JP between Dr. Lorenz (Loskene) and Dr. Eviston
Lorenz opened his eyes and was met with a sudden headache. Everything was blurry and unrecognizable. It was dark and he could make out the shape of a head or two nearby. He began to groan in pain and tried to stand up, but was met with a bout of dizziness. He began to feel nauseous... His stomach quivered and growled and his throat began to close up. He tried to hold the vomit but to no avail. After the unpleasant experience, he began to feel slightly better, but his stomach now ached and he fell to his knees, weakened... Someone (Billi) walked over to him and leaned him against a bulkhead. His breath was short as he eyed the doctor weakly. He tried to speak but was too weak.
Billi knelt next to Lorenz and took the medkit from Rayna.
"Hang in there doc." She opened the kit and pulled out the tricorder before turning to Rayna. "Watch the door." she ordered as she flipped open the tricorder. She tried to make Lorenz as comfortable as she could and assess his injuries while working to create a feedback loop in the tricorder which if caught could be read and located by them if they saw it.
The doctor examined Lorenz. There was some bruising on his back and his face was a bit bloodied. Apart from that and some other minor injuries, no permanent damage. The doctor was searching for other injuries, for Lorenz looked seriously ill. "I-I- I haven't taken my medication yet, today...Who are you? And where am I? I feel terrible...
Lorenz knew that without his medication, it would only be a matter of time before he experienced severe pain and eventually organ failure. He would not let the medical doctor know, for all he knew, she could have been his captor and could learn his weakness.
Billi frowned. “My name is Billi Eviston, I’m the CMO from the USS Jefferson.” She said as both she and Rayna worked on the doctor, caring for his wounds and keeping him comfortable while she talked. “Who are our captors?” she asked as she tapped the tricorder keypad, beginning the feedback loop.
"Our captors? How am I supposed to know! I just got here!" Lorenz exclaimed.
"Ah, this damn headache. Where the hell are we? I need to get back down to the planet!"
Lorenz began pacing back and forth in the cell. The doctor approached him, attempting to calm him down.
"Out of my way! I'm trying to think!" Lorenz approached the bulkhead and began to pound on it in desperation.
"Gyahh! Let me out!
Lorenz began to feel light headed and slid down to the ground.
"It's too hot in here... Much too hot..."
Billi sat down next to Lorenz. "You have to calm down and relax. We'll get out of here but you have to be quiet, I can't have them coming back too soon." She was worried her signal would not be seen on the bridge and the longer the feedback loop could stay connected the better the chance of being found. She took a hypospray from the kit. "I am going to give you something to make you sleepy. If they think you can't be moved at least we'll all be together when we are found and not split up." She glanced up at Rayna hoping the coast was still clear and his outcry hadn't brought their captor back.
"NO YOU CAN'T! I don't want you drugging me! Just stay away from me! I see what's going on here....Oh yes. Oh yes. I see very clearly. You're going to drug me, give me some kind of truth serum...You're in league with the Romulan scum! I can see RIGHT through you!!! It's not going to work... What do you take me for? I am a scientist! You don't get into this field by acting like a naive fool!
Lorenz recoiled away from the doctor and began to pant frantically.
Billi put the hypospray away. It was useless right now to even try to talk to him. His yelling had obviously alerted the guards and their footfalls could be heard heading for the cell. “Quick Rayna, get over here.” she motioned for her to join her as she tucked the medkit and the tricorder in the corner away from them.
She stood up as the guards opened the door. “What is going on in here.” the lead one ordered. Billi got to her feet and stood between Lorenz, Rayna and their guards. “What are you going to do with us?” she demanded.
"Oh please! Is this some kind of bird brained attempt to make me believe that you aren't in cahoots with each other?? Well, you are certainly failing miserably! Well, you're little schemes sure are pathetic!"
"Shut your mouth!" the guard exclaimed. He tried to whack Lorenz but Billi stood in the way. The guard violently shoved Billi out of the way. She ended up whacking her arm and chest against a bulkhead. There was a loud cracking sound as she knocked into it, most likely a broken bone. Lorenz could tell that the pain was overwhelming for her. He winced at the sound. The guard ran over to the sitting Lorenz and picked him up by his shirt. The guard began to speak angrily through his teeth.
"They're not ready for you yet doctor. The surgeons are still preparing your torture. But something tells me by your continuous knocks that you wish to have it done sooner. It can certainly be arranged.
"N-No...Please...I don't know what you want! You haven't given me a chance to say anything!"
"Are you begging for your mercy, Doctor?? You wanna work a deal??"The guard spat angrily.
"I...What are you going to do to me???"
The guard grinned and released Lorenz from his grip, and Lorenz collapsed to the ground. The guard then left and Lorenz and Billi were both in extreme pain. He began to speak to Billi.
"I can't believe your colleagues would go through such violent means to make me believe that you were my ally...They have certainly reached a new low"
Billi pulled herself into a sitting position and bit back a cry as she tucked her obviously broken arm against her body.
“How the hell can you think I still work for them.” the pain and anger in her voice evident. She shook her head at Rayna.
“I’ll be alright.” She lied … and not well. Billi groaned and closed her eyes as a wave of pain washed over her. She glared at Lorenz. “I can’t believe you.” She leaned her head against the bulkhead and watched him growing silent. “You do realize they plan on killing all of us right?”
Lorenz sat back with his head against the bulkhead.
"They can't kill me...They need me. If you're not in league with them, you'll be the first to die. They need my knowledge. They need me. All the factions do. In order to expand their space and territory and dominance, they need planets. Quickly. It takes years to terriform a planet. They know I have the methods and the intelligence to make the process a whole lot quicker. They've been waiting for this opportunity ever since they got word of the Genesis research project. With my help the Romulans will be thrown into a civil war, which will no doubt sooner or later involve the Federation. I must get out of here. You have to protect me...Or let me die. I shouldn't last more then a day at this rate... My assistant-
Lorenz stopped talking in fear that his trust was being compromised.
Billi was blustering with pain and anger. “I WAS trying to help you, you are the one who decided NOT to trust me.” she stopped and groaned shifting position. “How the hell can I protect you if you fight me.” She managed to get out before she slumped against the bulkhead.
“The whole reason I am here is to keep you alive, they kidnapped me right from Sickbay. Kidnapped US from sickbay and my other patients to what, come here and keep you .. Alive, for them.” Her voice strained. She reached up to adjust her arm and when she pulled it away, her fingers were damp, covered with her own blood.
"Who am I kidding? You can't protect me. You're injured. It's too late...for any of us. I must die. They can't be allowed to torture me. You will have to kill me...
At that moment they heard footsteps approaching.
"Damn it, kill me now! There's too much at stake!
Billi stood up and fought the wave of nausea which swept over her. “You know something Doc, I’d kill you myself for whining. If you want this to end. Help yourself dammit.” she brushed off Rayna when she tried to help her. “Stay behind me Rayna. They will have to kill me first before I let them take either of you.” It was time for her to show her true colors, even wounded she wasn’t going to go down without a fight. She bit her lip and waited for their captors to open the door.
The footsteps came further and a figure entered. It was a large Reman.
"Dr. Lorenz. It is time. You're coming with me. Resist and I won't hesitate to add to your pain.
"No! You stay away from me!"
Lorenz backed off to the back of the cell and the Reman approached him. Billi limped over behind the Reman and kicked him in his shin. The Reman was in slight pain but was impressed at her strength. He turned to her and stepped up to her. She attacked him again and he began to fight back. A small fight followed. Billi was injured but she could still fight fairly well. The Reman enjoyed the combat and was engrossed in it. Suddenly from behind both of them, a green disruptor burst flew by the Reman and struck Billi in the chest. The Reman turned around and growled angrily.
A Romulan or a member of one of the Romulan sects entered, his disruptor smoking.
"Grr...How dare you interrupt?!
"We don't have time for stupid little fights. You Remans may live for these little brawls but for us duty comes first. Your methods are inefficient."
The Reman stood very near the Romulan, towering over him.
"Hrmmmm! The instant this ordeal is over and when this alliance ends, I will show you just how "little" these brawls can be!"
"You think you are in a position to make threats!? If I were you, I'd advise you to rethink you're words and actions...
Now get him and bring him with us. It's time to find out what he knows!
The Reman advanced past the injured Billi and scooped up Lorenz.

OOC: it wasn't really clear that the remans wre still on the bridge- To me, th post read liek they had gone with the Romulans.....
IN: Jeff sat in his office, locikign out every system he could think of from the bridge, but giving it the appearance of functionality. All the controls were in Engineering now, and the Remans on the bridge would nave no contol, but the computer would make it seem like they had control.
"Bless Holodeck simulators..." Jeff muttered. "Now what?.... Pudlo to any seinior officers not on the bridge."
"There are none within hailing range." the computer replied.
"Computer, locate Doctor Eviston."
"The Doctor is not on the vessel at this time." damn. "Computer, who is on the bridge?"
"RA Loskene, Comm. Matthew, Lt. Daya....."
"names only please."
"matt Reynolds, Alexander Johnston..." the computer listed names Jeff didn't know. "And two Reman life form readings."
Jeff sighed. Everybody on the senior staff but him was either on the bridge or missing. He walked out of the office, and opened up a comm chanel to the entire ship.
"This is Cheif Engineer Lt. Commander Jeffery Pudlo. As of this moment, The rest of the Seinior staff is being held hostage. I feel I must inform you of this. Pudlo out." for now.

ooc: ouch @ blue and red! Warning, long post!
The Reman advanced past the injured Billi and scooped up Lorenz.
"Leave him alone!" Rayna screamed as she darted forward. It was obvious that they had forgotten about her during the brawl, but she wasn't going to let these Romulans take a patient away. She raked her nails of the nearest Romulan's face, who recoiled and screamed with anger and pain.
With a satisfied smile, Rayna spotted the scratch marks while she took hold of the rod that had been concealed under her tunic. She jabbed it at her attacker's side; her weapon was so unique, not many Romulans or Remans knew of it's existance, to them it would look like and work like any ordinary piece of wood. The Romulan in question collapsed, but the next one struck Rayna across her face, sending her flying against the bulkhead.
The Romulan woman gasped for air as wind was knocked out of her lungs, but she recovered quickly. Yet she was too late to prevent the Romulan from taking the injured male doctor. Now that they were alone again, Rayna crept over to Billi and gently touched her uninjured arm. "Let me look," she said, her voice having changed from a menacing tone to one of compassion. Gently, she removed the CMO's hands that were folded over the injury and she shook her head in dismay. "You're lucky," she assured her friend, "it could've been worse, "now, I am going to strip you of your tunic to have a look at your arm. I'm afraid that when I'm done you won't be able to wear that tunic anymore so I hope you weren't too attached to it?"
Rayna smiled encouragingly at Billi, hoping to coax a smile out of the injured human doctor. While she was talking, she ripped the fabric of the tunic, and carefully removed it. Next she removed her own tunic and ripped it into strips as well. "This may hurt," she cautioned, as she suddenly pulled at her left arm, holding one hand at her shoulder and the other at her elbow. She saw the doctor pale visibly, but she continued what she was doing. She picked up her Agiel and placed it alongside Billi's upper arm. Since neither end of the rod were touching the woman, it shouldn't hurt her. Finally she finished by securing the rod to the arm by wrapping the strips of cloth around it.
Once she was done, Rayna used the remaining fabric to tend to the wound in the doctor's chest. "Don't move," she instructed as she worked, "this is going to be bedrest for you doctor." She smirked at her friend, trying to be humourous in a dire situation.
<Billi/any other romulan> ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hanaj glared down at Johnson, but didn't stop anyone from tending to the gravely injured officer. "You may tend to him," he finally consented, "but you will do so here, with the means you have." He briefly disappeared, then came back with one of the emergency medical kits that were stored on the bridge, and tossed it at Johnson. "Make sure that he doesn't die."
Next he concentrated on the admiral again. "I'm sure you're wondering by now why we've intercepted you," he started, "you are here to rescue a certain doctor. You have come too late."
<Loskene/Johnson> ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Something happened out there, the crying out of your friends here is what caught my attention."
Tedak nodded tiredly, though his mind was much clearer now than it was before. "They are very loyal creatures," he agreed, then took a closer look at the girl. She had spots running down the side of her face, yet she seemed able to talk to his firelizards. who generally weren't the best of friends towards strangers. Then he recalled her uttering his name in a questioning manner.
"Do please accept my apollogies for my rudeness," he said next and motioned to the chair the CMO had occupied only minutes if not hours earlier. "I am Ambassador Tedak, Romulan representative to the Federation, and you have met my two loyal friends. I'm afraid that I don't really know what happened here in sickbay as the good doctor was keeping me drugged for some obscure reason."
He winked at her, with a sly smile on his face. "I think she relishes in the power she has over her patients." Then the smile disappeared just as quickly. "My friend Rayna is also missing, and it appears that Romulans have taken over the ship." He took a moment to repeat his thoughts to the chief of security as the young man came over asking a few questions. Then he turned back to Rin. "And it seems the senior staff is being held hostage. Perhaps we could offer our assistance; have you any experience with hostage situations?"
<Rin>
"This is Cheif Engineer Lt. Commander Jeffery Pudlo. As of this moment, The rest of the Seinior staff is being held hostage. I feel I must inform you of this. Pudlo out."
Tedak frowned and rubbed his eyes with his right hand; the left was still bandaged and secured in a sling. "Well, that is that," he muttered, "it confirms what we thought was going on. Any suggestions?"

Billi didn't even have time to cry out as the beam hit her, sending searing pain through her ... then blackness. Her body slumping to the floor. She groaned as Raynas voice breaking through the pain which seemed to fill her whole being, it wasn't just her arm any longer, it was everywhere. "Let me look," Billi moaned as Rayna looked over the wound. "You're lucky,"She managed to whisper. "Lucky? You call this lucky?" She bit her lip as Rayna continued. "It could've been worse, now, I am going to strip you of your tunic to have a look at your arm. I'm afraid that when I'm done you won't be able to wear that tunic anymore so I hope you weren't too attached to it?"All Billi did was shake her head, it hurt to much to talk. Each breath itself sent spasms of pain through her. "This may hurt," Rayna said as she straightened her arm, pulling the arm, forcing the bone ends to align and proceeded to wrap the wound, which was still bleeding freely and place her weapon against the arm, strapping it there as a splint. Billi smiled slightly at that. "Hurt .. no it tickles.." she whispered through clenched teeth. She lay back, her eyes closing as Rayna attended to the wound on her chest, "Don't move," she instructed as she worked, "this is going to be bedrest for you doctor." Billi grew silent, her breath rasping as she fought the continued pain which came in waves from both her chest and her arm. "Rayna, Don't let me fall asleep. I can't afford to loose consciousness." Billi groaned out. "Get me that tricorder." motioning with her good arm, which caused her to cry out with the movement. Her whole body in agony. "I have to try to increase the signal so they'll find us."~~**~~**~~ Rin looked up as the man in the bed spoke, smiling slightly. Her attention drawn between him and his winged friends. She picked up the two small dragons and sat down in the offered chair listening as he spoke, placing them in her lap. "I am Ambassador Tedak, Romulan representative to the Federation, and you have met my two loyal friends. I'm afraid that I don't really know what happened here in sickbay as the good doctor was keeping me drugged for some obscure reason." he said quietly. "My name is Rin, I was sent to meet you." Rin replied as her fingers stroked the two creatures gently. She knew there would be a dozen questions regarding that alone and let out a sigh, her gaze falling from the man in the bed to the dragons in her lap. Rin looked up as the Chief of Security appeared with more questions. She was confused. Rin had seen the doctor just briefly before being put in quarentine and had been on her way to see her when she felt the contact from the two small dragons. She looked back at the Ambassador as he spoke to her again. "And it seems the senior staff is being held hostage. Perhaps we could offer our assistance; have you any experience with hostage situations?" She frowned and replied. "No sir, I do not. But I have had some training in diplomacy and am willing to aid however I am needed.." Rin stood, placing the two small dragons next to the Ambassador, smiling slightly as they crooned and showed him affection. Inside Rins stomach was nothing but a large knot. She'd spent most of her time on the ship alone, and suddenly was pushed into a situation where she knew she would not have control. But perhaps she could put her past behind her and start out on the right foot for a change. She swallowed and spoke to both the Security guard and the Ambassador. "What can I do to help?"

Rayna didn't smile as she picked up the tricorder, but she didn't hand it to the CMO. "You're in no condition to operate it," she said, "tell me what to do, and I'll do it. I've got two healthy hands remaining to operate this. And if I hold it continuously, it may even appear as though I'm constantly scanning you. For all they know, you may have internal injuries that I am keeping an eye on."
The Romulan woman sat close to her friend's side and they continued conversation in low voices. Rayna would have preferred if Billi didn't talk so much and would save her strength, as she was still losing blood, but she didn't quite like complete silence either.
Both women looked up when a bloodied person was shoved back in the cell with them and Rayna knew it was the other doctor. She scurried over to him, and waved the tricorder over his body. "He's unconscious, but alive," she reported, after the two guards had left them alone once more, "he's suffering several hairline fractures of his ribs, and a severe concussion."
<billi>
ooc: Daya, could you please respond to the "how can I help" from Rin? ít's getting a bit one-sided and I'd love for others, if not with an NPC, to butt in there.....a rescue would be nice too?

Billi bit her lip and nodded. She hurt, and knew her condition wasn't good. If ... IF they made it out of wherever they were Rayna was right, it would be bedrest and then some for her. Billi managed to whisper instructions on how to boost the signal as the door opened and Lorenz was dumped into the room with them again.
"Keep him warm and comfortable Rayna." Billi ordered, "There isn't a lot we can do for him here." In the back of her mind she was cussing whoever had tactical on the bridge, she knew her signal had to be seen and if it wasn't they all were as good as dead. She went quiet and her body relaxed as she slipped into unconsciousness.
OFF: Hey guys, please rescue us or the cute doctor might die, *doesn't think Matt or Tedak would like that much*, Bridge folks, lets kick some butt and see the signal.... *begging* .. please.

Hanaj was starting to enjoy this little game; he knew his statement had gotten the admiral curious and he also knew the admiral wasn't giving him the satisfaction of showing his surprise and curiosity. While keeping his gaze and mind locked on Loskene, he addressed Johnson. "If you want your crewmate to live, you had better start taking care of him," he snapped, "he is losing a lot of blood right now, and you have not the means to replace it until we're through with you. "
The Reman shot Loskene a twisted smile as he motioned for his collegue to keep the small group of senior staff at bay. The admiral had refused to sit down when he had been explicitly told to do so, and now Hanaj was forced to do something about it. It wouldn't be an easy task, in fact it would be draining his strength, but in the end Hanaj knew from experience that the result would be worth the fatigue ten times over, if not more.
"You are disobeying me," he said menacingly, as he took a step towards the admiral, taking hold of the man's face. ~and disobedience means punishment~ he thought, as he sent waves of extreme discomfort to the man. From his mind, he learned that the man had been at the hands of Romulan torture before, and Hanaj smiled evilly. He knew he could work with this information.
<loskene take it anywhere:)>
ooc: someone please save matt? also, Hanaj can be killed, but only by loskene please. I have something in mind on how.

"I'm doing the best I can!" said Alexander through clenched teeth.
He worked for many more minutes on Reynolds, until he was convinced he had done all he could. He had managed to stop some of the damage, but Reynolds desparately needed to get to sickbay. All Alex had done was buy him a few more minutes.
Alex turned to see Loskene being menaced by Hanaj. Alex knew that Hanaj was attacking him telepathically as well as physically.
<Loskene>
OOC: Billi, we're not really in a position to help you at the moment, but as soon as the Reman thugs are out of the way, you're our top priority.

Kristin's POV
Scene: Primary Computer Core Control, Deck 6, USS JEFFERSON
Things were hectic all over the ship. The loss of their senior staff was a real blow to everyone and now Kristin was one of the most senior officer's not currently hostage. Kristin quickly had made her way to the computer core hoping to block out the intruders on the bridge, but she had been to late for the navigation, operations, and some other non important systems. She with the work of some of the science teams blocked them out of their command codes, tactical, and deflector control.
"I need those systems blocked ASAP," Kristin said as she ran hectically around the core. There were only four of them, so they would have to multitask.
"Commander tactical and deflector control is blocked, but we can't block the codes," the crewman reported trying in vain to block them.
"Okay I will try," Kristin said as she made her way towards the main controls. She worked without thought on the controls. There was no way that she could get into the codes, so she did the next best thing. She cut off all systems from the command codes. This way they would not be able to use them.
"Computer are all command codes disabled?" Kristin asked.
"Negative."
"Who's command codes are still active?" Kristin asked again.
"Admiral Loskene, Commander Matthews, and Commander Reynolds." Kristin couldn't do anything about that so she left the core and headed towards engineering where command should now be.
Scene: Main Engineering, Deck 11, USS JEFFERSON
"Who's in charge?" Kristin asked entering engineering.
"Commander Pudlo is," an engineer said.
"Do you know where he is?" Kristin asked getting a bit annoyed.
"I'm right behind you Commander," Pudlo said.
"Commander do we have a plan to rescue our crew members that were teleported off the ship?" Kristin asked.
<Tag Pudlo>
----------------------------------- Caleb's POVScene: Matt's quarters, Deck 7, USS JEFFERSONCaleb didn't know what was going on. All he was that the ship had gone to red alert. Caleb quickly started to worry once Matt failed to contact him. It was Matt's practice to contact him three minutes after the claxons went off and it hit Caleb that he relied on Matt for so much.
"Computer where is Matt Reynolds?" Caleb asked hoping that nothing was wrong.
"Matt Reynolds is on the bridge."
"Why doesn't he contact me?" Caleb asked of the computer.
"Please restate the question."
"What is the status of Matt?" Caleb asked getting really worried as every second passed. Caleb almost asked the question realizing that it might of been to general.
"Matt is in critical condition."
"What no, he's dieing," Caleb said letting out the tears," he's going to leave me like my mom and dad did."
Caleb cried for a couple of minutes, but being who he was knew that he had to try. Matt had promised to never leave him and he expected that promise to be up held. The only person he knew could get him out of the bridge was Kristin and he would need to find her quickly.
He didn't have a commbadge, so he would have to mess with the computer. He already knew that communications weren't working so if he found her he would have to go and find her.
After about ten seconds, he found her and quickly memorized the location.
Scene: Main Engineering, Deck 11, USS JEFFERSON
Caleb ran until he could run no more and lucky for him it was inside of engineering.
"Caleb honey you can't be hear," Valerie, Caleb's teacher said going to him.
"Valerie where is Kristin?" Caleb asked. Caleb saw that the name didn't ring a bell with her and so asked again. "Commander Hope, where is she?""I am right here Caleb," Kristin said coming up to him even though she was clearly busy. "Kristin you got to get Matt out of the bridge, he's dieing Kristin he’s dieing and if we don't get him to the doctor he will die," Caleb said sobbing. Someone to the side of both of them checked their systems and Caleb's information was quickly verified. "Can you get him out?" Caleb asked almost pleading.
Kristin looked at her controls and knew that they could only transport one person at a time. If she transported Matt to sickbay, the Remans would change the shields and no one else could be saved. Kristin hoped that she was doing the best thing and went with the transport.
"Okay he's there," Kristin said hoping that she had the right thing. "Thanks Kristin," Caleb said as he ran towards sickbay. ------------------------------ Kristin's POV
Scene: Main Engineering, Deck 11, USS JEFFERSONKristin didn't know if she had done the right thing, but she had to do something.
"Commanders we are receiving a message," a crewman reported.
"I thought that Commander Reynolds, had blocked all communications," Kristin said.
"He did, but this transmission is so faint, its almost like Morse code," the crewman responded.
"Where is it coming from?" Kristin asked.
"A ship, its right next to us."
"Okay, I will have to do this quickly," Kristin said as she went to work. Luckily for her Commander Pudlo had brought all commands here and so she could do her work. With the help of the message sent to them, Kristin pin pointed as best she could to get their people back.
"Guys we only get one chance for this so wish me luck," Kristin said as she activated the transporter. The Romulans shouldn't be able to tell that a transport was taking place so it would give them some time until they returned. Hopefully by then they would be ready for them. Kristin held her breath until the process was entirely done and once it was she ran all the way towards sickbay.
Kristin's body broke the threshold of sickbay's doors in record time and she saw the new ship's doctor getting helped up to a bio bed. The holographic doctor was operating on Commander Reynolds, while a nurse prepped the doctor for surgery. <Tag everyone> OCC: Okay guys, I saved Matt and Billi because we don’t want to die. I only saved Billi off the Romulan ship, so not to mess with the Dr. Lorenz storyline. I also did this to move things along a bit, so please be gentle if I made you mad and I’m more than happy to change some things. Oh and on a personal note thanks Alex for giving me a few more minutes. If it wasn't for you I don't think the EMH could of saved me, but then again I don't know yet.

OOC: Lol, no problem.
---------------
On the bridge, Alex was still pondering the situation, when, to his surprise, Matt disappeared in the blue shimmer of a transporter beam.
This distracted Hanaj from Loskene. He let go and strode towards Alex and shouted, "What did you do?"
Alex, who knew that Hanaj knew that he couldn't have done anything and who was very annoyed by this time said, "Go to hell!"
Hanaj picked up his disruptor rifle and hit Alex across the face with it, sending him to the floor.
"So, you cannot control your people, Admiral?" said Hanaj in anger, moving back over to Loskene.

"Commander do we have a plan to rescue our crew members that were teleported off the ship?"
"Lt, we don't even know where they are. Now if you don't mind, we have some critical issues to tend to., Including the Bridge personnel. Unfortunately, we don't know where they are, and we can't take drastic actions without them knowing that they aren't in control. suppose the deck pitches beneath them when they think they're calmly orbiting? They would catch on real fast, and even if the controls are down here, there are still a few things up there that they could use to do serious damage. However, I could open a path through the ship lock-down for a transporter beam if you could do it."
Kristen nodded and walked away, as Mrak and a Security Lt. jg walked up.
"Gerry, who is this?"
"This would be Marcus Strong, he's the ranking security officer."
"Excellent. Mr. Strong, I need your assistance. We're going to get the bridge back. Please come with me." Jeff took him through the network of Jeffries tubes until they reached the turbolift maintenance room.
"What are we doing here?" Strong asked.
"Building us a safe transport to the bridge." Jeff walked over and called up the newest car. That had taken on some new ones at starbase, and one of these came into the repair bay. It landed on a trolley, and wheeled it's way over to them. Jeff opened the doors, and pointed at them.
"I need that covered by a one way shield. I want to be able to fire out of it, without being hurt."
"I can install that kind of equipment, but it'll take time and command authorization."
"Right now, I am in command. Per general order 104, section A. 'In the case that The captain shall be unable to carry out his duties, the responsibilities of command shall fall first on the First officer, then the determined second officer, then through the senior staff, and afterwords by department command, beginning with the ranking command officer, followed by the ranking engineering officer, followed by the ranking Security officer, followed by the ranking Medical officer. if no Officers are available, then command shall then fall on the highest enlisted crew-member, with seniority dictating in cases of equal rank.' I am in command, according to the chain of command as applies here."
Strong walked over to the replicator, and ordered the parts that he needed. "Command code required." the computer monotoned.
"Pudlo Alpha Omega 89 Zeta" Jeff stated.
"Identity verification needed."
"Voice-print."
"confirmed." the parts materialized.
"Now then, let's get to work. If we have the time, we'll do a second so we can send up two teams."
Strong half smiled and put the parts on a trolley.
OOC: Don't worry guy's, you'll be out of there soon enough. or rather, the remans will.

i apologize for my tardybess y'all, i was unable to get my computer for awhile, so yeah. And jeff, i was also not on the bridge, just so you know.
Uh where to start?
"Rin, you said your name was? right now i dont what you can do, i dont know what I can do right now, give me a sec." Daya's mind raced as he thought of mutilple plans that all seemed to go wrong at the last second.
Daya looked up as he heard Jeff's ship wide comm mesage, he knew that together the two of them could do something to help, and he had to go to engineering.
"Rin, see if you can help the ambassador in anyway, if not i want you to establish some kind of connection to the bridge, i need to be able to know whats going on. I'm going to find Jeff"
Daya left the room and found the nearest turbolift, taking it straight to engineering. When he stepped in he didnt see Jeff anywhere, "Where is the cheif engineer?" he asked a nearby ensign, " He went down the jeffries tube with a security Lt."
"great, now i gotta climb down to find him" Daya said softly as he started making his way towards Jeff. "Jeff, you in here?" he asked as he got to end, looking around. The turbolift maintenace room was not excalty the place Daya wanted to be right now.
OCC once again, i'm sorry for not being able to post. also, i should inform you all that i will be transfering tot he academy to become the CTSO instructor on the Hanson, my very own training vessel, i do wish that i would be able to finish this thread, but i dont know just yet

(This is a combination post for Billi and Rin, hope it doesn't confuse people too much but it's easier given all the activity in sickbay at the moment to just include both characters and incorporate everything.)Billi was gasping for breath and slowly slipping into unconsciousness as the beam grabbed her and yanked her out of her private hell and into the brightly lit sickbay. She could feel her body being lifted by eager hands and hear anxious voices around her but could not distinguish where she was or who they were. Sickbay was a flurry of activity with the sudden transport and appearance of both Commander Reynolds and AE Eviston. Medics moving quickly to get the two on biobeds and stablized. Both would require surgery and quickly if they were going to be saved. One set of medics encircled the biobed containing the Commander, their first job to stop the bleeding from his wound and then stablize his biosigns. They finally stablized him with little trouble and got him settled in a nearby room. At the same time a second team went to work on Billi who was much worse off. She had a compound fracture of her right arm between the shoulder and the elbow and had lost a lot of blood as a result of it, it appeared as if a major blood vessel had been severed. She was in shock, the blast from the Romulan disruptor having done severe damage to her chest outwardly burning it and internally causing major damage. They worked quickly to stop the bleeding as well as bring her vitals back to somewhere near normal. She slipped in and out of consciousness as the team worked on her, her mind barely registering what was going on. They wheeled her into surgery once her vitals were stable. During all the activity in the main part of sickbay Rin was talking to Ambassador Tedak and Lieutenant Daya. All three moving to the main area of sickbay when it became apparant that there had been a rescue of some sort. Billi was kept under heavy sedation and secluded from the rest of sickbay once she exited surgery. Her body still in need of rest and more work. Due to the extent of her injuries they were going to have to let her arm heal naturally so she would have to be kept still and sedated for some time while the bones knitted. They hadn't dared put her under too deeply while in surgery, repairing the damage from the disruptor. (OFF: Ok guys, here is the deal, Billi isn't going to be doing much of anything and should be kept unconcious, drugged etc. Go ahead and use Rin as necessary over the weekend but this way Billi is safely out of action until Monday when I return. Matt, do whatever you want with your char, but I don't think he'll be doing much either. It's up to you of course. ... see you all on Monday!)

OOC:oops, didn't realize you weren't on the bridge....
"Daya, what are you doing here?" Jeff asked seeing Daya. "I thought you were on the bridge!"
"Nope, sickbay getting that DNA tested. It seems to be a moot point now..."
"Indeed. we're putting together a shield rig on two turbolift carts for an assault on the bridge. If you could get one more man, then we could do two to a car."
"And take out all forces on the bridge...." Daya smiled. "from perfect safety. I think I can manage a car alone."
"we'll make sure you're safe then..."
"yeah. What's the plan?"
"Strong and I will take the main entrance, looking out over all the bridge from the back. You go in the second car, and take out what you can see from there."
"I take it you weren't going to double up at first?"
"No, it's still dangerous." Strong jumped in. "Their phasers might knock out the shield and hurt somebody, so a second would be useful to get out. The ship is on lockdown..."
"yes, it sinks in when you have to use your security code every 50 meters or less...." Daya rolled his eyes. "i get what you're getting at, but the secondary entrance doesn't have the field of vision that the first does. it's in a small alcove..."
"Safer is what you're getting at, am I right?"
"yes."
"Right, you can go on your own.... Just promise not to die. I'm in technical command, which would make me responsible if you died. I don't want that."
Daya nodded and inspected the cars. the shields just needed covers at this point...
"let's do it." He said.
"put these on first." Jeff pulled out the covers.
"right." ---------- it took half a minute. Once they were on, Jeff routed them to the two boarding stations in the room. They had armed themselves with phasers, and each had a stun grenade if needed.
"Alright, let's open up the bridge." with that, the turbolifts were off. ---------
The doors opened to see a transporter beam - federation- sweep someone away. In their fury, the Romulan Group didn't even notice the turbolifts. finally, when one got too close to Loskene, Jeff gave the signal in the form of a heavy stun phaser beam. It hit the Remand near Loskene in the head. Strong and Daya's phasers took out 3 others quickly, with Jeff taking the romulan at Engineering. "lower the shield." Jeff told strong. It flashed off in an instant. Jeff promptly rushed out. Loskene was still in apparent anguish, though he was recovering. Everybody else was looking fit enough.
"Lt. Commander Jeffery Pudlo Returning command Sir." he said, nodding to Loskene.
"Thank you." the words were groggy and pained, but recognizable. "If Mr. Matthews could take the bridge, it would be a great relief to be able to relax..."
"understood. Daya, could you and Strong take these five to the Brig?"
"sure could!" Daya smiled in a threatening manner, loading them onto one of the turbolift cars.
"Sir, the condition of the ship- All controls are in engineering at the moment, and you're getting a holodeck pattern." Jeff walked to the commissioning plaque. He pulled it off. Behind it was an LCARS access. The bridge shimmered, and looked the same. But the ship's instruments immediately showed different displays. the master diagram showed lockdown barriers and was flashing Red. The red Alert sirens came on, and were promptly shut off. The red light continued to glow. "you can get accurate readings now." Jeff offered, sitting at his own station.

"sure could!" Daya smiled in a threatening manner, loading them onto one of the turbolift cars.
When the turbolift reached the brig, Daya and Strong roughly pushed in the five detainees, putting them all in a different cell. "Dont be getting any funny ideas now" Daya said as he smiled, leaning against a wall, watching the movement of the five prisoners.

ooc: I hope you didn't kill Hanaj, cause I specifically said that no-one but Loskene could kill him! Several times at that On the Romulan vessel, Rayna gave a startled gasp when Billi suddenly disappeared right before her eyes. As quickly as she could, she crept over to Lorenz, making sure he was as comfortable as she could get him under the circumstances. Ironically, with Billi's disappearance, she had also lost her only means of defense: her Agiel. "Everything will be all right doctor," she whispered at Lorenz, "now that the doctor's been rescued, I'm certain she'll alert the others soon enough. We'll be out of here soon. In the mean time, you should relax as much as possible, and I'll continue to do everything I can for you. You're suffering from internal bleedings, so you musn't try to move much." <Lorenz> ~~~~ Tedak and Rin exchanged a worried glance as Daya darted out of sickbay. Obviously things had excalated when Reynolds was beamed to sickbay. Yet when he caught sight of a severely wounded doctor Eviston, he gasped audibly. "Stay here," he told Rin, as well as his two firelizards, and with long strides walked over to Billi. "Billi?" he whispered at her, gently picking up her good hand, and holding it in his own good hand. "I'm so sorry," he whispered at her, "you shouldn't have stayed in sickbay for me. I really feel responsible." The Romulan felt someone tapping his shoulder and turned to look up at the EMH, who looked rather stern. "She needs rest, not company," he told him, "please leave. You may leave sickbay now, you're in my way." With a curt nod, Tedak turned to leave. "Doctor, let me know when she wakes up." He walked back into main sickbay. "Rin, we're going to have a little talk with these Romulans. Apparently they've been captured." ~~~ Hanaj woke with a terrible headache, only to find himself alone in a barren cell. "No!" he screamed, giving the nearest wall a vicious kick. Then he smiled; he didn't have to be near his victim, to be able to influence them. ~lower the shields~ he thought, easily finding Loskene's mind ~lower the shields and you won't be harmed. If you don't, you will find that I can be very unpleasant~ To his surprise, Hanaj's mind encountered resistance. He had known Loskene was a telepath, but intelligence had informed him that it was only a weak gift. ~lower the shields~ he insisted, knowing that by now the admiral would be experiencing extreme discomfort ooc: as I said: only Loskene can kill Hanaj, nobody else

Loskene was quite relieved that the hostage situation was over. He was emotionally and mentally injured by the experience. His head was pounding and his body felt tired from the pain which was inflicted upon him. In insistence, he had Matthews take command of the bridge. He started toward the turbolift, heading to sickbay. He slowed down and eventually stopped when he felt a strange presence in his head...
Loskene fell to the ground, ending up on his knees and cringed from the pain of the telepath. Loskene was on the verge of death until something in him forced him to resist. His eyes turned a glowing purple and he stood up.
NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! he shouted.
Loskene could see Hanaj clearly in his mind. Loskene picked up Hanaj with an invisible hand and violently tossed him about his cell, slamming him into the walls as if he were a rag doll. The guard watching over his cell became visibly worried and ran to his console, tapping his communicator.
Hanaj hollered in pain as his body was being pulverized. For lack of a better word, it felt as if he was being tenderized.
=^=This is Lieutenant Orson to the bridge! I uh- we have a situation down here! The prisoner is being attacked by er....something!=^=
Loskene continued his attack, showing no mercy nor compassion toward Hanaj. Loskene soon stopped, after feeling no life coming from Hanaj.
Loskene, weakened, turned around to the bridge staff.
Loskene: Hanaj is dead. I... He must have died from some sort of synaptic overload when he melded with my mind. Now... I must be headed to sickbay...Good luck.
Loskene left the bridge and into the turbolift. He was somewhat surprised at himself, as he was not the type who was easily angered, nor did he kill often. He was disturbed by what he did, but tried to convince himself that Hanaj's death was just. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Lorenz and Rayna...
Lorenz: It doesn't matter anymore...They know what they need to know. I tried to resist them...I tried....But they-they were just too powerful...Much too powerful. I told your friend that you should have killed me when you had the chance.
Lorenz began to cough violently and he wouldn't stop.
Lorenz: mm khmm! khmm! ach! ahem...ahack!
Rayna: What is it??
Lorenz: I...I can't- I can't..... BREATHE!!!!
Rayna began to scan him with a tricorder.
Rayna: Your lungs are failing, and your heart isn't doing well either.
Lorenz: It's my medication.. I-ahem.....It's been hours since I had my last dose! It's a miracle I lasted this long. That, along with my internal injuries...It's only a matter of time...
Lorenz began to cough up nasty looking phlegm and Rayna tried to make him comfortable...
Lorenz: This is the end...But not just for me...

"Oh do lighten up," Rayna snapped, getting a little tired of the doctor's constant doom thinking, "they managed to rescue Doc Eviston, I have no doubt we'll be rescued also. Sooner rather than later I hope though." The Romulan woman sat besides the ill human on the bench, constantly trying to make him more comfortable.
She kept one eye on the monitors on her tricorder and found the readings rather worrysome. Since she had only one standard med-kit, she had to use the medications in them sparsely. It was fortunate that T'Val, and also Eviston had first taught her how to distinguish between the various medications within a med-kit. She rummaged around, carefully dealing with the glass vials containing the medications and finally held up a brightly pink coloured vial.
"This must help," she muttered, as she inserted the vial into the hypospray and keying in a low dosage. "I'm starting with a low dosage," she informed Lorenz, "it's an anti-asthma medication. I'm surprised that it's even in there but whatever deity you pray to must be watching over you, as here we have one." She pressed the hypospray against Lorenz's throat and released the medication into his bloodstream.
Glancing at the tricorder, she saw that it had some effect, but not quite the desired one. "Right," she muttered, and continued to rummage through the kit, until she found something else: epinephrine. She held up the vaguely yellow coloured vial. "This should increase your heartbeat and blood pressure," she said, then frowned, "though it would be better if we could give you a blood transfusion." She motioned at his bloodcovered clothing. "You seem to be losing an awful lot."
She smiled encouragingly at her patient. "But not to worry, we'll get you through this and safely to the Jefferson." ~come on~ she thought grimly ~get us out of here already~ Rayna fell silent when she heard footsteps outside their cell, and squinted against bright light as the door opened again. To her utter dismay they weren't after Lorenz this time, but instead yanked her to her feet. She lashed out with her feet and heard a satisfying crack as her heel made contact with the Reman's shin.
Yet when she felt something enter her mind, she fell down to her knees with an agonizing scream. She tried with all her might to block it out, as she had been taught during her training as interrogator, but she found it extremely difficult. At last, she looked up with a pained smile and found a surprised look was plastered on the Reman's face. "I am an interrogator," she spat, "I know all your tricks. Do your worst, you won't get anything from me. But beware, Starfleet will be upon you soon, and if you're caught, you may be lucky if you can tell the tale when they're through with you."
<Reman?>
~~~~
"Rin," Tedak motioned, as they both saw the commanding officer stagger into sickbay. With the CMO gravely injured, and the EMH working to save Reynolds' life, sickbay was short on helping hands. Together, the two diplomats moved in to assist Loskene to one of the biobeds and bade him to lie still as the diagnostic semicircle closed over his body. Monitors started beeping almost instantly, but the Romulan was at a loss as to how to proceed. He had never dealt with anyone of the admiral's species.
"Doc!" he called over at the EMH, "what do I do now? He isn't in too good a shape, honestly! If I didn't know better, I'd say he's on the brink of death!"
"It does not matter Romulan, I will hurt you until you tell me everything that I want to know," Habarj said laughing. The one thing that he loved more than anything were prisoners who gave him a fight. He would make them suffer, he would make them beg for death. This was his true and only pleasure.
"You think you can block my attacks," Habarj said," do you think he will survive if I do the same thing to him?"
"Him," Rayna spat at her captor, "he won't survive much longer. He's given up, he's dying no matter what efforts I go through at trying to save him. So you can threaten all you like, I'm not impressed,"
"Starfleet may try and save you, but if its the last thing I do I will watch you die, Rayna," Habarj said as he prodded her mind, causing her immense pain in the process. The room erupted in laughter, Habarj was enjoying himself to much to care about anything else.
After he finished laughing he was once again began the mental attacks on Rayna until her body spasmed into unconsciousness.
"Habarj we need you on the bridge, the Federation vessel is on a pursuit course."
Habarj gave Rayna's body a look of hatred and disgust. He almost wanted to end her pathetic life then and their but decided against it. He wanted to enjoy it.
"I'm on my way."
[When Billi first appeared in sickbay]Billi stirred, slipping once again to consciousness. A voice filtering through the pain the blackness ... "Billi?" "I'm so sorry," "you shouldn't have stayed in sickbay for me. I really feel responsible."Billi moaned, wanting to let him know it wasn't his fault. None of this was .. She slipped back into unconsiousness as the EMH placed the hypospray to her neck. ~~**~~**~~ Rin followed Tedak from Billis side to that of Loskene and aided in getting him in getting the Admiral settled. She was at an even bigger loss with all the activity that was going on. So much so quickly had her head in a whirl. ~~**~~**~~
[8 hours later/Billis private room]Billi stirred, moaning as she roused from her drugged sleep. As she opened her eyes, her good hand brushing against the small lump which seemed to be resting against her side, causing her to turn and smile slightly through the pain, one of Tedaks dragons laying beside her, the other on his lap, where he sat sleeping, his head back as if he'd fallen asleep while watching her. She hurt, there was no doubt about it, she'd been through hell and back again, or so she felt. Her arm lay resting atop a pillow, wrapped in what appeared to be cement (a modern - for us - cast). Her chest felt like she'd been stepped on by something large. It hurt to breath but at least she could. Her breaths shallow and slow. <Tag Tedak>
Scene: Sickbay, Deck 7, USS JEFFERSONFour hours after surgeryMatt's body was in a personal intensive care unit in sickbay. The Jefferson had about a dozen of theses rooms and right now they were being used by the three people, Matt, the doctor, and RA Loskene. Yet Matt's appearance was the one that changed the most. The weapon fire that took him close to the brink of death had scarred the surrounding skin tissue, which was taking a bit longer than usual to heal. The pain was almost unbearable, but the fact that he couldn't move was making it hell. Matt had awaken a couple of minutes ago and found that he was restrained. "Doctor, please help me," Matt said as his body began to sweat profusely. Unfortunately for Matt the doctor didn't come quickly enough, as a sharp pain began in his stomach. The scream that Matt gave out was bone chilling, and quickly got the attention of the medical staff. "Calm down, Commander the pain is temporary," the doctor said as he put a hypospray to his neck. The cool liquid quickly worked its magic and Matt's body quickly went numb. It was uncomfortable, but at least he didn't feel any pain. "Doctor, what happened to the ship?" Matt asked ignoring the pain as he spoke. "Commander Pudlo raided the bridge and saved the senior staff, and Commander Hope rescued Doctor Eviston from the Romulan shuttle, the Jefferson is currently after the shuttle where Rayna and Doctor Lorenz are currently being held," the doctor explained as he ran more scans on Matt. "Is there anything else?" Matt asked feeling as he wasn't being told the entire story. "I will not tell you anything else, Commander it will only hinder your healing process," the doctor said. "Commander I will be administering this drug on you, it will quicken the recovery process and will leave little scarring on your wound. The only problem is that it will cause great discomfort." "Go ahead doctor do your worse," Matt said trying to give a fake smile. The doctor once again applied a hypospray to his neck and the drug was into Matt's body. The only reason that Matt was not screaming in pain was the fact that the doctor placed a gag in his mouth. Their were tears falling down Matt's face and they kept falling until the pain passed. Once the pain passed all Matt could feel was a slight burning sensation in his body. The drug must be working, he thought. "Commander I will come back and check on you in a couple of hours," the doctor said," but it seems that you have a visitor already." Matt didn't know who he was talking about, but the next second he heard a flapping noise and it surprised him to see one of Tedak's dragons, Nut. "Hello, Nut, tell Tedak I'm really sorry and thank him for me," Matt said as he fell into a long sleep. <Tag anyone who wants to talk to me> OCC: Tedak I used Nut, because I can't really stay mad or hate anyone.
Tedak woke when cool air was fanned into his face, and a set of talons insistently pulled the front of his tunic. He smiled softly as he noticed his brown persistingly trying to pull him upright. He reached out with his good hand and gently petted the brown firelizard. "I'm awake Nut," he said, noticing the happy mood his loyal companion was in. "Ah so that's that then eh?" he continued his monologue with the firelizard, "well I'll talk to him later then."
Now that his companion had settled down, he gazed down on the injured CMO. "Feeling better?" he asked her, even though it was obvious that she was still in great pain. He didn't need to be a telepath to be able to see that. Gently, he squeezed her healthy arm. "Get some sleep," he whispered at her, "I'll leave Sev here, he'll come and get me if you need anything."
<Billi>
Sedately, the Romulan walked way and went to find the operations chief. "Good to see you back in the land of the living commander," he greeted, though not quite heartily, "you have the fire worthy a Romulan." Realizing that this might not have been such a wise statement, he forced a smile. "An honourable Romulan," he added, "not the sort that has resorted to this."
<Reynolds>
"I will come back when you feel better commander," Tedak continued after Reynolds' response, "I still have one more patient to attend to." With a polite nod, Tedak walked away and approached Loskene's bed. "Admiral, if you are feeling strong enough, I believe we should talk. This situation has escalated beyond my ability to negotiate. One of your crew is still missing, as is Doctor Lorenz, and I assume there are Romulans nearby. However, I believe the safety of this ship should be your primary concern. Rayna would understand this."
The Romulan tensed at the mention of his new friend's name and he truly worried about her. He had been visited by her friend from engineering, Nguyen earlier and the young man had expressed his profound worry to him, as diplomat. The Romulan hadn't been able to assure the young human but had promised to do everything he could. "Rayna is a strong woman, trained to be an interrogator. She would withstand their methods long enough, and I certain security is looking for a way to rescue her. However, right now the ship is in danger, and security compromised."
"Feeling better?" Ambassador Tedak asked her. Gently, he squeezed her healthy arm. "Get some sleep," he whispered at her, "I'll leave Sev here, he'll come and get me if you need anything."
Billi smiled a little as the small firelizard curled up in the crook of her cast, in easy reach of her good hand, which found its way down to caress the small creature. "I'll live Ambassador. .... I think." she replied. She groaned slightly as she shifted positions. "What about the others? Rayna? Dr. Lorenz?" She asked looking worried.
Her fingers caressing the small creature as she listened to the Ambassador and then watched him walk out of her room. She closed her eyes crooning softly to the small creature which nuzzled her good hand, in an effort to try to comfort her.
"What about the others? Rayna? Dr. Lorenz?" She asked looking worried.
"Now don't you worry about that doctor," Tedak said softly, surprisingly keeping the worry out of his own voice, "as you know Rayna will be able to keep them both safe, she's a strong woman. I'm certain that Lieutenant Daya is working on another rescue plan. I doubt Admiral Loskene will allow one of his crewmembers to be abandoned. I am going to have a word with him now, after I've seen to Reynolds."
He squeezed her arm once more. "Sleep doctor, or I promise you, I'll have the EMH sedate you." She smiled down on her and gently ran his hand through her hair, only just barely catching himself before he started to bend down to kiss her on her forehead. Correcting his near-error, he patted her hair once more and left her.
