Adam stopped short of the cite of the commotion when he saw Saevalis approach. The CTSO took in the new information and tried to make sense of it.
"Ma'am, is there anything our Chief Medical Officer can assist with regard to your injured Priestess, or is everything under control?" Adam asked Saevalis, concerned for the injured Vulcan woman.
TAG: Savot or whoever
"Ms. Saevalis, if a skilled High Priestess is necessary to use this particular Katra for evil, then we may have narrowed our search greatly. Surely there must be only a handful of those capable of such a thing. Can you think of anyone that might be involved?"

*For quite a long number of hours Deis has sat in her readyroom and ran interference between her shipmen and the vulcans. Reports come to her every few moments of whats going on and with the death of one of the priestesses and the naming of one of those missing, she just cant sit still anymore. As she scrolls through one of the padds she notices a flicker before she tosses it.*
*she picks it back up and the flicker happens againthen the padd goes dead. She annoyedly shakes the thing as if that would do any good. Then she sees her console is flickering also. What the hell is going on. She frowns and tries to bring up her Engineer, but the comms are down now* Damn me! *so therefor she has to get up and go down to Engineering*
*She just waves at Zimmerman as she passes through, unable to stay though shes sure he wants to complain about whatever failure is going on. She understands, thats what shes going to do. Which hs bad since shes only barely gotten acquanted with her crew, now filled completly with the new nav officer. The good news weighs against the bad. System failures all over the place, but new nav, and her FO is finally awakened. She needs to go down there but hasnt the time at the moment. First, to engineering*
*She steps into the turbolift right outside the bridge doorway and speaks into the comm, hoping THIS one works* Engineerin *then waits, thinking on the way down. it isnt a terribly long trip and shes glad the turbolift dont decide to shut down on her too. The doors woosh open and she heads out, smoothing a hair back into place and straightening her uniform. Once inside Engineering she heads to one of the ladders down to the engine area and in somewhat of a hurry she just places a boot to each side of the thing, applies pressure and slides down the ladder, landing well then looking around for her Engineer* Mr Dunsmore. Gimme a rundown on wha is goin on. This ship needs t be operational now.
(Tag Luke)
*getting all of this she looks to the man and says* Do wha ye can t get this bucket runnin right. We need t be trailin thieves righ now, nae tomorrow. A' least make sure me scanners are workin topknotch. Th thieves 'ad t have left a trail. *though not cutely but with business ahead of her she leaves her orders as to "get me damn ship fixed" and marches onto her next destination. The knowledge of what is going to happen if we dont find those Katras is weighing on her and causing her to be very to the point with everyone. Including herself. As she leaves engineering she taps her commbadge and then lets out a grunty groan noise as it dosent make the chirping sound. So back into the turbolift she goes, back up to the bridge where she approaches Mr Zimmerman* Zimmerman me boyo. See wha ye can do wi th scanners. I wanna know iffen thar be any trail o any sort, look through multiple spectrums.Scan th Temples coordinates t look fer transporter traces, see iffen ye can triangulate where th ship was when th thieves beamed down, iffen ye can get an idea of where it was, we'll 'ave a smaller area to scan for warp trails.
(Tag Zimmerman)
*then she heads from her trusty Science man and sits in the main chair, bringing up a padd again, this one seems to be working allright. She a moment she cant think of what to bring up, then shakes herself out of her mind wanting to wander and goes back to the reports from down at the temple. She needs to let Parsons know that we may be running out of time. but shes sure he knows that already. She will have to wait for comms to come up to message him, so for now, waits and worries, working and periodically staring down at the planet Vulcan*

Closing her eyes for a moment, Saevalis looked at Parsons and replied, "There is nothing that can be done for her now. The mental backlash from what essentially was a psionic proximity mine has killed her. The Monastery personnel will attend to her last rites."
Saevalis turned to Nokomis, "Forgive me for not clarifying, Lieutenant Nokomis. I did not intend to suggest that they would return the katra to Sudoc's original body, as he died more than 2000 years ago. Any body capable of receiving a telepathic presence would be possible to use in reincarnating Sudoc's katra. The body's current essence, or soul as many Terrans refer to it, would have to be gone, either by using a body that had already entered a vegetative or comatose state, or by forcing the body's current essence to take Sudoc's place within the katra crystal, and leaving the body ready to hold Sudoc. Needless to say, either case would be disastrous, though as I indicated previously and as Commander Parsons pointed out, bringing Sudoc's essence back would require an extremely powerful Priestess, it may not even be possible to locate such an individual. We have our people sending word planet-wide to gather the most powerful of our Priestesses for interregation. Unfortunately the Priestess need not be vulcan in order to revive Sudoc. Any telepath with sufficient power could accomplish the goal. It is possible that a Romulan Priestess could re-fuse Sudoc's katra as well. I believe the most prudent course now would be to contact your vessel. The thieves have likely left aboard a starship of their own, and your vessel may be able to locate their exit trail."
Malley and Varek re-entered the Hall at that point, "I regret to inform you that may be difficult. I escorted Doctor Malley outside the Temple and it appears the ship's communication system has encountered difficulties. I suggest you allow me to hover-shuttle you to the Federation Embassy from which you all can shuttle up to your vessel. As we deduce the identities of the other missing katras, we are capable of transmitting the information to your vessel as you track the thieves' ship. The final decision still lies with you, however, Commander Parsons as you are your team's leader on-planet. We stand ready to assist you in whatever way you prefer."

"Agreed, commander. As Saevalis noted, I am of no releveant use to the Vulcans at this point." Malley stated, simply.
"All right, " Parsons said, "Nokomis, Malley, Deitrich & DiMaggio, you head back to the ship" he continued.
"Myself, Sanders, and Groban will remain on the planet for the time being."
OFF- Didn't want to write your dialogue too much, and otherwise had very little for me to post.

OFF: Quite all right Doc; I'll work with it.
Half of the team headed back to the Temple entrance with Nokomis and Malley to ready the primitive transport to the Temple's shuttleport about a mile off site. Parsons remained behind to help move and cover the Priestess' body and gather up the rest of the team from around the temple. Once the security personnel were all accounted for, Parsons led them back to the entrance just as Malley and the others were loading onto the transport. Nokomis redistributed the communicators and other equipment she had gathered and the reunited team was on its way.
Once the team arrived at the Shuttleport, they were transported in a hover shuttle to the Federation Embassy on Vulcan, and from there shuttled to the El Sal.
Comms were still down as the shuttle approached, but the sensors must have been working because one of the shuttle bay doors opened as the team neared the ship. With everyone safely aboard Parsons gave the order to return to stations to ascertain the ship's current status. The CTSO headed for the bridge.

Malley had to remember to check in on Sickbay. But he chose to report to the bridge first, and headed there with Parsons.
--Bridge-- Malley: "Hello Kevin, can you tell me where the Captain is?" Zimmerman: "Hey Doc, yeah, she's in her ready room."
He chimed in at her door
Malley: Captain, it's Doctor Malley. Irae: Doctor, please, enter.
--Ready Room-- He entered her room, finding it awash with PADDs scattered everywhere. Attempting to pretend not to notice, he smiled at her.
Irae: It's a mess, anyhoo, Report Doctor Malley: I'm sure that Cmdr. Parsons will want to give you a full report, ma'am, that isn't why I'm here. Irae: Oh, I'm sorry what's this about then? Malley: Captain I'm simply trying to avoid stepping on anyone's toes
She let out a brief laugh, and continued.
Malley: Although the timing is unusual I wanted to speak to you about taking a Bridge Shift if it's available, perhaps only one or two rotations per week, or something of that nature. Irae: I'll take it under advisement, and get back to you. Malley: Understood, and also regarding my physical. Irae: Yes? Malley: Perhaps it would be best if my care be assigned to Doctor Parker Irae: Very well, thank you actually. Is that everything? Malley: Yes ma'am thank you Irae: Dismissed
Malley headed out, and immediately went to sickbay to resume his shift.
--Sickbay-- H. Nurse: Welcome back, Doctor Malley: Thank you, Nurse McLachlan, status report please H. Nurse: Certainly, Doctor. We have had several patients come in with minor electrical burns due to the equipment malfunctions, but that situation is entirely under control for the moment. Malley: Understood. H. Nurse: We do however have several cases of what appears to be a minor influenza virus due to environmental control malfunctions that seem to be primarily nocturnal. Malley: Curious, thank you Ns. McLachlan.
Malley went over to examine some of the patients. Curious indeed, there was no immediate explanation for the growth of antibodies in both patients, it was as though one could spontaneously develop the flu. After several hours of medical study, he could still come to no conclusion. He requested environmental control logs, and found that there were severe drops in temperature, in the cabins of both patients, that occured when they were asleep and lasted only several minutes in length. He decided to go down to Engineering and confirm his findings with Cmdr. Dunsmore.

ooc: ok here i go, with coming on board.
IC:
Jack sat in his seat hitting the controls as he dropped the shuttle out of warp and enetered the Vulcan System. He began scans and located the ship he was to serve on. He brought an image of it up on his screen and marveled at that ship. 'A Prometheus class,' he thought. It was a beautiful ship in Jack's opinion and he was glad to be serving aboard her. He hit a few controls and started his aproach. =/\=Lt. (Jg) Whillis aboard Shuttle Tiberius, requesting permision to dock.=/\= he said as he brought the small craft around.
=/\=You are cleared for landing, welcome aboard Lt.,=/\= the reply message made jack happy. He slowly brought the shutle in and landed it smothly. He powered down the systems and grabbed his bag and stepped onto the deck of the ships shuttle bay.
He spotted the officer on duty and walked over to him. "Permision to come aboard sir," he said to the man.
"Permission granted, welcome aboard sir." the mans replied.
"Thanks," was all jack said as he picked up his bag and looked around his new home.

OCC: Again hopefully I'm not stepping on anyways shoes, but I thought it best to bring Ethan on the El Salvador. Also I'm very happy to be here and hope to be working with you all for a very long time. Well everyone other than Simon, wait I mean Lt. Commander Zimmerman ;D
Ethan was very glad that the Neptune was close to the 40 Eridani system and the Vulcan homeworld. There were about a dozen ships in orbit around the planet, but Ethan could already see the beauty that was the USS El Salvador.
When Ethan had been given his orders and read that it said the El Salvador he went into the Federation database and looked up El Salvador. El Salvador is a country in what used to be known as Central America and its stands for "The Savior." Ethan thought that the name was derived from this, but he could be wrong.
As he pressed the docking commands into the shuttle La Union he contacted his new ship and home.
"USS El Salvador this is the shuttle La Union asking permission to dock," Ethan said into the comm. It took a while for the dock master to answer, which at first made Ethan very nervous.
"La Union you have permission to dock, welcome to the USS El Salvador."
Ethan moved outside shuttle bay 2 and waited for the doors to open. When they did, Ethan pressed his final command and the shuttle made its way into the ship. Once the shuttle landed on the ship, he started shutting off all power to the shuttle.
After this was done he walked out of the shuttle and saw that there was someone leaving the shuttle bay.
"Two in ten minutes, it got to be a record," the dock master said before he saw Ethan.
"Sir, Acting Ensign Ethan Hope, here are my orders," Ethan said handing the man a PADD.
"So you are our new Operations officer?" the man said looking at Ethan.
"Yes Chief Petty Officer," Ethan said.
"I guess that Commander Savot will be pleased," the CPO said. Ethan didn't quite understand, but didn't say anything. He would find out later.
"Chief where do you think I can find the Captain?" Ethan asked.
"Most likely in her ready room," he responded as he went about his work. Ethan thanked the man and headed out the door.
He first made his way towards his quarters and just dropped his bag. There was no need to ask for direction since he was born on a Prometheus class ship.
"Computer Bridge," Ethan said as he entered the turbolift. This was Ethan's first assignment and posting and he was very nervous. He had never met the CO, or XO, but he had heard good things about them. Hopefully they can make me a better officer Ethan said to himself as he entered the bridge.
He quickly scanned the bridge and took a deep breath. He saw that the Captain was not in her ready room, but in her chair. Everyone that saw him knew immediately that he was fresh meat, but that would not stop him.
"Captain Deis Irae, Acting Ensign Ethan Hope reporting in for duty," Ethan said as he saluted his new CO. After returning the salute, Ethan eased up a bit and handed his captain his orders.

It's difficult to keep "news" quiet onboard a starship. Especially a Prometheus Class starship. The doctor was in his office when a chime came in from Cpt. Irae.
Irae: "Doctor, we have two new arrivals, I have sent them to their quarters to unpack, and ordered them to report to sickbay afterwards for their Duty Clearance Examination." Malley: "Thank you, Captain, I will file a report as soon as possible."
He reviewed his notes:
JG Lieutenant Jack Whillis - Chief Navigational Officer Human, Male, 20 Years Old Has had little in the way of medicle problems, he has broken a couple of fingers in his left hand with no lasting damage. Jack has had all his vaccines that are currently available. He has a rather strong Imune system, illnesses that may affect some for days affect him for hours or maybe a day at most, with the exception of alergies from season changes.
Acting Ensign Ethan Hope - Chief Operations Officer Human, Male, 20 years old 2391.1212: Completed Basic Academy schedule and was given the tentative rank of Acting Ensign and assigned to the USS El Salvador-B as its new Operations Chief.
After approximately 15 minutes, Ensign Hope walked in.
Malley: Dark chocolate ensign?
The ensign was uncomfortable with the subject.
Malley continued: Just kidding, was looking at your file...

It was difficult to keep a secret on a starship. Even more so on a Prometheus Class starship. He was sitting at his office going through his records when he received a chime from Captain Irae.
Irae: Doctor? Have I caught you at a bad time? Malley: Of course not, Captain. What can I do for you? Irae: We have two new officers onboard, I've spoken with both of them and ordered them to report to medical after they've unpacked. Malley: Understood Captain, I'll update you ASAP. Irae: Thank you, Doctor.
Malley tapped his screen and opened the files of his soon-to-be patients.
LIEUTENANT (JUNIOR GRADE) JACK WHILLIS HUMAN, MALE, 20 YEARS OLD Has had little in the way of medical problems, he has broken a couple of fingers in his left hand with no lasting damage. Jack has had all vaccines that are currently available. He has a rather strong immune system, illnesses that may affect some for days affect him for hours or maybe a day at most, with the exception of allergies from season changes.
With that, Lt. Whillis entered the room.
Whillis: Good afternoon, Doc! Malley: Hello Lt, welcome aboard. Whillis: Thank you Malley: I see that you are completely vaccinated as of three days ago? Whillis: That's right Malley: And I have read the note on your immune system, that is impressive. Regarding your allergies though?
(TAG WHILLIS)
He had also had the time to review the other file ACTING ENSIGN ETHAN HOPE HUMAN, MALE, 20 YEARS OLD NO SIGNIFICANT MEDICAL HISTORY
Hmm, Malley thought, not much help here. He did see one thing that caught his eye.
Just as the replicator had finished processing his request, Ens. Hope entered the room.
Malley: Dark chocolate, Ensign?
The ensign was very uncomfortable at the suggestion, but Doctor Malley smiled and revealed that it was white, and not dark.
Malley: Just kidding, ensign. You are reporting for your physical, correct?

::Having been in a bit of a hurry the fact that one cant serve on Bridge duty until Lt. Commander just totally slipped her mind. Its the sort of thing that her FO would have reminded her off immediatly and something she shouldnt have forgotton. How long has it been since shes slept? Bah shes fine. *Then she heads towards the doors to woosh out but is stopped by the sight of a young man trying to enter the bridge AT that moment. She recognizes the man as being among the two new recruits.
*Deis smiles and salutes him back, reaching and shaking his hand. Hes taller than she is but most of her crew are, shes a small captain. "Well Captain, our investigation was greatly hindered by the Vulcans' rules regarding the use of any technology in their temple. In fact, I am not sure we were much help at all. The Vulcans, however, were able to discover one of the identities of the katras. As you now know, it was that of Sudoc, a fierce military leader from before the Time of Awakening. This was the period in Vulcan history when Surak's pacifistic teachings prevailed. I was told by Saevalis that Sudoc may possibly be the most powerful psion in all of Vulcan history. She believes he was likely the creator of the Stone of Gol, a psionic device capable of using a target's own intense emotions to destroy them. Apparently, Captain Picard assisted in recovering the Stone itself. The Vulcans have sent someone to it's secured location to verify that it has not been stolen as well, however, they do not believe it likely that those responsible attempted to steal the Stone. Saevalis believes that with the katra of Sudoc in their possession, if he is in fact the original creator of the Stone, whoever could successfully meld with the katra crystal could learn to create one of their own. Also, if those responsible for the theft were able to find a living body that could contain it, they could transfer the katra of Sudoc back into a conscious body. He could then use his physical and mental powers against whomever he choses. Captain, we must find the katra as soon as possible, it's power has already killed one Priestess of the Temple.
*Once shes finished speaking with Parsons she looks concernedly to Zimmerman and he shrugs* Scanners are coming back one at a time Captain, we should be back up and running scannerwise in about 15 minutes. I should have the scans finished by then.

"Aye, Captain," Parsons then turned to his tactical console and made contact with the Vulcans. They assured the Federation Commander that Saevalis would get the message and undoubtedly be on her way to the El Salvador in short order.

"Tha be yer place but ye'll need t report t sickbay fer yer physical first. Id speak longer but thar be another crewman t be trackin down. Oh...ne'er moind." Captain Irae said. Paikea was pleasantly suprised when he heard his captain speak.
He knew that it was an old dialect on Earth and that just awwed him, since one of his biggest hobbies studying old Earth languages.
After the other crewmember introduced himself, Ethan excused himself and headed towards sickbay.
Once Ethan made his way to sickbay he was asked the strangest question.
Malley: Dark chocolate, Ensign?
The ensign was very uncomfortable at the suggestion, but Doctor Malley smiled and revealed that it was white, and not dark.
Malley: Just kidding, ensign. You are reporting for your physical, correct?
"Actually doctor, I love white chocolate,"Ethan said taking a handful of the white heaven as he sat down on the biobed.
"Doctor do your worst," Ethan said smiling.

The Doctor had a whole hour worth of "his" worst. There was a sixteen part physical, followed by a fourty-eight part mental exam. The latter would be left to the Counsellor, nonetheless his "victim" would require recuperatory (sp.) time.
The first couple of tests were basic motor-reflexes. Look this way, look that way. Can you hear THIS can you hear that. What do you smell here, feel here, etc; He stimulated a variety of basic functions, and performed a series of extensive cardiovascular and respiratory tests as well as bone-density, musculature endurance, hand-eye co-ordination, etc;
The Ensign passed the mind-numbing hour-long exam with the flying colours typical of a twenty year old. The Doctor dismissed him and returned to his office to finish up the paperless paperwork.
Chief Medical Officer's Log: Duty Roster addenum Chief Operations Officer, Acting Ensign Ethan Hope He has passed his physical and is in condition typical of a twenty year old. I hereby find him fully fit for duty. =^=End Log=^=
Doctor Malley entered the report into Ensign Hunt's medical log. He forwarded the information to the Captain in the form of a "Fit for Duty" entry.

OOC- This will be the last time I can post until at least December 26, Happy & Safe Holidays Everyone!
Counsellor Parker chimed in while Doctor Malley was finishing up his paperwork.
"Yes, Counsellor, What can I do for you?" was Malley's response.
"Yes, I believe Lt. Nokomis is in my office. Could you tell her that I will not be available, and have her reschedule her appointment with me?" he responded.
"Certainly Counsellor, Malley out." he said.
With that the Doctor got up and walked over to the Counsellor's Office.
"Doctor" she said as he entered the room.
"Lt. Nokomis, I was advised by Counsellor Parker that he would be unavailable for the time being, and wanted you to reschedule his appointment." he replied
"Understood" she said simply
"In the meantime, is there anything I can do for you?" he asked
She described her troubles to him in detail:
She told him about the dreams she had been having lately. About her family, she had dreamed that they had died, it was repetitious, their deaths were always the same. She confessed that she frequently worried about her family, and had tried to contact them -- without any success.
Her concern for her family was so great that she had not slept regularly for a week, and hadn't eaten regularly for almost as long.
"I can't focus on this mission completely unless i know my family is alright, I think then these dreams would come to an end. I had hoped the Counsellor could shine some light on this." she had said.
Doctor Malley gave her a sedative and ordered her to bed, until the Counsellor could take the matter up with her."

OFF: I finally got my computer fixed (my little brother had somehow blocked cookies on S47, which is odd considering he almost never uses a computer, and I'm not sure exactly why that stopped me from signing in), and then I got sick (but not as bad as Nokomis's illness sounds). To quote Worf, 'I suspect a conspiracy.'
ON:
"Zimmerman me boyo. See wha ye can do wi th scanners. I wanna know iffen thar be any trail o any sort, look through multiple spectrums.Scan th Temples coordinates t look fer transporter traces, see iffen ye can triangulate where th ship was when th thieves beamed down, iffen ye can get an idea of where it was, we'll 'ave a smaller area to scan for warp trails."
"Aye, Captain," said Kevin.
The science officer was unable to find any trails leading away from the Temple - at least, that used any normal means of transportation. None of the typical or atypical means of transporters used by the Federation, Klingon Empire, Romulan Empire, the Ferengi, or any other documented species seemed to have been used. But something was there. Kevin couldn't quite put his finger on it...
He decided to look for warp trails. There were none, he was sure of that, at least none that could belong to the theives. The Vulcans had been very swift in closing down unauthorized transportation to and from the planet. It hadn't been that hard - Vulcan wasn't exactly the economic center of the galaxy. But there were several science types Kevin sympathized with that were upset at not being able to get back to their labs after attending a conference on Vulcan.
If there were no warp trails, perhaps the theives were escaping at impulse power? But no, they would need to be cloaked to escape that way, and Kevin had used every means he could think of to search for a cloaked ship. If not cloaked, then how would they escape? Kevin thought for a moment. If they turned off everything except life support, and if their ship was painted so it didn't reflect light, or if they charted a course that kept them in Vulcan's shadow...? It was theoretically possible.
Kevin filled that information away and returned to the problem of transportation... could the theives have just walked away? Or maybe they had used a back door. Suddenly Kevin realised what he had hovering on the edge of his mind; a while ago, the Enterprise-D's science officer Lt. Commander Data had written something in his report on an experimental type of transporter technology that was very unstable. Kevin had read about it at the Academy, wondering if he could improve on it, but had soon realised it was not possible to stabalize the technology. Still, it was usefull, and chances were you'd be okay if you only used it once or twice...
"Captain? I think I've got something for you," annoucned Kevin.
"Let's hear it."
"Well, I've confirmed there are no warp trails that could belong to the theives. There are a couple ships that left after the katras were stolen, but they are all docked at various Starbases. I think they might be hiding in the planet Vulcan's shadow. Just a thought. We'd have a lot of territory to cover if we started looking for them manually."
"And the transporters?" prompted Irae.
Kevin grinned. "Yeah, I think I know how they did it. I'll need to dig up the specifics to make sure, but I'm almost certain that they used a very unsafe, experimental form of transporter technology I read about at the Academy."
"You need to dig it up?" asked Irae.
"Like I said, I don't remember everything about it," said Kevin. "But it shouldn't take too long."
Irae nodded. "Inform me when you're done with your research."
"Yes, Captain."

"Transporter room to Bridge, Commander Parsons," was the message that interrupted the CTSO as he assisted Commander Zimmerman with his scans.
"Parsons here, go ahead chief."
"Sir, the Vulcan government is requesting transport for a Priestess Saevalis," explained the transporter chief.
"Alright Chief, prepare for transport. I'll be right there." Parsons turned his station over to an eager looking ensign and headed off the bridge.
***
As Parsons entered the transporter room, he gave the go ahead for transport. The CTSO straightened his uniform as Saevalis materialized on the transporter pad.
"Welcome aboard Ma'am." The Vulcan bowed slightly and Parsons led her out of the transporter room and down the corridor.

The Doctor handed nakomis a PADD.
"Cisco asked me to give you this. He has done some research and, and hopes that some of the suggestions detailed may be of some help to you."
"In the meantime, is there anything I can do for you?" he asked
She described her troubles to him in detail:

"I'm very sure that the counselor, will be able to. I will compile a report and pass it directly to him in the first instance. I will also do some research and analysis of my own, and pass my findings onto Dr Parker. From what I know he will be grateful of my assistance and continued help with your situation. Once again my I pass on Dr Parkers sincerest apologises. He will be contacting you with the next few hours."
"Thankyou Doctor"
With that Doctor Malley gave her a sedative and ordered her to bed, until the Counsellor could take the matter up with her."

After the doctor finished with his physical, Ethan thanked him and headed towards the bridge. He had been in sickbay for what felt like hours and not minutes.
Ethan never really liked sickbays especially when he was a kid. When they went in there was a good change that they never left the four walls of that room. So the farest he coudl get away the better.
Ethan was not expected on the bridge, but he felt as this was the best time to do it. So he stopped the turbolift mid ride and told it to head back to the bridge.
Once he entered the bridge he walked up to the operations console. Luckily for him it was empty and so was much of the bridge. So Ethan just started to work, starting with multiple scans and test on primary ship systems.
The scans didn't take long, but in that time more of the senior staff came onto the bridge. It seemed as they had been doing something else on other parts of the ship. One of the people that entered the bridge was the Captain, who was surprised to see Ethan there.
"Ensign, you are not on this shift," Captain Irae said.
"I know Captain, but nothing better than the present to get stuff done," Ethan said getting back to work. Captain Irae didn't say anything else pertaining to him being there and so he relaxed and looked onto the viewscreen and the beautiful desert planet of Vulcan. 4

Ships Counselors Personal Log
Well, I really should start doing these logs more often.
Its been a manic start to my time aboard the El-Sal, and to be honest I dont think things are getting any less manic.
Our FO is still down on the planet, the captain I know is fretting like a mother hen, probably best I dont say that to her face... on the topic of the captain. I am concerned about her, this concern is not at a level to be official although I have made a small not in my Counselors log, but as the captain reads them I cant go into details.
Captain Irae is a magnificent person, with the weight of the whole ship on her shoulders. I must make some more appointments with her, even if it is just for coffee, with Savot out of action she does not have anyone to off-load to and this cannot be good, well I know its not good.
I also need to get in touch with Lt Nakomis, as we do seem to be missing each other, I must apologise again for not being able to make our pre-arranged appointment. Not a good start I know.
Anyway, theirs plenty more days ahead. And I know each day that passes the more settled I feel.
"Computer end and save log"
"Maybe i'll just go for a wonder and see who is around" Cisco said out loud to himself. He wasnt really feeling tired, and the prospect of sleep seemed to make him even wider awake.
