Captain. We are recieving the supply of Improvaline, time of departure, 10 minutes. ::The vulcan Commander says to her as she gets in place.::
Thank ye Mr. Savot. ::Giving him a faint smile:: Once more, int' th Breech, dear friends. Ach...lemme coordinate wi Harrias. ::Queueing the comms up on her small console:: =/\=Irae t Harrias, time fer departure. Shall we go on, or be waitin fer ye?=/\=
::Harrias voice speaks up though softly through her personal comm:: =/\=Go ahead and leave Irae...scout for us a bit and keep in constant contact. We dont want to lose you guys too. Harrias, out=/\=
::Deis then looks round to Savot and recieves the report she would:: All hands present and accounted for Captain. All supplies have been brought aboard and stations are manned. We await your order. ::She checks her chronometer one last time and then nods, standing up from her chair, making the full comm announcement:: =/\=Attention El Salvador...departure t minus 5 minutes. If anyone, an i mean ANYONE, begins feelin strange ye will report this immediatly. Were on point...i wan e'erone at their best. Irae out=/\= ::She then turns and looks around to Lt. Parker and says with a nod:: Take us out Jamey.
Aye Captain ::He says and begins tuning his console...we all can feel the powering up of the ship, feel the movement though it isnt felt by usual means. Deis tunes in the screen and stands there, watching as we leave the starbase...again shes struck by the fact that she never DID show up at Magellans office. This makes her chuckle and she quickly sends him a comm message to await his convenience::
"Admiral Magellan...i do hope ye fergive me fer never stoppin by. But then under the circumstances formalities may be a bit on th silly side. Iffen ye wish t get t'gether after this beauty o a mission, ill be round." ::smiling into the screen and then killing the uplink. She hopes her not showing up wont reflect badly upon her...but then weve had too much going on:: ::She remains still watching the screen again as were brought out by impulse power...before too long were clear of the dock and Jamey says to Deis:: Were clear Captain.
Arrigh then...gimme warp 6 Mr Parker...engage.
::That lovely massive powering up sound is heard and the tension from the nacells is felt by all persons that hear this sound. Many look up from their monitoring stations at the same time and instincivly brace though the movement will barely be felt. The quiet whining of the engines reaches its peak and then the stars on the screen stretch, and trace as were hurled into space...the unknown waiting for us::

El Sal CNO Backposting leaving the star base …
=/\=Attention El Salvador...departure t minus 5 minutes. If anyone, an i mean ANYONE, begins feelin strange ye will report this immediatly. Were on point...i wan e'erone at their best. Irae out=/\= ::She then turns and looks around to Lt. Parker and says with a nod:: Take us out Jamey.
Hearing the command from the Captain, Jamey started the procedure that would take the ship out into the blackness of space and also to the unknown. Releasing the gantry, closing the turbo lift shafts connecting the ship to the base’s lift system, tapping the commands into his panel the mooring tractor beams releases and the ship now floats in the dock under its own power. After several commands, the ship was heading for the space dock door that seemed to move effortless regardless of it’s huge weight. Jamey lines the ship up with the center axis of the dock door, Jamey communicates with star base command to check for clearance into space traffic around the base.
The ship was now clear of the space dock and headed in the direction that the Captain requested several hours before …
::She remains still watching the screen again as were brought out by impulse power...before too long were clear of the dock and Jamey says to Deis:: Were clear Captain.
Arrigh then...gimme warp 6 Mr Parker...engage.
Jamey turns into his chair back to face his panel; controlling the warp engines took a simple combination of buttons that controlled the most important part … controlling the warp field. The nacelles started to form the field around the powerful ship as the power burst that would take the ship to the desired speed built up … with a release of power that would equal the burst of an explosion, the ship that appeared in one location one moment was gone in the very next.
“Captain, we are at warp … estimated three hours to destination. Sir, I need to get to my inoculation” Jamey added. The Captain agreed, and relieved him from his position only to return after receiving the injection.

Kevin was beginning to find the virus affecting the Endocrine system to be very exciting. He was recalling some of his neuroscience class from the Academy, and was absentmindedly thinking about how the virus could affect the hypothalamus - or was it the hippocampus? - the pancreas, the parasympathetic nervous system as a whole... it was a very interesting thing, but Kevin had to go get his innoculation, and did so. Afterwards, he began monitoring his sensors closely, on as many levels as he could.
OFF: Does anyone have a plan on how to explain the virus? How its spread, how its stopped, what particular part of the brain or body it attacks, etc.?

A few minutes after the vessel had gotten underway, Captain Irae had left the bridge to try for some much needed sleep. Savot held the center seat for the next hour, stoically watching the pinpricks of starlight passing by at warp velocity. Sickbay technicians had long-since come to the bridge and innoculated those present with Improvaline. The trip itself was relatively uneventful and the bridge was mostly silent, but the minds of all the crew were busy considering one or another aspect of their upcoming situation.
Savot's mind was on-the-clock as well, considering the information that had already been divulged, and he too came to the conclusion that more data was necessary before formulating any specific strategy. So far no further word had come in from Assailant on the medical situation, and the only other source of information... was the site of the artifact itself.
Savot instantly rose from the center seat and moved to the Ops station he still considered his own. Fingers moving across the console with a practiced hand, he turned his head slightly though he kept his eyes on the console, "Mr. Zimmerman, access probe telemetry-transmission programming and procedure for accessing ship systems through use of command clearance codes."
Zimmerman turned in his seat looking extremely curious, but before he could give voice to his thoughts Savot continued his explanation, "It is rarely performed, but possible to access command functions on a starship through another vessel's console if the target vessel's command codes are known. Using this technique combined with an adaptation of probe telemetry transmission programming we can use the Angel as we would a probe, receiving sensor data through her sensors long before we enter the area. As the Angel was decommissioned from active duty it is unlikely her codes have been changed from the latest Fleet records. The briefing pointed out that internal sensor power was restored through a power transfer unit by the discovering away team. We may be able to reroute sufficient power to access the external sensors as well with the command code access."
Kevin moved his eyes around all 4 corners of his sockets as he digested the information and considered how exactly to go about it, then looked forward again and nodded enthusiastically, "I think I know how to get started, Commander. But, in order to use the Angel's command codes we'll need Captain Irae's personal command access."
Savot nodded, and tapped his commbadge, =^=Computer, location of Captain Irae. =^=
The standard female voice came over the intercom with an acknowledging beep, =^= Captain Irae is currently in her quarters. =^=
Savot nodded to himself, knowing Deis had been in sore need of rest, "Mr. Zimmerman, make the preparations. I'll go inform Captain Irae of the intended plan and return with her in just a moment." Savot nodded to the officers present, and stepped into the turbolift with a whoosh of doors.
In moments he arrived at the appropriate deck and made the short walk to the Captain's quarters. He regretted the necessity of waking her and sincerely hoped that his idea would turn out to be worth the sacrifice of rest. Arriving at the door, the vulcan pressed the chime button on the outside panel and the sound resonated inside the Captain's room.

OOC/OFF: NPC Engineer (Earth Female … name: Lt. Brinia Vargos)In Engineering …Brinia was sitting in her office looking over the repair list, wishing the El Salvador could have stayed at the star base for the existent of the repairs. She was looking down the repair list … The main starboard impulse engine replacement … DONE (at star base) Warp coolant control processor replacement … DONE (completed in route) Rebuild of two Engineering Labs on deck five … 70% Complete Deck five and six starboard fire cleanup … 20% Complete Power EPS fix for the ship’s separation latches … DONE (at star base) but not tested
Wow … she thought; the ship was ready for a mission but not testing the ship’s ability to separate into multi-attack mode was weighing heavy on her mind. What if the latches fail to open and not release … the ship could effectually rip apart at its seams. Something that would definably throw the proverbial wrench into the mix she thought. The repair supplies were either being used or in storage; in every place they could find to put anything. There were things in cargo holds, unused rooms, Jeffery tubes … anywhere they could find space for the item to fit. It really made it hard to work at times because you would have to move something to get access to a door or access hatch to fix what needed to be fixed. Things were coming along fine however, earlier, Brinia found a very young ensign commanding a group of her crew around. She didn’t take too kindly to that … she took pride in her crew and mothered over them; maybe too much at times. She took this post thinking that she would be just an Engineer working on a new and exciting ship. But found herself as Acting Chief Engineer. The ship didn’t have a CEO and it didn’t seem as they would ever get one. She didn’t mind however, she found this job rewarding even if it was exceedingly demanding. Finishing her update report that was an hourly task now, she sent the list to the CO and FO … as well as the CTsO. The computer acknowledge the report was sent ... she got up from her desk with a sigh, straightened her uniform, and got back to work.

After monitoring the tactical and security systems during departure, Lt. Parsons showed Ensign Nokomis around the tactical station. A medical technician had come to the bridge during this time to inoculate those at their stations and both of the ship's top security officers now had their shots.
The Captain had left the bridge some time ago and Commander Savot went to her quarters to meet with her, leaving Lt. Commander Zimmerman in command on the bridge. Parsons had his doubts about a science officer in command, but Zimmerman was the next ranking officer and had proven himself a capable officer long before the relatively new CTSO was assigned to the El Sal.
Turning to Nokomis, "Ensign, would you please make your way around the ship and inventory the arms lockers. They should be fully stocked and properly secured, but I would like to make sure. I also think it would be a good way for you to familiarize yourself with the rest of the ship. You can introduce yourself to any of the crew you meet along the way and please inform any security personnel that we will be having a departmental briefing as soon as convenient. I will formally introduce you then."

:: Deis hears the chime after the 4th ringing and jumps:: Wha...mmm...damnit. :: she drags herself into a sitting position and rubs her face, rising up blearily and grabbing a black robe, a short one that she pulls over her lil comfy black nighty. Her hair is a mess, loose, if only while she sleeps. She half staggers to the door and hits the opening button. She blinks but with that half awake sort of "huh" expression. Its Savot she sees when the door wooshes open. Through the fog of sleep she manages to say after a big yawn that she covers with her hand:: Aye Mr. Savot?
Blinking slightly upon first seeing the Captain's current state, Savot bowed his head in apology, "Pardon the intrusion, Captain. I would not have interrupted your recuperative period unless absolutely necessary. I have an idea on a method of utilizing the Angel herself essentially as a probe for our sensors to link to, in hopes of getting an advance idea of what awaits us in case the situation has changed since the original discovery team's report. This necessitates using the Angel's command codes to access her systems through our consoles, a procedure requiring a Captain's command level authorization. I was thereby forced to disturb your slumber and wished to do you the courtesy of a face-to-face encounter."
:: She thinks about this and nods, nearly full wakefulness having returned to her rather quickly. She rubs her eyes to clear her vision a bit and clears her throat:: Irae, Captain. Command Clearance Zeta Mu. :: that being done she gives her First a smile and runs a hand through her tousled hair, a lil pillow mark striping her cheek:: Go to it Savot...lemme know wha ye find out...hmm. Actually Ill be on th Bridge in one hour. I cannae go dressed like this ::laughing:: If tha's all?
As the Captain gives her vocal clearance to the computer, enabling permission to utilize the command code feature, Savot stood before her in the corridor, hands clasped behind him. As his Captain stood before him in her robe, he could not help but inwardly acknowledge that her physical attractiveness matched that of her personality even in such a casual state of just waking up. They had served together for approximately 22 months at this point, and through everything they had been through both on and off-duty, they had worked and related well as a team. As Savot considered all of this, he was once more aware of his good fortune in having served this woman, both his Captain, and his friend...Savot listened attentively to the Captain's instructions as he conducted this thought process internally, and nodded as she came to a close, "Indeed Captain. Once again I apologize for having to disturb you. We shall begin work on this immediately and will inform you if any critical data is unveiled before your arrival."
Thank ye Savot *smiling sleepily at him and then shrugging her robe into place...it was a little crooked* Ill be along...and dinnae worry. Th Irish say tha each minute asleep, is a minute taken from yer life. Sleep when yer dead ::chuckling and then stepping back into her quarters, the doors wooshing closed again and Deis goes to get freshened up and dressed::
~An Hour Later~
::Deis steps out of her quarters feeling actually very refreshed having taken a good sonic shower and had a bit of tea. Shes dressed in impeccable uniform, everything in place including her hair, tied up tightly as per regulation. On her hip rides her everpresent hypospray, sitting in its specially made holster. Its come in handy more times than not. Her step is more brisk than it was before her nap and she heads straight towards one of the turbolifts. She steps inside with an Ensign and a Nurse from Sickbay. She smiles at both of them briefly and says* Bridge.
::She confirms to the Nurse that she had her innoculation on the way to her quarters and that it was on record. The woman makes a joke about insane captains and Deis leaves the turbolift chuckling as she walks down the corridor leading to the Bridge::

All senior staff, and bridge crew had reported to their stations for departure. They still had about 60 minutes to go before they could leave. Cpt Jira was in his Ready Room, making his own preparations for the upcoming departure.
The only member that wasn't joining the crew was Dr. Lorre. She was staying behind on SB Assailant to help solve the mystery of this virus. Zhuk wondered how the two doctors were getting along. Were they professionally equal and mindful of each other, or where they going to be competing and upstaging one another. Zhuk thought more the former than the latter. He didn't know Dr. Mercy, but from knowing Dr. Lorre he knew that she would not be there to compete. She was as professional and smart as they came.
The refitting and resupplying was ongoing. A little over a third of the crew was already innoculated with Improvaline. A medic had come to the bridge to administer the doses to all of the bridge crew.
The Prometheus Class starship, El Salvador, could be seen through the view screen, slowly departing the open bay doors of the stations docking bay. It was a wonderous sight seeing such a vast vessel move about within this confined environment. Soon she was clear and on her way to the artifact.

OOC/OFF: NPC Engineer (Earth Female … name: Lt. Brinia Vargos)
… on Deck Five …
Ensign Nokomis said, “Lt. need some help? … here let move this out of your way for you … oh by the way my name is ariennye nokomis assistant chief of security …what’s your name an field you work in? … sorry about bombarding you with all the questions, but I do have one more … um do you know where the ship and inventory lockers are at?”
Brinia looked up from her PaDD and looked at the young Ensign. She offered her help then immediately moved a container out of the way that Brinia really didn’t need moved. It didn’t matter, she didn’t want to be rude and she knew the young Ensign was just trying to eagerly help; that was common for most Ensigns. Brinia smiled and said, “Ensign Nokomis, thank you … however I’m working in the other access panel. My name is Brinia Vargos, Acting Chief Engineer.” The stance of the Ensign was already orderly … but after the words Chief and then Engineer, it seemed to become even more honorable. “At ease Ensign, we are all working towards the same goal here … and I can say for my crew that they are very motivated as well.” Recalling how the young Ensign reacted with her crew during departure. “As for the lockers, most storage compartments are located in the cargo holds and Engineering Support Labs on this deck and in the cargo bays located on decks 2, 7, 11, 13 and 14. However, I’m assuming you are talking about weapons lockers,” allowing Ensign Nokomis to respond … “this ship doesn’t have weapons lockers located on every deck as most ships in the fleet. The main weapons locker is located on this deck and there are lockers located in the transporter rooms on decks 1, 5, 7 and 9. There are also small weapons lockers located in each cargo bay that have cargo transporters. If you would like, I could have one of my crew help you locating and checking each hold?”

Ariennye answer was, “yes, I would like it if someone would help sense I don't know where anything is. “Ensign, don’t worry about it. Like I said, we area all working for the same goal, you will get the hang of things on a star ship. ... Your family taught you correctly. Not many do these days. ... Thank you for moving that container, you know … in fact I did need it moved. The issue I’m tracking isn’t behind this access panel so; I need to look behind that panel now. Thank You.” With a big smile Brinia continued, “Go ahead to the weapons locker located on this deck.” Brinia stepped over to the wall and tapped in a few commands, “Follow the arrows around the corner and the locker is on your left. I will have an Ensign from my department meet you there in about twenty minutes.” Brinia, looking down at her PaDD noticed an alarm that she had set to remind her of a task that could only be done at a specific time. “I must go now, I have a time sensitive task that needs my attention. Again, thanks for your help.” Brinia had to get back to her desk to over see the new processor that was going to be brought on-line; the ship had been using the back-up processor ever since leaving space dock.

Post by Savot on Sept 21, 2005 7:01:59 GMT
Savot quickly returned to the bridge, having been gone likely less than 10 minutes. With a whoosh of the turbolift doors he immediately strode onto the bridge and over to his Ops station. As he sat down he once again twisted his head slightly in the direction of the science station to coordinate with Zimmerman, "Mr. Zimmerman, the Captain has given her vocal authorization to the computer, we should now be able to proceed. Begin the procedure, I will set up the link itself from this console and route the data through to yours." Kevin had already called up the Angel's registered command codes from Starfleet database and transmitted them to Savot's console. Entering in the code and activating the command access, Savot muddled through the highly chaotic current state of the Angel's systems to find an idea of where he could gain access. For the moment, sensors were still inaccessible, but as it was the bridge of the Angel that had been hooked up to the power unit from the investigative team, they were able to access parts of the most recent logs. Savot himself had to maintain and direct the connection, so he himself was unable to observe the data before it continued on to Zimmerman's science station. Zimmerman frowned at the machine as he worked to clear through the jumbles of data, then finally slumped his shoulders and spun around back towards Savot, "Commander, there's nothing I can do to recover the majority of this, it's too corrupted, probably by whatever that green beam was that sapped the Angel's power in the first place. I was able to get one piece of information though, the 4 crewmembers that made up the away team that went over to the artifact." Savot raised his eyebrow in interest, then nodded for the Science chief to continue. Zimmerman looked back at his console as he read off the names, " The away team was led by the ship's First Officer, Commander Gavin Tavistock, a Human. The other members were the Chief Engineer, Lieutenant Commander Lea Sollis - Bajoran, Betazoid Counsellor Ensign Suzi Ento, and lastly Human Science Officer Lieutenant Derek Ramallo. I'm sorry, that's all I could recover." Savot nodded, "Unnecessary to apologize for that which no one can alter. We will work with the data we did procure." Savot spun in his chair slightly to face the helm, "Mr. Parker, send the names listed by Mr. Zimmerman through our comm line to the Assailant. It is possible Dr. Mercy may be able to compare his current findings on the cause of the madness with the biology of the 3 species represented in the away team. Though I believe it unlikely, it may be possible that either the Bajoran or Betazoid crewmembers, or perhaps both may have escaped infection in which case they will be a potential source of aid once we arrive on-scene." He then spun his chair to face both the Science and Tactical Stations, "Lieutenant Parsons, coordinate with myself and Mr. Zimmerman. Having garnered all we can from our current level of access, we will attempt to reroute power to the sensor systems. As the bridge is proven to be fed by a power unit, it may be possible to access the sensors of their tactical station. However, it has been reported by the ship that discovered the Angel that sensor readings have proven ineffective at even confirming the existence of the artifact. Should the Angel's logs be found equally lacking, we will attempt to access the bridge viewscreen recorders, to at least acquire a current visual of the artifact's status and posture." With that, Savot and the other bridge officers bent to their stations and attempted to shed another layer of this mystery... OFF: The information on the away team was provided by Admiral Lin in response to reading the actions of my previous post. This is the way all data for the time being will be received, as such this is not a mission like usual where we add our own creative twists to the plotline. We can state ideas with which to gather information, keeping in mind that any extreme and/or non-routine actions are subject to CO approval, and post our characters carrying out the actions we come up with. As we receive PMs containing the information our efforts gathered, or the lack thereof as the case may be, that is when we reveal in a post what we turned up. It's not ours to create until otherwise informed. This was already stated in the instructions at the beginning of the thread, I just wanted to re-iterate for any that may have missed it or been confused so as to avoid as much misunderstanding as possible. Having said all that, let's do our thing people

"Mr. Parker, send the names listed by Mr. Zimmerman through our comm line to the Assailant.” Savot said.
“Yes sir, Commander.” Jamey gathered the information from Zimmerman’s station, and started to format the information for sub-space. Calling up the communication information on his own station, he accessed the channel/up-link back to the Assailant that Zimmerman had established before leaving. Encoding the message as per protocol, he headed the message to all that Savot had said before and also to the Nevada … Admiral Lin, Dr. Mercy, Captain Jira and also Dr. Lorre Melain.
=^=The away team was led by the ship's First Officer, Commander Gavin Tavistock, a Human. The other members were the Chief Engineer, Lieutenant Commander Lea Sollis - Bajoran, Betazoid Counsellor Ensign Suzi Ento, and lastly Human Science Officer Lieutenant Derek Ramallo. =^=
Jamey was rubbing his stomach because he just got that feeling in the pit of it, the same kind he had when piloting a cargo ship in the DS9 region when something wasn’t just right; the one where all the cards weren’t on the table. Was something waiting around the next bend? Just a big artifact that was built by who knows who ages ago Jamey thought. Based on the past mission, old history-book-absent races were starting to become a common theme. And why were they so firm on creating technology that seemed to be out to destroy every ship that passed by? Must have been a different universe back then … the message status indicator flashed before him interrupting his thought, “Commander, the message has been sent. It will be a moment before we get an acknowledgement back from Assailant. Also, we are one hour and forty minutes away from our destination.”

Magellan sat and read through the message from The El Sal. He quickly cross referenced the information with the sporadic logs Drew had retrieved, the crew roster at command and the patients in the infirmary. He frowned and then put in a call. "Ah Lt Parker. No need to disturb Captain Irae. I ve just recieved your logs concerning the away team. Our records seem to tally except for one thing. There is still a person missing from Sickbay - we assumed he was on the away team." "Missing?" "Yes. he is on the crew roster but not here on the station. It maybe he was killed prior to the encounter withe the artifact, but with out the logs or anyone to tell us we have to assume he is likewise missing either on the Artifact or the Angel." "Who was it sir?" "An NCO - Petty Officer G'Rak" "G'Rak - sounds klingon." "He was, enlisted two years ago. Sketchy record, history of insubordination to superiors and usually... well klingon about it. Tread carefully Magellan Out."

Back on the Assailent the medical team was examining blood samples collected from the Angel crew. Their symptoms resembled those of the Dradrians, which was reassuring, but any progress made was limited, and often led to dead ends.
"We've been at this for 3 hours, and all I've managed to achieve is getting a headache." Melain groaned, she never could handle her raktageno, and jumja tea wasn't exactly a stimulant.
"I know where your coming from. Let's have the computer process our findings and see what comes out of it. A couple of hours of rest will clear our minds and help us think. Let's summerize what we know." Stuart declaired.
"The virus mainly effects the Adrenal Medulla, causing epinephrine and norepinephrine levels to rise uncontrolled in the later stages. Prior to that all symptoms seem to be a result of variose chemical imbalances, not all of which are explained by an infected Medulla. Most symptoms, including cold and hot flashes, fever, loss of weight, nosea and dizzyness resemble those of the commom flu, and can be treated to keep the patients comfortable." Melain replied, checking her notes. "Anything to add?"
<Tag Stuart>
"Alright then, I'll see you again in a couple hours." Melain yawned. She headed toward her geust quarters, eager for some rest.
Melain did not sleep well. Like nights after cramming at the Academy, she dreamt of medicine. Thousands of faces swarmed into view, pasty white, dripping with a feverd sweat. Moaning in agony, accusing her of not trying hard enough. Why wasn't she trying hard enough?
She awoke in a cold sweat, confused for a moment about where she was. Gathering her barrings she stubled to the washroom and splashed warm water on her face. She'd only slept an hour, but didn't dare crawl back into bed.
=A= Doctor Lorre, we have an incoming transmission from Earth for you =A= a strange voice called over her comm badge, which lay on the bedside table.
Melain picked it up, knowing she should have expected this. =A= send it through to my quarters=A=
A moment later the computer on the desk flickerd to life, and the concerned face of Melain's mother appeard. "Oh thank the Prophets!" The older Bajoran exclaimed. "We thought we'd never see you again. They told us you where lost, and we waited patiently, but no reports came, you have no idea how worried I was, how... sorry I am."
"What do you mean mother?" Melain asked, but she knew why.
"We've lied to you, we should have told you from the beginning, but ti's so hard. So hard to break something that's been a part of you for so long. You woudn't understand, but when you've grown up under those that wouldn't think twice about killing you for such things... It doesn't matter, the point is now you know. Benjel is not your father, he's your uncle. While I was pregnant with your your father and I where seen working for the resistance. When the Cardassians came for us, they killed your father. I wanted to run to his side as he died, but your uncle held me back. My sister, my dear sister lied to them. She said she was his wife... and they killed her too. I took on her name, and fled with Benjel to earth. Your name was once mine, and your earing was part your father's, part you aunt's." Lenary's voice grew choked, and Melain could tell that this was difficult, yet liberating. "You look so much like him, and your pagh is like Lenary's. I'm sorry, I have to go your.. uncle just arrived and I need to tell him you are still alive." The transmission cut, and Melain was shaking more then she had from her dream.

I will have an Ensign from my department meet you there in about twenty minutes ariennye thanks that will make things alot more easyer on me .” Brinia, looking down at her PaDD noticed an alarm that she had set to remind her of a task that could only be done at a specific time. “I must go now ariennye answer of course i understand, I have a time sensitive task that needs my attention. Again, thanks for your help you are very welcome an i am glad i could help smiles again ariennye follow the arrows an took a left .” Brinia had to get back to her desk to over see the new processor that was going to be brought on-line; the ship had been using the back-up processor ever since leaving space dock.

"He was, enlisted two years ago; sketchy record, history of insubordination to superiors and usually... well klingon about it … Tread carefully Magellan Out.”
Jamey entered the report into the ships log and sent the message to the CO and FO stations. Jamey turned to Zimmerman who was busy working through sensor logs from the Angel. “Zimmerman, you know this mission keeps getting more strange by the minute. Magellan said that the list accounts for everyone except one Petty Officer … a Klingon named G’Rak. His record also states that he has a history of insubordination … so we will not know if he is effected by the artifact or if he is just being himself.” Jamey said in conversation. This mission was indeed going to be just as hair raising as the last; he also thought that it was about time we had a nice quite patrol for the next mission.

Lieutenant Parsons continued his attempts to access the Angel's tactical sensors to no avail. "Commander Savot, I am not yet able to access the Angel's tactical sensors or logs. All I can discern is that it did encounter something and the crew initiated an alert status, nothing new. Perhaps an away team could dock with ship via shuttle or, once we are in range, transporter. However, I am unable to provide any advanced reconnaissance data as of yet. Zimmerman, have you had any luck?"

The surgery for Ambassador had gone well, although it was badly timed. The Alien reptile had awakened, mumbled a few indiscernible words in its own tongue, and collapsed back into its slumber.
While Stuart proceeded with the surgery, with the help from Dr. Lorre, Lily was busy extrapolating the speech patterns of the alien.
"Trek la...back. You must send me... Kamet rik Die..."
That was the result Lily had arrived at. “Dr. Lorre, do you think he means back to the artifact?”
<Melain>
“You are right. He has been getting weaker since his awakening. I don’t think he is a threat since he appeared to be more frightened when he ran off the last time. Look, he’s awake again.” Stuart pointed at the creature.
<Melain>
“I believe the Nevada is still docked, although I don’t think it will be for long. I’ll have to notify Admiral Lin of our theory, and see what he thinks. How about you notify your ship and see if you can hold them up.”
Stuart notified the Admiral and informed him of the idea of letting the creature return to the artifact, although under guard, while Dr. Lorre placed a call to the Nevada.

"Aye, Captain! Will be ready to launch from spacedock in five minutes. All crewmembers were innoculated, and I have forwarded a communicae to your terminal from the El-Sal. It concerns the missing crewmembers from the Angel." Zhukarak was giving his report to Harrias as he had just exited from his Ready Room.
Everyone was back at their stations, ready to go. Captain Jira looked over the message that had been sent, looked over the Nevada's readyness status, and was about to give the go ahead for launch when a high priority message was received from Admiral Lin, concerning the alien reptile.

Magellans face appeared on the view screen. "Ah Commander Hrisvalar... sorry Colonel. I m somewhat unused to marines on the bridge - call me old fashioned." "No problem Sir I m still getting used to it myself" "I m calling to get you to hold departure for a few minutes. The alien taken from the Angels sickbay has awakwened once more, he is less aggressive and seems to be weakening rapidly. Drs Mercy and Melain think he maybe linked to the artifact in some way. All three of them will be transporting to teh Nevada." "I ll get sickbay ready" "Ensure you do. The patient must be SECURELY isolated. Treat him with great care until we know further. Dr's Mercy and Melain will try to treat him and establish a meaning ful dialogue. The El Salvador should be reaching the artifact in the next few hours - make best speed to reach them and offer assistance. Magellan Out."
OOC: I feel things are a little restricted in the mission - due to a misunderstanding - I will be contributing info via PM but this will only be to contribute - to add to the story etc etc - the actual sory is up to you. I ll be adapting to what you come up with and ensure plenty of twists occur. So let fly with your creative juices.

That was the result Lily had arrived at. “Dr. Lorre, do you think he means back to the artifact?”<Melain>] "It's tough for me to say, I'm geussing so.Perhaps Counsellor Mitchell could answer that" Lorre gestured to Grace who had been following them like a shadow, a concerned look on her face. "He has a strong desire to go somewhere, dp we have any images of the artifact for him to see?" Grace replied. "Just a moment." Lily headed to a computer consel returning with a PADD a few secounds later. "We'll have to wake him up." Stuart said, prepping a hypospray. The Alien awoke, and looked around groggily. His eye's seemed to light up when he saw the picture. "Kamet rik Die! Kemet!" the Reptillian exclaimed. "Trek la!" "I'd say that is most certainly where he wants to go." Grace answered. as the alien drifted off to sleep once more "Then it would appear that the answers we need lay there. The only merciful thing to do is return him." Melain decided. “You are right. He has been getting weaker since his awakening. I don’t think he is a threat since he appeared to be more frightened when he ran off the last time. Look, he’s awake again.” Stuart pointed at the creature. "Stay with him, I'll contact Captain Harrias." Melain tapped her comm badge. =A= Do you have room for a few more Colonel?=A= =A= Admiral's informed us of you arrival, I believe your medical team is prepping sickbay as we speak.=A= The Colonal replied. "Right then, Grace are you coming?" Melain asked. <Tag Grace> "We are ready for transport directly to sickbay."

OFF: Sorry about that everyone, totally my misunderstanding based on the phrasing that's the way I thought it was going down. Just figured if some things were pre-determined, like the crew names and such provided in the first clue I received, that if people were free-range making things up that the pre-existing data could be rendered useless and change the entire shape of the mission. I apologize to my crew for holding back your creative juices, and without further ado encourage you all to bust out the imagination to your hearts' content. No worries Savot - I should have made it clearer to you LOL. Sometimes there are big gaps in the way I explain things - ask anyone in CSS LOL - Magellan
