inhabitants of a scientific colony Vyimi II
because their sun is acting up.

The channel had opened and closed in a matter of seconds, but in those few seconds, Lillian's plans were ruined. The wretched Captain had not believed her and she was going to stay in orbit.

~Damn it~ Lillian thought as she kicked the boxes around her. She needed to rethink her plan, her curtness must of sent red flags. Though she didn't want people walking around her colony snooping things around.

"What are we going to do Doctor?" Lillian's assistant asked.

"We are going to continue our research in plain site," Lillian responded," we are going to show them that we are in no danger and that should convince them to leave."

"Doctor must I remind you that they are going to be here in a day," her assistant said.

"Know Mark, you don't have to remind me," Lillian snickered," if the Victory is still around, we'll just have them destroy it. Now hail the Victory again, its time to invite our guest."

"Captain Cir'Kem, I wish to apologize for my rudeness," Lillian said," it's just that my work has been my only companion for the last eight years. That being said I would like to invite you and two of your officers to our colony."

When John reached the bridge it was quite busy, but all you could hear was the captain and commander talking about what to do next, then the lead scientist haild the Victory and John put it up on screen.[/glow]

Lee got the physicals for Commander Matthews and Ensign Roberts done quickly so they could return to duty.

She looked over the crew roster and sighed. ~Time to get started on the captain.~ She thought.

Lee decided to send a message to all the rest instead of contacting them individually.

Lee decided to get some of the reports done while waiting for the crew to show up. She hoped the First Officer wouldn't try to get out of it like the captain would.

Ian got up from his seat and walked over to the turbolift. He entered the turbolift. He waited a moment to see if anyone else was going to use the turbolift also.

He faced the door and said, "Deck twelve." The turbolift kicked to a start and stopped at deck twelve. The door opened up and he walked out of the turbolift towards sickbay. Ian didn't really want to get any kind of examinations, but he couldn't avoid it forever. He entered the door of sickbay and looked around for a moment.

“all of the Strange sensor reading are coming from the planet it self ,

“Cmdr Matthew Handed the Captain a padd with the sensor logs I know you are maybe you can make some since out these reading .

“Just Before Cmdr Matthew return to his Duty station he turn back to speak ,Captain as a Operations officer one of my best skills is reading people and the surprise look on Dr. Diego face when she Learned there was a federation star ship in orbit ,

“She did not look all that happy which mean she didn’t send the Code-1 Emergency Signal to Starfleet ,But now she knows someone did , I would surmise that some where down on the planet is the person that did and could Answer all of our Questions ,But if I was her I would already be looking for him or her as well .

Nika nodded. “Thank you,” she replied, pleased that the scientist seemed to be at least inclined towards being reasonable, then she closed the channel. She turned immediately to her first officer, understanding what Tiffani's objection would be. “This is a Federation scientific colony, I hardly think the restriction from captains and away teams applies.” It would be like forbidding captains from visiting other Starfleet vessels, Nika silently added to herself.

Nika frowned. Doctors always had to choose the worst possible moment for sickbay physicals, and then, if previous experience meant anything, Dr. Daniels would probably be upset with Nika for finding the whole of the Victory more important than a visit to sickbay. Nika wasn't even adverse to having a sickbay physical, and if she wasn't currently awaited on the scientists' base, she would probably be on her way down without giving it much thought. Unfortunately Nika didn't think she should delay the scientists unduly, they seemed to have been reluctant enough to offer the invitation in the first place.

She tapped her commbadge. </\>This is Captain Cir'kem to Dr. Daniels. I can't come down to sickbay just now, but will as soon as I have a chance.</\> Nika hoped the commsystem was able to fully convey the regret within her voice, but Nika's worries about the doctor's wounded feelings were quickly replaced by other, more pertinent, ones. She listened to Commander Matthew carefully, and what he said certainly seemed to make sense. Especially about the scientist not sending the distress signal.

Nika nodded to his comments. “Would you be interested in coming with me to the research station to investigate the situation?” she asked.

Nika then realized she should probably be on the safe side and bring some sort of security. The question was, should she bring the marine chief or chief tactical/security, since this seemed to be a situation for a senior staff member. She decided on Ensign Roberts, since marine officers seemed to spell distrust far more than the CTSO would. She walked up to him. “Are you interested in coming down to the research base?” she asked him. “There probably won't be anything for you to do, I don't expect difficulties, but...” Nika let her trailed off sentence speak for the slight worries she didn't see the point in giving substance to.

Wigram had been out of touch for some time as repairing the ship and making sure the transporters systems were working and trying to overcome problems were making him a senior officer recluse.

Wigram: Dr Daniels- apologies for not responding sooner, i have been out of the comm. areas so I only received you message when i got back.

Daniels: That’s ok, would you be able to come down any time soon?

Wigram: Well things are a little hectic, but i maybe be able to make it, just give me 20 minutes.

Ralph Wigram had been under the transporters pad. It was unusually dirty and it appeared much of the dirt was clogging the system. Strange how something so simple could cause so much trouble.

Wigram: Ok- you chaps had better clean the entire padd out, we need it spic and span, I can not believe it has got into that state. Crewman Joel- you are now responsible for the cleanliness of the pads, if they get to the point they cause and obstruction again, you are for the high jump.

They reached transporter room one with no problems and told the Chief O'brian (If you don't know him he was in DS9 and next Generation) "When your ready captain" O'brian said.

"Energize" the captain told and within a matter of seconds they found them selves on the planet"[/glow]

"Yes, captain, I look forward to seeing you when you have time. Daniels out," she said and then noticed a couple of someones came to see her. She quickly motioned for them to have a seat, right before her commbadge went off again.

"Okay, see you in twenty minutes, and please try not to be late," she said, and ended the conversation. She walked over to the officer first.

"Sorry about that, had to answer a few calls. If you could tell me a bit about your medical history, allergies and old illnesses and injuries, but just the serious ones that could effect you now," she said as she started to scan.

Wigram bounced off to the sickbay, as Chief Engineer he was never away from his teams, he was also seeing them when he was on route somewhere, so he always checking to make sure everything was going smoothly. He was very pleased with the behavior up till now of the teams, they were efficient and very well behaved, a real credit- he just hoped it would hold.

Sickbay was almost in view, the doors opened and a group of people were near a junior medical officer, an Ensign. He realized she must be the Chief Medical officer.

A nurse walked over to where Wigram was standing. They were not very tall and even younger than he was.

Nurse: Can i help you sir?

Wigram: I am due for a medical check in about 5 minutes.

Nurse: Would you like to take a seat in the office sir?

Wigram: No thank you- I should be OK here thank you all the same.

He stood with his hands behind his back watching what was going on, it was interesting.

"Sorry about that, had to answer a few calls. If you could tell me a bit about your medical history, allergies and old illnesses and injuries, but just the serious ones that could effect you now," she said as she started to scan.

Ian shook his head and said, "Nothing that I know of." He waited patiently as she scanned him.

Kaylee finished her scan. "Good to go, have a nice day," she said and moved onto the next one.

"Go ahead and get this next officer, I can wait," the woman said, and Lee smiled as she moved back toward the now empty biobed motioning for the officer to sit down on it.

Once he was there she started to scan. "Okay, is there anything I should know about in your medical history, allergies, old injuries that are acting up, illnesses and the like?" she asked moving the tricorder around to see if there was anything that could be ailing the officer. She noticed his rank. ~This must be Ensign Wigram. Good to know he is prompt.~ She thought as she continued.

After the medical officer dismissed him, Ian walked out of Sickbay and looked around for a moment. He turned towards the turblolift and went in. "Bridge." The turbolift kicked to a start and hummed as it went up to the bridge. Ian walked out and walked straight back to his seat at the helm. "Anything new while I was gone?"

Nika dematerialized from the Victory transporter room, reappearing on the planet. Due to the suggestion of a security officer Nika's commbadge was open and being monitored. Nika had thought that the security officer was being paranoid, but everyone else seemed to think they had a good point.

Nika looked around the dome, with Commander Matthew and Ensign Roberts behind her. She watched one of the scientist leave quickly to get Doctor Diego, which surprised Nika a little, she had told the scientists when and where she would be beaming down, but she guessed the scientist was busy. Nika glanced around at the dome, she found it fascinating, she had never been on a planet that wasn't terraformed before. She noticed that while the atmosphere outside was filtered to take out any harmful UV rays, the dome was still see-through. It made the habitat seem rather gloomy, definitely not somewhere Nika would choose to spend a great amount of time if she could avoid it.

Dr. Diego came up to them then, and Nika smiled. “This is Commander Matthew,” Nika introduced. “Chief Operations Officer, and Ensign Roberts, Chief Tactical/Security Officer.” Nika didn't mention that Matthew was also acting science officer, it wasn't that relevant to the proceedings.
