The USS Ronoak, registry number NCC-56009, a nebula class ship was on a scientific expedition into the fringes of Federation space, A spot of strange spatial activity. The ship is commanded by Captain Josef Vorsky...
Vorsky: Captain's log stardate 2390.0523. My ship has approached the mysterious Sector 984. No official name has been given to this area...because it has never been fully explored. Not by a starship anyway. I can already see strange things. Weird flashes of light and massive swirling nebulae. My Science officer warns me that as we get deeper into the area, our sensors are becoming weaker. I figure we will go as far as we can get. I intend to get as much data as I can. It's amazing. Beautiful and also a little frightening. At this time we will start relaying our data to Starfleet. This is interesting. We have lost the image on our viewscreen. The power is fluctuating... Lights are flickering. "Lieutenant, emergency lights." I have just instructed my OPS officer to activate secondary systems. I think this is as close as we can get...Wait--what is that? Oh my god, what is that?! There is something on the bridge! Something black...some kind of life form...It's...AAH! STARFLEET!
"SHRIEEKKKKKK!!!!!"
Vorsky: AAGHHH! T-transm-m-mitting log t-to...Comm array 402.... What is happening now...What the---

At Lunar Station...After a long day on the holodeck fighting for his life, Loskene decided to lie down for a few hours...or days. When he lay down he began to feel just how tired he really was. It was times like this he wished he was human so that he could fall asleep... But a few minutes later...Beep-beep-beep-beep......beep-beep-beep-beep.Loskene: Ugh...I'm coming hold on. Loskene walked over the his wall and activated it.Loskene: Go ahead. =^=Sir, it's Commander Gibson. There is a message coming in from Starfleet, Admiral Lorenzo.=^= Loskene: Oh boy. This can't be good. Patch him through to here please. Loskene sat down at his desk and activated his computer.Loskene: Hello? Voice: Commodore Loskene, greetings, this is Admiral Lorenzo. Loskene: What's going on sir? Lorenzo: We are not quite sure. We recieved this message yesterday.... I'll route it through to you. 5 minutes later.Loskene: Oh.... That is very strange... Lorenzo: I know. Loskene: What is being done? Where is the Ronoak? Lorenzo: We do not know. We have sensor relays near that area, but they have found no sign of the Ronoak. We speculate that it may be destroyed... But again we are not sure. Loskene: And you want us to investigate? Lorenzo: And we want you to investigate, yes, correct. Loskene: That is a largely unstable area sir...I don't think my ship, even if it is a sovereign class vessel, will be able to withstand it. Lorenzo: And that is why you will be assisted. Loskene: Assisted? By whom? Lorenzo: The USS El-Salvador-B. It is Prometheus class. Loskene: Good. It's MVAM may come in handy. Lorenzo: That's what we were thinking. Well, the El-Salvador should be arriving at your location in about 5 minutes. It is after all, a priority one. Loskene: Ok. Lorenzo: Good luck Commodore, and be extremely careful. Loskene: Thank you sir, I will. Loskene out. Loskene walked back to the wall and contacted the bridge.Loskene: Loskene to bridge, please contact the El-Salvador. They should be on their way. Have Mr. Smith come to my ready room, and also invite their senior staff. Pasek: Aye sir. What's up? Loskene: I will appraise everyone of the situation shortly. OFF: Let's extend our welcomes to the El-Salvador crew.

OFF: Thank you for the welcome sir.
ON: The USS El Salvador was now in close proximity with the Jefferson. Cmdr Smith had been ordered to to rendezvous with the USS Jefferson as a matter of urgency, and he had been told little else.
Suddenly, the ops console started beeping.
"Sir, transmission coming through." Cmdr Savot called out.
"Whats is say?" Steve asked.
"The Jefferson is signalling us to beam over right away." Savot replied. "You and the senior crew, that is."
Steve smiled. 'They didnt waste their time.' He thought, as he opened a ship-wide comm.
=/\= Cmdr Smith to all senior staff. Mett me in Transporter Room 1. We are beaming over to the Jefferson, Smith out. =/\=
He looked at the senior crew on the bridge.....Cmdr Savot, Lieutenant Lucas, and his newly appointed FO, Dr Irae.
"Lets go people." He said, as he headed for the turbolift.

Savot sent Commander Smith's reply to the Jefferson, and as always checked to make sure the routine computer log of the exchange was recorded properly, then he summoned the auxiliary duty officer listed for his Ops station, and rose from it himself as he was relieved of duty.
He entered the turbolift with Smith and the others, and they all flowed down to the Transporter room where Counselor Purmau already waited as she was in a closer location when the summons was made. Savot noted that while she was new to the crew, she was holding up well under the immediate summons of a Priority 1 Starfleet Code emergency.
Smith congenially checked with the transporter chief to make sure the coordinates for beamover were transmitted and confirmed, and then joined the others who had stepped into their places on the pad.
Savot had been part of a coordinated mission with the Jefferson several months beforehand, but had never actually set foot onboard the fine Sovereign class vessel. He cast a fairly friendly glance and nod at Doctor/FO Deis Irae and caught her return grin as their ship dissolved around them.
OFF: Thanks for having us aboard Commodore, looking forward to working with both ship and crew once again :)

OFF: WOOHOO we get to be in a whole different SHIP!!
::Fashionably late the good Doctor runs breathlessly into the transporter room. Shes carrying a medical pack over one shoulder and it bounces as her lil frame runs in. She stops dead still at the door and attempts to look dignified but shes panting so it dosent work. She steps onto the transporter grid with the rest of yous guys, smiling at the Seniors. She thinks of herself so rarely in Rank, but rather just as Doctor...she had forgotton she too was a Senior officer, hence being late. it was 5 full minutes before she realized that they meant her too::
::The Vulcan raises a brow at her rush and lateness but politely says nothing...but Smith does:: Its about time Doctor!
Sorry Captain, twas a wee mite confused. Im allrigh now. ::grinning at the Vulcan and trying not to laugh at her silly self. This is serious business so she becomes serious, composing herself for the transport::

Remeti was standing behind the other two officers when the Doctor came rushing in. SHe had to fight hard to keep a grin off her face. It was a funny sight. She sobered up. She wondered what it was that they were needed for. She sighed as the blue energy field came over. She hated transporters.
OFF
a new ship...heheh...oh and congrats Doc. And thanks sir for the welcome

Aral listened in to the breif conversation between Mike and the captain. It sounded serious. And the El Sal was coming. A lot of events taking place in a short period of time!
"The El Salvador is transporting over, Aral. Care to meet them?"
"Good idea, Mike. I'll do that." Aral left his precious console in the care of Lt. Henderson, and marched into the turbolift. "Deck 5." he ordered. Now left in the solitude of the turbolift, Aral reflected. He had been the Cheif Tactical and Security officer of the Jefferson for a little less than a year now, but it still felt like he was a fresh ensign just out of the academy.
Then he thought of the ship gliding along beside the Jefferson. The El Sal. The El Salvador. Robert had served on the El Sal, Robert Agalacticae, who had been his best friend during the academy. The El Sal now had a different crew than the days when Bob had served on her.
He'd had a chance to look over the El Sal's roster. Aral had noticed several familiar names. Steven Smith, their captain. Deis Irae, their doctor and newly promoted First officer. Savot, their operations officer. Purmau, their counsellor. Kivan, their engineering officer. And Lucas, Aral's counterpart on the El Sal'. It looked like a very fine crew.
Aral snapped out of his day dream as the turbolift doors opened to reveal the empty corridor of deck 5. He quickly proceeded to the transporter room. As he walked in the blue beam of the transporter hissed into operation and several moments later, officers stood on the transporter pad. He grinned.
"Welcome to the Jefferson. I'm Cmdr. Aral Gibson. If you'd follow me, I'll take you to the captains ready room?" Aral motioned towards the door and waited for a response.
OFF: Welcome onboard! I'm sure this'll be a great mission!

Aral led the officers of the El Sal while Mike finished preparations on the bridge. He was going through maintenance check after maintenance check, making sure that all systems were tuned adequately. He didn't know exactly what was going on but he knew it would be something big and important, and he didn't want his department working neither sloppy nor inefficiently. Finishing a few more checks he addressed Tomora (NPC): "Tomora, I want you to rally all our personnel. We'll all meet in stellar cartography so we can organise our work as efficient as possible." "Aye, sir. And when will we meet." "15 minutes from now." "Understood." As Mike finished the sentence a call came out from his badge: =/\= All senior officers report to the Captain's ready room. =/\= "Telak (NPC) , please keep a watch on the station.", said Mike leaving his bridge station. "Aye, sir." Mike left his station and headed for the Captain's ready room, wondering what was this serious situation that was kept hush hush until now. Mike entered the ready room and saw a few people more in it the usual. Of course he knew that this was the El Sal crew, but he just wasn't used to this room being so crowded. "Mr. Pasek please be seated.", said Loskene sitting at the front of the table, " This is the crew of the El Salvadore. Cptn. Steven Smith - the CO, Cmdr. Savot - the COO, Lt. Cmdr. Deis Irae - the CMO, and Lt. JG Remeti Lucas - the CTSO. Everybody, this is my CScO Lt. Cmdr. Michael Pasek. We will depend on him greatly in this mission. " "I just hope I'll meet those expectations, Sir. ", said Mike sitting down. "Well, now we're all here, let's begin.", said Loskene getting up from his chair and heading to the view screen on the wall behind him. "First of all, I want you all to see something.", he said playing back the message he got from Starfleet. OOC: Sorry if I took your job , Commodore, I'll lay off now so you can continue. Oh yeah, hello and welcome El Sal people. ;D

my last mission as Xo then i dunno where i'm gonna go
Strife was in the matinance deck harnessed from the room her feet on the wall in from of her and her back against the wall adjusting the Navigation conduits, she was a pilot for almost 13 years
Her laser torch glowed running it across the nural packs trying ot reseal them some of the gel packs leaqked and it fried a few systems
grunting moving her position with her belly resting on the harness she was already 2 months pregnant, though she was kinda mad Mike Pasek didn't mention anything about it yet when she heard a voice under heard
"Yo Strife"
Frowning wondering who would speak to a ships first officer like that then she looked down to see Gibson , the only person who she would let him get away with it Dropping her laser torch by accident in nearly impaled gibsion by a few inches, and she began lowering her self ,
"You are with a child Loskene wants you on the bridge"
grunting she undid the harness and handed it to gibson the with effort she bent down and handed him the torch
"Here, take this you'll need it" Streife grinned then gave him a gentle tickly on the side and she headed to the bridge

*trash my rep will ya* shakes fist here a long post for ya i'm gonna finnish this joint mission then i am gone >___<
Strife whent to the bridge but she stopped and didn't go directly there she stopped on deck 8 where the phaser banks where she looked up at the ceiling where they where stored.
"Cavit to Gibsion"
"Gibson here"
"Come to deck eight with me" Cavit grinned
Gibson stopped at the tone of her voice it was one of those i shouldn't but i'm gonna do it anyway voices*
Gibson arrived minutes later and looked at her "Dare I asked what your up to? "
She pointed upwards to the ceiling where the phaser banks where
"Oh ? what do you have in mind" Gibson asked
Cavit grinned "Phaser balls"
Gibson gave her a blank look "I beg your pardon?"
"My father did it years ago with his ship" Cavit expained "he modded his phaser banks so it would fire phaser balls multiples at a time , does 5 times the damage than a normal phaser shot and it won't burn out the phaser battieres as fast"
Gibsons eyes widend "you kidding?"
She grinned and held up a padd
"Whats that" Gibson asked
" I asked my father's old Xo to give me the schematics" Strife grinned
"Your one shrewed woman" Gibson said
"Think you can give a pregnant woman a boost? " Cavit asked
"Sure" Gibsion Cupped his hands and Stife tore the celing panel off and felt around till she found something she could hold on to and pull her self up
She climbed up and then stuck her head out and offered gibson a hand while on her kness so she didn't have to get on her rounded belly
"No need" gibson said he jumped up and then grabbed the edge of the opening and pulled himself up
Strife nodded in approval "working out much"
Gibson just grinned "Lets see those schematics"
She handed him the padd and pulled off the fist battery and opend it up, and began using a laser torch and some wires to rearrange the settings manually
"Wait you have to do them manually? " Gibson squeaked
"Yup thats the unfortunate part" strife said without looking up
"God dammit" there is about 40 of these things up here" He groaned then herd a click and he watched her close it
"thats it?" He said
"It's a small five minute job" Strife grinned
"And your dad came up with this? " Gibson asked
"Oh yes" She was now grinning and was already on the third then she paused and looked at Gibson said "well what are you waiting for? christmas? "
"Oh " Gibson snapped out of his little world and focused on modding the phasers
Two more heads popped up and joined them "Need help? "
"yes" gibson said
"Yesss" the security guards cheered they finally had something to do , she coppied the schmatics to another padd she shoved in her pocket, "Here give these to more officer and get them on the lateral rays please"
"yes ma'am" The officers trotted on ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 20 mins later
Gibson shut the last of the batteries closed "There last bloody one"
"Blood? " Strife looked around "I don't see blood"
"Oh it's an old earth expression" Gibson said
Cavit merely looked at him and blinked
"Never mind lets get to the bridge and tell the Commadore what we just did, or did you bother telling him ?" Gibson was smiling
Cavit gave him another blank look "Tell him?" Her head tilted to the side and then she had a look like she was concentrating on somthing
"No I didn't" Strife said "Though being FO I should have cleared it with him first but there isn't much time, to tinker around "
She grabbed him and said "Lets go tell him now anyway "
Aral allowed himself to be dragged to the bridge by his fisrt officer by the arm
They strode onto the bridge and found Loskene in his ready room
"Sir I have an Idea for mods for the ship" Cavit said
"Oh? " Loskene looked up in surprise
"I planned on doing a modification my father did years ago with his ship" Cavit expained "he modded his phaser banks so it would fire phaser balls multiples at a time , does 5 times the damage than a normal phaser shot and it won't burn out the phaser battieres as fast and it will fire faster than normal than you normal pot shots"
"Well I see nothing wrong with it " Loskene said looking at the schmatics" get on it"
"Already done sir" Gibson said from behind
"Huh? " Loskene 's fase whent pale
"I knew you would aprrove of it and i didn't have time to come up here and then go back and do it so i did it on the wat up" Cavit explained
Loskene's face didn't go red in anger or anything that Gibson expected
the only reaction they got was him was a raise of an eyebrow "Well why doesn't engineering do this more often"
"They're a lazy bunch thats why" Strife turned to leave the ready room with Gibson
"Strife mind if I see you for a moment ? " Loskene said
"could it wait sir? " Stife said
He looked at his FO for a moment then he nodded and said slowly "yeessss but I think i should do it now"
"Well if it can wait I need to get these mods finnsihed on the rear of the ship" Strife said
Loskene's mouth opened to protest but no sound came out then he said finally after a momsnt of silence
"Very well, After" He said
"Wait a minute rear of the ship?" gibson asked
"yes the rear" Cavit said
"Err yes ma'am" Gibson strode onto the bridge and looked at two security officers like he was gonna kill them , they caught the looked and looked at eachother and started to back away
"Uh uh" Gibson said "You two are gonna help us mod the phasers with another team, slight punishment for the fight you two staged in the mess"
"But sir " The blonde whined
"Please--" the red head started
Strife appeared infront of them in seconds before they could react and seeeing thier Xo they stood perfectly still at attention
"Didn't you hear your chief?" She smiled sweetly
Thinking that she wasn't gonna give them crap the red head nodded "Yes ma'am but--"
"THEN NO BUTS DO IT , OR BOTH OF YOU WILL GO TO THE BRIG INTEAD OF LETTING YOU OFF LIKE I DID" She roared
The bridge whent dead silent
"yes ma'am" The blonde sqeaked, she shoved the padd into thier hands and then looked at them
"Then get busy" Strife said
Nodding they hurried out of the bridge as fas as they could
"Err is that the first time you have ever yelled at a crew memeber ?" Gibson asked
"Yes" Strife tunred to him and smiled her coulder length twirling in her face
Pushing her hair back behind one ear with her left hand she proceeded to the rear of the ship
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
30 mins later
Strife finnished the last five battieres on her own then she waddled to the bridge where she found Mike kissing him on the cheek she waltzed into loskenes office without ringing the chime
"Mods are done" Cavit said simply
"Oh?"
"And I might trasnfer to another ship" Cavit added
'Thats nice..." then the comment sunk in "WHAT?"
"The El salvador might have another Fo position open if it does I'm going for it "
"Whats about the Fo spot here ?" he said then he realized sonthing he said hit a button he shoudn't of pressed then it sunk in when the padd hit his desk he read though it it was his report and highlighted was the reccomendation for her removal
"Stife I'm sorry but thats what I wanted......to..."He looked up and she wasn't there "Talk about he finnished to no one "Slamming the PADD down she swore "SH*T"
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Strife over looked the bridge and sat down in the fo's chair when a yomen came up to her
"Ma'am would you like to have somthing to drink? " He asked "coffee perhaps"
"yes but" she patted her stomach She said "Orange juice if you will"
"Yes ma'am"
She sat there and waited for her drink watching the bridge activity around her, Mike came up to her and smiled
"You look tired" He said
"I'm fine" she said as the yomen handed her and glass of orange juice
"Loskene wants you in his ready room later on again, but are due for a check up at sick bay are you not? " Mike said "I'll program a meal in our quarters later when i get the time but you have to head to sickbay"
Spitting out her orange juice out of surprise she couldn't belive she forgot to go
"Alright alright i'm going " she gave him a playful smakc and kissed him and left to sick bay when to security gards marched up to her "Ma'am we have a problem"
"????" Strife looked confused and one of her eyebrows raised "such as? "
"We have no spare battieres left incase the moddifications go wrong" One said
Bloowing air between her pursed lips she let out a growl and said "Do you know how to make some?"
"ma'am?" the looked confused
Letting out a sigh she simply said "Follow me"
They followed her to engineering , she knew the chief engineer knew how to make phaser batteries by scratch
Max Power she belived it was she read his record
She entered engineering and she called out to Max
"yes ma'am"
"You know how to make batteries off by scratch do you not? " She asked
"Yes ma'am" He nodded
"Show these gentlemen how would you and I'll poke around I would like to know how myself too" She smiled
"Sure thing commander" He nodded

Aral wiped sweat off his forhead and hopped into the turbolift. He had just spent a couple of hours with Strife, modifying phasers, enhancing weapons, and crawlig through weapon holds and jeffries tubes.
As he exited the turbolift, a steaming Strife shouldered past him. "Engineering!" She ordered and the doors cut her figure from his view. Aral wondered what was wrong with her but didn't give it much thought as he remembered that he had just missed the first half of the mission briefing.
"Damnit." He swore quietly to himself and walked into the conferance room.
"Mr. Gibson, so glad you could join us." His captain said as stepped in.
"Sorry sir, I was.... busy."
"Well, take your seat." Aral did so and with the missing presence of Cmdr. Cavit he took her seat beside the commodore. Loskene continued his breifing.
OFF: sir?

~~ USS Jefferson New first officer coming on board ~~
~~ Runabout Churchill Seven hours into the trip ~~
James awoke suddenly to the gentle beeping of the intercom. Someone's voice was droning on about "...and welcome to The USS Jefferson. We shall be landing at the Landing bay 1 in less than five” minutes." He had obviously dozed off during a portion of the trip. He gazed out the port window and saw a beautiful Sovereign Class star ship Holding station just below the Shuttle" James grinned yeah that my new home."
~~ USS Jefferson Shuttle bay ~~
This trip to his new ship was more then a little hectic, but exciting and exasperating Trip . The New Jefferson first officer Commander James Thomas Matthew stepped through the Shuttle doors on to The Jefferson shuttle bay Deck for the first time with no fan fair . He had several bags slung across his shoulders. Commander Matthew” has spent all of his18 years Starfleet career as a operations officer on star bases and ships in the fleet” Before accepting this new promotion he was the USS Victory -C chief of operations and her 2nd officer as well once his promotion came through it would come with a new red uniform it was a little hard to Change from the old gold to the new red command uniform but it had to be Done “
He left his personal stuff with a ensign down in the shuttle bay I would pick it up later once I knew where my Quarters would be beside I didn’t wont to be late meeting my new commanding officer for the first time “ I hear I will be replacing the old first officer a Lt, cmdr Strift Cavit no reason was given why she step down as the ship first officer I don’t know what her command style was but mine is more of a do it by the book and we will have no problem
As Commander Matthew” left the shuttle-bay heading for the Bridge for the first time as a first officer he felt a Little un-easy as the doors to the Main bridge open up there was a lot of people moving round and the sound of the bridge was something he always love “
Commander Matthew “call out to one of the junior officers Lt, what going on here Junior Lt” snap to and yelled commander on the Bridge “ sir ‘Just who are you “ Cmdr Matthew “am the Jefferson new first officer” Sir “we where not Told you where coming on board all of the senior officers are attending a Meeting in briefing room -A with the captain. Cmdr Matthew” ok Lieutenant carry on . Cmdr Matthew Turn around and head for the turbo lift doors again step inside the computer voice came on “ Cmdr Matthew “Deck#2 The turbo lift doors open on deck #2 cmdr Matthew step out heading for the briefing room ~~ senior Department heads meeting underway conference room -A ~~
James enter the room as everyone eyes where on him and his red command uniform James am your new first officer Cmdr James Matthew sir James walk over to the commodore and place his orders in his hand Commodore Loskene Commodore Loskene well commander have a set I ask for a new first officer weeks ago I had gotten to the point I had prepared to start this mission without one well everyone we now have a first officer cmdr Matthew you can introduce your self after the meeting we have a lot to cover the captain continue the briefing.

Mike was surprised to see the newcomer entering the briefing room. He was even more surprised when he introduced himself: "I am your new first officer, Cmdr James Matthew, sir." ¤ New FO ¤ Mike thought to himself ¤ What happened to Strife? She didn't tell me she was removed from duty. ¤ But Mike's thoughts were interrupted as the new FO took his seat and Loskene put down the padd with the transfer orders. "Gentlemen", said Loskene beginning his briefing and greeting the crew of the El Sal, "I welcome you on my ship, but, sorry to say, this isn't going to be a pleasure cruise." Looking to his right, the El Sal crew sat there with Cptn Smith being the first to Loskene's right, Loskene took a deep breath and continued. "Admiral Lorenzo yesterday contacted me, as well as Cptn Smith, and informed us of a very serious and mysterious situation.", Loskene said and looked at Smith with his usual, serious and still look. "Along with our assignment", said Loskene, "he also sent me this audio file. It's an extract from the logs of Cptn Vorsky of the USS Ronoak." Saying that Loskene pressed a button on the table panel and played the audio. The room was on the edge, all ears, as it always was when such an important meeting was going on. " Captain's log stardate 2390.0523. I figure we will go as far as we can get..." The tension could've been cut with a knife, as the message was played. "... STARFLEET! SHRIEEKKKKKK!!!!!" Loskene turned stopped the playback, as chills ran down Mike's back. Cmdr. Metthew crossed his hands and stared at the table looking very nervous, and Aral sat up straighter and changed his position in the chair. The El Sal crew looked as uneasy as the Jefferson crew. All except Savot, who was as calm as ever, which was expected from a Vulcan. "We have been ordered to find the Ronoak.", Loskene said with a strong, calm, even voice, "Mr. Pasek, do you know anything about this sector 984" Mike made one of those "I'm sorry" faces and said: "No, sir. Nothing more then it was said here." "Well then, we'll need to prepare for the worst.", said Cptn. Smith looking at Loskene who was agreeing, nodding his head, "Ms. Lucas, I want you to do your best to make the ship as safe as possible. As I said be prepared for anything. And work with Mr. Gibson, our tactical and security efforts need to be co-ordinated flawlessly." "It'll be a pleasure.", Remeti said looking at Aral, who just looked back and smiled. "The same goes for you Mr. Pasek.", said Loskene addressing his science officer, "You'll need to be one step ahead of all of us, to prepare us for what's ahead." Mike nodded and said: "I'll do my best, sir." Loskene leaned back in his chair and said: "Well, that would be all. Anything to add?", he said looking at the El Sal crew. ¤¤¤ Later ¤¤¤ Mike exited the briefing room and headed to the turbolift. ¤Boy, we're in for some ride ¤ he thought to himself as he entered the turbolift. After the doors closed, organising everything in his head, Mike said: "Deck 11." Stepping into Stellar Cartography Mike realised that everybody was there, just as ordered. "Sir, I gathered everybody, as ordered.", said Tomora (NPC) standing to Mike's left. "Good. Then we can begin.", Mike said slowly raising his voice. "Everybody,", Mike said addressing everybody in the room, "There's some serious work ahead of us. We are going to sector 984, which was never explored before, in search of a ship lost there." Mike stopped looking around the room, giving everybody time to really understand what's he talking about. "We don't know what we'll find there, or is the ship in tact, but I can tell you this, I won't be neither easy nor pretty.", Mike continued inspiring his people, "But, a lot of people are counting on us, and we need to do our best." A silent whisper of approval went through the people gathered. "That is why we're gonna organise this department as good as we can.", Mike finally got to the point, "Ens. Telak (NPC), you'll be in charge of physical research. I want you, and group of people you pick, to monitor anything unusual happening out there when we enter the sector. Radiation, particles, temporal anomalies and subspace. I don't want a single neutron appearing or disappearing without a good reason." Telak listened very carefully to Mike, you could see it in his eyes, and at the end he just nodded. "Tomora,", Mike continued, "You and your team will be in charge of the search for the lost ship. Do what ever come to you, just try absolutely everything to find that missing ship." "Understood.", Tomora replied. "The rest of you will be working with me on scans, strategies and anything else that might come up." Everyone agreed and a strange whisper went through the room once again. "Telak, Tomora, I want reports every 5 hours.", Mike said exhaling and looking at his men. "That'll be all. We will begin as soon as we enter the sector. Dismissed.", Mike finished and exited the lab. OOC: Since Commodore didn't post for a while and this sounds like a great mission, I thought to give it a little push myself. Hope no one minds, or that no one is offended. Anyways, lets keep it alive, until he gets back, shall we? ;D

::As she listens to the playback a chill runs down her spine and she wraps arms round herself as if cold. Her mind keeps placing her in the sickbay with the Doctors, no dangerous stuff, just a clean calm room...but now things are different and shes somehow been elevated into her ships second seat. She all ears and eyes trying to absorb as much as she can so she dosent make an absolute fool out of herself.::
::Find the Roanoak:: I find it interestin Sir, tha th verra ship missin be named th Roanoak. Didnae an early American colony dissappear wi th same name? ::The Commodore says nothing but Savot pipes up:: I believe your referring to terran history Doctor. Not all species study the histories of alien planets.
::Blinks blinks...SHES from an alien planet?? she never thought about it that way. She supposes that yes...her history would be rather alien to people that are NOT terran. Public duh moment, even the most calm and collected have them. She chuckles, blushing and says:: Aye, i suppose yer righ.
::she gets up with the rest of her crew and then looks to Captain Smith. Its odd being on a different ship with two captain types...two of everything really and Deis feels very out of place. Shes used to the El Salvador by now:: Well Sir...wha now?

Steve was intrigued by the recording. As usual, he had no idea how things were going to pan out. He would just have to take them in his stride.
He got up out of his chair, stood behind it and placed his hands on the head rest. He then turned to the Doctor. "Well, for now, I suggest we head back to the El Sal. We'll maintain constant comms, so we can co-ordinate our efforts." He replied, taking his hands off the chair and turned to look out of one of the viewing windows.

Remeti was interested by the recording and what it could portend. She was actually looking forward to this. She stared at the window then looked back.
She noticed that the captain had stood up and was ready to head back to the El Sal. She stood up as well.

Steve turns back from the window, and notices that Remeti is standing up as well.
"Coming back?" He asked her. He held out his arm to indicate that he was allowing her to go first. On his way out of the briefing, he turned to Commodre Loskene. "I contact you later." He said, just as he left.

Steve noticed Remeti stumble on her words and let out a slight laugh.
He made his way down the corridors with her towards the transporter room. The trip back seemed to take longer. Maybe it was due to the person that he was walking with! In any case, he wasnt going to complain.
Turning to her, he smiled. "So, what's your take on the situation?" He asked, wondering whether Remeti had any views on what could happen.

Mike left Stellar cartography and went to his office. He didn't worry about his team, he knew that Telak and Tomora were more then capable of handling the situation. His department will be ready for anything that the situation could throw at them. Right now he had some worries of his own. Strife ran of somewhere to do who knows what with their baby in her belly. She should've been with the doctor now but knowing her, she certainly wasn't there. And seeing her mood earlier, he wasn't about to jump in her way. She had her phases even before they were together and she always managed to get through them, all by her self. All by herself because no one else could get even near her then, let alone trying to do something. He went back to his office for some solitude. He needed to do something that would relieve him of stress. Upon entering the office Mike saw Orko hovering about the room, ordering his mechanics closet. "You're doing a great job, Orko. Thank you." "No need for gratitude. I am just following protocol.", Orko responded and Mike smiled as Orko got back to his work. Mike sat down at his little table he had mounted on one of the walls of his office. He had his desk to the one side of the room, but this little table he used to put together stuff or making repairs to Orko's components, or doing what ever came to him. That way he was always available if something came up and also could do something for himself at the same time. Now, Mike was sitting at the table trying to figure out something to do to relax before the tough mission ahead. At that moment he remembered the away mission he had been to a while back, back on Bersus IV. All of a sudden he got up, went to one of his cabinets, took out a small metal dish with a lid and put it on the table. Next he went to the replicator and said: "Four 1/2 litre pots with soil in side. " The pots materialised and Mike took them to the table. He decided to start an experiment he planed for a long time. When they were on Bersus a strange kind of plant attacked them, firing 2-inch long sharp thorns at them. He was fascinated by the plants but he didn't take any samples of them, so he thought that the thorns were some kind of seeds. Well, he'll find out in a few weeks. Mike opened the dish and took out 4 of 12 thorns he got out of his uniform when they got back from the mission and started his little agricultural adventure.

<<USS El Salvador, Agalacticae’s quarters and bridge>>
“The new CNO of the El Sal reporting for duty” The harsh sound of his wake-up call shrieked through his quarters when Agalacticae tumbled out of his bed. Disoriented and confused, it took him a few minute to realize that he was back on a Starfleet vessel again – but not any Starfleet vessel…he could almost recognize the sound of the engines and the subtle vibrations throughout the ship…it was the ship he had served on previously…the USS El Salvador. As the ship was on a mission Agalacticae had just arrived the day prior on a specially arranged shuttle transport. Agalacticae: “Computer, Time?”
The emotionless voice of the computer of the USS El Salvador only stated 5:30 and for a brief moment Agalacticae almost regretted requesting to be put back on active duty. Entering the shower in his quarters to get ready for his first day under the command of the newly appointed Captain Smith his thoughts wandered to the months that just had passed…
The warm water of the shower running down Agalacticae’s face started to melt with the tears silently creeping out of his eyes. They were tears of joy, that he had survived the past months but also tears of sorrow of what he had to go through. He had loved his job as First Officer of the Hepta, inspiring and helping cadets to achieve the same noble goals he had set for himself. On the last training mission he made contact with a sentient being, which the natives on the planet they investigated used as fertilizer. After they had been able to resolve the problem on the planet Agalacticae started to feel weaker and began to show symptoms from his respiratory tract. At one of the routine medical examination Dr. Kalen noticed that particles of that cloud seemed to have colonized Agalacticae’s lungs. Not sure whether and how to remove it and unsure whether this small part of cloud substance was sentient as well, he reported his findings to Starfleet Command. It took Starfleet Command only 2 days to respond, ordering Agalacticae to resign his position and to be transported to a medical research facility in the Sellah Sector. Agalacticae did not know whether his superiors were informed but imagined that Starfleet Command was afraid that his condition could be contagious. At the research facility Agalacticae was put in isolation as his condition began to deteriorate. The cloud remnants seemed to multiply and clutch up his respiratory system, making it increasingly harder for him to breathe. More than anything else he wished the particles removed from his body but he was told over and over again that the researchers had to make sure that the cloud particles were not part of a sentient being. Another month or so passed, when his condition was brought to the attention of the Admiral in charge. The Admiral – amazed how far Agalacticae’s condition had progressed – ordered the team to make Agalacticae’s life their top priority. This suddenly seemed more difficult than they had expected, as the cloud particles had grown large in number and only reluctantly responded to treatment. In a last attempt – with a 50/50 chance of killing both patient and the cloud particles Agalacticae was exposed to high radiation treatment. It succeeded to kill the cloud remnants but the radiation also compromised Agalacticae’s ability to produce his own blood, leaving him to get a transfusion every 2 weeks for the rest of his life.
Standing in front of the mirror, slowly pinning the pips on his collar in an almost meditative state he knew that this experience had changed him – being on the verge of death and having killed a possibly conscious being within him. Straightening his uniform only moments before he would step back into the life of a Starfleet Officer a smile formed on Agalacticae’s face. The excitement of meeting his new crew and reporting for duty suddenly made him feel like a cadet again – practicing to stand straight a few times before entering the corridor.
On his way to the bridge he looked out of one of the windows on the El Salvador and almost could not believe what he saw. Afraid that he was still dreaming he rubbed his eyes to take another look.
oO Could it really be the Jefferson? Oo
Entering the turbolift and heading for the bridge Agalacticae closed his eyes and took a deep breath of air. Every Starship had its own unique smell and the memory of the smell let his thoughts wander to the missions under Captain Vreenak and his last mission on the El Salvador which actually was a joint mission with the Jefferson and his old friend Aral Gibson…
oO Aral Oo
Had he ever been informed informed of his resignation? Robert had not spoken to him for over 6 months, wondering whether he still was aboard the Jefferson and whether he would have a chance to speak to him.
When the doors to the bridge opened Agalacticae moved toward the center until he stood in front of the Captain, who just had returned from the Jefferson. Standing straight, and in a somewhat nervous voice Agalacticae said:
Agalacticae: “Captain Smith, CNO Agalacticae, reporting for duty!”
In the periphery of his view he could see the familiar faces of Savot and Kivan... Looking forward to simming with my new crew of the El Salvador and yet another fantastic joint mission with the Jefferson!

==/\== Begin first officer Log ==/\==
Commander Matthew I left my first official meeting as the first officer of the Jefferson with mixed feelings. I knew I had a good team of veteran officers on board with him but at the same time there was the trepidation's about the possibility that a lot of them may not make it back alive. How ever it was not the first time that a SF officers were exposed to such dangers and non-had been known to shrink in the sight of such danger. SF did simply not throw down their weapons and high tail it against Enemy .
As I entered the main Operations, bridge area, Ensign Xio Naeli was madly tapping away on his console and the room was a hive of activity.
Ensign,Xio Naeli spun towards as I came on to the bridge, "Sir something has happened!" Cmdr Matthew picked up his pace and took the main command chair; suddenly commodore Loskene also came into the bridge control area. James immediately evacuated the Captains chair and took his own. commodore Loskene took his seat and booted up his side console, turning to James he said, "Commander Matthew how thing going so far “ Cmdr Matthew “very well captain " commodore Loskene” well xo what is our current Status Commander Matthew “ Captain all departments have reported in we are currently operating on a three sift at this time sir we receive a subspace Messages from star Base S/B Conqueror its read for commanding officer only I had it sent to your ready room Ens Colt turned to the two officers, "The USS El,Salvador signal she ready to get underway at any time they are awaiting orders ?"
Cmdr ,Matthew looked at Loskene with a question on his lips but stood and raced over to the science station. Assistant science ensign Lonak was at the console with his Chief Lt cmdr,.Michael Pasek
He turned to Matthew, " Sir, we detected some Antimatter particle signature changes in the rifts in (Sector 984 )a few hours ago on our long range sensors. The particle signature appear to be stable we seen no changes in it to suggest it is not stable but at this range we cant be sure?"
Commander Matthew “considered this. He turned to commodore Loskene, " Sir I think we should get this mission, underway as soon as possible this indicates that Antimatter particle signature may have something to do with our mystery in sector 984 ?" picking up Antimatter particle signature in that area is puzzling. "James nodded and looked over to science console for answers. Lonak stepped forward; "Sir, I have been known to have time dilation affecting ships in that sector?"
Cmdr, Matthew nodded…" so cmdr, Pasek what you are saying is that you just don’t know ?" Pasek nodded in conformation; "You are correct sir!"
Loskene stood and approached cmdr Matthew "Very well Commander our mission per-ammeters have not changed despite this event, it still looks dangerous we still have to find just what going on in that sector Cmdr, Matthew you have the bridge as Loskene head off to his ready room . ==/\== Computer End Log ==/\==

Aral stood silently. The doorway from the conference room framed his muscular build. It was all very strange. The Ronoak disappearing leaving only this recording. They had very general orders. To investigate. It was a simple task. To investigate. But this did not seem simple at all.
Gibson was knocked from his strange pose by several El Sal officers heading back to their ship. He nodded and got out of their way. Cmdr. Matthew came out of the conferance room as well.
"Cmdr. Gibson, I presume?" He said formally, extending a hand. Aral took it.
"A pleasure, sir." Aral said stiffly. He was not one to prejudge but he couldn't help but be apprehensive. Not that Aral noticed anything odd about the man- on the contrary, he seemed quite pleasant- it was just the fact that he was replacing Strife.
"Please, send a transmission over to the El Sal telling them to set a course. We are doing likewise."
"Aye, sir." Aral took his console and activated a 2-way transmission to the El Sal. "Captain Smith. We are ready to get underway." Aral noticed the new pip on his collar. "By the way: Congratulations, Captain, on your promotion."
"Thank you, Mr. Gibson. So we are ready to get underway? Right." Smith turned from the screen to someone just out of Aral's view. "Robert, set a course for sector 984."
Aral jumped silently. Robert? Robert Agalacticae? It couldn't be. He had heard that Bob had resigned his commision almost 4 months ago! Smith turned back to the screen.
"We are engaging, Jefferson. Smith out."
"The El Sal is engaging engines." Aral reported, his head still spinning about Bob.
"Do the same, helm!" Matthew ordered.
"Aye, sir." Xio said from the helm. She wiped her hair from her eyes, "Engaging engines!"
OFF: Welcome onboard, Ensign Power! And welcome back, Robert!

(off) Thank you Mr Gibson sir! Pleasure to be here Also, i skimmed over the mission posts so far. I hope im not out of order with this post. (on) Ensign Max Power was pleased to be aboard a fine starship like the USS Jefferson. After leaving and unpacking his bags in his quarters, he headed down to engineering, where he was the new Chief Engineer. Once he had arrived, he asked a crewman for the status of the ship. Max: "Crewman. Report please" Crewman: "All systems read normal sir!" Max: "Very well. As you were" Max headed over to a console and started pressing a few buttons.
