Savin was sitting up on his biobed, looking on with a mix of fear and confusion as he witnessed his father's tirade, and him getting shot down by a third persion. "Please," he spoke up, his voice quiet though laced with curiosity and fear, "do not harm my father. He does not know what he is doing, he is overwhelmed."
The younger Vulcan rose unsteadily from the bed he'd been sitting on and as if he were drunk, walked over to where his father had been placed on a bed once more. Expertly, he searched his father's body for injuries, marveling at the fact that the shot had left no mark whatsoever. "What did you shoot him with?" he enquired curiously, "may I see?"
He looked around. "Where are we, exactly? The last thing I remember is emerging from some form of anomaly, and being surrounded by vessels firing at eachother. We were hit, and life-support was failing. Then I woke up here, but I do not recognise where I am. Please...I vow not to touch you, or get near to you. My father was just...overwhelmed. He is a doctor, and tactically trained, he possibly tried to assess everything at once. I am a doctor too, though I have yet to specialise. I was going to be an intern aboard the Challenger, after our brief retreat on Vulcan. Please sir, ma'am, may I speak with your captain?"
While still hovering protectively over the older Vulcan, Savin let his gaze pass over the forms of his mother, brother and adoptive sister. "Are they well?" he enquired softly, before his eyes fell on the officer trying to hide Saryn's precious sword. "Please be careful with that sir," he requested politely, 'my father treasures it, as it was gifted to him a few years ago. He is very proficient with it, and I am certain, willing to give a demonstration when we are released from...wherever we are. It is his most prized possession so please, treat it accordingly, I implore you."

OOC: Adanovic NPC
Adanovic was collecting her equipment from around the area of the Vulcan's biobed, storing it all in her carry-case that would accompany her to her next patient. While Saryn would receive a new carer, he was virtually recovered from the physical ailments he endured from the journey through the rift. It would not be long before he'd be without need for medical assistance.
She happened to twist to look behind her, towards the biobed, as she was packing the last of her bits and pieces away over the chair she had set up to observe Saryn. Another of the Vulcans, the son of Saryn whose name was Savin, Adanovic believed, was standing over his father's bed, searching his body. Perhaps she'd seen the younger Vulcan in her periphery.
After eyeing him carefully for several seconds, the nurse turned back to her packing. She secured the case's latches then slung the strap over her shoulder.
"What did you shoot him with?" Savin asked her. "May I see?" Only now did the nurse notice that a security guard was standing behind her - one of the few that chief of security Wolf had left behind after he left for the bridge - presumably.
The guard hesitated but then held his phaser weapon forward in his hand, showing it clearly to Savin but keeping a firm grip on it just in case. Security were invariably cynical, Adanovic thought. "It's a phaser," she told Savin, "Not like the ones you're used to seeing I'm sure, it was set to a light stun I believe." The guard nodded in confirmation. Adanovic didn't see any point in hiding the technology of the twenty-fourth century from these incidental time-travellers; they had to find out about their temporal leap sooner or later.
As if on cue, Savin then asked about the ship, mentioning that his father meant no harm given his multiple areas of training, and then asked Adanovic and the security guard to see Captain Wong. The nurse glanced at the guard - almost a head taller than her - both of them were thinking the same thing. Neither of them had the authority to grant Savin the audience he wished. Both were simple, enlisted crewmembers on a Starfleet vessel, but of course Savin wasn't to know that. As far as the young-looking Vulcan was concerned, the security guard might have been an officer or even a member of the senior staff.
"Unfortunately we're not in a position to request a meeting for you," Adanovic said. "But I can talk to someone who might be." She didn't know if the Captain or anyone that high-up in the command hierarchy would have the time or will to talk to these new arrivals - but someone had to tell them what had happened eventually.
"And don't worry about your father's weapon," she told Savin by way of acquiescence, "It will not be touched I assure you." Savin was understandably curious at everything and perhaps slightly on edge given the situation. Adanovic sighed; it was only a start, but with this young Vulcan acting as an incidental mediator, her understanding could be advanced such that she could go half way to forgive Saryn for his aggression against her.
"We should go and see Doctor Kapoor about him," she decided, talking to the security guard while Savin was again looking to his father. "Perhaps then we can see about allowing them to see the Captain."
"You really think the Captain will find time, with whatever's going on up there?" the security guard asked, his eyebrows raised sceptically. He rolled his eyes, "All right, I'll go. You stay here and keep an eye on the Vulcans."
Adanovic was about to complain but the guard had already gone, so once again she was left with the 22nd century patients.

Vin and Ghes managed to get things straight with help from the marines, they managed to restore order and got the media off the ship, Vin got his men working on finding out why the sabotage and it turned out to be nothing more then a relay that was bad. He was finishing up his reports for the Captain and Exec when the red alert was sounded.
Vin left the shuttlebay and headed to the lift taking it up to the bridge. He took over at tactical from the Lieutenant that was there. "Thanks Lisa, that was a mess down in the shuttlebay, I'll take over from here."
Lisa smiled and left Vin got settled in his fingers tapping the board then the Colonel spoke after the Kasar vessel had their say.
"Ensign Wolf, what is your tactical analysis of the ship? How long could we last against them?"
Vin checked his readings they were outgunned but one thing stuck out. "Colonel, we are outgunned but theres something odd about that ship and the vessels with it."

Tiana had been updated on what had been happening while she'd been in sickbay, the end result of it was that she wanted to kill Admiral Cain, twice. Once for getting Nawar killed and once for trying to order Tiana into this situation. The worst part of having those thoughts was that now she was more than capable of actually pulling off the murders she was thinking about.
"Commander Galwyn," Ghes nodded, "It's good to see you, how are you faring?" Tiana's gaze snapped round to look at the Denobulan navigator for a moment. "I'm fine," she lied. He words were brisk but not exactly unfriendly. She was anything but fine, she was deep in the post-joining stabilisation period and moment to moment she wasn't exactly sure who she was. She knew that she had a duty to perform and that was all that was holding her together. She knew she probably shouldn't have left sickbay but it wasn't as if there was anyone there who was an expert on post-joining issues.
"Is there something wrong?" Gheskori pressed. Tiana shook her head not really trusting herself, herselves? to speak. Her thoughts settled for second
"I've just got a lot on my mind at the moment." she said, which wasn't exactly a lie. Not really the truth either but not a lie either. She leaned on her console for a moment as her head swam. Her gaze flickered to the CSTO he was joined, maybe he would be able to offer some advice. Not that now was the time for that. She had to stay on duty, that was the important thing.
Then the message came from the Montgomery. Admiral Cain wanted her FO back. Tiana bit her lip for a moment. She could taste blood. She took a deep breath at looked at her Commanding Officer.
"I'm not the Montgomery's FO, I'm the Vic's Chief Science Officer. That isn't going to change." Her voice was brittle and clipped. "She got Cet's host killed once it's NOT going to happen again. Tell her Nawar Cet is dead." She knew what she was saying wouldn't make sense to a lot of the people on the bridge but it didn't matter. Tiberian knew what she was talking about. "If you want I'll tell her."
She gave a slight cough and the look in her eyes altered slightly, possibly subtle enough for no one else to notice it. Possibly not. "I would also request that I am kept away from that woman. I don't think I trust myself, myselves, around her." She hoped that he would pick up on the unspoken part 'and I'm more than capable of killing her now'. She didn't want to say that aloud, it would be too much for her right now. Still Tiberian had read Cet's background centuries in miltary or security. He would know what that meant, would understand that Tiana now had the memories for being responsible for an other person's death.

Savin nodded politely and went to sit with his brother and sister, taking the chair between their beds. He knew either would wake up soon, though that his mother might take a while. His mother always took badly to medications, and sudden changes, and she had been exhausted before their shuttle was attacked. "Sodon, wake up," the young Vulcan urged his younger brother, "wake up brother, you are safe now. We are on a starship. Remember how you liked starships?"
The 15-year old Vulcan opened his eyes and sat up. "Starship?" he queried softly, eyes sparkling in excitement as he made sure his brother could make out his words. "Really?"
"Would I lie to you?" Savin arched an eyebrow. "Father is ill, they just shot him. We seem to be...not where we are supposed to be. Father took badly to it. I need you to look after him while I am gone. There is a Doctor Karpoor here, and a very nice nurse, though she may be afraid of father. I need you to convince her that father means well. I am going to find the captain."
Sodon nodded though he was clearly disappointed at not being allowed to come along. "Do you need me to distract her?"
"Yes. She would not allow me to leave, and there is security present."
The boy nodded, slipped off the bed and started towards the security officer. "Odd gun you have," he stated boldly, "it looks so differently than what father used to have....and what Starfleet has. You are starfleet?" He fired the questions at the poor officer in rapid succession.
Smiling slightly at his sibling's curiosity, Savin took the opportunity to slip out of the cargobay. As he stood in the corridor, he froze at the sight of the length of the corridors. This ship must be massive! Challenger hadn't been this big, he was certain of that. Having overheard people talk to a voice that came out of nowhere, he simply looked up. "Where can I find the commanding officer of this vessel? Please show me somewhere, I am deaf."
The voice out of nowhere replied without hesitation, showing the words on a wall panel in the process. "Colonel Wong can be found on the bridge."
"Thank you ma'am," Savin replied, then proceeded to ask directions towards the bridge. When he finally got there, he was so overwhelmed, he stood rooted to the spot, oblivious to the doors closing behind him. The bridge was even bigger than he'd thought, and it was a beehive of people. Eyes wide in surprise and awe, he took a single step forward. "Colonel Wong?" he called out, drawing attention to him.
ooc: Savin is 50%-ish deaf on either side. If he doesn't know you're addresing him, small chance you get an answer. Approach him from his blind side, and he'll start.

Seething with annoyance over both what she deemed incompetent command by Wong and the Kasar threats, Cain was in no mood for to be said no too. However Cet had just done that.
“Response from Victory Admiral.. Cet refuses to come back.”
The crew looked to her when she didn’t say anything.. they knew that when she was silent that meant she had reached her limit. They had known her long enough to know this was when she was at her scariest.
Standing and with an eerily calm voice she said. “Send orders to the Victory.. Have Cet arrested for disobeying a direct order pending court martial.. failure to have her arrested will result in my relieving Wong of command and having him charged with the same charges.”
She paced the bridge for a few minutes the eerie silence not yet ended. Looking over the shoulders of some crewmembers she took several deep breaths.
A minute passed and no reply.. Cain looked up at her tactical officer and senior marine for the Montgomery and said. “Assemble a team of seven marines. if no reply is received within five minutes have them meet me in the transporter room.. I will arrest them myself.. at which time you will command the Montgomery and I will assume command of the Victory”
Cain fully expected Wong to disobey her yet again, he had pushed her to her limit.. and and in the short time since meeting him had displayed not only a wilful disregard for regulations but a tendency to disregard orders. Not to mention his crew seemed well less than disciplined.
All these things had Cain convinced he wasn’t fit too be a Marine nevermind Command a starship.

** Bridge of the Victory**
The station beeped and the young ensign looked down with a frown, he took a second to read the text communication before he looked up and said with a rather nerve filled voice. “Umm Sirs Admiral Cain has ordered the arrest of she says if her orders are not carried out Colonel Wong will be relived of command and join her in the brig.. We have five minutes to comply.”
<Tag Response>
Not long after he first spoke up, his station beeped yet again, but this time it wasn’t a communication, it was sensor readings coming through. The USS Montgomery the Intrepid Class Flagship of Admiral Cain, had began to move, very slowly but move non the less. Seconds later the Montgomery began a very intensive scan and didn’t seem to be trying very hard at all to hide the fact they were doing it.
“Sirs.. the Montgomery has moved closer and is beginning an intensive scan of the Kasar defences.. I hope they don’t mind being scanned because they sure can tell they are being scanned.”
**Bridge USS Montgomery **
Cain moved her neck slightly to the right until she felt it crack, letting out a sigh she looked back to the Marine standing at the tactical post.
“Any signs of weakness Major.. every beast has a soft underbelly.. find theirs.”
He scrutinized his scans as his face furrowed in near frustration. “Nothing we can see yet Ma’am.. we are still too far out for our scans to be fully effective.”
Cain looked at the view screen with her eyes in squinting, she placed her hands on her hips as she took a deep breath. “We get any closer and we will be in weapons range.. and for now they outgun us.. their planetary defences are too powerful. And that Warship there to bolster the defences we would need fifty ships instead of the ten dregs they gave me.”

".. Odd gun you have, it looks so differently than what father used to have....and what Starfleet has. You are Starfleet."
Adanovic watched the Vulcan boy delivering his string of questions, and although she'd have a fairly rough time with this group, the sight the youngster questioning the security guard did make her smile. But she had duties to attend to anyway, she couldn't spend her time watching the familial exchanges taking place around her.
Rather, she had to be getting on with her duties; Kapoor had requested that she continue to provide for the Vulcan family for the time-being, despite her request to be transferred to another patient group. That was acceptable really. Of course there was Saryn, whom during his period of awakening would cause the surprisingly strong feelings of trauma Adanovic had experienced to resurface.
During this contemplation before returning to work, the nurse completely missed the young Vulcan adult flying from the room. Only when she went around to his biobed where she assumed he had returned to did she alert the security guards present and tell Doctor Kapoor (who was none too happy).
Immediately the Assistant CMO called the chief of security, who happened to be on the bridge... =/\=Ensign Wolf, this is Doctor Kapoor. We are missing one of the Vulcan shuttlecraft passengers from the twenty-second century.=/\= Kapoor thought that was sufficient. Wolf would know what to do.
<Tag Wolf and Bridge>
Gheskori:
The Denobulan couldn't believe what he was hearing.. He remembered reading somewhere about the Montgomery's senior staff. Nawar Cet was a name he had encountered somewhere. So, he was - or rather had been, the Intrepid class vessel's first officer. By some technicality, she still was.
If that wasn't a shock, then the Montgomery's response to Tiana's warning message was even worse. Clearly, Admiral Cain had not taken well to being told she wouldn't get her first officer back.
"Umm Sirs Admiral Cain has ordered the arrest of Cet, she says if her orders are not carried out Colonel Wong will be relived of command and join her in the brig.. We have five minutes to comply." The comms officer reported.
Gheskori slapped a hand on his upper leg in a reflex motion. It had always been an instinct of his when he heard of something ludicrous or alarming. He was standing on the upper level having abandoned the mission ops console, positioned on the left-side of Ensign Wolf. "I suppose we should respond?" he suggested.
He rounded the command area and retook the helm as Tiberian Wong and Tiana discussed rushedly what they would do. Ghes frowned at a reading on his display. "I'm reading an ascending energy signature in the Montgomery's transporter relays. I believe the Montgomery is preparing to transport multiple persons aboard the Victory. They have our shield frequencies of course. Commander Matthew," he talked quickly to the Ops officer on his left. "Do you know of any way we might be able to block their incoming transporter beam without risking the safety of those in the beam?"
<Tag Cmdr. Matthew>
Hypothetically speaking of course, Ghes added silently. They could only assume that Cain was preparing to beam over a team to assure the arrest of Cet and possibly Wong. If Tiberian did disobey the order to arrest Tiana, then the transporter blockage idea might come into effect. It was only dependent on how far the Colonel wanted to stretch the boundaries of insubordination (justifiably, the Denobulan might add).
<Tag Col. Wong>
Just as the reply was being sent through to the Montgomery, there was a minor hubbub at the back of the bridge. Ghes's senses and eyes followed the routes to the source of the disturbance. A young pointed-ear fellow stood by the turbolift doors, looking mildly taken-aback. Gheskori's eyes widened in surprise.

The comm went again, more orders from the Montgomery. The gist of these one was 'Have Cet arrested for disobeying a direct order pending court martial.. failure to have her arrested will result in my relieving Wong of command and having him charged with the same charges.'
Tiana was angry and frustrated, on some level she had expected this it was the natural consequence of her 'failure' to report for Nawar's duty. She wanted to take her ire out on someone, preferably a certain admiral but for a half a second anyone would have done. She slammed her fist into the bulkhead by the science console, she did not feel a bone snap in her hand. 'How dare that woman...'
She barely noticed the debate going on one the rest of the bridge suddenly registering the presence of other people when faces turned towards her after her hand hit the wall. They were talking about blocking transporter beams... It was certainly possible but it was right.
Still duty prevented her from doing what she wanted to do. She was honourbound to deal with this situation herself rather than put her captain in a difficult situation. She took a deep breath and clasped her hands behind her back coming to parade rest,
"Colonel Wong, sir. If I might suggest that you relieve me of duty and confine me to quarters. I will not have your command compromised by my issues. Besides which, if I know Admiral Cain she will all ready be preparing a boarding party to arrest us both and take command of the ship herself. It's the right thing to do, sir."
Tag: Wong
Tiana was on her way off the bridge when her adrenaline levels lowered enough for her to feel the pain in her hand. This was more or less inevitable, she was actually rather surprised that her moves against the nurse earlier had worked. She knew how the techniques worked but Tiana's body lacked the conditioning to take the resulting abuse. "With your permission, sir, I'd like to go to sickbay first. I think I may have broken my hand."

The change in Tiana shocked Tiberian, mostly on how brusque she had become in such a short period of time. He knew that Trill joining would cause personality changes, but the speed at which this had occured was shocking. He allowed her to take her station, as he listened to Matthew's suggestion about disabling the jamming field.
"You have my permission to continue Commander" Tiberian finally decided, accepting that pretty much nothing else could go wrong. "Direct charged magnate radiation pulses into the jamming field, and try and disable it. If you do manage to, then gather as much data from all of our sensors as possible from our current position. We won't be going in for a closer look. And try to..."
<TAG Commander Matthew>
Tiberian's orders were interrupted by a Vulcan entering the bridge, dressed in an outdated robe, and definitely not a member of the ship's complement. Tiberian recognised him almost immediately as one of the people whom they had picked up from the old shuttlepod that had appeared through the temporal singularity.
"Colonel Wong?" the man called out, causing Wong, Wolf and the other security officers on the bridge to reach for their phasers. Tiberian waved them down, even relinquishing his own hold over his weapon as he approached the boy, reasonably sure he wasn't a threat.
"You were one of the people from aboard the shuttlepod, weren't you" He asked, seeing the Vulcan straining to hear him. He raised his voice a little. "You" He pointed "Were on a shuttlepod. Yes" He made a crude driving gesture, followed by a smiling nod, feeling, and undoubtedly looking like a fool.
<TAG Saryn>
His conversation with Savin was then interrupted with a rather brusque message over the comm line demanding the return of her first officer, or more to the point his latest incarnation.
"I'm not the Montgomery's FO, I'm the Vic's Chief Science Officer. That isn't going to change." Her voice was brittle and clipped. "She got Cet's host killed once it's NOT going to happen again. Tell her Nawar Cet is dead. If you want I'll tell her. I would also request that I am kept away from that woman. I don't think I trust myself, myselves, around her."
Tiana was making her position reasonably clear, and Tiberian was not going to argue with her, or him, or whoever it was that was speaking to him at this moment in time.
"Send a response to the Montgomery, Tiana doesn't want to go back, and I'll be damned if I'm going to make her"
"Umm Sirs Admiral Cain has ordered the arrest of Cet, she says if her orders are not carried out Colonel Wong will be relived of command and join her in the brig.. We have five minutes to comply."
"Ok Tiana, you'd better go" Tiberian nodded as he rubbed his jaw in a panic. He'd been in this situation before, but had never hesitated to be insurbordinate for the sake of his career. But now he was the Captain, and the buck stopped with him. Was it changing him, was it dulling his natural instinct for getting the job done?
"With your permission, sir, I'd like to go to sickbay first. I think I may have broken my hand." Tiana broke him out of his reverie.
"No Commander you may not, return to your post and I'll have a medic brought up" This sudden swing in mood aroused a start from the bridge crew who were eyeing him with suspicion.
"Bugger it all to hell, if that lunatic is going to start a war with the Kasar we're all damned anyway. At least let's be damned for who we really are. Commander Gheskori, compose a message back to the Montgomery, inform Admiral Cain that if she wants Commander Galwyn, then she's going to have to come over here and get through me first. Once you've done that manouveure us to the rear of the fleet. Once the wicked witch of the east beams aboard, signal the fleet that I'm taking command, and order them to set course for Assailant at maximum warp. Keep us on station, we may have to stop the Montgomery from making a suicide run at the Kasar ship"
<TAG Gheskori>
"Tiana, help Commander Matthew get through that jamming field and get as much sensor data as possible, we may as well get something out of this mission. And then try and remember whatever you can about the Montgomery's prefix codes. If push comes to shove we'll use them to disable and tractor her back to base"
<TAG Tiana>
"Mr Wolf, assemble security and marine teams throughout the ship, and tell them to prepare to be boarded. Maximum non-lethal force is permitted, but I do not want them getting within fove decks of Commander Galwyn. And once they're aboard, don't let them beam off again. This entire quadrant is safer with Admiral Cain in our brig"
<TAG Wolf>
"And you young man" He pointed at the Vulcan boy, and beckoned him forwards. "Why don't you have a seat here next to me, things are about to get interesting"
=/\=Wong to Doctor Abernathy. Katie, will you come up to the bridge with a medkit, and see if the older Vulcan we pulled off the shutte is up and about yet, and bring him too. I have something up here he lost=/\=

== bridge == "You were one of the people from aboard the shuttlepod, weren't you" He asked, seeing the Vulcan straining to hear him. He raised his voice a little. "You" He pointed "Were on a shuttlepod. Yes" He made a crude driving gesture, followed by a smiling nod, feeling, and undoubtedly looking like a fool.
Savin allowed bemusement to cross his features as he watched Wong try to depict what he meant. In fluent hand-signals, as well as speech, he replied. "I was on the shuttlepod," he confirmed, "with my parents and my brother and sister. Father was awake earlier but someone with a weapon shot him. My brother is also awake. He was quizzing the man with the weapon when I left your medical facility." He shrugged. "Or what is used as such."
His perceptive mind noticed the men and women around him, their stances alert and tense, their hands hovering over their weapons. The young Vulcan's gaze wandered around the bridge, as Wong's attention was diverted from him. He remained stood where he was left, and just observed the mayhem before him.
For a long while, Savin had the distinct feeling that they'd forgotten about him until Wong suddenly called for the attending doctor.
=/\=Wong to Doctor Abernathy. Katie, will you come up to the bridge with a medkit, and see if the older Vulcan we pulled off the shutte is up and about yet, and bring him too. I have something up here he lost=/\=

Sodon heard the message and arched both eyebrows. The fifteen year old Vulcan left the guard for what he was and with big steps approached his father's bed. He shook the older Vulcan's arm roughly. "Father wake up!" he called urgently. "Father please! I think Savin may be in trouble."
Saryn stirred and sat up, looking a little out of it for a few seconds. Then his memory cleared and he blinked a few times. "Savin?" he queried, as the message seemed to repeat. "Who is this Doctor Abernathy?" he then queried, looking squarely at the woman who'd been left with him. "It seems I am summoned. Where is this bridge? And who is Wong?"

Ghes nodded to his orders and set about fulfilling them while the rest of the bridge burst into activity all around him. Forcing the enormity of what Wong had elected to do to the back of his head, Ghes merely focussed on writing the exact message he'd been told to send.
*** [Message 373/38: USS Victory-C to USS Montgomery.
From the bridge of the USS Victory for the eyes of Rear Admiral Patrizia Cain. Admiral, if you want Commander Galwyn, then you're going to have to come over here and get through Colonel Wong first. End message.] ***
Happy with his work, Ghes's fingers danced over the console towards the transmit button and off the message went, likely to a bad reception on the other end.
<Admiral Cain>
With the order that Cain wouldn't be allowed within 5 decks of Tiana, that meant the security would be heaviest around deck six. Gheskori felt, for some reason, that he wanted to be there on deck 6. But it wasn't his job as he knew, and as he was also now under orders to manoeuvre the ship all over the fleet seemingly, he was needed on the bridge. So he'd be a last line of the defence then. Providing Galwyn stayed on the bridge and that Cain got that far, a thought that was in fact frightening and undesirable.
The Denobulan steered the ship in between the Kasar warship and the Montgomery. It was a brave move, if foolhardy. The warship now sat like a giant monastery before them, filling all but very jagged corners of parts of the viewscreen. Gheskori involuntarily gulped, an uncommon physical reaction for a Denobulan. He also slapped his upper leg again much to the confusion of Commander Matthew and others.
"Hailing the Kasar warship and advising they withdraw, sir," he reported perkily, "I hope I've picked the right ship." Whether or not they'll listen - likely the latter - Ghes thought, was another matter.
"No response," he mumbled. They hadn't expected much; the Kasan-thar leader was either busy standing down or pondering the ludicrosity of the order. Gheskori now manoeuvred the Victory right around the fleet, posturing aggressively before the Montgomery in case he'd made a mistake with Wong's hailing orders. It was a fairly easy task, but of course there were the usual stepping stones of half-kilometre long starships to avoid. Clashing shield grids did deflector generators no favours, Gheskori once learned a while back before the Victory.
The Nebula class ship now sat at the back of the fleet, ready to leave the volume with the other ships in tow... The number of which would either be eight or nine, depending on the future of the Montgomery of course.
Ghes prepared his signal to the rest of the fleet, his finger hovering once more over the transmit button. If Cain beamed aboard, Wong planned to take charge and get them back to Assailant.

Adanovic:
"Who is this Doctor Abernathy?" Adanovic jumped at the suddenly vocal voice of the Vulcan.
She looked at Saryn, but found herself only able to hold the gaze for a few seconds before she started withering. She turned away to her duties as she spoke. "Doctor Abernathy is one of this ship's medical staff. She won't hurt your son," she added recognising Saryn's tone, "I say that with utter certainty."
"It seems I am summoned. Where is this bridge? And who is Wong?"
"Colonel Wong is the commander of this ship, and the bridge is on deck one." She answered his questions in quick order, not wanting to withold information from him, knowing what that may do. As she finished she actually spotted Abernathy just as she was preparing to leave the bay, and Adanovic pointed in her direction for Saryn, "Doctor Abernathy."
Finding herself having to jump aside, she watched on as Saryn briskly made his way from the temporary sickbay, following and catching up to the Doctor. Adanovic was only glad that Wong had actually requested the Vulcan's presence, because she likely would've sent Saryn up there anyway, and that wouldn't have pleased the busy bridge crew.

Vin was at his station dealing with the other ship trying to find a way to get passed the other ships wepons when his commbadge chirped. He was informed that a visitor, Savin, was lost by sickbay. Vin tapped his commbadge.
"Security alert all decks, we have a person by the name of Savin somewhere on the ship, he has left sickbay, if found please return to sickbay if he refuses take him to the brig." Vin said then cut the connection.
Vin was not happy, danger outside and now a communique from Admiral Cain's ship, stating she wanted her first officer returned immediately if not sooner, he saw Ghes look towards the lift and his brows lift, Vin turned to see a tall vulcan standing there. Vin walked over.
"Savin, I presume?" Vin asked
<Savin>
"Savin, I would greatly appreciate it..." Vin stopped when the Captain spoke to him.
"Mr Wolf, assemble security and marine teams throughout the ship, and tell them to prepare to be boarded. Maximum non-lethal force is permitted, but I do not want them getting within five decks of Commander Galwyn. And once they're aboard, don't let them beam off again. This entire quadrant is safer with Admiral Cain in our brig"
Vin turned to Colonel Wong and spoke. "Understood, I will take care of it immediately."
<Wong>
Vin tapped his commbadge. "Ensign Wolf to Security go to hugh alert, we maybe boarded, lethal force is not neccesary, but do not let any boarders go any further then where you find them." Vin said.
Vin turned to Commander Cet. "Commander I would suggest staying here, unless the Colonel says differently, I can protect you here from Cain, plus I have something that will make sure she cannot beam you off."
<Tiana>
Vin tapped a place on the wall and found what he was looking for, he took it and placed it on her arm after closing the box back. He tapped the controls and the lights began to blink. "This is one of the new transporter blockers security now has."
<Tiana>
Vin was about to say something else when two marines exited the lift. 'Ensign, is there anything we can do to help repel boarders?"
"Yes, assist my men at every deck, noone gets by thats not from this ship." Vin said.

"With your permission, sir, I'd like to go to sickbay first. I think I may have broken my hand." Tiana said from the doorway to the turbolift. She did not particularly want to submit to arrest but she would not put her ship and her captain in a more difficult position that the one they were all ready in.
"No Commander you may not, return to your post and I'll have a medic brought up" Tiana locked eyes with Captain Wong for a split second, she did not know what had caused his sudden change of mind but there was something in his gaze that said he was ready for a fight. Tiana guessed that she would be in trouble over this later but right now she didn't care. If he was prepared to fight then so was she. "Aye, sir." Tiana said formally and returned to the science station. Somehow her hand was hurting less now that she was actually doing something.
"Bugger it all to hell, if that lunatic" No one on the bridge needed it clarified who he was referring to. "is going to start a war with the Kasar we're all damned anyway. Keep us on station, we may have to stop the Montgomery from making a suicide run at the Kasar ship.
"Tiana, help Commander Matthew get through that jamming field and get as much sensor data as possible, we may as well get something out of this mission. And then try and remember whatever you can about the Montgomery's prefix codes. If push comes to shove we'll use them to disable and tractor her back to base"
"Yes, sir." Tiana responded. One and a half of her hands played over the science console as she began to dredge her (his?) memory for the prefix codes. Admiral Cain should have changed them but somehow given how badly she wanted Cet to turn and how likely she seemed believe this return was, Tiana doubted that she had changed the code. The six digit number floated to the surface she had too many memory she didn't dare dwell on them. She probably shouldn't be working but duty gave her no option. She entered the prefix code in to a PADD and passed it across to Captain Wong.
"The Montgomery's prefix code, sir."

The security chief turned "Commander I would suggest staying here, unless the Colonel says differently, I can protect you here from Cain, plus I have something that will make sure she cannot beam you off." "I shall, Mr Wolf. That sounds most helpful"
Vin tapped a place on the wall and found what he was looking for, he took it and placed it on her arm after closing the box back. He tapped the controls and the lights began to blink. "This is one of the new transporter blockers security now has."
Now Tiana gave a slightly predatory smile, she recognised the device, she'd been reading its specs only a few days (approximately an eternity) ago, and if her/their memory was working she had though of a few ideas for improvements. "Thank-you. I just wish I could be of more practical help, but as you say me being as far as from the Admiral as possible is sensible" Tiana was going to continue by saying that she hoped Admiral Cain saw sense before anyone got hurt but then realised that while she did hope no one got hurt she want to fight, this was her life, her existence on the line. She blinked hard wondering where that had come from, she found herself looking at the slight bemused CTSO.
"Remind me to ask your advice later," Tiana said as she returned to her duties.

"Thank you Adanovic, I'll take him from here" Katie smiled as she approached the old Vulcan, her tunic sleeves rolled up past the elbows. "Mr Saryn sir, I'm Doctor Abernathy. I'm going to take you to the bridge. If you'd like to come with me, I'm sure that Nurse Adanovic will take care of your family down here"
She walked away from the biobed to grab a medkit that an orderly had procured for her to take with her to treat injuries on the bridge. She strode out of the cargobay, with the Vulcan soon pursuing and catching up with her as she made for the nearest turbolift.
"You were on a shuttlepod when we picked you up?" She finally ventured after a minutes silence. She was careful about mentioning the time difference that they had been subjected to, and was unaware of precisely how much had already been explained to the Vulcan. "Where were you headed?"

They arrived on the bridge, where she saw Tiana handing a padd to Tiberian. She waved and smiled at him before realising precisely how unprofessional that was, instead straightening her face and coughing to draw attention to her presence.
"Sir, this is Mr Saryn, I believe you wanted to see him"
"That's right" Tiberian responded, and acknowledging Saryn with a curt nod advanced. "As you can see your son here is safe. Would you mind speaking to me in my ready room. Mr Gheskori, you have the bridge, let me know when the Admiral arrives"

As Tiberian and Saryn left the bridge, Katie moved over to Tiana with her medkit, and tapped her on the shoulder.
"Hey Tiana. I was told to bring a medkit. Is everything alright?"
<TAG Tiana>
Drawing her tricorder, she scanned Tiana's hand, though the tender swelling over the fingers already hinted at an internal injury that was causing inflammation. Her visual assessment was soon proven right when her scans revealed two broken bones within the hand that was undoubtedly causing her some pain.
"I'll give you some afentanyl for the pain, and use an osteogenic stimulator to knit the bone, just try not to go punching out any command grade officers for a while, and you'll be fine" She smiled, paused, and then looked Tiana in the face nervously. "How...how are you...well feeling? I mean since the..."

"Hey Tiana. I was told to bring a medkit. Is everything alright?" Tiana looked up at the bright greeting and was unsurprised to see Doctor Abernathy standing on the bridge.
"I think I may have broken my hand." She held up the wounded extremity but didn't detail how this had occurred although she guessed that the type of injury she had sustained would suggest the mechanism of injury.

"How...how are you...well feeling? I mean since the..."
Tiana gave a wry shrug an expression that wasn't entirely her own. She wasn't quite sure how to answer but wanted to talk to someone. "I'm literally not myself at the moment. I'm not sure who myself is anymore. I've got nearly 500 years worth of memories to deal with and so far I've manhandled one of your nurses, sorry about that by the way, and punched a wall." She leaned on the science console and took a deep breath. "Then I've got an Admiral who wants me arrested as she wants her FO back. I may need you to testify at some point that I'm not Nawar Cet. I know I probably shouldn't be on duty at the moment but I think working is the only thing holding me together."

"... Mr Gheskori, you have the bridge, let me know when the Admiral arrives" Wong told him.
Gheskori nodded. "Aye sir." He stayed in the helm-seat, not feeling at all comfortable with the big chair, nor the sight of it even. Tiberian left the bridge and Ghes's eyes were attracted once more to his console, and the 'transmit' button.. the button which, when pressed, would send the signal to the fleet that Wong was taking charge. A bold statement from the newest CO among the task force, no doubt, but there it was, and Colonel Wong was just the type to make it.
"Hmm, Mr. Wolf? Prepare for the imminent arrival of Admiral Cain. We don't know where she's going to be beaming in to, but we know she can't beam on to the bridge - too heavily shielded and guarded. We need you to be able to immediately be in position."
<Tag Vin>
Ghes knew that Wolf would know these things, but somehow the vocalisation of the concerns in the form of orders made Ghes feel more comfortable.
He watched Doctor Abernathy treat Tiana briefly, but quickly turned back to the job at hand. The fleet still hovered on-screen; hopefully they would clear out once the signal was given, and would leave just the Montgomery and the Kasar 'fortress', off away in the distance and just visible between the intervening vessels.
At that point, the actions taken by all the parties involved were crucial, and it was absolutely critical that he, Gheskori, did not make a mistake. His easy outgoing image would come under strain he imagined, not that it wasn't already. And beneath the whimsical exterior where there was usually a whimsical interior, there was instead a certain amount of raging uncertainty, uncertainty which would certainly cause visible uncertainty when the certain time came for certain actions.
Then it came, the signature of a multiple-person transportation straight from the Montgomery to the Victory.

"You were on a shuttlepod when we picked you up?" She finally ventured after a minutes silence. She was careful about mentioning the time difference that they had been subjected to, and was unaware of precisely how much had already been explained to the Vulcan. "Where were you headed?"
Saryn nodded, though he wasn't fully paying attention to the doctor; he only wanted to get to his son and make sure he was all right. "We were headed to Vulcan," he replied curtly, "we were going to spend some time there, before I would resume my duties aboard Challenger. Savin was going to come with me, to serve as medical intern. He recently graduated from medical school, and has not yet decided on a specialty, but he is leaning towards xenomedicine.
Again, Saryn nodded, while keeping his eyes on the young Vulcan, who was standing a few paces away. "Are you all right?" he signaled to his son, "how did you end up here?"
"I was curious," Savin signed back, "and I wanted to speak with the commanding officer. You were unconscious, mother is still unconscious, so as oldest, I am responsible until you are well again. I wished to report on our status."
"My son is all right," Saryn reported to Wong, "he says he was merely curious, and wished to report. I believe that you should let him, as he was already here." The two Vulcans followed the commanding officer into his ready room. "I would like to thank you for your rescue. We would surely have been destroyed if you had not. Life support was already failing. I would like to apologise for scaring one of your nurses. I believe I was acting..irrationally."
Savin arched an eyebrow. "You were beyond reason father," he supplied helpfully, "you attacked a nurse." He faced Wong. "Please speak clearly sir, if you wish to address me. I can hear you, but with difficulty. I am partially deaf." He nodded once, supporting his speech with hand signals. "I was curious to see the bridge of this vessel, and I wished to report to you, sir about our arrival. My father and I are both doctors, and I noticed that you have many wounded. I wished to offer our assistance, as soon as your chief medical officer would declare us fit for such duty."
The older Vulcan nodded his consent. "I would like to know where we are...Colonel, is it?" He shook his head in confusion. "Since when do MACO's command starships?" he wondered aloud. "Can you contact Captain Kirk on the Challenger, and tell him that we are all right? Please?"

Vin nodded to Ghes about his comment that the Admiral would be coming soon, he had reports coming in that the ship was secured, two officers came onto the bridge, both marines, they took attentions stances by the doors their weapons at the ready just in case, Vin gave them both a curt nod and went back to his panel then he recieved a beep that there was several transports and one was the Admirals bio signs.
"The Admiral is aboard, security and the marines will keep her from getting here shes 4 decks below us." Vin said.
<Ghes, Wong, anyone>
Vins commbadge chirped. "Lieutenant Jackson to Ensign Wolf, we have Admiral Cain stalled here at the turbolift, shes not in the best of moods." The Lieutenant said.
"I don't care how much she threatens you, do not let her pass, thats a direct order from Colonel Wong, call for backup if you need to but detain her there until the Colonel changes his mind." Vin said.
Vin could hear her on the commbadge berating and threatening his people over the commbadge. Vin tapped his commbadge. "Ensign Wolf to all security and marines back up security on deck 5 asap."

"Thank you Mr. Wolf," Ghes said from the helm. The Denobulan may have been given charge of the bridge while Wong was in the ready room and Tiana was busy readying her personal defence, but he still had a ship to fly. Besides, trusting the on-edge Ensign Forest with the job would probably be a mistake.
"Ensign Wolf, confirm that all precautions are in place, forcefields at particular junctures and mobilise yourself should things escalate. Your teams may have the Admiral pinned in position but she is not an Admiral for nothing. She's resourceful and an experienced combat leader." Ghes knew this from reading her service record as well as using his intuition.
<Tag Wolf>
The Colonel returned to the bridge, followed closely by the robed Vulcan whom had arrived not long ago. Where the Vulcan went now was up in the air. Whether he followed his own path or allowed the powers of this century to carry him to new places would be his choice. But right now they were in a crisis situation so Mr. Saryn would have to stick it out, or, lend a hand in his own way.
Ghes rotated his seat around to face the command arena just as Tiberian re-entered it. "I've signalled the fleet that you're taking charge, Colonel," he informed him. "No response yet. I explained a tidbit of what is taking place, so they must be taking it all in, wondering how on Denobula this has happened most likely."
<Tag Wong>
"The Montgomery's continuing its slow course toward the Kasar battleship. They must be under orders..." he trailed off, watching the viewscreen again but it offered no real clues. The Montgomery was but a several pixelled speck amongst the darkness now, the fleet having backed off from it with the Victory's signal. The Kasar ship itself was just beyond the Montgomery from the Victory's perspective, but it was still a way off from it. There was a much closer danger right now.

"I would like to know where we are...Colonel, is it?" He shook his head in confusion. "Since when do MACO's command starships? Can you contact Captain Kirk on the Challenger, and tell him that we are all right? Please?"
Tiberian smiled reassuringly as he leaned forwards and laced his fingers, his elbows resting on the desk. He had to treat this situation with some distinct measure of delicacy, particularly if he was to avoid sending an already hostile Vulcan over the edge. He would have invited the man to sit down, but he was already doing so, so he pressed on.
"Could you tell me, Doctor Saryn, the stardate of your departure?"
<TAG Saryn>
"You see sir, today is stardate 9609.12. You have in fact travelled almost two and a half centuries into the future. I realise this must be a lot to take in, but we believe that you fell through some form of temporal anomaly, the cause of which we are unable to determine. You're shuttlepod was severely damaged, and you were brought aboard my ship, the Federation starship Victory. You are in fact caught in the middle of a conflict at the moment, one that could destabilise this entire region of space. I regret that I do not have better news, but I fear your friends and shipmates are long since dead, and your ship retired from service. How are you feeling?"
<TAG Saryn>
"At the moment I am in no position to offer you anything but accomodation and safe passage to the nearest starbase. After that Starfleet Temporal Investigations will undoubtedly want to debrief you, and you will then be offered some manner of assistance in adapting to the 24th century. Until such a time I will have you and your family assigned guest quarters, and allow you access to the ships computer. If there is anything else you require..."
Tiberian's sentence was interrupted by notification from Ensign Wolf that the Admiral had boarded the Victory. Without a word he stood and dashed from the room, Saryn and his son hot on his heels as he emerged onto the bridge.
"I've signalled the fleet that you're taking charge, Colonel," Gheskori informed him. "No response yet. I explained a tidbit of what is taking place, so they must be taking it all in, wondering how on Denobula this has happened most likely. The Montgomery's continuing its slow course toward the Kasar battleship. They must be under orders..."
"Don't budge us from between them and the Kasar. Use all necessary force to prevent them from entering the Kasar's territory, or from firing on the ship. Use the Victory as a sacrificial pawn if you have to. And you have the prefix codes, use them to drop the Monty's shields and disable her if you have no other choice"
<TAG Gheskori>
"You have command Mr Gheskori, I'm going to relieve the Admiral"
He drew his phaser and marched into the turbolift, modifying the setting to heavy stun. He emerged a few seconds later on deck five, greeted by the sounds of heavy phaser fire ahead. He kept low, and, pressed against the wall, followed the sound of weapons fire until he came upon the friendly sight of Wolf, Martinez and a team of marines and security officers pressed against the wall and under heavy fire.
"Nice of you to leave the ivory tower" Martinez ribbed, smiling at his old friend. "We're pinned by heavy rifle fire, but we've got most of this section surrounded by forcefields and armed personnel. I tried sending gamma team to flank them, but they got hit hard and had to pull back. Looks like she brought enough people with her to mean business"
"Well so did I" Tiberian gritted his teeth. "Mr Wolf, take ten men and move into the section aft of here. Have all your men remove their black outer tunics, and mine will do the same. When I give the signal, we both charge and fire at the same time. No quarter. Anyone in black and grey is a legitimate target. Go"
<TAG Wolf>
Tiberian approached the safe limit against the wall, and called out over the weapons fire.
"Give it up Cain, it's over. You make me come down there, and you're going to have one mad marine to deal with"

She entered the transporter room and looked over her loyal group of Marines, nodding with a small glimmer of pride as she looked them over.
“Alright people no unnecessary force, we are just there to make an arrest.. once we I have read Wong his charges and his rights escort him to his quarters, and treat him the respect his rank has earned him.. The Trill on the other hand chuck her in the brig.”
Nodding at the transporter chief she stood on the transporter padd. The Chief for her part looked up and said shielding around the top four decks has been fortified we can get you to deck five.”
Cain scowled and said. “Do it.. Oh and tell Commander King to change the command codes for the ship.. If Wong thinks he has the power to disable an Admirals ship he has another thing coming.’
With that she and her team shimmered out of existence and onto the Victory.
Immediately after beaming over it became clear to Cain that Wong had decided to make a last stand.. Foolish of him the law and regulations were on her side, as was Rank and time served in Starfleet.
She didn’t see what person fired first or from a Victory officer or one of her men but within seconds a fire fight had broken out. For her part Cain was unarmed she was too smart to be caught shooting at a fellow Starfleet officer.. and her men well they were defending themselves while acting on orders.
The fight went on for ten more minutes her men and herself being pushed back severely outnumbered.. but still taking minimal damage.. she was willing to bet one of her men were an equal match for ten of wong’s poorly trained slobs undeserving of the uniform.
"Give it up Cain, it's over. You make me come down there, and you're going to have one mad marine to deal with"
She turned her head in the directon the voice came from and she held up her hand signalling her mens attention.
“Lower your weapons.. Cease fire.”
She took a step forward after the shooting had stopped and one of her men went to position himself in front of her for the walk into ‘enemy’ territory. She waved him off and he accepted a position behind her.
Walking around the corner she glared at the security men under Wongs Command. She looked at him disgust and pity in her eyes.
“Mr. Wong.. you have ordered your crew to fire on a Flag Officer of Starfleet.. you have evaded arrest for gross dereliction of orders.. Now maybe just maybe Starfleet Command would have sided with you and thrown out my charges.. the old Wartime Admiral on her warhorse again.. but you lost all credibility when I was opened fire on.. You are over.. give up now and I will see to it your crew is spared the consequences of their actions.”
She took a step closer to him and looked him straight in the eye. “You hide behind your men. Because you were afraid to face me.. you’re a Coward.. not fit for Command and a disgrace to those who died in that uniform.”
She tapped her commbadge. “Cain to Montgomery.. set course for the closest Starbase.. proceed at maximum warp.. contact the Judge Advocate generals office, tell them they are going to be very busy.. very soon.”
She dropped her hands.. “Balls in your court.. you going to continue digging your Grave… and I assume it is your intention of placing me in custody.. if so I demand to rights of privileges my rank affords me.”

“Balls in your court.. you going to continue digging your Grave… and I assume it is your intention of placing me in custody.. if so I demand to rights of privileges my rank affords me.”
Tiberian grimaced as he looked into Cain's cold, flint grey eyes, knowing he was damned either way. If Cain had continued firing, she would have forced Tiberian into taking her down, thus strengthening her case, and by surrendering, she was making damn certain that she was in a favourable light when this came to court. He hated that he'd been pushed into this corner, but wouldn't back down. After all, this entire incident had been brought about by her lack of command finesse, and he was damned if he would take the blame for stopping her starting a major war.
"Ensign Wolf" He called out, as the security chief approached with his armed detail. "Relieve the Admiral and her staff of all weapons, and confine them to VIP quarters, with all the dignity affording their stations. Then report to the bridge"
He gave a little mock bow to Cain, and turned on heel, leaving the Admiral to be manhandled by security as he made for the nearest turbolift, Martinez in tow.
<TAG Ensign Wolf and Admiral Cain>
"We are up to our necks in it now" the old marine said as he leaned against the turbolift wall, watching Tiberian stare blankly at the door. "What are you going to do?"
"Damage limitation, it's all I can do" Tiberian responded after a moment, having settled in his mind on a course of action. The course of action, the only one available to him to do what he must, to save his ship and his crew.
He and Martinez emerged onto the bridge, greeting a surprised bridge crew, mostly due to the fact that they were now running from the Kasar at high warp, and that the Montgomery was actually in front of them.
"Commander Gheskori" Tiberian gestured to the Denbulan to join him at the tactical console, just as Wolf returned to the bridge. Tiana was close at hand as well, as Tiberian let out a slow exhalation of breath.
"Computer, transfer all command codes to Lieutenant Commander Gheskori, authorisation Wong 64 Theta Proxima"
"Command codes transferred"
"Lieutenant Commander Gheskori, I hereby appoint you as Acting Captain of the USS Victory. Your first duty should be to relieve me of command and place myself and Commander Galwyn under arrest for mutiny" He removed the phaser, stun baton and marine issue knife that he carried as a matter of course from his belt and placed them on the tactical console. "Ensign Wolf, relive me of my weapons and take me and Commander Galwyn into custody. You should confine us to the brig"

As he and Tiana were escorted from the bridge, he offered her a rather wan and pathetic smile.
"I'm sorry it has to end like this Tiana, but if you've got Cet's memories, then you probably can tell that Cain isn't going to let this go. If she can't have the Kasar then she'll want to destroy something, and all I can make sure of is that she has as few targets as possible to fire at. I don't expect you to forgive me, but I hope you understand"

"Could you tell me, Doctor Saryn, the stardate of your departure?"
"I do not know what a stardate is," the Vulcan replied stoically, "however the year was 2158. Challenger had just returned to our own galaxy, after spending months in another. We did encounter two vessels that were out of time as well..." He searched his memory, while keeping his eyes on the marine before him. "One was the Raven, the other was called Vesuvius. Why?"
"You see sir, today is stardate 9609.12. You have in fact travelled almost two and a half centuries into the future. I realise this must be a lot to take in, but we believe that you fell through some form of temporal anomaly, the cause of which we are unable to determine. Your shuttlepod was severely damaged, and you were brought aboard my ship, the Federation starship Victory. You are in fact caught in the middle of a conflict at the moment, one that could destabilise this entire region of space. I regret that I do not have better news, but I fear your friends and shipmates are long since dead, and your ship retired from service. How are you feeling?"
The Vulcan seemed stunned into silence, his complexion having turned a very pale green. "I feel...overwhelmed," he confessed, staring at his son.
Savin too had paled, having followed the conversation as his father translated in sign-language, and responded in kind while giving a vocal answer. "All dead?" he whispered, unbelieving. "How is that possible..."
Saryn shook his head. "The anomaly," he reasoned, turning back to Wong. "What can you offer us? I am an experienced medical doctor, and I have tactical experience. Obviously, I may need some re-education but I doubt the basics have changed in over two centuries? My son too is medically trained, he was going to be an intern on Challenger..."
"I want to help," Savin cut in, looking slightly alarmed.
"What we require is as much information as you can give us colonel, and authorisation to help you here as much as we can. While..outdated,...we can still offer our assistance. We are Vulcan, colonel, we learn fast."
