Again the ship uncloaked, but reclaoked almost instantly. At first he thought the sensors were now melfuctioning, but it happend again and again.

John was confussed, either they had problems or they were luring us into a trap.

David was begining to be exceptionally annoyed by Cadet Darmok's doomsday predictions. It was all very well and good to be "realistic" but not so much to be "fatalistic". He continued his active scan and found nothing and he was confident in his equipment and his readings. He'd not had any reading of a ship either cloaked or otherwise. He turned toward the captain and spoke as well as he felt he could looking a superior officer in the eye.

"Sir, we are travelling extremely fast, I doubt very much that any readings of uncloaking ships could be entirely accurate. I was under the presumption that a ship could not decloak when it was in warp. I suggest that perhaps we slow to impulse and try to either confirm a ghost ship or run full diagnostics on our systems."

David sat patiently with one of his eyes on his console and the other awaiting the captain's response.

We are still very close to romulan territory, there cloaks are better then anything we can detect and there master of espionage.

However, it is highly unlikely that even the most advanced cloak could be lowered at warp speed," he said quickly, "And suspecting the crew of espionage and the like is not well founded at this time. A little bit later, Alex had returned to sickbay, and there her cadet was. She scowled at her padd again. She had received the message as to the program being shut down. She walked into her office.

"Cadet, come here," she said as she passed by him. When they arrived inside her office, she turned around to face him.

"I noticed how you passed on a couple of the check points in the program. You were not suppose to know it was a holodeck, but it ended too early, so now you do know. There are a couple of people coming in hurt. I don't know what is going on with them, but you will treat them. One is a little girl. I will be setting my nurse beside you to help in any way. I must help the older gentleman coming in, her grandfather I do believe. I will want a full report on this treatment and what happened to her after you are finished," Alex said filling him in. She realized it was time for work, and that he would have to finish the holodeck training later. Alex hoped he would want to.

In came the girl and her grandfather, and Alex left her office followed by the cadet. Alex walked over to the elderly man. He was unconscious for now, and the girl was crying. Alex sighed and pulled out a tricorder to start scans, a nurse came to assist her.

A little bit later, Alex was at her desk filling out a report for the older man. He had been rock climbing when his simulation suddenly ended without warning. Alex wondered about the little girl, but didn't say anything as she continued to fill out the report.

Sheeta had noticed what was going on, and wondered why her cadet had been so bold there. She thought about sending him a few comments on his actions, then she noticed he was apologizing for his behavior. She realized a few things there, but didn't say anything.

Alright, cadet, I think you are ready. I will be here if you need me, but you are on your own for now. I will be watching from my comfy corner, and don't hesitate to ask me anything you don't know or may need help on. Sheeta sent to him, realizing it was time for him to fly as solo as allowed on this mission. She was a shadow now, and if she could smile she would have.
