Cmdr Matthew >Mister Daya Take us to green alert have your security teams run a bow to stern security check then stand down
"Aye sir" Daya tapped on his comm badge, and spoke clearly, "Security teams, Alpha, Beta, Charlie, and Delta, please do a sweep of the entire ship. Spread out as much as you can, then report back to me when your are all finished"
Daya went to the console and pushed a few buttons, the red lights went out and everything went back to a more normal state

"Relax James", Felix said to Matthews, "The 'romulan scout ship' was only a projection created by the being that is protecting the Polanites and the Baltorians, besides their home worlds are too far away from the Romulan border and they do not posses anything the Romulans might use."; he said
<Tag Matthew>
"I will recommend to Starfleet and to admiral Loskene that we cease with our attempts of bringing these two species together as they obviously are not ready for that yet, perhaps sometime in the future but not now, and besides we have the prime directive that forbids us to interfere with internal matters of other planets and civilizations and I would call this being that protects them and its wishes internal maters we can not and shouldn't not mess with", he finished
"Well perhaps you are right", Matthews said, "I will rely your opinions to the admiral who I am sure has the same after being in contact with the being", he said, "Take care, Felix, I’ll talk to you again soon", he said as he closed the comm. channel
Felix returned to his seat while reports from all over the ship were coming in about all systems functioning normally. Now all he had to do was wait for Mr. Owen to return from the transporter room and then to hear what did the admiral decide on how they would proceed next.

T'Val waived Matthew over, but motioned for him to keep his voice down. "The admiral is currently still unconscious," she said softly, while running a few exams on her patient. "At present, I believe that it is best that he stays unconscious for the time being, so that his body gets the chance to regenerate."
She glanced at her tricorder, and then at the readings on the panel at Loskene's feet. "His condition is improving, but he is still critical," she explained, "he may regain consciousness soon again, or me may just go from unconscious to asleep. I will inform you of anything he tells me whenever he is awake. however, I must advise you not to press him for information. He needs as much rest as he can get. The more he rests, the sooner I will allow him back on duty."
She paused again, as she snapped her tricorder shut. "He is not human," she continued to explain the human first officer, "and I fear that I do not have much experience with individuals of his species. In fact, he is my first patient of this species."
Just then, just as Mathew walked out of sickbay, the admiral stirred, and seemed to struggle his way back to consciousness. "Commander," T'Vall called him back, "the admiral seems to be waking up."

[EDIT]
Loskene slowly began to open his eyes and awaken. He saw T'Val on one side of the bed and Matthews on the other. They both remained silent as he slowly sat up.
Loskene: How long has it been...
T'Val: It has been a few hours since you lost consciousness.
Loskene: The alien, the ambassadors, has anything happened?
Matthews: No sir. At least not yet. We are unsure of how to proceed.
Loskene: When it contacted me on the bridge...it appeared to me as a being of pure white light. I could feel no malice or hatred from it, and it even appeared to show empathy and sympathy. I don't believe that it would have harmed us, and I do know that it is ancient. It may even be their creator... Thus I believe that it would know better than us on how to proceed with these two species. I do concur with Mr. Savali. I think it would be a violation of the prime directive to interfere with both species.
Matthew: Beg your pardon?
Loskene: Oh, I meant I could hear Mr. Savali's thoughts at the time. Well, both species will be angry with us, they'll think it was a waste of time, but it's for the best, I believe. Perhaps someday when these two peoples have advanced to a heightened level of maturity, they will have peace. But for now they are just wild children. But at least they have a father watching over them...
Matthew: The missing officers still haven't returned yet.
Loskene: Yes, but I am certain they will be returned if we return the ambassadors to their worlds. Now it's time to explain to the ambassadors...

Cmdr Matthew> cmdr Reynolds have all Department heads report in there status “
"Aye sir," Matt said as he quickly went to work on his orders. He quickly contacted each department head personally. Luckly everything was still running at 100%
"Commander Matthews, departments report everything working at peak effieceny."
"Good, work," Commander Matthews said not really paying attention. Matt thought that he was thinking of what had just happened to there captain.
Cmdr Matthew> Cmdr Reynolds you have the bridge I’ll be in sickbay once have Cmdr rylka has transferred on board have her meet me there “
"Yes sir," Matt said as he got up from his station and went to the Catpain's chair. To Matt it didn't feel right sitting there. Right now at this very moment Admiral Loskene could be fighting for his life.
"Commander i have sent four securty teams around the ship to check it section by section," Ensign Daya reported to Matt.
"Good thinking," Matt said as he just waited for Commander Rylka to arrive. Matt didn't like the wait so he just decided to start working on anything that he could find. Still he wanted to know any news about the Captain, but knew it was prudent to let the doctor work.
"Commander, Commander Rylka has just arrived on the Jefferson, she is heading towards sickbay," a young comms officer reported.
"Reynolds to Commander Matthews, Commander Rylka is heading towards sickbay," Matt said quickly hoping that the the first officer would give him an update.
"Good hopefully she will be able to help us," Commander Matthews said.
"Sir how is the Captain doing?" Matt asked.
"Well Commander to be honest I don't really know," Commander Matthews said as he closed the comml link. It was true that he didn't know what was going on but he did hope that Healer T'Val could update them all soon on the health of their Captain.
A while Later
Matt was just listening to the reports of the security teams were giving and was pleased to find out that everything really was normal. Well as normal as it could be.
=^=T'Val to bridge=^=
=^=Bridge here=^=
=^=Admiral Loskene has regained consceinse and is heading back to the bridge=^=
=^=Thats good to hear doctor, we will be waiting for him. Also doctor did you discover something=^=
<Tag T'Val>
After the short conversation with the doctor, Matt quickly went back to work. The captain was standing and he would soon be on the bridge to lead the Jefferson and Victory out of this.

T'Val wasn't happy; Loskene was still extremely weak, but he insisted on returning to duty. At long last, she agreed albeit reluctantly, and insisted that she escort him. He wouldn't be able to regenerate if he was worrying about command, but she could understand his want to be on the bridge.
She supported him to the bridge and led him to the center seat. "Do not get up," she insisted, "you are not strong enough."
<Loskene>
T'Val walked over to Reynolds and quietly informed him of the most recent developments. "The Jefferson must deliver the Polanites back to their home planet. If we do not, I have no doubt this entity will continue its sabotage. Yet, it does not appear to wish us harm."
<Reynolds>
She paused for a few seconds. "Admiral, with your permission, someone should inform the Polanites that the conference will no longer be taking place."

Matt listened very attentively to what the Healer was saying. When the doctor finished, Matt was going to ask if he was still fit to command, but found that the question was absurd.
"OKay doctor, I will have to contact the Victory to tell them what we are going to do?"

Felix was just finishing his catching up with the latest ship reports when he received word from the Jefferson that admiral Loskene agreed with his recommendation about abandoning the peace talks for now. Owen has also returned from the transporter room and took his station.
"Mr. Johnson, open a channel with cmdr. Rylka on the Jefferson", he said
<Tag Owen>
After Owen informed him that the channel was open he could see that familiar face of Cmdr. Rylka on screen.
"Counselor"; he began, "I need you to go and inform the Baltorians that the conference has been cancel and that you try to explain to them why it has been canceled.", he said, "After you have done that inform them that the Victory will be transporting them back to their home world and then you and them should transport back to the Victory and we will get underway", he finished
<Tag Tiffani>
After Tiffani responded to him and closed the channel he turned to lt. Owen.
"Mr. Owen run a level 3 diagnostic on the warp and impulse engines and the inertial dampeners too, we don't want the ship to shake like someone’s making a vodka-martini", he said to Owen
<Tag Owen>
"Inform me as soon as you're done", he said as he diverted his attention back to the status display on the arm of his chair.

Johnson was intriuged. It seemed that all that fear he and the rest of the crew had gone through had been unnecessary, the device wasn't dangerous at all. He thought he'd been risking his life to save everyone, but he hadn't. 'Oh well,' he mused, 'it's the thought that counts.'
Now, of course there was the other astounding fact that this entity was the protector of the two races. Interesting, somewhat similar to the Edo Guardian or the Ocampa Caretaker.
A few minutes after Loskene had entered the bridge and everything had settled down, Johnson informed the Admiral, "We can have the Polanites back on Polan in under seven hours at maximum warp sir."

OOC: Sorry i haven't posted, but I was on LOA. But i am back now...
IC: Travor woke up in his quarters, How did I end up here? he thought. Oh well I should probably get back to the bridge... He got up took a quick shower, put on a new uniform and left his quarters.
After he got to the bridge, he noticed Commander Savali. He Walked up and said to the Cmdr., "Sir, sorry I haven't been at my post. the last thing i remeber, before waking up in my quarters just now, is being on teh bridge doing a diagnostic on the Helm console."
<Tag Savali>
After the conversation with the commander Travor took his post at the Helm and ran a quick diagnostic. Finding the everything was working at 100% he told the Cmdr. "Sir the Helm is operating at 100%."

T'Val nodded at Reynolds that he should indeed contact the Victory, though she wondered why exactly she was being asked. After all, she was just a healer, and held no starfleet rank. She gazed down at Loskene, who seemed very alert, and then at Mathew, who apparently had not noticed Loskene had entered the bridge a few minutes earlier.
Standing beside the command chair, resting her hand on the back of the chair, she gazed at the main screen. "Sir, someone should talk to the Polanites," she repeated, "will you be all right here? Please do not hesitate to call me if you feel unwell. Actually, I insist that you inform me the moment you feel only ever so slightly unwell. Officially, you are not fit for duty just yet, but as the situation requires you on duty I have allowed it."
<Loskene>
After gaining permission, and his promise, T'Val headed towards Zyrona's quarters. Seemingly the avian was already waiting for her. "Do come in," the Polanite invited her, "is something wrong?"
T'Val nodded. "We have discovered who is behind the sabotages. It is apparent that someone does not want your species and the Baltonians to arrive at the conference. From what we understand, this entity is at least ten thousand years old, and finds a common ground in both your species. We believe that this entity does not find your species and that of the Baltonians ready for the next step. Therefor, it is decided to call the conference off and return you to Polan."
Zyrona sat back and remained silent for a long time, then sighed. "I'm not surprised at this happening," she said after a long silence, "if this entity is what you believe it is, then it may be correct. We have a long way to go before we can talk. You saw what happened at the dinner party. We do not like men, and they don't like us......yes this is for the best. Thank you for telling me."
T'Val nodded, and returned to the bridge. "Ambassador Zyrona took it fairly easy," she reported, "and she concurs with the decision to call off the conference."

Tiffani tapped her combadge =/\=Rylka here, Understood sir, I'll let you know when were ready for transport, Rylka out=/\=
*Tiffani sighed* So much for that she though, things had seemed to be falling to peices more and more. First it was her marriage *she thought silently to herself as she made her way back to the turbolift* then things didn't work out on the tigershark like she had hoped *she took a deep breath again as she stepped into the turbolift and paused a moment on her thoughts*
Computer what deck can i find the Baltorian Ambassador *Tiffani asked* The Baltorian Ambassador is located on Deck 3, VIP quarters *replied the Computer*
Deck 3 please *commanded Tiffani as the turbolift powered up and headed upwards toward deck 3*
*her thoughts wondered back to the recent happenings in her life and hersurroundings, she still had not gotten the chance to see her sweet little Amilea who she missed dearly, she made note to make sure to ask felix how she was doingat the most earliest conveince, and to pick her up as soon as it was humanly possible, just as her thoughts wondered to their wedding day they turbolift came to a halt as an ensign walked into the turbolift*
Getting off Ma'am *came the Young Ensign's reply cutting Tiffani off in mid thought*
What deck is this? *she questioned realizing she had lost track of where she was*
Deck 3 Ma'am *replied the Ensign once more*
Oh Yes, Thank you, have a good day ensign *she smiled as she walked off the turbolift, as she laughed to herself quetly she realized that they ensign probably through she was some deranged lady lost in where she was going* *she came upon the Baltorian Ambassador Quarters and tapped the Buzzer*
Enter *Came the Baltorian Ambassdor voice*
*Tiffani entered and was greeted with a somewhat frowning ambassador* Sorry to intrude but i was sent here to inform you have changes in the Negoations.
Oh? *he questioned eyeing Tiffani as he ordered some strange drink from the replicator* and what changes might those be? and why?
Well we have found out who the sabotour is and it's a protector of sort of your two species. that for some reason or another does not feel that your two races are ready for a peace treaty. *she paused momentarly waiting to see if the ambassador had any questions.
What about the Polanites? Do they concur with your decision? *he asked in a huffy tone knowing already what the answer would be*
The Feel that it is a wise decision to post pone all negations for now, they feel that both sides are not ready for it right now. *commented Tiffani*
Those polanites are probably lying to you *he said in a huff* they just don't want the peace agreement, they hatred between our two species have been going on for to long.
*I Can assure you that the Polanites are not lying. They want the Treaty but they feel that if someone is trying to sabotages the treaty talks then it would be in the best interest of both to wait a few more years *she replied*
Oh? and just how can you assure they aren't lying, what can you read minds or something *he said in a sarcastic tone*
Yes. As a matter of a fact i can, to a point. *she replied* I am part Betazoid, and have Telepathic abilities to some extent. and everything i seemed fromthem was senesarity. perhaps in a few years, your two species can come up with a comprimse that would be beneficial to both, and i recommend that perhaps in the future your species be more willing to bend a little in their demands, it would be more beneficial then you realize *she paused realizing she probably shouldn't of said that but smiled when the baltorian did not frown but instead smiled somewhat*
Perhaps you are right *replied the Ambassador* perhaps in a few years we can be better prepared, I do plan on putting in a request to Starfleet that in the future you be allowed to attend in the peace talks, You have proven to be a valuable person and a trusting person, you could go far as an mediator if you had the proper training *he continued on*
*Tiffani smiled* Thank you, but for the time being we should get your things gathered up and head back to the Victory, we will be transporting your people back to your home planet *she continued on*
Very well, wait one moment while i gather what few belongins i brought with me *he went on about his duties of gathering his belongings*
-----Later on the Victory Bridge-----
*Tiffani had just returned from the Jefferson where she had retrieved the Baltorian Ambassador and after submitting her report on they happenings she reported to the bridge*
*Tiffani smiled at a few officers who looked her direction as she entered she took her place next to the captain chair and nodded at felix* The Ambassodor is ready to return home. So whenever your ready we can head out
*she smiled and leaned back in the chair for a quick moment to rest*

After Tiffani reported back to the bridge of the USS Victory and informed the crew and Felix that the ambassador was back on board and ready for departure, he knew it was time to go. He looked once more at Tiffani before he diverted his attention to the OPS station.
"Mr. Johnson, contact the Jefferson and inform them we are ready for departure."; he said

Then he turned his view to Mr. Gonto at the helm console.
"Mr. Gonto, as soon as the Jefferson acknowledges our message, engage at warp 6.", he said
<Tag Gonto>
After he finished with giving the orders to everyone and all they needed was, message received, from the Jefferson and they'll be on their way to the Baltorian home world, and after that it was back to Assaillant for the much needed R'N'R.

Loskene had just received word from the Victory, and they were ready to depart to the Baltorians' home world.
Loskene: Commander Savali, it is good to see that the Baltorian ambassadors have agreed to be sent home. We are getting a similar vibe with the Polanites. I have other good news. A short while ago, our missing crewmen were returned to us. I hope that is the case with your missing officers as well. As for the creature, I can no longer sense its presence, so I will assume that it has kept its word and will not bother us any longer. Well, we must be getting underway now. The Polanite home world is two hours away. Perhaps we will meet again on Assailant, as I plan on taking a shore leave as well.
The crew on the bridge of the Jefferson began to lighten up and seemed excited.
Loskene: I never stated that all of you would join me. I specifically said I would be the one taking shore leave. So... don't get your hopes up. Alright back to work! What do you think this is, a pleasure cruise?
Matthew: You are joking of course....Right?
Loskene: Am I?
Loskene raised his eyebrow in an enigmatic way and walked off to his ready room, and the Jefferson and Victory majestically warped away to the two planets.

Off: First I would like to thank the crew of the USS Victory-C for their great simming on this joint mission. I know that it has made this mission special for me. Big round of applause. Secondly I'd like to thank everyone for putting up with me, I know that I bugged everyone to post. On: Before Admiral Loskene could say anything Lt. Johnson took the Jefferson to warp. Admiral Loskene could only smile and head towards his ready room. Matt couldn't help but smile, the Lt. like everyone wanted this mission to end. They had been under threat of annihilation too much for their taste. "How long till we reach Polnar?" Matt asked. "If we go to Warp 8 we will get there in an hour and a half," Lt. Johnson said smiling at Matt. Matt then turned to Commander Matthews pleading to let them. "Yeah why not," Commander Matthews said. "Going to Warp 8," Lt. Johnson reported. The mood of the bridge staff and most likely the entire Jefferson crew became that of playfulness. They were talking among themselves and no one cared. Matt knew that every man, women, or being aboard the Jefferson deserved it. “Commander Reynolds you have the bridge,” Commander Matthews said as he got up and headed towards the turbolift. “Aye sir,” Matt said as he headed towards the big chair. “By the way Commander I thought, I was going to hear a report from you,” Commander Matthews said before he stepped into the turbolift. Matt nodded and sat down with a wide grin on his face. The next hour went by quickly to everyone’s liking, everyone was happy to see the Ambassador’s of Polnar leave the ship. “Commander we are being hailed by the Polanites,” Lt. Johnson reported. “Open channel,” Matt ordered. “Welcome Jefferson, we are happy to see that you are back with our delegation,” the Polanite said. “Yes I bet you are,” Matt said,” we will transport them in a matter of minutes.” The screen quickly went blank and surely enough the next minute it was reported that the Ambassador’s were no longer on board. “How about we go back home?” Lt. Daya said to everyone on the bridge. Everyone cheered him on and Matt could only say. “Lt. you know what to do,” Matt said as the Jefferson headed towards the Assailant at maximum warp. "Gladly sir," Lt. Johnson said. To be honest Matt couldn't wait for a little bit of time off. He would want to know how is old instructor's were doing, buy some useless trinkets and best of all were civilian clothes. Couple hours laterThe bridge of the Jefferson was waiting in anticiapation. They would be getting close enough to the Assailiant in a matter of seconds. They wanted to hear those four beautiful words. "Assailiant this is the Jefferson, we will be docking in a matter of minutes," Matt said noticing that the Captain or first officer were still not there. Helm quickly recieved their docking orders and everyone heard. "Welcome back home Jefferson."

Off: Well although I have not been here during the whole mission i have to say i enjoyed this j/m with the crew of the Jefferson and I’d like to thank you for it As soon as Lieutenant Johnson said that the Jefferson had acknowledged their message Mr. Gonto pressed the engage button and the Victory jumped to warp. In a few hours they'd be at the Baltorian home world and then they'll be on their way to Assaillant and the end of an adventure he thought. "Mr. Owen, run a scan on our missing crewmembers and see if they have returned yet.", Felix said "Aye sir"; Owen responded as he began the scan While waiting for the results Felix once more looked at Tiffani who was resting in her seat, he smiled in a sort of a gentle way and looked back at Owen. "Sir, all crew is on board and accounted for, seems like the creature was telling the truth", he said "Excellent Mr. Johnson", Felix said --A few hours later-- "Sir, we are entering the Baltorian system", Gonto informed, "Dropping to impulse", he added "Excellent", Felix said, "Take us into orbit, nice and easy", he added "Aye, sir", Gonto replied A few moments later they received a message from the Baltorian home world: "Sir, incoming transmission from the Baltorians", Owen announced "On screen, lieutenant", Felix said "A happy return to you, crew of the Victory", the man who appeared on screen said, "It is most unfortunate that our negotiation did not go as planned, but perhaps it is for the best", he said, "I am transmitting the beam down coordinates for the ambassador, good luck Victory crew and thank you for everything", the Baltorian said before he closed the channel "Mr. Johnson, transmit the coordinates to the transporter room", Felix said "Aye, sir, transmitting"; he said "I'll be down in the transporter room"; Felix said as he got up from his seat, "Cmdr. Rylka, you have the bridge", he said as he went to the turbolift After a short ride he arrived to the transporter room just in time to escort the ambassador. "Ambassador"; he said to the man who was about to step on the transporter pad, "Ah commander, well i would still like to thank you for the help you offered"; the ambassador said as he extended a hand to Felix Felix took his hand and shook it, "Any time ambassador, if your people ever need any help, the federation will be there to assist you", he said as the ambassador went to the transporter pad "Good luck, commander, and may all your voyages be safe"; the ambassador said as Felix nodded to the transporter chief to beam him of Once the ambassador was transported off, Felix returned to the bridge. "Mr. Gonto, set course for Starbase Assaillant, warp 9", he said "Aye sir, setting course"; the helmsman replied "Engage"; Felix said as he sat down in his chair. And within moments the Victory C jumped to warp and continued on its way towards Starbase Assaillant and the much needed R'n'R. Off: Ok Victory crew, with this post I pretty much call the mission finished so we will return to our own board, of course you are all welcome to do one last closing up post. And I’d like to thank the Jefferson crew for their hospitality once more and for letting us post for this joint mission on their board.

T'Val stood still slightly behind the command chair, still resting her hand on the back rest of the seat. Slightly annoyed, she watched as Loskene walked off to his readyroom. She wasn't happy with te fact that he seemed to be overtaxing himself, even though he was well on his way to recovery.
~if he collapses again, we will have to start all over again~ she thought ~and then he will not recover this easily~
Yet she was pleased to hear that he was going to take shore-leave once they got to Assaillant. In fact, she had planned to insist that he would take shore-leave. She knew she too would be taking a few days leave, she was aching to see her husband and son again, even though she would never admit to that fact.
Of course, she already knew that her husband was up to his usual mischief; Yade had already informed her, as the green firelizard - which had taken up her usual perch on her shoulder again - was in constant rapport with Tedak's brown Nut.
The Vulcan healer sighed audibly, as she gazed after the commanding officer. "Commanding officers make the worst patients," she muttered to herself, then turned to Matthew. "With your permission, I shall pick up Rayna and then get back to work in sickbay." She nodded towards the readyroom door. "Please make sure he does not get excited," she pleaded with the first officer, though her expression never changed.

Daya smiled, he was as happy as he could be. Not having spent much time on the Jefferson, he already had some of the systems down to an art. What ever system he had to deal with anyway.
“How about we go back home?” Lt. Daya said to everyone on the bridge. The sound of everyone cheering brought an even bigger smile to his face.
'maybe if i'm lucky, i can get to know some of them while on the star base' Daya thought as he stood at his post.

OFF: Well, I would say that this is a good place to end it. I would like to thank both crews for an interesting and enjoyable Joint Mission. We'll have to do it again, sometime.
