The Olympia glided gracefully into her docking pylon at Starbase Bellicose, coming alongside the Somma class USS Vesuvius-A. The pylon extended a docking ramp, which joined itself onto a port on the upper section of the forward module. There was a hiss as the ramp pressurised, and then all was silent once again. Cables extended to connect to power conduit ports on the hull of the Olympia, and as if by magic, work bees descended from the shuttlebay of the station to assess the copious amount of battle damage done to the Olympia.
On the bridge, Tiberian stood up from the centre seat, having command of the day watch. He fiddled with the new rank pip on his collar, still adjusting to his new rank. On the journey back, word had been sent from Starfleet Command, having read Captain Smith's report on mission, and having decided that Tiberian's particular actions deserved special merit. The fact that he was now a Lieutenant Colonel was an immense point of pride to him, and he had yet to even tell his family.
"Alright then people. Deactivate all weapons, shields and drive systems. Disengage the navigational deflector, and deactivate the auxilliary generators. Transfer primary power to station control, and then deactivate our own generators. All non-essential systems to standby. Computer, enter docked mode, authorisation Wong 64 Theta Proxima, enable"
"Docked mode enabled. All primary power generation transferred to station control. All onboard systems stood down"
"Thank you computer" Tiberian smiled as he opened a comm channel to the entire station. "Attention all hands this is the XO. I am pleased to inform you that we have docked at Starbase Bellicose, and that shoreleave is now in effect. All hands are releaved of duty until further orders. All departments heads are obliged to hand in reports and evaluations within 48 hours, and any maintenance or repair works, as well as requesitions should be logged and transmitted to me within 12 hours. That is all"
He turned and looked at the bridge crew present, gesturing to the turbolifts with his hands, signalling for them to leave. They filed out quickly, and with much excited muttering as to what they would each do with their leave. Tiberian lingered for a moment, collecting some padds from his seat and fiddling with his console, waiting for the bridge to be deserted. Doing a quick once round to make sure everything was just so, he finally nodded and entered the turbolift.
"Computer, lights off" The doors closed.
~On Bellicose~
Tiberian stepped onto the Starbase, carrying his personal bag over his shoulder, and walked down the promenade. He smiled at everyone he passed, looking around at all the bustling shops. Occasionally he would get an odd glance, each of which disconserted him slightly, until a young boy made a loud comment to his mother about his eye. Tiberian finally twigged that it was his new artificial left eye, not to mention the greatly lengthened scar around it that was drawing him so much attention. This, he surmised was the price of heroism. He walked on and eventually reached the largest bar on the station, settling in to a seat alongside all of his fellow marines. Martinez turned to him with a smile, passing him a pint of beer.
"So you made it to freedom huh" He toasted Tiberian and then drank long from his glass, draining away half the amber contents before he turned to listen to his reply.
"I did, kind of. I still have to see that all the maintenance and repair reports get submitted, and that all the rosters are organised, and that..." Martinez held up a hand stopping him mid-speech.
"Relax. We're on leave, and all that can wait. Have you made any dinner plans for tonight? Perhaps some with that fine young doctor?"
Tiberian shook his head, never ceasing to be amazed at how Martinez seemed to know everything that went on.
"Actually, I was planning on having a staff dinner. Invite all the staff and some of their guests. Make a night of it. In fact, I'll see to that right now" He tapped his comm badge.
=/\=Lieutenant Colonel Wong to all Olympia senior staff. Would you all care to join me for dinner at 19:00 in "The Crab Shack" on the promenade. Bring some friends from your department. Wong out=/\=
<TAG All Olympia Staff>
"That's all good and well, so long as I'm your guest" Martinez jokingly responded. Tiberian snorted and stood.
"Well come on then you lazy buggers. We're on leave so let's have some fun"
~One hour later~
Tiberian was laughing raucously with his men as he downed yet another shot of strong whisky. They had spent an hour swapping war stories, and amusing anecdotes. He was slightly drunk by now, but was holding himself well, the only apparent sign being his exceptionally red visage. He stood and waved off the offer of another drink.
"No, no. I want to o and spend some time with Katie before tonight" A round of wolf whistles and cheering ensued. He looked at Martinez "Don't forget Jose, Crab Shack, 19:00"
"I won't forget. Hey" He caught Tiberian's arm as he turned to leave "You wouldn't go wrong to invite the Vesuvius staff as well. Their CO's our Squadron Commander, and it never hurt to get in good with the brass"
"Sure" Tiberian took the aadvice as sound, and waved goodbye, turning to the Vesuvius' docking port before he went to find Katie.
~Ten minutes later~
Tiberian walked through the deserted corridors of the Vesuvius, down to where the holodecks were. He found the correct suite and entered. His presence must have been shocking, both in the fact that it was unexpected, as well as that having a 6 foot Marine Colonel walk in unannonced was generally a shocking event.
He nodded courteously.
"Good afternoon. I'm Lieutenant Colonel Tiberian Wong, XO of the Oly. I'd like to invite you all to dinner with our senior staff and guests this evening"
<TAG All Vesuvius Staff>
OOC: ~Sorry about the length, but I've at least got everone included. Just treat this as a shoreleave thread for the first couple of days, and then as the story unfolds it will become increasingly like a mission. Have fun y'all~

Sonak looked up from changing her daughter's diaper and exchanged a surprised glance with her first officer, who sat a few meters away pricking away idly at his dinner. Fox, as usual, had done a marvelous job at cooking dinner.
She handed Miriya to Jatan, then rose gracefully to her feet. "Greetings Colonel Wong," she answered with a slight smile, "I am Commodore Sonak Reckus, though as I am off duty, I suppose you could just call me by my name as everyone else does." She motioned around the circle. "My senior staff from left to right: First Officer Logan Byrne, Chief Medical Officer Marco D'Angelo, Navigations Chief Tovan, Science Chief Fox, Chief Engineer Alex James, Security Chief Anthony An, Operations Chief Thorad (NPC) and my husband Jatan Reckus."
Four children came running towards their father, oblivious to the newcomer who stood tall and proud before their mother. Sonak's smile widened somewhat. "And my children Sevus, T'Kimi, Seliv junior and Shanna. The little one is my youngest daughter Miriya." Noticing the marine was still waiting for her answer, she returned her attention to him. "We shall be joining you for dinner at the time you specified," she finally answered his question. "Do you require any specific attire for this occasion or is it casual dress?"

"More importantly, can I take a damn sonic shower!?" The explicative was uncharacteristic for the Doctor, which earned a shot look from his superior officer. His self discipline and couth went out the holodeck arch after three days of dirt, blistered feet, and burnt food. Commander Byrnes was a horrible cook, and an even worse tent-mate. He went absolutely berserk when Marco tried to patch a hole in the tent with some duct tape. Started yelling, "Not again!!!" Marco would recommend counseling as soon as he got the chance. It was just tape! Also, whoever had the idea of adding forest animals into the programming had another thing coming to them, as far as the Doctor was concerned.
"I'm taking a shower, I don't care what you all say. In fact, as the doctor aboard this ship, I order us all to shower before leaving the holodeck. Who knows what is growing on us!" he turned to Colonel Wong, "She turned the bio filters off! Her name should be Sonak Reckless if you ask me." Luckily for Marco, the youngin was crying again, and the Commodore had run back to her tent to tend to the child. She didn't hear his snide remarks.
It wasn't like she needed to, though. The Vesuvius crew had put up with three days of the germaphobic doctor's mumbling, grumbling, and outright refusals to take part in standard camping rituals. The crew were all at wits end with Marco, and he knew it - but didn't care. "Starbase Bellicose?" he asked. "How long have we been docked?"
The answer didn't satisfy him. No answer would have. He smelled bad, having tried to wash himself in the stream filled with some sort of ammonia producing scum. That was before Jatan told him the bio-filters were turned off, and the mold could have serious health effects. It was quite a site watching the muscular Doctor run out of the water like a little school girl, after some sort of harmless aquatic animal brushed across his leg. Of course, he took the muddy route out, which caused him to stink more than when he originally went into the water. "You would think that when I said that I've never gone camping, they would have helped out... but noo.. I got turned into the laughing stock of experience." It had been the longest three days in his life.
"You made yourself the laughing stock," Alice, the ship's head nurse, responded. "If you would have just acted within reason, in most cases you would have been completely fine. Of course, he did use the poison ivy accidentally after bowel evacuation," she tried very hard not to laugh while telling the story, but her smile stretched out from behind the hands that cupped her mouth as she addressed Colonel Wong. "The Commodore let him replicate an anti itch cream for that. That one wasn't technically his fault. It was a special case." She was almost crying at the humorous thought.
Embarrassed at the remark, Marco indignantly responded. "I don't see why we needed to do that so primitively anyway. That's why we have transporters and computers that can lock onto the smallest of objects." He kicked a rock as hard as he could, expecting it to move. Instead it held fast, causing Marco to roll to the ground in an effort to console his bare foot. The river incident had lost his boots, stuck in the suction of the mud. He wasn't too concerned, but only because he had forgotten that he couldn't replicate new boots. He had gone barefoot for the last day and a half. "That was your own fault," Alice reminded him when he complained later the evening of the loss. Almost in the same tone she told him again, "That is your own fault," as his pain wore off and he stood back up. His toe looked swollen already.
"So - give us a few minutes to compose ourself, place all this junk in the waste regenerator, and to clean up." Marco could see a ray of light, and for once, he wasn't talking about either of the blistering hot suns he had dealt with until Sonak would graciously turn them off for a few hours each night.
The kids were all lined up, the crew was almost packed, but none were lined up and packed faster than Marco D'Angelo.

Crystal had slept for 18 straight hours on the return to Bellicose and then to annoyance of several other people had woken hangover free. She had then thrown herself into checking up on her staff and department.
Fortunately for the Olympia's Science department they had all survived. Walter was still in sickbay after being impaled on some racking and Tonja's broken arm had been repaired. Other than those two injuries everyone had escaped with cuts and bruises. Crystal had taken a moment or two to appreciate her collection in the mirror that morning.
The rest of the trip back to Bellicose was taken up with dealing with the promotions that had come through. She had made it to full Commander and had put promotion recommendations for several members of her staff which had been accepted.
"Attention all hands this is the XO. I am pleased to inform you that we have docked at Starbase Bellicose, and that shoreleave is now in effect. All hands are relieved of duty until further orders. All departments heads are obliged to hand in reports and evaluations within 48 hours, and any maintenance or repair works, as well as requisitions should be logged and transmitted to me within 12 hours. That is all" Crystal grinned and forwarded the XO all the necessary reports and requisition orders within five minutes of him making the announcement. She intended to fully enjoy this shoreleave and unwind.
She returned to her quarters changed into civilian clothing and packed a few things into a bag and then headed for the starbase and shoreleave.
Crystal was enjoying a quiet lunch with the newly promoted Lieutenant V'Sel. =/\=Lieutenant Colonel Wong to all Olympia senior staff=/\=. Crystal noted that his promotion had obviously officially come through as well =/\=Would you all care to join me for dinner at 19:00 in "The Crab Shack" on the promenade. Bring some friends from your department. Wong out=/\=
Crystal smiled and looked at V'Sel who raised one eyebrow. "You are invited." Crystal said. V'Sel gave a small nod and accepted.
After lunch Crystal located other member of the science staff and passed on the invite. Then she had time to have a swim and wander round the shops for a bit.

Snowfall yawned as she rose from the clutter of thick fabric sheets that hung across her quarters. The items were called 'usefuls' and she had spanned two across her sleeping quarters to make up a bed. She hated sleepin in normal beds, being used to sleeping among trees on her homeworld Sivao.
Stretching, she felt the lower useful wobble dangerously, before the fastening gave and the whole thing dropped down to the deck. She jumped and landed down on all fours, crouching as she expected the upper useful to come crashing down on her. it had become a morning ritual basically, of testing her reflexes. Ever since her former charge had taken command of the Raven, Snowfall was a bodyguard without a body to guard. However, she had taken up guarding commanding officers whenever they came aboard Bellicose.
Pouncing over to her computer, Snowfall accessed the arrivals and noted that two ships were now docked with Bellicose. She couldn't guard both commanding officers, but she could make sure the stay of both of them and their crews was as safe as possible. She would meet with them later today, she hoped, and welcome both of them back to Bellicose.
Yawning once more, Snowfall checked her reflection in her mirror and noticed a snag in her fur. Twisting around, she preened her white fur, then with a satisfactory pur, she left her quarters to start her security rounds.

~1900 hours, The Crab Shack~
In all her years of service in second fleet, aside from having her own office aboard Bellicose, Sonak had never heard of an establishment called 'the crab shack'. Presumably, the establishment served a wide variety of fish specialties, but for all she knew it was just a nice name for a typical Klingon pub.
Clad in a long, dark brown and flowing dress, Sonak walked ahead of her senior staff. Beside her, holding her arm walked Jatan. For once he looked very happy, or at least she felt he was looking happy. His eyes were shining and he was smiling down on her. His attire matched the browns of her dress, and he had insisted in doing her hair for this occasion. Though it fell free, cascading down her back, he had done up a small part as a braid, so it would not fall into her eyes.
As they walked in, Sonak searched the room for familiar faces but as she had never even met Captain Smith before, she had no idea who to look for. At last, Jatan pointed towards the bar. "That's him I think," he whispered to her.
Nodding, the pair walked up to the young male. "Captain Smith?" she queried, raising one eyebrow ever so slightly. "I am Sonak Reckus and this is my husband Jatan. We are not late, are we?"

Tiberian smiled and nodded in acknowledgement of the Commodore.
"Dress as you please Commodore, I believe it's one of the benefits of rank"
He then listened, somewhat shocked, at the Doctor's sudden tirade about the camping trip, reciting his gripes with all his senior officers, and making it indisputably clear that he had not enjoyed himself. Tiberian restrained himself from either shaking his head, or shaking the doctor. He had never understanded why people were so overly dependent on technology, and couldn't survive more simply, even for a very limited period of time. Tiberian had always enjoyed his childhood camping trips, and had more or less enjoyed the marine survival excursions, despite the fact that they contained significantly more shooting than his youthful journeys. He suddenly found a nurse addressing him, one who he remembered hearing about from somewhere, but he could not quite put his finger on it.
"Of course, he did use the poison ivy accidentally after bowel evacuation," her smile stretched out from behind the hands that cupped her mouth as she addressed Tiberian. "The Commodore let him replicate an anti itch cream for that. That one wasn't technically his fault. It was a special case." She was almost crying at the humorous thought. Tiberian too allowed the corners of his lips to curl as the doctor appeared to become increasingly irate. He made a mental note to turn dinner into a bear bating session.
"Well, if you will excuse me" He interjected before Doctor D'Angelo could get started again "I'd best go and attend to the...er...cargo...requesition....thing" He beat a hasty retreat from the holodeck.
He returned to Bellicose, and entered the habitat area, searching for Doctor Abernathy's assigned quarters whilst the Olympia was being repaired. He found them easily, and chimed the door. Katie answered, wearing her unfastened uniform and hair down from its usual ponytail.
"I take it you're here to invite me to dinner" She said pointedly with a naughty smile.
"I would like to be able to tell you stuff myself you know" Tiberian smiled back "Who told you?"
"V'Sel. He walked past earlier whilst i was shopping and passed on the invite. So, if you don't have to tell me about dinner, you should probably do something else to make your trip...worthwhile" She smiled and walked into her quarters. Tiberian followed.
~A couple of hours later~
Tiberian walked into "The Crab Shack" at a minute or two after the time arranged. He looked around and was pleased to see that only the Biers, the Commodore and her husband were present. He had changed out of his uniform, but his alternative had not drastically shifted away from the running theme of his life. He had opted for the camouflage green battle fatigues issued to each marine, with his usual boots, equipment belt fully kitted out, and his beret folded under his right ephaulet. He approached, and heard a fraction of a conversation that confused him.
"Captain Smith?" she queried, raising one eyebrow ever so slightly. "I am Sonak Reckus and this is my husband Jatan. We are not late, are we?"Tiberian decided it best to pretend he had not heard, and to intervene quickly to save face for the Commodore.
"Commander Biers, good evening" Tiberian said quickly, striding in between the two and cutting off Daniel's response "And to you too Commodore. Mr Reckus, a pleasure I'm certain" A certain amount of hand shaking ensued.
"What can I get everyone to drink then?" Tiberian asked.
<TAG Commander and Commodore>
As he recovered the drinks from the bar, he turned to the Commodore and struck up conversation.
"I don't suppose Commodre, that you remember serving with a Ferengi called Nack?" He recollected his former XO.

That name was familiar. "Was he the git that left the beetle snuff on the desk when he left the Vesuvius?" Alice talked fondly of the former doctor, almost like someone described a pet, but the Doctor had different feelings. "All I know is that he was messy, and he failed his own drill scenario." Sonak questioned how he knew that. "He left the padd on the desk when he left. I told you he was messy!"
They resumed their conversation about the Ferengi, as Marco hunkered down to what was going to be a feast fit for a king. It was his first meal since Logan's wild boar debacle in the fire pit. Everyone went to bed hungry, and cold, after the swine fell into the fire. The bubbling lard smelled the whole holodeck up as well. Nobody seemed to mind except Marco.
"Now this is what I have been thinking about." He pointed to the holomenu, rotating the three dimensional view of the dishes, salivating over them every degree of turn. "Look at the size of those crabs!" Reading the caption out loud, "Freshly imported from under the Andorian Ice Sea." The logistical impossibility of the crabs actually coming fresh from the sea escaped the Doctor has his eyes became bigger than his stomach.
"I know what I want!" he said, hoping everyone else would arrive so they could order.
"There wasn't a preset menu, was there?" His constant questions and comments kept interrupting the conversation between everyone. He didn't mean to be a pest. He was just overjoyed. Marco in the Crab Shack was as to a kid in a candy store.
"Ooo! They even have targ feet as appetizers!"

On the Olympia :
As the Captain and most of the crew left the Olympia, David awaited the arrival of the bases service personnel. It didn't take them long to arrive and get to work ..
Internal power was brought back on-line and the Olympia was again separated into her three sections. The Primary and tertiary sections were linked by umbilicals ans re-docked with the pylon. While the Secondary section, Along with Tan, was towed to a separate space-dock .. Here, the repairs to the sections super-structure, her outer hull sections, and interior decks would be carried out .. 'It was almost a miracle that the Olympia could get back in one piece' someone had commented .. Tan had nodded silently at this ..
No sooner had the secondary section come to a complete stop, umbilicals were attached and power transfered to the gantry .. Worker-bee shuttles began checking the damage as the section became a hive of seemingly frenzied activity ..
David decided he didn't fancy the idea of a drinking binge, yes, he could do with one, maybe several, but someone had to oversee the repairs to the Olympia, and as everyone else seemed to have left like the proverbial rats from a sinking ship, he figured it was him as Chief Operations Officer ..
"Commander ......"
David turned to see a Lieutenant, one of the service staff from the base ..
"Lieutenant." Tan said, "Sorry .. Do you need me out of the way ?" he said, getting out of the Command seat.
"No .. I knew you were still aboard .. I just wanted to let you know that the transporter is still on-line if you need to go over to the base .. Or one of the shuttles will pick you up."
"Thank you Lieutenant .. Am I OK here for the time being ?"
"Yes Sir .. The screen will stay operational .. We're not going to be taking it off-line .. If you need anything ......"
"I'll give you a shout Lieutenant .." Tan finished for him, "Oh .. Can you keep me apprised on the repairs."
"Will do Sir .. The 'collision' caused mainly outer hull and some structural damage .. Shouldn't be a long turn-round I'd think .. Lucky the shields took the brunt though .. Otherwise we'd be starting from scratch with the Secondary section .. Whoever caused all this damage 'must' have expected the section to be lost ..."
"Yes .. I think you're right Lieutenant .. He most likely was expecting it to be lost ......" Tan replied, replaying the collision in his mind.
As Tan fell quiet, the Lieutenant decided now was the time to leave ..
"Sir .. I'll get back if thats OK."
Tan seemed to snap out of his thought's when the Lieutenant spoke ..
"Very well .. Thank you Lieutenant."
Alone on the Secondary sections' Bridge, Tan sat quietly watching the activity outside ..........

Steve had left the Olympia along with most of the crew to take up temporary quarters on Bellicose. He had a nice suite which was big enough for him, Arya and little Renora. During the course of the last mission, Steve has pretty much not seen or heard from Arya at all. It turned out she was busy helping out with the medical staff on the tertiary section of the ship. Initially, Steve wasn't happy that she had gone...but then he knew there was never any point in trying to argue about something like that with Arya....she will always work around him.
After sorting through a few various reports from the ship, Steve decided to take Arya out for a little stroll. However, upon turning to make the suggestion to her, he found both her and Renora fast asleep on the bed. Steve smiled, and went to place a cover over them, and put Renora in her cot, so she didn't fall anywhere. All of a sudden, a voice came over the comms:
=/\=Lieutenant Colonel Wong to all Olympia senior staff. Would you all care to join me for dinner at 19:00 in "The Crab Shack" on the promenade. Bring some friends from your department. Wong out=/\=
"Friends from my department?" Steve echoed, letting out a laugh. "Everyone from MY department will be there!" He shook his head lightly, still amused and then turned and headed out of their quarters. Once the doors had shut, the smile had gone.
He had one clear destination.....the Olympia. That was the one place where Steve could feel calm, and let all his troubles wash over him. Within a few minutes, he had arrived back on the ship, and made his way through what, for all intents and purposes, was a ghost ship. There was only the odd one or two people around. He reached the main bridge and looked around. No-one there, save for a few engineers working on a couple of consoles.
Steve turned off the bridge into his ready room and sat down on the chair behind his desk. As he sat down, he set the lighting level to 30% and closed his eyes, nodding off.......There was something definitely on his mind.

Fox stood in front of the Crab Shack, but could not remember ever having it seen before. "Odd" he thought, he loved visiting the promenade when the Vesuvius was docked to Bellicose and the crew was given shoreleave. "Must be a new place then." he thought as he entered it.
As he walked in he looked around "Looks nice." he thought. He saw Sonak and Jatan talking with someone. He quickly pulled a PADD out one of his pockets and looked on it "So thats Colonel Wong." he thought. He had loaded the crew file of the Olympia on it prior to coming here.
He looked further around and saw Marco looking at the holomenu's. He walked over to him. "Anything you like on it Doctor?" he said smiling. He also looked through the large list of dishes the place had. "Anything you can recommend?"

Crystal got her swim in and then wandered round the shops for a while. She bought a few gifts for her family and arranged for them to be dispatched to their home on Luna.
She went to her quarters to change. Crystal was never one for social situations and she'd heard from other crew members that the Vesuvius senior crew were invited as well. the whole thing made Crystal feel really nervous also she could now say literally that the butterflies in her stomach felt worse than the ones she'd had when she had been elbow deep in a ticking bomb. The thought did not help her relax.
She picked through all the clothing she had brought with her and mentally went through the things she had left on the Olympia. It would be so easy to slip back into uniform but she felt that wasn't right. In the end she decided on nice simple black trousers with a hint of a sheen to them and a shimmery mid-green fitted top with short sleeves and a V neckline. She brushed her hair staring at herself in the the mirror as she tried to convince the waves to behave. In the end she swept her hair up and back fastening it out of the way with a silver clip her sister had given her last birthday.
Crystal took a last look in the mirror before heading to the restaurant. She wasn't sure how many of her staff/friends would come. She knew V'Sel was but beyond that most of them had been a little non-committal. She vowed to herself that she was not going to be a wall flower and was actually going to make an effort to meet new people.
She arrived at the restaurant pretty much on time. She walked in and looked around. She saw Tiberian and Daniel talking with a couple she didn't know. She knew she be tempted not to say anything if joined that conversation and looked around further, she noted two dark haired men she didn't know debating a menu. She wandered over to join them.
"Anything you like on it Doctor? Anything you can recommend?" She heard one of them say as she approached. She swallowed hard remembering her promise to herself.
"Hello. I'm Crystal Rose, the Olympia's Chief Science Officer. I'll second the request for recommendations". She smiled and hoped she didn't seem too out of her depth which is what she felt.

"Tea will do just fine colonel," Sonak answered as Jatan echoed his agreement to that.
As the marine first officer served them, he asked another question. "I don't suppose Commodore, that you remember serving with a Ferengi called Nack?"
Just then Nurse Alice interjected her sentiments and Sonak couldn't help but smile. "Indeed I remember him," she chuckled, "quite a character that one. He was my chief medical officer before Mr Complain-a-lot overthere." She nodded towards her current doctor, who was goggling at the menu and smiling with glee.
She gagged at the mention of Targ, turning a little greener at the very notion of consuming it. Her smile returned as she glanced up at Wong. "Doctor Nack helped deliver my youngest daughter, even though he was stuck in sickbay and my chief engineer was left to the hands-on part of a delivery. Though a Ferengi, and failing his own drill scenario, he is a very competent doctor. He was fairly quiet and easy to get along with."
She glared pointedly at D'Angelo, though she was still smiling. "Did you enjoy serving with him colonel?" she enquired, sipping her tea as she waited for an answer. While she waited, she watched Fox approach the still complaining D'Angelo, and the couple was soon joined by a female officer, obviously from the Olympia crew.
Jatan, in the mean time turned to Biers - the officer they had mistaken to be the captain. "So, Mr Biers...what's your job on the Olympia?"

Tovan had had a slightly more enjoyable time camping than some of his crewmates. He found it refreshing to escape the routine of the day, and to allow him some time to meditate in a new, more natural setting. As he listened to the whiny doctor’s tirade, he reflected that most of his complaints were actually strong points for the Vulcan. The heat and dryness felt good, reminding him of his homeworld, and Fox, though not exactly a vegetarian cook, at least didn’t know how to ruin Tovan’s meals. All that being true, he couldn’t resist a jab at Marco. “Perhaps, you would have a better experience going through the Starfleet Advanced Survival Training. Two days in Vulcan’s Forge. You would not have to worry about poison ivy, or any plant or aquatic life for that matter.”
After leaving the holodeck, Tovan stopped by his quarters to freshen up before meeting the Olympia crew, and to catch up on some work that had piled up in the three days that he had been out of contact. Having spent only a very brief time on Bellicose before, Tovan had never heard of the Crab Shack, and was interested to see what it was like. As he stepped in, he saw that some of the Vesuvius crew had already arrived, as well as several other Starfleet officers who must be the crew of the Olympia. He silently joined Marco and Fox in looking over the menu, deciding whether of not he thought he could handle Risian mussels…

"Did you enjoy serving with him colonel?" The Commodre asked.
Tiberian had rather hoped that this question wouldn't have come up, as he remembered only too well his relationship with Nack. They had gotten off to a bad start from the word go, mostly when the Feregi had tried to ruin his career after he illegally executed a Cardassian who had killed a marine under his command. Everything after that had gone downhill until Tiberian had been reassigned to the Olympia.
"We..had our ups and downs. He was my XO on the Vic, before I transferred to the Oly" Tiberian finally settled on, draining his double whisky, and pacing the glass on the bar. "If you'll excuse me Commodore, seeing as i organised this I'd better mingle. I leave you in Commander Biers more than capable hands"
He bowed out and walked over to the crowd of Vesuvius crewmembers, all of whom appeared to be perusing the menu.
"Hello again" he greeted them "So, say who you are, where you come from, and how are we enjoying the evening so far"
<TAG Fox/D'Angelo/Tovan>
Tiberian smiled at the doctor, and then leaned to whisper in the Vulcan's ear.
"Is he always this much of a pain in the jacksey"
<TAG Tovan>
Tiberian supressed a smile as he straightened up and walked away, heading towards Crystal and V'Sel. He came up behind Crystal tickling her ribs and making her jump.
"Alright then petal, and how are we this evening.

"I can hear you" Marco said, pretending like he couldn't care less. "I don't need points on my ears to hear one meter away you know." Wong was clearly a playful First Officer, not what Marco was used to on the Vesuvius.
Talking across the table to the female officer, he replied to her initial question, "I suggested the chicken braised with," before he could finish Wong poked her sides and welcomed her to the table. Her facial expression wasn't telling of whether she liked his informal attitude toward her or not, and Marco found it annoying. The rest of the Doctor's sentence finished, at the expense of his dignity, ".. honey." It was one of those instances where the room falls awkwardly silent, for no apparent reason, and the Doctor saying, "honey" in the direction of Crystal led everyone to believe that something was taking place that wasn't.
The snickering started, prompting a response from the over-exerted Doctor. "Oh come on! That was completely out of context!" He looked from officer to officer, pleading his innocence. He looked Crystal in the eyes, "Please tell them I was just kidding." Marco had just left behind the stories of the poison ivy, and now this incident was going to follow him the next few days. Wonderful.
"The chicken is good," he repeated over the chatter, this time not saying its full name. "It's Earth chicken." He ignored the others cat calls. Wong still was positioned behind the Olympia's science officer.
The wait staff arrived, and Marco was the first to order. He looked at Crystal immediately afterward, effectively setting her next in the turn order. As far as he was concerned, she was the only one who didn't make fun of him for the misunderstanding a few minutes prior, so she was the only one who actually deserved a positive attitude out of himself.

"I suggested the chicken braised with," The man, apparently the Vesuvius's CMO said. At that moment Crystal involuntarily interrupted the Doctor by yelping and jumping as someone tickled her from behind. She turned and noted with very little surprise that the culprit was Tiberian.
"Alright then petal, and how are we this evening.Crystal gave a wry smile, he was starting to remind her of her brother. She also saw that V'Sel had arrived no doubt precisely on time.
"Honey"The Doctor finished. Crystal's attention was drawn back to the moment, she had to admit that his suggestion did sound good. While Crystal was thinking this over she heard snickering and knew she had missed something.
"Oh come on! That was completely out of context!" He looked from officer to officer, pleading his innocence. He looked Crystal in the eyes, "Please tell them I was just kidding."
"He was just kidding," Crystal replied promptly. She was going to try to keep out of this one. She knew it had taken her far too long to figure out what was so funny...
A while later as they had settled at the table. Marco, as she had registered his name to be, ordered and then looked across the table at her Crystal shrugged blandly while at the same time wishing she were somewhere other than at a table with a lot of people she had only just met.
"I'll have the honey glazed chicken," she said. The orders passed on round the table and everyone else felt back into conversation.

A white Sivaoan pounced into the Crab Shack, her ears pulled back as she glanced around. Because of the colour of her fur, Snowfall was easily spotted, though she could make herself unnoticed if she wanted to. Now, was such a time when she observed the crews of the Vesuvius and the Olympia interacting with one another. A person in a multicoloured uniform sneaked up on a young female, making her yelp in turn as he apparently did something to her.
Snowfall growled at the sight, her tail lashing once or twice. Another male was complaining loudly, though Snowfall couldn't quite see why. At the bar was finally someone she recognised as she had seen the woman with her previous charge before. The Vulcan and her mate were talking to a young male, but both seemed as though they desperately wanted to join the mob at the larger table.
Quietly, Snowfally tiptoed towards the the table, then rose up to her full height, her ears perked up, her claws sheathed. "Merrow!" she started, startling everyone at the table, "may I please remind you of the safety measures taken here on Bellicose?" She nodded towards Wong's issue side-arm. "Weapons aren't allowed in civillian establishments." She turned to the still complaining doctor. "Sir, if I didn't know better I'd say you were on illegal substances the way you have been moaning ever since you came in."
She rounded on the male Vulcan at the table. "And you sir are also out of character...though...lately the Vulcans here on this station do seem a little emotional." She purred as she jabbed her tail at the female Vulcan, who snagged it in turn. "Why are you all here? Not causing any trouble are you? Merrow!"

The white ball of fuzz had almost crossed the line while speaking to Marco, but he had kept his calm. He listened as Crystal ordered what he had suggested and moved on.
Unlocking gaze from the sites across the table, Alice nudged the Doctor. "I think I met her at a medical conference once." The conversation was a complete turn from the matters unfolding at the table, but the clear diversion tactic was welcomed by Marco. He was starting to feel disillusioned that his long awaited meal was going to be able to be enjoyed.
"Doctor Abernathy... that's it! I met her at a conference once. Charming woman, she is." Alice found it nice to be able to talk about something more pleasant than the exchange of disparaging remarks. She nudged the doctor, "What do you think?"
The woman walked past the entry way of the restaurant, and eventually out of site again, never stopping to come inside. "Beautiful..." he said un-excitedly. He had completely ended his rants by now, feeling completely worn down in life.
"You don't sound too thrilled about anything right now." the older nurse said. She had become quite the friend, even though she was always the first in line to pick fun at her medical counterpart.
"I just need some sleep. It's been a long week. I don't mean to be such a pest." The two's conversation was interrupted again by the mangy cat. Marco ignored the cat's attempt to rile him up, though, and sat blank faced at the table until the banter passed.

Tiberian pulled himself up to his full height, te smile vanishing from his face as the Sivoan challenged him and the others present. The unprovoked insults had got his back up, especially on te grounds that nothing had actually happened, and the fact that they were all serving officers, being challenged by a civilian.
"This weapon is issued to me to protect the Federation at anytime when it might be necessary. As such, a marine never surrenders his sidearm. If you have a problem with that, then lodge a protest" His eyes narrowed as he walked towards te Sivoan, until he was only a foot or two away. "By the way, who do you think you are to wander into a public facility and start throwing your weight around with two ships full of serving Federation officers. Name, rank and assignment. Now!"
<TAG Snowfall>
Tiberian walked away from the Sivoan, still riling from her insults, but happy that he had gotten in a few of his own. Just as he was about to continue his interaction with the group from the Vesuvius, he saw Martinez approach. The grizzled old Sergeant Major had opted to remain in uniform just as he had, and had also kept his phaser, knife and stun baton on his belt, the same as Tiberian. Noticing this, the Sivoan growled as he went past, and, without breaking his stride, Martinez simply turned to growl back at the big cat. On Matinez's arm was Katie, dressed in a beautiful black halter neck top and dark trousers, with matching high heeled shoes.
"Jose" Tiberian clapped him on the shoulder, he then smiled at Katie "Doctor Abernathy, lovely to have you here" Knowing smiles were exchanged between the three. Obviously the XO dating one of the ship's junior doctors wasn't something to shout about from the hilltops.
Most of the people were here now, and those who weren't would undoubtedly arrive soon.
"Shall we eat everyone" He called out to the crowd of officers, as they made there way to a table "With your permission of course tabby" He added derisively with a mock bow to the Sivoan as they headed to the table.
They sat down, and the menu began being passed around, until he eventually received it.
"I'll start with a soup of the day, followed by a curried crab with basmati rice and vegetables" He passed the menu on as the waiter wrote down his order. Something was niggling at him, and then he realised what it was.
=/\=Wong to Captain Smith, dinner's started Captain, are you going to join us?=/\=
No response came.
"Computer, please locate Captain Smith"
"Captain Smith is onboard the USS Olympia, in his ready room"
"And what is the Captain's status?"
"He is asleep"
Tiberian sighed with a smile sideways at Crystal and the Commodore.
"He's not normally like this you know. Back me up here Crystal"
<TAG Commander Rose.Commodore Reckus>
"Do me a favour Daniel, run to the Olympia and shake the Captain awake. If he gets narky tell him it was an order from the Commodore. That aught to wake him up"

OOC: posted on behalf of Ensign Anthony An, who was unable to get his post up to this thread.
IC: Tovan, An, and Fox split up and headed for the replicators one last time for the week. An looked up the replication program for a tent and some food he thought everyone might enjoy.
An found an anti-grav sled and piled it high of the supplies the senior staff needed for a week camping trip on the holodeck. An replicated a tent big enough to protect the senior staff from the potential storms and other critters that may stop by. As for food, An replicated boneless chicken breasts, large onions, tomatoes, mandarin oranges, shakers of Everglades Seasoning, bottles of Italian dressing, ample supply of plastic bags and plenty of aluminum foil.
As the security chief approached the holodeck doors, they opened. The scene was breathtaking. An counted five green rolling hill ranges, similar to the Smoky Mountains on Earth. He heard birds singing and a strong cool wind blowing through the tall reaching tree tops. As he walked, there was no level ground, the earth constantly moved up or down depending on how the mountain was programmed. Massive jagged rocks scattered all over the mountainside as if someone accidentally broke a huge gray ceramic vase.
An found the camp full of officer supplies and necessities. He relieved his sled of the considerable sized tent and provisions. He separated himself from the rest of the group and prepared to set up his own tent on slightly more elevated ground. An wanted to be sure he could see everything going on at the site, in case any problems arose. He also realized he would have to keep the sabbath somewhere that would not suffer any interruptions. An hoped others would want to join him for Church, seeing that he has not found anyone interested in keeping the sabbath since joining Starfleet.
On Jouret IV, An stayed with many Christians, even with some that celebrated the Feast of Tabernacles. While staying with them during the feast, he learned how to build tabernacles for the festivity. An began gathering leafy tree branches to build his booth. As An built his tent, he remembered the second letter the Apostle Paul wrote to the Corinthians, “For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven: If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked. For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.”

* Larok approached the USS Vesuvius-A stopping to provide the security officer on duty with his orders.*
SO: Sir the commodore left a message for you, to join the senior crew at the Crab shack for dinner.
Larok: Thank you I'll store my bags in my quarters and then proceed there.
* Larok stowed his baggage and headed for the Crab Shack. As he steeped out of the turbo lift on the promenade people Begin to do a double take seeing a blond Vulcan in Marine dress uniform.Entering the restaurant the Commodore was not hard to spot a red headed Vulcan. Walking to the table Larok stood across from the Commodore then saluting:*
Larok: 2nd Lt Larok reporting as ordered mam.

"I am quite certain Captain Smith is not normally like this," Sonak answered amiably, as she saw a blonde Vulcan dressed in Marine dress blues approach. "Just make sure he gets here because I have been looking forward to finally meeting him." She nodded towards Biers as he got up to fetch the human captain, then rose to her feet as the newcomer addressed her.
"Ah yes, Lieutenant Larok, I have been expecting you. Have you been able to find your way well from the Tiger Shark? Admiral Keztrek used to be a captain in my squadron before moving to squadron leader herself. Klingon trained, like yourself she was, and quite a temper to reckon with too."
She motioned to everone at the table to get their attention. "Ladies and Gentlepeople, I would like to introduce the newest crewmember of the Vesuvius. Lieutenant Larok shall, upon confirmation of Admiral Elron, serve with us as senior marine officer. Please give him a suitable welcome and be certain you introduce yourself."
As yet again another armed marine entered, Sonak waved the Sivaoan off. She had been amused to hear the Olympia's senior marine officer growl right back at the mansized cat, but had been irked to hear the first officer call her 'tabby'. "Was there really a reason to insult her, Colonel Wong?" she queried, before returning her attention to the Vulcan marine. "Please make certain you do not fire your side-arm, lieutenant Larok," she cautioned, "that cat overthere, she is Guardsman Snowfall to Srallansre, civillian security officer here on Bellicose and assigned to guard high-ranking visitors. She does not take kindly to seeing weapons in civillian area's of the station."

Larok: Yes mam as for the phaser I will gladly surrender it to station security if you wish; but if someone endangers this crew or station they will have a little more to worry about than an upset security officer.
*Larok turned to the station security officer and apologized in her own language for the breach of protocol. A water approached larok and asked if he would be eating. Larok sat in the offered seat and handed the menu back to the water.*
Larok: Yes I'll have a Cobb salad with French dressing and Altair water. I looked at the menu on the way in.
*Larok sat back and tried to fit in with the flow of off duty talk and dinner conversation.*

OOC: sorry for both the delay and the amount this and the flowing post is, i have not had my own internet connection so i have struggled to keep up with the story line
IC:
Daniel was relieved when he finally finished the last piece of paper work that had somehow or another found its way onto his desk. Making his way to the transporter room Daniel hoped that the transporters had not been taken down yet. Arriving in a quiet transporter room he found an engineer under the consol of the transporter, “Lieutenant, is the transporter still online or has it been taken offline?” Daniel questioned still a little uneasy about the new gold pip on his shoulder, “Yes sir, you can go to the base at anytime” Daniel considered not going but he had promised Evan that he would show him around the Star Base, “well I will be leaving now Lieutenant” Daniel said slightly more sharply than was needed, Daniel stepped onto the transporter and watched as the scenery of the Olympia was replaced by that of the bellicose transporter room.
Stepping down he made his way to his temporary quarters on the base where no doubt Evan was waiting for him to finish. Walking down the corridors he spotted a consol on the wall, “computer please display all ships docked at this moment” as the screen displayed the short list of ships Daniel noted that the flag ship of the Olympia’s squadron was docked next to the Olympia. Continuing to his quarters Daniel thought of what he was about to walk into, rounding the corner he saw nothing different than any other corridor on the same deck. Walking into his quarters he could not see where Evan was, moving to the bed he quickly checked that Evan had not set up some sort of prank before sitting down to wait. =/\=Lieutenant Colonel Wong to all Olympia senior staff. Would you all care to join me for dinner at 19:00 in "The Crab Shack" on the promenade. Bring some friends from your department. Wong out=/\= Daniel laid back and thought slightly before he moved his hand to his comm. Badge to tell Evan if he did not get back before 1800 hours Daniel was not taking him, but before he was able to reach it he heard a sound come from the bathroom followed by the appearance of Evan.
Daniel turned on Evan before he had even moved far enough out to notice Daniel sitting there. “Well when where you planning on telling me you where here hmmm, I can guess, about a minute after I walked into the shower” Daniel passed Evan quickly before looking around, “I know how much you like wearing towels but I think you should start thinking about what you are wearing if you plan to come with me to this evening dinner the XO seems to have planed” Daniel was not really bothered that the XO had made a dinner plan for them without telling them sooner as Daniel felt it was the right thing after all they had gone though. “Well I think a towel will do I think” Daniel just looked at Evan and laughed.
-The Crab Shack-
As Daniel enter he wondered why he had never heard of this place, moving to the bar he waited for Evan to turn up ‘if he does not find her soon I would think he did not plan on finding her’ ordering himself a drink he looked around hoping to spot a member of the Olympia crew. As he looked around he spotted a Vulcan woman looking at him "Captain Smith?" she queried, raising one eyebrow ever so slightly. "I am Sonak Reckus and this is my husband Jatan. We are not late, are we?" Daniel was mildly shocked at the idea that this woman thought he had another gold pip on his collar but then remembered that he was out of his uniform, but before he could correct her Tiberian appeared.
As Tiberian finished he question the drink Daniel ordered arrived, “I think I am ok thanks sir” Daniel moved over as the Commodore started to speak with Tiberian, Daniel then noted that Jatan Reckus had moved to speak to him So, Mr Biers...what's your job on the Olympia?" Daniel looked at Jatan before answering “I am the ships counsellor, and you’re self?”
