Hannah finished checking the hyroscanners in the tool kits. The only problem they had found with them was the PAD that seemed to have some sort of error. They decided then to move onto the basic repair equipment starting with the portable power packs. They connected them up to the computer and ran checks on their power output and making sure they were fully charged.
There was a call over the conn. for her to meet soaringstar in engineering. She left Shelby doing the checks and headed for engineering. She walked in finding Soaringstar already waiting for her.
Soaringstar explained about the tractor beam idea and Hannah listened interested about her idea. Hannah began to run ideas though her head and think of ways to improve the distance. Then it came to her.
“There is a way that we could improve the tractor beam to make it reach further using the deflector,” Hannah said, “but it will only hold for a short amount of time before blowing out the power relays and we would only have one shoot at it.”
“Also if we modify a probe we may be able to speak with the Matheson, but we will only have a short period of time when the probe is in operation before the vortex will destroy it,” Hannah suggested, “Or though we could also modify the shields on the probe so it could last long.”
<Soaringstar>
Hannah and Soaringstar worked together at one of the computer console on their idea running models to see if certain ideas would work.
“We have an idea to improve the tractor beam using the deflector and we also have an idea to communicate with the Matheson using a probe,” Hannah told Noah showing him the models on the screen.
“The problem are that the tractor beam will only work for a few minutes then blow out the deflector and the tractor beam emitters,” she explained.

Tyrron woke up almost drowned in his own blood stil dizy stil confused. He grabbed some morfine and drugged himslef. "Ah feels good they finaly got me. But eeeej I'm an real Klingon yeah thats right I'm an bad boy." Tyrron smiled for a second and forget his pain but then he stood up, "AAAAAARGH!!!! he unleased an scary howl I'm sure they heard it on the whole ship. This scream would go through flesh and bone."
It seems that Tyrron felt in his own knife, He tried to stood up but felt on his knees he tried to grab hismelf to the table. Computer upload my holo-battle to the bridge don't ask me why and sent an message to S'reena anb the medica....." Tyrron felt down this time he turned 90% because he held on with one at the table and landed on his back again it became black for his eyes he was unconcious once again.
THe entire bridge saw Tyrron's personal battle right now. And S'reena became hailed to come inmediatly the Tyrron's chamber and the medical staff did not got the message because it was incomplete.

THe entire bridge saw Tyrron's personal battle right now. And S'reena became hailed to come inmediatly the Tyrron's chamber and the medical staff did not got the message because it was incomplete.
"Admiral," S'reene called, pointing at one of the monitors on the bridge, which now showed Tyrron's struggle with the Klingons. When Drew approached she looked furious. "He ignored a direct order to come back to the bridge," she fumed, "and apparently he is tired of life as he overrode the safety protocols. Someone needs to knock some sense into him!"
<Drew>
"I will be in his quarters," she continued, and tapped her combadge, "Sickbay, medical emergency in Cadet Halrax' quarters!"
<Black>
As she walked towards the turbolift, Cadets Brandy and Soaringstar emerged. "Soaringstar, monitor the area of the Matthew," S'reena snapped at the Klingon cadet, "Brandy, keep an eye on the Hanson and her immediate surroundings. Warn me if our status changes."
<Soaringstar/Brandy>
S'reena stormed off the bridge as fast as her condition allowed, and entered the cadet's quarters. Seconds after she entered, Black entered too, and they exchanged a worried glance. "What got into you cadet," S'reena snapped at the severely injured cadet, "perhaps now you understand why the safety protocols are there for a reason? Just to make sure you do understand, your holodeck priveleges are voided for the duration of this mission. Furthermore, until further notice you are restricted to quarters during off duty times. Perhaps then you'll learn to follow orders, as you ignored a direct order to return to the bridge." She just saw the cadet blink before he passed out, without ever answering her.
"How is he doing doctor?" S'reena asked Jason, who looked rather grim. "I don't suppose I should tell you your job, but perhaps beaming him to sickbay might be a good idea?" She pointed at the rapidly spreading pool of pinkish coloured blood. "He's bleeding to death if you're going to dally much longer. I will be down to question his motives when he wakes up. Please tell him that his program is confiscated, if he asks about it."

The Commander started a scan of the area.Then he said Gravitons!.
I looked at him kind of confused and he must have seen it because he explained himself in detail.
Commander can we adjust for them Sir?
Commander:We can certainly try, Cadet.
Then the Commander told me by Activating the Main deflector he could generate an inverse graviton field.Then he did it and the warp field came up but it wasn't even 75%.The Commander said it will only be able to go to Warp 3 but it's still better than impulse.
Then he turned back to me and asked if I had any ideas in how to boot it even higher than present power.
Well Commander we could try to boost the inverse graviton field and it might increase the capability of our speed.The only other option I can think of Commander it that we could super charge the Warp Coils which if we could keep a close eye and keep on them constantly we could probibly get to at least warp factor 5 or maybe 6 if we really push it.Tho I do realize the second idea isn't a fix it would help out getting there faster which is our goal.

This could be a bit of backposting due to Commander Hope's last post having Cadet Brandy in another part of the ship... Brandy ... if so ... please backpost in reply to this post
"Cadet John Miles Brandy reporting as ordered sir."
“At ease Cadet, please … take a seat.” John finished paused the report he was working on and called up Commander Hope’s report on Brandy’s last simulation.
“Cadet Brandy, I wanted to talk to you about your last training exercise … and also just so that you will know, Commander Hope suggested that I meet with you.”
<Brandy>
“I don’t think it is all that bad … you haven’t done anything that will get you placed on confined quarters.” John laughed and then looked at Brandy, he wasn’t returning the same jovial smile.
“Ok … I guess the saying is true, Counselors’ don’t have a good sense of humor. I was just trying to make you relax. Ah hummm … I guess we will get right to the point. During your last training exercise, you used what could have been interpreted as excessive force.” The Cadet was about to talk but John stopped him, “Cadet, please … when being addressed by an Officer … there will be a time to rebuttal. Besides, you’re thinking that this is a bad thing that you’re in my office … I can assure you … it isn’t. What would be bad is if you were on the next warp shuttle back to the Academy.” Looking at the Cadet to see if he fully understood that he was in no danger of not making through this mission. “The training exercise had instructions that clearly stated ‘practice non-violent interrogation techniques’ … yet you injured crewman and almost Commander Hope.” Pausing John took a deep breath and stood up to walk around to the Cadet and sat next to him at the circular table that the Cadet chose when asked to sit. “Cadet, it conserns me that you so quickly made the choice to use violent tactics during this exercise?”
<Brandy>
John took another deep breath and took some notes before saying, “Cadet … the reason you are in my office is that your reaction to finding out that your ‘intruder’ was a very pregnant Commander Hope has seemed to have some distress on you. Cadet, please … we need to talk through this or the Commander will have you here every week until we do … not that I don’t want you here … but … I don’t want you here if you don’t want to.”
<brandy>
“Ok Cadet, that will be enough today … please report as normal to your next shift … I will inform the Commander of our talk … dismissed”
After the Cadet left his office, he stopped as if he had saw a ghost … he realized that he spent the whole meeting without his telepathic abilities being used … was it that he didn’t since the Cadet … or was it that he couldn’t? ? ? ….

Joan was surprised to see the cadet on the bridge again, and smiles, but only for a second. "Okay, cadet, we have so many messages coming in, and I need to concentrate on this scan I'm doing. We need to know what we are up against. It is time to see if you can handle this station, I will be at the back console running my scans, and you will be answering messages and making sure the power is in check." She says irrated, as he takes his position, she goes back to continue her scans. While scanning, her tone with the cadet comes back to her, and feeling guilty, she can't concentrate.
"Cadet Grayson, I didn't mean to take that tone with you, and I'm sorry. It won't happen again. You are doing fine, and I shouldn't have done that. I wasn't expecting to spend... Well never mind, no excuses." Joan says turning to the cadet, hoping he forgives her.
<Grayson>
Suddenly the console behind her beeps, and she turns around excited, anxious to find out what she found. Unfortunately, it was only a small scan, and it only showed the vortex and the ship. The IP scan was still going, and Joan was getting impatient.

Nick waited for his instructions, and noticed Commander McCormick was pleased that he was there, though she hid it as soon as he saw it.
"Okay, cadet," she said, "we have so many messages coming in, and I need to concentrate on this scan I'm doing. We need to know what we are up against. It is time to see if you can handle this station, I will be at the back console running my scans, and you will be answering messages and making sure the power is in check." She seened very upset as she spoke, and while Nick took his position, he felt angry at her. *What did I do*
He was busy taking care of the messages when he began thinking. *She does seem to be pretty busy with her scans, must be having trouble with them. Maybe that's whhy--*
"Cadet Grayson," she interrupted his thoughts, "I didn't mean to take that tone with you, and I'm sorry. It won't happen again. You are doing fine, and I shouldn't have done that. I wasn't expecting to spend... Well never mind, no excuses."
He turned around to look at her. Part of him was tempted to say something not so nice, but he could see she was genuinely sorry, and that she was pretty upset with her current taskt. "No prob, I understand."
She turned back to her scan so he went back to his job. Messages were coming in by the bucketful, and he was beginning to drown in them, not to mention the power management stuff. He began to get a bit worried he couldn't do it, but he gave it his best. Not many people needed more or less power, though he kept an eye on Engineering since they had warp power back. Helm as well, since they might be doing some fancy maneuvering as they got closer to the vortex. And he gave a slight boost to sensors, just in case that would help Commander McCormick's scan go better.
The messages were flooding all through his board, some were meant to be sent elsewhere, so he forwarded them there, and some served no purpose, so he deleted them. A few others were more important, and he dealt with them. Nothing was important enough to inform the Commander or Admiral of anything. There was something about the Klingon Security/Tactical Cadet being injured. Nick hoped he was all right.
Nick continued as he was doing, waiting for further orders. He felt a bit tired, but knew he didn't need any more sleep for a few more hours. More if there was an emergency. The adrenaline could carry him if need be. And he had a feeling it might be needed before the cruise was over...

OOC:
I hope I'm doing fine. I don't know too much about OPS, though reading other people post about it and reading the description helped a lot. Let me know if I'm doing something wrong, or not doing something I should be doing.

“Cadet Brandy, I wanted to talk to you about your last training exercise … and also just so that you will know, Commander Hope suggested that I meet with you.”
Brandy's faced cocked a little to the side with a bit of confusion upon his face. "If this is in reference to the training exercise, I only acted in what I thought was self defense from an unknown intruder. She doesn't think I have mental problems, does she sir?"
“I don’t think it is all that bad … you haven’t done anything that will get you placed on confined quarters.” John laughed and then looked at Brandy; he wasn’t returning the same jovial smile.
Counselor Graxen went on as he spoke about Brandy's violent behavior. (To which he was told to use non-violent tactics) Brandy had to resist the urge to interrupt a superior officer. He knew that in time it would be his turn to defend himself, but at the moment it wasn't helping.
“Cadet, it concerns me that you so quickly made the choice to use violent tactics during this exercise?” The counselor paused to finally allow Brandy to speak. "Well sir as you so put it my mission was to apprehend one of the intruders and then use non-violent interrogation tactics, which I fully intended to carry out. I think I am being misunderstood though, the injury happened to the marine personnel after I was attacked from behind. It was at that moment and only that moment where I had to make the decision to protect myself violently." Brandy leaned foreword a slight bit. "I mean with all do respect sir, I don't think a real intruder would respond to me asking him if he could please let me go." Brandy leaned back in his chair and folded a leg over his knee. "I am sorry to say sir but I can't believe that me being forced to defend myself is the main focus here." Brandy sat and hoped he did not push it too far.
Brandy rested his elbow on his bent leg and raised his hand to rest his head on. "Sir, to be honest, I was more disappointed in myself for the fact that with Commander Hope being pregnant, I should have seen through the disguise allot faster than I did." Brandy then shifted his weight to his other leg. "Believe me, if she really was an intruder, I would absolutely have no problem doing whatever I was ordered to do to her, up to and including bodily harm, to put it mildly." Brandy took a slight pause to ponder his thoughts. "I was just a little shaken up with her because it WAS Commander Hope and not a real intruder." Brandy could not help but feel remorse when he looked back on the situation but he could not let the counselor know.
“Ok Cadet, that will be enough today … please report as normal to your next shift … I will inform the Commander of our talk … dismissed” Came from the counselor, which surprised Brandy a little, but he figured himself lucky and got up and left.
As soon as Brandy was a few feet down the corridor he heard the call over the comm which meant he had to go to the bridge. "Man, everyone wants me." He could not help to let a good opportunity for a laugh to pass, even if there was no one to here his comment.
Moments later Brandy made it to the bridge; he headed for the tactical station. He saw Commander Hope as she walked quickly to the turbolift, he was just about to greet her when.
"Brandy, keep an eye on the Hanson and her immediate surroundings. Warn me if our status changes."
"Yes ma'am." Brandy wondered what could have her so disturbed, he quickly dismissed it though and concentrated on the tactical display. Brandy punched a few buttons to start a level 1 scan of the surrounding area, he knew it would take some time but figured he should be thorough.

"Boosting the deflector is one idea," Noah replied, "Although we have to be careful as to not blow out the deflector in the process. And increasing the power to the Warp Coils is one idea, as it might promote the necessary folding of space in front of us."
He then rolled himself over to here Hannah's idea. "It's certainly worth a try. We're currently using the deflector to maintain our warp field, but given that we can't tractor the Matthew at Impulse, we could adjust the deflector to reinforce the tractor beam."
He looked to both Cadets. "Alright, carry out your suggestions. Stevenson, Soaringstar, get that probe ready, and Shelby, see what you can do about improving the Warp Coils."

"Sickbay, medical emergency in Cadet Halrax' quarters!" came the urgent call over the comm channel.
"I'll handle this," Jason said, quickly grabbing a med kit and heading out the door. As he rode the turbolift, he asked, "Computer, report on Cadet Halrax's lifesigns."
"Breathing is fast and shallow, pulse fluctuating, blood pressure very high," was the response.
"Joy," Jason said sarcastically. What had Halrax been doing? He arrived in the quarters shortly after S'reena. As she questioned him, Jason scanned him with tricorder.
"I would have already, except you were talking," Jason pointed out. "Computer, emergency transport. Two to beam directly to Sickbay."
A few moments later, they materialized in Sickbay. The Nurses came over quickly. "Heavy bleeding," he reported. "Looks like a knife wound."
Three dermal regenerators were all running over his body simultaneously within a minute, as they tried desperately to save the Cadet. About 5 minutes later, his vital signs were improving.
"Looks like he's gonna make it," Jason said, with a sigh of relief.

Joan notices a boost in something, and realizes that her cadet has boosted scanners. She smiles and chuckles a little, then suddenly the console beeps back at her.
=/\= Bates, I have just gotten back one of my scans. It is showing a flux in spatial matter near the vortex and the ship, but I have no idea what could be causing this.=/\=
<Bates>
Joan looks over her cadet's work, and is very pleased at finding him more than capable to do his job. She looks at him, and frowns.
"Cadet, you must rest, or you will be no good to your crew when the need arises. I can handle this now, and I appreciate your efforts. If you need time to rest, go now and do so, and next time please speak up." She says hoping he will do as she wants, but looks at him as he remains at his station.

Jack, having not been ordered back to the bridge, finished his meal. He went out to his quarters and into the sleeping area where another cadet was already sleeping. He went over to his desk and started to review docking procedures for when they arrived at the starbase. After some studying he checked his grades from the academy, since he had turned in a science paper just before leaving, and decided to get some rest. He went over to his bed and laid down in his uniform telling the computer to wake him in an hour or if someone called for him, and went to sleep.

Cadet Grayson was beginning to get the hang of the tasks before him, and was just settling into a routine when he heard his instructor from behind him: "Cadet, you must rest, or you will be no good to your crew when the need arises. I can handle this now, and I appreciate your efforts. If you need time to rest, go now and do so, and next time please speak up."
He waited a moment to think. He knew he could stay up plenty more, after all, he had stayed up for very long lengths of time back on earth when trekking through the forest. However, with whatever might happen on this cruise, even an hour or two of rest would be beneficial.
Nick turned around and addressed his instructor. "Thank you, Ma'am. I think I will go rest for a couple of hours. If anything happens, please get me up, I want to be here when I'm needed."
<Tag McCormick>
Nick nodded a response, and then entered the turbolift. He told the computer where to take him, and by the time he reached his quarters, he was beginning to fall asleep standing. He made sure to tell the computer to wake him in no more than 5 hours, or if he was being called. Then he flopped on his bunk, without even bothering to undress. As he fell asleep, he thought *I still don't even know who my roommate is...*

She looked concerned and pretty angry at the same time. Oh owTyrron thaugt and he quickly closed his eyes and tried to fake as if he feinted once again.
Damn I wish I was an actor at the moment He heard Jason scrapped his throath. "Eh.. gues I've got myself in trouble right.

S'reena waddled into sickbay just in time to see the Klingon marine cadet briefly open his eyes, and close them again. She walked up to Michael and Jason, and shot them a stern look. "He's awake, isn't he?" she enquired, anger quite audible in her voice, "has someone told him yet that he could've gotten himself killed?"
Michael walked up to his wife. "Yes, you did," he said, as he gave her a quick hug, "and I have no doubt that he'll not forget this for the rest of his life. His program has been deleted from the computer, and Admiral Drew has also been informed."
"And he'll have to have a little chat with ur dear counselor when he is released from sickbay," S'reena said coldly. Then she stiffled a yawn. "And I need to get some sleep, I haven't been getting much lately, and I am very hungry." She gave both men a sheepish grin, though her eyes still reflected her angry mood. "I am eating for four, and it is costing me a lot of energy. Yet my duty shift isn't over yet and I have to return to the bridge." She paused. "Doctor please inform the cadet of his restrictions when he's conscious enough to register them?"
<Black>
"Thank you doctor, I will have to get back to the bridge now. I'll be off duty in about three hours. If you need me then, I'll be in bed so don't you dare waking me up. Contact Dharma Meri if it's important, won't you?"
<Black>
S'reena turned and waddled out of sickbay and headed back to the bridge. "My apollogies for my abruptness earlier," she told Cadets Brandy and Soaringstar, "Cadet Halrax has nearly gotten himself killed. I hope he learned his lesson. If you wish you may both briefly visit him in turn. I want one of you manning this station at all times."
<Brandy/Soaringstar>
"So, what is the status of the Mattew, and our immediate surroundings?"
<Brandy/Soaringstar>
"Well done cadets, please keep up the good work. If you need me, I will be overthere." She pointed to the first officer's seat. "I need to sit down now." She waddled over to her seat, sat down and briefly closed her eyes as she leaned back with a sigh of relief. "I am so glad to be sitting down," she confided to Drew.

After I told my ideas to the Commander he gave me a brief lecture about my ideas then he wheeled over to Hannah and Soaringstar.A minute later he gave me the ok to do my part and told Hannah and Soaringstar to work on a probe.
After that I started working on making the inverse graviton field more powerful without making damage to the deflector.After a minute of working on the deflector I decided to make sure that it is running at 110% for me to do this so I don't damage anything.Just as I was about to finish I couldn't stop thinking about Hannah.When I finished I started to get extremely tired comparing I hadn't slept in almost 2 days and haven't eaten seance we left the academy.
Then I started on the Warp coils.I first brought some information on them and what is the maximum pressure they can take be for anything goes wrong.After reviewing the information I started making the necessary adjustments.After 4 minutes of making adjustments I decided to check on the shields to make sure thet they where working properly.After a second or two I found that they might only gonna run at 50% because of the vortex.Of course this was only an estimation but if that is true I should tell the Commander.As I turned around the Commander wheeled up to me and asked me how I'm coming on everything.Well Sir I have all the adjustments made and I looked a little further into it and I'm afraid that our shield may only work at 50% which could be a problem.

"Bates, I have just gotten back one of my scans. It is showing a flux in spatial matter near the vortex and the ship, but I have no idea what could be causing this," Commander McCormick said through the comm system.
"That's a good question," Noah replied. "Could be quite a number of things. In this case, the most likely cause is a gravitational distortion. I've noted increased gravitons in the area, which we're currently trying to compensate for with the warp field. Another possibility is a subspace distortion. They're more unpredictable, and more likely to cause observed flux."
"Alright, thanks. McCormick out." The comm channel closed.
Noah then wheeled over to check on Shelby. "Well Sir," he replied, "I have all the adjustments made and I looked a little further into it and I'm afraid that our shield may only work at 50% which could be a problem."
"Well, further information on the problem is still progress." He looked at the young Cadet, and noticed that he seemed a bit tired. "Cadet, you've been working hard for quite a while. Go take a break, sit down, and get something to eat."
<Tag Shelby>
As he watched Shelby leave, the younger Bates came over. "He's handling it well, given the load you're dumping on him."
"Indeed."

"Indeed I will. Have a good rest, Commander," he responded.
As S'reena left, he finally gave Halrax a signal that he could actually show he was asleep. Jason had noticed the Cadet was awake, particularly from his readings.
"Eh.. gues I've got myself in trouble right," Halrax said, somewhat subdued.
"Yes, you could certainly say that," Jason said, standing over him. "Your holodeck priveleges have been revoked for the time being, and the program you were running has been confiscated. I want you to take it easy for a while, given that I just saved you from death. No heavy exercise for a week, understand?"
<Tyrron>
"Good, now, I'm sure they want you back on duty," he said, and waved the Cadet toward the door.

"That's fine cadet, and I will definately get you back here in time for the action, or when I need you to be here, whichever comes first." She says taking over Ops as he leaves. She continues to run scans several different ones, but she doesn't come up with anything more than what she has, and gets a little irrated by it.
I wish these scans would show me more, so we could solve this problem. Man I am still upset about my birthday. Joan thinks trying to get things done with the imcoming messages, and finds it isn't too demanding at the moment.
You are probably looking at this problem a little too hard. Stop thinking about it, and I'm sure the answer will come to you, that or you are overlooking it by ignoring the obvious. As for you birthday, well there is always next year to celebrate it with others. That is what is so great with being here now instead of that orphanage, you have people to celebrate with. Leena thinks back at her through their telepathic frequency, and Joan agrees about the problem and having people around for her birthday, but she doesn't think about it any more as she tries to concentrate on her job.

"Thank you Doctor, I will take it easy this week" and Tyrron looked a little sad. "So they deleted my battle, gues I have to star a new one then. He laughed about the doctors reaction. "Just kidding my friend, i've learned from this too bad they deleted it. But at least they have seen it once I just wanted to make them sure that I can be a fine marine. Anyway I want to thank you once more doctor thanks to you I'm still alive, gues I owe you man, Thank You. Tyrron firmly shaked the hand of the doctor. And then left the room. To go off to his own room and await his next orders he knew S'reena was sleeping right now and he don't want to wake here, Gues it's better if I catch some sleep too I wil see her tommorow. he thuaght a little concerned hoping that she wont be that mad.

Calvin looked around at his instructor simply. His expression on his face went dark. "Aye sir." The Cadet said. He then moved toward the turbo lift. Once he was inside he ordered it to his quarters.
Once it got to the turbo lift he stepped off and walked down a few doors and then entered into his room. Calvin walked stright to his bedroom. He did not think of nothing. He jumped onto his bed and feel a sleep.
Hopefully he would wake up in time to go back to duty.

Soaringstar stood at her console, her face had a angry yet determined look. "The Matthew has about 5.5 hours before it is destroyed. its shelds are at 49%," she replied, her voice revealing her emotions, "Commander, I apologize for not being here on the bridge when you needed me, but Hannah and I have been going over ideas on how to free the Matthew from the vortex' grasp. We have been running simulations on every possibility and have found a way to make the tractor beam strong enough, but it won't last as long, and we would only have one chance at it. We also came up with designing a probe to make it possible to communicate with the ship, but even it wouldn't last long." With that she looked at both the commander and Admiral waiting for their response...

S'reena sat up straight when she felt someone was prodding her. "What...?" she started, looking around in bewilderment. She locked gaze with Drew, whose eyes were holding a rather bemused look. "I didn't....." she started, feeling horribly embarassed. At his nod, she looked away. "I must've needed it," she muttered, then followed Drew's gaze towards the sole tactical cadet.
<Drew>
"You were saying?" S'reena querried, upon which Soaringstar repeated her suggestion. "That sounds like a very good idea cadet," S'reena praised. "Admiral, if you would keep an eye on cadet Brandy? I need to talk to Commander Bates. Soaringstar, you're with me."
<Soaringstar/Drew>
The two women left the bridge, and once they were in a turbolift on their way to a holodeck, S'reena tapped her combadge. "Commander Bates, you and Cadet Stevenson please meet me and Cadet Soaringstar at holodeck one. It seems the cadets have been working on something during their off hours, and I must say I find the idea inuitive. I would like the two cadets to show us their idea."
<Bates/Hannah>
Then remembering that sending out probes usually was a job assinged to operations, S'reena tapped her combadge. "Commander McCormick, please send one of your cadets down to holodeck one."
<McCormick>
Once everyone was assembled in the holodeck, S'reena gestured towards the two cadets. "Please show us what you had in mind."
<Soaringstar/Hannah>

John saw Commander Hope and soaringstar as they vanished behind the turbolift doors. He could not help but think about this Vortex and what is wrong with it. As he thought he remembered a number of courses at the Academy about temporal vortex's'. Brandy quickly tapped his comm badge. =/\="Brandy to Commander Hope."=/\= Brandy said as his eyes drifted to the ceiling. =/\="Go ahead Brandy."=/\= Came Commander Hope. =/\= "I thought of something, you probably already know, I just wanted to make sure...."=/\= =/\="Yes Mr. Brandy get on with it."=/\= Commander interrupted. =/\="Yes ma'am, if this vortex has any temporal applications then that means the probe being suggested is going to have to deal with time dilations, which means time is either faster or slower inside the field. I believe the probe can be also modified to emit a low level inverse Tachyon field, it would increase the life of the probe by allowing it to stay closer to "real time"."=/\= Brandy hoped the information would be useful. <Commander Hope>OOC: Just been away for work a little bit, and felt like I needed to get back in the story, hope I did not step on anyones toes.

Joan just nods as the commander leaves with one of the cadets. =/\=Cadet, please head down to holodeck one, and when that is over come straight to the bridge. =/\= She says over communications, and hopes that he gets the message and heads down to the holodeck.
<Capps or Grayson>
Joan turns back to her consoles, but she doesn't get anything more than she already knows. She turns back to her messages and power reading to find that the messages are swarming in now, and that the power readings haven't changed. She sighs and gets to work on those wanting to know if she was ever going to be able to come up for air.
