OFF: Sorry it took me while before posting, I will start this post with my introduction, just read it as if we are still in the room introducing ourselves to one another.

ON: 'Well, since everyone else already introduced themselves, I guess I'm next. I'm ensign Meralin, this ships CTSO for over a year already. I come from earth, where my mother still teaches at primary school. Unfortunately my father is no longer among the living. He was a starship enineer, and had a tragic accident during the construction of the USS Braveheart. I went to the starfleetacademy as soon as I was old enough to join, and now I'm here, fulfilling a dream I've had since I was seven years old.'

OFF: Hereunder I will just continue where we were.

ON: The Scavenger decreased speed, as the asteroid field rapidly closed.

'Have fun, ensign,' Savali said smiling at Meralin.

Meralin powered up the phaserbanks, and loaded five torpedoes. 'Helm, lets make a quick run through the field, just a routine bombardment of a few astroids, on my mark.'

Meralin inputted some data and coordinates, and stepped back. 'Let's do it helmsman!'

The helmsman looked puzzled, why did Meralin step back from the console?

'Just do it please.' The Scavenger made a turn, and swept through the asteroid field. Passing over asteroids, the automated systemseemed to work, as five asteroids were oblitterated.

'That seems to function,' Meralin said, 'now helm, just fly through the field at random please.'

The helmsman complied, and the Scavenger ducked and weaved through the asteroid field smoothly, while asteroids were sent to asteroid-heaven by the easily manageable phasers Meralin was controlling.

'Full stop please helm,' Meralin said. The Scavenger came to a halt.

'Sir,' Meralin turned to commander T'Mar, 'with your permission I'd like to adjust a torpedoe to, once fired, turn and head back to our ship. That way, we'll get hit, and we'll then be able to determine whether or not our regenerative shields are opperating properly.'

T'Mar thought for a moment. 'I do not know if it is such a good idea, ensign. If it goes wrong we could blow ourselves up.'

'Uhm,' Meralin said, 'can't our shields take a full hit by one of our torpedoes?'

'I do not know, since we have never tested that,' T'Mar said.

'I think it's pretty safe, commander,' Savali said, 'and for as far as I can think of, this seems to be the easiest way to test our shields.'

'Okay,' T'Mar said, 'proceed.'

Meralin went to the turbolift, which'd take him to the deck where the torpedo bays were located. He'd have to manually adapt a torpedoe for the purpose of creating a boomerang effect. It was no difficult configuration, it'd just take five minutes.

Eight minutes later Meralin reappeared on the bridge, and took station where he belonged.

'On your command, ma'am,' he said looking a T'Mar.

'When you are ready, mister Meralin,' she replied.

'Raising shields,' Meralin notified, 'regenerative systems online and functioning. Firing torpedoe.'

The by Meralin well known sound of a torpedoe rapidly gaining speed within seconds sounded from somewhere under the Scavenger.

On the vieuwscreen a small rapidly moving orange star appeared, which soared into space, only to turn seconds later, cruising with ramming speed towards the Scavenger.

*Warning: incoming projectile, warning: projectile incoming.*

The computer panicked, and beeped.

The ship rocked a little, as the torpedoe tried to manage its way through the Scavenger's shields, whom diminished it, as it seezed to exist.

Right after the impact Meralin said: 'Shields down to 78%, it was a direct hit Sir! Regeneration cycle started, 84%, 87%, 90%, 92%, 93%, ....., 94%.'

'Well, at least it worked partially,' Meralin said. It had taken sixteen point thirtyfour seconds before the shields were back to 94%.

Five minutes later, the shields were fully restored again, yet it had costed the regenerative system quite some power.

'If you'll let me, Sir,' Meralin said asked T'Mar, 'I'll get down to engineering and try to configure the regenerative system differently and more efficiently.'

'Granted,' T'Mar said, 'at least the phasers and the torpedoes fully functioned.'

Meralin nodded at T'Mar, and went into the turbolift, going down to engineering, to see if he could get the regenerative system functioning more efficiently.

Off:Good to know your still with us ensign

---------Before the weapons test started-----------------

The engines test have just been completed sucessfouly and Felix went out of main engineering towards the main bridge , he entere the turbolift and said:

"Deck 1 - Main Bridge"

And the lift started going while the lift was going he was thinking about the test they excersized and how the engines were functioning excellent , which was a change as ussualy after leaving drydock the ships engines never functioned correctly but this time seems like the engineers of DS9 were good.

While he was thinking the lift came to a stop on the bridge and he went out and took his seat.

-----------------After the weapons test was complete-------

Felix looked at T'Mar and she shook her head.

"Stand down red alert"

And all the flashing red lights vanished and normal bridge lights came back on.

"Resume previous course , warp 8", T'Mar said

"Aye sir", the helmsman said

He taped a few keys and the ship made a sharp turn and jumped to warp 8.

"Estimated time of arrival 3 hours at warp 8"

After T'Mar gave that order Felix went to the science console to check if Emelye has ran a check on the sensor logs:

"Cmdr. have you finished the check of the sensor logs?", he asked

[emelye]

"I am still comparing the logs, but I have some preliminary results. Everything seems fine. The quality of the readings is being maintained. If it's out here, we'll see it coming"


OFF: Sorry it's so short. I will add stuff later, but i'm a bit tired now

[Felix Savali]

------------Several hours later---------------------

"Slow to impulse speed", T'Mar said

"Aye , sir", the helmsman responded

And the ships slowed down to impulse speed. Heading on full impulse towards its target the 3 planet in the Arvala system. Suposedly to be inhabited by a prewarp civilization.

"Standard orbit around Arvala 3 ", T'Mar said

And the ship approached Arvala 3 a planet of mostly blue color , abit like Earth, only without any satelites , space stations and other wanders of the modern world

"Cmdr. Brianon , run a scan of the planet determine are there any high concentrations of lifeforms , what technological level are they on , can they detect us.", Felix aded

"After cmdr. Brianon prepares the report i want you to lead an away team down to the surface , mr. Savali, but make sure that the inhabitants dont detect you , as they are most likely not familiar with life on other planets", T'Mar replied

"We will have to get some view on how they look like, to prevent beeing discovered.", Felix said

"I agree, suggestions anyone?", T'Mar asked

*Tiffani was getting bored setting down so she started to stand up for a minute to stretch her muscles, when she suddenly become dizzy and started to lose her balance luckily she was standing next to the bulkhead and caught her balanace, all the emotions she was feeling from the planet and the ship had overtaken her, as she hadn't expectred such emotions, she regained herself and set back down in the chair deciding it was best she stay seated* Captain, *she spoke up after noone else responde* what about running a scan on the planet could that work? or *she paused and noticed most eyes where on her* a small team could beam down to an isolted planet and observer them from a distance. *she waited for any replies* captain also i felt alot of excitement and many mixxed emotions from the planet it was hard to determine excatly all the feelings but their was alot of mixxed emotions. *she leaned back in her chair and waited to hear what the captain and commander had to say*

[T'Mar]

"The best way to observe these people is to stay hidden in invisibility suits or through interaction. For the latter method it is necessary that the awayteam is surgically altered and dressed as the inhabitants. Commander Brianon, please take detailed visual scans. Then we will decide whether we need further data from an awayteam in invisibility suits or that we will send an undercover team right away." the commodore said. "Counsellor, I need you to concern yourself with their culture and customs."

"I will also usual geological and climatological scans sir. It is useful and I know you'll find it interesting." Brianon replied.

T'Mar redirected her eyes to the science officer. "Indeed, that is good thinking. Such information is vital to our mission. You could also discuss your findings with Counsellor Rylka. There could be interesting relationships between the environment and cultural issues as landuse is mostly related to geology and geomorphology of a region."

"How is that related Sir?" Felix wondered. The crew was in for a little geography lecture.

The commodore continued. "Well Commander, the environment is very important in the way the land is used by cultures. For example, most settlements originate near water, like rivers and coasts. Water provides food for the people of these settlements. Rivers, lakes and seas contain fish. Water can be used to irrigate crops."

Everybody nodded in agreement. A while later everyone was at work. Commander Savali was working with Rylka on the cultural profile of the new species. The helmsman had gone to the shuttle bay to inspect the shuttles. Dr. Ems received the first reports of the visual scans and started making prosthetics for the under cover awayteam.

*as the captain gave out the final orders and everyone started going off into their groups she walked over to Felix* well guess we better get to work *she smiled and winked at him as the began collecting information on new culture they was about to be introduced to*

*Tiffani watched as everyone started breaking up into groups to work on their assignment* well commander *she said with a smile* guess we should get busy as well.

Felix looked at her for a moment then said: "Very well lt. lets begin , i understand you are an expert on new species and cultures, so youll be runing this and i will only be assisting"

*she smiled* not really an expert, but i've had my fair share of dealing with new species sense the academy, we should begin by looking over the information gathered.

"I agree", "Computer display all data collected on the prewarp species of the third planet"

And the data appeared on the console.

"Here we have all the data collected by scans of the surface, also the climate analysis , ground compounds , larger concentrations of inhabitants..."

*she listened as he spoke and her mind begin to drift but she quickly regathered herself and focused back on teh task at and* okay we should narrow it down some to their culture and start with one thing at a time for example on how they do things

"The universal translator will take care of the language part so we dont have to worry about that, as for how do they do things, computer displaly fertile areas of the planet "

Tiffani was carefully studying the image that the computer displayed.

Interesting *tiffani replied as she begin reading the data displayed.

While Tiffany was reading the data Felix was also going over it to see what or how are their ways different from the ones of the humans and also to see on which degree of developtement are they on.

*look here* *shepointed to some of the data on the screen* would seem that part of their land is made up of farming.

"Yes interesting , well the data shows they are prety much usual from what i see but the best way we will determine this is when we get down to the planet"

Indeed i agree *she replied* commander i think it would be good if i accompanied the away team, i could help determine their mental wellbeing

"Well i have given some hought on who i want on the away team , i will go and speak to the commodore about it now , while you finish up thi analysis"

Okay. I plan on getting a bite to eat in the messhall after imdone with this *she smiled* would you have time to join me?

"I dont think i will but will try to find some time", he said

Understood *she looked around to make sure noone was watching and gave him a light but quick kiss on the cheeck and then watched as he walked off to speak to the captain*

An away mission to an unknown planet. That sounded interesting to Meralin. Not that he was told so yet, but he was practically sure he'd come along too.

Yet what heis role was going to be he couldn't quite work out. He started hesitating.

'Don't be silly,' he mumbled as he decided to approach captain T'Mar.

'Ma'am?' 'What is is ensign.' 'I kind of wondered if I'm going to be part of the away team, and what my task would be. May I suggest I could protect the party if we get attacked or discovered by the native population.'

[Felix Savali]

Felix walked up to the captain.

"Sir , if i may have a word with you"

"Certanly commander"

"Lt Rylka and i finished the profile sbotu the culture for the away team , it shouldn't be hard for us to blend in", he said handing her the pad

"Also here is the list of people i think should go with the away team", he said handing her the other pad."

"Yes the team looks fine , and the profile looks fine also", she said

Just as they were talking Merlain approached them and ask if hell be accompanying the away team and what will he be doing.

"Commander Savali here is deciding who will go on the away team and who will not", T'Mar replied

"Ensign i have anticipated you in the away team member list already , it is sandard procedure for the ctso to accompany the away team", Felix added

Just as they were talking cmdr. Brianon came up carying a pad with the information the commodore requested from her.

"Sir , here is the info you requested about the planet."

"Sir , here is the info you requested about the planet."

"It is, of course, class M. Although it is a little further from the sun than the earth, so it tends to be a little colder. About 10 degrees celsius on average. So I suggest that the away team dress warmly.

"The energy reading indicate that there are several large cities scattered over the three of the continents. The fourth continent appears to be too close to the south pole to be supporting urban populations.

"It appears that they are approximately the technological equivalent of earth during the late 1800's, although we will know more once we get down there of course. But it is something to be prepraed for.

"There appear to be substantial agricultural areas, particularly in the regions surrounding the cities. The cities seem to be located mostly near rivers and the coast lines, as would be expected from a planet of this level of development.

"There is one city that I would recomend we take a look at." Emelye points to a place on a map that is on the PADD she is holding. "There appears to be a mid-sized city here. It should be large enough that we can pass ourselves off as travellors, or even just from the other side of town without too much difficulty. It is also near a few different types of forest and agricultural lands that I would like to study close up if I get the chance. Or at least the away team could bring me back some samples.

"The only other thing to note is the slightly increased levels of seismic activity. I don't think the planet is unstable, but we should be prepared for a tremor or two. And I have set up the sensors to continually monitor seismic movement so that we can give the away team some warning if something large is going to happen."

Emelye hands the PADD over to Cmdr. Savali.

"If it is ok, I thought I'd head down to engineering and get Meralin to put together some sort of seismic warning devices that we can give the away team that will be unobtrusive, I;m thinking something sundermal, but I would like to ask Meralin for his ideas."

[T'Mar]

T'Mar was reading reports in her readyroom as Meralin had walked in and asked to be on the awayteam.

"Commander Savali will decide about that Ensign. But I think he will want you on the team. Attend the next briefing so you can hear all about this species what you need to know. Have you ever been on an undercover anthropological survey before?"

Meralin shook his head. "No but I have had training at the Academy."

"Well then. There is a first time for everything. The first people going undercover on other worlds didn't have any experience either. But follow Commander Savali's lead. He will be in charge of the mission."

A while later T'Mar was reading Emelye's report. It looked quite interesting and she would like to go down there as well. Maybe there would be an opportunity but right now she thought that it would be better to get to know how the awayteam would perform because they were only just getting aqainted. Except for Felix and Tiffany ofcourse who seemed to know each other for a longer time. She also wanted to make sure the new navigator was settling in allright as the man had a couple of serious dealings with the JAG and was suspended two times. She had not heard much from him yet.

After the briefing, the awayteam prepared to beam down. Dr. Emms had turned them into genuinely looking native Arvalans. T'Mar saw them off. "Good luck Commander Savali. If we have time, maybe I'll go down there too. I find such missions interesting."

"We'll first see whether the planet is safe sir. I'm supposed to protect you. We have yet to meet the people and see if they'll accept us."

"I know. I will follow your progressions Felix. Have fun."

OFF: As soon as the team beams down, the extra's I've asked for could join in. Guthrdav, we haven't heard from you yet. Are you okay with this ship? I'll be back next week.

As the team was standing on the transport platform , Felix , Merlain , Emelye and Rylka , Felix was finishing his convo with T'Mar and after that he said :

"Energize", Felix said

And the transporter room of the Scavenger slowly disappeared from their view and a forest plain with trees sourounding it slowly came in their view. As they have arranged to be transported abit away from populated areas to avoid anyone seeing them.

"Ok looks like were hear people, before we move on i would like you to conduct an scan of this area , checking the soil the air , and also to locate the closest populated area, Lt. Merlain you and cmdr. Brianon will check the soil , plant life , the air the water , while myself and lt. Rylka will scan for life forms , and for the closest populated area"

"Aye sir", came the reply as they separeted

=/\=We have sucessfouly beemed down and are in the proces of scaning the soil , water air , and also looking to find the closest populated are to mingle with the locals, i will keep you posted of our findings=/\=

"Well counselor it looks like its you and me", he said as he was getting out his tricoder and begining to scan for lifeforms

"Counsellor do you sense any feelings coming from these local people?", he asked


Off:Ok we got to the planet now lets do some exploring:)

Meralin took out his tricorder, and started scanning plants randomly, as Emelye had begun scanning the soil.

There weren't any unusual plants, Meralin thought. That idea was smashed to bits only seconds later when a thorned-vein-like plant wrapped around his legs.

'Argh!' Meralin said, shaking his leg roughley. The vein wouldn't let go. Emelye turned around and looked at Meralin, shocked.

Meralin took out his phaser, and stunned the vein. Meralin and Emelye gazed at one another, and then laughed. 'Lovely plantlife,' Meralin noticed grinning. 'Are you not hurt?' Emelye asked. 'Nah, I'm fine. I just should have paid more attention.'

Practically all plants they encountered basically had the structure like plants on Earth; carbonyte based.

Exept for a three-eyed-dog-sized-squirl-like-creature, which was hiding in a bush, no they encountered no other interesting things in their search.

Meralin's leg'd started itching. After Emelye had scanned it, she told Meralin that the thorns had left some kind of poison, it didn't seem lethal; just irritating.

Next was the air, in which Meralin couldn't find anything intersting. The only thing different from the air back on Earth was that the oxygen levels were 30%, and that there's a concentration of 0.003% of gold-ions in the air.

Emelye had gone to look for water for examination. Meralin decided to look where she'd gone too, and see if he could assist.

the only emotions i can sense right now are that of the away team *replied Tiffani* but that could just mean we are to far to detect any emotions as im only half betazoid

*she looked at him and smiled then went back the scans*

Commander *she replied my scans are detecting faint lifesigns in that direction* *She pointed off directly infront of her to an area of the forest that started to part some*

[Felix Savali]

As Felix and Tiffani were walking away from the others to scan for lifesigns , Felix was hinking about this mission it was really an exciting one but he could not show those feelings to the others he is now a FO he cant show weakneses the crew and the captain rely on him.

As they detected some faint lifesigns , he decided they would do some more scans around here befor heading of to the what appeared to be a settlement.

"I detect the lifesigns also , but we better run some more scans of this are before we move on"

"Yes commander", TIff replied smiling

Felix took his tricoder and was scaning around th see if there is any animal life around , but there didnt appear to be any or there didnt appear any his tricoder could pick up.

Just as he was passing some plants looking at the tricoder he looked at the plant for a moment and saw a tentacle coming out of it , he imediatley jumped away from it.

"Counsellor , come and see this", he said as TIffani came to see what he was showing her

"AN interesting plant i would say", TIff replied

"And deadly too im detecting some sort of venom in its compound", he said

As they moved on to see if there is anything else of interest in the forest area

"So counselor what do you think of our mission?",he asked smiling

Meanwhile Emelye and Merlain were scaning the soil and the plantlife for starfleet catalogues which will undoughtoubly be created for this planet.


Off:Ok people the mission is going good so far, lets keep up the good work.

*as Tiffani continued her scans of where the faint lifeforms Felix asked her what she thought of the away mission so far* Its is interesting enough *she replied* the rest of the away team seem to be enjoying exploring a new planet

*just as she started to turn back to her tricorder something that looked like that of monkey appeared infront of her* Commander *she Yelled over at him* you might want to come over here*

Just as Commander Felix walked in her direction the animal like creature grabbed the tricorder from her *Damn* replied Tiffani.

*she looked at commander felix* looks like he wants to be a starfleet officer too *she chuckled then turned back to the animal and held out her hand* come on, give it back *she spoke softly as to not frighten the animal* Commander stay still *she commented* sudden movements my frighten him off then will lose the tricorder.

I'll send my reply tomorrow as I have a headache now and I'm going to bed. Have fun .

After runing some scans of the sourounding enviroment , Felix got called by lt. Rylka to come and see something.

"Im coming lt.", he said

And as he arrived he saw a monkey like creature holding Rylka's tricoder. The creature looked just like the Earth monkeys but was then again different in some way , Felix could not understand what.

"looks like he wants to be a starfleet officer too",Tiffani said smiling before she turned to the creture to try to get it to give the tricoder back

Felix took his tricoder and attempted to scan the creature, it was carbon based , but it had a more sophisticated biological structure than the animals on Earth did at least to his knowledge he never dedicated too much on xenobiology but he still knew his way around.

He was looking at the counsellor as she was talking to the creatur it seemed to trust her , maybe it was the efect she had on people the calming efect , maybe it worked on animals too.

As she was talking to it the creature gave her the tricoder back .

"There thats a nice little monkey", she said as she turned andstarted walking towards Felix

But it looked like the little creature liked her as she walked the creature started following her.

"Looks like you made a fan", Felix said to her smiling


Off:Hope your headache is passing and that youll get back to us soon , but health comes first , you just get yourself better and everything else will be ok.

*Tiffani Smiled as the animla followed her* it would seem so *she replied* i dont think their would be any harm in it tagging along while we scan. *she didn't really wait for Felix to reply as she turned and started to continue on, the lil animal jumping up on he*

Tiffani, becareful *yelled Felix as the small animal leapped at her*

Dont worry Commander *she chuckled* he just wants a lift* as the continued on with their scans Tiffani played a bit with the animal when suddenly her head starting hurting and she leaned against a tree* *the monkey jumped up onto a nearby branch and started emitting a small noise*

((ooc not much but was bored and wanted to post will write more when i get to it)

[T'Mar]

T'Mar had finished the usual work like reading reports and the galactic news. As she checked the sensor consoles, she saw the awayteam like several dots on a map of the area they were surveying.

Commander Savali contacted her to report the team's first findings. "This planet has an interesting flora and fauna. But you must watch out for some plants as they can easily grab your leg. We've met some kind of monkey who seems to like us"

"Monkey?" T'Mar asked.

"Yeah, he's been following us for a while now."
"He'd kinda cute" Rylka added. "He also likes tricorders"

"I hope he did not damage your equipment Lieutenant" T'Mar wondered.

"No sir. He's a good little monkey" Tiffany grinned.

"I see Commander Brianon and Lieutenant Meralin have gone off to examine the water"

"Yessir" Savali replied. "We've agreed to meet again at the nearest settlement so we can examine that together."

T'Mar nodded. "Good. Tell me when you're about to enter inhabited territory. Good luck."

"Thankyou sir. Savali out."

T'Mar looked at the datatelemetry from the awayteam. This planet seemed plain in most ways. Some things were definately peculiar as on every world. She hoped that the most dangerous plants would not be so much of a thread to the awayteam. At least the officers were well aware of the risk.

She walked to sickbay where Dr. Emms was working. "Goodafternoon Doctor" she said as she entered.

"Goodafternoon Commodore. What can I do for you?"

"I am fine doctor. I just received a report from the awayteam about interesting plantlife down on the planet. Some plants have the ability to grab other lifeforms with venomous tentacles. I am wondering if you can use the telemetry to develop an antidote in case one member of the awayteam suffers an accident. Most of these plants contain a harmless poison but few of them can be deadly."

The doctor nodded. "I see. I will need a sample to effectively develop an antidote. If the awayteam can get it for me"

"Then we will see to that doctor" T'Mar replied. They contacted Commander Savali and ordered to have a sample collected and beamed to the ship.

[emelye]

Emelye looked at the fall of the land, and theorised that there would be a creek at the bottom of the slope. She didn't need to rely on the tricorder. Her childhood on earth had prepared her well for outdoor missions. It must be hard for kids growing up on starships, she thought, camping isn't rally an option and holodecks just aren't the same.

She made her way throught the undergrwoth, keeping a careful eye out for the poisonous vines. She could hear Meralin not far behind her. Emelye could also hear water bubbbling not far in front of her. She paused for a moment as she listened. Something brushed her leg and instinctively she jumped.

All that childhood camping still hadn't taught her to jump the right way. She jumped forward, straight over a cliff.

Meralin heard her scream, and then a splash as she landed in the creek.

"Emelye" called Meralin "are you ok?"

He started making his way more quickly towards the creek, the vines made it slow progress. Finally he reached the edge of the cliff. He carefully looked down, but Emelye was nowhere to be seen.

<<T'mar here. She is about 30 metres northeast of your position. What's happened?>>

<< Sir. I think she fell in the creek>>

Meanwhile, Emelye was struggling her way to the surface. She could swim quite strongly, but the shock of the cold water had taken her breath away. She managed to get to the bank. But she was on the other side to where she had started.

Meralin appeared on the bank oppposite Emelye.

"Are you ok?" he called

As Tiff leaned against the tree Felix aproached her to check if shes alright when she started to cover her ears and started saying her head hurt.

Felix was surprised by this as he hasnt heard any sounds at all and she was covering her ears , he thought that the monkey must be emiting some sort of a sond that only betazoids can hear , so he took his phaser and set it on stunt and shot the monkey.

Soon as he did that Tiff started to get up and her headache was passing.

"Dont worry hell be ok , and well send him to the Scavie for an examination , while were at it we need to send a sample of the venom from that plant he said showing to a pip coming from the bushes"

"Ill get the venom and you can get the monkey ", TIff said

As she went to get a sample of the venom from the plant.

And Felix went to the monkey and picked it up , it was still alive only out cold , as much as an animal can be. After a few moments Tiff returned from the plant carrying a sample of the venom.

And a few moments later the monkey and the venom slowly dematerialized from the grassy floor.

"We should head to the settlement , the others must already be waiting for us there ", Felix said as they started to walk towards the settlement

T'Mar was still in sickbay when the monkey and the sample arrived there. The doctor went to work with it.

"It is rather unusual to beam up primates on such missions, ísn't it Commodore?" Jay asked.

"It is not common, no. But he has been stunned and we must make sure he is allright." T'Mar said.

The doctor examined the monkey. "Hmm, he's just fast asleep as far as I can see. He can be beamed back but I'll give him a subdermal sensor tag just in case."

Emelye stood shivering on the other bank of the stream she just managed to climb out of, her arms wrapped around her.

'Are you okay?' Meralin asked worriedly. 'I-I th-think so. J-just a little c-cold.'

Meralin quickly scanned the banks of the stream with his eyes. 'We've got to find you a way across,' Meralin noted. ''P-please...' Emelye said.

Meralin looked again and saw a part of the stream that became slightly narrower. He glanced at Emelye and said: 'I'll be right back.'

A minute later Meralin returned with a firm, long brance. Emelye still stood on the other bank, and looked at Meralin questioningly. Meralin winked, took a few steps back, and started running, the stick in front of him.

'What are you doing?!' Emelye asked. Meralin smiled as he jumped and plunged the brance in the middle of the stream. He'd done this a dozen times as a kid.

He flew and in mid-air let go of the brance. He graciously landed on the other ide of the stream.

Emelye looked surprised. Meralin walked over to her, and offered her his jacket, since she was still shivering. 'Th-thanks,' she said. 'Now we must find a way across,' Meralin said. 'Yeah.' 'I'll first inform captain T'Mar and mister Savali about our situation. Emelye nodded.

Meralin tapped his combadge.

=/\= We have managed to get some information on the plantlife and then soil. But now on our way to achieve scanning the water here miss Brianon accidentally tripped of a cliff, and landed in a stream below. She's alright, yet I think it would be wise to beam her over to the Scavenger, so she can get some dry clothes and equipment, and the doctor to see if she's alright. That is if she so desires. =/\=
