An hour later and T’lana was much more satisfied with the ready room. All of her predecessors’ illogical decorations had been put into a storage locker somewhere, and the overall tone of the room was now much more efficient.
Finishing reading the latest status report, T’lana rose from her desk and walked calmly towards the bridge. She had asked the emotional Commander Hope to arrange for the senior staff to gather in the briefing room, it was time for them to learn the details of their assignment.
Walking onto the bridge, she ignored the officers who stood to attention, and headed directly for the briefing room. She did however take full note of everything that was happening, and already she could see areas for improvement.
Entering the briefing room, she was surprised to see that most of the staff had gathered already, especially given the fact that none of them had been present to welcome her aboard. Taking her seat at the head of the table she sat down and folded her arms, waiting silently for the rest of the staff to arrive. She noticed that the staff who had gathered were all uncomfortable with the silence, clearly they had been expecting her to say something.
Finally, when all were gathered, she cleared her throat and stood.
“I am Captain T’lana, I have been assigned as Admiral Drew’s replacement while he is aboard the USS Jefferson,” T’lana watched the crews reaction to this news as she spoke. She was uncertain how many of them knew what Admiral Drew was doing aboard the Jefferson, many had been on a leave of absence during his departure. Still, she had no intention of filling them in.
“Our mission is a simple one,” T’lana continued, not giving the crew chance to ask questions, “We are to deliver much needed medical supplies to the Feta VI colony, as you are all no doubt aware, they have been experiencing a deadly plague in recent months. Once we have arrived we will also be offering whatever medical assistance they require.”
T’lana turned to face the Denobulan medical officer – Dr. Brelev.
“Doctor, I trust you will have sickbay ready for whatever we may encounter, I would suggest you bring yourself and your staff up to date on the latest developments from Feta VI.”
“Aye Captain,” Brelev replied, if she suffered any kind of emotional reaction to T’lana’s orders, she did not show it.
“Commander Daya,” T’lana continued, turning to face the Security Officer, “I would like you to arrange a series of tactical drills throughout the mission, I believe in keeping my crew alert.”
Daya nodded his agreement, clearly pleased at the chance to run more drills.
“Very well,” T’lana concluded, “I believe that is all we need to discuss, the Cadet’s will be arriving shortly, and I would suggest that you all gather at the airlock to welcome them aboard.”
“Dismissed,” T’lana said in her calm cool voice.
As the staff all rose from their chairs, and started walking towards the two exits, T’lana called out for Commander Reynolds to stay.
“Commander,” T’lana said, walking over towards him, “Commander Smith has been unable to rejoin us for this mission, therefore I would like you take on the responsibility for the Engineering Cadet who shall be joining us.”
Nodding her head in approval, T’lana thanked him, and then returned to the bridge herself. Walking silently towards the command chair, she took her place in the centre of the bridge.
“Helm, start preparations for launch,” she said in a crisp manner, “I wish to leave as soon as the Cadet’s arrive.”
OOC:
And that ladies and gents is the start of our mission. Cadet’s, you should all post your arrival on the ship, and meeting the instructors. Usually at this stage in the mission, we have a series of “tours” and such happen in the sim. This is also a great chance to start to form simming relationships with your fellow Cadets, and with the instructors.
Any questions, please feel free to ask.
- And yes, I posted this on the wrong account lol. I will try to keep all future posts to the T'lana account.

After his battle training with Cadet Warrick on the USS Hanson Cdt. Vander Halthor immediately received a communique coming from a captain t'lana. It was urgent that the cadets report into their duty stations and arrive quickly to be at a green status. Halthor made some quick adjustments to his uniform before leaving to the ready room, he made some quick goodbyes to his new friends and immediately proceeded straight to his destination. After a few minutes the door swung open and cdt vander looked around to see a few fellow cadets and all the instructors along with the ships captain and executive officer. This was a momentous site and he was sure to make a welcoming presence. "Cadet Vander Halthor reporting, and ready sir"
The cadet made his welcome and then walked up to his new instructor Lt. Commander Daya and gave him a quick handshake and waited for his instructions. The two looked at each other well and one was an arconan and the other was a human. Both humanoid and rather distinguishing features about them. Cdt. Halthor was going to like this mission and he was prepared to become a cadet tactical/security officer. And moments later a few other cadets would meet their instructors and have a quick chat before becoming more attune to the mission at hand.
"Hello Lt. Commander Daya, i will be your new cadet today, how may i serve you today." with a smile cdt halthor waited for lt. commander daya to respond.

Brelev was the first of the senior staff to arrive in the briefing room. Not bothered by this she took out a PaDD and read up on her assigned cadet. She had been smart enough this mission to pester the Commandant until she had this data. Cadet Dana Warrick, a petite human female, looked very qualified. She had a great deal of hands on experience and had excelled in her last training mission. Brelev was looking forward to meeting the young women, until she reached a small insert in the reprimands section. Cadet Warrick was what humans called "hot headed" and had a track record of speaking out of turn and mouthing back. Brelev wondered if there was anything she could do to break the cadet of this habit. For a Medical officer, no wait, she was training in Science with additional training in medical. This was not unheard of, Brelev herself was trained in both areas. Either way, not many captains and superiors enjoyed having their subordinates speak out without permission.
As Brelev was finishing her "research" most of the senior staff trickled in. Then, like a cool breeze, Captain T'lana entered. Brelev snapped to attention, something Admiral Drew had not expected of his crew. The Vulcan took her seat at the head of the table, and Brelev relaxed. She expected T'lana to say something, but instead she sat, arms crossed, in silence waiting for the rest of the senior staff. They arrived shortly after, and Brelev took her place on T'lana's left. S'reena would take her place on T'lana's right, Brelev could already sense the tension.
“I am Captain T’lana, I have been assigned as Admiral Drew’s replacement while he is aboard the USS Jefferson,” It was a brief introduction that created a great deal more questions then it answerd.
After the briefing Brelev headed to sickbay to inform her staff about what to expect. The plague on Feta VI was something she had neglected keeping tabs on, this would make her job a little more difficult, but the mission seemed rather strait forward. This also explained why the Star Base staff had over stocked them with medical supplies. She had her nurses set up a quarantine area in ward 2 for any patient they would bring aboard and begin to ready the supplies for shipment. That done she headed for the Airlock to meet up with Ms Hothead herself. She was hoping the reports on the young women's records where being exaggerated, or only a few minor events with some uptight instructors.
She arrived as Daya was greeted by his cadet, a classy looking Andorian training in tactical. They did not have very many cadet's this mission, which was going to be a nice change.

“I am Captain T’lana, I have been assigned as Admiral Drew’s replacement while he is aboard the USS Jefferson,” Daya looked calmly at the others after hearing this bit of information from the new captain, very few showed any emotion.
Commander Daya,” T’lana continued, turning to face the Security Officer, “I would like you to arrange a series of tactical drills throughout the mission, I believe in keeping my crew alert.” 'Well at least i get to have some fun' Daya said to himself. After the meeting Daya stayed on the bridge, going over the systems he had control of.
Daya was momentarily interupted by his cadet, Vander Halthor, who shook his hand heartily. "Hello Lt. Commander Daya, i will be your new cadet today, how may i serve you today." with a smile cdt halthor waited for lt. commander daya to respond "you will not be 'serving' anyone while onboard this ship cadet, do you understand?" Daya said looking at the cadet, who nodded his head. He made eye contact with Brelev before continuing. "Good, now we have been charged with creating tactical drills for the mission, do you have any ideas?"
<tag Halthor>
"Those are good ideas, but i'm not sure what the captain would like us to run, why dont you go ask her, i'll be in my office getting things ready, meet me there when you are done" Daya turned and quickly left the bridge, leaving his cadet to speak with the captain.

"I may have some ideas to our tactical drills first we could test out the computer overlay to see that all systems are running smoothly and then we could test out a simulation where it could test me and the tactical crew on the mission at hand. I was thinking along the lines of having the simulation with the cadets and the tactical crew armed in the simulation with phasers and phaser rifles along with some detonation devices in the case that the simulation were to go badly and we were to fight a mysterious presense." Cdt. Halthor responded and then was countered with his response by lt. commander daya's.
Cadet Halthor shook his head up and down and took the order to heart. He then proceeded towards the Captain and introduced himself. "Hello, I am Cdt. Halthor and what i was told by Lt. Commander Daya, is that i can run through some ideas for you in accordance to the mission at hand, concerning tactical training and drills." cdt. halthor responded eagerly and then continued with his ideas. "I was thinking about having the training drills involve a little weapons training as well as some battle simulations in order to prepare ourselves for the mission at hand, because we don't know what were up against, am i correct in this assumption." cdt. halthor replied and then waited for the captain to respond.

Tarapiê entered the room and was close to a smile, when he saw all the illogical stirring around him. He managed to keep his expression neutrual and tought he'd have to medittate a bit more later. The Vulcan looked around and saw Major Methos, his instructor. He walked up to him and formed the letter "V" with his hand: "Good day, mister Methos. I am Tarapik, your new cadet." [ tag Methos ]

With the meeting over, Jason and his fellow instructors made there way out of the conference room, but when the Vulcan Captain asked him to stay behind he couldn't help but think he was in some type of trouble.
“Commander,” T’lana said, walking over toward him, “Commander Smith has been unable to rejoin us for this mission, therefore I would like you take on the responsibility for the Engineering Cadet who shall be joining us.”
"Understood, Captain," Jason responded and left the conference room. As soon as the door closed in behind him, he let out a sigh of relief. If everyone was right about the Captain, this mission would not be as easy as the Captain said it was. Realzing that there was nothing that could be done at that moment, Jason headed towards the airlock and waited for his cadet.

S'reena was pleased to see that all senior staff had arrived at the briefing/meeting on time, and that they also reacted with the same surprise she had upon hearing T'lana would be taking command. Already, the Romulan didn't like the way the Vulcan woman ran the ship and she foresaw many complaints addressed at her regarding the new captain.
S'reena knew Drew was well liked and loved among the Hanson crew, and having a stiff and unemotional Vulcan could cause serious tension between crewmembers. Already, S'reena herself had clashed with several crewmembers, who normally treated her rather differently. She'd also already clashed with the captain herself and S'reena had decided then and there that she didn't like this new captain.
But, she'd try to get along with her, just as Drew had suggested. She'd try her hardest to obey any orders given, even if they went against common sense. S'reena knew things would change soon enough, and she wondered whether it'd be for the better.
Together with the rest of the instructors, she walked off towards the airlock to welcome aboard their cadets. She nodded towards Dana and Vander, whom she'd already met, then noticed a Vulcan entering through the airlock. She hadn't met him yet, but the young man beelined straight for Methos. She too walked towards Methos and acknowledged the marine with a polite nod. "Greetings cadet," she announced after the two men had exchanged introductions, "I am Commander S'reena Hope, Hanson's first officer. I hope you'll enjoy your stay while training aboard the best ship in the academy fleet."
It was common knowledge that both Hepta and Hanson vied for 'best ship' and it was also common knowledge that both ships produced well-trained officers. It was natural that each ship reckoned it was best. S'reena smiled at the three cadets, then turned her back on them to return to her duties on the bridge. "Three cadets have reported to their instructors," she reported as she sat down in the first officer's seat beside the Vulcan captain, "they should be arriving soon to report in for duty."

T’lana turned to face the Cadet who had approached her, like the vast majority of Cadet’s she had encountered in her career, he appeared very eager. As he was an Andorian she concluded he was Vander Halthor.
She listened patiently as Cadet Halthor explained his ideas for the security drills, she was very pleased to discover his ideas had merit. This was clearly a Cadet who was very efficient. She liked that.
“I approve of your suggestions Cadet Halthor,” T’lana said, nodding her head in approval, “you have my permission to start preparations, once we have left the Starbase, you may schedule the first drill.”
As Cadet Halthor walked back over towards the Tactical station, and Lieutenant Commander Daya, T’lana noticed that S’reena Hope had re-entered the bridge. T’lana refused to watch the Romulan walk across the bridge; instead she fixed her attention firmly on the forward viewscreen, which at this moment showed absolutely nothing.
As Commander Hope gave her report, T’lana continued to look directly at the viewscreen. In her opinion the Commander could learn a great deal by her own example. After reviewing her file, she was convinced that S’reena Hope was a women with deep emotional problems, and that Admiral Drew had clearly not dealt hard enough with her. She resolved to discuss her conclusions with the ship’s counsellor, a Vulcan male by the name of Salek at the earliest opportunity.
When Commander Hope had finished, T’lana turned to face her.
“Very well,” she replied slowly, “please see to it that the all of the Cadet’s are prepared for our departure, I will be conducting a ship wide inspection at 17:00 hours.”
“Inspection?” Commander Hope repeated, “Captain, we do not normally inspect the ship, Admiral Drew has always felt it put too much pressure on the Cadets.”
“Admiral Drew is not in command here anymore,” T’lana replied coldly, “I am”
“Of course Captain,” the Commander replied, “I meant no disrespect.”
T’lana doubted that, but she would not rise to the Romulans emotional bait. Instead she fixed her attention back to the viewscreen. She had given her orders.

Dana and Cadet Halthor had finished their sparing match under the watchful eye of Cmdrs. Hope and Salek. She’d gone back at her quarters, showered and changed when a communiqué came through from the Station Ops. It was time for her to report to the USS Hanson, the training vessel she’d been assigned to.
She let out a sigh as she changed clothes, yet again to her duty uniform and packed the few belongings she had with her. Why did they always have to interrupt her when she wanted some time to rest. She wondered as she moved quickly through the station, heading for the docking ring and the airlock through which she would find her new assignment.
Dana took a deep breath, brushed a few wrinkles from her uniform and gave her papers to the security guard at the airlock. It didn’t take long for him to finish and hand them back to her motioning for her to enter and arrive at her destination.
She looked around, and found the doctor by the insignia she wore on her uniform.

Brelev could spot her cadet the moment she walked through the airlock. Instead of stepping forward to greet the young women Brelev decided to let the cadet spot her, she soon did and headed over.
Brelev stuck her hand out, human fashion, for a handshake. "Welcome to the Hanson Cadet Warrick. I am Commander Brelev and I will be your instructor. According to your file you will be training in Science, with additional training in Medical correct?"
<Tag Dana>
Brelev decided to adress any of the attitude problems mentioned in the cadet's file as they came up. "I'd like to begin with a tour of the ship, but before then I'm sure you'd like to sropt some thing off in your quarters. I took the liberty to pull up the number you have been assigned." Brelev handed the cadet a PaDD containing the data. "When you are done there, meet me in sickbay. You should not take any longer then 30 minutes. After your tour I am certain that they could use your assistance either on the bridge monitoring sensors in down in sickbay preparing medical supplies. You don't have to make your mind up now, just let that decision stew while I am taking you on the tour."
Brelev waited for an affirmation of understanding from the younge women and took a moment to look her up and down. She was confident for a newly arrived cadet, this was both good and bad. Given the situation with Captain T'lana Brelev would have preferd her cadet to be "shaking in her boots". She got the feeling the vulcan liked to run a tight ship, a very tight ship.

Crystal was relieved to be back at work on the Hanson. She always felt awkward during the times that the Hanson was docked, after all, it felt like she should be working, but there wasn't much she could do to actually work. But nor could she really enjoy the leisure time.
Crystal went to the mission briefing, and since she didn't seem to have any cadets this time around, again, there wasn't really anything for her to do until the ship was actually preparing to leave. She had more mixed feelings about the replacement of Admiral Drew with this Captain T'lana. Crystal hadn't exactly been very close to Admiral Drew, and she was fairly sure he must dislike her after she had accompanied Commander Hope against his direct orders. But she knew he was a good CO, and did a good job of leading the crew. At least this was just a temporary change.
Crystal found her station on the bridge, and walked over there. She started looking over the status of the navigational console and the resources that navigation had available it. She couldn't, however, avoid overhearing some of the conversation between Commander Hope and Captain T'lana. Crystal could practically feel the tension between the two, and decided to just stay out of conflicts. At least, to the best of her abilities.

Daya looked up from his desk as his cadet entered his office. "Yes cadet, what did the captain say?" He asked the cadet. <tag Halthor>
"Very well, lets get to work. You test the computer systems, make sure they are good to go." He said as he got up and headed towards a wall console, to show the cadet what he needed to do. While the cadet was working on that, Daya looked at a PADD in his hand, checking the mission readiness of the security personnel.
<tag Halthor>
Daya looked up once again when the cadet informed him he had finished with the computer systems. "Good work, now you said you wanted run some battle simulations correct?"
<tag Halthor>
" ah yes, well in order to equip everyone with phaser rifles, and/ or grenades, we would need to get everyone in the holodeck. But we can use the emergency functions and provide the senior staff and a few others with phasers, thats the best we could do really."
<tag halthor>
"Well go ahead and create a simulation for us to use, and as soon as I approve, we put it into motion"

"Looks like systems are operational and fully functioning, now i can run some tests to figure out how this mission is going to play out."cdt halthor responded while working on the computer systems.
"Yep, sure did, i was wondering if i could start on those battle simulations and see how we can better be prepared with the mission."cdt halthor responded and got his ready gear for the tests.
"Sounds like a plan, you make sure that everyone is notified and then we can proceed to the holodeck." cdt halthor responded again but this time with a bit more eagerness.
"Creating simulation based on the given mission with these parameters set here and there, that should do it. What do you think?" cdt halthor leaned over and showed lt. commander daya the details and waited for an answer.

"well cadet i dont think the captain had the idea of sending everyone into the holodeck at once, see if you can create a program to initiate a security breach, we can send the non senior personnel to the holodeck."
<tag Halthor>
"We'll use this program you have now in the holodeck, and the one your going to make with the bridge personnel, and maybe sick bay as well. I'll start working on some vials to "create" minor wounds and suck for sick bay to work on."
<tag Halthor>
Daya shook his head to himself as he smiled at the cadets enthusiasm, he would make a great officer one day. Daya couldnt quite figure out how to get a vial to do what he wanted, but he did know someone who did. Going into his back office, he patched up a video comm to Brelev.
"Ah hello commander, hows is your cadet's training going?"
<tag Brelev>
"Actually there was a reason for me contacting you, you see my cadet and I are working on a drill for the bridge crew, but i wanted to get sick bay involved as well, so i was hoping you could help me out. I was trying to make a vial or something to create a minor wound, not an actualy phaser burn or anything like that, just something to look like one, and give the tricorders the readings of one, but i couldnt quite figure it out, would you be willing to help me?"

"Alrighty then, initiating system program for a test security breach, this will get there attention and i don't know what will in this matter. Like the captain said it was alright for me to run this drill and make sure everyone was prepared so lets get on with it" cdt. halthor responded and did some amplifications to the system and sent a system wide security breach that sent a transmission straight to the required personnel for the test. This was going to be an interesting test, and cdt. halthor didn't want to miss out on anything, and it was his chance to prove himself before the ship, and its crew were ready to get on with the mission itself.
"Systems go for testing procedures, and we are go for a simulation involving sick bay personnel and weapon training, the rest is up to you Lt. commander daya." the cdt responded and was most pleased with his overall progress, then noticed daya proceed to get everything in order for the training simulation.

"Welcome to the Hanson Cadet Warrick. I am Commander Brelev and I will be your instructor. According to your file you will be training in Science, with additional training in Medical correct?" the Doctor spoke as Dana moved to her side.
Dana took her hand and shook it. "Thank you and yes Ma'am." Dana said, responding to the doctors inquiry. She could feel the confidence in the doctor as she continued speaking.
"I'd like to begin with a tour of the ship, but before then I'm sure you'd like to drop some things off in your quarters. I took the liberty to pull up the number you have been assigned." Brelev handed the cadet a PaDD containing the data.
Dana took the PADD and glanced at it as the doctor continued.
"When you are done there, meet me in sickbay. You should not take any longer then 30 minutes. She tucked the PADD in her duffle as she listened and responded to the doctor. "Yes Ma'am, I understand." she replied. It would not take her half an hour to get her belongings in her quarters.
Dana and the doctor parted ways at the airlock. Dana heading for her quarters, and the doctor to Sickbay. It didn't take her long to find her quarters. The few belongings soon put away. She took time to look over the lay out of the ship using the console in her quarters. Better to be prepared, than to waste time hunting for where she needed to be. Twenty minutes later Dana entered sickbay, ready for her tour of the ship.

Having seen her cadet arrive and directing Dana to her quarters Brelev headed back to sickbay to do some work. A medical relief mission, although sounding simple, could be complicated. Brelev hoped to do more for these people then just drop off supplies and to do that she needed to put in a little research. She searched Feta VI in the Star Fleet medical database, and came up with very little.
She had just finished reading the third of four entries when the doors to sickbay slid open and cadet Warrick stepped in. Brelev left her office and headed to greet the cadet. "Welcome to Sickbay cadet Warrick, let me take a moment to do some introductions." she signaled over to Michael Hope, The two nurses and the EMH. "This is Doctor Michael Hope, he's the ship's pediatrician and works as my assistant when he's not tied up with his kids. If you recognize the last name it's no coincidence, Michael and Commander S'reena Hope are married, they have five childern... Is that correct Michael?"
"Yep, Kahlan, Yarna and the triplets makes five." Michael replied.
"They are aiming to have enough Hopes to crew a small vessel." Brelev smiled, the Hope children where a treasured part of the Hanson crew. "This is our EMH, I usually do not activate him unless we are understaffed, but we are short a couple nurses and documenting the medical supplies goes much faster with some extra help. He's a wonderful source of information and I find bouncing ideas off him to be very productive."
The EMH gave a quick nod. Unlike many long running EMHs he had failed to develop much of a personality. Brelev would have preferred it if he had some quirks, but apparently those who designed him did not. "This is Alanna and her sister Ellena, they just transfered here." Brelev gestured to the two nurses, human twins who had made a point of insuring they where on the same vessel. "I get a regular flow of nurses and medics, but I'm hoping these two will stay."
"Welcome to the Hanson." Alanna smiled, "I hope for your sake this mission ends up being a little more interesting then a "drop and dash." She was the more talkative of the two, although Ellena made up for her silence in hard work.
"Ah yes, that brings me to my next point, I'm doing a bit of research on the plague and not much is showing up. If I can I'm going to try to convince Captain T'lana to let me do some examinations myself to see what I can find out." Brelev explained. "Now, onto the tour. I you have any questions feel free to ask."
Brelev gave Cadet Warrick a full tour of sickbay, and the science labs then a quick overview of the rest of the ship. She would have preferred to give the cadet a complete and detailed look, but time was short and they had a lot of work to do. As a final destination they arrived on the Bridge. "And that's pretty much it. Any questions?"

Methos was watching his Marines practice their hand to hand combat skills, like he did every morning, when a Vulcan cadet walked in and approached him. Methos was expecting him, but continued to watch the Marines.
The Cadet walked up to him and presented the traditional Vulacn salute.
Methos returned it and said, "Peace and long life, Cadet. Right now we don't have any pressing duties elsewhere. Why don't you join in with the Marines you will be serving with on this mission." He motioned to the center of the room, where Sgt. Johnson was yelling out instructions.

"Sgt. Johnson, why don't you see how well this cadet was trained," Methos said.
"Yes, sir! Cpl. Tillman, front and center," the Sgt. said with a grin.
The young Cpl. finsihed his match with a quick choke hold and hopped up off the mat. He hurried to where Sgt. Johnson was standing.
"Cpl., I want you to see how well this cadet was trained. Do not take it easy on him," Johnson said.
The two combatants faced each other and when they were properly prepared, the circled each other.

"Gladly, sir!" Tarapik said, despite he tought this to be illogical. The cpl. threw himself to the Vulcan with his right shoulder and then tried to hit him with a round kick. Tarapik was ready and easly evaded the shot. The he tried to hit the young human with a quick series of fist strikes, but didn't manage to, because his opponent wasn't much slower than himself. The the two men grabbed each other's shoulders and started pushing. After one long minute the Vulcan managed to grab Tillman and to throw him trough his right shoulder. Then he quickly turned around and gently touched the cpl.'s neck nerve centre near his right shoulder. Tarapik stopped his hand just before he had palced Tillman to sleep. The fight was over. The Vulcan gave his hand to the man on the ground, who grabbed and stood up. "Good fight", Tarapik said impassivily. Then he turned around to his instructor and said: "I hope your illogical bloodthurst has been satisfied". <tag Methos>

S'reena sat in the first officer's chair, going over the mission plan. It seemed fairly simple, deliver supplies to an ailing colony that was suffering from an unknown epidemic. Hanson's medical team would quite likely want to take part in the research, thus Brelev had already been forwarded the details she needed to know to get started.
Security would no doubt want to maintain a quarantine of the area, with the marine corps helping to enforce that quarantine. There was only one problem S'reena was forseeing: it was an oceanic planet, with islands scattered all over it, making up a small 20% of the total planet surface. The remaining 80% was water, a substance S'reena feared in larger quantities than that came out of a shower.
She shuddered as she continued reading, hoping the Vulcan woman hadn't picked up on it. Reading on she also realised she was overdue for several vaccinations that were required when serving in Starfleet. Especially since she came from a non-Federation species, she needed several extra shots to keep her healthy. That, and she needed a follow-up checkup after having been ill during the previous mission.
"Permission to head to sickbay for physical evaluation?" she finally querried, glancing directly at T'lana. At the brief nod, she rose from her seat and headed down to sickbay. There, she was first met by Dana Warrick, followed shortly by Brelev, who cast her a somewhat disapproving look. "I am here for my physical evaluation," she reported, "and I need to receive boosters for several vaccinations." She handed Brelev a PADD, though she knew the doctor was quite aware of what vaccinations she'd need.
(Dana/Brelev)
"So, are you ready for this medical mission?" she asked, just wanting to have a little small talk. The Romulan was still visibly uncomfortable in sickbay and it was very evident she'd rather be elsewhere.

T’lana had not been surprised that Commander Hope had requested permission to visit sickbay. She had been observing the Commander for the last several minutes, and in her opinion, S’reena Hope was suffering an overly emotional reaction to something. Hope had been trying to hide her symptoms from T’lana, but she should have realised that was pointless. The Commander had appeared nervous, and was clearly trying to divert her attention to other matters, something humans called ‘taking their mind off from things.’
However, now that the Commander was gone; T’lana could return her attention back to the padd in her hand. It contained the latest information about the search for Admiral Lin. It appeared Starfleet had made no further progress in locating the Admiral, which did not surprise T’lana. She knew Admiral Lin to be a highly resourceful individual, add to that his detailed knowledge of Starfleet, and its operations, it would be incredibly difficult for anyone to apprehend him.
Finishing the report, T’lana decided it was time to review the progress of some of the projects currently going on aboard the ship, tapping her comm badge, she opened a channel to the holodeck.
“Captain T’lana to Cadet Halthor,” T’lana said calmly, “what is the status of your simulations?”

Dana listened as the Doctor introduced her around to the rest of the medical staff. A slight smile crossing her lips at the mention of the Hope children.
She had just acknowleged the twins, who had been introduced as Alanna and her sister Ellena when the Doctor began speaking again, this time about the mission at hand.
After a thorough tour of Sickbay, the adjoining labs and an overview of the rest of the ship, ending at the bridge. The doctor finished speaking as they stepped from the lift.
"And that's pretty much it. Any questions?"
Dana didn't have any questions but commented. "I'm willing to get my hands dirty too Doctor, if allowed?" She was itching to get involved and right away. Sitting around was not something she did very well.

OFF: I didn't take this any further because we're on the bridge, I'll let the doctor handle Cmdr. Hope in sickbay.

"The simulations are going according to plan Captain, we are testing many of the battle readiness techniques as well as getting weapon training so that if anything catches up during the mission we will be ready for anything" cdt haltor responded after tapping his comm badge. Cdt. Halthor was pretty sure everything was going to be fine and that the simulations were going very smoothly to keep daya and himself aware of any new enemies in the case they were to find any along there mission. Who knows it might be interesting to see some unknown species aboard the Feta IV colony. If that were to come up the tactical and security team would be ready to take unto them a new presence or even take on a recent foe.
"I also think we need just a bit more time to put our training drills in the holodeck to the test before we head out. I want to make sure that we are battle hardened and willing." cdt. halthor responded through his comm badge again but this time he felt better about any new threats at hand. "I think after all is said, and done you will have a equipped team ready and able to take on even the most battle crazy opponents" cdt. halthor gave his last opinion on the training drills and then went to continue on with his drills at hand.

During the 'fight,' Methos got a message via the PADD he was using to evaluate the matches. He quickly read it and as Cadet Tarapik spoke to him, he said, "Now Cadet, usually I would have you scrubbing toilets for a remark like that, but we have more pressing things to do. Like get ready for an inspection for the new CO. Go to your quarters and put on your dress uniform." As Tarapik left he call the room to attention. "We are having an inspection by our 'new' CO in two hours. I want you all ready and back here in 45 min. Dismissed," he said and then turned to go to his quarters. He got there in 2 minutes. He quickly showered and put on his dress uniform. As he was leaving, the computer told him that he was due for a physical. He quietly cursed in Klingon, which he was in the process of learning. He left his quarters and headed to sickbay.
As he entered, he saw that CMDR Hope was in the process of being examined. "Good day Commander, how are things on the bridge?" He asked
<Hope>
"I see, how long do you suppose that this inspection is going to be?" He asked.
<Hope>
"Well, I suppose that I should let the good doctor examine me," he paused, "Doctor, if you would be so kind as to get this over with, I am sure that you need to get ready for this inspection, too?"
