Crusser escort the ambassador's body to sickbay. Dr. Brelev and Caitlin take the body in to the sickbay. He stay on the corridor and guard the door to the sickbay. Dr Belev entered the corridor and aks me.
"where I found the Hyperspay and have you saw whether the dead culprit has actually used it on the ambassador."said Brelev
“I have found the Hyperspray next to the body of the Amasador. I saw that some one used at the Ambasador. “ said Crusser.
“Please follow me .” said Brelev.
Crusser saw a body on one of the biobed.
“Is this the men who use the Hyperspray on the Ambassador” said Brelev.
“Yes, Dr. Brelev. This is the men.”said Crusser.

Brelev frowned, something was not right about this. If she only still had the body she could examine the mark from the hypospray and determine the angle of attack. The prisoner had attacked them from behind, but from what she could recall the hypospray mark was further forward....
=A=Ensign Delco to Sickbay=A=
=A=Go ahead Ensign=A= Brelev replied, not really wanting to know what she was going to have to deal with now.
=A= I need an emergency transport for to from my location to sickbay. It's cadet Mek'Tor, he's been attacked Mame and he's unconscious.=A= The Ensign replied.
"Okay, standby." Brelev turned to cadet Isis. "You take him, Michael I want you to help her." She took a deep breath and arranged the transport.
"There where two hyposprays beside him, here they are." Ensign Delco handed her the hyposprays, the one that was still half full contained a strong sedative. What the hell was going on?
"Do you think this attack is related to the Ambassador?" Ellena asked.
"Absolutely, although how I have no clue." Brelev rubbed her temples, she was not trained for this, she was a doctor not a crime scene investigator. "I need everyone who was in contact with the Ambassador in my office immediately. I want a full finger print analysis on all the hyposprays and I want to records from all crew members pulled up for comparison. Oh, and finger print the prisoner as well."
=A= Daya to sickbay, we need to work together if we are going to sort this out=A=
Fingerprints, the age old tell all of the detective trade, so old that many criminals forget about them.

Konal stood aside while T'Pren and Connor gave their reports to the Admiral. Not to her surprise, they were pretty good in their analysis.
Konal made a scan of her own. The containment was cryogenically sealed, keeping the bio-matter very very cold.
Konal questioned aloud, in her best instructor voice. "What worlds would you find cryogenic bio-matter?"
A few answers were given, but it was clear to the Admiral and Konal that there was one prevailing answer. T'Pren and Connor must have both thought of it at the same time, for in unison, they blurted "Breen!".
That seemed the most plausible, and the Admiral agreed, praising the cadets in the process.
"Why would the Breen sabotage our ship?" Konal asked, as she found some leftover celery still left in the replicator from a few days before. She tossed it out of view.
The Cadets had their theories. They seemed plausible.
"I suggest we take this to sickbay, since this is bio-matter. I would think we could confirm the Cadet's theories, and maybe find a way to neutralize the effects it has had our systems." Konal noted to the others that the lights seemed to dim in and out occasionally.

As Crystal and Tovan returned to the bridge, both of them proceeded to the Helm, which was still being manned by Tiffany. 'Welcome back Tovan. Care to join me at helms? I was wondering if you can teach me how to control my emotions? So this way I can focus on what's at hand, maybe later you and I can study up on helms, since you seem to know great deal more about them. Maybe you can teach me a thing or two?"
Tiffany was hoping that this might give her the edge to control those emotions and keep them in check.

"Oh, no! Doctor, I need to that him to my quarters!" Said Caitlin. "Okay. Go, but don't be too long." Said Hope. (OOC: Sorry for the short post. Iv'e got chocolate all over my keyboard.)

(OCC: Did someone say chocolate?)
ON: After they escorted the body of the Ambassador to sickbay, Methos went to the bridge to get a debriefing on the Rescue Mission.
Walking onto the bridge, he saw the niether the CO or XO were on the bridge. He looked at the ensign manning the tactical station and pointed to the ready room. The Ensign nodded and Methos went over and pressed the door chime.
"Enter," was all he heard. He walked in and the Admiral asked what happened. Methos told him exactly what took place on the shuttle. The admiral just nodded after Methos finished, and dismissed him.

After Tovan finished docking the Delta Flyer, he and Commander Shinsei headed up to the bridge. After the heightened action levels of the last few hours, this was a welcome respite. As he walked out onto the bridge, he noticed that Tiffany was at the helm. Although she was his classmate, he had never really had much interaction with her, as his duties had prevented it.
"Welcome back Tovan. Care to join me at helms? I was wondering if you can teach me how to control my emotions? So this way I can focus on what's at hand, maybe later you and I can study up on helms, since you seem to know great deal more about them. Maybe you can teach me a thing or two?" she asked as he made his way down to the helm.
Tovan had noticed that Tiffany often didn't seem to have as much control as many of the other human cadets, so he could see why she may benefit from Vulcan discipline.
"To truly teach you to control your emotions would take many years of commitment. However, I could teach you some of the more basic control and meditation practices, if you would be willing to commit to it. Understand tough, the logical path can be difficult, even for Vulcans. But, if you are willing, we can begin right away."

Sickbay. Of all places. If Stephens had known it was going to be this way, he would have just stayed where he was and avoided creaking down the corridor like some ancient.
But he'd learned something. He'd learned that T'Pren was forgiving, and that was a definite plus. He'd learned that Konal Manto was a good instructor from the Platonic school, asking questions and asking questions, leading her charges to the answers rather than pedantically showing them her superior experience. And he'd learned a little something about Breen technology.
It was unlike anything he had ever seen before. Though he wasn't, by any means, a practiced master of intervention technologies, he had expected something a bit more standard than cryogenic biomatter with a cascading system for infecting a ship's power. He and T'Pren had huddled over it for a long time, heads together, eyes occasionally locking. It was as unknown and alien to her as it had been to him.
The Admiral had seemed impressed with their skills, and that was a good thing. Not so much impressing him, but having the skills that made the impression possible. Stephens smiled thinking it was a good thing his broken and marinated head hadn't dimmed his wits appreciably.
So they were off to sickbay again. To the land of escaped tribbles and troubled cadets.
Hi! Ho!

The Fleeing Cruiser – backpost...
Jim was unsure of where he was at first. He wasn’t due to rendezvous with anyone – not yet, anyway.
His hand reached to his belt where his weapon was stored – a small, hand-held device that fired a four-inch barb, and acted similarly to the ancient crossbow – and he breathed a sigh of relief to note that it was still there. He pulled it out and held it at ready...
Slowly and cautiously, Ambassador Davis explored his darkened surroundings, and reacted with a start when a voice spoke to him. Quickly he turned, aiming his weapon toward the source of the sound.
“Put that thing away,” the owner of the voice said. “You won’t be needing it here.”
Slowly a smile came to the ambassador’s face, and he lowered the weapon. He was genuinely pleased to see the owner of the voice, whom he recognized.
The shuttle aboard which he had been transported was fast putting distance between itself and the Hansen until it was discovered aboard the Federation vessel that the ambassador had been transported off then ship, and then the fleeing shuttle lost its lead.
Nearly two hours after Jim had been beamed aboard the alien shuttle, he was was informed the pilot that the Hanson’s shuttle was nearly upon them, and was introduced to his companion, a physician by trade.
The physician administered a medical dose from the hypospray he was carrying.
“There... that should do it.” In thirty minutes the drug will take effect, and should return you to your original form. It’s first effect will be to greatly slow your metabolism, causing you to black out. To all outward signs, you’ll appear deceased, and then three to four hours later, you’ll begin the transformation.”
“Good,” said Jim. “I never could get completely used to this form. It’ll be refreshing to get back to normal.”
Four Hours Later – Ambassador Davis’ Quarters...
Ambassador Davis, still looking like himself, yet somewhat paler now, slowly awakened in his quarters. He knew that the crew of the Hanson were aware that he had been returned, though they probably thought he was a corpse. The medication administered by the alien physician had done its job well, of that he was certain.
Nor did he awake any too soon. Within moments he heard footsteps approaching his direction, and lest they find him yet alive, hid himself from any that might enter.
And enter they did... S’reena Hope and Paul Drew both entered his quarters and began searching.
Slowly, Jim Davis peered from out of a closet in his quarters. He had no time for the delay these two were causing, nor for the chance that they might discover him. Somehow, he had to stop them.
The ambassador quietly drew the weapon from his belt and aimed at the two. Neither saw him do this, their backs being towards him.
Phsst! The first dart from his weapon sailed and caught Captain Drew in his lower back, and he crumpled to the floor. As S’reena turned, startled by his pained response to the ambassador’s dart, she slowly lowered him to the deck of the ambassador’s quarters, then reached up to tap her comm badge.
“S’reena to Sickbay. Emergency!”
It was all she could get out; before she could say any more, another dart flew from the ambassador, striking her full in the side. She could feel the effects of the dart. The poison with which it had been treated made her go numb, and she found it exceedingly difficult to speak. A moment later, she too was unconscious.
This was not good. That call would bring an investigator – if not from Security, surely from Sickbay. For now, he had to hide – and fast! And so he raced out of his quarters, taking up temporary hiding in a Jeffries tube.
<<S’reena, Drew, others...>>

Backpost in response to Connor;
As T'Pren and Konal stood and studied the alien device, she felt the traitorous tension in her shoulders, letting her know that she still felt a residual effect of her episode with Connor Stephens. She tried to force it to the back of her mind, and concentrate on the task at hand. Studying the device, she looked it over, and tried to remember all she had learned at the Vulcan Science Academy about such things. She could not seem to place it.
Suddenly the door opened, and Connor came into the room. He apologized to Commander Manto, for his inability fo fulfil his objectives of the current mission as expediently as he would like. She accepted the apology. Then, he turned to T'Pren.
"T'Pren, to you I owe the deepest apology. I can assure you that I am not like that. I would not willingly hurt you or compromise your integrity and dignity in such a way." Stephens paused. He was sure he was blushing. "I really like you, T'Pren."
She turned to him, and said;
"I find you a competent cadet and a fine colleague, Mr. Stephens. I also understand that your actions were not of your own volition, and that you were not maliciously intending any real harm to my integrity as a person, as a Cadet, or as a Vulcan. Therefore, I accept your apology with thanks."
That being said, she felt the traitorous tension leave her shoulders, and she was able to return to the task at hand. From time to time, she looked up to see Connor looking back. Their eyes locked, and she found herself wondering if he was finding this as fascinating as she did.
Konal and Admiral Drew began to question them as to what kind of device it was, and where it was from. T'Pren and Stephens both agreed it was Cryogenic biomatter, but the origin tickled at T'Pren's mind, just out of reach. Konal asked about what kinds of worlds something like this would be found on, and that was when T'Pren and Stephens looked at each other, and cried "Breen!"
The two cadets discussed different theories on why the Breen would sabotage the Hanson. T'Pren could not find a logical reason yet, due to insufficient data. She would wait and make a more logical decision when more information was made available to her, after having studied the device more closely.
Having heard T'Pren's pronouncement, Konal decreed that they should all return to sickbay, since the device contained biomatter. They could study it there under a containment field, with less risk to the rest of the ship.
(sorry I didn't respond to your first post, Konal, about the gelpak. hope I'm caught up now!)

Jason had finally escaped, well not really. The power had somehow been restored and he hurried to the bridge which was pratically empty. There were a few people, but most of the instructors and cadets were still in the lower decks. As he looked through the ships logs and scans he was surprised to learn everything that had happened. Things were never easy on the Hanson it seemed. "Where are Admiral Drew and Commander Hope?" Jason asked hoping to get a good answer. Knowing there track history they very well might be down in sickbay seriously injuried. "They went to Ambassador Davis's quarters," was the reply from the science officer working the station. ~Wonder why~ Jason asked himself as he tried to get more information on the crew. As he did this he couldn't help but listen to the conversation that was being held by the two helm cadets. It always amazed him that he was instrcuting people older than himselves. Then again they would be living a lot longer than he. ~Controling one's emotions isn't easy~ Jason thought as he listened to Cadet Tovan. He was pleasantly surprised to know that the cadet also understood this. "Commander Reynolds, Commander Hope just signaled sickbay about an emergency," the ops officer reported. "Reynolds to Hope, please respond," Jason said as he tried to contact the first officer. There was no reply and Jason immediately knew something was very wrong. "Reynolds to security please meet me in Ambassador Davis quarters, sickbay medical emergency," Jason said as he stood and headed towards the turbolift. "Cadet Tovan, Potter, if you wish please join me," Jason said," Commander you have the bridge." <Tag sickbay, Tovan, and Tiffany> OOC: I have decided that I will not be a bad instructor and actually post. By the way hello to all the cadets

"Yes, Sir." said Crusser.
He was very nervous and set his phaser on stun. He new that the last time, when he used his phaser. Was a good result, to use his phaser on stun.
He walk to the corridor to the Turbo Lift and entered the Turbolift. He saw Commander Reynolds in the Turbolift.
"Cadet Crusser. Security. Sir" said Crusser.

Tovan asked Crystal to confirm that the Hanson was the ship he had found. “Uh huh, that's her,” Crystal replied. With a slight frown, she again verified the position. That was funny, it seemed like the Hanson should be a little further, and still moving. Neither of which were actually the case. Crystal wondered what was wrong with the ship.
She figured that she would find it out, since any people gathered in a space like a Starship inevitably talked, a lot. Crystal had Tovan reactivate the long-range sensors, and he docked the ship.
Crystal proceeded to the bridge to check that all was well with Cadet Porter, then chill on the bridge for a while, watching the two cadets interact. She wasn't trying to eavesdrop on the cadets. But they were right next to here, and she did have to watch what they were doing. But she did manage to avoid showing any outward negative reaction to the idea of imposing control over your emotions. She didn't have anything specific against the idea, but it just sent shivers down her spine.
Although if someone else wanted to do it Crystal guessed that there really wasn't anything specific against the notion. Commander Reynolds received a communication based on something sent to sick)bay and he took both her cadets, leaving her in charge of the bridge. Fortunately Crystal didn't have to worry about whether she should take the CO's chair, since she had to stay at helm.
“Let me know whether she's all right?” Crystal asked of Jason before he left, since all she knew was that S'reena was down there. She wasn't sure if Drew had been with S'reena, but she hoped not, since that meant he might have been injured as well. Jason acknowledged and took the cadets with him, and leaving the bridge more deserted than it had been since before the mission had started.
Crystal took over helm, wondering a little what the point of going to the conference would be now, since the ambassador was dead. But she didn't know where else the Hanson would go. And she didn't make the orders, she followed them.

As they walked back to sickbay, Stephens was quite pleased to be walking alongside T'Pren again. He still felt regret over what had happened earlier, and he was glad that she had accepted his apology for it. He'd enjoyed immensely their time together in the Science lab, dissecting and discussing the alien device that had been found.
"You did good work back there," he said to her.
<Tag T'Pren>
"Well, I'm thinking that we work well together. You're more logical, of course, and I'm glad for that. But I like to speculate, even if it isn't logical. I've sometimes found that answers can be found by intuitive leaps which don't necessarily follow logical parameters."
Stephens smiled as she raised an eyebrow. He imagined that the non-Vulcan part of her was agreeing with him, though she would never admit it. He was beginning to find that charming. She certainly was becoming more attractive to him, the more familiar he became with her.
"The Breen, though. Why would they want to disable the ship? What do they have to gain by impeding the diplomatic conference? And I'm thinking the more serious question is, how did they get past Security in order to place the device here in the first place? Who are the saboteurs? Have we got Breen loyalists even among the crew here? Scary thought, that."
<Tag T'Pren>
He listened as she gave her views, even with the limited information they had. As always, her thoughts were logical and cogent. He watched her face as she spoke, her eyes dark and serious. He couldn't help smiling. She was just so incredibly lovely.
As she came to the end of her musings, they were nearing sickbay. On an impulse, Stephens decided to ask her what was really uppermost in his mind.
"T'Pren....ummm..would you have dinner with me? It would honor me, and I'd like you to see that I can be a gentleman and make it up for....earlier." Stephens felt himself blushing for the millionth time in that day.

S'reena turned as Drew grunted and started his fall towards the deck. What startled her was the expression of pain on his face. "Admiral?" she querried, as she rushed in to catch him. As she did, she slowly lowered his limp form to the deck, for he'd already lost consciousness.
While she supported him with one arm, she reached up and tapped her combadge. “S’reena to Sickbay. Emergency!” A sharp pain shot up her side and she had extreme difficulty trying to speak. With even more difficulty, she pulled the dart from her side, frowning at the green blood sticking to it. Squinting, she tried to concentrate on forming her alert, but the words wouldn't come.
Slowly, she felt her body go numb and she slumped down over Drew's still form, unconscious before she came to rest.
(Tovan, Porter, Crusser, Kang: Find them, find the darts...and let your creativity wander *within reason of course* there's no killing Drew or S'reena)
Meanwhile, Michael had heard the alert and rushed towards Brelev and Isis. "Doctor!" he cried, "there's a medical emergency in Ambassador Davis' quarters. Communication went dead right after S'reena called in for help. Bridge reports they're not responding to calls. "

"I have no problem with commitment," Tiffany said. "I do understand that this will take years to learn. I will do whatever it takes." Tiffany thought for a moment. "I for one am not fond of the idea of my emotions getting the best of me . I want to think logically without being consumed by my emotions."
She paused as Tovan told her that they could begin right away. "Good, then I am willing after my shift and your shift are over, we will begin. If you don't mind, that is?"

Tovan considered his thoughts on teaching Tiffany emotional control. Teaching the more emotional species control could be a very difficult exercise, but, there was also wisdom that the teacher sometimes gained as much as the student. As his own emotional control had slipped slightly lately... he hesitated as he thought of that moment on the Delta Flyer... yes, it would be beneficial to teach another, and thus learn himself.
"No, I do not mind. As there seems to be little demanding our attention right now, I can show a very basic technique right now, if the commander has no objections?"
Just as he turned to check, the ops officer said, "Commander Reynolds, Commander Hope just signaled sickbay about an emergency."
After hearing Reynolds' request, he turned to Tiffany. "Perhaps there is not time right now after all," he said, before following the Commander to the turbolift. As he, Tiffany, and Reynolds descended, Tovan's slight telepathic abilities sensed something... alien, down below. The turbolift stopped and let Cadet Crusser on before proceeding on to deck 10. They strode down the corridor and took up position on either side of the ambassador's quarters.
Tovan sensed the presence even more strongly, and he was sure that it was inside. Fear trickled up past his blocks once before he pushed it back down again. He would indeed have to concentrate on regaining the Kolinahr way. Glancing at the Commander, he awaited the order...

The cadets, T'Pren and Mr. Stephens, talked among themselves. "Ah, to be young again," Konal thought to herself as Connor asked T'Pren to dinner. She would have normally squashed any attempt of such blatant courtship behavior, but she felt sorry for Cadet Stephens who had more than his share of problems this trip. She would let this slide, as long as it didn't get out of hand. "How far could it go?" she rhetorically asked herself. "T'Pren has a mate on Vulcan." Konal only knew this because of the biography associated with her boarding file.
Sickbay was packed. The workstation in the back was set and ready to go. Cadet Connor, without being asked, beamed in the Breen 'pod' - er - whatever it is - to the desk in front of him.
Connor and T'Pren were exchanging glances again. Konal wished they would glance more at the workstation, where the Breen object had begun emitting a small pulse of green light. Konal only saw it out of the corner of her eye, but another pulse caught her attention. The third pulse broke the interlocked eyes of the cadets, and the two reacted like they were the first to see.
<T'Pren and Connor>
"Yes, I observed it doing that a couple of times already." The two got the hint, and got to work. Medical tricorders flipped open. Konal didn't activate hers. She didn't know what to expect, but so far the two seemed competent in their fields - when not preoccupied.
"May I also suggest," Konal interjected politely, "that you also raise a containment field around the object before anything is to happen."
The lights in sickbay flickered off, and back on again. This seemed to be recurring lately, but there were other pressing matters.
"May I interject again?" Konal had assumed almost a background role to her Cadets, that were collecting a lot of data, and trying to piece it together. "Maybe we should work out where the source of energy for this device is. It seems it is still 'on' even though we have disconnected it."
<T'Pren and Connor>
Sickbay, it seemed, had become their home for this mission thus far. If only Konal fought off the need for a physical, she could have gotten through more science drills before these mishaps.

Stephens' work would have proceeded handsomely, except for three things. There was an immense crowd in sickbay at the moment, and it apparently was a very important crowd, too. It seemed that every security officer on the ship was present, and that they were not in only for well-checks. There was a hushed quietness in their speaking, and when they listened to the doctors. What ranking officers there were present listened attentively and made urgent orders which were, it was to be presumed, carried out on the instant in some part of the ship.
It was an odd distraction, to be sure. And then there was the ever-present menace of a kooky cadet lurking about, hypospray at the ready, waiting for any random chance that Stephens was unguarded and vulnerable. Stephens imagined her behind a door somewhere, or under a table, ready to bound out with a pheromonic hiss, rendering him incapable of rational thought, a man stripped of everything except the satiation of his hottest desires. A chill crept down Stephens' spine, and he shivered involuntarily. He didn't think T'Pren would forgive him a second time.
And then there was T'Pren herself. She wasn't the first woman he had ever been attracted to, but he was surprised and delighted to discover that she was the first woman he was deeply attracted to, and who made him want to pursue a deeply romantic relationship. For her part, as expected, she was all Vulcan neutrality, even after accepting his giddy invitation to dinner. Only perhaps in the way her eyes sparkled did he even have an idea that she was interested at all.
They set up shop in the nether regions of sickbay, having had the Breen device beamed there for their further inspection. And although scientifically curious and excited at such a discovery, Stephens seemed more interested in the inspection of T'Pren's face, and she his. He wanted to reach to touch that face, eyes remaining locked, communicating silently, a dance for the infatuate impaired, and likely would have continued so if it weren't for the throat-clearing, paradise-shattering noise of the Commander. Immediately, clumsily, they noticed a green light flashing on the device.
"Yes, I observed it doing that a couple of times already," she intoned drily. Stephens' face went red, and immediately he and T'Pren flipped open tricorders to get more information on this most strange device.
"May I also suggest," Konal interjected politely, "that you also raise a containment field around the object before anything is to happen."
Logical. Where was T'Pren's mind when he needed it?
And then the Commander injected a curious thought into the equation. How could the device still possibly be working when it was not connected to a power source any longer?
With one last longing--was it truly longing, or merely hopeful?--glance at each other, they set to work to uncover the riddle.

OOC:
A little back posting here, I do so enjoy injuring Drew, so I could not resist lol.
ON:
Impressed with the results of the cadet’s work, although slightly disturbed by the findings, Drew thanked them both, and then left them to carry on with the investigation.
His plan was to head back to the bridge, but with S’reena’s comm call about the disappearance of the Ambassador’s body, he changed direction and headed for Ambassador’s quarters. This mission was getting stranger and stranger, first the power failures, then the encounter what was now clearly a Breen ship, then the Ambassador’s kidnap, and apparent death, and now his body had been transported out of sickbay. Drew did not need to be a genus to work out something was amiss.
Reaching the Ambassador’s quarters, he found S’reena already waiting for him outside, she was armed with a phaser.
Drew nodded in greeting to his First Officer, and spoke to the computer;
“Security override of quarters alpha six, command authorisation Drew Pi Alpha one-one-two”
With the doors open, S’reena and Drew stepped inside; everything appeared to be perfectly normal, the Ambassador had not been aboard longer than a day, and so had not made many changes to the room.
“According to the scans of the device we found, the Breen might be involved in this,” Drew told S’reena as they started to search the quarters for any clues as to what might be going on.
“The Breen?” S’reena asked, “But we are going to meet them for a peace conference.”
“Who knows,” Drew shrugged as he walked towards the desk to access the computer, “it could… ahhh.”
A sharp pain shot through his body as he felt an object impel into his back, crying out, he suddenly lost his footing and began to fall to the deck. As everything around started to go black, he was vaguely aware of S’reena calling out for security, then he heard a thud and all was silent. He tried to open his eyes, but he could not find the energy, all he wanted to do was to let go and be relied of the pain. As suddenly as the pain came it went, and he knew nothing else…

Cadet Tovan, Potter, if you wish please join me," Jason said," Commander you have the bridge."
Crystal proceeded to the bridge to check that all was well with Cadet Porter, then chill on the bridge for a while, watching the two cadets interact. She wasn't trying to eavesdrop on the cadets. But they were right next to her, and she did have to watch what they were doing.
Tiffany found her instructor was looking over shoulder. Tiffany spoke, "How am I doing so far, Ma'am?"
Tiffany follow Commander Reynolds, wondering why he asked for them. She looked at Tovan seeing that he too was called. ~Well it looks like we're needed elsewhere.~ Tiffany learned that it was not wise to question her CO, just follow and do as she was told. Of course she also knew when to follow her heart. If something went wrong, don't jump in the frying pan unless there's a good reason to do so.
Tiffany continued to follow, but came to a stop, seeing that she almost stepped onto a dart. She picked it up and then she looked at Tovan. "What do you make of this?" she asked.

OOC my very big apologizes to all, as i am still in training its kinda hard to find the time to get to a computer with time to post, but i hope to remedy that soon, but no garentees.
IC
WHen Daya heard the call for security to get to the bridge, he was literally running down the corriders to get there, something was up and he was going to find out what.
OOC sry for the shortness, lack of time

Up until Stephens had been prodded from his musings, and saw the green light flashing, he had supposed that everything that he had encountered during the day was simply cadet training, and that every Science cadet had (except for the sickbay incidents) experienced the same instruction. It had just been a matter of playing along, flexing his intellectual muscles, as it were, in the backdrop of a starship in motion. There hadn't been an urgency about it, and he had gleefully taken the time to fool around, flexing his playful muscles as well.
But as he shielded the device, and pondered its continuing power, and thought about the crowd in sickbay, which was certainly unusual, it dawned on him that perhaps this wasn't a game, that something had happened which was indeed serious in nature, and that the fooling around had to take a second seat to his real responsibilities as a Science Officer. This he was more than glad to do, and his need to be the best at what he did kicked in, and suddenly Stephens was all business.
As he worked on examining the device further, trying to recall what he knew of Breen technology, he listened to the voices around him. He was shocked to realize that the patients he couldn't see earlier for the crowd were the CO, Admiral Drew, and the FO, Commander Hope. A chill went through him. It definitely wasn't a cadet game any more.
He happened to look up as a familiar face approached him, that of Cadet Crusser. He appeared to be holding in his hand a projectile of some sort. As the cadet neared, Stephens paused in his work and spoke.
"Cadet Crusser, good to see you. And what might that be that you're holding?"
<Tag Crusser>
"A dart? What sort of dart? And where did you find it?"
<Tag Crusser>
Stephens immediately made the connection between the officers in sickbay and the finding of the dart. He also knew that darts, as opposed to other projectiles, by their very nature, were designed to immobilize and incapacitate their victims. It became important to know if Drew and Hope had been in the Ambassador's quarters where the dart was found. "Cadet Crusser, were the Admiral and Commander in the Ambassador's quarters?"
<Tag Crusser>
It was starting to make sense now. It was very probable that the dart had been tipped with something that rendered the officers unconscious, at least, and possibly more. An analysis needed to be done on the dart itself, to see what it was carrying and if there was anything else unusual that might point to its owner or its maker.
Stephens moved quickly to calibrate his tricorder to do a spectral analysis of whatever chemicals might be present in the projectile. As the tricorder worked, Stephens indicated the Breen device on the table. "Cadet Crusser, it is possible that this device may be linked to the attack on the CO and FO. We believe it to be Breen in origin, and as it still has power, it may not be the only one on the ship. We are looking into that possibility now, so I'd like you to stay close."
The tricorder beeped, indicating that it had finished its analysis. Stephens looked at the readout, and felt the color drain from his face. There was certainly urgency now, if Drew and Hope were to be saved from a most unpleasant death.
Looking beyond Crusser to whatever doctors he could find, Stephens said very loudly, "Dr Hope, Cadet Isis, I've got something you need to see."
At once they both came over to where Stephens had his tricorder readout. Dr. Hope leaned close and read what was there, and gave a low whistle. "It's a dendratide," he breathed. "A central nervous system toxin that destroys the dendrites on nerve cells, especially in the cortical regions of the brain. Very primitive, but very effective." His face was white as he considered the possibilities. His wife, Commander Hope, was under its influence, and though she wasn't human, and perhaps could resist it, the fact remained that it was one of the deadliest poisons known to medical science, and that time was not on their side.
He immediately turned to Isis and began barking orders. "Cadet, we need to run a model to see what effect it may have on Romulan physiology. To a human, it is deadly within a very short time frame. Once done, we need to either get an anitdote or manufacture one, as quickly as possible. We may only have hours to do it."
Cadet Isis hesitated, taking it all in. But the doctor was in no mood for that. Raising his voice he told her, "Don't stand there like you're paralyzed, too. Get moving!"
<Tag Isis>
Dr. Hope accompanied her to another part of the med lab to see what they could come up with. In the interim, Stephens had turned back to the device on the table. They needed to do a deeper scan of its schematics. Bringing the full power of an electron microscope to bear, Stephens and T'Pren looked at its workings on a molecular scale. It was fairly complex, and very effective. And Stephens was able to confirm that it probably wasn't the only one aboard.
He turned to Manto, who had been looking on. "Commander," Stephens said, "do you see this crystalline object here? I have seen this before, in my basic engineering classes. It is a power distribution node, but it has been altered. With what little I know about Breen technology, I believe that it is a collecting point for magnetronic energy, which then distributes it in a cascading fashion throughout its range. Diffusion, Commander. It would, attached to the ships's power systems, induce a shutdown of all critical functions. But it isn't the source. There has to be another device still aboard which is supplying power to this device that we have."
<Tag Manto>
"That's the best hypothesis I can come up with, Commander. Cadet Crusser, did you have a chance to look around further in the Ambassador's quarters?"

"I don't no the sort of dart, It was in the Ambassador's quarters."said Crusser.

"No, have not the chance to look around in the room."said Crusser.
