the bridge, clearly done with their meeting.
Nack tried to grab the attention of Davis- to talk to him about what he may have heard. The Ferengi, although interested in his ship's happenings, also had a gossip problem. He really really really needed to know what was going on around him at all times. It was in his nature. Knowledge is power, power is money, mone... well, you know how it goes for a Ferengi.
The counselor had not seen Nack's over-obvious concealed motion for attention, and the Ferengi gave up his pursuit.

ROMULAN WARBIRD Ael'Maec
The romulan Xo is wondering why the federation vessel took off with Admiral Rolandin at warp 4. He had given the order to follow the federation vessel. Then a sub lieutenant "sir command is wondering why we havent destroyed the federation vessel." " Declaok raise shields and open fire on the federation vessel."
The romulan warbird opens fire on the federation vessel.

Russell watched as the Romulan admiral and the captain, it was quite interesting to him watching the two argue over destroying the Romulan ship, though the normal way would have been the other way round. The Romulan was hiding something, but he could not think of what.
As the discussion came to an end the captain suggested they go on the bridge, which Russell was happy to go anywhere. As they stepped onto the bridge he noticed Commander Nack’s blatant attempts to catch his attention but with the Romulan on the bridge he would rather spend his time watching him. Then as the ship got hit, he watched as the Romulan showed he expected this, which he had pretty much heard in the briefing room.
EDIT: sorry guys this is russell davis, i forgot to change profiles lol

Long-range communications were still down, despite Commander Matthew's attempts to divert power to get them running again. And short-range communications wouldn't do any good unless other Federation ships were close by. And neither of them had been located by Victory sensors yet. In short, the Victory was backed into a corner, but she had teeth to show.
“Return fire,” Nika ordered Lieutenant Youngblood, then, to the Navigations Officer, who was already doing as much as he could, “Evade.”
“Yes sir,” Lieutenant Girade calmly replied, though he didn't do anything to change his actions, as he couldn't evade the Romulan ship anymore than he already was.
Nika glanced up at the Romulan who was hovering near her shoulder. “What are the weak spots on you ship?” Nika asked. Since he was the one who had suggested she destroy his ship, the least he could do would be helpful. “Also, the best way to disable weapons without destroying it?”

Just making sure. Nack agreed with the Captain's orders in the first place, however, it was his job to bring up secondary viewpoints... just in case the Captain hadn't weighed all the options. In this case, it appeared she had.
Davis was still ignoring his first officer. 'He must still be gathering information'. Nack only hoped. It would be unfortunate to have to teach the new counselor proper reporting procedures. 'Doesn't Starfleet ever send anyone who isn't so insubordinate?' Of course, the line of thought was completely out of line... but Nack, being Nack, let his mind wonder through the 'what ifs'.
"I'll get down to ... Engineering" Nack told the captain, pausing in the middle of his sentence for the audible red alert signal to emit before continuing. There were a lot of Romulans on board, it occurred to Nack, and the corridor outside of main engineering was where a good deal of them were convened. It was definitely a security risk, as well as a personnel risk. The lack of a Chief Engineer at the moment, due to the Section 47 officer rotation program started a few years back, left the engineering team with only a temporary leader - one whom showed promise, but had little experience. With the ship being damaged, and so quickly, he undoubtedly needed both security and leadership.
=/\= Commander... =/\= Nack forgot his name.
=/\= Nack to engineering =/\= A response came through, but it was too desperate to warrant a formalities. Nack cued the turbo-lift to take him to engineering's level.
=/\= I'm bringing security down to main engineering. Ops tells me you are having a bit of trouble.=/\= The message was acknowledged.
The turbo-lift halted, and Nack re-hit his combadge.
=/\= Commander Nack to Lieutenant Youngblood. =/\=
<Yahnie>
=/\= Can you send someone down to main engineering. We may need some help down here holding back the masses of refugees. I can only guess that they are a bit frightened. If you feel it is necessary to come yourself, do so. Otherwise, remain on the bridge and help with the tactical situation at hand =/\=
Nack closed the communique and made a beeline for the engineering door. The warp drive was visible offline. The Ferengi was a doctor by training, but the relative darkness of the ship was a giveaway to everyone.
Nack called out, "is everyone all right?"

“The dull pain in his head was already waking him up before his comm. badge began to sound.
<Sickbay to Dr. Kapoor . Sickbay to Dr. Kapoor . Are you there, doctor?
"Damn..." *slap* ".... Kapoor here...." *groaaaan*
“We have a couple of traumas coming in, ETA five minutes, said the vaguely familiar male voice at the other end, <and you're currently the only Experiences trauma Surgeon on board.”
"WHAT" he was awake now. he threw the blanket off and began taking off his pajamas. "Never mind! I'll be there. Kapoor out."
“His mind raced as he washed and dried his face quickly, then pulled on the uniform he had on the day before -- no time to fuss about it. It must be serious, he thought; anything
“non-urgent and it would have gone to Beta's infirmary. Slapping on his comm. badge with one hand,, As he rushed out of his quarters toward the nearest turbo lift.
“As Dr. Kapoor ran into Sickbay, he was greeted by nurses and a medical Technicians. A couple of the nurses with familiar faces greeted him. Lieutenant junior grade Amelia Dar held out Dr. Kapoor’s lab coat as Lieutenant Alyssa Figurate stood by with a PADD and a medical tricorder.
"Hi, Alyssa, thanks, Amelia," he said, as he put the coat on. he turned to the male nurse. "ETA?"
"Any time," Figurate replied.
"Amelia," he said, "do me a favor... get me a detox kit."
“Dar's eyes opened wide for a split second before she rushed off to grab a detox kit. Kapoor turned back to Figurate. ‘just how did this happen ?"
"Romulain Heavy Phaser Blast Down on deck 12 in one of the cargo bays," she said, handing him the PADD and medical tricorder. "Someone got grazed by a falling cargo caddy with parts for Engineering, and the guy who tried to rescue him got hit by it...."
“Dr. Kapoor winced... and his hangover headache was only a part of it. Engineering parts were usually very heavy. "Blunt trauma. Okay."
“Amelia returned with the detox kit, and he quickly pulled out the hypo, checked the dosage, and administered the medication as Dr. Kapoor looked through the PADD.

Nika nodded at Rolandin. She gave the Romulan the access to the console he said he needed. She didn't do so lightly, she assigned an engineering officer to track what he was doing remotely, while she watched over his shoulder. She knew that giving him access was a security risk, but she was doing her best to minimize it.
Rolandin didn't try anything, and he was able to cut through the interference to allow the Victory's long-range communications to become functional again. “Contact the USS Acadia” she ordered, and the other ship's captain appeared on the screen. “Captain Parith, I'm Captain Cir'Kem, of the Victory.”
“Yes?”
“We've just gotten our long-range communications working, but we're close to Karitie III. We've been attacked by a Romulan ship. Their weapons are down, but only temporarily, and we could use your help,” Nika explained.
“Of course. We're a little off our planned course—there was a slight anomaly that Science wanted to investigate—but we'll be there within the half-hour.”
“Thank you, Captain,” Nika said, and closed the channel, to hear from Lieutenant Youngblood that the long-range sensors were up again and so the debris could be scanned.
Commander Matthew explained what had been found: uranium & boridum. “Can you date how recently the ship was destroyed, based on how much it's drifted?” Nika asked, at the same time trying to see Rolandin's reaction. Nika felt like there wasn't terribly much she could be doing now, apart from hoping that the crew of the Ael'Maec weren't more efficient than their Captain thought they were.
Nika turned to Ensign Russell. “Would you rather talk with some refugees or stay on the bridge?” she asked him, thinking that she would give him the option to not stand on the bridge. If he wanted to go talk to refugees she figured she could put him to work collecting names from the Romulans and asking them whether they had a desire to the Romulan empire. But if he wanted to stay on the bridge she could put him to work up here too.

Scene ,Main Sickbay
"As the doors opened up and two gurneys came through. One held a human male with a misshapen foot, groaning in pain, but otherwise an non-emergent case. The other accident victim looked much more serious.
“The cross-trained medic in a mustard uniform who accompanied them looked a little panicked. Dr. Kapoor put one hand on his shoulder even as he opened the tricorder with a flip of the wrist of the other hand.
"Take a deep breath."
“The young man tried once, then managed to follow his direction. Dr. Kapoor took the diagnostic wand and began the initial examination of the seriously injured victim, with Figurate triaging the less serious-looking case.
"Good," he said, watching the medic out of the corner of his eye as he began reading his vitals. "What happened?"
"A cargo caddy headed to Engineering fell off an overloaded gravcart," said the medic, looking at the victim anxiously. "Mosey there was about to get hit with it when this guy pushed him out of the way... and got pinned instead."
"Mild concussion," Figurate said, finishing his patient's examination, "and a heavy ankle sprain. Nothing serious on this end."
“Dr. Kapoor watched the tricorder spit out numbers: BP 88/44, respiration 34, pulse 131... and it was steady.
"Ribs four, five of the right side and five, six on the left side are fractured... pneumothorax...."
Then her eyes went wide. The tricorder closed violently.
"Sweet Jesus, the guy's a Trill! Redline to surgery -- OR One!" Immediately the gurney started moving in that direction. A Trill -- that complicated matters. There were now two lives to save, instead of one. "Ameli, type and cross eight units and begin infusion immediately."
With a nod, the nurse was gone, on the way assembling a couple of medical technicians to set up the "clamshell" -- the surgical support frame -- in the operating room.
“The sole doctor in the room looked around quickly, and located two nurse-like people, one male, one female. "You, and you... you're with Alyssa. And..." he continued, as he started walking toward the OR, and found another two nurses running up to him. "You two are with me."
“The first two nurses followed Figurate, who carried his patient to the nearest bio bed; the latter two nurses trotted after Dr. Kapoor into the operating room.
The patient lay on the bio bed under the clamshell, and Dar stood next to it, masked, gloved and ready to get Dr. Kapoor suited. he stepped into the OR scrubs as he read the status on the side.
"Vitals?"
"BP 88 over 44, respiration 34, pulse 131, no changes," replied the nurse, as she tied the scrubs behind the doctor. "Blood infusion has been started."
The two nurses finished getting into their surgical gowns and mask. Dr. Kapoor looked at the Vulcan male nurse. "Name?"
"Sarak."
"Sarak, IV Ringer's Lactate infuser at 100 cc per hour. And you?" he turned to the female nurse.
"Ashley McKinley," said the young blonde.
"Ashley, O-2 by mask, please. O2 sat?" he asked, tapping the clamshell into administering general anesthesia.
"82 percent," came Amelia’s immediate reply, as she pulled over the surgical instruments with its control panel.
"Laser scalpel," Dr. Kapoor put out his hand, and the instrument was in his hand. "What's the reading on the symbiont?"
Amelia read off the screen as put her hands into the surgical entry on the clamshell. "Life signs are weak but stable... naephine gland secretions read 32, but are going down."
"Serak, lonaephixine, 5 micrograms per hour... and keep an eye on the fluid infusion," Dr. Kapoor instructed. The male nurse immediately began administering the needed hormone. "Ashley, how's the oxygen?"
"M-mask secured, doctor," he replied, a little nervously. "O2 saturation now at 86 percent."
"Rising?" Dr. Kapoor squinted at the surgical incision line indicated by the support frame. he poised the laser scalpel over the position.
"Yes, rising," Ashley replied quickly.
"Very well. The anesthesia level is sufficient... I'm beginning incision into the anterior plane. Ready suction, and I need a vitals reading every minute."
A soft chorus of 'yes, doctor,' and slowly, the two hands under the clamshell turned on the laser scalpel and began cutting open the Trill's chest. The red line moved slowly and with smooth deliberation.
Once incised, force fields held the opening, bio filters were turned on, and suction began.
"Lungs punctured... here... and here. Right then... suture."
Amelia tapped a setting on the instruments control panel, switching the scalpel to the correct setting. "Reset to suture."
"Thank you." Dr. Kapoor kept his eyes on the punctured lung, and carefully traced the holes, slowly closing them with the suture instrument.
"BP 90 over 50, rising slowly," Ashley volunteered, "pulse 120, respiration 30."
"Very good," Dr. Kapoor acknowledged. "Lung punctures closed. Next..." his eyes moved to the panel in front of him. "Naephine gland. Computer, compare to baseline readings."
[Secretions 73% of normal,] the computer responded, [current administration of lonaephixine supplementing to 98%.]
"Damn," he muttered, "I can stabilize this for a while... up to two weeks, maybe, with nanotechnological administration of lonaephixine, but he's going to need a transplant."
"Ready stasis unit, doctor?" asked Amelia.
"Put the team on standby," Dr. Kapoor replied. "Computer, patch my comm. badge to ship communications. Dr. Kapoor to Figurate."
<Figurate here, came the response.
"Alyssa, who's the nanotechnologist on staff?"
“He hasn't reported, came the apologetic reply, <but... a moment... there's a LT, Moreland in Sciences who on board now -- she's done some work with nanotechnology and neural networks.>
"Thanks. Dr. Kapoor out. Computer, where is Lieutenant Moreland?"
COMPUTER VOICE-[Lieutenant Elizabeth Moreland is in her quarters.]
"Dr. Kapoor to Moreland."
One second... two seconds.... <Moreland, here,> came the sleepy reply. <Who is this?>
"Dr., Kapoor CMO," Dr. Kapoor replied quickly. "Apologies for the early hour, Lieutenant but we need your assistance in Sickbay, stat. Trauma case."
<On my way, doctor. Moreland out.>

Scene: Sickbay, Operating Room One
“Elizabeth Moreland had arrived, breathless, about five minutes before. Amelia had gowned, masked, and gloved her immediately, and Dr. Kapoor had given her the rundown.
“With a nod, the neurologist had began the replication of the necessary nanotechnology, and had made quick work of setting up a temporary mechanism for administering the hormone currently undersupplied by the patient's own gland.
"This does it," Moreland nodded, "for a seat-of-my-pants design, this is pretty good." She looked up at Dr. Kapoor. "This will administer lonaephixine at 50 micrograms per day for fourteen days. He'll need a reinsertion at that point... we could do this for a while, but the transplant would solve this."
"We'll have to put him off the active duty list," Dr. Kapoor said. "Computer, identify patient currently on the bio bed."
[Reading DNA pattern... matching... matching... match found. Lieutenant Carlo Rosa, Operations Officer, USS VICTORY-C.
Moreland sighed, and Dr. Kapoor groaned.
MD 5.0942 Scene: Captain's Ready Room
"... and that's about it, sir. Lieutenant . Razz will have to be sent back to the Trill home world to await a naephinoid gland transplant. at the end of this mission "
"He will survive?" asked Captain Cir‘kem, leaning back into her chair.
"Definitely," nodded .Dr. Kapoor "With a successful transplant, his prognosis is excellent. The current therapy can be continued indefinitely until the transplant comes through... but we're not certain what the long-term side effects of this therapy are, as this has never been tried as a long-term solution."
The captain nod in turn. "An unfortunate business," she said, then with a huff of breath, continued. "Unfortunate for you, as well. Your Department is still short of two physician, are we not?"
"Yes, captain," he replied. "I have two experienced compatriots with me -- Dr. Nortek in surgery, and Dr. Kelsey in emergency medicine. I have xenopathology and xenovirology covered, so I'd like to have a specialist in forensics and toxicology... but," he added with a touch of a rueful smile, "I know we can't always have what we want."
"I'll forward your request to 1st fleet personal, doctor," the Captain nodded. "I'd not put your hopes up, however. With the front opening up on several sides...."
"Understood, captain." Dr. Kapoor stood from his seat. "I'll have a formal write up as well as a departmental status report for Commander Matthew as soon as I can . Is that acceptable?"
"I await them, Dr. Kapoor," he nodded. "Was there anything else you needed to address immediately?"
"No, I don't think so, sir," he said.
"Very well. Thank you, doctor. Dismissed."

Dr. Kapoor probably had his hands full in Engineering as Nack did basic triage with the medical officer that arrived. The transporters were locked out with the lack of a warp drive, but an engineering Ensign had just turned them back online.
Romulans were peering into main engineering, as a door had become jarred open. There was nothing too secretive about the Victory's main engineering, but all the same, it was probably not a good idea to have these refugees checking things out.
=/\= Nack to Youngblood. Where is our security team?=/\=
<Youngblood>
Commander Nack moved to a new victim of the sudden flux of tachyons emission. The warp coils had since been realigned, and the particles stopped emitting... however, the warp drive was yet to be fixed. Nack was trying to shout orders to Engineering while at the same time, trying to save some officers' lives.
=/\= Computer, two to beam to sickbay =/\= Nack said into his combadge.
There was a loud crashing sound behind him, but he didn't have time to turn around. He prepared the two officers for their transport.
As the two officers dematerialized, Nack looked up for the next patient. As he did so, he was smacked on the back of his head. As he fell unconscious, he heard the nurse with him shout out "Emergency Beam out." He saw swirling colors, and fell unconscious.

Russell was happy to accept the captains offer to get off the bridge, after she handed him a Padd to record the details of their Romulan guests. Walking off of the bridge he made his way to one of the cargo bays that the Romulan colonist had taken over, as he entered he truly realised how many people he had to talk to and began to regret the decision to get off the bridge. Russell moved over to the first woman near him and began his work.
He was getting on well with his task walking from person to person collecting their names and if they wished to return to Romulus. He became aware of a group of young men following him as he worked, assuming they were just worried what he was asking he ignored it. “Thanks ma’am” he spoke to the woman he had been talking to then moved to one of the older children “hello, can you tell me you na …” at this moment everything went black and Russell fell unconcious.

Location: Main USS VICTORY,
“Cmdr Matthew sat at his console on the bridge, waiting to see what was going to happen next. It appeared that the ships was standing down for Now it was obvious that there was not going to be any immediate shooting. For now
“Captain I would like to take A closer look at that Debris while I can maybe I can find something that can help’
“Captain Cir’kem ‘go A head Commander But Be ready to man your station at anytime once that Romulain warbird get her system back online we will have our hands full ‘
“Matthew start heading for the turbo lift doors then stop and turn around Lt, Cmdr Youngblood would you like to join me in cargo bay #3 “
‘Lt, Cmdr Youngblood Why not I don’t have anything to shoot at right now ‘
“As the doors close Matthew and maybe we can Rub some dirt on those new Lt, Commander pips to Duded the Glair for those things are blinding “
“Captain Cir’Kem Smiled “
Scene: Cargo Bay 3
[2 minutes later ]
“Cmdr Matthew along with newly promoted Lt, Cmdr Youngblood walked into the Cargo Bay and They where greeted instantaneously by three security officers, as they walked through the large doors of the cargo bay. Cmdr Matthew could see the Security team getting ready to receive the small bits of debris to investigate.
“Cmdr Matthew was looking for a someone to help take point on the investigation. Ensign Corbin had just Transferred from the science department to The operation Department and Matthew liked the Young Ensign because he reminded him of him self when he was a young Ensign Nobody .
"Ensign Corbin, I want you to go over the debris in a delta search pattern and look for anything out of the ordinary. "Matthew said
"Aye Sir" was the only response from Corbin
“James grabbed a engineer's kit from one of the other security staffers. As he turned back around Matthew thumbed his comm. badge.
"Cmdr Matthew to Transporter Room 2" he said.
[Transporter Room 2 here] came a reply from Matthew 's comm. badge.
"Lock onto some of the scattered debris and beam it to Cargo Bay 3"Matthew said into his badge. After a brief few seconds what was once empty space on the deck was now occupied by pieces of debris that had been floating outside the ship for what seemed by all visual accounts long time. There were all sorts of burns and undistinguishable marks on all the debris.
"Alright people let's get to work "Matthew said as he opened his engineer's kit.
“Cmdr Matthew pulled out his tricorder and made a few sweeps of the debris in font of him. Unfortunately the sweep of the tricorder uncovered nothing. Lt, Cmdr Youngblood pulled out some more diagnostic tools from the kit and Started Scanning some of the debris .
After hours of the team going over every bit piece of tricorder data and visual analysis it seemed like ‘Matthew and the others wouldn't find a thing. Matthew was willing to give up right then and there and so were Ensign Corbin and the rest.
"We've gone over this stuff for almost three hours and we haven't found one shred of evidence to point us in any direction even I'm baffled sir" Corbin said.
"I am too Ensign but we need to keep searching" Matthew replied.
“Matthew thought that after a few more minutes he would show his inconclusive findings to the Captain. He was about to put away his tricorder when it came to him.
"OF COURSE,HOW COULD I NOT SEE IT BEFORE" Matthew said as he had realized what he was seeing.
Matthew tapped on his comm. badge "Matthew to Captain Cir‘kem".
[Cir’kem here] was the reply.
"Sir” Matthew said,” I can't be too sure but I think I have an I idea for what is going on with our little debris field"
There was a brief pause before Cir’Kem replied [Good, good Commander .]
"Captain I'd like to call a staff meeting to fill everyone in on my findings" Matthew said.
“Alright Commander . we'll have the meeting in an hour that'll give me enough time to get all the department heads ready while you prepare your findings, Cir’Kem out]
*Great now all I have to do is get my findings ready Matthew thought to himself.

It had been a while since Ensign Davis had left the bridge, and Nika started to wonder if he was going to interview every single Romulan before reporting back to her. It might have been more useful if he let her know what he'd learned so far. “Cir'Kem to Davis,” she said. There was no reply. “Nika to Davis.” Still nothing. “Computer, locate Ensign Davis.”
“Ensign Davis is on deck 7, crew quarters.”
Is he alright? Nika wanted to ask, but she knew the computer wouldn't be able to answer that question. But she needed to know why he wasn't replying to her signals. “What is the status of Ensign Davis?”
“Ensign Davis is unconscious,” the computer replied.
“Transport him to sickbay,” Nika ordered. “And are there security logs from the area he was interviewing people in?”
“Yes.”
Never trust a computer to volunteer information. In that way, they agreed with Nika, but they didn't pick up the subtleties of certain questions. “Transfer those hall recordings to my office.”
Nika ducked into her office, and watched the recordings, but they didn't help much, just showed which of the rooms Ensign Davis had been in, which she could have figured out without them. “Nika to Sickbay.”
“Sickbay here.”
“Can you tell yet if Ensign Davis' injuries were caused deliberately yet or not?”
“Yes...They were caused deliberately.”
“Thank you,” Nika said, preparing to close the channel.
“Also, Commander Nack was just transported here, I thought you might like to know.”
“What? How was he injured?”
“It appears that he was attacked.”
Nika sighed. It seemed logical at this point to suspect the Romulans, though she didn't see how someone could be so foolish as to attack those whose ship they were on. “Nika to all Starfleet Officers, please beware, as some of the Romulan refugees we've taken on seem to be hostile, don't turn your back on them, it seems to be quite risky.”
That taken care of, hopefully no more of her people would be injured, now she had to find out who specifically had injured Russell and Nack, and why. She talked with Commander Matthew, and scheduled the meeting in an hour, hopefully to give herself enough time to calm down the current situation a little. “Nika to Ensign Siden,” she said, contacting Rolandin through one of the security guards assigned to watch him, “Tell Rolandin I need to talk to him. He owes me an explanation.”

Rolandin enters the captains ready room. "yp u wanted to see me captain." The captain explains what the romulans are doing. "Captain they might think their being held captive and are frightened maybe if i talk to them and explain the situation and i recommend until were out of this situation that they be kept to pne area of the ship and security guards be placed just as a precaution."

On:
“Captain Long Range Sensors are back on line.” Said Lieutenant Youngblood “I am scanning the debris” “I believe that the debris is a ship that has been destroyed” Commander Mathew said that the debris is of uranium & boridum. “Captain scans has found that the signature of the vessel could be Romulan transport vessel.” Romulans were peering into main engineering, as a door had become jarred open. There was nothing too secretive about the Victory's main engineering, but all the same, it was probably not a good idea to have these refugees checking things out.
=/\= Nack to Youngblood. Where is our security team? =/\=
=/\=Commander Nack security teams are enroute to engineering =/\=
Lieutenant Youngblood tapped his comm. Badge =/\= Lieutenants Reed and Malloy meet me in engineering. =/\=
Yahnie and his team arrived in engineering.

Nack was fading in and out of consciousness. He awoke at one point in time to moan a few words, which got the attention of the attending nurse.
With the nurse not being experience in caring for Ferengis, she accidentally brushed harshly against Nack's ear, causing him to wince in pain before passing out again.
Awaking again, Nack slowly lifted his head up, only to be greeted by a throbbing pain emanating from the back of his head. Recognizing the cortical-stimulator apparatus surrounding his head, he realized his nervous system was probably slightly damaged. It would be best to hold still.
A few minutes later, a nurse came by and noticed he was awake. Nack must have been passed out for awhile, because there was a different nurse on duty this time. Now that he was receiving treatment, she would be a more careful nurse than the previous.
"I need to talk to the Captain," Nack said, clearly drained of energy- but he was not loud enough to gain the attention of the nurse, who was busy chatting with another officer in the same predicament. Nack's vision was fuzzy, and he couldn't see who was in the bed, nor could he get their attention.

Nika wasn't sure that she agreed with Rolandin's assessment of the situation—she could have believed it if there weren't multiple attacks going on in isolated groups, or if the attacks made more sense. Instead they seemed to be from behind, but not with any goal that Nika could understand. Nonetheless, his idea of posting guards was something she'd already done. She thanked him for the idea, wondering if there shouldn't be something more he could do to help.
“Computer,” she ordered, once the conversation was over. “Let me know when Commander Nack gains consciousness.” She very much needed to talk to her first officer, she didn't like having to carry on with making decisions without at least talking things over—he often saw things she missed.
A few minutes later she was greeted by the cheerful computer chirp. “Commander Nack is conscious.”
Nika started to rise from her chair, only to have to computer halt the relief she was feeling in its tracks. “Commander Nack has lost consciousness again.”
Nika sighed. “Computer, let me know when Commander Nack gains consciousness for a period of thirty seconds or longer.”
She didn't hear anything more from the computer for a while, but she realized that the meeting Commander Matthew was going to be preparing for would have very sparse attendance. As in it would be her, Lieutenant Commander Youngblood, and Commander Matthew. “Nika to Matthew, I've decided against a formal briefing, so if you could just come up to the bridge to tell me what you've found once you're done correlating the data, I'd appreciate it.”
She was waiting for the reply, when the computer informed her that Commander Nack had been conscious for a short time now. Nika smiled wryly, Nack always managed to interrupt something, even if he'd been unconscious for a while. Still, this was very good news, Nika was delighted to hear it. She got Commander Matthew's reply, then gave the Acting Chief Navigation Officer the bridge while she went to visit Commander Nack and get his input about the situation.

As Russell woke he looked up to see a nurse hovering over him, as he began to try to get up the nurse held him down “you should try not to move at the moment, you took quite a hit to the back of your head” starting to remember what had happened he started to tell the nurse in case he lost consciousness. After a few minutes she explained that is what they had expected after Commander Nack had been beamed over. Tilting his head to look past the nurse he saw Nack out cold on one of the other bio beds. Nodding he thanked her and decided to rest while he waited to be released, ‘I am never again leaving the bridge far to much effort’.
ooc sorry for the small post my internet is being a bit of a pain so I don’t get long on it lol

‘Lt, Cmdr Youngblood Why not, I don’t have anything to shoot at right now ‘

“As the doors close Matthew and maybe we can Rub some dirt on those new Lt, Commander pips to Duded the Glair for those things are blinding “

< Cargo Bay 3>
“Cmdr Matthew along with newly promoted Lt, Cmdr Youngblood walked into the Cargo Bay and They where greeted instantaneously by three security officers.
“Captain Cir’Kem,” This is Lt. Reed and Malloy they are the best in security and under my control. If you need anything they are at your command.”
The third security officer Yahnie had no idea of who he was?” Yahnie had thought he met all the security officers aboard the Victory.
“Cmdr Matthew pulled out his tricorder and made a few sweeps of the debris in font of him. Unfortunately the sweep of the tricorder uncovered nothing. Lt, Cmdr Youngblood pulled out some more diagnostic tools from the kit and Started Scanning some of the debris. The others are investigating the debris too. After Youngblood had made a determination of his scans they remain the same as on the bridge. The debris had come from a ship.

USS VICTORY [Scene: Cargo bay #3 ]
“LT Cmdr Taylor from The Stellar Cartography Department strode in, smiling pleasantly, as he always tried to do. People were less likely to be surly to someone who was smiling. Cmdr Matthew looked up from his computer and regarded him. "Taylor... Do you have anything to add to my investigation Taylor ?"
"Oh, I'm fine, thank you. Actually, one of my New Junior officers reported something about a strange reading in the Area where your Debris was found ."
"Cmdr Matthew ‘ And you didn’t fill its was important To report to the Bridge at that time Jeff ?"
"LT Cmdr Taylor No we get Theses kind of reading all the time ;it now only become important when we add your ship Debris to the mix ‘
“Cmdr Matthew’ Ok what Did your Junior officer come across Doing his or her Scanning of the Area”
"LT Cmdr Taylor A Radiation and a energy spiking almost at 250% in the Area where the Debris was found . We can't explain it. It could have been from a space Vessel being destroyed ‘I had her notify the rest of the Stellar Cartography Department and send out more probes, but so far, no answer. just more Questions Mac "
"OK." Matthew said, standing. "
"LT Cmdr Taylor ‘Well , I'm only a scientist, sir. And just a really nice guy in a Blue uniform."
Despite himself, Matthew couldn't help but smile at the man as he and Lt, Cmdr Youngblood left for the Bridge.
[Scene: Main Bridge Turbo lift “ ]
“Cmdr Matthew eyes flew over the data that they had just received, and still hadn't found anything that they didn't know.”
[Scene: Main Bridge, USS VICTORY ]
[ Two-Minutes later” Turbo lift Doors open ]
“Cmdr Matthew and Lt, Cmdr Youngblood Exit on to the main bridge “
"Captain Cir’kem without looking over her Shoulder Commander Report." she said, “Cmdr Matthew Walk around to the front where the Captain was sitting.
“Cmdr Matthew Handed her a Padd with his report on “
“Cmdr Matthew “ Captain after taking a closer look at the Debris in cargo bay # 3 we did find a serial number that traces back to a Bajoring Transport ship the Sunrise she was listed as deactivated 14 months ago which mean someone been using her to run Illegal cargo untll her engine overloaded and Imploded “
“Scanning of the Debris for Biological where Negative leaving us to think all of her crew got off her before she came to her End “
“At this time there no Romulain involvement in the Destruction of the Sunrise .
