After receving word of what he should do, Daya go to work. Scanning the different systems, Daya found nothing. He kept looking, but soon had grown tired of finding nothing.
"Sir, it would appear the device somehow got past all of the level 1 security clearence codes. I cant find any way that it could have happened, at least not yet"
"Keep looking Ensign"
"aye sir" Daya replied in a less than ethusiastic voice.
'great just what i always wanted to do, search more systems' He thought to himself, smuggly going over the systems one by one

Scene > Deck 17 Micro Science Lab
*T'Sel Quinton yawned as she headed to the science lab...it was going to take some getting used to working alpha shift.... and besides she kept getting twinges in her mind of something really mean and ugly...it was right on the edge and would have been stronger but she kept pushing it back, sometimes it sucked being telepathic she thought.
Then her thoughts turned to the new holoprogram she was working on and the upgrade she needed to finish on her science station computer...he’he’he she thought when I am done that station will almost be able to walk...*
*she passed other crew members and got little more than a nod here and there.... she could sense their uneasiness around her and sighed.... her Vulcan appearance made them assume she was "all" Vulcan...wish they would at least try she thought sadly.
She knew she was pretty enough, and not a bad conversationalist, so what did she have to do to get people past the Vulcan thing? Ehhh to heck with them she thought.... I can only be myself and if that is not good enough...too bad!! *

“Scene “
<< Main Engineering >>
The turbo lift doors open and the engine room greets Lt Parson with that good old feeling of familiarity. Parson takes a breath, straightens his uniform, and steps out. He immediately heads for the replicator in the engineer's office.
Parson> Coffee, black.
*His order materializes.
Parson> There we go. Thanks. He steps back into the engine room and gazes at the warp core as he contemplates the tasks at hand.
Rook: approaches Parson carefully, noticing he is in thought Sir, may I remind you that food and drink are typically not allowed on the engineering deck.
Parson >Turns to face the young officer with a frown you don't say? He sips his coffee*
Rook: nods would you like me to dispose of it for you?
Parson >Laughing on the inside Give me a minute. Takes several gulps of the coffee with a smirk of open defiance.
Rook: Sir...
Parson >He kills off the rest of the cup in final gulps and releases a sigh of complete satisfaction. Now THAT was a good cup of coffee. Here, pal, you can take this off my hands. He hands the cup to the silent officer who takes it and leaves. Now, what next?
Parson opens a nearby storage cabinet and procures an enlarged version of a handheld data PADD, this one being about 60x35 cm, and calls up schematics and system information on the Freedom. While scanning it he notices the dates of the last inspection, but the chirp of his comm. Badge interrupts his thought.
Cmdr Matthew> to chief Parson
Parson >taps badge in response Lt Parson here.
Cmdr Matthew > I've gotten about as far as I can with the data repairs and I decrypted the new material.
Lt, jg Parson> not yet but I will have it on your desk within the hour. Parson out. The comm. link closes (were are those time stamps documents' ? Hmm.) He tucks the large PADD under his arm and heads out for the science lab on Deck 17.

It was a hectic ten minutes of complete chaos. Many of the junior officers started running around trying to make their way to wards escape pods. Matt wasn't going anywhere, so he just continued to work to find out who the self-destruct had occurred. When Admiral Loskene and Commander Matthews stopped the self-destruct. It was still a bit chaotic.
It was until Commander Matthews said everything was fine over the comm did things start to settle down. What Matt didn't understand was how a machine, explosive, what ever it was had gotten into there main computer and activate the self-destruct. Matt quickly checked his operations station, but found that it wasn't reading anything out of the normal.
It was so frustrating, Matt knew that something was terribly wrong, but his station just said that things were running as good as usual.
Adm. Loskene > Number one find out how this happen we where just Seconds away from the ship being Destroyed and I wont control of my ship back now. Matt also wanted to know, not many people could activate a self-destruct on a Sovereign class ship. A sovereign with a Admiral as its captain.
Somehow in this confusion everyone had forgotten about Lt. Johnson. It was something that should never happen.
"Lt Johnson back away from the tri-colbat device, we're going to teleport you over," Matt said over the comm.
"Understood," Lt. Johnson said and then a few seconds later the transporter chief reported that Lt. Johnson was on board and heading towards the bridge.

After the Jefferson informed the Victory that they were able to throw the tri-cobalt explosive back to the place where it came from and that they successfully deactivated the self-destruct sequence somehow initiated by the entity they could not locate. Felix took a few moments to gather his thoughts.
"Ok, lieutenant"; he spoke to Owen, "Ask the Jefferson to transmit all their data on the entity and propose to them that we should put all our efforts to neutralizing the cause of our problems rather than the symptoms as the person who did all this can do a lot more unless we find him and stop it"; Felix said
"Aye, sir", Owen said as he got down to work
<Tag Owen Johnson>
"Lt. Duchek", Felix called to the asst. CTSO
"Yes sir?", the man asked
"Any luck with the interference on our internal comm. system?"; Felix asked
"Indeed there is, sir"; the man responded, "I have been able to determine that it doesn't seem to be intentional but rather a side effect created by someone or something phasing in and out of our own space", Duchek finished
"I see", Felix said, "D you think it might have something to do with our troublemaker or saboteur if you prefer?"; Felix asked
"Well sir I conclude that it might be and most probably is the side-effect of his attempts to sabotage our ships", the lieutenant responded

"Thank you admiral," T'Val said neutrally, after Loskene had read the PADD and given her permission to beam over. She returned to sickbay to pack her medical kit, an item she didn't go anywhere without, and headed for the transporter room.
~~
Rayna was pacing the length of her quarters for the umpteenth time now. She didn't know whether it had been hours or days since she'd been escorted to her quarters. Nobody had come to see her, not even question her, and she hadn't tried to leave her quarters. She assumed that if she would, it would look like an escape attempt and since she hadn't done anything wrong, she didn't want to give off the wrong impression.
Now however, the Romulan fugitive was starting to get impatient and lonely. She walked towards the door, and to her surprised it opened and there were no guards present to bar her way. "Funny," she muttered, "they must've forgotten to tell me I'm free to go." She left her quarters and went on her way to sickbay.
When she got there, she found the place with the CMO absent. "Computer, locate T'Val."
=^= T'Val is headed towards transporterroom three =^=
Rayna picked up her pace and sped towards the designated transporterroom, intercepting her friend just before she entered. "Where are you going?" she enquired.
"I am going to bring some information on our intruder to the commanding officer of the Victory," T'Val announced, "information which cannot be sent via the communications channels."
"I'm coming with you," Rayna said, "you're not going there alone."
"Yes I am," T'Val said coldly, "you are to return to your quarters."
"You can't order me. I'm going with you, and that's non-negotiable."
T'Val sighed, seeing that the woman was not to be persuaded. "Very well, but I do not know whether the Victory crew will like the presence of a Romulan. The Jefferson crew is accustomed to you but the Victory crew is not. Do not tell me afterwards that I have not warned you, should their crew be hostile towards you."
A scant two minutes later, the two women materialised in the Victory's transporterroom. "We need to get to the bridge," T'Val told the transporter chief, "I know the way." They quickly found their way to the bridge. To her surprise, T'Val didn't see the commanding officer anywhere, thus instead walked up to what she assumed to be the first officer.
"Commander, I am Healer T'Val, chief medic aboard the Jefferson," she said, then held out a PADD to him. "This is what I have discovered about the intruder. You may find this useful information." She tapped Rayna on the shoulder. "Perhaps you could assist the commander," she suggested, "and then return to the Jefferson to report to Loskene."
Rayna nodded. "I am Rayna," she introduced herself, "and I have many skills that can be made use of."

Matt gave out a sigh of slight relief. For right now he didn't have to worry about the tri-cobalt device, the saboteur, or anything else. But that only lasted for 2.2 seconds.
"Commander report," Admiral Loskene ordered. Matt hadn't expected it, but it was his job.
"It seems that the device out there on our hull, penetrated our computer system and activated the ships self-destruct when Lt. Johnson messed with it," Matt said thinking that he was stating the obvious.
"Thank you Commander," Admiral Loskene said as he went back to work. It didn't matter what Matt said because to be honest he knew very little. There were some strange aliens on board, a tri-cobalt device on the hull, a self-destruct that could of been activated by a machine, and the likelihood that there still was a saboteur.
Matt's first mission had turned out to be so much more dangerous and mysterious. Something that he thought impossible, but alas here he was. Matt needed to know more about everything that was happening. He had to be able to give his Captain a reasonable answer to his questions. If he didn't know, the lives of two ships could be in danger.
Matt then saw that Lt. Johnson has come up to the bridge. He seemed fine, but Matt could tell he was a bit shook up. Who wouldn't? His last moments of life could of been outside of a spaceship looking at the thing that killed you.
"How are you Lt.?" Matt asked.
<Tag Alexander>
After knowing that his fellow crew mate was fine, Matt went back to work on his search for answers. Hopefully the Victory would have some.

=^=Johnson here=^=
=^=Has the Victory discovered anything new about our current predicament?=^=

Unfortunately the Victory didn't know much more than the Jefferson, but it did help. At that very moment his console told him that someone had just transported to the Victory. It had been Healer Val and Rayna. Matt was going to say something, but realized that there was no reason. The two women were not responsible for what happened and maybe they could find some answers while they were there.
Matt then went to his investigation, it was something that he had neglected to do for the time being. Matt knew that he was still on one of the ships. He had thought that Clarey was the saboteur, but that was quickly squashed.

After Lt. Duchek ascertained that the creature left a trail when it appeared in their space, Felix had him send the info over to Lt. Owen Johnson’s console.
"Lt. Johnson, see if you can set up our sensors to track the movements of this saboteur we have on board", Felix said
<Tag Owen Johnson>
After he finished his talk with Owen, Healer T'Val and a romulan officer named Rayna arrived to the bridge. Felix simply nodded to Rayna and took the pad T'Val gave him.
"So the entity that has been causing all this trouble is a common ancestor for the two ambassadors species?", Felix asked handing the pad back to T'Val
<Tag T'Val>
"I see", he said, "So it's possible it is attacking the ambassadors and not us and seeing both of the ambassadors are on the Jefferson the explosives and the attempted self-destruct sequence only happened to them while the only things that have happened here are simply malfunctions to prevent us from interfering?"; he asked
<Tag T'Val>
"We might have some news regarding our saboteur, Mr. Johnson is attempting to modify our sensors so that we would be able to track him", Felix informed T'Val
<Tag T'Val>
After he finished his talk with her, he diverted his attention to the Romulan officer.
"Well it is good to have you on board Ms. Rayna", Felix said, "You can help out lt. Duchek working on the comm. system", Felix said pointing to the Asst. CTSO.
"So the entity that has been causing all this trouble is a common ancestor for the two ambassadors species?", Felix asked handing the pad back to T'Val
"That is correct," T'Val replied coolly, "but an ancient ancestor. This creature that seems to be our intruder is at least five thousand years old."
"Interfering with what?" T'Val querried, "I doubt this creature meant to attack us. If it is ancient, perhaps it does not know that it is in fact damaging us? Perhaps it is merely attempting to bring it's descendants together, by forcing them to work together? If that is indeed its aim."
"I would advise caution," T'Val insisted, "and make sure your officer does not hurt this creature. I have had trouble enough getting medical data on the Polanites, and I have yet to gain information on the Baltorians. I do not have the knowledge to treat an ancient elder. I would advise approaching this creature with the respect given to any tribe elder."
Rayna nodded, flashed a bright smile at T'Val and moved over to the Human officer. She quickly read over his findings and frowned at him. "I haven't a clue what might be the problem. When did the communications system cut out? Could you summarize for me what has been tried to fix it, and what you've tried to fix it?" When the human gawked at her, she bit her lip in thought. "Please?" she finally added, after a long silence.

The nervous air on the bridge began to turn into a calmer state. Yet the officers knew not to let their guards down. The alien creature had caused damage before, and many thought that inevitably, it would strike again. Lieutenant Johnson, having successfully neutralized the explosive device, returned to the airlock and entered the Jefferson. It did allay some of the dread that the crew felt, but there was still the problem of escaping the grip of whatever held the two ships in place.
Loskene: Please inform Mr. Johnson that once he gets cleaned up, head up to the bridge.
Commander Matthews nodded and relayed the message to Johnson.
Loskene: Mr. Daya, keep the shields up and weapons at ready. I want this ship to be on the offensive the moment--
Loskene stopped speaking during his sentence. He felt very strange, as if he was being yanked away from the bridge. He began to feel weak and blacked out for an undetermined amount of time. When he awoke from unconsciousness, he was unsure of where he was. Looking around, he could only see darkness. There was no sight, no sound, no smell, and no touch. Just pure darkness. Loskene addressed the darkness, hoping to find something or someone who would answer.
Loskene: HELLO? ello- ello- ello- lo...
Loskene's voice echoed throughout. Nothing answered. He tried to walk and could indeed feel himself walking, although it seemed to lead him nowhere.
Loskene: Where the hell am I...?
Loskene continued to speak, hoping that he would be heard.
Loskene: I am Admiral Loskene of the USS Jefferson, of the United Federation of Planets. Identify yourself...or selves.
Loskene waited a moment, and he began to hear a noise. It was a strange, low sounding rumbling. Feeling returned as he could hear the floor or surface beneath him shake. Once the rumbling had ceased, it was again empty. Loskene sighed in aggravation. Suddenly, out of the top or ceiling, came a bright spotlight. It surrounded Loskene, and was extremely bright, causing him to squint. A few meters away, another spotlight came down. At first, Loskene could see nothing. But after a short amount of time, Loskene could make out an outline of a humanoid of some sort. It approached Loskene slowly.
As the being approached closer and closer, Loskene could make out the humanoid shape. The creature was illuminated by a pure white light which shrouded it. No face or clothing was visible on it. All that could be seen were two legs, two arms, a torso, a thin neck and a rounded face. It stopped when it had approached Loskene. It began to speak in a disembodied voice.
Being: Rana k'rill mano' to'sl'a ki ano maw br'opora'poo'lanite joua baln'to'ran.
Loskene: I...I don't understand your language. Did you just say Polanite?
The creature came closer until it was within arms length of Loskene. It raised its hand and placed it on Loskene's forehead. As it did this, Loskene could feel a merging of minds. Thoughts exchanged for thoughts, information exchanged for information. Very soon after, Loskene backed away, his mind overloaded with information. Loskene fell backwards, in severe pain from the overload.
Soon afterward, Loskene awoke on floor of the bridge, doctors surrounding him.
Doctor: He's regaining consciousness. Inform Healer T'Val that the admiral is in critical condition and requires immediate medical attention. She should still be on the Victory.
The doctor then turned his attention toward Loskene.
Doctor: Don't worry sir, you're in relatively good hands.
Loskene: Weapons....Weapons, don't fire--- k'rill mano' to'sl'a kamno'aora. No! Don't do it! It-it-it... Creature... mistake.........unknowlingly...... Stam'o'ran'ti' kryiiu!!!!!!!!!
Doctor: He's going into shock! Let's get him sedated people! Get Healer T'Val up here, stat!
Loskene grabbed one of the nurses and knocked her to the ground.
Loskene: No!!!!.. sedation...
One of the nurses handed the doctor a hypospray and he quickly subdued the admiral. The doctor sighed in temporary relief.
Doctor: Nurse, are you alright?
Nurse: Yeah I think so. Shoulder may be out of place though.
Doctor: Well what are you waiting for? Christmas? Get it checked out.
Nurse: Yes sir.
Loskene now had the answers to the most vital questions... The question was, could the ship and crew save him and themselves before more havoc is wreaked?

T'Val was just getting into the swing of things aboard the Victory, explaining to their senior staff just what their intruder really was when a junior non-commissioned officer raced up to her and urgently told her that she was needed on the Jefferson. The Vulcan healer shoved her stack of PADDs into Tiffani's hands. "You know as much as I do, and you have spoken to both ambassadors," she said, "If you have questions contact me but I have to go back to the Jefferon."
With that she sped into a turbolift, as far as Vulcans do any speeding and motioned quickly for Rayna to stay put. Only a minute later she re-appeared in sickbay aboard the jefferson, having beamed there straight from the Victory's transporter room. The doctor responsible for beaming Loskene to sickbay walked up to her. "He's in bad shape ma'am," he said urgently.
"What happened," T'Val asked as she picked up a medical tricorder and activated its scanner to take readings of Loskene's vital signs. She listened as the doctor briefly explained what had transpired earlier. "And who had the missense to sedate him?" she asked curtly.
"I did," the doctor said, "I feared he might hurt himself or someone else." He explained about the nurse.
"If she was knocked down then she was in the way," T'Val said impassionately, "now please step out of my way. He should not have been sedated, but by the looks of things he will come out of it in a few minutes. If you had read your files correctly doctor, then you would have known the admiral is prone to fainting after having a vision." She looked up. "By the look on your face you obviously were unaware of that. I believe the admiral has had some sort of vision. Did he say anything before you sedated him?"
She listened with interest as the doctor repeated the words he recalled Loskene calling out. "It concerns the Polanites and the Baltorians, by the sound of it. That are the only words I recognized. Get to the bridge and have Reynolds, or someone else run them through the universal translator."
Ignoring the doctor from then on, she concentrated on Loskene. His neural system seemed to have suffered a shock, and his bloodpressure - insofar he had one - was increased. Gently she lifted his eyelids and shone a light in his eyes, noting that the pupils remained dilated for a few seconds after contracting. She stepped back when he stirred and closed her tricorder.
"Did you have a vision?" she asked, when he sat up and she prevented him from toppling over. "What did you see?"

Alexander Johnson entered the bridge as the Captain was being tended by the Doctors. He stopped in the middle of doing up his uniform jacket and crossed to the Captain's chair in a few moments. He tried to see, but was pushed away by a nurse. He just stood there as the whole thing went on and the Captain was carried out.
He was stunned for a moment then heard Matthew say, "Take your station Mr Johnson."
"Aye sir." replied Johnson, distractedly.
He worked away for a few minutes, then a call came from sickbay to run the Captain's alien words through the translation matrix.
"I'll do it." Alex volunteered and called up the universal translator through his station. He waited as the computer processed the phrase.
"The computer doesn't know what to make of it, it recognises the words 'Baltorian' and 'Polanite', but can't make heads or tails of the rest of it. I guess the Captain is the only one who can help us." said Johnson.

Loskene slowly sat up, still a bit weak. His skin pigmentation had turned to a grayish purple tone, for he had trouble maintaining his human appearance. He slowly began to speak.
Loskene: I... It touched me.... That alien. I cannot even begin to explain what happened. I have 10,000 years of knowledge...But I cannot seem to remember any of it. Yet, I... I can feel it in the back of my mind.... Memories 10,000 years past... But I cannot recall any of it... it is difficult to explain. I do know one thing... We cannot fire on the creature, it is doing what it does because it feels it's for the best.
T'Val stood listening, somewhat puzzled. The creature was presumed to be half of that age. Loskene continued.
Loskene: It... It has watched over the Polanites and Baltorians for it's whole existence. It is, in fact, the creature who separated the two species. They um.... they once inhabited one planet together... But it wasn't a peaceful coexistence among them. Both species grew up on their separate continents, until about 8,000 years ago...when the two continents, which were subjected to continental drift, connected. At the first encounter, both species immediately attacked another. Many were killed, and the two species took up residence on opposite sides of the continent.
Loskene took a deep breath and continued.
Loskene: Even after the incident, both species continued to invade the others' land. It continued for many years, up to the day when the Polanites began to developed high tech weapons, about 3,000 years ago. The Polanites managed to wipe out over half of the population of the Baltorian species. The creature had watched this for many years, and could not bear to see the two species fight each other any longer. Thus, the creature intervened in their affairs. Somehow, with it's incredible abilities, it was able to transfer an entire species to a nearby planet, thus ending the suffering endured by both species.
It thought that if we were going to unite both species, it would bring only destruction to them. And then it purposefully interfered in our plans of the peace conference between the two species. It used it's powerful mind to create illusions and cause chaos on our ships. The explosive was a projection from it's mind, and thus it had us believing that we were in danger. The dead crewmen are not truly dead. The creature shrouded them. They are still on the ship, but none of us can see them. The creature agreed to release the crewmen, but only if we leave immediately and bring the two species back to their respective planets.
Now... I... I need rest.... I... very weak...
The admiral began to slip into unconsciousness...

After T'Val abruptly departed he did not even manage to tell her to inform him of the admiral’s condition. Well so much for your typical Vulcan he thought as the doctor rushed of the bridge.
"Mr. Owens contact the Jefferson and tell them to let us know of any changes in the admiral's condition.", Felix said
<Tag Owen Johnson>
Then he turned to Tiffani.
"So counselor you have spent some time with our friends the Polanites and the Blatorians, what can you tell me about them?"; he asked while looking over on of the pads given to him by T'Val
<Tag Tiffani>
Perhaps she was correct he thought. Perhaps this is the case just of miscommunication just like Darmok and Jalad at Tanagra from the NCC-1701-D's encounter with the Tamarians he thought.
"Darmok and Jalad at Tanagra", he said out loud
<Tag everyone>
Meanwhile lt. Duchek and the Romulan officer from the Jefferson were slowly making progress with the internal communications.
"It seems as if the background radiation is amplified by something or someone either by accident or on purpose and it is now blocking our internal comm. systems"; Duchek said to Rayna

"Mr Johnson contact the Jefferson and tell them to let us know of any changes in the admiral's condition."
"Aye sir." Owen responded as he started sending the message. He didn't expect a response immediately and while he waited, he continued working on the more mundane tasks that he was required to do. He was looking at the latest requests that he had received from various departments; a request for extra power to the lateral sensors, another two requests both asking for for the use of short range sensor pallete 3 at exactly the same time and a few other minor requests.
Owen's attention was focused on Felix when he spoke, "Darmok and Jalad at Tanagra."
Owen wasn't sure if Felix was thinking clearly so he asked, "Sir, who or what are Darmok and Jalad at Tanagra?"
Felix explained in a condensed story.
"I see, so you're saying that this could be similar to the Enterprise's mission, that there could just be a misunderstanding."
At the moment Owen received a message from the Jefferson informing him of the Admiral's condition.
"Sir, I have just received word from the Jefferson. Admiral Loskene has regained conciousness and is otherwise in good health. Also, it appears as if your hunch is correct, apparently the entity is trying to protect the ambassadors from each other."

*Tiffani had been observing the crew's behavior as the problems seem to arise between the victory crew and they Jefferson, it was a simple Dimplomatic Mission that had gone from bad to worse, she listened as felix had been giving out orders here and there, she watched as the Vulcan healer left the bridge upruptley and as Felix asked Johnson to contact the Jefferson crew, she could tell there was alot of tension onboard, especially seeing as Felix was returning to the ship and was temporary Co, she was surpised they crew was working so well without having been told anything her train of thought was broken when felix turned to her and asked her a question.*
"So counselor you have spent some time with our friends the Polanites and the Blatorians, what can you tell me about them?"; he asked while looking over on of the pads given to him by T'Val
Well i Can tell you that the Polanites have a hatred for the Male species *she paused momentarily as a few of the males on the bridge looked her way* I mean Males in Particular, they don't seem to think highly of them it's given. And the Blatorians seem to think that the Polanites are stuck up and don't want to compromise any because of their hatred toward men
*she paused for a moment collecting her thoughts before carrying on* My Suggestion is that perhaps we see if we can get a meeting between Zyrona and one of the highest ranking Females from the Blatorians, perhaps if we was to have a go between for the Blatorians things could go more smoothly.
<tag Felix or anyone victory bridge>
Your Right, It could still be a problem *replied Tiffani* but IF they Polanites aren't willing to compromise and the Blatorians are, perhaps it could be more beneficial to the Blatorians then they realize, if they are willing to let a female from their race speak to Zyrona on their behalf. It would be a sign of good faith at any rate.

T'Val caught the swaying admiral and eased him back. Technically, he shouldn't be losing his consciousness again, but she surmised that maybe being unconscious was what was best for him now. His body needed time to regenerate, as evidently this mind touch, or whatever it had been, had taxed his systems. Judging by his skintone, it was clear that he was fighting to keep his human form.
The Vulcan pondered for a moment, wondering whether he might be better off healing in his natural form, but she wouldn't give him anything to achieve that without his expressed permission. Aside from that, his natural form would most likely scare the medical staff. Gently, she briefly placed a hand on his forehead and nodded; at least he didn't have a fever.
T'Val tended to favour old fashioned techniques for measurement over 24th century technology, feeling that if they could get by in the old ages, there would be nothing wrong with the technique. She felt that doctors nowadays depended too much on technology, and too little on their own common sense.
She pulled up a blanket up to his chin and turned her back on him. "T'Val to Matthew, the admiral is not yet out of danger but he is on his way to recovery. However, I need to know what was he looking at, or doing when he collapsed?"
<Matthew>
While awaiting his answer, she contacted the Victory. "Commander Rylka, if you have time please come over to the Jefferson later today. I believe Admiral Loskene should talk to a counselor when he wakes up, and the Jefferson currently has none. He may not want to talk to one, but I strongly advise you to be present when he wakes up next."
<Tiffani>
With a last glance towards the unconscious form of the Jefferson's commanding officer, T'Val walked into her office to update his medical record. She wondered how much he would remember of what he had told her when he regained consciousness again. At present, she hoped he would wake up only long enough to fall into a long healing sleep. Shaking her head, she smiled to herself; commanding officers, no matter where she served, always proved to be a handful if and when they were sent to sickbay, no matter what for. So far, Loskene had proven to be no different.

"Well from what I’ve seen here and read about the two races they can use all the help they can get, alto perhaps communicating with us earlier rather then pretending to try to kill us would be a better choice", Felix said
<Tag Owen>
After he finished his conversation with Owen, Felix turned to Tiffani who was just about to reply to his question regarding the two species. After he heard her out it was time to give his view.
"Well taking all in count, I'd say that these two species or should I say the Polanites in particular are not ready for the peace talks yet, perhaps sometime in the future the Polanites will be more open for compromise and perhaps then peace will be possible.", he said, "It is my view that they are not ready for it yet and us attempting to 'force it' upon them will not work at this time", he said to her
<Tag Tiffani>
After she finished her speech, a call came from the Jefferson. Healer T'Val needed the assistance from Tiffani as the Jefferson did not have a counselor at this time.
"Permission granted Cmdr."; he said to Tiffani, "You may transport to the Jefferson", he added
"Mr. Johnson"; he said to Owen, "Would you transport cmdr. Rylka to the Jefferson"

(Computer start first officer Log)
************************** Star date: 23.0204 Mission Day: 12 Time: 0940 hours Scene: Main Bridge **************************
Cmdr James T Matthew in temporary’s command of the Jefferson after Admiral Loskene Collapse into unconsciousness while on the Bridge he was rush to the sickbay doctor T’val last report had him fading in and out of consciousness at last report he was speaking telling a story about the entity that has been causing all this trouble it would appear it a common ancestor of both of the two ambassadors species?"
I just wish it would have found a better way to get across it anger toward both the Blatorians & Polanites whthere than almost destroying the Jefferson Admiral Loskene Stated that the ship was never in any danger the entity create illusions on board both the Jefferson and the Victory ship to cause havoc all to keep everyone on both ships dizzied while it carried out its on agenda lucky for us its plan did not work.
On a bright not I have added a letter of commendation to Lieutenant Johnson service record of his un-selfish handing of the tri-cobalt device, real or not he was successfully able to neutralize the explosive device, and the victory was able to transport it back where it came from this will look good in his record when he come up before the promotion board. For that Lt Cmdr stripe in 5 or 10 years.
Cmdr Matthew> Now on the diplomatic front Senor cmdr tiffany Rylke the senior counselor on this mission on the victory came up with a very good idea for restarting the Negotiations aging with the Blatorians & Polanites
IF the Polanites aren't willing to compromise and the Blatorians are, perhaps it could be more beneficial to the Blatorians then they realize, if they are willing to let a female from their race speak to Zyrona on their behalf.
It would be a sign of good faith at any rate. Tiffani Rylka I think our counselor should be sitting in on these Negotiations she may have miss her calling as a federation diplomatic.
Well I have a ship to run even with our current situation there are reports to be read and filed it would appear that cmdr gray is having problems with the replicators, on deck nine and there are some small computer malfunctions in 10 forward and there a Communiqué from Starfleet operations that requires my attention its all part of Daily operations of a starship.
Cmdr Matthew>computer end Log >
Computer voice> Log Ended.
************************** Time: 0948 Scene: Main Bridge ************************** Cmdr Matthew >Mister Daya Take us to green alert have your security teams run a bow to stern security check then stand down
Cmdr Matthew> cmdr Reynolds have all Department heads report in there status “
Cmdr Matthew. > James tapped his comm. badge and spoke again, "Matthew to Engineering, what the status of the engines?"
Lt Parson > all impulse and warp engines are back online you can get underway at any time commander.
Cmdr Matthew > that great to here
Lt Parson >engineering out.
Cmdr Matthew> Lt Johnson get me Cmdr Savali on the victory’
Lt Johnson taps away at his computer “
Comm. Officer voice > this is the victory stand bye seconds later Commander Savali voice could be heard
Cmdr Matthew > hi Felix how thing going on the victory “
Cmdr Savali> a lot better now that we have not been blown up how the Admiral “
Cmdr Matthew > he in and out of consciousness our doctor is running some test she has not sent me her report yet ‘am sending you a transcript of what he said on a secured comm. Channel.
I would like for your ship counselor cmdr rylka to sit in on theses negotiations I read over her subjections I think she my have a new twist to these troubles negotiations.
Our time is running out star fleet command reports that a federation transport huller reported a romulain shout ship near our guest home planet.

I do not mean force it on them *She replied* i think that it would be atleast wise enough to perhaps suggest it to the Baltorians and then see how they feel, And of course someone would have to speak to Zyrona as well to see if she would agree to the proceedings. However as you are currently commanding officer they decision is yours.
*she smiled and turned her attention to the call from Healer T'val, she had been spending more and more time on the Jefferson ship it seemed, but she could not tell if all the crew was welcomed to the idea of her being there so she tried to keep things brief as possible each visit*
*Tiffani looked to Johnson who was busy on some other matters when Felix asked him to transport her to the Jefferson, she sensed a few questioning glances from some of the other crewmembers onboard the victory bridge, she nodded to Felix and headed to the transporter room with Johnson*

Scene: Main Bridge
Cmdr Matthew> Cmdr Reynolds you have the bridge I’ll be in sickbay once have Cmdr rylka has transferred on board have her meet me there “ Cmdr Matthew exits the bridge.
As the turbo lift doors close Cmdr Matthew Quietly was thinking to him self it been a long stressful mission he wonder just how long this crew can go before they crack but first thing first there the Physical and mental Health of his commanding officer was his first priority and there was a Tuff Diplomatic Negotiation he may have to take over if the Admiral is unable to return in time the report of that Romulian Shout ship being spotted near the planet Polan would not make this part of the mission any easier .
The romulain Shout ship Defiantly was not sent there to look for the best Vacation spots to visit it the Romulains had there eyes on Polan as well.
I have four family members in the diplomatic service and the first thing I remember about diplomacy 101 is never say out loud what your really thinking.
I hope I can remember more then that Turbo lift doors open Cmdr Matthew exit.
( 30 seconds later he enter the sickbay )
Cmdr Matthew enters sickbay Nurses where Healer T, Val “
Nurse > she over there commander ‘
Cmdr Matthew> Thank you nurse”
Cmdr Matthew > Healer T’val what the condition of the Admiral.
