Crippled, and virtually blind due to the blood in her eyes, S'reena lay on the floor in her cell, wondering what she'd done to deserve this kind of treatment. She lifted herself up with her healthy right arm, gritting her teeth as she bit back the pain that shot through her body. She was still gasping for air as she struggled herself up in a sitting positing, leaning her back against the bench.
She tasted the blood in her mouth, but tried her best not to swallow it. She felt really sick and knew she was going to vomit any second now. "Head...please," she whispered, "sick...."
To her surprise, Virh beckoned the two guards to take her to the head. ~probably doesn't want to get his clothing soiled~ she thought, finding the thought oddly amusing. ~either that, or he's more humane than he wants to let on~
When the guards left her alone in the small cabinet to fend for herself, she emptied her stomach, swallowing back the foul taste in her mouth. "Computer, go to silent mode," she whispered, muttering her command code, "transfer all command codes to Admiral Karynn McCormick and alert her of the command change. Respond only to her commands." Again she muttered a series of command codes, and knew the transfer had been one even though the computer didn't give an acknowledgement.
Slowly, she crawled back out of the small compartment, upon which the guards dragged her back to the cell. There, she crawled into a corner and huddled up, hugging her legs with her ams, protecting her abdomen. It was a good thing she was, because Virh was coming at her again. "Where were you born," he said softly, though menacingly.
"I'Ramnau," S'reena whispered, "my record says Wodonga, but I was born in i'Ramnau, on Ch'Rihan. Please, no more........"
~~ Raptor ~~
Suddenly. Michael bolted upright, looking about himself in bewilderment. He didn't know what woke him up, but an eery feeling crept over him. "Something's wrong," he said, to nobody in particular, "something's terribly wrong."

Kirk looked over his sensors again. It had been hours since the ship had engaged its cloak and started to follow the warp signature of the Hanson. Kirk was patient, but every sensor sweep he made came up with nothing. Kirk ran another sensor sweep, after he engaged the program he rubbed his eyes. The constant viewing of these red consoles were starting to make his eyes dry.
Green consoles name seemed to hurt my eyes, Kirk thought to himself as he looked around the bridge. Things had gotten very quiet since they started to chase down the Hanson. Everybody was working hard at their stations, Commander Savali walked from station to station getting constant updated reports from all his officers and Cadets.
Finally, Kirk thought as the sensor sweep came back, It seems that each one of these sweeps are taking longer and longer to come back. Looking at the information his eyes opened wide.
"Commander," Kirk said breaking the silence of the bridge, "I think you better come take a look at this."
"What is it?" He said coming over to face Kirk.
"The sensors have finally picked up the Hanson," He said looking up to make eye contract with the Commander, "She appears to be at a dead stop right now."
"Where is she?"
"At our current speed we should reach her in ten hours."

"I'Ramnau," S'reena whispered, "my record says Wodonga, but I was born in i'Ramnau, on Ch'Rihan. Please, no more........"
"Ah, I'Ramnau, such a pretty place. I have never been, but I bet it is wonderful."
Commander Hope was sitting in a defensive position trying to protect herself from Virh. He stood over her looking at her, thinking what his next action would be. He squatted down close to Commander Hope's ear.
"I am only doing this because I love you." He whispered into her ear.
Commander Hope tensed her muscles as Virh wrapped his arms around the Commander. He held her tight for several seconds before he let her go, kissing her on the forehead as he stood up.
"I am sorry my dear, but I must to be off. Duty calls." He said turning around in the cell and walking out.
Virh stood next to one of the guards, as the other activated the force field on the cell.
"I need her to be a bit stronger when I come back. Replicate her some...human food," He said shaking at the thought of eating human food, "Bread and water I believe it is called."
Virh sat down in the next cell, laying down on the bed. He waited like a hunter for his next chance to strike.

Jason was just finishing checking over Theice when, out of the corner of his eye, he saw Michael bolted upright, an expression of bewilderment on his face. "Something's wrong," he said, "something's terribly wrong." He wasn't looking at Jason, yet he didn't seem to be looking at anything in particular, either.
Jason came over to him. "What is it, Michael?" he asked.
Michael looked at him, and then around at Sickbay, as if trying to locate the source. "I'm not sure, but I feel something's wrong."
It's a good thing I paid attention in Psychology, Jason thought to himself. "Where? Within the ship? Somewhere nearby?" he asked, trying to guide Michael.
He shook his head. "I'm not sure. It's feels close, but doesn't seem to be anything nearby. I can't explain it," he said, still staring across the room.
This can't be telepathic, Jason thought to himself. He's human. So what could.....oh. He realized what it was. "Michael, is it your bond with S'reena? Is something wrong with S'reena?" he asked, trying to encourage Michael to open up.
"Ye..Yes," he said, seemingly breathless. "She's in pain....fearful....frustrated....angry. She needs help," he said, finally looking directly at Jason for the first time. He then looked past Jason at Theice. "Him!" he said in rage, trying to move towards Theice. "Why is he here?!"
Jason needed every ounce of his strength to hold Michael. "Michael....Michael!" he said, as Michael tried to manuever around Jason. "Remember to Oath! We're supposed to provide help to anyone who needs it."
Michael lost energy, and dropped back down on the bed as if exhausted. He glared at Theice's unconscious form. "Still doesn't mean I have to like it...."

Daya had been listening to the many different converstion that had been going on around the bridge, he heard sensor sweeps coming up negative, he heard the beeps of console buttens being pressed, what got his attention the most was when Kirk announced the Hanson was a dead stop, about ten hours away.
Daya smiled to himself as he prepared as best he could, he already had part of the phaser systems ready to go, and the photon torpedos were ready at the touch of a button.
Daya was surprised how much he had forgotten about his ribs already, all the excitement had made his lose track of any wounds he had, though he was visibly tired.
"It'll be good to sleep to rest when we get back on the Hanson" He said to anyone who was listening. Looking around, he noticed that most of the others were deeply incased in their own areas, doing what ever they could to stay busy and keep awake, it had been a long journay in a short time.
With one last look around, Daya went back to work on the console, checking the systems at his command.

The cacophony was deafening. Karynn couldn’t hear herself think above the noise of the crying children. She had been almost near sleep herself so it was with great effort she hauled her carcass out of her semi-recline on the very comfortable couch and retrieved Amilea. Rocking her and patting her back she walked to the other two, trying to talk to them above the noise yet not so loud as to frighten the baby in her arms. Several ear-shattering minutes passed and still they howled. Clearly frustrated, Karynn groaned and said rhetorically, “I was wondering when they would begin torturing me – this must be it.”
As if her words had conjured it into being, three guards bustled into the quarters. Quickly, Amilea was wrenched from her as the other two gripped McCormick’s arms like a powerful vice. Frightened and wide-eyed, the children increased the decibel level of their cries to unbearable. Karynn, helpless to do anything, desperately tried to appear calm and speak reassuringly as she was dragged away. The last image she had of them seared into her mind’s eye as the door was closing. Three small, innocent children, frightened for their lives, reached for her simultaneously, pleading to be rescued as the remaining guard roughly gathered them up, taking them to who knew where. McCormick was surprised by the lump in her throat and the tears welling in her eyes. She’d known these three little ones for so short a time and yet, they had each entwined themselves around the Admiral’s heart.
McCormick never saw the blinking indicator on the computer’s console alerting her of a message.
“If I find out they’ve been harmed in any way, each and every one of you will pay dearly,” she said venomously, fighting against their hold on her.
The two guards laughed. “A hollow threat from someone who is our hostage,” one said with a smirk.
Expecting to be taken to the brig, she found herself in sickbay instead. Silently, she wished a thousand times over it had been the brig. Karynn’s foreboding feeling was realized when a Romulan dressed in Star Fleet surgical garb entered.
“Place her here,” he ordered, and the guards wrestled Karynn to the biobed and strapped her down tightly with the restraints. He observed her with a perverted grin as she lay there helpless, face flushed and her brow wet with perspiration. “So you are the formidable Admiral McCormick?” he sneered. “I’m definitely not impressed.” Leisurely, he began picking up surgical instruments, pretending to study them carefully when he was, in fact, parading them in front of Karynn for dramatic effect. It was working for the tools were not Star Fleet medical issue, but Romulan in design and clearly built for inflicting pain. McCormick fought against the abject fear welling up within her.
“Pardon me for not introducing myself,” he said in mock chivalry, “I’m Aehkhifv; translated into your language, my name is pain.” He nearly laughed aloud at his own joke. “I’ll be operating on you. Don’t worry, I’ve performed this operation many times before and haven’t lost a patient… in a day or two, at least.”
Desperately vying for a way to buy time, Karynn asked, “Isn’t standard procedure to question a prisoner first? I mean, I had a little chat earlier with your sub-commander but I’d hardly classify it as an interrogation…”
Paying her no heed, Aehkhifv picked up a small computer chip with a tweaser-like instrument. With a note of glee in his serpent-like voice he said, “After this is implanted in your brain, you’ll tell us everything quite willingly. Of course, after a week or two you’ll be more a vegetable than a human, but by that time, we will have enough valuable information to formulate an attack on your… Starbase Conqueror.”

The last gesture left S'reena utterly confused. Loved her? She still sat in the corner hugging her legs to her chest, afraid to move even a millimeter. She couldn't believe what was happening to her. Looking up, she saw one of the guards, who had also dragged her down from the bridge, enter the cell carrying a tray of bread and a jug of water.
"Easy now," he said softly, kneeling down to her level as she inched away from him. "You need the strength, here let me help you." The look on his face told S'reena that the guard didn't entirely agree with Virh's interrogation methods, but that there was nothing he could do about it. Gently, the guard helped her sip water from a cup and dipped the bread into the water to make it easier for her to swallow.
"Thank you," S'reena whispered, sipping at the cup carefully. She was thankful not to have to chew the bread, as her jaws were hurting. "My children, are they all right?" she asked softly, gazing up at the guard hopefully, "please tell me they are?"
The guard remained silent. "I can't answer that, I'm sorry."
S'reena glanced down at her feet, tears welling up in her eyes. She shook the guard off as he dipped the corner of a sheet in the water and started cleaning her up. "Go away," she murmured, wanting desperately to be left alone.
After the guard had left, she struggled out of her uniform jacket, which had gone stiff with dried blood as well as her boots because her feet were hurting. She pulled herself up to the bench and curled up, trying to sleep. She was sure she was going to have to take every opporunity she got to just do that.
~~
The guard set down the tray and the jug and left. It was the end of his duty shift anyway, but there was somthing he needed to do first. When he walked down to his quarters, he saw a guard wrestling with three small children. "I'll take them," he said, and the other guard thankfully dumped them into his arms.
"They're devils," he growled, "crying and crying, they won't stop!"
The guard smiled, remembering his own small children, which were killed along with his wife in a domestic fire when he was away on a mission. He took the children, and instantly they were reasonably quiet. "I'll take them somewhere safe," he announced, then carried them off to engineering.
"You have an additional task," he announced, setting the two smallest children on Bates' lap. "See that they remain cared for, their mother is injured and cannot do so." With that he gave the simple hint that something was very wrong. The guard knew they could never keep the Hanson, and the way things were going now he was doing the honourable thing in hinting at Bates that something was indeed wrong and that he needed to be careful.

ooc: Michael and S'reena are just married, not bonded. Neither are telepathically inclined.
Michael sighed as he rubbed his eyes. "Tell me we are on our way to retake the hanson." His glare told Black that he wouldn't take no for an answer. He then pointed at Theice. "Oath or not, if anything has happened to my family I'll kill him!"

After Kirk informed Felix that they would intercept the Hanson in 10 hours at their present speed he felt relief the Romulans most likely managed to burn out the engines or Cmdr. Bates managed to sabotage the ship. Whatever the reason is, it would prove as a positive things and would make their job easier.
"Sir I'm receiving a message from SB Conqueror, from Commodore One over the emergency channel.", Kirk said
"Put it on screen cadet", Felix said
"It is text only sir"; Kirk replied
"Well then read it", Felix said
"It says that they have dispatched 2 ships to intercept the USS Hanson, the USS Black Hawk and the USS Noland. They will intercept the Hanson in 12 hours", Kirk said
Well this is unexpected Felix thought, but they still had the time to take the Romulans by surprise before the cavalry arrives.
"Thank you, cadet"; Felix said as he pressed the comm. system button to contact engineering
=/\=Cadet Parson, lt. Bates this is the bridge, I need you to give me everything you can from the warp engines, we have located the Hanson=/\=, Felix said
<Tag Parson>
After that was done he turned his attention back to the main screen. This ship did not have a planning room or a meeting room, so he would need to ask for plans and ideas right there on the bridge. He left the comm. line with engineering open so that Bates and Parson can take part in it as well.
"Soon we will be intercepting the USS Hanson, and we need a plan of action if we intend to take her and the hostages back safe and sound. I'd like to hear suggestions and ideas from all of you", he said referring to both the cadets and instructors

Bates woke the next morning, and sat himself up in bed. He hadn't bother to take off his uniform, suspicious that the Romulans would wake him in the middle of the night with a task for him.
He pulled his boots on, and hefted himself into his chair. Checking to make sure the transporter equipment was still tucked in the pocket of the chair, he rolled off towards Engineering.
"Mornin' boys," he said to the guards outside his door, who fell in step behind him as he left his quarters.
When he reached Engineering, he carefully scrutinized the data logs for Engineering. He had to make sure the Romulan "engineers" hadn't sabotaged anything during the night. Fortunately, they had not. He had just started a Level 4 diagnostic of the power systems when a guard came into Engineering, with three small children in tow.
He placed the two smallest ones on Bates' lap. "You have an additional task," he announced, setting the two smallest children on . See that they remain cared for, their mother is injured and cannot do so." He hinted that something was wrong, and left.
Bates looked at the older child in his lap, and the one standing next to him. They were part-Romulan. Given that the guard had mentioned that their mother was injured, he gathered that they were Commander Hope's daughters. He looked at the third child, standing next to him. "And who's child might you be?" he asked with a smile.
"I'm Kahlan. My mommys the First Officer," she said timidly. Yes, so this is Commander Hope's daughter, Noah thought to himself. "Or at least she was, before these people came," she said, looking around at the Romulans present. "Who are you?" she asked him.
"I'm Commander Bates, the Chief Engineer," he said, then leaned in and whispered, "Don't worry, I'm a Starfleet Officer. We'll get your daddy back, and the rest of the crew too." He sat back up, turning to his guards. "I'll take them to my Office. I can work from there as well. Follow me, Kahlan." he said, and reached around the other two to push his chair carefully forward. His Romulan guards followed him.
He wheeled into his Office. The guards took positions near the door. "Computer, lock down the consoles in this room. Access on my permission only. Authorization Bates Pi Omicron Tungsten."
He then turned to the older child in his lap. "Is this your sister?" he asked Kahlan.
"This is my sister Yarna," she said quietly, pointing to the other child. "Can you really get my daddy back?"
Each child looked a little scared. "I'm certainly going to try. Computer, play some soothing Celtic music." Slow, soothing flute and bagpipe music came on. Well, Bates found it soothing anyway.

"Sir, do we know how many Romulans are on board the Hanson, we could do the same thing they did to us, kind of anyway. We could send in Myself, Cadet Kirk, and Commander Akleth, maybe a few more, send us into a place where no Romulans are at at the moment, and try taking the ship back by force, leaving the rest of you to give us a distraction."
Daya looked over at Kirk, then back at the Commander, he wasn't sure if this was his emotions talking, or if he had actually meant on taking the ship back like that, but at the moment, it seemed no one else was putting up any suggestions.
Commander Savali spoke up at that moment, " you are injured, i do not think it would be wise for you to go"
"i know I may not be the best choice to go, looking at the condition i am in, but i am wiling to go anyway, if the others will have me that is" Daya again looked at Kirk, then over at Commander Akleth.

Kirk stood for a second, listening to Daya. He understood the need for action Daya was suggesting, but he felt a more subtle approach might be a better course of action.
"Sir," Kirk said speaking up quickly after Daya, "I do agree with Daya , but I think we could be a bit more covert about our approach."
"How so Cadet?"
"Well sir, the Hanson was suffering from an unknown sensor problem, we could use that same weakness as the Romulan's had done with us. We are now in control of a cloaked ship. I suggest we beam over small teams into low security areas, like cargo holds, or right transporter rooms. Each team will have a specific part of the ship they much capture. The best part is, we are Starfleet officers. The intruder alarms will not sound when we beam over."

When Commander Savaili asked the cadets to give him there opinions T'Brel was the last to respond. Cadet Kirk and Daya responded almost immediately. T'Brel did agree with the reasoning that they needed to take back the Hanson by force, but there was a problem in that plan. That of course were the Romulans. If they sent security officer to take the Hanson by force there could be a long casualty report.
"Cadet T'Brel what are you thought?" Commander Savili asked.
"Well sir I do agree with the two cadets, but it is imperative that we modify it a tad bit. If we send our forces firing, there is a real chance that they could end up dead. I don't know about anyone here, but I don't want to see anyone dead around here," T'Brel said.
"Do you have anything in mind then?" Daya asked T'Brel. It took T'Brel a few seconds to come up with the answer, he didn't think that they would listen to a navigation cadet, but this was part of being a Starfleet officer.
"Well sir, we have to have a diversion, we need to keep there focus on the ship rather than the possibilty of us transporting over our forces. Like Cadet Kirk said the alarms won't sound since we're Starfleet personal," T'Brel said.
"Is this Raptor even at battle readiness?" Commander Savili asked.
"Well I know that the raptor is at 85% readiness, and that can just improve as we continue with repairs. Also this ship may be a tad older than other ships, but it will hold in battle. The only problem is that we have to keep the Hanson weapons away from the navigational array because if it goes down there is no back up and were dead in the water," T'Brel explained to everyone on board.
"Okay thanks everyone for you input I'll inform you of my decision in a couple of minutes," Commander Savili said. T'Brel hoped that he would take some of his recommendations, but didn't put to much hope into it, he was a navigational cadet after all.
"Do you think we will take the Hanson without any casualties?" T'Brel abruptly asked Cadet Kirk. It seemed to T'Brel that the question had shocked Kirk a bit. T'Brel had not been very blunt when talking to the other cadets.

"Do you think we will take the Hanson without any casualties?" T'Brel abruptly asked Cadet Kirk. It seemed to T'Brel that the question had shocked Kirk a bit. T'Brel had not been very blunt when talking to the other cadets.
Kirk turned and looked at Commander Savali who had heard T'Brel's words, Savali looked on with interest as he wanted to hear this conversation first hand.
"Based on the amount of work Commander Harash-Kyat and I put into the life support system, I can say with confidence that we greatly out number the Romulans on board the Hanson."
T'Brel did not seem convinced with the information Kirk was presenting him with.
"Look," Kirk continued, "I feel a covert operation is going to be needed here, we should not go in with our guns blazing because they will simply raise shields and cut off our reinforcements. Also if we attack or decloak we will cause them to raise shields and our plan will be foiled. I don't feel this ship has a chance to with stand a direct attack from the Hanson."
Kirk turned to Daya, "Daya, what do you figure our chances are if we attack the Hanson?"

Commander Savali left the discussion to the Cadets as he left the circle and began to ponder the situation from a senior officers stand point.

------------------USS Hanson---------------------
Virh watched as the guard brought Commander Hope the bread and water he had ordered the guard to bring. He was always curious to know what it was like in the mind of one of his conversation partners.
Virh could sense Commander Hope's strength, it was clear as space was cold. Even though she appeared to be weakened he knew deep down inside she had fire, and strength. Virh knew it came from her children, but those were off limits to him, he never hurt a child. As cold blooded of a man as he was, children were sacred to him.
It had been fifteen years since his sister was killed by a man who claimed to be an officer of the Empire. This man had a fancy for young Romulan girls, the authorities found her brutally beaten to death. The authorities also noticed the killer cut off her ears as keep sakes.
Hearing the rustle of clothing Virh quietly placed his ear on the wall and listened as Commander Hope removed he jack. Virh knew this was going to be a battle to crack this woman. He quickly decided that a mental attack would be the best approach and just as she fell asleep would provide the perfect time.

When the cadets finished their discussion it was time for Felix to let them know what they were going to do.
"All of you have good ideas on how to proceed however you all seem to be forgetting one thing. The USS Hanson is our ship which means we know its strengths and weaknesses and therefore have an advantage over the Romulans.", he said, "So here is what we are going to do, Cadet Kirk you and cmdr. Harash-kyat are to tap into the Hanson’s main computer when we are in range and convince it that it has detected the Omega molecule", he said
<Tag Kirk>
"And that will disable their shields, weapons, sensors, propulsion", he paused, "Giving us an advantage", he resumed, "After that is done we will beam several teams on board to locations on which the sensors do not detect any Romulans, and in the meantime we will beam Admiral McCormick, cmdr. Bates and the children back to this ship as their life signs will be different from the Romulans and we will be able to get a lock. Cadet Daya you will be in charge of the transport operation as I will not risk by sending you injured over to the Hanson. Also if we fail in transporting one of these people to this ship the away team's first priority will be to find them and ensure their safety.", he continued
<Tag Daya, everyone>
"The following people will be on the teams, Team 1, cadet Kirk, Commander Harash-kyat, Lt. Noland and Lt.jg. Jeffries. Team 2, cadet Nokomis, Cmdr. Akleth, lt. Cmdr. Sloan, lt. Martinson, Team 3, Cadet T'Brel, commander Gordon, ensign Korval, lt. Johnson.", he paused, "Myself, cadet Daya, Cmdr. McCormick cadet Parson, lt. Bates dr. Black and Dr. Hope will stay on this ship and provide a distraction in case the Romulans managed to crack Admiral McCormick into giving them her command codes. Now when you are on there you are to shoot on sight, do not let the Romulans raise an alarm, you see them you shoot them and stun them. Am I clear?"; he said
<Tag T'Brel, Nokomis, Kirk>
"Good, your objectives once you are on the Hanson are as follows: secure the bridge, main engineering, sickbay locate commander Hope, and take care of any Romulans you might encounter wandering around the ship, also do not forget to inform us when you accomplish one of the tasks at hand. Good luck to you all", he said, "Now we still have several hours till we reach the Hanson, use that time to get ready for the attack.", he finished
<Tag all>
--Several hours later--
"Sir we have arrived to the location of the Hanson"; T'Brel said
"Alright cadet, drop out of warp and get us bellow them", Felix said, "Everyone get ready to put the plan into motion."
<Tag Everyone>

(OOC: A little backposting here. I was giving Parson a chance to post)
"Cadet Parson, Lt. Bates I hope those inertial dampeners are functioning properly or this will be one rough ride", he said
"Aye sir," Bates said. "Inertial dampeners should be functional now." Mike heard a sound behind him. He turned, and Cadet Parson was climbing out of the service passageway. "Nice timing, Cadet. We're just about to enter Warp."
As they went to Warp, they were thrown off-balance slightly. Mike hit the comm-circuit. "Sorry about that, Commander. There was a small error in the Dampeners. Correcting now," he said.
A few minutes later, they got another comm call. =/\=Cadet Parson, Lt. Bates this is the bridge, I need you to give me everything you can from the warp engines, we have located the Hanson=/\=
"Aye, sir." Bates said, nodding to Parson. They both went to seperate stations: Bates to Power distribution, Parson to Warp diagnostic. They prepped the systems. They both nodded to each other, and Bates said. "You've got it whenever you need, Commander."
Am I clear?" Felix asked.
"Acknowledged, Commander," Bates said once more. Apparently Savali didn't realized he'd hit the comm-circuit.
-------------------------------Sickbay-------------------------------
Michael sighed as he rubbed his eyes. "Tell me we are on our way to retake the hanson." His glare told Black that he wouldn't take no for an answer. He then pointed at Theice. "Oath or not, if anything has happened to my family I'll kill him!"
Almost in response, Commander Savali's voice came over the comm. Am I clear?"
Jason looked at Michael. "That sufficient answer for you?" he asked

"Honestly Kirk, if we went ship to ship, out chance would be slim at best, even with the claok. They would be able to find us by monitoring where our phasers and torpedos were being fired from."
"Cadet Daya you will be in charge of the transport operation as I will not risk by sending you injured over to the Hanson. Also if we fail in transporting one of these people to this ship your first priority will be to find them and ensure their safety.", he continued
"Aye Sir" Daya listened to Commander Savali, and understood what he meant by his not going on board the Hanson.
Am I clear?"; he said
Daya had gotten himself down to the transporter room, and had begun working on the systems by the time they arrived at the Hanson. Daya watched as the engineers gave him more power so he would be able to bring more people over.
=^= Cadet Daya to Commander Savali, transporters are standing by=^=
OFF: Savali explained more what he meant to me, so i had to modify just a tad

(OFF: Sorry about the lack of posts, computer trouble had me incommunicado)
Parson looked back down at his console. Something caught his eye. "Lieutenant Bates," he called out, "Take a look at the transporter power junction readings."
"I see it too cadet. We'll have to divert power from main engines if we're going to transport that many people over. I certainly hope we wont need to make any evasive actions imediatly after transfer."
"Indeed. Diverting...now. I'll try to put some auxilliary power into the cloak's electromagnetic dampeners to help hide the transport signal. Then again, I have a sneaking suspicon that the Hanson's sensors aren't working at full efficiency."
"You figure our people are undermining the Romulan's efforts?"
"Well, let's hope so."

Harash-kyat stood by Bates and Parsons beside the Transporter console. "It should work fine now" he grunted, "looks like" Bates agreed, "But as Parsons says we'll need a lot of power." "In that case do us in groups. Fast, re-initialise the minute we re-materialise" "That risks signal degradation and that we transport people into those before them." "Its a risk, but we'll just have to move off the minute we materialise." They were interrupted by a hail from the bridge. "This is Savali, we are approaching the Hanson, All teams prepare to disembark, and good luck"
Harash-kyat looked round and found Kirk, "Get ready Cadet we're going over. Okay?"
<Tag Kirk>
Noland and Jeffries appeared beside them, handing each a phaser. "Leave the firefights to us" Noland stated arrogantly, "You just keep your heads down and do your techy stuff" Harash-kyat took the weapon and held it as if it were a deadly snake. "You ll do as I say Liuetenant" he replied haughtily to the security officer, "And have no fears - You ll be taking the lead." "Okay everyone. Team One on the Pads" Parsons called. Kirk, Harash-kyat, Noland and Jeffries all stepped up. "Decloaking in 1-2..." came the count from the bridge, Parsons matched it with his own count, "Energising in 1-2..." On 3 the transprter room dissolved around Harash-kyat and was replaced by a quiet sub corridor on the Hanson. "Okay Team 2 step up" Bates ordered.
***
Noland and Jeffries quickly took up positiosn, "Corridor clear" "Get out the way fool. Or ele team 2 will materialise inside you" Startled Noland jumped forward. "Okay lets get this over with. As you and me Kirk are the Ops officers I suggest we secure Engineering. Noland you ll lead. We can expect stiff resistance" he shuddered fearful of teh conflict ahead - something he was very much unaccostomed too.

Kirk was pleased with the Commander's knowledge of sensor ghosting. It was the perfect way to prevent the Hanson from mounting a defensive against the aging Klingon ship.
"Now when you are on there you are to shoot on sight, do not let the Romulans raise an alarm, you see them you shoot them and stun them. Am I clear?"; Savali said.
"Yes sir." Replied the group of Cadets standing in front of Commander Savali.
After a few more hours the D-7 was now in range of the Hanson.
"Commander, we are now in range to tap into the sensors of the Hanson." Kirk announced to Commander Savali.
"Proceed Cadet."
Harash-Kyat and Kirk worked quickly to begin the remote quirry process from the old D-7. Harash-Kyat finally linked with the Hanson computer, "I am in sir." He informed, "Command code accepted by the Hanson. We are ready."
Commander Savali nodded as he waited for the two officers to finish.
"Omega Particle has popped up on the Hansons sensors. Shields, weapons, sensors, and propulsion now offline sir." Kirk informed Commander Savali.
"Good, proceed to the transporter room."
Kirk now found his way to the transporter room. There was a part of him who wanted Daya to come along, but he did understand Commander Savali positions. He had began to feel close to Daya; given what they had been through already on this mission. Making new friends was something Kirk was not used to; but he welcomed the change.
Stepping in through the doors into the transporter room Kirk spotted Harash-Kyat, "Get ready Cadet we're going over. Okay?"
"Yes sir."
Kirk was taken back by the words from his instructor. He sounded rather confident about boarding the Hanson, it seemed years of training were just kicking in for the Grazerite.
Standing on the transporter pad T'Brel's words came back to him, Do you think we will take the Hanson without any casualties?". His more than confident answer was starting to fade away as the situation was now becoming more real.
The transporter system came to life surrounding each officer with the magic red glow of the Klingon system. The team rematerialized with in the familiar surroundings of the Hanson. A sudden feeling of being home came upon Kirk as made sure to check behind the team for any Romulans.
"Alright lets get moving." Lt. Noland said, starting to head off around the corridor.
"Hold on a second." Kirk said moving to a wall console.
Kirk quickly worked on the console to get a good idea where they were. Checking the console he relaxed a bit when the only life signs on this deck were the four of them.
"This deck is clean." He said going back to the console to finish checking for alternative routes into Engineering.
Pointing at the console the team moved in closer, "We are one deck above the top most part of engineering. If we go back two sections we can crawl along this jeffries tube, climb down this shaft, and enter engineering here though this jeffries tube." kirk said pointing the path out with his finger on the schematic display on the console.
Just behind them the second team beamed in, Commander Akleth took his team and ran off down the corridor to acomplish their mission.
"Sounds fine. Let get moving then." Lt. Noland ordered.
After several minutes of crawling and climbing the team entered the upper most section of engineering. Looking around Kirk easily spotted the massive warp core, listening to its hum as it proceeded through its cycles.
The team carefully looked over the rail and down on engineering, spotting two rather bored looking Romulans standing on each side of the door to main engineering.
Lt. Noland turned around and faced his squad, "Here is what we are going to go. You two," Pointing to Harash-kyat and Kirk, "move around to the other side of engineering. Once in place position yourself in a good place to shoot the guard on the right. Jeffries and myself are going to down behind that wall ready to shoot the guard on the left. I want you to aim and wait until I fire first. Understood?"
Kirk nodded along with Commander Harash-Kyat.
"Good."
Kirk and Harash-Kyat headed out towards the ladder on the other side of the core. They climbed down two sets before they reached the main floor on engineering. Kirk thought it would be best to take up the firing position, he did not get an objection from Harash-Kyat. Looking across the room he spotted Lt. Noland and Jeffries already in position and ready to fire. Kirk propped himself up again a console and prepared to fire. The anticipation of a fire fight had started to send sweat running down his brow as he waited for Lt. Noland to open fire.

ooc: joint post S'reena Hope and Virh (Jonathan Kirk)
Virh was still sitting in the cell next to Commander Hope when a bruised and bloody guard came running into the brig. Virh took immediate notice of the guard and jumped to his feet.
"Report."
"Sir, the, the Federation has sent over boarding parties to retake the ship. They have already over taken the engine room. We don't know how many there are."
Virh grabbed the guard with both his hands, "Do what ever you have to, but do NOT let them in here. I cannot have any interuptions while I am in the middle of a conversation."
The guard shook his head in response. Virh tossed the man aside and walked towards the cell opening. He signaled for the guard to shut off the force field.
S'reena was so fast asleep, at last, that she didn't even hear the distinct snapping sound of a forcefield being deactivated.
"I am afraid my dear our conversation has been cut short by your treachery" Virh said holding the knife he had stabbed into the wall. "What do the humans say? You always hurt the one you love?" He said approaching Commander Hope, while resheathing his blade.
S'reena woke up by the sudden voice that sounded behind her, and she tensed as she recognized the voice. "My loved ones are already hurt," she whispered, while slowly turning around, "they were hurt when they found out I was joining the hi-jackers. And I doubt they will ever forgive me."
Virh looked down at the officer, he had never had any of his conversations interrupted. Grabbing Commander Hope by her shirt he lifted her up to eye level with him.
"I had a surprise for you, but I guess your just going to have to die."
Commander Hope was shocked to find out Virh was much stronger than he looked. She did not get the chance to ponder that thought very long as Virh slammed her backside into the cell wall above the bed. Commander Hope lost what breath she had in her lungs with the impact to the walls. Virh had become more inraged with every second of this final confrontation with 'evil'.
Dropping Hope to the bed he began to throw wild punches trying to land them where ever he could.
S'reena gasped for breath as she desperately tried to fend the much stronger Romulan off. She pulled up her legs and curled up into a fetal position as she tried to protect herself. She winced as a punch landed squarely on her already injured shoulder, but she didn't cry out. She fought to keep from screaming as she didn't want to give him that satisfaction. At one point, she managed to lash out herself and caught him in his right hamstring with her left foot. She grimaced satisfactorily as she heard him gasp in pain even though it sent up a jolt of pain up her own leg. It was worth the pain.
Virh stumbled back from Hope letting his leg regain its strength. He smiled coldly as he felt the pain disapate from his leg, and the adrenaline pump through out his body. "Phasers are such inpersonal weapons. That is why I prefer my knife."
Stepping forward he grabbed her, pulled her to her feet and spun her around so her backside was pressed against his chest. He wrapped his left arm around her waist, restraining her arms to her side. Virh took a second to smell her hair before he began to whisper in her ear.
"All good things must come to an end."
Virh quickly stabbed his knife into Hope's abdomen, pulling it out just as fast as he thrust it in. Letting go of her body he watched as she slowly sank to the floor. Satisfied with his results he turned and walked out of the cell.
"Watch her. Make sure she dies." Virh said to the guard before leaving the brig.
S'reena gasped, as all colour drained from her face, which was contorted with shock and pain. Eyes widening, she gazed at the Romulan, who turned his back on her, snapped something at the guard who had brought her food earlier. Slowly, she sank to the deck as she folded her hands over the bleeding wound trying desperately to staunch the bleeding. She also knew that infliction of a wound like this could take the victim days to die due to internal bleedings.
Her vision blackened as she felt herself being caught and carried over to the bench. Security guard Tafv slowly eased the severely and near to fatally wounded woman on the bench, frowning as he looked her over. There was nothing he could do to help her, but stay and keep an eye on her. He couldn't bring her to sickbay, because they would surely kill her instantly, and he couldn't take her to either of the other prisoners either. At last, he sat beside her and eased her head onto his lap, while he helped her apply pressure to the injury, even though she was now unconscious.

The three children seemed to calm down somewhat with the Celtic music. They still looked a little uncertain and scared, which was understandable given that they didn't even know Bates.
Kahlan was looking at one of the consoles, poking at it. She must have been puzzled that it wasn't doing anything. She looked at him. "Cumm, um..."
He smiled. "Just called me Noah," he said. It was a heck of a lot easier to say than Commander or Bates.
"Okay Noah. It isn't working," she said, poking the console again.
"I know, I turned it off," he said, rolling over, being careful of Amelia and Yarna, still on his lap.
"Why?" she asked simply.
"Because I don't need them right now. I'm busy playing with you," he said, and tickled her side. She squealed, and hug his legs. This is one of those things I've missed out on in life, he thought to himself. Children of my own....
He put the other two girls down, and picked up Kahlan, hugging her. Suddenly, there was a commotion outside the door. The guards opened the door in time to see phaser fire rip through the room and hit a guard. The other was already hit. The guard signaled to the other, and they both leapt out of the room, only to be shoot down as well.
A Romulan ploy? To attack Bates and the children? Not knowing whether it was, he put Kahlan down. He pulled a panel off his desk, and grabbed the phaser inside the compartment. "Computer, Engineering lock-down. Authorization Bates Pi Omicron Tungsten." At that point, all of the consoles in Engineering went dark. He then turned so that he was between the children and the door. "Stay behind me," he said to them.
He set the phaser on wide-beam, so he could quickly take down anyone necessary. Two men rushed in, pointing phasers. Bates raised his own, pointing it at them, but then realized they were Starfleet Officers, including Cadet Kirk.
He lowered the phaser. "Boy, am I glad to see you guys."

T'Brel was pleased to know that some precautions were taking place. The idea of using the Omega Protocol was genius. As Team 1 and Team 2 beamed on board the Hason, T'Brel started having as humans would call it butterflies.
No sooner than thinking the worse it was time for T'Brel's team to beam to the Hanson. T'Brel was glad that his instructor was going with him. As soon as they were ready, T'Brel and his team were transported. His team was in charge of securing sickbay. T'Brel and his team quickly made their way to wards sickbay.
After about a minute of walking to wards sickbay, the team came upon two romulan guards. T'Brel didn't let them get the chance to fire first so he aimed the phaser quickly at the nearest guard. The Romulan fell quickly and the other one screamed out something before he was hit by Lt. Johnson.
"Good shot Lt." T'Brel said honestly impressed, but the peace didn't last long. The shout alerted the other Romulans in sickbay and they two of them came out firing. T'Brel had to quickly move out of the way so he could avoid the phaser fire. The team continued to fire and quickly took out the first wave of attacking Romulans.
As the team made its way into sickbay they were met with a barrage of phaser fire. The first volley found the chest Ensign Korval. T'Brel quickly went to check his fallen crew mate. He was glad to hear a weak pulse, but at least it was there.
"How is he?" Commander Gordon asked.
"He's still alive," T'Brel said as he once again started to fire. Luckily for T'Brel he hit the closest attacking Romulan and for a couple of seconds they could think of a plan. They didn't have much time to do that thinking, but that was all T'Brel needed.
"Computer activate emergency medical hologram," T'Brel said as he fired back.
"What is the status of the medical emergency?" the doctor chimed.
"Doctor the Hanson has been taken over by enemy forces, we need your help to take out these Romulans," T'Brel said as he hit the other Romulan. There were still 4 Romulans in sickbay, but it really wasn't sickbay anymore. There were phaser blast everywhere and stations were exploding all over them. The doctor went to work and took out the first Romulan, by injecting him with some unknown medication.
"Doctor could you work faster," Lt. Johnson screamed before he was hit in the chest with multiple phaser blast. Lt. Johnson flew back until the wall of sickbay stopped him. T'Brel automatically knew that Lt. Johnson was dead, this was what he had feared.
It was just Commander Gordon, T'Brel, and the doctor against three romulans. Before T'Brel could react and fire back he was hit in the shoulder by a phaser fire. The pain was excruciating, and tears of pain came to T'Brel's eyes. Still T'Brel didn't stop firing until he was sure that they had taken sickbay. Luckliy for T'Brel he didn't have to wait long, the doctor had come up behind the two remaining romulans and injected them with something.
=^=Sickbay is ours=^= T'Brel reported back to the Raptor.
=^=Is everyone okay?=^=
=^=I'm sorry to report that Lt. Johnson is dead, and Ensign Korval is seriously injuried=^=
=^=Understood. Treat your injuries and keep sickbay under our control=^=
=^=Aye sir=^=

Kirk was watching ahead, the two guards had not moved since Noland's teams got into position. Finally Noland broke the silence of the room and dropped the guard on the left, Kirk wasted no time dropping the second.
All four men started to carefully make their way towards the main engineering stations near the entrance when two more guards suddenly appeared from the stations they were trying to work on. Commander Harash-Kyat and Lt. Jeffries had stayed a bit behind Kirk and Noland to provide any cover that might be needed. They fired without hesitation at each of the guards, both falling with out a chance to raise their weapons.
Commander Harash-Kyat and Lt. Jeffries quickly came up to join Kirk and Noland as they were getting ready for whatever was inside the engineers officer. Kirk nodded to Noland right before they charged the room. Rushing in through the doors they found Commander Bates and three small children. Something they did not expect to find, but were more than happy they were not armed Romulan guards.
Bates lowered his phaser, "Boy, am I glad to see you guys."
Kirk and Noland lowered their phasers and began to smile at the Commander.
"We are glad to see you too Commander." Kirk said.
Stepping out of the officer Kirk tapped his COM Badge.
"Cadet Kirk to Commander Savali."
"Go ahead Cadet."
"we have taken back Engineering, and found Commander Bates along with three small children."
"That is good new. Proceed to your next target. Savali out."
"We are going to need the second team to help take the bridge. Cadet get the second team over the com system and find out their status." Ordered Lt. Noland.
"Aye sir."
Kirk walked away from Noland and the rest of the crew before he struck his COM Badge.
"Kirk to T'Brel, we have taken Engineering, what is you situation?"

Daya had the anticipation of sending each team over to the Hanson, it was not a job he wanted, but he knew he could not do much at this point.
He himself had not wanted to send Kirk over, as he was probably the closest thing to a friend he had at the moment, "Good luck" he said before he beamed the teams over
After all the teams had been sent over, He got a call from Commander Savali,
=^= Bridge to Daya, they have located Commander Bates and three children, at Kirks location=^= Daya smiled when he heard Kirk was okay, and had found one of the missing commanders
=^= Aye Sir, beaming up=^=
Daya smiled as he saw the engineering commander and the three children materialize in front of him.
"Hello sir, Cadet Daya at your service" He nodded at the commander then waited for more officers to beam a board

Aehkhifv closed the incision near the ear of his patient and smiled into the unconscious face of the Admiral. “Because of your weak, human physiology, I’ll have to give you a few hours to recuperate.” He whirled around to one of his subordinates. “Tell Virh he’ll have a new prisoner to interrogate in a two hours.” His message sent to Virh, Aehkhifv left to tell Arrhae personally that his work was finished. He stepped into what was the CMO’s office and opened a comm. channel to the bridge. His attention was diverted from his task as the doors to sickbay whisked open and several Starfleet personnel burst in laying down a trail of phaser shots as they entered. Aehkhifv desperately tried to alert the bridge but nothing he tried seemed to be working. Soon, the entire medical bay erupted with continuous phaser fire. Ducking behind McCormick’s biobed, he removed his own weapon and began to fire from his protected position. Satisfaction flooded over him as he saw his first shot sink into the chest of one human. The blast knocked the human backwards and pinned him against the bulkhead. Aehkhifv, living up to his Romulan name, continued to fire into the wounded man until it was clear he was dead. Then, as he trained his weapon on his next victim, Aehkhifv felt a small amount of pressure on the back of his neck. Wheeling around, he fired directly into the holographic image of the Doctor. Aehkhifv had only a few seconds of consciousness to see the EMH smile at him pleasantly and quip, “Missed me.” McCormick, with the mind control chip taking root in her brain, remained still and comatose throughout the firefight. Miraculously, she had escaped injury during the phaser fire exchange. However, the implanted chip was quickly entwining its malevolent biomechanical tendrils deeply within her grey matter. (OOC: Cadet Kirk has a plan to help our ailing Admiral which he can save until things are calmer – Karynn’s not going anywhere anyway. hehe!)
