Magellan paced Ops a new aware that something was up. Sev and Dinas were constantly sqwauking at one another, he knew Sev was trying to tell him something but what ever it was, wasnt getting through. Dinas had bonded to Lin and Lin let very little through, just feelings and emotions. He waited as he heard reports of Tedak attacking a guard, beaming down and then back up. That Drew had arrested him, and now that there were odd reports coming from the brig. Magellan was beginning to wonder if this wasnt some elaborate romulan trick, was D'Berens kidnap and Tedaks behaviour all some kind of decoy. "Zoilip, Prep the Copenhagen and have all ships deployed in a standard defence pattern and Launch fighters." "Expecting trouble sir?" "Where Romulans are concerned I always expect trouble." Magellan replied dryly.

Krotak carefully put the last elements of her plan into action. The disruptor was still warm in her hands, it felt good. She exited the hanger and crossed quicky to the hanger deck. The sensor deflector masked her presence sending out false images to any passive sensors. She hurried through the Arcade and back in to her quarters. Carefully she disabled the holo mask that had displayed an orion visage and sat down, a glee ful grin on her face. At times she loved her job. Next she accessed a secure terminal and checked the transporter logs. Pulling out a palm sized device and conducted a site to site transport to Qualinost, the same location as Tedak had been. Checking the coast was clear she began to search for Jak'dors office, even a Comms relay would do.
***
Lieutenant Kamadi finished another circuit of the hanger and rubbed his eyes wearily. It was nearly time to knock off and he sorely needed some sleep. Suddenly something alerted him, a cry, a soft wail. Kamadi followed the sobs to a shuttle. He over-rode the lock mechanism and carefully went inside. Cautiously he went aft and stopped in surprise. quickly he tapped his comm badge. "Ops This is Kamadi, I ve found the child." "Is he safe?" "I think so. Send the Doc down." "Where is he?" "Hes in Ambassador Tedaks personal Shuttle. And its powered up ready for departure I think. I cant tell because its programmed only to respond to Tedaks command." "Understood will send a team and the Doc down. Ops out."

Tedak was growing fed up with everything; he hated being on the run when he hadn't done anything wrong. His fight with Saarok had been staged, but he hadn't even been given the chance to explain it to the human admiral. "It's all prejudice," he muttered angrily, as he leaned against the wall.
Earlier, he had lost his balance when rushing down a set of stairs and he had banged his left arm rather painfully against a protruding object. He had felt the sickening snap of his arm breaking and he had nearly fainted as a result, but he was resolved not to get caught.
He had torn strips from the hem of his robe and crudely had strapped his arm in place. As a result though, he was now completely out of balance. He feared for the life of his son, and hoped that soon the boy would soon be returned to him in good health. He knew however, that with recent events the chances of that were extremely moot.
He sighed and gritted his teeth as he crawled on, if it could even be called crawling as he had only one arm to balance himself on. After several minutes he paused again and pulled out the phaser he had confiscated from an unsuspecting guard earlier. He didn't like using phasers, or disruptors for that matter, but rather preferred to rely on his own fighting skills and his blade.
He played with the weapon and gazed at it blankly. "It is so easy," he murmured as he changed the setting to kill and pointed the barrel at his heart. "It would all be so easy." He stared at the weapon for a long time, then changed the setting back to heavy stun and pocketed it. "But what would it gain? I would be marked a coward, and what effect will that have on T'Val?"
The Romulan diplomat leaned back, grimacing as his whole left side started throbbing. He really should go to sickbay, but he couldn't chance being caught. Yet, he could summon one of his firelizards. Instantly, as he thought about them he felt his duo react to his thoughts. "No," he whispered, "Nut stay with Dinas, Sev....stay in my quarters just in case. I can't risk them following you. Nut you are in rapport with Dinas, under no circumstance are you to lead him to me. Just refuse if he demands, you are older than he is, you are his sire. And you two can honestly project that you do not know where I am, for I have not given you any directions on that matter."
He forced a smile as he felt the two react. Nut would keep Dinas distracted for a while, though his loyal brown had informed the young bronze about Tedak's predicament. Now it was up to the bronze to inform Magellan. Then Tedak realized that Dinas wasn't bonded to the host, but to the symbiont. "How's that for a down point," he muttered.
Then he had an idea, as he knew Saarok wouldn't betray him. "Sev, find Aeris," he whispered, needing to hear his own voice in order to think clearly. He was starting to become extremely exhausted and he couldn't think straight anymore. His adrenalin leves were sky-high, and it was taking its toll on him, despite him still being quite young for a Romulan.
"Find Aeris," he whispered again, "and have her tell Saarok everything, including my location. Tell her I need help." Then he slumped against the bulkhead, too exhausted to crawl any further. He needed to rest.
In the ambassador's quarters, the little bronze chirped and disappeared, only to re-appear right before a startled golden firelizard. Squawking in annoyance, Aeris hopped aside. Sev followed her, and forced her to look at him. His eyes were whirling yellow and orange in sheer alarm as he sent images of the injured ambassador to the Firelizard Queen.

After Saarok received a discreet signal that Tedak has been busted out of jail he finished his conversation with Drew in which he pointed out how ambassador Tedak was stressed out, and that he should be confined to sickbay rather then to a brig and a psychological evaluation executed over him. Drew said he would consider the ambassadors suggestions and then he left his office. After Drew departed, Saarok waited a few minutes before he left his office. He got his guards and with them proceeded to Pauls office. After he arrived there we was allowed to enter. "Ah, ambassador Saarok"; Paul said when he saw him "You are just in time, i was just about to inform you of the recent news.", Paul started "Proceed"; Saarok told him "My people who were keeping an eye over senator Krotak lost her when they were following her to the docking bay, however minutes later an Orion entered her quarters. And just a few moments after that we detected the senator inside and she was alone to just a few moments later to detect as no one was inside her quarters as if she transported out.", Paul resumed "SO logic states that the Orion was actually senator Krotak wearing possibly a holo mask or camouflaged in some other way.", Saarok said "Indeed, however once they realized that the Orion was actually the senator I’ve had my friend here", he pointed to a man working on a computer, "accessed the security logs and traced the movement of the Orion, and he or she, however you wish to address her, met with someone in the hangar bay, the readings are unclear to the exact location or who she met with, however they picked up several memory discharges occurring within the hangar bay, but the alarm didn’t go of because it was assumed as a malfunction on one of the ships which are being repaired."; Paul continued "And my view is this, she killed someone somewhere in the docking bay, then went back to her quarters and transported of to who knows where, the transporter logs show evidence of being tampered with so we do not have an exact location on that.", Paul resumed "Sir", the man working behind the computer called out to Paul "Security has been alerted someone found several alien bodies, dead somewhere in the hangar bay, security are on their way as is one of the admirals, and the escape of Ambassador Tedak has been detected" "Well this just proves our point, she killed someone, but you know that the evidence we have here will not be able to be used if they accuse your friend for doing this.", Paul said "Indeed, he will need to defend himself", Saarok said Just then his Aeris sent him several images of Tedak in pain and where he was. Saarok got up and after telling Paul that he had some work to tend to, departed from his office. He told one of his guards where they were going and what they will do. After a while they arrived to the place where Tedak was supposed to be. They climbed into the Jeffries tubes and after a bit of crawling got to him. "Trouble seem to always follow you ambassador", Saarok said when he got to Tedak <Targ Tedak > After a bit of shuffling around the managed to pull him out of the tube and the two security guards carried him of to sickbay closely followed by Saarok.

Tedak was barely conscious when the Saarok's security men dragged him off to sickbay. He yelped when one of them touched his injured arm, but he allowed himself to be carried off.
He gave Saarok a worried glance as his friend mentioned the word trouble. "Aren't I always?" he answered weakly, as the security guards dumped him on a biobed. He shot them a glare, but said nothing to them. Currently, he had other things on his mind, like how to stay out of the brig, and out of Drew's hands.
"Lily?" The Romulan suddenly asked, as he wanted to ask the computer entity where Drew was. However, Lily had gone completely silent. "Someone must've locked her out," Tedak muttered, "and if someone did, that means the entire station is on lock-down." He winced as a nurse crudely splinted his arm. "Be careful with that woman!" he snapped angrily.
"Well excuse me for trying to help you," the female nurse said and stalked off, "Doctor Mercy is otherwise engaged, but I'll be sure to report you to him. This behaviour is unheard of!"
Tedak shook his head in annoyance; at least the throbbing pain was gone and he could think more clearly again. "Thank you," he finally told Saarok, "but I can't stay here. I must find my son, before she kills him, and I have no doubt that she will, even though she has what she demanded."
He froze, when suddenly Drew marched into sickbay. "Quick, the curtains," he whispered, as he watched Drew come their way. "Too late, now what?" he said, as he got up from the bed, a fresh sling adorning his attire. It required a doctor to heal the fracture, and as Mercy was busy, all the nurse could have done was splint it until Mercy could have a look at it.
His gaze darted around sickbay, but there was no place to hide. He stood up straight as his gaze met Drew's, and the man's face was speaking thunder. Fear was visible in the Romulan's eyes, but it wasn't fear for the human. Determined to stand on his own, he shook off the two guards. "Saarok you mustn't stay here, if you do you'll get arrested as well, and that would gain us nothing. I know you don't like lying, but just pretend that your guards found me and that you only came down to verify."
The Romulan's gaze rested on Drew again, and he squared his shoulders, wincing as he did so. That action would probably lead Drew to conclude that he feared the man, but that was the least of his worries.

"On what charges exactly would he be able to arrest me? Even if he does decide to proceed illogically and attempt to do so he will violate the rules of the United Federation of Planets, which if required could resort in him being reprimanded and even confined to the brig. As for me being here with you, I could have simply come to sickbay for a neural scan regarding my memory loss and encountered you here by accident. Also I am in no way obligated to answer any of his questions regarding my reasons for being here as the rules state.", Saarok replied
"Therefore it is logical that he will not, arrest me, as you say, as it would go against everything he is bound to represent and protect and I am sure the admiral would not be willing to proceed in such a way. Even the fact that he decided to arrest you is breaking the rules and endangering the relations between the federation and the Romulan Empire. And will not go without repercussions."; Saarok finished as Drew was approaching

LtCmdr T’Lor had made a full recovery. It took several days for his wounds to heal, but he pulled through.
Stuart was at an impasse. He still needed to perform complete physicals of Ambassadors Saarok and Tedak, and of Cmdr Tomlinson. With the latest incident this task just wasn’t possible. All were deeply involved one way or the other in helping locate Tedak’s kidnapped son.
Stuart needed to get his mind and body some exercise. He decided to go to the holosuites section after his shift. Entering the familiar holo-gridded rooms, Stuart activated one of his programs. “Lily, pay attention, I’m about to show you one of Earth’s most ancient sports still being played today. Activate Mercy Alpha Two.”
The grids transformed themselves and the holosuite was now a soccer field, complete with full squads of players for two teams. Stuart played outdoor soccer as well as indoor. There wasn’t much of a difference other than the size of the field and the fact that you could use the walls indoors.
There were about two minutes left and Stuart’s team was losing two to one. Stuart was playing the position of Right Center Defender in a traditional four four two set up. An opposing attacker was charging with a fast counter attack. Stuart set himself up right in front of him to block the impending shot. It was to no avail. When the attacker wound up and kicked the ball, Stuart did deflect the ball. It deflected in such a way that the goalie was caught going in one direction while the ball was able to go in the opposite and still ended up in the goal.
The game had ended with the final score of three to one. Stuart was a little disappointed, but overall he thought he did well. At least his body ‘said’ he did, as he was feeling his straining muscles of his legs. After all, it was the exercise he came for.
Stuart returned to his quarters to retire for the evening.
OOC: Just realized that I've been tagged twice so to speak (you know, a friendly tag line would have been nice...lol). I'll respond to those tags in my next post. timeline wise it could be the next day. I'll make it work.

“Actually Ambassador Saarok,” Drew said as he approached, “I am well within my rights to arrest Ambassador Tedak, and if I had any proof of your involvement in these matters I could arrest you as well.”
“But as you say Admiral, you required proof of any involvement, as I am not involved, you will find no proof,” Saarok answered.
“Being an Ambassador does not put you above the law,” Drew said in reproach, “you would do well to remember that Ambassador Saarok.”
“Of course Admiral,” Saarok answered in a cool voice, “and to my knowledge, I have always remembered that.”
Drew stared at Saarok for a few moments, and then turned his attention back to Tedak. He knew Saarok was somehow involved in these events, just like he knew he would never be able to prove it, and Tedak had really done himself no favours by breaking out of the brig. It was clear the two Ambassadors believed it was Drew causing the diplomatic crisis, but even an Ambassador could not assault someone, or misuse Federation equipment. A famous quote from the President during the Klingon Crisis of 2292, was “even this President is not above the law.” Clearly, Tedak and Saarok should remember that quote.
“Ambassador Tedak,” Drew said sternly, “I am to inform you that we have located your child, he is in your personal shuttle.”
“I must get to him,” Tedak said urgently.
“Not so fast Ambassador,” Drew said, blocking the way, “at the moment, that area is a crime scene, for a crime you are a suspect in, I cannot allow you to enter the area.”
“This is outrageous!” Tedak bellowed.
“No Ambassador,” Drew said, “what is outrageous is how you have shown a disregard for the rules and regulations of this station, and a complete disrespect to the laws of the Federation, the manner you have conducted yourself in is unworthy of your position, or your status on this station.”
“You do not understand,” Tedak said crossly, “I had to save my son.”
“Oh I do understand Ambassador, believe me,” Drew said, “but you have to understand that it was not your place to act as you did, you should have come straight to us with your information, not allowed yourself to be blackmailed, as a result of your actions, a criminal is now loose on the station, maybe they have even now escaped.”
“Admiral I must protest,” Saarok said, “you are out of line, and being most unfair to Ambassador Tedak, who only wanted to save his son.”
“Which he would have done quicker and safer with the help of the security forces on this station, not against them.” “Can I see my son yet?” Tedak said, ignoring Drew’s words.
“If you come with me, arrangements can be made for that,” Drew said, “however, do not consider yourself off the hook Ambassador, a full report on this situation is being sent to your Government, your fate is in there hands, not mine.”
Before Saarok could object further, Drew turned round, and walked out of the Infirmary, behind him the security officers escorted Tedak to follow Drew, with Saarok close behind them.

"But of course admiral you must excuse my choice of words, in the case where evidence exist of one breaking the rules you are fully entitled to confine him to the brig and, I, give you full support if that is the case."; Saarok added as they were walking down the corridor
"However some minor unpleasantries can also be overseen for the benefit of mutual relations between two sides. And then we need to count in the tremendous pressure one is under when his child is abducted which can make him act irrational. As I am sure admiral that you would do exactly the same thing as ambassador Tedak did if it was your child that was taken and do not attempt to convince me that you would not because I know as well as you that you would do it."; Saarok said "Also if necessary a psychological evaluation could be done which could prove that the ambassador was unaware of what he was doing as his mind was transfixed only on the safety of his child and taking all this into account some of his actions could be overseen. Also no one was injured according to the latest reports; the transporter officer was simply rendered unconscious and is now feeling fine. Without any side effects.", Saarok continued
"Therefore unless we have some more crimes to add to what he has committed, I only see minor offenses which could be overlooked when circumstances are taken into account. I am sure the ambassador will admit to all he has done and express his remorse over what he needed to do but when one is faced with a situation like this all logic is gone from his mind. There are numerous cases of this occurring in Earths history if required for reference.", Saarok said
"Also i belive you still do not know who is behind the kidnapping?", Saarok asked

Tedak couldn't understand what all the fuss was about. Evidently, his son had been found, but now they wouldn't let him near him. He stood quietly as Drew and Saarok exchanged words, and he did understand that either of them had a point.
Technically, he had misused Federation technology, and in some way he had indeed broken out of the brig. On the other hand, he disagreed with Drew on not having contacted anyone, because he had. He had informed Saarok, and he had indirectly also informed Magellan. Could he be faulted if the Trill had not caught his intentions?
"All I wanted was to save the life of my son," he said bleakly, as a security guard stepped up to either side of him to escort him to the hangar bay, "if I had told anyone directly, they would have killed him. The information I have passed on is genuine, however I have not given them complete information."
He paused and stopped as they approached the hangar bay. "I have deleted a few key elements of which I knew they would not even know they existed. I only knew through Elder JakDor, and T'Val." He gazed at the closed door, and dreaded going in. The guards however, were otherwise inclined and ushered him in.
There, the nanny stood with the toddler in her arms. Instantly, the boy squirmed and held out his arms towards his father. "Da!" he cried happily.
Guards forgotten, Tedak stormed forward and roughly grabbed the child from the nanny, hugging him fiercely. "I am taking him back to sickbay," he informed Drew, and waited for the guards. Now that he knew his son was safe, all else mattered very little to him. "Doctor Mercy will have to verify if he is all right."
Then he noticed something. "My shuttle is ready for departure, who did this? Nobody can access my shuttle besides myself or T'Val, not since you stole it once." He cast an accusing glance at Drew. "Oh I know what you're thinking," he growled, "but I have not been near my shuttle since the incident in the Fish Tank, nor have I been since verifying that all repairs were done correctly."
The Romulan gazed sideways at Saarok. "And yes, I do know who was behind the kidnapping," he added softly, then glared at Drew, "and no I would not kidnap my own son! Not when the relation with the Debrune are at stake. I need not remind you that my wife is distantly related to the Debrune? My son is important to them, and to me, and more so to my wife. What would I gain, by hurting him?"
He pointed at his son, who was clutching to him as if for dear life. "If I had, would he react like this?" he challenged. He stood clumsily, balancing his son on one arm while the other was still supported by the sling. "Admiral, if you would be so kind to reach into the right pocked of my robe....." He said softly; he no longer wished to hold on to the phaser, his worst fear had not come to pass. "You will find a phaser set to kill," he said, "kindly remove it, as I do not need it anymore, now that my son is safe. However, I would be very grateful if someone could look for my blade. Besides a weapon, it is a ceremonial item, and it was a gift from my own father. I would very much like it back."

Assured that matters were on the right path Senator Krotak decided to hammer in the last few nails into Tedaks coffin. Gathering her robes she nodded to her guard and took his escort up to the Command Level. She waited at the Security Station at the edge of the level whilst clearance was granted and then shown up to Admiral Magellans office. "Admiral am I to assume that Starfleet is unable to find our citizens child? Its bad enough that an attack was made on a diplomatic function I was attending but that a member of my race should be..." Magellan held up a hand to quell the tirade, "Firstly I do not appreciate being harangued in my office, I do not allow it by my staff and I will not allow it by you. Secondly the child has been found safe and well, and thirdly I would like to point out that you werent present at the function, I believe you left moments before" He left the last statement hanging in the air, an implied accusation. Krotak bristled a second and then resumed heer verbal battle, "And lucky it was too. I could have been kidnapped, surely I was their main target." "There is much uncertainty." "I see. But you have captured the kidnppers surely you have interrogated them?" Magellan smiled one of his dimplomatic smiles, "Unfortunatly the kidnappers were dead, we found the child alone." "Alone. But that makes no sense. Why kidnap a child and then abandon it without ransom, on Romulus ransom is a regular affair never have i known it to end like this" Krotak cocked her head to one side in mock puzzlement, "I sense complex motives at work here." Magellan nodded wryly, "That is an understatement" "Well be assured the Romulan Star Empire stands by you in this. D'Beren despite his ancestory is a romulan citizen and we will help you bring the culprit to justice" "This is our balliwick Senator, but I appreciate the sentiments." "I understand, I will be departing in the morning but until then I ll help how i can." Magellan looked up, "Your giving up?" Krotak turned, "Yes, Jak'dor doesnt seem to be the type to change his mind and I have no wish to continue to bang my head against that wall" "I dont think I ve met a romulan who backs down as easily as you." Krotak smiled weakly, "We romulans are not how we once were and besides I hope that in time Ambassador Tedak can foster an agreement with the Debrune, thats if I can persuade the Emperor and the Senate to keep him on." "Trouble?" "No more than usual. Ambassador Tedak has a somewhat shaky past. This assignment was supposed to be a quiet retirement post. The Senate has little faith in someone with such a... dark background." "I see. I need to consult with my staff but will be in touch soon." Krotak nodded and turned to leave, "Jolan tru Admiral" "And to you" magellan answered.
Magellan sat awhile trying to disentangle the knot of plots within plots. He didnt trust Krotak, he didnt trust Tedak, hell he didnt trust any romulan. And yet, and yet something in him felt that Tedak had acted correctly, something through Lin was attempting to reassure him. His terminal bleeped and a face appeared on the screen. "Admiral I am most annoyed" "Jak'dor what can I do for you?" "As I said I am not amused. Someone has broken into my office and the main reactor." "Anyone hurt?" "No not at all, but it appears plans for the reactor have been downloaded. Its theft of the highest order." "I can assure you that no one on my staff was responisble." Jak'dors eyes narrowed, "What about off your staff?" "That remains to be seen. You will be pleased to know that D'Beren has been found." "Oh thank the divine. Where, is he safe" "Yes hes safe. He was... found aboard a shuttle." "And the culprits caught?" "Not quite yet but we are working on it." "I want them brought to justice. I ll come aboard" "Very good Jak'Dor, we'll expect you." "Indeed. Jak'dor out." Plots within plots Magellan groaned to himself. "Lily where is Drew" =^=Drew? There are currently 6 Drews aboard the station=^= "Admiral Drew" =^=Admiral Drew is in the hangar bay=^= Magellan rose and went to join him.

Magellan arrived in the Hanger to see Tedak with D'Beren ushering him to sickbay, Ambassador Saarok, Drew and several security officers. "Paul" Magellan called waving the other Admiral over, "Well we have the child back" "So I see, and its left one hell of a mess." "Whats that?" Magellan pointed to the phaser in his hand. "This. Its Tedaks" He held it up and turned the weapon down to stun and then powered it down. "Tedak? Tedak hates guns, swears he never uses them" "I know. But he gave it me himself." "And it was set to kill?" "Yep. Thats pretty serious business. Better check its signature to the burns on the bodies." "Already underway. This whole thing stinks you know" Paul said ensuring they were out of earshot of everyone. "Either Tedak stole the child, or someones doing a damn good job of framing him. Thing is I can't think of a reason why Tedak would fake the kidnap of his own son. Theres no motive." "Theres an added complication. Someone stole the Debrune Reactor plans. I m betting it was Tedak." "That could be where he went when he attacked the Transporter Chief." "Which would give him an alibi? He couldnt be down on the planet and shooting the commandos" "Perhaps, it wouldnt take long to steal the designs and then beam straight to the shuttle shoot the commandos and leave" Magellan shook his head, "Your right this whole thing stinks. Tedaks up to his neck in it. Fact it looks like he stole the designs. Fact he attacked my men, Fact he was carrying a phaser, a phaser set to kill. Theres a piece we're missing and I ll be damned if I can put my finger on it whats your take on it?"
<TAG Drew>
"I want you to question Tedak again and Saarok, he always knows more than he says. Find out what their story is exactly. I m going to do a bit of digging with the Romulan consulate on Earth."

As Tedak walked down to sickbay with Saarok and the two guards, and Saarok carrying the child for him, Tedak wondered what would come next. He knew he had told Drew the truth about stealing the information, and he also knew that he hadn't killed anyone with that phaser, despite it being set on kill.
Nobody knew about his previous plans to kill himself, when he had been sure that his son was killed, and if he could help it, nobody would find out about that shameful act either.
Gratefully, Tedak had Saarok hand the child over to Mercy, who was now freshly back on duty, for examination. However, the guards wouldn't let him wait for the result, nor would they allow him to wait for his own treatment.
If D'Beren had not been found, Tedak would've caused a scene to demand treatment, but right now nothing could really ruin his day anymore. At present, all he wanted to do was sleep, in the knowledge that his son was safe. "Saarok, I have a request to make," he said, motioning for the guards to move out of earshot. "I am not going anywhere, other than with you, once I've spoken with Ambassador Saarok," he said, and they reluctantly walked away, phasers trained at him just in case. "I want you to take care of my son, until I am released," he requested softly, "if Elder Jak'Dor wishes to see him, allow him to see the child for as long as he wants. However, do not allow him to take the child to Qualinost. You may tell him that the child will pay his respects to his people very soon, and that is a promise."
He looked at his friend, pleading. "I know that this is asking a lot, but I really do not trust anyone else with the child."
After hearing Saarok's answer, he walked up to the guards, and quietly went with them to the brig area, and on his own stepped into a small cell. In silence, he lay down on the cot and closed his eyes, but despite his tiredness, sleep would not come.

Paul Castellan was sitting in his office, alone, he was thinking the Romulan senator caused him problems, caused him to lose money, and he certainly was not going to let her get away with it, if necessary he would have her removed, no matter what the consequences would be she was not getting away with it.
Then he decided to get some profit out of it while he still could. He had all the evidence to accuse her of multiple cases of murder, kidnapping and he could add a few more things to the list if necessary but if she was caught he was sure she would not live long in a penal colony she would most likely be neutralized by the Romulans themselves and they deny any involvement with her actions in order not to jeopardize their relations with the federation.
"K'Tor, get in here, now"; he yelled knowing that the klingon was behind the door
"You called, sir?", he asked
"Yes i have another assignment for you, I need you to smuggle a message to ambassador Tedak, he will most likely be back in the brig by now, but even if he is not it shouldn't be too difficult to locate him. Give him this message:
Those who are like the Thompsons Gazelle chased by a lion and wish to evade the pending doom, would get together with others who can make the lion go away and pay for all that he has done while setting the Gazelle free again. Yes or now the question is now. But they yes does not come free.", Paul said
"You think the Romulan will understand that?", K'Tor asked
"I hope he will because I can not offer him anything better than that.", Paul said
"I will go right now"; K'TOr said as he turned to leave
"Wait, you won’t be able to get to him easy, have Jackson beam down, tell him to come in his uniform and then give him the message. He owes me a favor and tell him that when he does this for me we will be even", Paul said
"Of course, sir", K'Tor replied as hurried on
--Meanwhile in another place--
When Tedak asked Saarok to look after his child Saarok appeared to be thinking for a moment before he responded again.
"As much as I am honored to have your trust, I can not look after your child for several reasons one of which is my memory loss I would not know how to proceed at it, therefore I must recommend that you proceed in the most logical way and hand over the child to admiral Drew, he will no doubt do this for you even tough he might not think of you highly", Saarok said
After a short discussion Tedak reluctantly agreed to have Drew look after his child. After that was arranged Tedak went to the brig escorted by the guards.
--Sometime later in the brig--
Lt. Cmdr. Jackson was approaching the brig. He estimated that the time to execute his assignment would not be more than 5 minutes. After he arrived to the door they swung open and he stepped insider to be faced by 5 guards who pointed phasers at him. Seems like they tightened security, he thought.
"All praise for being so alert gentlemen but you might want to lower those weapons now."; Jackson said
"How do we know you are not an imposter who came to free the ambassador?", one of the guards asked
"Perhaps my clearance code will testify to that."; Jackson said as he entered his code in the computer when the display confirmed it and guards lowered their weapons at once and apologized to the man
"Now then, I am here to see the ambassador, lower the forcefield and wait here."; he said as he went to the cell in which they held Tedak
"Ambassador Tedak", he started as he went in
"I am Lt. Commander Jackson", then in a lower voice he said, " I have a message for you it goes like this:
Those who are like the Thompsons Gazelle chased by a lion and wish to evade the pending doom, would get together with others who can make the lion go away and pay for all that he has done while setting the Gazelle free again. Yes or now the question is now. But they yes does not come free.", Jackson finished
"I need your reply, now so you have violated some rules here and I am here to investigate it", he said in a higher voice to trick the guards
Then again in a low one he said: "I will not be able to stay here for too long, please be quick in your decision, if it is yes a meeting will be arranged in which the yes can be agreed upon"; he said

Tedak opened one eye to glance at his visitor and didn't bother to get up as the visitor recited his message. Though Tedak had no idea what the message was supposed to tell him literally, he did have a fair idea of what it was supposed to say.
"Get out, before I call security," he said slowly, "whoever sent you, the answer is no. I have committed no crimes that require escaping confinement in order to escape punishment. I am safest here, and here is where I shall remain. Get lost before I inform Admirals Lin and Drew of your visit."
The Romulan bared his teeth and glared at the visitor, anger flashing. It was already bad enough that he was confined at all, he didn't need people approaching him with offers to break him out for payment, whatever the payment would be eventually.
"Get out," he repeated, and turned his back on the visitor.

"Settle down ambassador"; he said at a bit louder voice
"Do you need us to stun him sir"; one of the security officers asked
"No, no he will behave."; Jackson yelled at him
Then he lowered his voice again:
"No one is offering to bust you out, that would not be possible at this time", Jackson said
"They are offering you evidence which has been collected and is 100% authentic. And", he lowered it even more, "It will prove that senator Kretak is responsible for the incident of the kidnapping of your son and the murder of the commando squad found in the hangar bay."; he added
"Now then ambassador, is there something you want to add", he asked in a higher voice

"If you have evidence that can prove my innocense, than as security officer it is your duty to provide it to the person who is leading the investigation," Tedak growled, still keeping his back turned to the security officer.
He didn't want to have to do anything with people who offered information and expected future favours or payment in return.
"I will tell you once more, get lost. If you are smart, you will offer any information to Admiral Drew, who is leading this investigation. If he asks me about this, I will answer any of his questions truthfully. Whoever sent you, I will not accept information offered in exchange for payment."

"Do not concern yourself about any repercussions I may face, it is you who you should be worried about, but have it your way, you were offered means to pay back the senator for kidnapping your child but if you do not wish to do it, fine I do not gain nor lose anything.", Jackson said
"Good bye ambassador we won’t see each other again"; Jackson said before he went out of the cell and the forcefield went back on
He approached the security officers and asked them not to reveal that he was there as he was not meant to talk to Tedak without the mediator. After the officers agreed Jackson went out of the brig and towards the office of ambassador Castellan. His access code will remove an physical evidence of him being there and the guards will not reveal that he was there, another job done, alto not with the expected outcome but still he tried his best.

Doctor Staurt Mercy arrived at his office early the next morning. He couldn't help but notice security guards outside of the infirmary's main entrance. He knew security had been stepped up since the abduction of the Debrune child, but it seemed a little over done.
When Stuart entered he was further surprised. More security guards, with weapons drawn at Ambassador Tedak who was holding his child D'Beren, while Saarok was talking to him. Tedak noticed Stuart walk in.
"Ah, Doctor Mercy! They have found my son. Please ensure that his health has not been compromised." Tedak handed over the little tyke, after which Stuart placed him onto a biobed.
"That shouldn't be a problem. He was just here earlier this week. Comparing his current health with the new scans of that day should be as quick as a meteor burning up in an atmospheric decent."
Stuart brought up D'Beren's previous scans and proceeded to scan with his tricorder. He seemed in good health other than elevated levels of adrenalin.
Stuart overheard Tedak's plea that Saarok be D'Beren's caretaker for the time being. Saarok suggested that Adm Drew take over that responsibility. It seemed ludicrous. A space station admiral had eneough to do.
Stuart chimed in. "Ambassador Tedak, I'm giving your son Cortical Analeptic do help decrease his levels of adrenalin, probably due to all of the excitement he's been experienceing. In fact it is going to help put him to sleep, so for the time being you he will remain in my care and when he wakes, I'm sure nurse Tsomba and I can take care of him until you have settled your troubles. Just leave a security officer here with us for added safety."
Tedak seemed a little reluctant until he recalled how Stuart was very helpful with Lily and he was sure that he would not let any harm come to his child. What kind of doctor would he be if he did. He agreed until further notice.
The two Ambassadors left with security guards in tow, minus one. The infirmary became a quiet place once more.

Drew considered Magellan’s question, in truth he wasn’t too sure what had been going on. It was clear both Tedak and Saarok knew a lot more than either were letting on, and that they had both done things they shouldn’t. However, Drew doubted Tedak would intentionally harm his harm, but, Drew could well believe that Tedak would use his son as a cover to disguise whatever he was up to. He said as much to Magellan.
“That Romulan Senator is somehow connected to all this as well,” Drew said, “she is giving up far too easily.”
It was then Drew remembered he had Tedak’s padd in his hand. He quickly activated the small device, almost at once; the plans for the Debrune Reactor appeared on the screen, as did a confession from Tedak that he had stolen the plans.
“While, that confirms my theory,” Magellan said, as Drew showed him the padd, “the question is, why did Tedak steal the plans?”
“Blackmail,” Drew said simply, “we already know someone was using his son to get to him.”
“Go and question him and Saarok again,” Magellan said, “lets get to the bottom of this.”
Nodding his head in agreement, Drew left the shuttlebay, and made his way up to the security level. The two guards he had posted were still stood outside, each armed with a phaser rifle. Drew was taking no chances that Tedak would again break out.
“Ambassador,” Drew said, walking into the holding area, “we need to talk.”
“I thought everything had been said Admiral,” Tedak replied.
“We know you were being blackmailed Ambassador,” Drew answered, “we know how they were blackmailing you, we know what they were blackmailing you for, we have a pretty good idea who was doing it, we just need you to confirm it.”
Drew waited in silence for Tedak to give his answer.

Tedak rolled onto his back, grimacing as he brushed the side of the cot with his injured arm, and glanced sideways at the admiral. "You already have that confirmation," he said quietly, "I have given you the PADD and the phaser. Had I all done this on my own, without blackmail, I would not have gone through so much trouble to find my son, and would I not have let myself be locked up again without complaint, if at all."
He drew himself up slightly and swung his legs over the edge of the cot to sit up. "The guard whom I took the phaser from, is he all right?" he asked, "and did you find my Honour Blade yet?"
He avoided meeting Drew's eyes as he spoke next. "And the Debrune, what are they saying?" he continued, "have they been shown the information that I downloaded?"
At Drew's silence, Tedak concluded that the admiral had not come down to be asked questions, he had come down to get a simple yes or no to his own question. "Yes," he said finally, "I was blackmailed, they threatened to kill my son if I would not do as they said. I naturally refused, but they were very....persuasive. I made a mistake then. In anger I threw my Honour Blade at them, which they took with them. They would use it to kill my son, so that all the evidence would point to me." He never mentioned to Drew, who exactly had blackmailed him, and why.
He then cast a curious glance at Drew. "It does, doesn't it?" he then asked, his voice suddenly hollow, "that is why I am still locked up, because the evidence does point towards me." He lay back down again, suddenly feeling defeated, wishing once more he had the phaser. "Well then, Krotak has her wish then," he whispered sadly, "for she wished me removed from my duties. I have failed the Empire, I have failed the empress." He turned his back towards Drew. "Leave me admiral, you do not wish to be associated with a traitor to the empire. It was their plan all along it seems, to discredit me, and apparently they have succeeded."

"Oh Doctor Mercy!" Nurse Jill Tsomba had just remembered her earlier treatment of Ambassador Tedak. "I nearly forgot with all of the commotion going on. Ambassador Tedak has a broken arm. I was able to splint it and have helped alleviate his pain, but the bone needs resetting."
"Ah, I see. Admiral Drew and his security goons were apparently just way too busy to care, it seems. I guess a housecall to the brig is in order."
Stuart gathered a medkit that was specially outfitted for bone fractures. He strode out from the Infirmary and made his way to the brig.
Upon arriving, Stuart could see Adm Drew in the cell with the Ambassador. Stuart heard how Amb Tedak said, "Leave me admiral, you do not wish to be associated with a traitor to the empire. It was their plan all along it seems, to discredit me, and apparently they have succeeded."
"Well traitor or not, I am here to treat you without prejudice one way or the other, unlike others." Stuart approached and one of the guards positioned himself to block his progress. "You had best stand aside. Under the Articles of the United Federation of Planets you are illegaly holding a prisoner who is supposed to have had complete treatments for his injuries."
Adm Drew turned around to look at Mercy and the guard in his way.
Without giving the Admiral a chance to respond yet, Stuart continued. "Admiral, at the very worst I will activate an Emergency Medical Lockdown of this station. It will take you several minutes to counter it, but by then this station will have been hampered to the point that it will take hours for it to resume normal operations. I'm sure you don't want to deal with the headaches of that. You may reprimand or even dismiss me for it, but I assure you that my final report for the treatment of Ambassador Tedak will be equal in its ramifications."
<Paul>
The guard accepted the slight nod that the Admiral had given him, stepped aside, and deactivated the forcefield. Stuart hated to use threats like this, but he would not stand by and watch his patients be treated inhumanely, no matter how minor the injury may seem.
Stuart stepped into the cell. Taking out his tricorder he started with a hemostatic scan. It verified that Amb Tedak had no internal bleeding in his arm, but one small contusion. After checking the bone fracture, Stuart saw that Jill had been correct, it would need resetting. Knowing that Adm Drew would be adverse to his prisoner returning to sickbay, Stuart was going to have to do this the old-fashioned way.
"Ambassador, I have to reset your fracture. The simplest way really, is for me to pull on your forarm. I know that you have a higher threshold for pain than us humans, but it will still smart a bit. Are you ready?" Stuart grabbed his forarm awaiting his response.
<Tedak>
As soon as the Ambassador finished speaking, Stuart yanked firmly on his arm almost bringing both of them off-balance. Amb Tedak did not yell out. Stuart rescanned the area, the bone was in place. The final treatment was the use of a bone mitigator to help speed up the healing process of the fracture. Stuart resplinted the arm, repacked his medkit, and stepped out of the cell.
<Tedak>
"Ambassador, there is no need to thank me. It is simply my duty. I would be less of a doctor if I were to let criminal prejudice, or any other kind, get in my way." Stuart looked straight at Adm Drew when he had said this. "And yes, your son is doing just fine. He is still sleeping. I have also taken the priviledge of forwarding a message to your wife to help ease her mind."
"Gentlemen, have a nice day!" Stuart strode out, not sure if he had strained his relationship with Adm Drew or not. Time would tell, but he did the right thing.

Before Drew could reply to Tedak’s statements, he was aware of somebody behind him, turning he wasn’t overly surprised to see Dr. Mercy. The Doctor looked annoyed, clearly unwillingly to let one of his patients suffer, but uncertain just what trouble he might get into for arguing with an Admiral. Knowing full well that Dr. Mercy out-ranked him in all medical matters, Drew maintained his icy glare, figuring it was better to appear annoyed and bothered.
“Please Doctor,” Drew said, standing aside, “treat your patient, but be quick, we have much to discuss.”
Drew watched Dr. Mercy treat Tedak’s injured arm, he hadn’t spent much time with the young Doctor since his assignment to SBA, but from what Drew had seen, he was an excellent Doctor. Which reminded Drew, he really needed to follow through on the advice Dr. Mercy had given him a few days ago, about looking after himself, and dealing with his past experiences.
Drew also took the opportunity to watch Tedak as he was being treated. The usually proud Romulan was clearly feeling very depressed, and right now, Drew rather suspected the man was almost suicidal. Of course he would never say such a thing, but he had noticed the set to kill phaser, and the knife Tedak usually carried. Perhaps Tedak also could benefit from talking to a Counsellor.
Finally Dr. Mercy was finished, he exchanged words with Tedak, and then giving Drew an wide berth left the brig.
“So Ambassador, who do you think has set up?” Drew asked his tone neutral.
Tedak looked up at Drew, his eyes darting about the brig, then fixing onto Drew’s face.
“I cannot say,” Tedak replied finally, “they may wish to prove me a traitor, but I am not.”
“I presume from your comments you are referring to the Romulan senate,” Drew said casually, “perhaps even the recent representative we have had here on the station.”
This time Tedak didn’t answer, instead the Romulan lowered his head, apparently hugely interested in the floor beneath him.
“I see no reason to keep you further Ambassador, you are free to go,” Drew said suddenly, after a period of silence.
Very slowly, Tedak once again raised his head, a look of utter confusion on his face.
“But all the evidence points to my guilt,” Tedak said quietly.
“Indeed it does,” Drew replied, “however, my gut instinct tells me that the only things you are guilty off are the charges I already arrested you on, and for those consider yourself on bail until further notice.”
“Admiral, can you do that?” Tedak asked, very clearly puzzled.
“I just did Ambassador,” Drew answered, “this doesn’t mean your let off the hook, but I believe you are going to be more useful this side of the force field.”
Pressing a side control, Drew lowered the force-field, setting Tedak free once again, although this time legally free.
“Go to your son,” Drew said simply, “we can deal with this in the morning.”
Tedak looked at Drew, then at the two security guards, then before anyone could change their minds, the Ambassador ran from the brig. Drew watched him go, there was still a mystery to be solved, and Tedak was still up to his neck in whatever it was, but Drew didn’t believe him guilty of murder, or of kidnap.
Tomorrow, the answers to the puzzle should finally be known, or so Drew hoped...

Tedak thanked the CMO for taking care of his arm, as well as his son, then returned his attention to Drew, who obviously was not inclined to leave. The admiral's behaviour puzzled him; for someone seemingly convinced of his guilt, he was acting very oddly. Tedak was even more convinced of this when the admiral deactivated the forcefield, and told him he was free to go, albeit on bail.
Shaking his head in confusion, he ran from the holding cell area. after Mercy to sickbay. Once there, he closed his sleeping son in his arms and hugged him tightly. The boy didn't wake but did snuggle up against his father. Also, the two firelizards instantly appeared, chittering happily and rubbing their heads against Tedak's cheeks in affection.
For the first time in hours, Tedak actually smiled. "Yes I missed you both too, and I am very sorry that you both had to go through this." He gazed at Nut. "What did Dinas tell you, after you told him about me?"
The little brown gazed at him intently, and Tedak nodded. "Don't worry, I know you have tried. You are a very good pet indeed." He gently stroked his brown across his back, and then also showed the same affection to his bronze. "Come, let's go home."
The Romulan didn't miss the two security guards still following him but he didn't mind at all. When the two remained at his door to stand guard, he invited them in. "I think you will be more comfortable inside," he said, "my son's safety is more important than mine. If anything happens, you are to take care of him first, understood?"
The two guards looked confused for a moment, then nodded they understood.
"Good," Tedak continued, then motioned to the couch. "Make yourselves comfortable, I believe you know where you can find the replicator, if you need anything. Right now, I am going to give my son a bath and then make sure he's comfortable."
Tedak still couldn't believe that his son was safe, and that he was released from the brig. He also knew, that he wasn't home free just yet, and that he would still face charges for stealing important information. Yet he also felt that, if he betrayed Krotak, she would retaliate even worse than she had done now. She was a member of the senate, and it would be her word against his. No matter what, Tedak believed his diplomatic career to be over.
"Admiral Magellan, this is Ambassador Tedak. Would you please come down to my quarters, I believe we should talk." Tedak waited for a response, hoping that the admiral would come down without question. He knew he owed the commanding officer of the station some explanation, even if he couldn't tell all. The only person who knew all, was his closest friend, who happened to be a Section 31 operative on the side. Officially, Tedak didn't know, but he had guessed quietly at some point even though he had never alerted his friend of that knowledge. In addition, he wasn't about to betray Saarok's trust on that front, ever.

Joint post with Tedak
Magellan made his way down to Tedaks, he paused en route to pick up a phaser. He fitted it to his belt and continued on his way. Magellan stood at the door and rang the bell "Enter," Tedak called, watching the guards warily. Magellan pressed the opener and stepped through. "Ambassador - what can I do for you?" "Aefvadh," Tedak said politely, and motioned for the admiral to come into his quarters further. "Did my firelizard relay my message?" "I m afraid not. Dinas is linked to Lin, I gained a sensation but nothing definite, Was it important?" Tedak nodded gravely. "I fear that it was, it would have saved base security a lot of trouble." He motioned for the admiral to sit down. "Then my honour would be intact because then I would not have had to resort to.....criminality."
Magellan frowned, "That was your choice. You made the wrong one. You may have diplomatic immunity but you run far too free for my liking. You over stepped the mark here and are lucky that we know you were under duress or else diplomat or not I would have made you face the consequences. I look after my people" Anger flared in Tedak's eyes as he glared at Magellan. "I never said that I was unwilling to face the consequences of my actions!" He took a deep breath in an attempt to regain his previous calm. "I have tried to inform you by the only safe means I thought possible. I was unaware that Dinas is bonded to symbiont rather than host." Again he paused. "However, unlike some people think, I was not responsible for the kidnapping, or the death of those Romulan commando's. The phaser that Admiral Drew confiscated had not been fired, at least not by me. The guard I took it from is unharmed, I made sure of that."
Magellan turned his back a moment to look out the window "The fact remains, you attacked one of my officers, you took his weapon, you stole from the Debrune. Matters on that front are delictae enough as it is. Both Drew and I suspect you arent behind the kidnap, we arent that stupid. The evidence was too heavily stacked. What I protest at is the manner in which you conduct yourself"
"I hardly had any choice," Tedak retorted, "it was the life of a Debrune child on the line. Had I not done it, they would have killed him. Adding to that, I changed the data that I did take, so that it would be useless in the end. I was being watched, had I warned anyone, they would have killed my child. I would sooner face disgrace, than endanger my family." He glared at the Trill, who still stood gazing out the window, "but you wouldn't know about that would you. About family." Magellan stood their impassivley despite the barbed comment. "One. there is always a choice. You may not like it but there are always options, yours was to come to the authorities we could have scanned the station for D'berens life signs. and Two having a family is irrelevant this base is my family and every soul aboard my children. I owe them protection and support.all 100,000 of them. I will admit that changing the data was an attempt to do right but it still leaves us with a problem. We know Krotak organised it but have no evidence what so ever. And she leaves in the morining"
This alarmed Tedak. "We could...." He faltered, unsure as of what to say. He knew that the admiral was right with every word he spoke, he just hated to admit it. "What if..." he started again. Then he smiled, though it was an angry smile. "She still has my blade," he whispered, "there was no way she could have gotten it other than taking it from me. Of course, she got it because of an angry and stupid act on my part, but she still has it."
"How do you propose we get it back?" he added after a long silence. Magellan turned away from the window a slight grin on his face, "That could be the opportunity we need. Its certainly some level of proof, but a lawyer would get her to slip free easily. So she's got your knife. They ll say you gave it her, you planted it. She may even admit to stealing it - but it doesnt link to the kidnap nor the theft of materials, its your word against hers. However there may be an option" Tedak raised an eyebrow, gazing at the admiral questioningly. "And what would that be?"
"I take it your honour demands that you claim back that blade. You also havent had chance yet to give her the PaDD with the info correct?" Tedak nodded. "Mnhei'sahe is involved," he admitted, "in fact, honour would demand that I kill her to save my family, and save the face of the Debrune. Well yes, I did give her the PADD...though for some reason that I cannot recall, I had it with me when Drew arrested me." "she probably downloaded the contents and returned it to you. I doubt she wanted any evidence. Okay Tedak you have a choice now, a tough one, agree to help or let Krotak go" "Letting her go is not an option," Tedak growled, grinding his teeth in rising anger, "and I am surprised you even dare suggesting it."
"I dare only because my plan holds much risk. And I want you to realise the truth that there is always a choice... shall I go on" "I am surprised you ask," Tedak repeated, "anything other than the truth is not an option. Continue." "I see we still dont understand one another" Magellan laughed, "But it doesnt matter. You need to go and retrieve the honour blade." "Then make me understand," Tedak said irritable, "this is hardly a laughing matter. Honour is at stake, and much more. Yes I need to retrieve my blade. But that senator is a hnoiyika, she's devious."
Magellan shook his head, "I think we should leave such philosophy for another time. For now you need to go and get your blade. Krotak like you has immunity and to be fair she has more weighting than you - She is a Senator. We cant just search her rooms, even on your say so.. Searching for the blade will do two things. It will antagonise her and secondly you may uncover something else. Krotak leaves tomorrow so you best act quickly"
Tedak nodded. "I will confront her directly, she may not expect that. However, what are the risks to me? What will happen to D'beren, if anything happens to me? Don't get me wrong, this is a risk I must take, honour demands it." "The risk is your death I would imagine D'Beren well I expect Jak'dor will want him back - but there is still T'Val. But that sounds like defeatist talk. A direct challenge would probably be most effective, she will be suspicous that we have let you go. Whatever happens dont explain why you are. Just say they have other evidence they are looking in to"
"I will pretend I have escaped again," Tedak suggested, "and will also pretend that my son has not yet been found. I would prefer the guards to remain here to guard him. Yes, there is T'Val, and since she is of Debrune descent they will not take the child from her. She has always had his best interest in mind." He smiled fondly as he mentioned his wife. "If you do not hear from me in thirty minutes, send in the cavalery." "No tedak, you miss what I mean - Krotak is clever she will know by now you have been released and that the child has been found. The way to beat Krotak is to be as clever. Just challenge her and use your Romulan cleverness to drop hints at what we may have discovered. Now we have little time, you must get going, And good luck Ambassador I hope you wont need it."
"I think I will," Tedak sighed, as he walked out of his quarters. Soon, he found himself standing before the senator's quarters, and wondered just how he would go about this. The easiest would be revenge, for those feelings of hatred towards the woman were quite real. He didn't bother making his presence known, instead he used an override not even Saarok knew he had. Seemingly, someone forgot to revoke his old Tal Shiar codes, and even this code, which he had gained from the mind meld with Saarok, wasn't widely known. "We meet again senator," Tedak said coolly, as he approached her, "you have something that belongs to me, and I want it back."

Krotak smiled cruelly and waved for her guard to step back. He did so but his hand remained rested on his disruptor. "Why Ambassador so nice to see you. Come to wish me farewell?" She turned and took a seat. "You know why I ve come?" Krotak nodded and then activated a device on her arm, "This will scramble any listening devices. Now Tedak what is it you refer to? Your child has been found has he not. Safe and well as I promised." Tedak scowled, "Yes and incriminating me. I meant my honour blade." Krotaks eyes narrowed, "Firstly you have no honour, no romulan honour anyways so you have no need for such a blade. It will remain an heirloom for my family, and secondly... more importantly why is it that you are here. I assume you managed to persuade the feeble starfleeters of your innocence or are you just on parole?"
Tag Tedak.
