Anders noticed the cadets were tired, and smiled. He was glad they had helped, but it was time the got some rest. Anders was more of an insomniac, and continued to purge the systems.
Joan was interested to see what she could do, but wasn't sure on what was next. She decides the bridge isn't the best place for her. She leaves to go to the Aerowing to see about getting some purging done herself.
OOC: Sorry this is sort... running out of time... I will do better later.

Damion woke up frightened and cold and in pain . He couldn't move and couldn't see anything but the four bright lights on the ceiling. He realized where he was . Sickbay .
"Doctor, Jared is anyone there .... "
He called out with hope of hearing a reply . any voice would be comfort right about now.

After discussing the purging process with both Rachel and Dr Hope - who came in about 10 minutes ago to relieve them - the trio decided that it could wait until later. E'Liana had long established in her mind that she was rather tired, having not slept properly since she was on Qo'Nos due to nerves about her first mission. Scanning the room, E'Liana noticed how everyone on the biobeds were asleep and that only the EMH seemed to be not experiencing fatigue. She looked at Rachel sleepily, who gave her the same look in return and they smiled at eachother. Dr Hope came through from the Office and looked from the nurse to the Cadet. "You know, things have quietened down considerably and we can wait until morning to do the Purging Process and I have the EMH to help me if need be. Go and have a rest you two." He smiled at them. The two women looked incredibly relieved and nodded in agreement. Rachel was the first to leave, having bidded everyone goodnight very quickly. "Doctor, Jared is anyone there....?" Damion has woken up slightly and seemed rather distressed. E'Liana walked up to him. "It's alright Cadet, you're in Sickbay. You've been treated for some burns and your artificial arm has been taken off due to damage. We shall try and see what we can do about that tomorrow. Now, however, I suggest you get some sleep like me." She looked at him, not unkindly, wondering if he was still hostile towards her despite the fact that she had helped save his life. He looked up for a moment, struggling to keep his eyes open. "Goodnig.." and he was asleep again. E'Liana patted his shoulder and turned around. She grabbed her jacket which she had taken off earlier in the rush and called to Dr Hope as she left. "Call me if you need me....just try not to need me, ok?" He heard her laughter as the doors closed behind her. In her quarters, she noticed the letter from her sister she had yet to reply to and the pile of clothes on her bed she had meant to sort out. Too tired to care, she did what she had not done in years and swept the clothes into a graceless pile on the floor, kicked off her shoes and feel on her bed. OOC: I can't remember if Dr Hope is alseep or awake. If he's asleep then just pretend he came to relieve me.

Richards and Wilkins trudged towards the Mess Hall after the end of their long duty shift. They were tired, they were achy, but most of all, they were hungry.
"I've never replaced so many faulty relays in my life," Richards said, rubbing his sore hands. "I'd barely get one done before Rio was calling me to tell me to replace another one. Eventually I told him to link to a PADD I had with me, and just transmit them to the PADD."
"That's not so bad," Wilkins commented. "It's better than what I have to do. McCormick has me running scan after mind-numbing scan on this virus, trying to make some sense of this miserable virus. You'd think they wouldnt waste an Officer's time with something like this. Give it to a Cadet, it's what they're for."
They neared the Mess Hall "I hope the food's better by now. I could barely stand the swill they call food that we had for lunch. Could barely stomach it," Richards complained.
"Yeah, but given that more time has gone by, and the availability of good food has continued to drop, it's probably going to be even worse. I hope it's palatable," Wilkins said, and they walked into the Mess Hall door. They took the bowl of they-weren't-sure-what, and went they went over to a corner. "Well, it doesn't look so bad," Wilkins said, as they placed their bowls of unrecognizable stew on the table and sat down.
"Yeah, but I bet it'll taste something like liquid polymer," Richards as he scooped up a little with his spoon, and dropped it back down, checking its consistency. He tried a bit of it, and his face nearly puckered at the taste. "I hope they get something edible in here sometime soon."

Michael smiled after the cadet and the chief nurse, then slowly walked over to where Damion was lying down on the biobed. At present the cadet was asleep but it did seem like the young man was experiencing nightmares. Michael ran his hands through his hair and stiffled a yawn. Sure, he had caught a few more hours of sleep but what sleep he had gotten was not nearly enough to compensate for the three shifts he had run in a row without rest.
He ran a final check on the sleeping cadet, then went to sit at Kahlan's side for a bit. The little girl had been injected with the cure also, and was responding better to the cure than her little sister, whose response had been rather violent. He gazed over where his wife still lay comatose, his youngest child lying on her chest sleeping peacefully.
Quietly, he lifted Kahlan and gave her a gentle hug, ran a hand over her head and kissed her forehead. He placed her back down on the biobed, and raised the safetybars that made sure she wouldn't fall off the bed accidentally. Next he walked over to S'reena and picked up Yarna. The little girl opened her eyes and stuck out her hands towards him. "Da!" she cried out, and Michael's eyes lit up with happiness.
"Yes darling, it's daddy," he returned, hugging the little girl.
Then Yarna squirmed in his arms, wanting to look down at her mother. "Ma?" she then called questioningly.
"Mommy is very ill honey," Michael whispered, "but she'll be better soon, just as you got better. Your sister is also getting better." He walked back to Kahlan's bed and placed Yarna beside her. "You be a good little girl and don't wake your sister," Michael said, as he gave the infant a kiss. "I'm going to check on mommy and then on some of momm's friends."
The assistant CMO motioned for the EMH to come over. "Please keep an eye on them," he said.
"I am a doctor, not a babysitter," the EMH said indignantly.
"Just do it!" Michael sighed, then walked over to where Jason was seemingly asleep. He checked the CMO's readings and nodded in satisfaction. From the corner of his eyes he saw movement in the CMO's office. There he found Yrdis and Sarlina rubbing their eyes.
"You two should get some sleep also," he said, and noticed both of them stiffen momentarily. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to startle you both. But honestly, you two should take a break...go on I don't want to see you both here in sickbay for the next eight hours. And don't make me sedate you!"
<Sarlina/Yrdis>
~~in engineering~~
Dharma Meri eyed the chief engineer wearily as he worked his consoles. "How soon until we have full power back?" she questioned him, "and how long until we can declare our emergency over?" She tapped her foot impatiently, tucking the phaser she had just used on a few ODN couplings under her arm.
"Meri to Marcell, what's your status?" she finally asked, not wanting to wait for Rio's answer, "we're still having trouble firing up the engines. It seems that our chief engineer is not up to his task." While she said it, she shot a glare at the chief engineer, who raised his hands helplessly. It wasn't exactly his fault that the warp core had gone offline and wouldn't cold start.

"You two should get some sleep also," said a voice close to Commander Ford's boibed. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to startle you both. But honestly, you two should take a break...go on I don't want to see you both here in sickbay for the next eight hours. And don't make me sedate you!"
The last sentence woke William up faster than any hypospray the doctor could give him. He sat up in the biobed and rubbed his eyes. Feeling much better, and in complete control of himself, William looked around Sickbay. I must have been out for a long time, he though. But it seemed to have been worth it; William didn't feel disoriented at all. In fact, he felt fine. His memory was as good as ever, and he got out of the biobed as Michael came over to him.
"Feeling better?" the doctor asked.
"Oh, yes. I feel great."
"That's what you said last time, I believe," said Michael. "I'm going to check you over once more..." the doctor scanned him with a medical tricorder. "Well, you do check out. Its rather late. I suggest you get some sleep. Even though you've been out for some time, I don;t want you messing up your sleeping habits. Take this hypospray and administer it to yourself when you get to your quarters. It'll keep you asleep for a good five or six hours. You'll wake up with plenty of time to get to your next shift."
"Thanks, doc," said William as he left.

<OCC: Okay I don't know how the computer wakes people up so I'm just going to wing it.>
On:
Beep, Beep, Beep, Beep
Matt heard the wake up call the first time, but he was so tired. The two hours did nothing for him
Beep, Beep, Beep
Matt was still in his bed, but the noise the computer was giving was so annoying that he just had to wake up fully.
"Computer turn off wake up notice," Matt said yawning. Matt then went to his closet and took out a new uniform. He went into his bathroom and took a shower. Before he left his room, Matt decided to meditate. He hadn't done that in a while, but it felt good. After about 20 minutes, Matt felt refreshed and ready to go.
Matt was thinking about inviting Kedzie to breakfast, but he realized that she still might be sleeping, so he left without her. Once he reached the Mess Hall, Matt was so thankful that before he went to sleep he purged the replicators.
"Computer replicate some orange juice, and some pancakes," in a matter of seconds the computer flashed out some food. Matt took it to a empty seat and ate his food in silence. Matt was glad that the Mess was almost empty, it gave Matt a chance to think of what he was going to do. Then it hit him. Matt quickly left the mess and headed to wards sickbay again.
"Cadet what are you doing here?" Dr. Hope asked.
"Dr. I already got some sleep, but I couldn't stop thinking about the girls," Matt said to their father. Then both of them heard the cry of a little girl. The EMH tried to comfort the girl, but to no avail.
"May I?" Matt asked. The Doctor nodded yes and went back to work. Matt headed to wards Yarna.
"Hey Yarna," Matt said as he tickled the cute little girl. Yarna seemed to remember the cadet and giggled once he got close. Matt picked her up and cradled her, playing with her.
"I'm glad to see you're better Yarna," Matt said to the sweet child. For the next two hours Matt played with Yarna, Matt was glad he could do something else than purge the systems.
Soon Matt realized that he needed to go back to work. Matt placed Yarna next to her mother and told Dr. Hope that he was leaving. Matt then headed towards Main Engineering.
Once he arrived he saw that Lt. Anders was still there. He didn't want to bother him and continued to work, purging more systems, something he was becoming a pro at.

Damion woke some hours later and tried to figure out in his head what had happened. He lay silent for at least 10 minutes before the EMH Noticed he was conscious. " Ah Cadet i see you are awake , how do you feel" Damion thought to himself that with all the Tech around him the Doctor was just asking for confirmation , he must know how he felt. " My head hurts and my back hurts " He turned his head and looked to wards where his arm should have been. "Well its about time for more terrazene anyway , should help with the pain" the Doctor replied as he leaned forward and injected a hypo spray into the cadets throat. "When can i leave" Damion asked anxiously. the Doctor explained that E'liana BeTor was due to see him as soon as she came on duty and that all decisions would be hers. "So , i wait" <Tag BeToR (if ya done napping )>

YrDis had noted a while ago that things in Sickbay were starting to get under control. He had quietly ordered Sarlina to get some sleep. After she had got back up, he had given her his duties then gotten some himself. It wasn't enough, but it would keep them both going for a bit.
YrDis and Sarlina took a look at Sickbay. There were a few less casualties lying about. Commander Hope's girls were doing much better. However, Dr. Black was now infected, but the virus was less virulent in him. YrDis walked over to take a look at the doctor and examined his readouts. He seemed to be resting, his immune system boosted by the nanoprobes. YrDis ran a microcellular scan, which clearly showed that the nanoprobes had fully bonded to the virus in the doctors system. Frowning, he initiated the program which would flush the nanoprobes and virus from the doctors system, and watched with relief as the virus melted away.
Now that they had a consistent way of dealing with the virus that worked, it was time to get the thing out of the crew. YrDis and Sarlina turned to the next patient...

E'Liana woke up with a start. Looking around her quarters blindly in search of whatever woke her up, she found nothing and decided to try to go back to sleep. After half an hour of failing miserably, she conceded defeat and finally got up.
She went and had a shower for the first time in what felt like ages. Glad to finally feel awake once more, she got dressed into a clean uniform (having rummaged through her bag) and smoothed out the creases whilst looking for another hair band to tie her wild her up with.
Looking in the mirror, she grimaced at what she saw but decided that now was not the time to worry about such things. Almost ready to leave, she noticed once again the letter from her sister she had not answered but decided to postpone replying yet again until later. ~Whenever that is...~ she thought. Another thing she noticed was her image of Kahless waiting for her. She felt bad at not having prayed but felt that he would understand - he was supposedly compassionate after all.
E'Liana made her bed and quickly tidied up then made her way to sickbay where she was greeted by Mr Jhukat who was sitting up in bed looking rather bored.
"Morning...can I go now?" He asked. E'Liana smiled slightly. "What? You don't like it here?" She inquired. He smiled slightly in return, his eyes flitting up to her forehead...
She ignored this, however, deciding instead to have a look at where his mechanical arm should be.
"Hmm...I can see that this needs a little minor regenerating, I think that was caused when they took your arm off yesterday. It looks like the dermal regnerator has already been run over it, but this appears to have either been missed of quite recent. Did you touch your wound?"
He looked a little surprised that she could think him that stupid but realised that she was just doing her job. "No, Doctor, I haven't touched it...I'd never do that. I just want my arm back."
As she scanned she explained the problem there was with that idea. "You see, your arm was very badly damaged by the weapons fire inflicted upon it. I think it was because it was in such close range and it wasn't designed to be used as a trap for viruses..." She raised her eyebrow skeptically, as though telling him off.
"I spoke briefly to Cadet Jared last night over the comm - as he's had a look at what's left of your arm - and we both agree that although your arm could be fixed we believe it would be better if a new one was made. This is purely because by the time we fix the old one, it would be almost all new parts anyway. I'll ask him to come in anyway to talk to you about it and we can all have a look before you decide, that OK?"
<Tag Damion and Jared>
She nodded at Damion and went into the office to finally relieve Dr Hope and assist the two counsellors.

Michael smiled at the Klingon cadet as she entered the office; she sure looked much more alert than she had been when he sent her off duty. "Had a good sleep cadet?" he asked, as he stacked the PADDs he'd been working on.
As she nodded, he vacated the seat for her. "Doctor Black's situation hasn't changed," he reported, "but Yarna is doing much better, and Kahlan is also starting to recover. There is also very little change in S'reena." At the mention of his still unconscious wife, Michael's expression saddened. "I haven't injected her with the cure yet, as there are more dire cases than her, but I would really appreciate it if she was seen to soon as well. My youngest is very distressed at the moment, because she can't get her mother to wake up."
He gazed at the young cadet helplessly and pleadingly, but said nothing else. "At any rate, I am going to check on my family and then I am going to take a brief rest. I shall be back in two hours. If you need me, do not hesitate to call will you?" With that, he went to see to his family and to his rest.
~engineering~
Lieutenant Commander Dharma Meri gazed around engineering. Commander Rio was desperately trying to get the warp core back on line, but from the looks of things, the deflector array also needed to be worked on. As Cadet Gonto was the navigations cadet, the Trill officer thought that this would be a perfect job for him to start repairs on, before the bridge was cleared and he could commence repairs on that.
"Meri to Cadet Gonto, please report to engineering."
<Gonto>
A few minutes later, a sleepy looking cadet arrived and Meri explained to him what she needed him to do.
<Gonto....give a detailed description of how you set to work and what your char is thinking about everything and nothing during that.>

=/\= Meri to cadet Gonto, please report to engineering. =/\= Travor heard over his combadge. Wiping the sleep from his eyes, tapping his combadge he replied, =/\= On my way =/\=
He was soon ready to leave; after taking a shower and putting on a clean uniform, he decided he wanted to start growing a beard. Now is as good a time as any to start. He thought to himself. As he was leaving his quarters, he saw the picture of his girlfriend. I will write to her when all this mess with the Virus is over. Maybe I will ask her to meet me at the Star Base He left his quarters and head towards Engineering.
As he entered the doors, Commander Meri looked up and motioned for him to come over. When he got over to her, she explained what she wanted him do to. Since he had never worked on a real Deflector, just on simulated ones, he asked, "Do you mind if one your engineers could assist me?" She replied, "You can take who ever you need." So Travor walked up to one of the engineers and told him what he was doing and that he never worked on an actual Deflector and asked the engineer if he would help out.
The two of them walked over to Deflector control and got to work. While they were replacing isolinear chips and gel-packs, Travor asked the ensign that was working with him if he had a girlfriend/fiance/wife. "My wife and I have been married for one year. Are you married?" The Ensign replied/asked. "No, I am not married yet, but I am thinking about asking my Girl Friend to marry me after this mess with the Virus is over. Got any pointers?" Travor asked. "What ever you do, always tell her you like what she is doing/wearing." The ensgin said.
They continued talking as they worked. After 45 min, the Ensign said, "Well, I think that should do."
=/\= Ensign Johnson to Engineering =/\= =/\= Commander Meri here, go ahead =/\= =/\= We're finished here, do you have anything else for us to do?=/\=

Damion stared back at the Klingon woman.. "Tell Jared that he can find the specs on a padd in my quarters , he can start there" "Actually ill be starting to build it" Said the Klingon "You" his eyes widened in disgust " a Klingon replacing my arm? how ironic... She stared back at him insulted but he said nothing he just turned away . She slammed the Dermal regenerater on the medical trolley and stormed into the office. " Whats wrong with you " Asked the EMH looking at a very annoyed E'liana BeTor. <Tag BeTor and who ever wants to visit poor sick crew mate >

The Trill night-time first officer looked surprised. "Are you sure?" she enquired. 45 Minutes would not nearly be enough to fix the deflector dish. By now, Meri had joined Marcell elsewhere on the ship and exchanged a curious look with him. She didn't like, nor trust the Klingon captain, despite what the Romulan first officer - whom she didn't trust either - told her.
"Well, test the dish then cadet," she ordered, "I am sure that you'll find that the dish will not be working, not with any input from the bridge, which is still off-line."
Meri pointed at the nearest engineer that was working at their location. "Ensign Waters, please join cadet Gonto at Deflector control and assist him in finding any faults in his work. I am sure that he has done very well, but I sincerely doubt that he and his team have find every malfunction. The dish may work, but if anything leading to it isn't then it's still useless."
Waters sighed, packed his tools and left for Deflector control. "Cadet Gonto?" Waters asked, "Commander Meri's requested that I join your team. She thinks that the dish may not be working. I'm here to assist you in finding any malfunctions that might lead to the dish not sending any data to consoles hooked up to it."
<Gonto>
Meri watched the officer go, and shrugged. It was known to her that not many liked her direct manners in dealing with things, and she couldn't care less. She now caught Marcell staring at her with an odd look on his face. "What?" she enquired harshly, then looked at her chronometer. "I am going to take a break," she informed him, "if you like join me, if you don't...."-she shrugged- "suits me fine too."
As she found her way to the mess hall, she tapped her combadge. "Meri to McCormick, what is the status of your team?"

(OOC; the first part is a joint post with BeTor) Jared had just arrived in sickbay after his complete sleeping experience back in his quarters. He wasn't a mornings person and hadn't eaten yet, but even so was about as awake as he was going to be. He had arrived just in time to hear Jhukat's less than tactful 'acceptance' of Dr BeTor's help. He went up to Jhukat and spoke quietly, but with emphasis. 'Since it I was the one responsible for the destruction of your old arm, I am bound to help make you a new one, so here are the options. Either you use the wisdom Trills are famous for and apologise for such a crass remark, or I'll make an arm with a remote control so it can Targ slap you every time you make such a remark until you learn. I despise discrimination and lived for 23 years perfectly happily without it. Also, some of the most honourable people I ever met were Klingons, including Dr BeTor and her father. Now if he does find out about you tormenting the good doctor, then my proposal is by far the best offer you're going to have in a short and eventful lifetime. So what's it going to be?'
Jared hoped Jhukat would see sense. Otherwise it was entirely possible he'd see the sharp end of a Bat'leth at high velocity in a starbase somewhere.
'And I hope you're feeling well' Jared added.
<tag Damion>
Jared walked into BeTor's office. 'I hope Jhukat didn't offend you, he doesn't seem to have a gauge between his brain and his mouth.' E'Liana glanced at him but remained silent. 'Very well then' Jared replied, offended 'You can't remain on your own forever though. Sooner or later you need to talk to someone about things before they consume you.'
'Consume me? Oh please, you make me sound so human. I AM half-Klingon you know. I know how to handle p'taghs like Mr Jhukat out there...'
'Half Klingon makes no difference. You can't hide behind things like that all your life and pretend that somehow you're different. Klingons have feelings too, they just react aggressively instead of crying. Anyway, you are half human too.'
'Something of which I am painfully aware, Mr Jared. Humans seem to enjoy pointing out that I am merely half like them, whilst Klingons - the majority at least - have no such desire to point out the obvious. I do not need counselling advice from a Science Officer, I can look after myself...thank you.' She ended curtly. 'I assume you are here to discuss Mr Jhukhat's arm replacement?' She enquired, hoping he would take the hint.
Despite his lack of telepathy, Jared's instincts told him now was not the best time to push the matter.
'It shouldn't take more than a few days to fit a new one recycling anything usable from the old one and using your medical expertise to make it fit and work better. The only hard part will be calibrating it with the chip in his spine to coordinate the movement. That promises to be the most difficult but possibly the most amusing part.' Jared explained.
'Amusing? How so? Inserting anything into the nervous system is an incredibly dangerous process, I shall need more help with me for that. I hardly think it would be funny...'
'Quite. We can discuss this once I've retreived the design specs from Jhukat's quarters. Right now I should go and see about the virus in the bridge before someone goes up there and the bloody things spreads. I'm going to see about using the cure you worked out on the ship. So, if this works then it'll be thanks to you too. Don't worry, I'll make sure the captain knows.' Jared smiled at BeTor.
E'Liana could see that he was trying his best to be nice, but she really didn't see the point of what her Klingon side thought were false niceities, but the Human half appreciated the effort and smiled in return. 'Thank you, but I'm not really interestes in praise and glory - ironically enough.'
'It's not glory, simply recognition. I couldn't have done it without you and I don't want undeserved praise.'
'It's up to you...' She said dismissively, clutching her PADD.
'Very well then, I'll see you at another time' he said and wandered off. On his way out of sickbay, Jared picked up a scalpel and fiddled with it thoughtfully for a minute. Then he continued on his way, forgetting he was holding it.
Jared considered that Commander McCormick had probably had enough sleep by now. If not then it's her own damn fault. =/\=Commander McCormick, can you meet me in main engineering please, I have an idea on how to remove this damn virus for good=/\= Although it would also need Commander Blayne's nanoprobes. =/\=Commander Blayne, could you meet Commander McCormick and I in main engineering please, I have an idea on this virus=/\=
Jared arrived in Engineering shortly before the other two. He had time to call up a visual readout of the virus's temporary accommodation. The other two arrived, Commander Blayne looked less than healthy or awake. 'What's your idea, cadet?' McCormick asked
'We can destroy the virus as it is on the bridge, but we'll need your nanoprobes' Jared said, pointing at Blayne. Blayne turned pale, like he thought Jared was going to dissect him then and there for them. Jared realised that in Blayne's less than awake state he was reacting fairly understandibly to someone holding a scalpel at him. Jared put the scalpel down.
'Sorry Commander, I forgot I was holding that' he explained, and then indicated the display. 'Currently, the severed bridge systems are acting as a kind of electronic island, insulating the virus from the rest of the ship. We can remove it simply by injecting Commander Blayne's nanoprobes into the systems so they can remove it as they did with the biological patients and then generating an EM pulse on the bridge to disable the nanoprobes. The island will prevent the nanos from taking over the ship and the EM pulse will knock out any and I mean any electronic equipment on the bridge, including the nanos. Only then will it be safe to use the bridge again. Commander Blayne, can you inject them into the system yourself or do we need to process them first?'

Damion realized as soon as he had been told off by the science cadet that he was right. This young women wasn't there , she hadn't done anything to him when he was attacked those years ago so why take it out on her.
He decided he would try to apologies to the Doctor , but wondered if there was anyway he could ever forgive the Klingon's for destroying his life.
It wasn't really that he blamed them when he met them , he knew that they weren't all the same in reality , but every time he met one he felt the anger inside him swell like a kresalian storm and he felt that he had to protect himself from all forms of attack. He had learned to erect this shield from the species and became aggressive and angry any time they were near.
He knew it was wrong and unacceptable in star fleet but he couldn't help himself.
When she came back , if she came back . he would apologies.

Kedzie slept better than she had thought she would, and when she awoke she felt that she was ready to continue with the slow and repetitive work of purging systems. After breakfast. “Computer, time?” she requested, opening her eyes.
“The time is seven-twenty-two,” the computer replied. Kedzie nodded to herself, and rolled out of bed.
Awake and dressed, Kedzie felt a stab of hunger, and realized that she hadn’t eaten, at least, not anything substantial, for quite a while. She remembered that after they had gone off duty, but before they had gotten to sickbay, Matt informed her that he had fixed the replicators. Now, all she needed to find was a replicators. Unfortunately for her, yet understandably, Civilian quarters were not equipped with them.
Kedzie headed to the Mess Hall, and found something to eat. That necessity disposed of, she headed to engineering so she could go back to purging systems. Arriving there, she found Matt and Lt. Anders hard at work. “How much sleep did you get?” she asked Matt, then noticed that Lt. Anders was still awake. Kedzie wondered briefly how he could still be working, or, indeed, if he had kept working the whole time, instead of taking a break.
Starting to work, Kedzie noticed that Commander McCormick, Cadet Jared, and Commander Blayne were gathered in one part of engineering, and Reman seemed to be explaining something. “Do you know what they are doing?” Kedzie asked, waiting for either Matt or Lt. Anders to answer her question. The three seemed like they were discussing something, but Kedzie couldn’t tell what.

“Do you know what they are doing?”
"Something about a virus infecting the Bridge," said William. "I just woke up, so I don't have a very good idea of what's going on either."
Kedzie jumped a little. "Commander Ford! You got out of Sickbay?"
"Finally. I better go tell Lt. McCormick and Cadet Reman that I'm back up to par, but I'll let them finish what they're talking about first, and then inform them of my recovery."

A couple hours before the sedative was supposed to wear off, Jason found himself rousing from the deep sleep he had been placed in. He looked around, and found Sickbay quite quiet as compared to yesterday. A patient or two was now gone, which meant they must have been released.
He sat up, smoothing his uniform. He flexed his hands, testing their mobility and sensitivity. They seemed to have returned to normal. He touched each with the other, and discovered he had full sensation back. Moreover, the dull pain he felt earlier was gone as well. This rather comforted him. Not having use of his hands, a surgeon's most valuable tool, was disturbing to him. He had been stripped of his authority, but to have a virus take away his power was even worse.
He went over to a console, and blanked the screen. He looked at his reflection, checking to make sure his appearance was suitable for duty. Finding that his hair had not been too badly disheveled, and reactivated the screen, and looked around Sickbay.
He saw Jordan, still lying on a biobed. Going over, he checked his condition. All her vital signs were alot stronger than when he last checked, indicating that her recovery was coming along nicely. He grabbed a tricorder. He was happy to see that he could grip it again. He scanned her, and found no trace of the virus's effect. He sighed, and then looked upon her face. Because she was asleep, the liveliness that usually filled her face was not present, but the tension and discomfort were absent as well. He just stood there, looking down at her for a few moments.
He heard footsteps, and looked over. E'Liana was stepping out of the Office, and was coming towards him. "Doctor?"
"Good morning, E'Liana," he said, "just checking on the welfare of my mentor." He laid a hand on Jordan's shoulder as he said this, and looked down at her for a moment. He looked back up. "It appears that I have recovered from the effects of the virus. I know that the dosage of sedative that I recieved dictated that I shouldn't be awake for another couple hours, but I believe the nanoprobes neutralized some of the effects of the sedative, causing me to wake up sooner. May I be reinstated to my duties?" he asked, hoping she realized he meant as Chief Medical Officer.

Matt had been hard at work for the last two hours. He didn't realize that he was working so much until Kedzie asked him how much sleep he got.
"I got two hours," Matt said. Kedzie seemed shock when he told her, but Matt said it was okay.
"I then went to see Yarna." Kedzie smiled at that and went back to work. Once she realized that Commander McCormick and the other cadets were talking, she asked Matt what was happening. Matt said he didn't know and continued to work.
Off: Sorry it's so short, press for time.

As Cadet Gonto and Ensign Johnson were waiting for a reply from Commander Meri, a new Ensgin walked in. "Cadet Gonto?" the new Ensign asked. Travor nodded. "Commander Meri's requested that I join your team. She thinks that the dish may not be working. I'm here to assist you in finding any malfunctions that might lead to the dish not sending any data to consoles hooked up to it. By the way, I am Ensign Walters."
"Ok, lets get to work," Travor said looking at a console. "First we need to..." as he was speaking the consoles around the room all went blank, "See if we can get those consoles back up."Man this sucks!!! What could have caused that."Any Ideas, guys?" Travor asked the two engineers.
"Lets try looking at the relays and gel-packs, even though we replaced most of them," Ensign Johnson said, and got to work. Travor nodded and started scanning the relays with a Tricorder. Most of the relays are going to have to be replaced, he thought.

Having spoken to Mr jared about Jhkhat's arm, E'Liana turned her attention back to the purging process which Rachel seemed to have already started last night. Thinking just that, Rachel walked through the door, hurridley combing her hair with her fingers.
"I'm sorry I'm late, I just couldn't get up." E'Liana dismissed the nurse's worry with a wave of her hand. "Not to worry, but now you're here we can get started on the purging process." Rachel nodded and the two women headed into the Office.
Once there, they brought up the most recent scans of all the patients and noted that they were all responding well to the treatment. Having decided to leave Commander S'Reena until last as she was reacting slowest to the treatment, they armed themselves with tricorders and hyposprays and set to work. They decided that working together, whilst technically least efficent, would enable them to study the patient's reactions more closely.
Cadet BeTor went into main sickbay first and noticed that Dr Black had woken up earlier than planned.
"Good morning, E'Liana," the other Doctor said, "just checking on the welfare of my mentor." E'Liana noted the affection in his voice and the hand on her arm, but thought it wise to stay silent.
He looked up from Jordan. "It appears that I have recovered from the effects of the virus. I know that the dosage of sedative that I recieved dictated that I shouldn't be awake for another couple hours, but I believe the nanoprobes neutralized some of the effects of the sedative, causing me to wake up sooner. May I be reinstated to my duties?"
She knew what he was really talking about, but she didn't really think it the time for such concerns since their patients were still not in the clear.
"I'm not the CMO, Dr Hope is. Although admittedly he is not on duty and so I am the 'CMO', I believe we should consult him. Right now, however, we still have patients to consider and the family of the man we wish to enquire regarding your job. I believe he would prioritise them over you, Doctor...for now, however, you can assist Rachel and myself with the purging. Later, I'll ask you about Damion's arm..." She said stiffly.
She handed him her tricorder and pointed to Jordan. "Please scan her whilst I get another tricorder. We do need to get a move on..." She instructed stifly, and turned on her heel into the office.

Jordan first felt Draco's mind gently probing hers for signs of life. She was still tired but felt much better than she had and didn't feel any sign of the virus in her. A flood of memories came back to her and she opened her eyes. She saw Jason with her back to her and talking to E'Liana. She looked up and saw Draco above her. He thought, I was worried you might not wake back up though from Jason's reactions, you were fine.[/i] Jordan told him, I'd never leave ya or any of my friends behind in this life. Ya know that.[/i] Draco crooned in delight and enjoyment and Jordan put a finger to her lips as a signal to stay quiet but Jason heard Draco and turned around. Jordan smiled.
Jordan: Mornin' Jason.
Jason: Hi. How do you feel?
Jordan: I feel back completely to myself.
She slowly sat up and swung her legs over the side of the biobed. She closed her eyes as a momentary dizziness came over her but she didn't move. She wasn't too keen on looking Jason in the eye. She was still greatly embarassed about what had happened between Jason and herself. She shook her head, making her hair swoosh around. She then didn't bother to push it out of her face but she saw S'reena still unconscious on a biobed.
Jason: Jordan?
Jordan: I want to help. I've rested and the virus is no longer in me. Draco informs me that ya scanned me once already and if ya haven't again already, then I suggest ya do it quickly so I can help, even if all that means is watchin' over patients and alertin' ya or E'Liana if any problems come up.
Draco scolded her for her cold tone but Jordan wanted to distance herself from her recent memories and this was the only way to do it at the moment. She sensed Jason pull back inwardly at her words and was sorry for hurting him. She moved her hair out of her face behind her ears and continued to look at the floor.

James sat in the large bay that housed the Hanson’s main computer core. He watched as the memory, and subsequently the virus were wiped away into nothingness. In order for this process to work however, he would need to get the virus totally removed from the ship physically. This meant destroying, disconnecting, or decontaminating every single piece of equipment on the entire vessel that was infected. He had gathered several teams to scour the ship during the time the core was erased, and wouldn’t install the original files until all of the necessary tasks were complete.
James remained in constant contact with the teams, and gave them instructions on different location where he’d seen infections. The problems were located in areas that would help spread the disease. This narrowed the field of interest down to replicators, medical supplies, and transporters. That greatly narrowed the search, and cut hours of work off the time.
Commander Rio felt that all available help was required, so he joined in. Going through people’s quarters, he used phasers, pulse dissentioners, and his hands to remove the infections in the replicators. Once all of the teams on each deck had verified that they had completed their sweeps, and double checked all possible areas, James returned to the Core, and initialized the installation of the User Interface, and Starfleet Library. The process would take approximately 2 more hours, so Rye decided to take a short nap to refresh himself.
A women entered engineering, and began quizzing him on completion times. Before James had za chance to answer, she opened a comm. Channel to Captain Marcell. James ignored her, and continued to work, until he made a cold remark about his competency. James was doing all he could to bring the Hanson up to spec again, but the virus hadn’t made it easy.
”Excuse me, mamn, but my staff and I are working almost round the clock trying to get us back p and running. We are NOT competent, and are now almost done getting us up. In 2 hours, we shall be almost fully operational again. James said with quite a bit of anger and irritation in his voice.[/color]
”Lieutenant. Can you give me a buzz about 10 minutes before the comp comes back up?”
”No problem, sir.
James crawled through the Jeffries tubes up to his quarters, and entered his abode. He didn’t bother changing, and fell immediately asleep as his head hit the soft pillow. Power and computer control would be restored in 2 hours, and there was nought to do but sleep.
(=/\=) ”Lieutenant Campbell to Commander Rio. We’re almost ready to bring the core online, sir. You’d better wake up.”
”On my way, Glenn. I’ll be down in a jiffy. (=/\=)And James was in fact down quite hastily, and watched as the main computer fired up, and all shipboard system began to initialize once again. After setting up a few settings, James called Captain Marcell, and informed him of the functionality of the ship. Rio now went down to main engineering, by turbolift, and checked the status of the warp core.
Upon verifying that all was normal, James initialized the startup for the warp drive, and waited the 10 minutes to see the rush of blues flowing around the inside of the core.

Ensign Johnson, Ensign Waters, and Cadet Gonto tried in vain to get the consoles back up for two hours. At the end of those two hours the consoles came up on their own. Well, if I had known that the computer was going to be offline...I could have done something more productive. Oh, Well I guess that fixes that problem...
=/\= Gonto to Engineering =/\= =/\= Engineering here, go ahead. =/\= =/\= Is the deflector working correctly now? =/\=
<<Engineering>>
"I am going to go get something to eat, you guys want anything?" Travor asked the two Ensigns. They both said that they would go to the mess hall with Travor. So, all three of them left Deflector Control and headed towards the Mess Hall.
