=^=Sir, the temporary command codes for tactical, deflector control, navigatioin, and operations are complete, and the team is working on the other priority departments=^=, came the report from Hope down in the main core.
Savot, having previously tapped his commbadge, merely spoke into the air to relay further instructions, =^=Very good, Mr. Hope. Complete whatever system you personally are working on at the moment, then return to the bridge. With Operations restored you should be able to continue aiding the reprogramming effort from here while the science teams remain at the core. Savot out.=^=
Tapping his commbadge once more Savot opened a link to Whillis down in Engineering, =^= Savot to Whillis. Core team reports that the engineering systems are available under the temporary command codes. Tell Commander Dunsmore to begin one last diagnostic on the engine systems, and then you report back to the bridge and make ready to re-initialize the helm once he's finished. Bridge out.=^=
Before he could hit his badge yet again, Savot received a hail from Parsons, =^= Commander Savot, this is Parsons with the boarding party. Zimmerman has everything pretty well in hand, and we're falling back to the shuttle. We should be able to gain access to most of their systems through our bridge consoles once we're up and running fully. E.T.A. to return is about 3.8 minutes.=^=
Savot tapped his badge to respond, =^= Superb work gentlemen. You are cleared to return to the main shuttlebay. Return to the bridge upon arrival, Savot out. =^=
Savot tapped the channel closed, then sat down at the center seat, working from the arm-rest consoles while awaiting the re-congregation of the El Sal's senior staff to finally bring an end to this crisis...

Jack jumped and hit his head on the ceiling of a Jefries tube he had been working on. He groaned and swore under his breath as he finished his work and then went back to main Enginering. "Commander," he called out locating the Officer. "Commander Savot just told me that the temporary command codes are online and engineering sytems are up. He wants you to run one last Diagnostic, and me back on the bridge."
With that, Jack left and headed for the bridge at top speed, once there he began to work on getting everythhing ready on his end.

=^=Understood sir, Hope out=^=
Ethan quickly finished what he was working on and pulled the crewman, who had been so rude to him when he go there to the side.
"What is it Mr. Hope?" he responded annoyed to be taken away from his work.
"Crewman Daniels your in charge, I'm going back to the bridge and I will coordinate with you over the comm system," Ethan said as he took the reports that he had also been writing.
"Me in charge, why sir?" Daniels asked.
"Because I'm crazy, crewman, I'm crazy," Ethan said laughing and leaving the main core to his very capable hands. Hopefully he had made the right decision leaving Daniels in charge, but if anything did go wrong Ethan would take full responsibility for it.
"Bridge" Ethan said as he walked into the lift. The quick ride only allowed him to straightened out his uniform before the doors swooshed open.
Ethan was greeted to site of relaxed calm and serenity. Commander Savot was sitting in the center chair thinking about what ever people in his position thought. There were other people on the bridge, but Ethan didn't know any of them so he couldn't think anything about them.
"Commander here are the reports done by myself and Crewman Daniels," Ethan said handing him two reports," Crewman Daniels is in charge down there."
Tag Commander Savot
After handing his superior the reports, Ethan went to his station and immediately checked on the science team. They seemed to be making more progress, which could give El Salvador complete control over all systems in fifteen hours. Hopefully they wouldn't meet with any trouble in that time

Doctor Malley had been going over his final rounds as Chief Medical Officer of the U. S. S. El Salvadore. He had only received word of his transfer two days prior. The transfer stipulated that it would be effective immediately. He had provided Doctor Parker with a volume of quick-note information so that he could take care of the situation until a new CMO could arrive. His departure time was two hours away.
Having completed his last official act as Chief Medical Officer of the U. S. S. El Salvadore; clearing Captain Irae to return to active duty, he was ready to depart. They were in the middle of a mission and so there was no time to have an "official" debarcation ceremony, he was nonetheless shocked to see his bridge crew awaiting him in the main shuttlebay.
They all said their goodbyes, and it felt like only yesterday that he had beamed on "proceeding directly to Sickbay" to get a handle on the situation. A lot had happened since then, he had barely gotten to know any of them, and hoped that they held some sort of pleasant memory of him now that he was leaving.
His orders required him to take the El Sal's runabout Millennium to meet the U. S. S. Victory several sectors away; they would get a replacement runabout and CMO shortly after their current assignment was complete.
I thoroughly enjoyed posting with all of you, take care & hope to see you around! Live long & prosper (Not to steal "someone's" line, Savot)

Kevin managed an advancing wall of forcefields from his PADD, making the return trip to the Mini Sal much easier. The team moved forward with the cascading forcefields, taking out isolated pockets of resistance along the way.
Once the Mini Sal was reunited with her much larger namesake, the teams took the wounded to sickbay and Parsons and Zimmerman reported immediately to the bridge as ordered.
As Parsons stepped onto the bridge he gave a brief oral report to Savot, to be followed by a written report within 24 hours. Commander Zimmerman went straight to his station and began work on securing the remaining systems of the enemy vessel.
By they time Parsons and his team had recuperated and filed their reports the next day, the most of the El Sal's systems were back on line and under bridge control. Kevin had managed to take remote control of the enemy ship and it was being towed back to Vulcan with many prisoners on board. With aid from Savot and his sister, Parsons had already begun beaming groups of the Isolationists aboard for interrogation. Sensors showed Romulan ships near their border with the Federation as the El Salvador left the sector, but there were no breaches of Federation space.
On the way back, when Parsons' wounded team members were stable and on the mend, the Senior staff bid Dr. Malley farewell in the main shuttlebay.

Things on the El Salvador slowed down to a point of relaxation when the away team reported that the threat to the ship and the Federation had been taken care of.
"Mr. Hope..." Commander Savot said before being cut off by Ethan.
"Commander I'm already on it," Ethan replied contacting the science team at the main core to stop changing the command codes. There wouldn't be any more reason for it. Commander Parson and Zimmerman shortly made their way back to the bridge and gave an oral report the Commander.
Ethan exhaled a sigh of relief once he realized that the danger was over and they would be heading back to a secure location.
"Commander Savot, not to spoil the mood, but I have some information about our doctor," Ethan said remembering the message they had received yesterday. Ethan decided not to say anything because he might of thought that it would of been unproductive.
"Yes Mr. Hope," Commander Savot said everyone looking at him now.
"Sir yesterday, we received word that Doctor Malley will be leaving the El Salvador for the Victory," Ethan said reading the orders.
"Understood, Mr. Hope," Commander Savot responded keeping his stoic Vulcan face intact. Everyone else on the bridge clearly showed emotion to the news.
The rest of the day passed on rather slowly, it seemed as all the adrenaline had been depleted from the ship and until it came back everything seemed to take forever to do. When Ethan's shift ended he couldn't of been happier, he was tired, sleepy, and exhausted. He couldn't wait to say hello to his bed.
After a good night sleep
It of course was common knowledge that the senior staff would be saying goodbye to the Doctor before he left the ship and as Ethan got dress he thought of what he would say. He really didn't know the Doctor, but as part of the senior staff he would be expected to be there.
"What to get him?" Ethan asked himself. What would he get the good doctor?
In the shuttlebay
Everyone had assembled in the bay, waiting for the doctor to arrive. When he did, he was clearly surprised to see everyone there. Of course no one had told him what was happening. Captain Irae was the first to say her goodbye's and it went down the line all the way to Ethan.
"Doctor, here these are for you?" Ethan said handing him a box.
"What are they?" Doctor Malley asked interested.
"Chocolate, Doctor there chocolates," Ethan said smiling. He remembered the first words that the doctor had spoken to him, which was offering him some chocolate.
"Have a good trip and be safe doctor," Ethan said before the Doctor entered the shuttle and closed the doors.

*Deis pushes herself up off the biobed. Shes fine of course. Shes come to terms with the mental "blowout" shes had and nods to the doctors when they tell her to take it easy. She shrugs back into her uniform and zips it in place. Tying her hair back her eyes lookingelsewhere. She can feel it. It pulls at her like a lodestar, like gravity. Hes here. Spikings of memory return to herhe was spoken of by Mallyor was it Cisco. She cannot remember exactly. A ghost of a smile comes to her face as she strides out of the sickbay, heading towards one of the turbolifts. Once inside she speaks* Bridge
Savot sat in the bridge's center seat, a rarity for the vulcan First Officer as he typically busied himself with one thing or another too frequently to justify sitting at a station that wasn't even really his. But for the time being at least, there was very little to be done. This didn't mean the El Salvador was at 100% capability, just the opposite. Though they had captured the Isolationist faction that had gained access to the vessel's command codes, only a fool would assume that it would be safe to continue under the same ones as before. The ship's own personnel had implemented temporary replacements, but to run at peak capacity again the main computer cores would require a full reformat and an entirely new and unique code-base would have to be used. Savot had coded a message ahead of them to Starbase Assailant, requesting the use of a computer specialist team to supervise and augment the efforts of the El Sal's own personnel with regard to formatting the cores. Fortunately, a team of Bynars was currently aboard the Starbase and would be available for the task. With all that in order, there was little to do but await the return of the Captain to the bridge. Just as Savot perused that thought, his right eyebrow rose just slightly, as he felt the growing awareness of the mind that had grown closer to his within about 2 years, through various crises and other circumstances, than most beings' had his entire life.
*The doors hiss open without delay..at least the doors arnt completly broken as well. The greeting is sent out before she ever comes into sight. Theyve met, spoken, and nodded, before she ever steps onto the bridge. The markings of her injury are gone completlybut something strange was left behind. Memory. It flutters like butterfly wings of the mind, but is shut down like a top placed on a bottle. Once Deis steps onto the bridge she is greeted by someone saying* Captain on the Bridge! *and the standing of her crew. She motions for them to be seated then walks to her chair, looking at the man sitting there. She quirks a little crooked smile and offers out her hand* Welcome back Commander.
Savot was just standing up to advocate the Captain's chair as Deis moved to the center of the bridge. He stood to her welcoming countenance and, looking down at her hand for a moment, clasped it with his right while holding his left behind him in his typical default stance. "Thank you, Captain. It is my pleasure to be back aboard. I regret any inconvenience my lateness may have caused."
*Deis shakes the hand and then releases it, taking her seat and then looking up at her First. Her expression is as blank as Saevalis' has a tendancy to be, until she smiles again. Sure her ship is screwed for the moment but things are still as they should be.* Dinnae regret it. Ye needed th R&R. *as though Savot hadnt been in a hospital with his lung cleaved* Needed a bit meself. *as though she hadnt been in as well with an aneurysm* Ive read th reports. Once th vulcans take th Ship we can return yer Mum an Sister. We 'ave much t be thankin em fer. Time t be gettin this show on th road aye?
Savot nodded his agreement with the slightest tilt of his head, clasping both hands behind his back now and standing at the right hand of the Captain's chair. "Indeed, Captain. So too does of Vulcan owe immense gratitude to yourself and the whole of the El Salvador crew. We are currently on course for Vulcan, travelling at only Warp 2.3 due to both the strain of towing the enemy vessel and the still relatively unreliable state of our engines. Engineering is meticulously monitoring the core; however, for any signs of failure. I foresee no difficulty in reaching our destination as timely as possible."
Damn th engines *she mutters to herself and looks down at her everpresent workpadd. nodding and saying* Good. Th sooner we head back, th better. *giving a little snort* An i always thought a visit t yer home would nae be dangerous. *Standing up from her chair* Maintain course. Once weve arrived contact me. Ill be in me readyroom. Ill want t say g'bye t th Vulcans. All persons o tha red ship is t be turned o'er t th Vulcan government.
Savot nodded instant assent to the Captain's orders, retaking the center seat as she vanished behind her ready room doors. The helm had heard the orders, there was no need to repeat them to Whillis, so he merely resumed the seat and looked out at the pinpricks of stars passing into and out of the viewscreen's range.
OFF: Joint post by Myself and Savot. The ender will be tomorrow.

Finally, after what had seemed an eternity since their original arrival at Vulcan, the crew of the El Salvador was ready to return to their normal patrol area and get on with business as usual. The enemy ship had been turned over to the Vulcan Defense Force authorities for detailed analysis, her crew had been turned in for extensive interrogation to unveil as many of the other actively terroristic Isolationist groups as possible to avoid another such disaster in the future, and the crew and ship logs and files Zimmerman had been able to store had likewise been uploaded to the Vulcan Defense computers for meticulous review.
Saevalis and Doctor T'Leshka had made hasty but heartfelt goodbyes, as they both had quite a bit of work ahead of them, Saevalis dealing with the Monastery's lockdown of the Sudoc katra crystal, and T'Leshka beginning an immediate review of all medical personnel in an attempt to ferret out any further Isolationist infiltration.
Now, the crew of the El Salvador stood at their stations in respect to the elders of the Vulcan council displayed on the forward viewscreen. The center figure rose, =^=Captain and crew of the U.S.S. El Salvador, the whole of Vulcan owes you a debt of gratitude for your service in this crisis. You have functioned in the best tradition of your Starfleet, as well as provided a prime example of honorable behavior by any species' standards. May your journey home be free of incident. Live long, and prosper.=^= As he finished speaking, the entire council around him rose as one, all displaying the traditional Vulcan salute.
Captain Irae and her vulcan First Officer stood beside each other in the center of the bridge, and they returned the salute on behalf of ship, crew, and Starfleet as a whole. The screen went blank as the saluting vulcan hands fell back to their waists, and the crew of the El Salvador resumed their seated stations.
Captain Irae sat, maybe a slight bit more heavily than usual, as this had been a seemingly endless strain on ship and crew alike. The vessel herself seemed to respond trudgingly as she broke orbit, eagerly awaiting the arrival at Starbase Assailant for a full repair. Deis breathed in sharply through her nostrils, sat up straight as though to tell the El Sal, 'jus' a little farther darlin', jus' a little farther', and spoke towards the helm, "Mr. Whillis, set a course for Assailant at best possible speed.... and engage."
