The ship shook as Charlotte was about to step out the turbolift. The Hanson had been hit. As soon as she got her balance back the young woman ran to a free console. The sensors array had been targeted. Short-range sensors were offline. Charlotte knew this wasn’t good for a ship about to get in a close fight.
“I want a team right now on those sensors and I want those back online.” She knew she had to sound a little ridiculous shouting this way to experienced engineers but she had to make them hurry up.
As she was loading again the files she was working on she called Lt Kroth, the same one Commander Smith had put in charge of the impulse engines welfare. “Lieutenant we need to create an EM field of our own using a part of the engines coils. We need to reroute power through the coils to create magnetism of a charge opposite to the EM weapon then to build this field around the Hanson.”
“This is not an easy task Cadet. Plus this will lower general power and can interfere with our sensors and warp field.” The engineer sent back.
“Isn’t it better than having no power at all ? As soon as the Ferengi will find the way to use this weapon again, we’ll be defenceless.”
“Defenceless if they hit us. Maybe motionless with your solution. That’s your choice.”
Charlotte looked at the lieutenant, she didn’t understand why he wasn’t using his rank’s prerogative. But she hadn’t the time to give this detail a thought. “Start working on those coils, I’m giving you the magnetic settings we need.”
The lieutenant went away with his instructions and Charlotte tapped her combadge.
=/\=Boissey to the Bridge. Basic short-range sensors will be back online in… (she looked down at the repair team’s report) about ten minutes. We’re diverting some of the coils to create an EM field which will hopefully protect us against an EM wave. Power will be lowered and sensors disturbed but still available. However there is a risk the EM field might interfere with the warp field and prevent us to use the warp drive correctly.=/\=
=/\=How long would this take to have this magnetic protection ?=/\= The admiral asked.
=/\=I can’t tell admiral.=/\=
=/\=I want an answer in five minutes from now.=/\=
The Hanson shook again under fire. Charlotte clung to her console to keep standing.

It had happened so fast, he didn't know what to think. They had just received conformation that a high ranking Starfleet admiral had been kidnapped and his friend, S'reena Hope, was close to committing treason.
"Commander get the Areowing back into the shuttlebay," Admiral Drew ordered.
"Understood," Jason said as he went about trying to get control of the shuttle. Unfortunately for him it was not possible, S'reena knew what she was doing and it would be extremely difficult getting control.
"Mr. Richards, I need you to scan the shuttle, find a way to stop them without destroying the shuttle," Jason ordered as he tried to contact the Areowing once again.

“Red Alert!” Drew ordered, “Max, find a way to get control of the aerowing, Charlotte, how are you doing with those scans?”
When receiving the orders, Max turned towards the console. He was really nervous and scared. There are the first time that Max was in danger.
"Mr. Richards, I need you to scan the shuttle, find a way to stop them without destroying the shuttle," Jason ordered as he tried to contact the Areowing once again.
"Yes Commander!" said scared, treating to make contact with the Aerowing.
Max had to think quickly. contact the Aerowing was something easy, but bring them of return was something much complicated...
Then, the sensors returned online.
"Admiral, I have a communication with the Aerowing, but he is very weak..." Max watched the console and he said "...the Tractor Beam is ready to fire!"
All in the bridge watched to him.

Daya held on to anything that happend to be bolted down when the ship started spinning around and what not, lucky for him, he closed his eyes so he wouldnt see anything. When they stopped he opened his eyes again and could tell no one really liked what had just happened.
The Aerowing rocked violently as the Marauder opened fire on them. "Disable their weapons!" S'reena cried at Daya, as she held on to her console. The Aerowing rocked again and she lost her grip, tumbling backwards out of control. She grunted as air was knocked from her lungs upon impact and scrambled back to her feet. "At these times, I wish we had a cloaking device," she growled as she climbed back into her seat. "Daya, you may also wish to knock out their propulsion systems."
"At these times i wish i had 4 arms" Daya yelled back as his finger moved across the console with finese and lots of speed. Firing the phasers, it took awhile to take out the weapons systems, "oh torpedos" Daya said smiling, after he received a look from Commander Hope, he decided against the torpedos and fired again with his phasers.
"weapons are offline, and lucky for you they are dead in the water" he said after rereading the scans on his console. Daya was chuckling when he heard the familiar crackling of a failing comm link. "........Hope..........back..........beam...." Daya reached over and tapped the comm link, shutting it off. "oops, did any one hear anything?" he said straching his head

Cadet Henchard had felt the blast rock the ship. Soon, injuries would follow. Mostly severe burns, Henchard expected, with a few injuries sustained from falls. P'Radikus felt the blast, as well, but it had a completely different effect on him. The elderly Vulcan sat up on the medical bed. Despite all of the Vulcan's efforts and training, his strain at doing so was visible. "It's them!" croaked P'Radikus. "I need to talk to your commanding officer!" "Not quite yet," Cadet Henchard attempted to soothe P'Radikus. "Now's not the time for you to pass out from overexertion. Our crew is highly qualified to deal with this sort of situation." "Noooooo...." moaned P'Radikus. His eyebrows furrowed as he put forth all of his strength and tumbled off of the bed. Cadet Henchard attempted to rush to the aged Vulcan's aid, but P'Radikus batted at the cadet with his flailing arms. "Noooo.... They'll destroy you... You must believe me!" P'Radikus began to crawl towards the door of sickbay. Cadet Henchard tapped his comm badge. "Henchard to bridge. The survivor of the merchant vessel claims to have vital information regarding our attacker. I'm bringing him up now." Cadet Henchard ordered a trainee to set up a custom antigrav cart that he could use to bring P'Radikus to the bridge. After preparations were complete, Henchard took the rig and moved it to the turbolift. "Bridge." The turbolift moved upwards toward the bridge.

ooc: time to move along...we need to get the admiral or we drag this forever...
"Thank you commander," S'reena grinned, "I doubt the admiral will the too thrilled about you having done that but distraction is the one thing we can't use right now. Isis, have you found somewhere we can beam through in the Marauder's shields yet?"
Isis nodded in response and pointed out a weakness in the shields of the Ferengi vessel. "Right here," she said.
S'reena nodded in response. "Well done cadet, now let's get ready to beam aboard." She gazed at Daya and Shinsei. "One of you will have to remain behind. Daya since you're most combat worthy I think you'd be the best option to guard the Aerowing. With your combat skills it's least likely the Aerowing will fall into Ferengi hands." The Romulan nodded towards the pilot. "Grab your gear commander, you're with me. You too Isis."
She pulled up the specs of the Marauder and downloaded them into three tricorders. "Best guess for us is the cargobays. Daya beam us over to a covert space as close as possible to the cargobays. Make it the port ones, then we'll move starboard as we progress. Since we may be dealing with a sensormask, we have to be extra careful."
<Shinsei/Isis>
Daya looked about to protest when S'reena cast him a grim look and he forewent any further protest. "Yes ma'am," he responded flatly, looking none too pleased, "setting co-ordinates."
Seconds later, the three women were beamed aboard the Ferengi vessel and the took out their phasers and tricorders. "No visible sign of the admiral," S'reena commented, "let's move on."

OOC:
My apologises for not posting sooner, I have been experiencing some personal problems these last few days, and haven’t had the energy to post.
Location: Bridge
Drew watched the forward view screen in shock, as the aerowing flew towards the larger Feregni Marauder firing her phasers. It had only been a few minutes since S’reena had stolen the small vessel, but to Drew that had seemed like an entirety.
"Admiral,” Max Richards called out, “I have a communication with the Aerowing, but it is very weak..." Max watched the console and he said "...the Tractor Beam is ready to fire!"
“Then by all means Mr. Richards, engage tractor beam.” Drew ordered his hands now clinched together into fists.
Unexpectedly the bridge shook violently just as Max moved to engage the tractor, causing Drew to fall back into his chair.
“What was that?” Drew asked, praying it wasn’t the Shadow.
“All our tractor emitters just blew out!” Max reported, shock in his voice, “all tractor beams are now offline.”
“S’reena!” Drew cursed.
“Admiral, they are trying to access our communication systems,” Reynolds reported, “shall I disable Commander Hope’s command codes?”
Drew looked up at this Ops Officer, it hadn’t even occurred to him that S’reena might try to use her command codes to stop the Hanson.
“Lock her out,” Drew ordered, “and patch my console through to the communication link.”
Pulling up his command console, Drew began to punch in a series of commands; but the link to the Aerowing was failing, before he could do anything substantial the channel died.
“We have lost communication,” Max reported.
Drew hit his console in frustration. S’reena had clearly been planning this for a while.
“Admiral, the Shadow is closing to weapons range,” Max reported, panic in his voice.
“Bridge to Engineering,” Drew called out, without missing a beat, “are you ready to start the EM field?”
“Aye Admiral,” Charlotte replied.
“Do it,” Drew ordered, closing the channel. “Lock all weapons onto the Shadow,” Drew ordered, “with our new protection we should be able to withstand their worst.”
Just as Drew gave that order, the turbolift opened to reveal Cadet Henchard and his Vulcan patient.
“Welcome to the bridge,” Drew said, turning round to face his visitors, “you are just about to see some action.”
“Cadet Richards, transfer tactical control to your console,” Drew ordered, “target the Shadow’s weapons and engineering systems, I want them disabled.”
OOC:
Cadet Richards, I know Tactical isn’t your area, but I thought you might enjoy getting the chance to take part in the action.
Cadet Henchard, please feel free to have Drew and P'Radikus discuss the situation, as you say, he might be able to help us in some way.
Cadet Boissey, I believe your LOA has started, hence I haven’t set anything up for you, if I am wrong, just let me know.

As Charlotte setted the new EM fonction into action, the power system lights fluctuated a second then settled and the cadet noted the systems situation.
“I’m returning to the bridge to coordinate. Lt Kron you’re back in charge here.”
Charlotte headed to the turbolift and went back to deck 1. She discretly went to the console she was previously occupying.
“EM field steady. All systems in function. We just need our first test.” She said with an uncertain voice.
OOC : a small post to keep contact with the action. I'm on LOA but I can post now and then

“Cadet Richards, transfer tactical control to your console,” Drew ordered, “target the Shadow’s weapons and engineering systems, I want them disabled.”
Max could not think tha was happening. The tractor beam had not worked and that aerowing was in danger. The order of the admiral had surprised him, was much responsibility, but he knew that he could do it.
He manipulated the console, he would have to tacticals to his reach and he began to with his work. Verifying the Shadow with the short-range sensors.
Suddenly, Max noted something strange...
"I cannot intercept the Shadow, it has a security system or something similar." said Max.
"Commander?" Drew asks Reynolds.
The Commander approached the console and checked what Max had said.
"That strange..." the instructor murmured.

When the three had materialised, they looked around, then ran to the opposite wall, ducking under a walkway.
"What is our situation Cadet?" asked S'reena.
"We are in the lower cargobay, and i read four lifesigns gaurding the door out side" replied Isis.

Crystal nodded when S'reena told her that she would be coming along. Then there was the brief disorientation of transporting to the Ferengi ship, and S'reena, Isis and Crystal looked to see if Admiral McCormick happened to be around. Unfortunately it wasn't going to be anywhere near that easy.
Isis explained that there were guards about, so Crystal decided to poke about the cargobay to see if there were any hints to where Admiral McCormick was.
Commander Hope had mentioned a sensor mask, which would foil not only the Aerowing's scanners, but also the tricorders. If the Ferengi just added a hologram to cover up whatever they were hiding, which Crystal guessed they would, it could be quite difficult to find the Admiral. Still, there was a way. It would take a while, but the tricorders would be able to detect a slight increase in energy produced by the combined sensor masks and holograms.
Crystal thought she had picked one up, and tried a variety of triggers to deactivate it. The sensor mask came down and she recognized the signals as belonging to Romulan ale just before she was transported away. “Darn,” Crystal muttered. Evidently her transgression of the Marauder's security had been noticed, Crystal hoped the others would be more careful than she had been.
Crystal rematerialized in some sort of cell, with a few Ferengi standing in front of the cell. Presumably this was wherever the Ferengi kept prisoners, which meant Admiral McCormick might be around here. Crystal colored suddenly, as her rematerialization finished and she found out the Ferengi had left something pretty important behind, her uniform. Crystal sighed softly, crossed her arms in front of her, and glared at the Ferengi.
“What are you doing on our ship?” one of the Ferengi asked Crystal.
“I was looking for Romulan ale to steal,” Crystal lied. “But now it looks like I'm going to have to look for clothes too.” Crystal ran her tongue over her teeth, trying to focus her mind on that and disguise her obvious embarrassment as anger. It wasn't that hard to get angry at Ferengi anyway, they always seemed to be, if not causing trouble, aware of, and selling tourist tickets to, it.
“Are you here alone?” one of the Ferengi asked.
“Of course,” Crystal said, then started to talk about how she had slipped aboard the Starfleet vessel to come over here, and how she really wasn't in Starfleet at all. She could tell the Ferengi didn't believe her, but it did keep them from asking any relevant questions. And the lies distracted her, keeping her thinking about something else, other than how she was going to strangle the Ferengi as soon as she got out, and especially other than the fact that she was completely naked.

“Cadet Richards, transfer tactical control to your console,” Drew ordered, “target the Shadow’s weapons and engineering systems, I want them disabled.”
Jason couldn't help but question this order, but if any cadet could handle the extra stress of controling another system it was Max Richards. As soon as the control was transferred, both Jason and his cadet targeted the strange Shadow ships weapons systems. Jason was glad to see once again that his cadet thought like him, but they were having problems.
"I cannot intercept the Shadow, it has a security system or something similar." said Max.
"Commander?" Drew asks Reynolds.
As Jason looked at the readings, the Shadow ship fired her weapons which was not having any trouble hurting thier shields. The readings were extremely strange, he had never seen a configuration like that.
"That strange..." Jason said without thinking," Admiral, the ship has some shields that I have never seen, but I do think that with a right polaric explosion we could possibly distablize those shields."
As he waited for the Admiral's response, Jason continued to fire on the enemy ship.
"Cadet Richard's what do you think?" Jason asked.

"Yes that certainly makes things easier," S'reena commented as she picked up the CNO's uniform, "though I doubt she'll be happy there..." She indicated the commander's complete attire. "Ferengi are prone to unclothing their female prisoners."
Then she fell silent as she realised that Shinsei may not be the only one they stripped of her attire. "Oh bugger," she cursed as she ran off, motioning for Isis to follow her, "Shinsei will not have time to get dressed, and we have to hurry now!"
S'reena yanked a large curtain from the nearest wall as they ran past and slung it over her shoulder. "Which way?" she enquired, motioning for Isis to take the lead. "If they got Crystel in their brig, chances are McCormick can't be far off....and if I'm right about this, I daresay the admiral will be pleased when we get her at least some attire."
The Romulan remembered a time when a previous Hanson CO was kidnapped by Ferengi and had to be rescued. She had been found unharmed, if not with her pride somewhat dented. And now that they had abducted yet another female admiral, as well as now captured the Hanson's CNO, S'reena feared for the worst.
"Good thing we left Daya behind," she chuckled, "the commander and the admiral wouldn't have been pleased to be rescued by hormone-driven young men!"

"Well it could be worse!"
"How?" asked S'reena.
"This could be a Klingon ship, and the Admiral a Tribble...... Ill stop!"
The two women ran along the wall and stopped next to a door when Isis held up her hand.
"I'm detecting 1 human and 3 ferengi in here and 1 human and 5 ferengi in that room over there." Isis pointed to the door on the opposite side of the corridor. "The one we are next to has Crystal in it, so i think thats the best one to go into first!"
The Commander was going to ask what they were going to do, when, from around the corner, stepped out a ferengi Taar whom Isis recognized.
"What are you two...... hmm...... hee-hee...... hew-mons doing here?" He asked.
"I'm not a human, Lopiedi!" cried Isis, as she jumped at him.
The caught such a kick on the back that he slid down the corridor and hit a bulkhead knocking him out.
"What the hell was all that about?" whispered S'reena. "Are you trying to get us caught? Those ferengi will hear us!"
"No they won't! The doors have sound proofing on them so that no-one can hear their "business". And about the Taar......" Isis gave him a light kick, "He stole something out of my quarters whilst I was in the sonic-shower on the transport ship when I was on my way to the starbase."
She looked down and saw something on his belt.
"The little s**! He's been carrying them around with him! Lets see what he has put on them then!"
Isis looked at the Commander's blank expression.
"These are personal holo-disguises that I designed. I will show you."
She held one in the air and turned it on. A 3d picture of a man appered. Isis pressed a button and the man disappered and a woman replaced him. Isis flicked through the images watching S'reena, and stopped when S'reena's face reddened.
"Go back two." said the romulan.
Isis did so, looking confused, but her expression changed as she saw the image that S'reena had menchioned.
"That tiny piece of s......!" The rest of her were drowned out by a torpedo hit above them. "Still, it gives me an idea!"

Drew looked at his own screen in frustration as he realised the formidable weaponry of the Hanson was hardly making a dent in the shields of the Shadow class ship. Even the few quantum torpedoes they had fired had not had any noticeable effect.
“Admiral,” Jason called, taking Drew’s attention from his screen, the ship has some shields that I have never seen, but I do think that with a right polaric explosion we could possibly destabilize those shields."
“Try it,” Drew ordered, looking to the viewscreen to watch as the Shadow ship came back round for another pass.
“Admiral, if I may suggest something,” Cadet Henchard suddenly said, walking up to the command chair.
“By all means Cadet,” Drew replied.
“Well sir,” Henchard began, “I have been speaking with P'Radikus here, and I believe he may be of some use to us.”
Drew looked over at the Vulcan patient with interest, after finding him in a poor state on the Bristol, he had all but forgotten about the patient. It certainly hadn’t occurred to him that he might be of some use to them, his thoughts had been too occupied with finding Admiral McCormick.
“Let’s go to my ready room,” Drew said, rising from his chair and walking across the bridge, “it is a bit quieter there.”
Inside his private office, Drew offered the Henchard and P’Radikus a seat, and tried to ignore the two hostile ships that he could see from his window.
“So, P’Radikus, what can you tell me?” Drew asked.
“Before my ship was disabled, we were able to initiate a detailed scan of the Romulan craft,” P’Radikus explained, “we were able to learn some of their secrets.”
“Such as?” Drew asked, trying not to press the Vulcan, who was after all still recovering from a nasty injury.
“A number of weak points along their shield grid, as well as along the hull,” P’Radikus answered.
“Can you remember those details?” Drew asked eagerly.
“Yes,” P’Radikus replied simply.
“Good,” Drew said slowly, “very good, Cadet Henchard, would you mind escorting Mr. P’Radikus back to the bridge and allow him access to a workstation, making sure to relay any results to tactical?”
“Of course,” Michael replied, leading P’Radikus back out onto the bridge. Drew watched them leave, and then turned round to look back out of his window. He could just see the silver outline of the aerowing a short distance away, close to the Ferengi vessel. According to the ship’s computer, several crewmembers were missing, including Commanders Daya and Shinsei, S’reena was certainly going to have a lot to answer for when she got back onboard. Taking a deep breath, Drew pulled down on his uniform jacket, and walked back out onto the busy bridge, which was still lit by the flashing lights of red alert.
“Report,” Drew called out as he sat back in his chair, “I want some good news.”
OOC:
Cadets, excellent work, lets start to wrap this one up, I sense graduation may be nearing…

A minite later Isis was pushed into Crystal's cell block by the Taar.
"I've just found this one trying to get into my quarters" he said with a slightly femine voice.
"Why is you voice slightly high?" asked one of the others.
"She err...... kicked me!" Said the Taar. "Here are their uniforms!"
He threw the clothes at the one who had spoken.
"Get her in that cell with the other one!"

The two ferengi that wernt ocupied lowered the forcefield and went to put Isis in the cell when she shouted "Now!"
She and the Taar leapt at the ferengi that were near Isis and Crystal jumped at the one holding the two uniforms.

Crystal was getting bored with the Ferengi's lack of leading questions or apparent ability to get answers when Crystal said she wouldn't give them, when she heard the sudden surge of ship sounds that resulted from the sound-proof door being opened. Crystal started slightly to recognize Isis being shoved in first, wondering what was going to happen now with the apparently botched rescue attempt.
But while Crystal wasn't at first sure who the Ferengi was that brought Isis in, 'he' sounded suspiciously like S'reena. Crystal immediately prepared for the trouble she was sure would be forthcoming, since she thought S'reena and Isis had something planned. When the forcefield lowered Crystal didn't wait for Isis to say anything, but moved near to the one holding her uniform. She punched the Ferengi, then grabbed the clothes he dropped. She didn't take time to put them on, but instead found her phaser from among the bundle and shot, to stun, the Ferengi.
Crystal looked at Isis and S'reena, to find that they had been able to take care of themselves. “The Ferengi will have noticed what just happened,” Crystal said, looking at her uniform regretfully, since she knew she didn't have time to put it back on. Fortunately she was saved by further extreme embarrassment by S'reena's foresight to bring along a curtain-like cloth that Crystal wrapped around herself.
Crystal looked at Isis, since the cadet didn't have clothing herself. But S'reena deactivated the holo-disguiser and handed it to Isis, so the cadet could create a uniform around her. At Crystal's pointed glance at her own clothing-or sheetlike attire, S'reena shrugged.
“Do you know which of the cells Admiral McCormick is in?” Crystal asked.

ooc: S'reena turns green, not red......no biggy ic: S'reena didn't really like the Ferengi disguise but it certainly helped them locate Shinsei. The Romulan handed the holoimager back to the cadet to use on herself and handed Shinsei half of the curtain she'd ripped off the wall earlier; there was no time for the commander to get properly dressed. "The Aerowing can replicate a new uniform," she commented as they hurried along, "Isis found the admiral though it's beyond me how she so quickly circumvented the sensormask that was in place earlier....unless that torpedoblast from just now knocked out all internal sensors on this vessel." They had no way of knowing, but the three women hurried along as fast as possible, especially with Shinsei trotting along on bare feet. "Isis, which way?" S'reena called back at her cadet and Isis silently pointed the way. They had to hurry now, as when and if Taar would regain consciousness they could be certain help would be on the way. And three women against half an army of Ferengi, however cowardly Ferengi were, were not favourable odds. Armed with phasers, and Isis with her odd item, they barged into the next cargobay annex cell and stunned the Ferengi on sight. There, tucked away in a cell and equally stripped of her attire sat Admiral Karynn McCormick, looking none too pleased about her sitation. Quickly disengaging the forcefield, S'reena threw the remaining part of the curtain at the admiral. "No time to get properly dressed, sorry," she called, "we've got to hurry now. The Ferengi are on to us and I doubt Daya can keep the Aerowing in one piece for much longer." ~~ somewhat later ~~ The four women reboarded the Aerowing, Shinsei and McCormick first getting properly dressed upon which Shinsei retook her post at the helm. "Set course back for the Hanson," S'reena ordered, then tooked at Daya. "Commander, you'll have to do your job now," she suggested, holding out her hands to him, "you're going to have to place me under arrest." Daya shook his head, ignoring her statement, instead focussing on the Marauder. S'reena sighed, she knew it was going to happen anyway. "You might as well," she insisted, as she put her phaser aside. She could tell Admiral McCormick was rather confused, but she couldn't bring herself to tell her. When Daya didn't respond, she turned to Shinsei, who equally ignored her. Finally she turned to Isis. "You do it then," S'reena ordered, but even the cadet refused to do it. "I am taking sole responsebility," S'reena spoke up, "I forced you all to come." She held up her hand when Shinsei seemed about to protest. "I forced you all," she repeated, "you will not be held accountable." The Romulan sat back in her seat, surprised at the loyalty these officers were showing her in their refusal to arrest her. She knew McCormick wouldn't do it either, so she didn't even bother to ask. Instead, she steeled herself for the tirade she knew was lying ahead of her. She wasn't proud of having resorted to a sort of mutiny, but she wasn't entirely ashamed of it either. <Isis if you wanna do that mindmeld....you can do it now, or later in the brig> ~~ on the Hanson ~~ Dharma Meri looked up from the science station. "Admiral, Aerowing is on approach and requesting to dock." She cast an expecting glance at the Hanson's CO. "I'll send security down there," she offered, when he didn't react. The Trill could tell the human admiral was furious, which was just as well. ~a romulan in command~ she thought grimly ~about time she got kicked off...I hope he does this time...he's too soft~ It was fortunate for her that Drew was no telepath, but Dharma would go at any length to get the Romulan replaced. "Admiral?" she repeated, waiting for response.

Location: Sickbay
The ferengi where smart, Brelev had to give them credit for that. They had figured out this area was prime scavanging ground, defended themselves against the EM field and on top of everything, they'd masterd a Romulan vessel. Sickbay was, as a result, busy. Thankfully few of the injuries where of a life threatening nature if tended to immediatly. So when Henchard needed to take P'radikus to the Bridge, Brelev let him go. She had medics and nurses to take care of the wounded, the vulcan was her cadet's patient and needed his doctor with him more then anything right now.
Between patients Brelev wracked her brain trying to figure out where she knew him from, granted she knew a lot of people, but he definatly looked familiar. If things cooled down she would talk to him, but now was not the time.
Brelev took care not to mention to any of the patients any details about the Aerowing, they did not need to know about S'reena and the other senior officer's rebelliose behavior. She assured them that here in sickbay all they needed to worry about was letting themselves be treated, nothing else. This was one of the safest places on the ship, and Admiral Drew would have things under control soon.
Sometimes Brelev wished she could get more updates from the bridge on the ship's status and how the battle was going, but she knew they had more important things to do then pass information onto her, if things quited down she'd send a medic up to get the information, for now she'd just 'hope for the best, but prepare for the worst'
=A= cadet Henchard, what's your status?=A= Brelev commed her cadet, she more wanted to know if P'radikus was being over-exerted by Admiral Drew's questioning, but that was up to her cadet, not her.

On the way back to the Hanson Isis said to Crystal "Could you take over here for me?" "Sure!" was the reply. Isis went to the back of the Aerowing were Commander Hope was administering to a cut that she had received. "Commander? May I share something with you?" Isis asked quitely as the Admiral was resting near by. "Yes what is it?" S'reena answered. "I'm don't realy want anyone else to listen in though." "How do you mean?" S'reena looked at the young woman's ears and said, "A mind-meld? If I have to." Isis held up her hands to S'reena's katra points on her face. and said, almost on the edge of hearing, "My mind to your mind. My thoughts to your thoughts." A picture of blackness rose in their minds, then a feeling of falling. They saw themselves standing side-by-side. A sudden gust of wind whipped through their hair. A voice floated through the air saying, "Concentrate on the sound of my voice! Concentrate on the sound of my voice!" There was a gentle slowwing then a sudden burst of PAIN! S'reena wasn't too happy with the concept of someone entering her mind and fearfully remembered the last time such an act had been forced upon her. Yet the cadet seemed persistent, and she had consented to it. The Romulan closed her eyes and focused on the sound of Isis' voice, as instructed. She screamed as suddenly a burst of pain entered her mind and her eyes snapped open. Frantically, she tried to push her cadet away but to no avail. "Let go," she whispered at Isis, no longer wanting to know what she had to show her.
As they had moved to the back of the Aerowing nobody would hear them. Then her mind filled with twirling images.....They apeered in a forest glade, dressed in white robes. S'reena looked around the glade. <tag s'reena> "You must tell no one what Im going to say." Said Isis "The plaque that I didnt remember what ship it came from I now recognise. It came from my father's current ship, the U.S.S. Malice, an Arika Class. You may have heard of it." <tag s'reena> "Well officialy that ship does not exist. Starfleet had to fake the partial rebuilding of three different shipyards to help disquise the fact that they had one extra ship. It has technology on-board that is an improvement to every single ship system that Arika's have. At the moment it is'nt "missing", it is "explorering the Delta Quadrant" or so Starfleet says. I'm tell you this as this is the only reason I went with you. I'm not going to be responsible for the disapeirance of more than one admiral." (OOC: this meld takes up 1 minuite of the time on the aerowing, if that makes sense.) ooc: it does....do please finish the meld in this post by using 'modify'...just be careful you don't erase my bit ~s'reena~

"Cadet Richard's what do you think?" Jason asked.
After thinking a little Max said “I do not know, do not have left more possibilities.”
Max thought most advisable. Search a weak point in the shields was not easy task for him.
"We are sufficiently close so that short-range sensors works."
"I do not believe that it is sufficient, Cadet." Reynolds reply.
After hoping awhile, the sensors could not determine a safe shot. Those shields had to the Commander very worried.
But then, Max sees something that was surprise. His console showed that the Aerowing was turning.
"Commander..."
Then, the Admiral returns to bridge.
“Report,” Drew called out as he sat back in his chair, “I want some good news.”
"Admiral, the Aerowing is returning to Hanson!" Max said.

Drew did not answer either officer who had reported the aerowings return immediately, instead he just stood silent for a few moments. Then as if coming to life, he began barking out commands.
“Get a full security detail down there now,” he ordered, “as soon as they arrive back onboard, escort everyone aboard directly to the brig, no questions.”
“Aye Admiral,” someone replied, and Drew heard the turbolift door open and close. Boiling with anger, Drew would have preferred to have gone down to the shuttle-bay himself to contract his mutinous First Officer, but his first duty had to be to the ship.
“What’s the status of the Shadow?” Drew asked.
“They are moving to join formation with the other Ferengi ship Admiral,” Max Richards reported.
Drew looked to the forward viewscreen and watched as the two hostile ships paired up; the Hanson would not stand a chance against both vessels. Still, Drew was in no mood to surrender.
“Full power to forward shields,” Drew ordered, taking his seat, “all hands, brace yourselves.”
Watching the viewscreen, Drew noticed that the two vessels were starting to break formation, and appeared to be moving away from the Hanson, he shot an inquisitive look up at Ops.
“Admiral, the enemy ships are increasing distance from us,” Richards reported, then a few seconds later he added, “Sir, they have gone to warp.”
Drew wanted to let out a sigh of relief, but it was not over yet, this could just be a trap of some kind.
“Heading?” Drew asked.
“Back to Ferengi space Admiral,” Max replied.
Drew nodded his head, relief overwhelming him. He had been prepared to take the Hanson into battle, but he knew his small ship would have been no match for the two other vessels. Now it appeared conflict had been avoided.
“Very well then,” Drew replied, rising from his chair to stand in the centre of the bridge, “helm, set course back to Starbase Conqueror, best possible speed.”
As the junior helm officer moved to action Drew’s command, the Admiral looked around his bridge. Almost all of the key stations were being manned by junior officers; it now seemed likely that at least three members of his senior staff had mutinied against him. Not only betraying his trust, but also putting the Hanson in great danger. It was time for them to meet there comeuppance.
“Commander Reynolds, please take command of the bridge,” Drew said, walking towards the turbolift, and ignoring the protests of the annoying Trill watch officer, who clearly felt she was superior to the Chief Operations Officer.
Arriving in the shuttlebay, Drew was just in time to see the Aerowing start to dock, as per his orders, a full security was ready and waiting to take them all into custody. Behind him, Drew was surprised to hear the doors open again; a quick glance behind his shoulder told him that it was Dr. Brelev and Cadet Henchard, both equipped with med kits.
“There may be injuries,” Brelev said by way of explanation as she and Henchard made their way to stand next to Drew.
Drew didn’t reply, instead he just watched as the small vehicle completed its landing procedures, and his officers began to walk out.
OOC:
Things are now starting to come to an end for our training voyage; we will wrap up the storyline regarding the aerowing in the next few posts. Any of the Cadet’s who wish to wrap up their own storylines may start to do so now.
Graduation will follow shortly; my guess would be this weekend.
Good work everyone.

S'reena sighed as the Aerowing completed it's landing cycle and looked at her fellow crewmembers. So far, McCormick hadn't said a word and that disturbed her deeply. She had neither spoken directly to S'reena, nor addressed anyone else; she just sat there, staring ahead of her.
"This is it," she spoke up, "are we ready to face the music?" Personally she steeled herself against any possible tirade, though she hoped that Drew would not yell at them then and there. She knew him well enough for that, or so she hoped. "Daya, kindly open the hatch, I'm going out first."
She held out her hand towards McCormick, indicating that she should come first. As she knew Drew would probably have guessed her intentions, she in turn guessed that medics would be present and she wanted the admiral in the good care of the doctor. As she stepped out the hatch, McCormick at her side, she was greeted by security officers, their weapons drawn and aimed at her.
The Romulan ignored them and motioned for Brelev and Henchard to take care of McCormick. Then she turned to Drew and held her breath, waiting for him to speak. When he didn't, she gazed up at him; the utter disappointment in his eyes was hurting her deeply, but she knew he was disappointed. And then she also realized he wouldn't yell at her, not here.
"I take full responsebility," she finally spoke up, her voice ringing through the silent bay, "I forced Commanders Daya and Shinsei to come with me, as well as Cadet Isis." When she said it, she also knew that it was to no avail and from the corner of her eyes she saw security enter the Aerowing and re-emerge with her companions, marching them off to the brig without further ado.
Two security officers approached her, but S'reena quietly shook her head, silently bidding them to give her a few more seconds. She had been holding her hands behind her back until now and she revealed her honor blade, offering it hilt first at Drew.
One of the guards, assuming she wanted to attack the admiral, yanked the weapon from her grasp, causing the blade to bite deep into her palm. Startled, S'reena stared at her hand, then at the guard. "I want you to keep it for me," she spoke softly, gazing squarely at Drew who in turn held out his hand to the guard, demanding he relinguish the weapon.
Now, S'reena nodded towards the guards, while holding her left hand clenched tightly into a fist. She didn't care that she was bleeding, and didn't want special treatment from the medical team. The guards took her by her arms and silently marched her off to the brig, where she sat down on the nearest bench.
"Now we wait," she finally spoke, "I am certain you all will be cleared. I insist again that I take full responsebility."

“I forced you all, you will not be held accountable.” S'reena said, in one of the greater shows of ignoring facts Crystal thought she had seen in the recent past.
Crystal didn't understand why Commander Hope would try to cover for her, since Crystal hadn't exactly needed to be dragged along, in fact S'reena had tried to get Crystal not to come along. If Crystal had thought anyone besides her would have responsibility, or even try to take it, for Crystal's own actions she might not have done it. But Crystal wasn't sure if she could live her life in a remotely satisfactory way if others were going to try to convince her she couldn't choose to take responsibility for her own actions.
Crystal, however, doubted S'reena would have the final say anyway, and was almost relieved to find that she was being escorted by security to the brig along with the other officers. For all that Crystal knew she shouldn't feel any wish to get in trouble for her actions, and however much Crystal told herself that she would be relieved if she didn't get in serious trouble for what she did, she couldn't make herself believe it. Which was odd, since Crystal wouldn't have had any qualms about not getting caught, just about getting someone else in trouble for it.
Still, as much as she believed that she should be being escorted by the security officers, Crystal didn't like the situation. She had spent enough time in brigs to know that they could become quite unpleasant places, and she had to steel herself not to try to escape. And a few times it seemed she had to actively concentrate on the fact that she should take responsibility for what she had done.
When they arrived at the brig S'reena sat down on a bench. Crystal noticed the commander was clenching her left fist, but she didn't ask about it. Instead Crystal just sat down cross-legged on the ground of the cell. “Now we wait,” S'reena said after a while, “I am certain you all will be cleared. I insist again that I take full responsebility.”
“With all due respect Commander,” Crystal said, realizing the irony of suddenly acting formal and properly obeying conventions of rank and position, “I don't think you can do that. My actions happened because I made them do so, if anyone forced anyone I forced you to take me along.” Crystal thought briefly that the brig was probably being monitored, and her words would be picked up, which would be all the better. Crystal didn't want to have the opportunity to back out of this, because she was suddenly afraid she might take it.
