T'Val was getting better by the minute, her loss of blood slowly being replaced. Stuart had just left her side as she had turned back into a deep slumber. Yade was keeping watch over her while nestled in her arm.
On his way back to his office, Stuart could see the fighting that was going on outside the portal that he was looking. Federation and Romulan ships were tearing at each other like fire breathing dragons. Thankfully, it was the Romulans that appeared to be at the losing end.
~D'Beren!~ Stuart broke into a run straight for Ops, forgetting about his safety. Running through the corridors he noted that security teams had subdued what was left of the intruders. He didn't stop running.
Finally reaching Ops, he looked around for the smallest person he could find...there he was, crying while talking into a comm unit. "...I was scared, father. It was all so scary. Where is mommy?" Stuart ran up to D'Beren at that moment and gave him a reassuring hug. "She's fine D'Beren. I'm so glad that you are okay." Tears were running down Stuart's cheeks.
=/\= D'Beren? Hello, D'Beren are you there? =/\=
Stuart could hear Ambassador Tedak over the comm unit. "It's me, Mercy. I have him, he's fine. T'Val is in the hospital, which is where I'm taking him now. Why don't you meet us there?"
=/\= Affirmative! I'll be there as quickly as I can. =/\=
Stuart didn't give a second look at anyone in Ops. Security forces were busy incarcerating the enemy, others were trying to get the station back to normal. Those that knew Mercy, knew that D'Beren was back in good hands...safe and sound.

After hearing that everyone was ready, Nika nodded, and three of Nokomis' marines took the lead. Nika took her phaser out and readied it. They approached the entrance to find two Romulans guarding it. They were quickly taken out-stunned, before they could raise a shout or communicate to their companions. The group wanted to keep the advantage of surprise the little bit longer until they could enter the main area.
“There should be a child in there. Make sure you speak gently to him, and protect him at all costs,” Nika ordered.
“Yes sir,” some of the marines whisper-replied to Nika.
Nika nodded, then gestured towards Nokomis, in case she wanted to add any orders, Ariennye you three heard those orders
"An ariennye an the four marines she gesture with hands giving orders they were take them from behind .
"An as others she gestured to swarm an surround making easy for commander an rest get job done.
then the group moved forward. They were about to enter when the Ops doors opened, and someone started to come out. The marines were fast, and had their phasers out and had shot the first few people who were leaving. Nika noticed someone holding a child, and went up to them, with her back against a corridor wall, her phaser directly pointed at them.
“Give me the child,” she ordered, no longer paying much attention to what was going on around her. She hoped that no one would shoot her, but from what she could tell so far it was a pure stroke of luck that the group had decided to leave at that time.
"Ariennye had the commanders back while she had not know that hold her phaser rifle to keep romulans at a distace
She order two other marines to join her one her left an the other on her right making it hard for the romulans to get good shot.
ariennye seen that one of the romulans found an opening to shoot the commander ariennye went air born taking the hit for the commander she fired off her phaser killing the romulan would had kill the commander
then two of the marines help ariennye up she as the field medic came to aid her ariennye brush it of its just scratch.
the field medic remember to not to step over his bounds he seen how ariennye was.
she was one tuff cookie that much rather not get her badside he has seen her temper more enough to last life time
while the medic was backing off one of the romulans came up i think it is time you negotiate with us he was holding the medic
ariennye said sure we will negotiate with you she came as if she was going to say something then pulled out the phaser shot him
anyone else wants negotiate? the medic look at her an spoke you could had killed me. ariennye spoke not chance i never miss
one of the marines spoke where did she learn to negotiate like that at?
"Ariennye grimce she new her wound was a scratch she new must continue to keep her men moral up if she not they would all die she could not tell them that there was only handful of marines left
"As blood soak her clothing an her hair damp with sweat as she cough grab cloth put it too her wiping the blood from her month
"She felt wave of dizzyness she regain control she took breath an let it slowly out.
"She had two wound one a fatal an two minor ones the fatal wound was a blade which was broke off into her chest which she kept hiddion from the commander there first meeting.
she had done some medetating before she met up with the commander which allowed her to come off normal when she was not
"Other was her shoulder was out of place an the other she which protected the commander from which hit her leg.
"She new she was mess but would not let on as how bad she was she was going to be seen weak before her men or the commander.
she kept it all to herself she new what had be done she was not going to fail.

T'Val woke to a strange sound, only to find her green firelizard humming along with one of the happily singing nurses. Then another sound filtered through her still fogged consciousness, a crying sound she knew only too well.
Her eyes snapped open and she struggled to sit up, only to be gently pushed down by the singing nurse. "Not too fast ma'am," the nurse insisted, "you lost quite a bit of blood we've only just replaced and you're still very weak."
This once, T'Val found herself too tired to argue with medical personnel. She focused her attention on the crying sound, which seemed to come closer.
"Mommy!" D'Beren stretched out his arms towards his mother, struggling out of Mercy's grasp. The young child wiped the tears from his eyes and clambered onto the bed. "Mommy are you all right?"
T'Val smiled weakly. "I am now my son," she whispered, taking her son into a careful hug, "I am very pleased to see you well. Did they treat you well?"
"They stuffed me in a box," the boy replied, anger flashing in his eyes. There was so much fury bottled up that Yade reacted to it, rising to her haunches and flapping her wings, her eyes whirling red and yellow. "I was very scared, but a nice lady saved me."
T'Val's gaze rose to meet Mercy's. ~thank you~ she thought, knowing he'd hear.
Then, a second person joined them and T'Val was surprised to find a white-faced Tedak joining them. "Is he all right?" he asked anxiously. "Are you all right?"
T'Val nodded, then motioned D'Beren towards his father. "Daddy!" the boy exclaimed, practically jumping into his father's arms.
"I am sorry this has happened," T'Val whispered, "I should have been more careful."
"Nonsense!" Tedak retorted, "this was beyond your control. You would be the last person handing our son over to the enemy, even if it would save other lives. Yes, you are a doctor, but I know you T'Val....we've been bonded, I know what you're like. I heard that message, but the thought of that happening never crossed my mind. Sure, I did worry for his safety and yours, but with Mercy present I deemed you both safe."
The Romulan could only be angry at himself for not being there, and he had been angry with T'Val for not being more careful, but now seeing her like this, looking extremely guilty and having been hurt, that anger dissipated instantly. Then he beckoned Mercy aside.
"Will she be all right?" he asked, "she looks terrible."

The USS Kirk was a massive ship. Over a kilometer long. Everything seemed to be bigger on the Kirk; the Republic class was one of the newest in Starfleet. Voran was sat at the desk in the colossal ready room, watching the stars go by through the window that took up one whole wall of the room. Voran liked the Galaxy, true, but he couldn't help but feel a bit envious of the Captain and crew who would soon be permenantly assigned to the Kirk. She certainly had the right name. Voran had jokingly grumbled that Starfleet had never named a ship after him, to which Tol pointed out that he wasn't dead...yet.
"Captain Voran, we are arriving at Assailant." Came Tol's voice over the intercom.
Voran moved to the door and walked out onto the huge bridge. Being a larger ship, the Kirk seemed to need lots of extra stations on the bridge. Voran sat down in the command chair that was slightly elevated above the other stations on the bridge. It reminded him of the Constitution Class somewhat.
"Report." He said.
"Sir, it appears as if the Romulans are leaving." Said Harris in surprise.
"Sir," Came Morley's voice from the tactical station, "some of them are firing on the Starbase."
"Move to intercept!" Ordered Voran, "Tell the other ships to do the same."
It wasn't exactly an epic battle. A few transphasic torpedoes sent the Romulans running.
"Open a channel to Assailant." Said Voran, once all the ships were in retreat.
Magellan appeared on the screen, "Captain, you appear to have upgraded your ship. What're you doing here?"
"We came to rescue you, Admiral." Joked Voran, "Although, I have to say, heroics isn't as challenging as it used to be."

Nika held D'Beren, after taking him from the Romulan soldier. He struggled to get down, and Nika glanced around, making sure it was safe before she did so. She found it hard to think of the child as 'Divine' but she hadn't exactly ever known a 'divine child' before, so she guessed he could be, for all she knew. Or his value to the Debrune could be symbolic. Nika didn't really have a clue, but she did wonder about anyone who was willing to take a child from his parents.
Nika glanced around at Ops. Amazingly enough, there wasn't all that much damage done, at least, not all that was that was obvious. Nika stepped subconsciously around the spot where the Debrune who rushed the Romulan had been shot. She noticed someone rush into Ops and glanced worriedly at Admiral Lin, but he recognized the man, who quickly left with D'Beren.
Nika picked up her walkie-talkie, she could barely wait until she could exchange it for a normal comm unit. She pressed down on the button to talk. /*/Commander Cir'Kem to Lieutenant Bahri and Ensign Rogers. Care to come down to Ops?\*\ Nika asked. /*/And if you wouldn't mind, keep an eye out for the state of affairs on the station on your way down. If you see any marines notify me immediately\*\
<Tag Sarina, Krythan>
Nika then walked over to Marine Captain Nokomis and they talked briefly about the marines efforts to retake the station. Nika headed towards Admiral Lin. “Admiral?” she asked. “The station is very nearly secure,” she informed him. “Is there anything else my officers or I can do presently to help, sir?” she asked.

Tedak's concern for T'Val was deeply felt by Mercy, for it mirrored his own. "Yes, she'll be fine. Her bio levels are mostly normal, just a bit anemic but that will subside soon as her system recovers."
They both turned and looked at T'Val with D'Beren at one side and Yade snuggled on the other. "Let her get some rest. Better yet, why don't you take D'Beren for some icecream or something. It's been a hard day on him as well. The two of you could use the time together to decompress so to speak, and she isn't the only casualty from this mess today. I have more patients to take care of."
"Yes, you are right doctor. It will do us both good. Come D'Beren, we shall let your mother rest."
D'Beren went with Tedak and together they departed the infirmary. Mercy went about his business attending new patients that were slowly straggeling in. It helped to clear his mind.
