Okay then peeps now that the last mission is rounding off I thought I d set up the premise for the next one for peeps to start thinking about.
The mission will be called: Ancestral Trail
Key Plot: Ambassador Tedak is forced to play host to Senator Krotak (Romulan) and her aides arrive on the station to meet with Jak'dor and the Debruni. They state that they have come to discuss unification between the Romulans and the Debrune, but is there an ulterior motive?
Sub-plots
Me and Mercy - Having found out I had more hosts Mercy needs to find away to help me recover my memorys
Tomlinson - Provide security for the visit and perhaps do some *cough personal character development.
Drew - Will be official liason for the Romulans whilst aboard - perhaps you are starting to notice *cough Tomlinsons personal activities
Jatira - You will be responsible for Introducing Jak'Dor and the Senator and ensuring things move smoothly.
Saarok - I know you have exams so just slot in where you can - I m saving your character piece for the next mission.
I dont think I ve missed anyone sorry if I have, I also apologise for the bare bones mission briefings, use your creative powers to add zest LOL
You can begin preliminary posting when you like, formal start will be Monday.
OOC: Okay people we have severalplot threads operating here and I thin we need to tie things together a little, if only for my own sanity LOL, this could end up being a two parter. So to summarise: Krotak trying to get/steal debrune technology, poss ally with bad debrune Paul Castellan and Mayor in some kind of nefarious scheme. The return of Vreenak Magellan finding out he has previous hosts. This formal dinner/buffet should help start tie things together and could prove as nexus for the next stage

Off: Some NPC character development of our dear major, Drolem Simeth.
=/\=Starbase Assailant this is the USS Palermo requesting permission to dock=/\=
=/\=This is Starbase Assailant, your fighter crew can dock at **** and you can dock at *****=/\= (sorry for the stars couldn't remember the correct deck/level numbers)
After receiving permission to dock on SB Assailant the captain of the USS Palermo sent a message to the fighter crew, which was provided as protection for the ambassadorial transfer vessel, to dock at the location indicated by the Starbase. Meanwhile it's CO informed their ambassador that they are about to dock after which he ordered the CNO to transfer navigational command to the Starbase.
--After successfully docking with the Starbase--
Ambassador and his associates disembarked from the USS Palermo and after preventing the security staff to examine their luggage, due to their diplomatic immunity, they proceeded to pay a visit to the highest ranking civilian of the station, Drolem Simeth, the ambassador insisted that he wanted to visit Mr. Simeth prior to settling in his quarters and seeing that he was determined the station staff directed the ambassador towards his office and then went to work on transferring the ambassadors suitcases to his quarters.
Ambassador and his group slowly made way towards the private office of Mr. Simeth as his official one was closed at this time. His private office was located in one of the less crowded part of the base. As the group arrived to the level on which the office was located, the Ambassador ordered two of his men to stay at the beginning of the corridor that was leading towards the office of Mr. Simeth and divert anyone who might want to stumble down that way.
After that was done, the group proceeded down the corridor. After a few moments they arrived to a door that was guarded by two Naussicans.
"How unusual for a simple mayor of a Starbase, don't you think", the Ambassador said to 2 of his klingon accomplices
"Bwah, the Naussican petaQ's are no match for us", one of the two klingons said
"Hold"; the Naussicans yelled at the ambassadors group
"What's your business here?", one of them asked
"Gentlemen if you could", the ambassador said, and a few moments later the door of Simeths private office, swung open and his two Naussican guards flew through the door, after them the two klingons went in
"What, what is the meaning of this", Simeth yelled jumping from his seat
A moment later a man walked in through the door, he held his hands behind his back and let his shoulder length hair cower his face while he was looking at the floor. He was walking very slowly, and even more slowly he raised his head and the hair moved from his face as he raised his head to face Drolem Simeth.
"Paul Castellan???!", Simeth said shocked before one of the Klingons jumped at him and twisted his arm behind his back
"You will refer to him as Mr. Castellan and refer to him with respect at all times, you petaQ", the Klingon yelled as Simeth yelled out in pain.
"Shut the door, and put up the sound absorbing field", the Ambassador said
As one of the two men that walked in behind him pressed a few keys to close the door, and put a small device on it and activated it.
"I'm sorry, I’m sorry sir", Simeth was yelling in pain
"There you hear the man, he is sorry, loosen your grip a bit", the ambassador said, and the klingon complied
"You seem surprised to see me Drolem", Paul said as he was slowly walking around Simeths office, and without waiting for a reply he resumed
"The income has decreased by half recently, and that is something that I do not tolerate, and aside of that, you HAD THE MEMORRY OF AMBASSADOR SAAROK WIPED OUT", he yelled
"AND YOU KNOW FULL WELL THAT I SAID DO NOT MESS WITH HIM OR YOU WILL DISAPPEAR", Paul yelled
Then resumed with a normal voice:
"Due the events I mentioned above, I am increasing my percentage to 80% of your income.", Paul said
"But you can't, the deal was 20 percent not 80, and I was never late with a payment"
Paul motioned for the klingon to twist Simeths arm a bit more.
"I can do whatever I want, I did not become the president of the board by compromises, nor by being soft to those who make mistakes. Be happy that I am letting you live.", Paul said
"Your books will be examined, all income will be counted, all of your files scanned, and should we find that you have tried to, steal, you will disappear.", Mr. Castellan said
"Break his arm", he said to the klingon
And a moment later Drolem was on the floor screaming in pain over his broken arm
"That is for damaging ambassador Saarok, and bringing the rage of S31 upon us should he ever regain his memory. But do know if he remembers what happened, you are done for. The syndicate will neutralize this branch fully, should that occur, and you will be delivered on a silver platter, not to mention that your head will be a fine decoration for our Hirogen associates quarters", Paul said with a laugh
"Oh, and organize a meeting of the department heads, tomorrow at 00:00 in the holodeck 5, the access code is the same as always.", Paul said
"Oh and tell your secretary, to pay me a visit later, I have a job for her", he smiled as his associates removed the sound absorbing field from the door and opened it for him to go out, followed by the 2 klingons and the two of his other associates and his female accomplice, who stayed on the side and remained unnoticeable while he was dealing with Simeth.

As Paul and his escort were moving through the base his female accomplice, who was actually his lover, approached him and they kissed.
"You should have made him suffer more, my dear"; she said to him
"I really should be concerned for your mental health, Leena", he said, "You enjoy other peoples sufferings too much, while for me it is nothing more than business", he resumed
"Oh but you know i can feel love and kindness too", she winked at him
"K'Tor", he called to one of the klingons
"Mr. Castellan"; he responded
"You will represent me at the meeting, I do not wish to reveal my identity to the lowlifes of Simeths branch, i will be observing the meeting over a video link", Paul replied to him
"Yes sir"; the Klingon said as he returned to Pauls side
Slowly the group arrived to the ambassadorial quarters which were assigned to Ambassador Paul Castellan, a special federation delegate. When they arrived to his new quarters he dismissed his company, and the klingon, K'Tor assigned some guards to guard his door while he and the rest of the company that paid a visit to Simeth resumed down the corridor in the direction of their own quarters.
As Paul and Leena entered his quarters, he noticed that his equipment and suitcases were all already delivered. And arrange near the wall. He wondered what the security thought of him having 10 crates of "personal belongings", it would strike his as peculiar if he was a part of the security teams, but it would seem that whoever was in charge did not find that odd. As he told Leena to wait for him in the bedroom, he went over to the crates and open one to check it's contents.
All of the disruptor riffles, seemed to be fine, and they looked ready to be delivered to the buyer. He had arrange to meet the buyer here on SB Assailant as he had some business to take care of with Simeth, and the buyer thought it to be a smart move to change the rendezvous place. He would of course need to reserve a cargo bay, in which the transaction would occur, as his associate was not someone who’d be unnoticed walking around with 10 crates which appeared to be filled with weapons.
Paul was glad that the Romulans from who the riffles were "borrowed" were no longer amongst those who could say anything if SFI ever tracked them. And that Simeth, the idiot, by the time Paul was done with him, there would be nothing left of him but a pile of broken bones. To wipe the memory of ambassador Saarok, the idiot, when S31 finds out what he did, he will wish that he was dead, but he could not allow them to question him should it come to it, he will have Simeth silenced for good.
After he was done checking the crates he closed them and activated the cloaking fields, which prevented standard scanners from scanning inside of the crates, and were standard equipment of federation diplomatic cargo crates. He went back to the bedroom, where he found Leena already waiting for him in bed.
"Ready for some fun", she said in a strangely attractive voice...*imagine*

A new day dawned on Assailant. All over the station the lights went from dim to full light. People woke, dressed and began their business. Magellan sat quietly in his quarters, his bed was unslept in and he still wore the day befores uniform. Dinas lay curled in his lap snoring softly. He sat there eyes half closed trying to remember trying to rationalsie what Lenara had told him with what he new to be the truth. But why would she lie to him? He sighed deeply. It was impossible how could he have had more hosts. It wasnt unknown, Dax he recalled had a hidden host - a murderer. A murderer - now that thought frightened him. He wished now he had question Lenara more. But he had been so bowled over by it all that he had just walked off - wanted to be on his own. He would talk to her later, and Dr Mercy, perhaps, if and that was a big if, perhaps it was a medical reason why he couldnt remember.

Tedak was already up. He had been for a brisk walk and just comm'd T Val on the Jefferson. She seemed well. D'beren was playing in the next room with the nanny, all was well in the world. =^=Teeeedak=^= Tedak looked up reflexivly, it was odd to think of Lily as part of the compute system , but for her part she seemed very... happy. She was certainly very effieicnt, In fact Tedak felt computer resources had improved since her blending. "Yes Lily" =^= There is a priority Shien'va message for you=^= "Thankyou Lily. Patch it through in here maximum encryption" =^=Understood. Working...=^= Tedaks screen lit up with the eagle of the Empire. It flickered and was replaced by the image of a stern Romulan Woman. "Jolan Tru. You honour me Senator" Tedak greeted The Senator scowled. "Jolan tru" she hissed begrudgingly "It pains me to speak with you, but I must inform you of the latest Senate decisions" Tedak nodded knowingful well that many of the Senate disapproved of his progressionist views. "The Senate" Senator Tovak continued coldly, "HAs decided it is time we welcome or brother Debrune back in to the fold" Tedak nodded, "Perhaps Father would be a more correct analogy or uncle." "Our BROTHER Debrune do not appear to present a risk and we have stood down our fleet. We have despateched Senator Krotak to begin talks. You will help her in any way you can"

"She will arrive tommorrow. Be prepared. Act well in this and you may redeem yourself"

"Our BROTHER Debrune do not appear to present a risk and we have stood down our fleet. We have despateched Senator Krotak to begin talks. You will help her in any way you can"
Tedak was taken aback for a few seconds by the woman's bluntness. "But of course madame senator," he said sweetly, "as long as she does not compromise the security on this station."
"She will arrive tommorrow. Be prepared. Act well in this and you may redeem yourself"
Now, Tedak couldn't help but laugh. "Redeem myself? You've got to be joking madame senator. The senate will never approve my redemption. I have married a Vulcan woman, and adopted a Debrune child. I doubt you are being serious."
He suddenly stopped laughing and he gazed at the woman coldly. "The senator will be received will all courtesy of her status and rank, I will make sure of that, but do not expect me to socialize with her. I will meet with Admiral Paul Drew in a few minutes to see to proper preparations being taken care of. Good day madame senator."
He signed off abruptly and growled. "That..that," he began, enraged.
"What is it Teedak?" Lily asked.
Tedak smiled at how she still pronounced his name. "Oh yes. A senator is coming to visit, no doubt to compromise Debrune relations. As of the moment she gets aboard, keep an eye on her would you dear?" he answered, "she will have the priveleges due her rank but she'll not be allowed access to parts of the station where prospect enemies are not allowed to go."
"Yes Teeedak," Lily replied, "shall I let Mr Drew know that you're on your way to him?"
"Yes please," Tedak replied as he put on a dark red robe. "Tell him I'll meet with him in five minutes."
Five minutes later, Tedak stood waiting before the door of the Drew family, his brown firelizard Nut perched quietly on his shoulder.

~ Finally! ~ Stuart thought. He was enjoying the fact that he was sitting at his desk on what seemed to be a normal day. The last global crisis had kept him busy almost from the start when he first set foot on this station. He hadn't even been able to implement any of his new protocols, like station personnel needing physicals when they have been off station.
Stuart was going through the medical records when his LCARS terminal flashed briefly and then...spoke. --/\-- Mercy. Stuart Mercy. Is this correct? --/\--
Stuart looked at it in confusion. He didn't see any indication of any incoming transmissions. "Computer! What is the origination of the last transmission?"
The unseemingly familliar voice replied from the terminal. --/\-- The last transmission originated from me. It is me, Lily. You are Stuart Mercy, correct? The doctor who was trying to help me? --/\--
Stuart could not believe his ears. He hadn't been debriefed on what the status was on Lily, and now she was talking to him through his terminal. "Uh, yes. I am Doctor Stuart Mercy. Yes, I was trying to help you, but I don't think you thought so at the time." Stuart remembered how she had flung him across the room with an electrical charge. "Where are you? How is it that you are talking to me I mean?"
Lily spent the next ten minutes explaining to Stuart what had happened and how she had been integrated into the stations computer systems, and how she was now able to 'talk' to the individuals if and when she so chose. Then she proceeded on why she was asking for him. She wanted to thank him and apollogize for any harm that had come to him. As the station personnel had helped her to stay 'alive', she was glad to now be at their service to help in any way possible, via the computer.
It was quite a story for Stuart to swallow. He was going to have to verify this with one of the Admirals. this brought Stuart back to the matter at hand. the medical files he had on his desk. "Lily! Would you please send a message to Admiral Lin that he is due a check up. If he tries to delay, please remind him that he is the station CO and that he would be setting a precedence for others."
Lily formatted, processed, and then sent the message as Stuart had asked. Of course this mere task only took microseconds for her to complete. --/\-- Message has been sent. I thank you again for your help and I am here to help when you so require. --/\--
"Yes, Lily. One more thing. Display general medical files on joined Trills. I have a little research to do." Lily complied and Stuart started his research which he needed to do before he saw Adm Lin.

As was usual for this time in the morning the Drew family quarters were a mess. Young Max was running around the place with the family pet dog Jerry chasing after him, knocking everything over. Tyler had just returned from spending the night at a friends quarters, and had dumped his bag on the sofa, and Tammy had music playing as loud as possible from her bedroom.
There worn out father was standing in front of a holo mirror trying to adjust his uniform and attach his rank insignia, while also dodging Max and Jerry.
Suddenly the place was quiet, until Drew heard his daughter Tammy shouting out, someone had turned off her music, when Drew heard the next voice he smiled.
“My apologises for deactivating your music program,” Lily’s gentle voice said over the rooms speakers, “but I have a message for Admiral Drew.”
“Go ahead Lily,” Drew said, zipping up his jacket.
“Teedak asked me to inform you he is coming to meet you.”
“Thank you Lily,” Drew replied, pinning his comm badge onto his tunic just as the door chime sounded.
“Tammy, make sure Max and Tyler get to school,” Drew called out, as he went to greet Tedak.
“Ambassador, what a surprise,” Drew said, greeting Tedak at the door.
“Surprise?” Tedak repeated confused, “did Lily not inform you of my impending arrival?”
“She did yes,” Drew chuckled, “it’s a human express.”
“If you say so,” Tedak said, “I have some important matters to discuss with you Admiral.”
“Here isn’t the best place,” Drew said, stepping out of his quarters, “walk with me to my office, we can discuss it on route.”
By the time Tedak and Drew arrived at the second level office, Tedak had told Drew all about Senator Tovak planned trip, including his belief it would only cause trouble.
“I’ll have Simon attach a small guard to her,” Drew said, picking up a padd to take notes, “VIP quarters alpha six are free, she can use those.”
“She will likely wish to visit the planet,” Tedak said, “perhaps I should inform Ambassador Laika.”
“That’s a good idea,” Drew said, “she will be able to make arrangements for a meeting with the leadership.”
“Very well, I shall go visit her,” Tedak said, turning to leave the office, “good day Admiral.”
When Tedak was gone, Drew opened up a comm link to Magellan, ever since the incident with Lily his old friend had been under a lot of pressure.
“Good morning,” Drew said, as Magellan’s face appeared on his computer screen, “how are you?”

OOC: As theres gonna be a bit of trilly stuff going on with me i refer peeps to this page for trilly info: www.geocities.com/smit3897/TRILL.htmPS my Bio will be ammended I will now have been born in 2356 lol IC: Magellan recieved Lilys comm from Dr Mercy as he was walking up to Ops. He had Lily fill him in on the days activities. Despite his earlier reservations having Lily as part of the computer was definetly an asset. Lily listed his meetings and the ships due to arrive. One ship piqued his interest, the IRS Khazata one of the (new) Romulan Warbirds. =^= Do not forget Dr Mercy=^= "No Lily I won't in fact watch me turn around and head to sickbay." Magellan did as he said and returned to the turbolift. 5 minutes later he appeared at sickbay. A nurse greeted him and bade him to take a seat. He waited patiently his mind turning again to his symbiont problem. He probed Lin for the earliest memorys of Toya. Each one began with her implantation. Toya had only been Lins host a short while. She was late in the programme and was joined with Lin in her mid 20's and already a brilliant ecologist, joining for her had been a fulfillment of all her personal and scientific goals. Unfortunatly she had only been joined for 2 years, on one expedition she had been attacked by Trill pirates who had stolen Lin and left her to die. Lin had been recovered and passed on to Magellan. At the time (2377) there was a vast market for symbionts and the black market commanded a high price. He like Toya had had severe integration issues but had put it down to the particularly nasty death Toya had suffered. He was stirred from his thoughts by Dr Mercy, "Admiral good to see you, if you d like to come through and we'll begin"

After being woken up by Lily that morning, Saarok had spent the next couple of hours reading on his mail, which was delayed due to the incident with the nebula. Most of it was not too important, except for an e-mail informing him that he was assigned as deputy director of the diplomatic dept. in Section 47 space. This did not bring new privileges to him but it brought more paperwork.
After he was done reading his messages. He started to write hi report on the recent diplomatic incidents between Tedak and admiral Magellan. Even tough the matter was resolved it needed to be documented for the Federation Councils review.
--Several hours later--
Finishing all of his tasks Saarok put aside his pads and began to prepare himself for deep meditation. He still could not remember anything from his past, and he hoped that by meditating some parts of it would come back.
--Meanwhile in the quarters of ambassador Paul Castellan--
Paul woke up and realized it was already morning. He had slept more that he desired, but what was done was done. He looked over and saw that his lover was still asleep. Good he thought she deserves some rest. He quickly got up and got dressed. He had so much to tend to today, not to mention he had to arrange the meeting place for the meeting later that night.
After he got something to eat and read though his messages, he went out of his quarters where his was met by his two trusted guards and 2 of his "aides".
"We will be tending to some ambassadorial duties today."; he told them
=/\=Computer where is the base CO=/\=
=/\=Admiral Magellan is not available at the moment=/\=, came a reply from Lily
Odd computer they got here, Paul thought.
=/\=However Admiral Drew is available, he should be arriving to his office shortly, follow the arrows on the terminals to get there=/\=, came another reply
Most definitely an odd computer, Paul thought. As he and his group headed towards the office of the admiral. After a shorter walk, as the quarters for VIP personnel were near the offices of the brass, as some called them, the group arrived to the office of Admiral Drew. Paul chimed the door, but no reply came. Just then a human male accompanied by a Romulan and a flying creature arrived to the office door.
"Admiral Drew, I presume", Paul said to the human male wearing the admirals pips

By the time the quarters for the Romulan senator were arranged, Lily informed Tedak that the shuttle carrying the senator was due to arrive in five minutes. The Romulan diplomat frowned, he wasn't exactly looking forward to the meeting and he very much doubted the senator was too.
Soon, T'Val would also arrive for a few days of shoreleave, and that was the one thing Tedak was really looking forward to. He hadn't seen his son for weeks now, and it was about time the child paid a visit to the Debrune. JakDor had been nagging him about the Divine child, and Tedak had assured him that as soon as the child was available he'd pay them a visit.
Quietly, Tedak walked over to the docking bays, his two firelizards engaging in antics above his head. He wasn't inclined to send his faithful pets away just because of a highly placed visitor; she'd just have to accept it.
Minutes later, the shuttly carrying Senator Krotak landed on the pad, and Tedak walked forward, flanked by his nearly ever present security guards - for his protection, Magellan had claimed months ago - giving the woman the traditional Romulan salute. "Jolan tru," he said, "welcome aboard Starbase Assaillant Senator Krotak. I am Ambassador Tedak, if you have need of anything, feel free to ask."
The senator glared at him coldly, and didn't return the greeting, which in itself was rather rude. "Show me to my quarters, I am fatigued," she said.
Tedak shrugged and guided her to a turbolift. "VIP deck please," he said as soon as they stepped in. He got a chuckle as response and the lift started moving. "Your quarters ma'am," Tedak said, entering the quarters with her, "I shall take my leave of you now. If you need me, ask Lily to contact me." He ignored the quizzical look the senator gave him. "Lily is our sentient computer system," Tedak explained, "good day senator." With that, he left her alone.

Stuart had the Admiral take a seat on the edge of one of the biobeds. "If you don't mind Admiral Lin, I need you to lay down for a full exam. I can examine you more in-depth with the biobed scanner than I can with a tricorder."
"Alright Mercy. So much for a regular checkup." Adm Lin rotated his legs and laid back. Stuart activated a button and the clamshell bioscanner lifted itself from both sides of the bed, rising over the Admirals chest.
Stuart activated the scans and continued to monitor the readout displays on the clamshells. "Actually sir, I have to be thorough when anyone returns from off station. We don't need some alien organism coming aboard causing a massive health crisis."
"I understand Doctor. I just hope this won't take too long as I have much to do." Admiral Lin was going through his mind of why he could only recall being of two hosts for his symbiont Lin, and not five.
"Well Admiral, the less I do the more likely you will end up back here with some illness, and the less you'll get done with your regular duties. In essence, the more I do now the more you get to do."
"Yes, I understand." The Admiral cut in. He was thinking how the doctor would have made a good diplomat. He was glad to have him.
"Mh. Your isoboramine levels are low by ten percent. Have you been experiencing fatigue and/or lack of concentration?" Stuart gave Magellan a questionable look.
"Yes, some. Nothing that has been hampering my duties." He was wondering if he should mention his dilemma.
Stuart continued to check over the scans. "I can give you something to return those levels back to normal, but I'll need to see you back here in four days to see if those levels have stabilized themselves. Let me look at one more thing." Stuart activated a couple of buttons and the scanner changed modes. It was now scanning over the Admiral's central nervous system. Stuart could see and verify that the cerebral nuclei of Lin and Magellan were properly linked together. He could not ascertain any problems here that might have caused his levels to be low.
Stuart deactivated the clamshell scanner and allowed the Magellan to get up. He went and prepared a hypospray with the required amount of benzocytazine, 0.05cc's to be exact, and proceeded to administer it. "There you go Admiral. Like I said, I need you back here in 96 hours for a follow up. Of course if your symptoms persist come back right away. I'm done with your physical. You're free to go about your duties, sir."
The Admiral sat there for a brief moment, debating.

"Actually Doctor" Magellan paused at the door. "Yes Sir?" Magellan hovered a moment on one foot as if deciding whether to keep moving. "I might be able to help" Mercy continued, Magellan nodded and walked back into the room allowing the door to close behind him. "So how can I help" "Its all a bit of a puzzle really. I am Lins second Host, the first being Toya, at least thats what I thought. I found out recently that I apparently have more. Well Lin had more." "I see, don't hosts usually get all the memories of previous hosts." "Yes and thats it. It can't be true . I only have Toyas...although" "Although..." Mercy prompted with a wave of his hand, "Well for the last few months I ve had stray thoughts, images of places I ve never been. Spoken words of languages I ve never learnt little things like that." "How long has this been happening?" "Pretty much ever since I assumed command of Assailant" "Well it could be stress related, it doesnt mean they are lost memories." "No. no your right. Its just." Magellan paused, "My relationship with Lin has never been good. We didnt integrate well. I got dissociated once and the blend isnt full. In fact we are almost separate in many ways. Look at my firelizard - Dinas. He linked with Lin and not me, that normally shouldnt happen. the host is dominant." "I m not familiar with Firelizard linking, but I wouldnt be concerned. Symbiosis of any kind is highly complex." "I suppose. Still its so odd, why cant I remember the other hosts if I have them. The Symbiosis Commission have never mentioned such a thing is possible" "Well dont be so sure I do know of other cases" "The Dax thing but surely that was a one off." "Possibly. Tell you what for now I suggest I have a think and look at your biometrics. Read through case histories, who told you anyway?" "My old instructor Lenara Kahn" "Well i ll talk to her too and get back to you." "Thankyou doctor"

Drew looked spuriously at the five men before him, he didn’t recognise any of them, but one of them was wearing the robes of an Ambassador.
“Yes,” Drew answered to his question, “I am Admiral Drew, and you are?”
“Ambassador Paul Castellan”
“Of course,” Drew said offering his hand, “I remember reading about your arrival in the last subspace updates.”
“Always nice to know Starfleet keeps its officers updated,” Castellan answered, “I was hoping to meet with your Admiral Lin, but your wacky computer told me he was unavailable.”
“You will have to excuse our computer systems,” Drew said with a smile, “it’s recently been merged with a sentient being.”
“How interesting,” Castellan said, “I look forward to hearing the story.”
Drew simply nodded, he couldn’t put his finger on it, but there was something odd about the man, the four escorts alone were unusual.
“Is there anything I can help you with?” Drew asked.
“Actually there is, your computer suggested you as the best person to talk to after Admiral Lin.”
“In that case, why don’t you join me in my office?” Drew said, allowing the door to open.
When they were all seated, and the two Paul’s had there refreshments, Drew looked across at the Ambassador.
“So how can I help?”

"Well, one of the reasons I wanted to meet with the admiral is because I am required to report to the station commander when I arrive. This is so that if he has any assignments for me, he can delegate them to me, and the second one is to inform him or you of what my duties here are.", Paul resumed
"Second reason is I would need to book holodeck 5 for tonight from 2300 hours till 0700 hours. I have some simulations to run for my assignment."; he continued
"This brings us to my assignment. I have orders, which you will find on this pad to unnoticeably oversee the visiting romulan senator and ambassador Tedak, and to, if needed, prevent a diplomatic incident or prevent leaking of classified info to the senator. And seeing that ambassador Saarok has suffered his memory loss they thought that it might have clouded his judgment, seeing as he and Tedak are friends. So that’s why I was sent here.", Paul finished
While waiting for a reply he thought that it was a nice cover story he came up with, and made a note to add an extra reward to his "friend" in the diplomatic corps of the federation.
--Meanwhile in sickbay--
Drolem Simeth had arrived to sickbay a few moments ago and was waiting for Dr. Mercy to arrive. While waiting he was going over his fake story of how he broke his arm. He could not say what had really happened so he came up with a fake story.
When Stuart arrived, Simeth got up from the bio bed and greeted the doctor.
"Dr. Mercy?", he asked the man as he never saw him before
After the initial getting to know each other speech, Simeth told Dr. Mercy what happened.
"I was playing racquetball in the holodeck and I seem to have injured my arm when I fell down", Simeth said
"I am afraid that I might have broken it, as my bounds are a bit weaker then what is normal", he said hopping that Stuart would take his word for it and not cause problems for him

“I see,” Drew said reviewing the Ambassador’s padd, everything seemed to be in perfect order, but he still had a nudging feeling something was a bit odd about this man, he just couldn’t put his finger on it.
“My assignment details were to Assailant last week,” Ambassador Castellan said, clearly anxious to be getting on with his duties.
“Indeed they were,” Drew said, calling up the files on his computer, “you may use the staff holodecks this evening for your assignment Ambassador.”
“Thank you Admiral,” Castellan, bowing slightly, and then leaving the office.
When the Ambassador was gone, Drew pulled up the DCS’s duty rosters, and did a quick read through Castellan’s personal file, nothing seemed to be out of the ordinary.
“I must just be getting old,” Drew thought to himself, turning his attention back to the arrangements for the Romulan senator’s arrival.

Stuart was concerned for Admiral Lin. He would have to check with Dr. Kahn, Adm Lin's friend, but he was sure that there would possibly be only one solution...Adm Lin would have to eventually return to Trillius Prime.
While Stuart was going over Adm Drew's medical records, for he was next for his physical, nurse Tsomba came in letting him know that he had a patient waiting.
"I was playing racquetball in the holodeck and I seem to have injured my arm when I fell down", Simeth said
"I am afraid that I might have broken it, as my bounds are a bit weaker then what is normal", he said hopping that Stuart would take his word for it and not cause problems for him.
"I see. Well let me take a look then." Stuart pulled out his tricorder and performed the required scans of Mr. Simeth. Stuart found his telling of his injury a bit odd as he seemed a bit more concerned over the believability of it than the actual pain it should be causing him.
Stuart had learned a long time ago on how to gauge a persons comments and responses of an iquirery to their injuries. Their body language and facial expressions a lot of times told more than their words themselves. He had seen to many domestic abuse cases as an EMT, back in San Francisco.
The tricorder had confirmed his suspicions. The bone was broken alright, but there was just too much bruising and severe trauma associated for it to be a sports injury. Normally it would just consist of a clean break. Stuart knew this as he himself had played a lot of soccer.
"Yup, you're right. A clean break." Stuart lied. "So you play racquetteball. I like soccer myself. I was thinking about getting a team together here on the station. Maybe we could play the various members of the fleet ships, or the storeowners or something. What do you think?"
Stuart went and got an osteo regenerator to help promote the stimulation of the bone growth. This would help it heal within days istead of the normal weeks it would take for the body to do it on its own accord.
Drolem answered in reference to a soccer team. "A soccer team, hm. That does sound like a great avenue to bring the people together here on this station. I, myself, would think that I will stick with racquetteball. Then again, I guess if I keep breaking my bones like this I might have to give that up too."
Stuart was done with the treatment. He placed the arm in an osteo tarctor frame, to help keep it immobile. "Now keep this on for the next 24 hours to prevent causing any more harm while it's healing. It'll be another 24 hours for your arm to be completely back the way it was."
Drolem got up happy that the doctor didn't inquire any more about his injury. "Thanks doctor. I'll be on my way then. Good luck with that soccer team." Drolem strode out of the infirmary happy as could be.
Stuart returned to his office with his worries. He knew he didn't have access to any of the security logs, to verify if Drolem Simeth was really playing raquetteball when he said he was. "Lily! Who's our chief of security?" _/\_ Chief of Security is LtCmdr Simon Tomlinson _/\_
Stuart remembered the name, slightly. Then he had it, he was on Qualinost with the rest of the team. Stuart knew right away he would be the right person to handle this. "Thank you Lily. Would you please send him a message that I need to see him at his earliest possible convenience. It may be a security matter of the utmost of importance." _/\_ Message sent, Dr. Mercy. _/\_
"Thank you, lily. One more thing. Send Adm Drew a message of his requirement to be here for his physical. Remind him that he was off-station before the Qualinost radiation crisis. Thank you."
_/\_ Message sent. _/\_ Stuart was satisfied. He was happy with his job here. There always seemed something to be going on and he knew this would be an exciting career.

Sometimes it amazed Drew how much paperwork he had to deal with, since arriving in his office less than an hour ago, the once tidy desk was now filled with various padds each containing some exciting task that had to be completed next. And then there was the work that needed to be done out of the office, he needed to go down and welcome the Senator to SBA, as well as completing a shift up at Ops.
“Admiral Drew,” came Lily’s voice over the comm systems, “Dr. Mercy wishes to remind you that you are required to report for a physical.”
“Damn Doctors,” Drew cursed as he put down his padd, as far as he was concerned, Starfleet Medical Officers enjoyed forcing people into physicals far too much.
“Tell the Doctor I am on my way,” Drew told Lily, packing a few padds up into his silver brief case.
As he walked down to sickbay, Drew passed a lot of officers rushing the other one, clearly late for their duty shifts. With the recent commotion on SBA, everyone was still a little behind in their daily tasks. He was surprised to see that sickbay was almost deserted, he had gotten so used to seeing it busy recently.
“Dr. Mercy,” he called as he walked into the centre of the medical ward, “you wanted to see me?”

After exiting from the office of Admiral Drew, Paul was met by his aides right away. They have been waiting for him to come out right outside of the office.
"Everything in order, sir?", K'Tor asked
"Yes, everything is going as planned, the orders from DCS were perfect and the admiral did not suspect anything. I have booked the Holodeck for tonight.", Paul said
"I am going to my quarters now to send out few messages, and then I’ll go and sort out the most isolated cargo bay for the exchange. And at 2300 hours we will go and tweak the holodeck program for the meeting.", he finished as the group was slowly making way towards the VIP quarters
When they arrived to the door, Paul gave out a few short instructions to K'Tor before he went inside. After he went inside his quarters he saw that Leena had woken up and was already having breakfast.
"Enjoying your meal", he asked her as he made way to the part of the quarters that was used as an office for the visiting staff.
"Yes, as always", she smiled, "You have work to do?", she asked
"Yes a few message to send out nothing extra, then I have a meeting to arrange, you can if you so desire go and explore the station or stay in or go with me whatever you desire the most.", he said
As he sat down behind the computer, he turned it on and entered his access codes. After that he began to type a short message, which to someone who did not know what he was talking about wouldn't mean anything, and would not cause suspicion should someone, who isn't supposed to, read it. The message read, *I still love you as much as before. Signed C.D.C.*. He entered some coordinates and then sent the message.
=/\=Message sent=/\= the computer replied to him
After that was done, he sent out a few more messages confirming a few different meetings, each one encoded and not suspicious.
--Meanwhile in the office of Drolem Simeth--
Drolem Simeth had just arrived back from the doctor, in a not so bright mood. He had a feeling that the new doctor did not buy his story completely but then he was 90% sure that the doctor want divert too much attention to the matter as he had more important things to worry about.
After he arrived to his office he told his secretary a Betazoid female called Victoria, that ambassador Castellan has some papers for him and that she needs to go and pick them up some time during the day. After that he dismissed her and sat behind his computer. If he thinks he will get away with this he is wrong, Simeth thought. I will get back to him someway, he will pay for this.
=/\=Computer, authorization code alpha 567 Simeth, access protocol homecoming=/\=
=/\=Affirmative, code accepted, protocol activated, message archives will be purged after the communications protocol is closed, please input your transmission=/\=
=/\=Tonight at 0000 hours in holodeck 5. The head is here. Transmit=/\=
=/\=Message sent to all who are connected to protocol homecoming, closing protocol, purging message received and sent archives=/\=
=/\=Processing......=/\=
While he was waiting for the protocol he was forming up a plan in his head, he had to get rid of Castellan before it was too late, he knew it was dangerous but then if he didn’t do anything he would be done for and there’s a risk of the same things happening if he does something so either way he’s got nothing to lose by trying.
=/\=Purging complete, protocol closed=/\=
After the was done he remained seated in his chair for a while longer thinking about what he was going to do next.

"Ah yes, Admiral Drew. I appreciate your promptness. I know how rank can sometimes cloud an officers judgement on the importance of their own health. Yet, I assure you, that it also means the health and well-being of those around them is affected as well. So again I want to thank you for coming by so quickly."
"I understand your concerns doctor, but I do have a lot of work to do." Adm Drew was trying to get this done as quickly as possible when Stuart replied. "As do I, Admiral."
Stuart had the Admirals medical file infront of him and started to ask a few questions. "I see that you have quite a medical history here. Prisoner in a Cardassian POW camp, where you were tortured. Imprisoned another time by a counterpart of yourself. I'm sure there were psychological effects knowing that this counterpart was taking your place with your family."
Adm Drew interupted. "Doctor Mercy. I have had extensive counselling sessions and continue to do so as needed, and I am to this day still dealing with the trauma I have experienced. I thought I was here for a physical and not another psyche eval!"
"Yes Admiral. I was merely getting to my questioning of whether you are experienceing any physical trauma, such as headaches or possibly not feeling parts of your extremeties due to some deteriating nerve damage, etc." Stuart responded with the same sterness as the Admiral had shown.
Admiral Drew lightened up a little after understanding the questioning. "Well, I guess I could use something that could help me sleep a little better after a very stressful day. I tend to not get much sleep as my mind tends to wander through the ordeals I have encountered. As far as extremeties going numb, I can't say. I have had some tingeling, but I guesss your scans would be able to tell more."
"Alright then. Hop onto that biobed and let me do my thing...sir." Stuart added the belated 'sir' kindly, to let the Admiral know that he was showing his respect of the officer he had before him. Stuart let the biobed perform its tests and scans. "You know, since you have literally been gone for a long while, this will establish a nice new medical baseline of you. Providing that we find nothing." The scans were finally complete after ten long minutes, and Stuart and the Admiral had nothing to worry about. "You seem to be in excellent health. I'm going to guess that some of that tingeling you are experienceing is stress related. Here. I am giving you a vial of a mild sedative for sleep when needed. Take this hypospray along with it. It is already set for the correct dosage, so just fill and administer to self."
Adm Drew was glad to hear that he seemed to be in good health. "Thank you Doctor Mercy." He took the hypospary and medicine vial and was out the door as fast as he had come in.

Tomlinson yawned quietly as he rolled out of bed. Moving woodenly over to his computer, he tapped it, his throat feeling too dry to speak. As soon as he had tapped it, the computer started reading out loud.
“ - Received: 7 Messages. Message from Admiral Drew, message from Station Security, message from Ayiana, message from Dr Mercy, message from shopper’s guild, message from Lieutenant Llyanda, message from Tammy Drew, message from Drolem Simeth.”
The security chief frowned. There were a few expected messages in there, and a few that he certainly was not expecting. He instructed the computer to first read out the messages from Admiral Drew, Dr Mercy and Lt Llyanda, those being the ones that sounded the most important. As it turned out, Drew was simply requesting that he form a security guard team for the romulan ambassador, and Dr Mercy was alerting him to an injury that Simeth had sustained, an injury that he believed suspicious. Lt LLyanda on the other hand was informing him that they had received the two new fighters they had been waiting for. Tomlinson smiled, and then moved onto the message from Station Security, which, as he had expected was simply telling him that his security archives had been accessed. After checking it was an authorised access, he deleted the message, and moved onto the last three.
Ayiana, his girlfriend of a few years, had left him nothing more complex than a loving message home, telling him how she was doing on her botanical tour of Bajor. From there, unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse. Tammy was requesting an audience with him, something that Tomlinson knew wouldn’t be particularly good for his relationship with Ayiana. He sent a short and polite, but negative reply back to her, explaining that he was a busy man. He suspected she would try again, but he would deal with that when it came up.
The last message certainly eclipsed all the others in it’s crypticism.
“Watch. The dead can still be painful. Do not fall in.” Tomlinson frowned, and moved over to read the message himself, rather than trust the computer’s voice. Unfortunately, it did not become any clearer, and he was forced to let it go, although he made a note to talk to the Mayor about it later, something he already had planned to do, after the message from Dr Mercy.
After the security chief had showered, he was making his way towards ops when his comm. Badge chirped. With a sigh, he tapped it.
=/\= Tomlinson, go ahead. =/\=
=/\= Sir, we have a problem at airlock 3, and request your presence. =/\=
=/\= On my way. =/\=
A few minutes later, the security chief arrived at airlock 3. He soon located the guard who had contacted him.
“What seems to be the problem Ensign?”
“Ermm, he is sir.” The guard indicated a romulan standing a few metres away. Tomlinson looked over at him. At first, he had not noticed the Starfleet uniform the officer was wearing, but now it became extremely evident. Slowly, Simon approached him.
“Name, Rank and Number?” He asked tentatively.
The romulan looked put out, but replied anyway. “Vreenak, Captain, Alpha-3-6-4-8-Gamma-3.”
Tomlinson raised his eyebrows, but nevertheless looked in his archives. A few seconds later the PADD found the record. He tapped his commbadge.
=/\= Admiral Drew or Admiral Magellan to airlock 3. We have… someone you know here. =/\=

Tedak led Krotak to the Diplomatic level and showed her to her quarters. "These are my quarters" Krotak said her voice dripping with disdain as the doors opened, "I suppose they will do. Bral get my things" Her servant a diminutive romulan girl ran off immediatly on the errand. Krotak waltzed about the room checking the sofa and replicator. "Come in. Sit" she commanded, "Thankyou" Tedak replied taking a seat in an armchair. "You will thank me. In the end. You arent the Senates favourite person are you." it was a rhetorical question and Tedak remained silent. Krotak continued, "Many believe you have gone native. That you are one of the followers of Spocks burgeoning Reunification Party. I assure you I am not of your ilk. I voted for the war against the Federation as did our new Praetor. I noticed you abstained, a cowardly act. Especially when the evidence of Captain Siskos deception was so apparent." "Those things are past now" Tedak noted carefully, "Indeed they are. The war short as it was is over and relations with the federation are once more cordial." Krotak stopped her pacing and then sat. "Then you take a Vulcan wife. A vulcan. WNeverere our females not good enough or were you foolish enough to marry for love."
<Tag Tedak >
"Neverthless it weakens you. It brought you here. You ever hear of Nimbus III, the planet of peace" she spat the word peace as if it were poison. "This place is your Nimbus III. A place of seclusion, somewhere backward where the Senate could put you out to pasture. A place where you could play at politics with your Vulcan friend Saarok."
<Tag Tedak>
"Silent. I have yet to finish. The Senate thought you would waste away here to retirement but then the Debrune re-emerge. Our lost brethren. Suddenly you are on one of the most important Starbases in the quadrant. You still have your friends else you would have been replaced immediatly. This is your chance to increase your number of friends. Act well for me and your standing will increase, they may even forgive you your transgressions." "I see and what is it you want of me?" Tedak asked warily, "Only you assistance. I will be meeting Jak'dor in a day or two. To assess if we can begin diplomatic relations. The Debrune were an advanced race long before us, they have untold knowledge and technology. We know they are few in number, that they are split in to two factions. If Jak'dor is unwilling to deal we will not be able to force the issue given Starfleets presence in the sector. Therefore I want you to find the other faction. Find them so I can make them an offer they can't refuse. An offer that will make the Empire strong oncemore.

Magellan was in his office when he recieved Tomlinsons call. =^=Can't you tell me who or send them up=^= =^=I think it best you come here. Its somewhat unusual=^= =^= Very well. I ll be there shortly=^= Magellan rose from his chair and realised how far he had to walk to reach the airlock, he tapped his badge. =^=Chief Dawkins. Site to Site transport my office to airlock 3=^= =^=Understood sir. One moment=^= Magellan straightened and awaited transport, the familiar tug on his internal organs as he dematerialised. He reappeared just outside the airlock. Feeling somewhat more discombobulated than normal and more than a little queasy from the transport, he steeled himself and turned the corner. "Oh my... by the pools. This isnt possible, your...your dead." Vreenak tilted his head in a slight nod, "Not as dead as it was reported."
