*as the teams finished gathering what information the could in the isolated area the all grouped back together and begin their way toward the nearby city. the tension was high and it was rather quit*

Tiffani: So what you guys think of the planet so far? *she questioned trying to get their persepctive on the away mission so far, she could only sense so much and knew they probably wanted to say more*

As Felix and Tiff were walking to the randevouz point , they were talking abou their views on the planet he recived a comm message.

"Well seems like the science officer likes to swim", Felix said smiling

"Yes it looks like that", Tiff replied

"As for wat i think of the planet , well it looks nice but we havent seen any of the locals yet so its too early for any judgements yet"

"How bout you what you think of it?", He asked her


Off:Ok people the mission seems to be going well but recently a bit slower hope youll continue to post regardless of the latest things happening in S47 do not let that interfeer with your posting cause if that starts to happen then S47 doesnt have a good future , dont worry about that it will all be sorted out soon

Meralin teamed up with the rest of they away team, after having made another fabulous jump over the stream. He'd have to wait till either Emelye beamed back, or till commander Savali gave some new orders.

He kept on scanning the air, processing his former orders.

Emelye got into the turbo lift just beyond the transporter room.

" Deck 6"

She was starting to drip onto the floor of the turbo lift. She felt her face flush as she thought about what had just happened. Falling into a creek, how terribly embarrassing. The only thing for it was to get back down there as quickly as possible so as not to delay the mission any longer.

Emelye arrived at her quarters and quickly stripped her drenched uniform off. She got a towel from small bathroom and dried most of the water off. Grabbing a new uniform from the drawers, she was ready to head back down to the planet in know time.

Beaming back down to the planet, Emelye caught up with the rest of the away team at the rendezvous spot.

“Well, I’ve finished collecting my water samples” she grinned at her colleagues. “Preliminary analysis suggests nothing harmful.

“Shall we go?”

[T'Mar]

T'Mar met Emelye in the corridor dripping with water. She looked like a soaked kitten in her drenged outfit. "So you took a swim Commander Brianon?"

"Yeah" she grinned. "Unintentionally though. I'll get some clean clothes on and head back. Doc says I'm fine."

"Good. You can rejoin the awayteam when you're ready."

"Yes sir. I sure will" she smiled.

T'Mar headed back to the bridge. An ensign had taken over the helm as Guth was apparently refusing to leave his quarters for unknown reasons. The awayteam would be ready to enter the settlement by now.

"T'Mar to awayteam" she opened a channel while she sat in her chair on the bridge.

"Savali here" Felix answered.

"Are you ready to go and meet the natives?"

"Yes sir" he answered. "The nearby settlement might be good to try out whether they'll accept us. There are not so many people living there. If things go wrong, there might not be so much damage done."

"Careful Felix, rumors can spread like water."

"I will sir" Felix smiled. "Not to worry. We'll behave like good Arvalans. Counsellor Rylka has explained what she could find out about their culture and customs. We'll be fine."

"Good. Let me know what the locals are like. I am also curious."

"I will sir, carefully. Savali out."

T'Mar went on to check engineering as that section was undersupervised. A junior officer assured her that the engine was functioning within normal parameters. She found nothing unusual in the logs but told the crew to keep a close watch as some systems were revised and she was interested if they performed better than before.

Next she went to sickbay to see how far the doctor was with the analysis of the samples.

After Felix and TIffani met up wit Merlain and after he finished his talk with T'Mar , Emelye has beemed down all dried up and fited with dry equiptement.

"Welcome back cmdr.", Felix said

"Thank you sir", she responded

"We can now head down to the settlement and see what the Arvalans are like , but we must be carefoul as we do not know how they will react to us , they may consider us outsiders , we will pretend to be traders from the other continent , but as we do not know how is their society they might consider us intruders and attack us , but just try to act like an Arvalan , like everyone else there is acting"

"Yes sir", they all responded

"Once we reach the settlement we will look around , and than talk to the locals and try to find as much as we can about them without rising suspicion.", he finished

And the team continued to walk towards the settlement. All around there were fields and trees growing which suggested that this settlement was agricultural. As they continued to walk they settlement started to look like a small city like the ones from 18th century Earth.

------------In the city i play the inhabitants for the moment------------------

Joik and Telah were walking down the main street carying suplies they bought at the stands which were set up along the street.They were just done with buying the groceries and were heading home, when they noticed a group of people approaching the city gates, tey diddnt look like they were from their city they tought.

"We better contact Toral about them",Joik said

"THey could be that group the messanger informed us of", he said

And they ran off to inform Toral about the newcomers , who hadnt had the slightest clue about what was unfolding in the at firs sight nice and peacefoul city.


Off:Not a very long post but anyone of you guys can continue , we finally reached the city and now the real simming begins:) If you want to add something that happened before you can just mark it as this hapened earlier or prior to the arrival to the city

*as the group neared the city Tiffani senses become to grow, she looked around and spotted two people headed back to the city, the looked as though they where in rather a hurry*

would seem that our presence has been made known *she looked in the direction of the two headed back toward the city* the seem to be rather worried..

Interesting *replied Felix* i wonder what their in such a hurry for.

Im not sure *Tiffani answered* but whatever it is their nervous about it. i can sense their apprhencion of our presence.

As the team entered the city, they could see the inhabitanzs moving away as they were approaching they were watching them strangly , and were runing away from them. They approached one of the citizens and attempted to speak to him but he acted like he didnt notice them and moved away.

"Counsleor can you sence why wre they runing away?"

"Cmdr. Brianon can you see any differences in the way we look and the way they look , because to me they look the same as our changed look"

Off: Ok people lets increase the posting rate i cant pass the whole mission myself

"I don't think there are any visual differnces, sir. I can only think of two reasons why they are running away. My first thought is that they are very shy people and are unaccustomed to seeing strangers. This is a quite small village. Counsellor, you may be better qualified to expand upon that theory.

My other thought it that they have highly developed olfactory senses, and that we are not producing the correct pheremones. In essence, we don't smell right.

I will need to get closer to sone of the natives to do internal scans to see how developed their senses are. I will also need to scan the air surriunding them to check for pheremones. If I am correct, I should be able to replicate a spray that we can use on ourselves so that we do smell right once I have enough data"

[T'Mar]

T'Mar was following the awayteam on a map display. They had moved into the village but the inhabitants seemed to flee from them.
"T'Mar to Commander Savali, what's going on?"

"We've been wondering about that too Sir. According to Emelye, they might be shy or we don't smell right. Pheromones or something. Counsellor Rylka will try to find out if it's shyness and Commander Brianon will try to find out if this is a biological matter. Either way, we're going to move more cautiously. We'll have to find a cooperative local to test which theory is correct."

T'Mar raised an eyebrow. It had not happened much before that a species could distinguish their own kind from other by features like smell. Vulcans for example knew when they were dealing with their own kind by subconcious ESP signals. One simply knew who was Vulcan or not even though a Vulcan was surgically altered. "I advise you to leave the settlement for now Commander. Look for an opportunity to get close to one individual to test Brianon's theories. If you lay low for an hour or two, one might wander into the woods thinking its safe again."

"Understood sir. I think I'm spotting someone who might be a little curious."

"Make use of that. It might very well be this individual who might seek you out."

"We will sir. It will be a great opportunity to get to know these people. Savali out."

T'Mar turned to the new navigator. "Commander Guthrdav, what do you think of this ship?"

*as the team had approached the city Tiffani could sense some moving away and others making comments about them* the only thing i can tell you right now is that they don't like us for some reason *she replied* i can sense they are afraid of us for some reason. it could be just cause they arent familiar with us but i doubt that is the case. they are hiding something, not sure what but they are and thats why their afraid.

*she moved closer to Felix* Sir, i would suggest we split up into groups maybe that would make us look less curious perhaps. we could then gather back up in a few hours and a compare notes*

*she watched as several of the town folks walked past some selling items, flowers and other things and looking in the teams direction as they made their way past*

The Avalans were most certainly a curious species, Meralin thought. He didn't know what theorie about their shyness he was believing.

Perhaps they had a very close society, and therefore resent strangers, or indeed via smell or other more devellopped senses which'd show whether someone was really who they seemed to be.

Meralin wondered, and decided to wait untill Savali'd tell them what they were going to do next.

[Felix Savali]

After he finished the talk with commodore T’Mar, Felix decided to take her advice and withdraw to the forest and wait for a curious citizen to come by their way and then to establish contact with him.

“Ok let’s withdraw to the forest and wait for one of the locals to come by our way”, Felix said

And the group returned to the forest and was examining some of the plant life when one of the citizens approached them,

“I’ve seen you in our city, who are you? “, he said

Felix decided to take lead and begin talking to the visitor.

“We are travelers from a city far from here “

“City far from here , there are no cities except ours there cant be any cities besides ours , we are the ones this land was given to”, the visitor responded

Felix made a note of this in his head it would seem these people believe their city is the only one on the planet and that’s why they are surprised to see them here. It would seem that they have already done damage here, he needed to think what to do next, how to minimize the damage, he motioned to the counselor and Emelye to talk to the visitor , while he and Merlain moved away to discuss what to do now.

'Any suggestions mister Meralin?' Savali asked. 'Hmm, this might sound strange Sir, but I think we'd better try to leave this planet in a discrete way. If the inhabitants or this village really think they're the only village and people on this planet, it might be better to leave until we know anything about how their system works with outsiders.'

Savali thought about it for a few seconds.

[tiffani]

*Tiffani listened carefully as all the others were talking keeping her mind on the local, waiting for her chance to speak as soon as merlin was done she spoke up* Commander, may i have a word in private

*Felix looked at the others* hold the opinionis for a moment

*the two walked off so they wasn't in ear shot* Cmdr *She began* i didnt want to say anything infront of the stranger as to not let him find out but he's lying.

Felix: are you sure counselor?*he said while looking back at the group*

Positive *she replied as the looked over at them* he's hiding something i dunno what or why by he is. he could be merely lying to protect his fellow people. but he's positvely lying

Felix: Very well counselor *and the two made their way back to the group*

Off (Tag Cmdr and rest away team) figure this could give us a way to get out of it and possibly figure out why the dont want us here...

Felix had to give some serious thinking on how to proceed now. The citizen was obviously for some reason lying to them but why, what possible ulterior motive could they have, unless this is some kind of a code they use. He decided to return to the citizen and speak to him again.

"Of course there aren’t any cities around, except yours that the truth", he said

"Well then I welcome you to our small community", the citizen said smiling

"Have you got a place to stay while you are visiting? » he asked

"No we were thinking of going into a hotel"

"Nonsense you are going to stay at my house my wife will be glad to have some visitors", the man said as he lead the away team back into town

A strange change in behavior with this person he thought, they must be hiding something, and for all he knew they could be leading him into a trap but he had to play along he couldn’t show the man that he doesn’t trust him.

As they were slowly moving back into town they saw some of the locals approaching them and greeting them.

Now this is really strange he thought at first they didn’t want to approach us and now they are saying hello to us, he thought as they were moving towards the house of the man who invited them to stay.

As they entered the house they saw it was allot bigger on the inside than it looked from the outside, it had several bedrooms a huge common room, a kitchen....

"Welcome, welcome", a women coming out of the kitchen said

"Darling these are some visitors I brought to stay with us while they are in town", he said

"I am Tolani ", the woman said

"I am Felix this is Tiffani, that is Emelye and this here is Merlain ", Felix said as each of the people he introduced shaked hands with the women

"Nice house you’ve got here ", he said

"Yes it was my fathers ", the man said

"He left it to me when he died», the man said

"I’m sorry about it", Felix said

"Oh don’t worry about it he was an old bugger anyway", the man said which surprised Felix as this man was speaking almost like a human from the early ages

"I would like to go to the ..."

"Ah I know what you mean", the main said

"Just up these stairs and then left"

As the man finished Felix left there and started to think about this something strange was happening, and he had to find out what before it became too late, he left the others to speak to the man, but he had to return soon.

'Erm, lovely place you've got here,' Meralin said hesitating, trying to get a conversation started. The man smiled friendly, yet indicating that he was not going to say something to the same statement again.

'Can I offer you something to drink or eat?' the lady of the house offered way too kindly. Emelye, Tiffani and Meralin politely shook their heads.

Tolani made her way back to what probably was the houses kitchen, and returned a few minutes later with a tray full of glases and a bowl containing a watery substance. She smiled again and said: 'In case you would become thirsty, just take what you want.'

Meralin felt strange, as if there was, well, he couldn't quite describe it, perhaps, yes, perhaps as if something was in the room that noone could see, but that was spying on them, hearing and seeing everything that was said and done.

Emelye had started a conversation about nothing with the all too kind man, and Tiffani stared bored at the substance in the bowl.

Tolani went up the stairs, and arriving at the floor above she all of a sudden asked: 'Whom are you talking to mister Felix?' 'What? Erm, noone, I was eh, humming, I eh tend to do that when I'm at the toilet,' Felix muffeled voice muttered from within the bathroom. 'Okay,' the lady said, disbelief could be clearly heard in her voice. She went down stairs again, and one minute later Felix appeared again.

'You will have to eat something before you go to sleep,' the man of the house asked kindly. 'Erm, yeah, I eh, guess so,' Felix said. He didn't quite know how to handle the situation, neither did it seem Emelye, Tiffani or Meralin would.

Dinner was eventually served, and it hadn't tasted bad. Meralin had secretly scanned it with his tricorder, while the man and his wife were in the kitchen getting them another drink. The scan had shown nothing like poison or such things alike, and therefore Meralin and the others decided to just participate in the meal.

'Well,' Meralin eventualy started, after desert (which was quite delicious), 'has this town like, got a wild nightlife?' The man and his wife smiled, something they appearently couldn't stop doing all day. 'Not really,' the man eventually said, 'but I'd be happy to show you around town, which'll be fully lit by our three moons, quite a spectacular sight.' 'Sounds like fun,' Meralin said right away, he'd love to get out of the house for some time.

The after dinner talk had passed, and the evening had begun. At the fall of night, the man and his wife stood up, and he said: 'Shall we?'

OFF: I dont really know for sure, but I probably won't be able to post for two weeks, it could be that I will, but if I don't, you know not to worry.

[T'Mar]

Felix called to T'Mar to report about the strange behaviour of the natives. The fact that Rylka thought that the awayteam's host was hiding something meant that the awayteam had to be careful.

"Be wary Commander. Keep your eyes open. If Counsellor Rylka had not sensed anything about this man, it would be normal behaviour for these people. Try to find an explanation for this. At sign of significant danger, get out discretely as possible. Call me back tomorrow."

Felix nodded. "I will sir. I think I'll enjoy myself here. The food is good and the weather nice."

" Do that Felix. Have fun."

A while later T'Mar sat analysing her data and reading reports, trusting in Felix that the team will be allright.

*tiffani had slowly moved her way back out of the group and was standing near the entrance from the kitchen to the living room area leaning against the framework watching the group and smiling a bit at how pleasant the sitation seemed to be, her mind wondering over to felix watching him talking with the man of the house about different things when she was suddenly startled out of train of thought when Tolani spoke up next to*

Something troubling you young one *replied Tolani*

Oh no, not at all, i was just watching Them all, its so lovely when complete strangers can get along so well *she smiled looking over at felix while he was completely caught up in conversation*

yes it is a nice adventure to meet someone new *the lady smiled* you love him deeply dont you *she questioned catching Tiffani off guard*

Uh? *she replied* who? *she looked at the woman*

Him *she nodded toward Felix* you have been watching him most the evening with great admiration and twinkle in your eye *she smiled*

*Tiffani smiled momentarily regaining her composure* yes, he means a great deal to me *she looked back to the lady* how did you know so well? *enquired Tiffani*

I can tell it in your eyes when you watch him *she smiled* the same way i was when i first feel in love with my husband. You remind me alot of myself when i was young and in love. *she looked at the group and smiled*

It is nice feeling one i wouldn't give up for anything in the world *just then the group started to stand as the man and Tolani moved together* shall we call it a night *came her rasp voice* Indeed we shall

You guys can share the guest quarters their is only 2 so you will have to share or one of you if so desired can sleep down here *replied Tolani* tomorrow we will take you back into the City and you can buy some cloths and such *they then turned and headed to their bedroom for a good nights sleep*

*the away team watched as the headed to sleep then joined together to discuss the days event*

After finishing his talk with T'Mar Felix returned to the group and joined the interesting chats which were going with the man and his wife.

As they were walking thru the town which was enlightened with three moons they saw allot of people walking around, some were kissing, and it looked like they were back on Earth in the early days in countries where there was no war.

The groups was listening to the man and his wife explaining to them what was in which building , when was their town founded and they were all taking notes of this , it was certainly going to benefit the federation database. Felix thought.

--------------------------After the walk------------------------

They were all back in the house of their hosts. And their hosts informed them about that either someone is going to share a room or someone is going o stay down here.

And to pass this problem Tiffani and Felix agreed to share a room and Merlain and Emelye each get one room for themselves.

After they chatted a little more about their impressions of the town with their hosts they decided to turn in.

Felix and Tiffani climbed up the stairs and went to the room they were supposed to share. It was a nice room a bit out of date as it was a not too much technically developed civilization.

"So, were finally alone", Felix said to Tiffani

"Yes we are, I couldn’t stand to be apart from you any longer", she said as she came to him and gave him a kiss which was not as good as usual as they had the markings of the alien civilization all over them so that they could blend in.

"But first just to be sure", Felix said

And he took his tricoder out and scanned the room everything appeared normal no devices of any kind were found in this room, but one can never be too careful.

Then after making sure everything was in order Felix sat on the bed and Tiffani sat next to him.

"So", he said kissing her, "What do you think about these people", He asked

[Felix Savali]

*Tiffani smiled as he leaned in and kissed her, returning the kiss* they seem nice, but I still sense they are hiding something, I dunno it just could be the fact of a new civilization that has me on edge but a part of me says their not telling the whole truth

"Well that would certainly explain why they first rejected us and then accepted us", he said while continuing to kiss her, "There is defiantly something strange going on here, and to be honest it’s got me wandering, as I have no idea as to what they are hiding"

*she pulled away only for a brief second to snuggle up on the bed under the blankets waiting for him to join* indeed. Although Tolani did make me a little curious, she was able to detect we was in love without a real signs *she chuckled*

"Hmm interesting , this could mean they have telepathic abilities and if that is correct then they might find out that we are not who we claim to be and then again if this is correct , we are risking of breaking the prime directive", he said while he was joining her

*snuggling up against him* but why would they hide their Telepathic abilities unless their was something more to it?

"Well , they would hide them that is we still don’t know much about them , as for all we know they might be spies for the Romulan Empire , like I said they definitely are hiding something.", he said as he gave her another kiss

Perhaps they are but for now let’s forget about them *she smiled mischiefly* its going to be a long day tomorrow and we should get some rest

"Depends", he said, "On how you define rest", he said smiling evilly and giving her another kiss

*she chuckled softly* we better be quit don’t want to disturb the others *she replied while return the kiss and giving into the passion*

"You are probably right ", he said while wandering off somewhere nice and cozy

___next morning___ *a knock came at the door* wake up sleepy heads *came a rasp voice quickly reminding Tiffani of where they was at *she Nudged Felix stirring him from his sleep* *Tiffani Yelled back* were awake be down in a bit *she smiled at Felix as he opened his eyes* Good morning she said *gently giving him a kiss* better hurry and get dressed got a long day

After Tiffani and Felix got dressed they went downstairs to join the others who were already having breakfast.

"So, you had a good night sleep I believe? » Tolani asked

"Yes we did ", Felix and Tiff responded

"You know what would be nice if you were to join me in the morning shopping"; Tolani said to Tiffani

"Tiffani looked at Felix in the way of asking if she can and as this people haven’t shown any bad intentions he nodded for her to go ahead.

*Tiffani smiled in and sent a message using her telepathic abilities* Imzadi *was all that she sent letting Felix know she was grateful* Then we shall go soon. *the two said their goodbyes to the group, Tiffani resisting the urge to hug Felix as the left, with the rest of the away team watching it would of been inappropriate she felt to show her affection to them on a mission*

*as Tiffani and Tolani headed into the city for the day of shopping the began talking
althought tiffani was happy to make a new friend she still felt uneasy, not sure if it was
the first time she had been seperated from the group or the bad vibes she was getting*

*taken back by the sudden question she smiled briefly* not really, we only met a few
months back.

I see *came Tolani's voice* is something wrong you seem a little hesitant about
being here with me.

*Tiffani wasn't aware that she was putting off such vibes* um. no its just my mind was
elsewhere sorry if i made you feel unwanted or anything *She smiled as the continued onwards
picking up a few items here and their*

*as the walked the came near an alley like road, and she felt hands on her and tried to scream
but her sounds were muffled by the hands over her mouth, Moments later she found herself tied
up in a somewhat empty building, their was only a few tables and chairs and some books on shelfs,
and she was sitting in a chair with her arms and feet tied, she tried to speak only to be muffled by a
cloth that was covering her mouth*

*suddenly she heard a voice* do not be alarmed, we had to be sure you would not scream *came the voice* someone
will remove the cloth from your mouth but do not scream or it will be replaced *the voice echoed again*

*as the gag was removed Tiffani coughed a bit from the dryness in the room, after getting her breath and collecting
her thoughts she finally spoke up* Where am i? *she questioned, a bit frightened, why hadn't she sensed the deception
before hand she thought, so many things raced through her mind then she thought of the away team and her heart
panicked, was they okay she tried to focuse on them to see if she could sense them but apparently she was to far away
from them to sense their thoughts and feelings, damn it she though why couldn't i been a full betazoid*

*suddenly the voice spoke again* You are among friends, do not be frightened *came the voice* *she then realized she had
not seen nore heard Tolani's voice she wondered what had happened to her* What about The girl who was with me, where is she?
*questioned Tiffani*

I am here *came Tolani's voice* Do not worry we will be untying you soon but first we needed to make sure you would
not run. their is many things we need to discuss

*Tiffani's mind raced as she could not sense any of the people in the room, why couldn't she sense
them she thought. she was feeled with fear as she had never been in such a sitation, she only
hoped that felix and the rest of the away team was okay, she was confused as to why she had been kidnapped*

[tiffani]

*tiffani was in shock, why was Tolani treating her in this manner after only welcoming her and the rest of the team in her home the previous night, how come she couldn't sense her presense she was filled with questions but knew the would all be answered in due time*

Dont be alarmed *came Tolani's voice* we are all friendly people

Friendly *commented Tiffani* you kidnap me and claim to be friendly people

we had too *replied Tolani* it was the only way we could make sure you wouldn't run and tell others.

Tell others what? *Tiffani questioned, although she knew something was going on she wasn't excatly sure what, then she heard a mans voice*

the techinues must of worked she hasn't sensed us yet *came the mans voice*

Indeed *commented Tolani* but we must still remain careful. *Tolani then spoke up louder* You see *she said* I know you are not from around here.
